If you get the Secret Clinical deal, make sure to get one that has a red “$15 of coupons inside” sticker on it.

Dknmiami: If you buy something with UP rewards, then look on the bottom of your receipt for a coupon you can use on (almost) anything on your next purchase.

    • Kb

sounds like this is the week God is telling me to give Rite Aid a try!

      • ireneY

        It's the voice of Jenny!

    • Jenni

And you can also get 2 free Snickers Marathon bars if you use the BOGOF coupon from the August All You Issue, page 64!

      • kcreviews

Thank you for including the page number! That was so helpful!

    • Sjwinkle

I don't see a $2 Rite Aid coupon for the Garnier skin care product in the current values videos?

      • Sjwinkle

never mind, I ended up finding it within the video watching area under “skin care”. Didn't see it at the beginning page though.

    • Tobys_Mom

I have a question about the Video Value coupons. I have a Cottonelle one from 2 different months. I think one is from July and one is from August. Can I use both of those in one transaction?

      • ChristyMy

        Yes! I used both yesterday.

    • Jshaw

      My wet & wild q is for spend $10 gt $5 off…

      • Melissaoski

mine too. I was just about to ask if anyone else had the same one.

      • Jessica

Do you mean your video values coupon? It could have been from July. If so, it would expire at end of August instead of September.

    • Krista_A

I have a great scenario if you need diapers with the Cottonelle:

      Buy:
      (2) pack Huggies $8.99 ea
      (2) Cottonelle $6.49 ea

      Use:
      -$5/$25 Rite Aid
      (2) -$2 Huggies Video Values
      (1) -$2.50 Huggies Pure & Natural
      (1) -Free Huggies (SCR free pack of diapers wyb 5 packs)
      (2) -$1 Rite Aid Cottonelle printable
      (2) -$1 Cottonelle July AY

      Total Due: $6.47
      Get Back: $10 SCR, $2 UP… $5.53 profit!!!
Even with another -$2.50 Huggies Pure & Natural if you don't have the free diaper one, you pay only $0.96 for everything after rebates!

      • Saeweardsmith

        Krista

I have never done RA..it makes me nervous. I love CVS but would like to try this scenario…I have a few questions. What/where is the Huggues Video Values? What is SCR..for the free diapers?
        Thanks-
        Saeweard S

        • Aminehdestin

The Video Values, is on the rite aid website. Just go to www(dot)riteaid(dot)com and click the link for Video Values. You watch a commercial for each item you want a coupon for. They range in length, from about 15 seconds to 3.5 minutes. You earn credits for watching videos as well, and once you get 20 credits, you get a bonus coupon for $5/$25 front end purchase. There are 2 videos you can watch individually as well that give you $5/$25 coupons, one is a Wellness video, and the other a pharmacy video. The SCR, you're coming in too late for. It was a rebate we had going for [I think] 3 months, where if you bought 5 packs of Huggies you got a voucher for a free pack. SCR is our “Single Check Rebate” program. It's also easiest to do on the Rite Aid website. You just enter the information at the top of your receipt and then at the end of the month click “send me my check” and you get a check back. You can only get one a month though, so don't hit it when you enter your first receipt. Let it accumulate throughout the month. So without that voucher, you'd just be paying an additional $6.49 for the same transaction.

          • Saeweardsmith

            Thanks!!!

      • Saeweardsmith

        Krista

Another question….I have read alot and have answered alot of my questions…but how do you get multiple RA Q's…my account only allows me to print 1…

        • There was a Video Values coupon for last month that is still good and there is one for this month. Since they are different coupons with different dates and codes, they could both be used.

      • tarheelbaby1

When I look at the SCR deals on the Rite Aid site, I don't see the regular Huggies jumbo packs listed as eligible for the $25 Kimberly Clark SCR. I only see the Little Swimmers. I really want to do this deal, but I'm unsure if the SCRs will work out.

