Need help, never been to Rite Aid before and I’m confused.

I want to get Keri Lotion @ $6.99 which gives $6 UP and Allegra D@ $18.99 which gives $3 UP.So do I get a Wellness Card, then buy the Keri, get $6 UP and are UPS like RR’s that I then apply it to the Allegra in a separate transaction?  HELP PLEASE!

      • Guest

        Yes, that would work.

        • Anonymous

          Thanks!

          • Christympeake

What’s the zip code for Amr & Hammer detergent?  I’m not seeing a laundry product coupon…

            • Anonymous

              Thank you!!!!!!!!

            • Christympeake

Shoot – still not there.  I see fabric softner sheets but no detergent

      • Anonymous

+Ups are similar to RRs except for the fact that you do have limits set by Rite Aid but you don’t have all those crazy Wag rules. You can buy one product with four +Ups IF that product totals all those +UPs before tax. Using a +Up from the same manufacturer does not cancel out another +Up either, which is an annoying thing with Wag’s RRs. Rite Aid’s +Up would be better compared to a CVS ECB since they have almost identical rules.

Yes, you will need a Wellness Card to get all the deals too. IF one of the deals is a SCR (Single Check Rebate) you will enter your receipt info on their website and you can request a check once (and only once) a month after you’ve applied all SCR receipts from that period. Jenny has a bunch of helpful links at the top of this section on Rite Aid. It’s on the right hand side in a small blue box under Rite Aid Links.

        Have fun!

    • Amanda

There is also an Arrid coupon for $1/1, making that deal a money-maker?

      • Diane

        just found it!  Thanks!

        • Sl5xm

whats the link?  i cant seem to find it

          • Amanda

I actually found it on another blog…it’s a printable. You may have better luck googling it than I did.

      • Ellie

The printable one is no longer available that I can see. I was thinking I saw one from the paper not too long ago, but I haven’t been able to find mention of it online. If there is a valid one from the paper, what is the expiration on it? Thanks so much!

    • Need help.  I have 40.00 in rewards that will expire on Saturday.  Could someone please give me some scenarios that would help me flip these rewards.  I do not have any of the makeup coupons left.  Thanks so much.

      • Mcleodsc

Print the boogie wipes coupon, the colgate 360 tb coupon, get out your $1 stayfree ss11/06, .50 colgate tp ss10/30 and $2 keri lotion 10/16 sscoupons.
Buy all of this with some of your ups-get back more ups. Get the SCR booklet and roll your expiring UPS by buying some of the SCR items. You will get a check back for these items. YOu should end up with some new UPS from the listed purchases plus be able to roll the expiring ones into a check.

      • Anonymous

If you have not done the Revlon tools deal this week, you can do that twice. Even if you don’t have coupons, it’s still not bad and it would use about half of your UPS. For every $10 you get back 4 UP’s and $3 SCR’s.  As a whole you can do the Revlon deal with any Revlon up to four times and get the $4 UPs but I would just do it twice with the tools so you can get back the SCRs too.

I didn’t realize you can get the sale items on Saturday before the 6th!

        • karen

This is an awesome senario but the +ups expire on the 5th and this ad starts the 6th. i’m in the same boat w expiring +ups!

          • Oh sorry misread her post. That sucks that they expire tomorrow instead Sunday, otherwise she would have had a lot of fun

      • Bluchihuahuas

If u have $2 off tide u can buy 8 tide and get $15 up back. U have to spend $50. Then your coupons will take off 10. U have to add a toothpaste to reach the $50 can’t remember which one. Look in the ad(it also had a coup this Sunday)

      • SWEEET48401

DEBBIE YOU STILL CAN USE YOUR UPS…JUST HAVE THE CASHIER PUNCH IN THE  FIRST 11 NUMBERS OF THE COUPON…RITE AID TAKES THE EXPIRED COUPONS THE CASHIER SHOULD KNOW  WHAT TO DO

        • Mamacrzy77

How long after they expire do they take them.  Do I just tell her to punch the numbers in?  Thanks

    • Mcleodsc

Looks like a better week than at cvs or wags

    • Staci_marie

Hubby needs a new Spinbrush head – good time for a B1G1.  Of course, if they’re b1g1 @ $8.99, will have to buy something else also to get the $5 +up on $10.

