Get your favorite photo ready.  Rite Aid released a coupon for a FREE 8 x 10 photo print good Oct. 8-10th. You can use the coupon in-store or upload  your photo at home and pick it up the same day at your local Rite Aid. This is a $3.99 value.

(thanks The Thrifty Couple!)

Nice offer. My Rite-Aid does the Fuji process and it takes a week, therefore missing

the coupon valid dates. Any others experience this?

      • Wcushelley

Can't you order it online, pay for it online (with the coupon) and pick it up for free?

        • nancy

I don't think so, Wcushelley, but I could be wrong. I'm still very new to all

          this uploading, etc.

          • Mcquzie

I just ordered one online and it says that I need to pay in the store when I pick it up. I'll just bring my coupon and the invoice and it should be free. I'll let you know tomorrow!

            • Mcquzie

I had no problem picking up my free photo this morning after I ordered it last night!

      • grace

that has happened to me too and I ended up paying for the item, I suggest you do it instore

    • Jami

The coupon says “In Store or On-Line” but in the smaller print says “in store only”. And how do you go about using the coupon when paying online? Am I missing a code?

      • laura

I have done this offer at Rite Aid before. If you do it online you just say you will pay in the store and bring the coupon but you have to pick up at the store before the coupon expires.

    • Beepampered

Can you print the coupon multiple times and use it repeatedly or is this a one time only thing?

      • Susupurple

The coupon says limit one per customer. Not valid if duplicated.

    • I ordered online this morning but it will not arrive at my store before the coupon expires. Bummer!

      • When I signed in to use “today” processing it wasn't an issue, I wonder why some people are having problems!

        • The steps I saw on another blog were to do the 4-day service. I guess I should have used my common sense. If the manager is working when I pick up my print, he may accept my coupon. If not, guess I'll pay for it. My Rite Aid is a 20-mile drive so it is not worth a special trip just to use the coupon.

Do not order your prints as sepia tone. Mine was so flaming orange ugly, I told the photo counter worker “This looks awful, do the sepia photos always look like this?” He replied “yes”. Even though I had the free coupon I left the print on the counter and walked out of the store! I refuse to waste my my coupon on a picture that will just go in the trash! I've had the same problem with cvs and target, I guess it takes a little more skill than just hitting “print” on the machine.

You need to use a photo program on your computer to make it sepia. That way you can control how much “brownish” color you want. Then you just upload the picture exactly the way you want it.

    • I had no problem using my coupon (ordered online, picked up in store on friday). HOWEVER, the print quality was HORRIBLE. I have a decent camera and it takes high resolution photos. I edited both photos (I opted for the two 5x7s), and they looked great on my computer. I've printed pictures at various places many times and have never had this problem. The photos looked almost grainy, as if they WERE low resolution (but they weren't). And one of them had horrible contrast issues…the coloring was way off.

I'm assuming the point of these freebies is to get folks to use the photo service, like it and then come back (and pay) for add'l services. This totally backfired in my case. I even spoke with two folks at the store and they didn't really seem to care. Normally the staff at this store is wonderful. Disappointing experience.

I used the free 8×10 coupon and the ten 4×6 coupon for 99 cents and after she scanned my wellness card and coupons the register told her she owed me money instead of me owing them money. it was only 39 cents but heck how many times do you ever go to pay and the register give you money instead of you giving it money??