        • Erin

Yes–it says only Huggies “big pack.” Also, you can use two RA Cottonelle printables because they are from different months; however, the Huggies RA coupons are for $2 and for $1 off wipes when you buy Huggies jean diapers. I might email customer service to see if I can get an answer about what comprises a Huggies “big pack.”

      • Erin

This won’t work for a couple reasons. First, the jumbo Huggies are not part of the gift card deals. I called customer service and it sounds like the Huggies that are included must be the boxes, judging by the diaper counts (size 3 = 76 ct, 4 = 64, 5 = 56, etc.). Second, Rite Aid’s official policy isn’t to allow overage, so they’re not going to let you combine a free mfg coupon with a $2 RA VV coupon. Yeah, I get overage sometimes, but I can’t imagine them letting a free coupon combined with an RA coupon slide through. I admit I’m bummed. I had a great strategy with one package of diapers and three Cottonelles combined with a 10 percent discount, $5/25 coupon, and mfg and RA coupons. Back to the drawing board. . . .

    • Brenda Dixon

The RP Rite Aid coupon says no more prints available

    • Aimee

My Rite Aid weekly circular is showing that Cottonelle and Viva papertowels are $5.99. I think it's great that these can qualify for more than one rebate.

    • Kclark20

Is the $2 off coupon for Garnier gone from RP? I can't find it.

      • There is a $1 one here.

    • kcreviews

It seemed like forever, but I finally watched all those videos to get the $5/$25 q!

    • Tiffanycholmes

Where can I find Rite Aid's newest coupon policy? My store is EXTREMELT picky about coupons and I want to be sure that I am as familliar with it as possible! Any help would be very much appreciated!

      • K Hanks07

Hey girl! It's Kelly Hanks- if you're talking about the Quitman RA, I don't even bother with them anymore. Go to the Valdosta one at the corner of Ashley and Park- they are wonderful and always have wayyy more stock than Quitman. Not to mention their cashiers are couponers there too! The cashiers in Quitman shoot me dirty looks when I walk in the door :)

        • Tiffanycholmes

Ha! I had one cashier tell me that people were getting fired for letting people use coupons so she couldn't check me out because she didn't want to lose her job!! Really? The manager always has to come over and check me out instead! It's crazy! Thanks for the tip! I'll try that next time!

          • Brooke

I DEFINITELY understand where you’re coming from, but it’s not that crazy. There is rampant coupon fraud and as long as she was cordial, which she better have been(or I would have personally chewed her out if I found her to be unprovokingly rude(as I do NOT put up with rude employees anymore)lol… I think it’s probably okay what she did to make herself feel comfortable about not losing her job.

      • If you click on my name, it will take you to my blog. I have the policy link posted on my right sidebar. It is a pdf file. Feel free to download it to your computer and print it out.

        • Tiffanycholmes

          Thanks so much!!

    • glammyyams

quick question….in regards to computer coupon prints….i know we can print two coupons per computer. however is that a week, day, month, or just two and that's it? i printed some a few weeks ago for some of the target dollar deals and wanted to get some more but did not know if i could or if that is a no-no.

      • Kate

Usually you can print two Q's per computer. You won't be able to print more until the manufacturer re-sets the Q's. IME, the Q's reset every 30 days or so but it depends on the manufacturer.

      • Aminehdestin

It depends on the site. The websites that limit to 2 per IP address, won't allow you to print anymore until they reset that coupon, and that timeline varies. So really, if it allows you to print, then it's fine. Those coupons have unique codes so as long as you aren't making copies or playing with your settings to somehow get multiples of the same coupon, each one you print is unique which makes it allowable. I don't know if that makes sense, so I'm sorry, but basically what I mean, is go to the site and if it lets you print them, then yes, it's allowed. ;-)

        • Erin

Question: I have watched the videos and printed the coupons twice for myself and for my mom. There’s been no problem but now we’ve been getting some “coupon already used” if one was used on one of our separate cards already? Does she need to get her own account for the coupons to not come back as already used?