Looks like a good week though…

    • Staci_marie

      Question – for RiteAid’s B1G1, if you get 2 items – can you use 2 MQ’s or only 1?

      • noelle

With RA’s new coupon policy you can only use 1 MQ.  It makes most B1GI deals less appealing.

        • Rhornsby

I was just reading the policy linked here to this site and it says 2 can be used, is this policy out dated?

    • There is a coupon in the Rite Aid flu shot coupon book for $1 off Secret or Gillette Clinical anti-perspirant/deodorant. Makes the +UP deal even better!

    • CSat

Does anyone else have problems with the SCRs ?  I have submitted for 2 of them and both times it says that it wasn’t for qualify items.  One was for the Zicam and the other the cold medicine from a couple of weeks ago.

      • Annie

Yes! I bought the Revlon tools.  I checked to make sure I had bought the right amount and they said I didn’t have enough to qualify!!

        • Gofxj4

When this has happened to me, I emailed them and they made it right.

      • Nonnie Mouse

I have been doing them for the last 2 years and haven’t had a problem yet. That said, we are very careful to check product sizes/count and get the rebate filed online before the end date.

Did do submit your rebates before the 26th? The SCRs rolled over then, not at the end of the calendar month.

      • Amorocks320

i had a problem with the cough med….with the bee on it…. i sent them an email. havent gotten a response yet

      • Anonymous

Did you make sure you got the right Zicam because I believe it was only for a certain one. Same with the cold medicine. I did both SCRs without any problems. I would call customer service either way. Can’t hurt to ask.

      • Just4yall

If you are talking about the Zicam Cold that was a MM, that is not the right Zicam for the Rebate.

    • kellync

I’m trying to get the revlon crackle coupon off facebook but i can’t find it. Does anyone know how to find it?

    • kellync

Sorry it’s the Sally Hansen not Revlon

    • Hillary

For the Simply Saline Neti Pot, there’s a coupon listed under for a free Refill.  Where is that coupon?  I don’t see a link to printable or insert info.  Thanks!!

      • guest

There is also a MIR on the Simply Saline website up to $14.99!  HTH

        • Hillary

          Thanks!!

    • Logansmommy05

This Sunday is going to be my first Rite aid coupon trip. Can I get more than one of the Colagate and get more than one up reward? Is it like Walgreens, or is the limit 4 meaning you can get 4, and receive all 4 up rewards?

      • Littlemcknz

It means you can get four rewrds.

    • Guest

So, can I purchase the KERI lotions get the +UP and buy another and get another +UP? I am trying to buy four, OR are +UP like RR’s you cant use them for the item your recv’d them for??????

      • Parker

There is a limit of one.

        • kalibsmom

Is it one a day or one the whole week the sale is running?

          • Bamasaver

The limit is per week, per card.

      • Rite Aid +UP rewards are much easier to use because you can “roll” them on the same product, but they have limits.  So, no, that won’t work on the Keri lotion if the limit is 1.  However, if a product has a bigger limit, you can keep using rewards to buy the next one until you hit the limit.

      • Southern Charm08

For the Keri Lotion you can use the $2 mfr and receive the +ups. Also you can get another card with a different phone # or have a friend or relative go with you and they can get a free Rite Aid card… then you will have 2-4 + Ups rewards on different cards through. great gifts. But Christine is correct due to the no# on cards you can’t use on a second Keri due to limited to one card.. hope this helps.

      • roseandruth’smom

my rite aid does not roll up rewards on the same items even if the limit is more than 2…like the colgate this week.  There is a limit of 4 but I cannot buy one at a time and roll the ups.

    • Anonymous

Can someone explain to me how the +UP rewards work?  Thanks!

    • Mcleodsc

Did anyone else redeem their Taylor Swift points? Did you get the merchandise? It has been a couple of months and so far have recieved nothing.

      • Christi

I redeemed one a couple months ago and got my poster in the mail. I redeemed a couple more last month and haven’t gotten those yet.

      • Satyre

I redeemed my points a couple of months ago.  Still waiting on Taylor Swift to shop up in my mailbox.  It hasn’t worked yet.

    • Shelly

There is a $1.50 off coupon in the Rite Aid flu booklet that makes the Lysol Healthy Touch $.49.  Sweet!

      • ckidd

        Sweeet!

      • CouponKing

Where can I get a Rite Aid flu booklet?

        • ckidd

You have to get the flu shot at Rite Aid and you get a free coupon book

        • Gentnervela

i just ask the pharmacy lady for one and she gave it to me !!!……

        • Satyre

Pray to the Rite Aid Flu Booklet Fairy and if you’ve been good, it will show up under you pillow in the morning.  If it doesn’t, well then, I guess you know what that means….

    • ckidd

On the transaction #1 deal scenario, it looks like there is one too many UP rewards. The way I am figuring it, you only get back $19 in UPs. Purchasing 6 items, but it shows 7 UPs. Am I figuring this right?

      • Anonymous

I do believe you are correct. Probably just a typo.

      • Elizabeth

You are correct. I realized it too when I did my shopping trip today.

    • Ms. Susan here from the West Columbia S.C. Walgreens on Augusta Road. Just want to let couponers know that if you would like to recieve Special Deals by email that you wont see any where elese, there is a box at my register to put your email address in. I can do this for anyone interested if you send me your email address to ssnracine@yahoo.com   and you will recieve a coupon for $5.00 off a $25.00 in store purchase via-email just for signing up. I would be glad to do this for anyone interested.

    • Lisa

I love my Rite Aid.  I got to know the store manager and staff and they are very accepting of couponers, since they are aware that coupons are “money in the bank.”

Used my 15 Up Rewards from last wee and I did (4) transactions today and paid about 3.50$ OPP.

      Got
      (2) Stayfree
      (2) Lysol Hand Touch Soap Dispenser
      (2) Glade Carpet Deodorizer
      (4) Arrid XX Deodorant
      (4) Colgate Total toothpaste
      (4) Colgate 360 Toothbrush
      (1) Keri Lotion

Got Back (2) $5 Up Rewards

      • ckidd

Love my Rite Aid, too! The Franklin, TN store rocks!

      • Paul B.

How did you break that up in transactions?

    • Mamacrzy77

I am so mad at myself I had 21.00 in rewards that expired yesterday. Is there anything I can do?

      • Anonymous

Read on below … someone has commented about Rite Aid taking expired UPs.  I’ve never tried it personally … but worth asking, for sure!  Good Luck!

      • Satyre

There sure is:  go into your bathroom, look in the mirror and say, “what a maroon I am”  That should do the trick.

        • Guest

          maroon?  Do you mean “moron”?

          • Satyre

Nope, I meant maroon which is defined as:

A malapropism and favorite expression of Bugs Bunny, after outwitting Elmer Fudd. Usually uttered by Bugs while walking away and wiping his hands in satisfaction.

            Bugs: “What a maroon.”

One more questtion like that and I’ll add you to the Maroon List

      • roseandruth’smom

I had this happen several months ago…I called the home office and they said it was up to the manager wether or not she would take them. She didn’t take them!!!!!  I was so unhappy but there was nothing I could do about it.

    • Misty Treptau

Looks like the Lysol Healthy Touch Handsoap Kit coupon is in SS 11/06. At least that is where I found mine.

    • Pamela Dutton

There is no $3 off coupon for the lysol healthy touch in the RP 11/06, does anyone know where I can find it??

      • Margoren

I got it, it must have been regional. I have never done this but some people get coupons on ebay. Good luck!

      • Margoren

Oh, and like someone said below, it came in the SS insert, I think.

        • Pamela Dutton

I didn’t get an SS this week, I only got a RP!! :-(

      • Angela

I  found that coupon on a tearpad at Dollar General. If you have a store nearby, they might still have it. It was on a display and doesn’t have any store logo on it. hth

    • britta

When items are BOGO and I am buying multiple items will the lowest price item always be the free ones. I am getting 2 A&H spinbrushes, 2 A&H refills, and 2 A&H toothpaste. Everything is $8.99, except the toothpaste. Which ones will be free? Will it make a difference in the order that they are scanned?

      • noelle

Hi Britta, I bought 4 spin brushes and 4 orajels the other day.  Bought them all in the same transaction, didn’t pay attention to what order they were scanned.  The computer just made the like item for free–so bought a toothbrush got a toothbrush free, bought a toothpaste got a toothpaste free.