      • Dianne

Usually the coupons are two for the month, but sometimes they get reloaded sooner than that. Try to print them again, and if you have reached your limit, then you'll get that message from your computer. The no-no is making copies of the two you get. That is illegal and stores lose that money. HTH!

    • K Hanks07

They had Garnier shampoo/conditioner on clearance at my RA. Used RP Q and Store Q to make it $.14. I also bought 2 packs of Huggies and it printed UP rewards for both so I got a total of $4 UP :)

      • ireneY

Oh boy, that's good news and bad news. Do you remember what type? Hopefully, not the one my hair likes!

        • K Hanks07

I think it is the Sleek and Shine… They came out with a new bottle or something, so I think all the old stuff is on clearance :)

          • ireneY

Hey, that's the one, so it's good news! My store only had the dandruff variety on clearance. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled… thanks!!

    • Dknmiami

I am a newbie. What are UP rewards. How do I get them?

      • RebeccaFer

There are several replies to this question here but basically, you get a +Up reward if you buy an item that is advertised to receive one. It is just like a CVS ECB where you have two weeks to use the reward (think of it as money toward your total) before it expires. There are sometimes limits so you have to be aware of that if you want to buy more than one. HTHs! :D

    • WynetteC

I have noticed UP reward listed, is that like a Register Reward or Extra Care Buck? Or is that the promised amount that they send you at the end of the month?

      • Dianne

UPs are printed on your receipt, and you use them like ECBs, as many as you need to keep bringing your total amt oop down. SCR is different; that's what they send in one check at the end of the month when you submit receipts.

        • WynetteC

Thank you. Perfectly explained. This must be something new they are trying. Sounds better than the end of the month check.

          • Aminehdestin

It is a newer program. We're throwing everything at you. We still do SCR as well, and a lot of items will have the +Up and a rebate attached. So you'll get some money to spend at Rite Aid on your next purchase (within a 2 wk. period before the expire) and at the end of the month, you get money to put back in the bank to make you feel like you spent less than you did, since you get it back. ;-D

            • WynetteC

Can you spend the UP money same as cash in Rite Aid (like CVS' ECBs) or is it tethered by a rule system like Walgreens (1=item for every coupon/RR used)?

            • RebeccaFer

Thankfully RA is smarter then Wags and they let you use as many +Up rewards as you'd like as long as it doesn't pay for tax. The other awesome thing is it rolls so you can keep using the one +Up to buy the exact same item that gets you another +Up … if there isn't a limit to how many you can get per item that is. HTHs! :D

            • Aminehdestin

It's same as cash, except it can't pay tax. You're responsible for 100% of your tax (or you're supposed to be) after +UPs and coupons. When it comes to Walgreens and their rules of one coupon/RR per item purchased, we're nothing like them. lol. You can use up to 3 coupons on each item you purchase (beginning bar code #s of “5” (OR “9”) which are reg. man. coupons, “49” which are most of the “Rite Aid” man. coupons, and “48” which are strictly store coupons) and you can use a total purchase coupon ($5/$25) and as many +UPs as you have to get you down to paying only tax. Basically, if you buy one item for $25, you can use a $5/$25 coupon, a man. coupon that starts with the number 5 [let's say it's $5 as well], a RA Video value coupon that starts with “49” [we'll pretend it's $3] and if there's an in-ad “valuable coupon” that starts with “48” [say it's $2] then you have +UPs for $2, $4, $3 & $1, you could use all of them and literally pay only tax. So whereas Walgreens says one coupon/reward per item purchased, technically at Rite Aid you could use 8 on that one item. Now, it's rare that you'll find an item with all 3 of those coupons and that you'll have something that's $25 exactly and you have $10 in +UPs, but it could happen. (maybe)

            • Brooke

I tried to use a July $1 Cottonelle and August Cottonelle and the cashier said I could only use 1. I pointed out that they were different and seeing as how they are earned coupons I should be able to use those 2 on the 1 Cottonelle like we always have. But, then I got to thinking as she said, now that it says no more than 1 48, 49 etc etc, that she might be right about that. She asked the manager and the manager said “Oh, she didn’t know”(about the cashier). BUT, I think I’ve actually seen you say on here that you can use the July and August Cottonelle on just 1 Cottonelle?