    • Ronda

At my Rite Aid, there were (2) Lysol healthy touch soap dispensers in a clearance bin for $7.49 each.  They were the aloe and vitamin E ones.  The new holiday scents were $9.99.  With the $3.00 coupon and the $5 Up Reward, they were a moneymaker!!

    • Laura

Thanks for the gift icons. A coworker belongs to Soldiers Angels, she selected a soldier that a group of us will send a gift box to. This will make it so much easier for me to find deals and fill up that box!

    • Anonymous

My quick trip to Rite Aid actually worked out today. Used the $5 Naturemade RAQ on a single bottle for half off since there weren’t two left for the BOGO sale. Paid $.98 with tax! Of course, had to wait for manager to check for additional stock first. As if anything has ever magically appeared out of the stockroom!

      • Aminehdestin_Paige

You’d be surprised, on big deals, sometimes we do have additional stock.. I always check our counts before modifying to half or giving rainchecks. lol. First customer I had on Monday was asking for a raincheck on the Keri, so I grabbed the gun to check counts (since I was off Sunday) and shock of all shocks, the last one I scanned said we had 8 in the stockroom. :) We just hadn’t had a chance to pull from the day before yet.

    • Misty Treptau

Okay. I need some advice. I went to Rite-aid and purchased 4 of  the Lysol Healthy Touch Handsoap Kits. After coupon and rolling +up reward, I paid 2.26, which included tax. I realized after I was home, that someone commented about a coupon for these in our flu shot coupon book(1.50/1 coupon) I have 3 of these!!! I am now wondering if I should return them and then buy them again with this coupon. Has anyone else had to do something similar before? Wondering how it will work considering I used the $3 off coupon and used the +up rewards in rolling transactions. Any advice or shared experiences would be helpful. Thanks!!!!

Jenny, you might want to add the Flu shot coupon for a 1.50/1 for the Lysol Healthy Touch Handsoap Kit. Thanks for ALL you do.

      • roseandruth’smom

Hey Misty, I have done this before.  The store just refunded all my money as well as cash instead of the coupons and ups.  Then I just re-purchased the items and gave my new coupons and paid the rest in cash.  I didn’t recieve any ups back because they had already refunded me the cash for the ups.  I sure hopw this makes sense to you.

      • Susan

The could just do a “missed coupon” transaction at the register–much easier….no returning, rebuying, etc.  They just scan coupon and give you cash for it.  Done it several times before.

    • Rhornsby

Well, I am very curious….I just happened to reread the Rite aid coupon policy and it says you CAN use 2 coupons on the BOGO deals!  I am bummed out if that is true, because the above scenerio only shows to use one.  I do know in the past we were told you could only use one, due to the other zeroing out, but by the Rite Aid policy itself, it is stating we can use 2.  Does anyone have any insight into this?

      • Rhornsby

OOPS, never mind, I must have clicked on an old link to an old policy somewhere somehow!  : )

    • kalibsmom

I have a question. I did a transaction and the cashier messed it up. I used a manufacturers coupon during the original transaction. We returned the merchandise, I was refunded the exact amount that I paid, and I repurchased it. I asked the store manager about my coupon because I wanted to use it on the second transaction. She said once you scan a coupon its done. She can’t rescan it and can’t refund money in place of it. I see one person had this problem before. Has anyone else had the same problem – if so, what did they do?

      • Susan

Not true–I’ve had that happen before.  They should have refunded you the whole price (including coupon).  That way you could have used the refunded money to rebuy and would’t have lost the coupon value.  Never had problems with them doing it that way before.

        • kalibsmom

Is this in the policy anywhere, I wonder?

          • Aminehdestin_Paige

No, technically the policy says that when a refund is done and coupons were used, the price reimbursed is less any coupons (and +UPs) used and the coupon cannot be returned to the customer since there’s a whole process that the company goes through to deduct credit for coupons when the items were returned. I think the way I explained it above, is the best way to do it, even though I’m pretty sure it does end up costing the store (since that coupon is now voided with the return whenever they do return credits) but just treated as a customer service since a mistake was made in the original transaction… especially being on the cashier’s part.

            • I’m sorry, but I do not understand this. I seldom do refunds, but on the rare occasions, I have gotten the full purchase price back, including the value of my coupons. If I buy a tube of toothpaste and use a $1 coupon and return it immediately because I bought the wrong kind, it would be unfair for me not to get the coupon or money for it. Rite Aid would still have my coupon to be reimbursed by the manufacturer. Their drawer should not be short as they would count that coupon at the end of shift. If you give me my coupon back, I could use it on the correct purchase. I think that the same would apply to Up rewards because RA will still physically have them to count with their drawer. What else would they do with them? Would they throw them away? Would they turn them in for reimbursement? That seems to be the only two options, and if they turned them in, then they would be receiving money that belonged to the customer. How is that even remotely good customer service?  If a policy requiring the cashier to not return my full purchase price in some way were implemented, then I”m afraid I would have to choose to not shop there anymore.

Of course, if I did my refund and re-buy all in the same transaction, I should still have credit for my coupon.

            • Aminehdestin_Paige

That’s basically what I was stating… when you immediately do a refund because you realized you did something wrong, it makes sense to credit it as though that coupon is going towards the new purchase… so an even exchange. I was just trying to point out what the policy states, and what the computers are apparently getting updated to do when it comes to returns. We, as consumers, and simple retail employees, don’t know the ins and outs of how coupons are reimbursed aside from the basic things… customer uses coupon on product, store turns in coupon, manufacturer reimburses coupon as long as all criteria was met during transaction.  It turns out though, that retailers also have to account for returns made on products purchased with coupons, and there’s some sort of reverse credit that happens every so often, so that they aren’t paid for coupons that wouldn’t have been taken had that purchase not originally been made… since it was returned. So in the end, they won’t get paid for that coupon, but if they don’t have it to turn in, they still lose that credit so it costs them one of the other coupons. Please, read both of my replies though, because I wasn’t stating that if you make a purchase and there’s a mistake that makes you have to return it, that you should then lose out on that coupon, I actually stated the opposite. If and when the computers do immediately scan for what the customer actually paid for a product during a return though, I thought people should have the heads up.

      • Aminehdestin_Paige

Technically, refunds are supposed to be done, less the coupon. The system is being updated to actually make it impossible to refund the amount of the coupon as well. BUT, that isn’t in place yet, and we still type in the price so since you were doing a return just to repurchase, since there was a mistake… I think they should’ve refunded the full amount (not deducting the coupon since you can’t reuse it, that would make the drawer short) and then re-rang it all which would’ve balanced it all out. If that was the store manager, and not a shift manager, you might want to call customer service, to see if there’s any way to maybe get a replacement +UP coupon or gift card for the difference. I don’t know if they will do it, but it’s worth a try.

Hi Ladies, Is  anybody NOT  going  to use the $3.00 Lysol q, I would  really  love  it!  One  or  two.  Could  trade for Schick B1G1.  I didn’t  get  the  Lysol one  in my last week paper. Thank you. yuliyaporter@yahoo.com Thanks

    • Snoopymama0719

I’m so mad!!! I went to Rite Aid and tried to get the B1G1 M&M’s using the $1.50 off Mars coupon. The lady refused to take it b/c it said “available at Walmart on it…..I pointed out that it said Manufactures coupon and she called the manager over. The manager looked at it and said they could not take “walmart coupons”. After going around in a circle, I ended up leaving without the M&Ms. Has anyone else had this problem?

I did take advantage of the Rice Krispies B1G1 and Baby Orajel B1G1 with my coupons, so I was happy about that….I wanted my chocolate fix though!

      • hi, I bought the baby Orajel as well. I had a $1 Q that was scanned but when I got home, the $1 was not taken off. I’m new to this, do Q not work on B1G1? Thanks

        • Snoopymama0719

I’d check back with them. I looked at my receipt and mine was taken off.

        • Aminehdestin_Paige

Call the store and tell them what happened. Quickly, so they can possibly look for the coupon. If you need to, give them the cashier number and go back when he/she is there and talk to them and hope they remember that you did have the coupon, and have the receipt with you which will show that it didn’t come off. Hopefully, they’ll be understanding and helpful enough to get one out of the coupon envelope and post coupon it. That’s going to be a 50/50 shot though, because if the cashier doesn’t remember, then it’s basically theft to take a coupon out of the envelope and scan it… if they remember though, they know there’s an extra coupon in there that didn’t get scanned based on your receipt. It *shouldn’t* be too hard to fix.

      Goodmorning,

I want to buy the stayfree pads. My rite aid ad does not say a limit (Michigan). I want to buy 4, will I get $8 in rewards?  This is my first time shopping rite aid.