            • Brooke

I had a $5/$25 not scan through and I was wondering if it was because I also used $1/$10 skin care and maybe it booted out the $5? That hasn’t happened until recently. I think the $5 and $1 start with the same 2 numbers, 48 or 49 whichever it is, but they always went through together before… ??

            • Jessica

If you were just buying 1 package of Cottonelle, then you could only use 1 of the VV coupons. To use both, you would need to buy 2 packages.

    • Ojoemiller

hey… i need some help….im having a tough time printing the rite aid 5 off 25.00 coupon…please, if anyone has an extra coupon please mail it to joe miller,8801 raintree dr. louisville ky. 40220 thx

    • Kate

Ok, maybe a silly question, but what are the rebates referenced in this post as well as the weekly RA post? Is it a mail-in-rebate (MIR), or a single check rebate (SCR)? If it is a MIR, where do I find the info? TIA

      • Tawanda

        Kate,

Not a silly quesiton at all!. You have to sign up for a rite aid single check account, https://riteaid.rebateplus.com/. Once you have done that, you will enter your receipts, RA will automatically look to see which (if any) rebates you should receive. It will even credit you for rebates that you overlooked. HTH

      • They are SCRs #10 & #148

    • Mom of EE&I

Can't find the Garnier Cleanser / Moisturizer printable. Has anyone been able to print one?

      • Silver_britches1980

Yes I did on the video values with no problems.

    • Cwalkden

I finally found a store that had 4 cottonelle, good luck to you! My Rite Aid NEVER has their sale items in stock. I will however, go back with my coupon book because they have almost everything at 50% off right now.

      • Becky

I found a store that had 4 Cottonelle and when I got to the front to check out, she told me they were limiting it to 2 per customer until Friday when the truck comes in. But she said I could buy them in two transactions. I explained that I wanted to use a $5.00 off $25 coupon, but she said that's the only way I could do it. I asked to speak to the manager and he agreed to let me purchase the 4 Cottonelle i.n one transaction so i could use my coupon Rite Aid sure tries to make it difficult sometimes!

        • Aminehdestin

See, this is where I think I split in to an employee from most people on this site. Everyone seems to know that stores “have the right” to limit quantities, but because of the total purchase coupon no one likes it when a store tries to enforce it. If they were just limiting until truck, which is this week, I think I would have insisted on the limit being that close to 0 in store inventory, and suggested that you stop in Friday if you wanted 4 at once. We get yelled at doing it either way, we either make you happy, but deplete stock and get yelled at by the next customer who can't find one (or 4) for themselves, but saw you walk out with four (then they call and complain and we get yelled at by our DM) *OR* we don't sell you all 4, you yell because that's what you came in for, but the next customer who did come in for one (or 4 but was stuck with one) is happy because we still had one for her, then you call and complain, and we get yelled at by our DM. We get put in a touch situation there. This can't even be summed up with stores needed to order more, because we should expect the sales, I can guarantee that almost no stores expected so many people to come in to by 4 each. It's on sale so often, and I think my store my sale 18 or so in a normal sale week. Your store wasn't trying to be difficult, or make it difficult on you, they're just trying to follow the policy (cashier was told to do it, or lose her job) but when you spoke with the manager, he realized the complaint and lifted the limit. Sorry, I'm not trying to argue, I just wanted to put the store POV out as well.

          • mammaof2

It seems to me that Rite Aide would try to do a better job of stocking an “on sale” item having to know that it's going to be in high demand. They also had to know they would have some irate customers when they changed their trucks to every other week causing a long gap between restocks! This is exactly one of the reasons Rite Aide is doing poorly financially. Just saying…

            • Aminehdestin

I agree, but what I was saying is that there was no way to know that the Cottonelle was going to be so in demand. We normally have a bit of overstock in my store of stuff like Cottonelle, so we haven't run out, but I'm sure a lot of stores have because a lot of people are buying between 2 and 4, and at BEST we normally sell 18. I think that's even stretching it, because the last time it was on sale for $6.49 I think we only sold 13 and that was pretty good for us. We can't have an excessive amount of overstock, so corporate doesn't allow us to over order things like that. I agree 100% on the every other week truck issue though. It's dumb. We do try and order what we think we'll sale. It's just that predictions are commonly off. We have about 4 dozen of the Lysol soap dispensers in overstock, because we finally got what we ordered for the sales this past month, and they just haven't moved. Our next inventory, if we still have those, we'll get in trouble. It's a touchy thing.

          • Brooke

Aminehdestin, the cashier agreed to give her 4 right off the bat, but stipulated they have to be purchased 2 at a time separately(which doesn't make sense because it's limit 2 per customer but they would give her 4 as long as she did it in separate transactions). When they offered her to purchase the 4 total, she simply asked to purchase them at once, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to use her $5 off $25. They shouldn't have offered her to purchase four if they were going to dictate how she should go about purchasing it. How silly to offer it, yet stipulate she must buy it separately lol.

            • Aminehdestin

I didn’t even catch that! Now, that is just silly, I agree. If you’re limiting, it’s because you don’t have enough of the product. When we limit at my store, it’s 2 per customer (per day) but a husband can buy 2 and a wife can buy 2. We actually limit, so I am so accustomed to how we do it, that I completely overlooked that they offered her the chance to buy 4 in 2 transactions. weird.

    • Ladeeda216

I have a question, I know that the Cottonelle VV coupon says “Manufacturer's coupon”, however I thought that I read on here that you could combine a VV coupon WITH a man q. So can you not combine the 1 off VV q with the .50 cents off man q?

      • Nancy

        Yes

      • Yes. Jenny has that listed in her scenario as “Rite Aid coupon”.

      • Aminehdestin

The Video Values coupons (and most in-ad coupons for that matter) are both “Rite Aid/Manufacturer” coupons. They start with the # “49” which you can combine with a basic manufacturers coupon which normally start with the # “5” but occasionally “9”. In a rare situation you could also combine a store coupon that is *purely* a Rite Aid coupon and those start with the # “48”. So if it says manufacturer on the coupon, and has the Rite Aid logo, check the bar code. It'll start “RC49….” and go from there. The manufacturer pays the store back for those coupons, but they're considered part of the sale that is run by the store and bought by the manufacturer, so they're allowed to be combined with a regular coupon. It has to do with how companies pay to run specials… and to drive people crazy.

    • Scblackbird

Has anyone had trouble printing SmartSource coupons? I have been able to print them in the past . . no problems. Then all of a sudden, I get an error message saying I do not have sufficient privilege to validate this print attempt. Any help would be appreciated!

    • toni

I did the Garnier Nutriste skin care deal today. I bought 2 skin care (one 6.99 and one 50% off at 3.50) for a total of 10.49. Used two $2 manufacturer coupons and 2 $2 video values (one from last month and one from this month) = $2.49 oop and received two $3 up on my receipt, so $3.51 money maker.

    • Dknmiami

So what is the difference between UP's and ECB's?

      • They work basically the same way. Up's are Rite Aid's version to CVS's ECB's. Up's expire after about 2 weeks, while ECB's are good for about a month.

    • Christi

Does anyone know if they are going to have the fall gift of savings like they did last year?