      Thanks :)

      • alohawahines

It is a limit of 2 +up rewards per household on the stayfree deal.

    • So went to Rite Aid yesterday and was as upset as the cashier when I left. On the 2nd day of a sale I have never had a problem with the sale items already being gone. But everything I went for the shelves were CLEARED and I mean cleared. I commented about it and the cashier said a customer came in with 5 different cards and bought up everything they had. Since there is no corporate policy against this they had to do the transactions. So unfair!! She said the customer also said it was for “their store”. How is that even right? I coupon so I can afford things for my family of 6 not to cheat the system.

      • Aminehdestin_Paige

Oh wow. We’ve had people try that before, but we always say that we can’t do it. We’ll allow 2 cards, since a lot of people in this area shop for others, and that’s reasonable enough, but more than 2, and we just say that we limit to 2 per customer. Just like limiting quantities for people with only one card. If we limit something to 4, and you come in with 2 cards, it’s still a limit of 4 for that day. It’s the only fair way we can try and keep stock for everyone, rather than the couple of people who skirt the system….

      • Staci_marie

How were you able to use the $1.50 on top of the $3 off MQ?

        • Anonymous

It is a Rite Aid coupon- not manufacturer

    • Anonymous

Look in the clearance section for the Boogie Wipes.  They were $2 so a money maker!

    • Robinsonk81

I am new to Rite Aid since I gave up on Walgreen’s. Trying to figure out when the RR would print and not print was sooooo frustrating. So my question is if I purchase two of the Colgate in the same transaction will I receive 2 +UP rewards or will I only get 1 +UP reward?

      • Staci_marie

As long as the deal is not ‘limit 1’ then you’ll get 2 +ups on your receipt.  It will be a LONG receipt.  Purchase info at the top, and +ups below.  But you can break it into multiple transactions to keep your OOP less.

        Such as
        scenario 1:  Buy 2 Colgate Toothpaste, $3.50 x 2.  Use 2 MQs, $.50 x 2.  Buy 2 Colgate 360 Toothbrushes, $2.99 x 2.  Use 2 MQs, $.75 x 2.  OOP = $10.48 + Tax.  Get $3.50, $3.50, $2, $2 +Ups.

        scenario 2:  Buy 1 Colgate Toothpaste, $3.50.  Use 1 MQ, $.50.  OOP = $3.00 + Tax, Get $3.50 +Up.  Buy 1 Colgate Toothpaste, $3.50.  Use 1 MQ, $.50.  Buy 1 360 Toothbrush, $2.99.  Use 1 MQ, $.75.  Redeem $3.50 +Up, OOP = $1.74 + Tax.  Repeat the process to purchase the other items.

The nice thing about smaller +Ups, you can use them easier.  If you had a $7.99 +Up for example, you’d have to use it on a product total (after coupons, before tax) of at least $7.99.  If you had +Ups for $2, 2, 2, 1.99, the total is still $7.99 but you could use one or more on smaller transactions, keeping OOP low, but not have to use them all at once.

    • Staci_marie

Had a good trip to RA last night – my most complicated one by far.  I had planned out a bunch of transactions.  I was a little concerned when #1 on my list was out of stock:  the Keri lotion.  But everything else was there, and I managed an impromptu reorganization to still keep OOP as low as possible considering what I was getting.

      I bought:
      2 Spinbrush Procleans, $8.99 B1G1 w/ $2 MQ
      4 Colgate 360 Toothbrushes, $2.99 each w/ $.75 MQ
      2 Colgate Advanced Toothpaste, $3.50 each w/ $.50 MQ
      2 Stayfree products, $3 each w/ $1 MQ
      1 Lysol Hands free, $9.99 w/ $3 MQ and $1.50 SQ

      I started with no +Ups, and ended with 1 x $5 +Up.  I spent $15.60 OOP including sales tax.

I do plan to get in another trip by Saturday.  I’d like to buy 4 packs of Spinbrush Refills.  (They only had 1 refill last night on the shelf.)  Each pair will earn $5 +Up so OOP will be $1.99 + tax.  I also plan to buy 1 more of the Lysol no touch, $.49 OOP + tax.  And the Keri lotion, a $1.01 money maker.