      • Aminehdestin

I haven't heard anything yet. I've worked there for 2 years, and the first year we had one “gift of savings” program, and then last year we had the fall and winter savings programs, so I can't imagine they wouldn't do it again. It's a good revenue driver.

        • Ashley

I love that program. I wished and waited for them to do Spring saving program hehe!

I have looked but I don't see a VV for Garnier skin care, only hair care. Can someone help me with this? Thanks!

      • Dianne

Never mind. I found it. Sigh…

        • Martha

Under what zip code did you fin it?

          • toni

Video values is under the riteaid.com program where you watch videos for RA coupons, so no zip code.

          • toni

No zip code. VV coupon is from the Riteaid site for watching videos.

    • Marianne

I have a question regarding the Cottonelle “Box Tops for Education” SCR … I bought 4 of the 12-roll packs @ $6.49/each; however, they do not have box tops on them. Do you think they will still qualify for the Box Tops SCR? 'Hope so!!

      • Lorri

no, if they don't have the “box top” on them, they don't qualify. You only get credit for the actual “box top”s that you clip.

        • toni

Mine qualified with no box top.

        • Aminehdestin

That's for the actual “box top” collection. If you are collecting the box tops, then no, you wouldn't get credit for the packs w/out them. The rebate though, you don't have to clip anything.

      • 3monkeysmom

I don't see why the wouldn't qualify as far as the SCR goes…it's on the list of participating products. Not sure why they don't have the box-tops on them, though. The Cottonelle website and Box Tops website both say they are a participating product.

      • Aminehdestin

I think the rebate is a basic SCR, so you don't actually have to send the box tops in, just enter your receipt info on your rebate account. I may be wrong, but I can't find anything that says different, but my receipts haven't cleared yet so I don't actually know.

    • CJ

I can not get the Garnier coupon on RP. Does anybody have the zip code they used? Thanks!!

      • Jennifer R

I can't find it either! Any help would be great!

      • toni

The $2 one is gone now.

      • toni

The $2 one is gone now.

    • Becky

I went to Rite Aid and had a total of $25.10 before my manufacturers coupons, so I handed them one of my $5.00 off $25.00 coupons that I got for watching videos. I had manufacturer's coupons of $4.50. When I got home and checked my receipt I found that it took off my $4.50 in manufacturer coupons, but, even though he scanned the 5.00 off 25.00 coupon, it did not come off. Now I'm trying to figure out why? Does it have to total $25.00 AFTER manufacturer coupons? Thanks

      • mary

it has to be 25 dollars before taxes

        • Becky

Thanks for replying. It was $25.10, so it should have worked. Too late now to call them.

          • Ashley

This has happened to me 3 times in a row now with my $5 off 25's and some other vv's, but never before until now!!! I hand mine one at a time, but never heard or saw anything to show that it didn't go through. What a hassle.

      • CJ

I don't know if this is an answer, but last week I went to Rite Aid. I probably had about 10 coupons to use. I always go over my receipt when I get in the car. I notice that about 4 of my coupons never rang up. I went in right away and they were able to fix it for me. The reason for the problem I had was the register could not keep up with the cashier scanning the coupons. So now I hand them to the cashier one at a time. If you listen to the register, you can here if it scans or not. When I went this week, I could definitely hear how slow the register was with keeping up with the cashier scanning the coupons. She was watching also to make sure they scanned and it took a few seconds for each coupon. I would call them right now and have them look for your coupon because it should have your name on it if it is from the VV. Explain the situation and tell them that you have your receipt. Maybe they can fix it for you the next time you go there. I hope this helps.

        • Becky

Thanks for the tips. I'm afraid it's too late to call tonight, they're already closed at my store, but I may call tomorrow and talk to the manager and see if there's anything they can do.

          • Nancy

Yeah, I would definitely take everything back and have the manager ring everything up again. Did the register actually show the total of $25.10 before you handed over the 5/25? Let us know what happens.