Just curious about this “Deal Idea” on this A&H spinbrush toothbrush and kids Orajel toothpaste. Spend $10 get 5+ups. I did not see this deal until after I had done my transaction for some Orajel training toothpaste and my receipt showed I had spent $4 towards the $10. Now I got on here last night and see that its a “deal Idea”. On here it says to use one Q for each in the “deal idea”. Yesterday when I went I bought 2 Orajel training toothpastes….B1G1 @ $3.99.  I used a $2+up and 2 -$1.00 off man. Q….so I only paid tax for them.  My question is: Was this not supposed to happen way or are you able to use 2 man. Q’s like I did. It worked for me, just wondering why the “deal idea” says to use 1 Q for each when it looks like you can use 4 Q in the transaction.  So i see the deal as: Total Due $8.48, use $6 in Q = Total Due $2.48+ tax and get $5+ups. So to me Rite Aid is giving me $2.50+ups to buy all 4 items. So did my Rite Aid screw up? or can you actually do this? Kids powered toothbrushes are great stocking stuffers. Especially if its free.

      • Staci_marie

My understanding of RA’s coupon policy:  when they have B1G1 free, you can only use a MQ on the one you pay for.

      • Lady_liz14

From my understanding after thoroughly reading Riteaid’s coupon policy is that you can use a Manufacturer’s Coupon on the item purchased. Something I saw in one of Jenny’s video showed her at CVS and she was talking about BOGO deals and she explained it as, they store itself is paying for the free item they give you but if you have a Coupon for BOGO you can use that on the one you purchased as well, or if you have a Man. coupon for a free item then you can use that as well. But since your not paying anything on the store’s Buy One Get One you shouldn’t technically be allowed to use one on the free item. I work at Walmart and I get alot of customers that come in trying to use coupons that aren’t for that specific item or trying to use a $2 coupon on travel sizes when it says on the coupon that you can’t. Unless the cashier reads the coupon requirements before scanning the coupon( if you bought something with that brand name and similar in features) will most likely go through their system and give you the coupon off. But in fact once that coupon gets to the accountants and they are added up, that store just lost money because the manufacturer is not going to pay them anything because they did not follow the requirements. And places like Riteaid that have club cards or memberships is easier then Walmart because they can keep track of who is trying to defraud them and such. Although, mistakes happen I’m sure in my 4 months at Walmart I’ve accidentally taken a coupon or two that will never get paid for because I either missed something or didn’t read correctly.

    • Lady_liz14

This week I went to Riteaid and got 2 Spinbrush pro toothbrushes(@ buy one get one), 2 tubes of Orajel instant pain relief(@ buy one get one), 2 Arm and Hammer Advanced white toothpaste(@ buy one get one), 1 pack one Bic Flex 4 3count razors, 1 Colgate sensitive pro-relief toothpaste, 2 Arm and Hammer Laundry Detergent, 2 Colgate total advanced toothpaste and 1 Keri brand lotion. I had 6 dollars worth of coupons. I spent $50.69 because I was new to the wellness program and haven’t had a chance to rack up on UP+ but at the end I got 30 UP+ in return, so it was really like only paying $20.69 for everything.

      • Staci_marie

For future reference, if you’d like to keep your OOP lower, you can break it up into several transactions.  Use the +Ups from one transaction to help pay for the next.

I get more (for less) at RiteAid than the other pharmacy stores.  Just pay attention to the expiration dates on your +ups.  They don’t last as long as CVS Extra Bucks.

    • Staci_marie

Went to another RA last night, got 1 more Lysol no-touch dispenser, 4 deoderants, and 4 Spinbrush refills.

Also asked about an item I’ve had a raincheck for since late October, and its not been on the shelf.  RC expires on day 30.  The manager said they’d had trouble getting the particular item in, and if they don’t get it in – they will honor the RC no matter how long it takes.  Was happy about that.

This may be listed somewhere in the comments, but I don’t have time to look through them.  Just wanted to mention a deal not listed in Jenny’s list above.  The sunglasses are BOGO50% this week with $10 up on 2 pair, (limit 4 ups).  The children’s sunglasses are 6.99.  Buy 2 pair 6.99 +3.49 = $10.48 and get back $10.  I think that Jenny has mentioned that sunglasses are great for the Samaritan’s Purse boxes if you are still packing your boxes.  Or stock up for next year.