        • Erin

I had a really good cashier and she did the exact same thing–just waiting til each coupon came off. Such a change from some of the cashiers I've run into recently:
Me: Did both of the X coupons come off?
Wal Mart cashier: [snottily] Yes, maam!
Then I get my receipt and see that two dollar coupons didn't come off. Agh!

      • Teri

Was your total 25.00 before tax? I think it has to be so if the 25.10 included tax that may be why it didn't work. But the cashier should have said something.

    • Julie

I tried to register on the rite aid video coupons and it keeps telling me that my validation form has failed. It did this a couple of months ago as well. My passwords match up and I haven't registered before. The help button the site is NOT helpful. Do ya'll have any suggestions? Thanks. Julie

      • Aminehdestin

Does it give you a link to email the AdPerks office? If so, try emailing them. It's technically separate from Rite Aid, so even CS wouldn't be able to help you. I had trouble signing one of my co-workers up [she doesn't have internet] so I signed her up using my second email address and it worked fine. So I'm not sure if your email address is the issue or what's going on. Try emailing them though, and see if they can help, if not, try setting up a new email address (yahoo, google, something) and see if you can register with that one.

    • naneni1

how do i get the boxtop for education rebate on my cottonee paper?.

      • Aminehdestin

I think it's the same as all SCRs from what I can tell. The only thing different with that rebate is the sweepstakes you can also enter. My receipts haven't cleared, so I'm not sure, but looking at it, it does look like a basic Rite Aid rebate. Does anyone know for sure, or any different?

    • Kb

Has anyone had problems with the vv coupons NOT printing? I just printed several, the huggies and cottonelle and NIETHER of the printed…!!!! all that came out was blank paper and now the riteaid site says Ive printed them and it wont let me do it again!!! Definetly not a good start for this rite aid newbie! any thoughts?

      • ireneY

I tried to save paper by running a second Q over the first Q sheet and they printed on top of each other… argh!!! I called CS and they suggested I email from the link from the VV site. Apparently, they can reset the Q. Have you checked the FAQ section for technical help?

      • Aminehdestin

You just have to email the ad perks office. Explain that something happened and when you tried to print your coupons on [insert date] and all of them printed except for the huggies and cottonelle. They'll reset them for you in about a day. I've had to do it twice. Once, I hadn't set my printer to black and white (I'm out of color ink) and once because something crazy happened where instead of printed 2 per line, it printed all 3 from each row on top of each other. ;-P It's never a problem to get them to reset for you.

        • Kb

          Thank you!

    • DawnCDP

Okay, just wondering if someone would look over this scenario for me. Please tell me if I'm way off on this I'm still learning and not very good at it yet:
      Trans#1
Buy (3) Huggies Jumbo Pack Diapers 8.99 each
      -Use (3) $2.50 coupons

      Total due: 13.50

      Total for both Trans.: $14.72
      Total after SCR: $10.72

      • toni

I think the UPS rewards for the Garnier are only printing for prices $6.49 and up. So check the prices of the towelettes. They were only $6.29 at my store. If you pick something for your second Garnier purchase that is more than $6.49 you will get that second $3 up reward at the end of your second transaction. Otherwise, your transactions look good. Hope everything is in stock for you.

        • DawnCDP

          Thanks so much!

        • Sonya

It worked for $6.29 items for me. I bought two of the cleansing towelettes, got $3 back for each of them.

      • AllieCouponer

You have to watch for the limits on the UP as well. There is a limit of 1 $2 UP reward on the huggies, so even if you buy 3 packages, you will still only get one $2 UP. There are alot of limit 1 in this ad on other items as well…

        • tarabj

Actually, the UPs have been printing for every package of Huggies for most people posting.

I got 6 UP for 3 packs of Huggies today.

        • Teri

I got three $2 UP rewards also for my three paks of Huggies. This has happened to me on a couple of different items!!! Not going to complain!!

        • Melissabw

I thought the limit was one too, but I have bought 4 pks of huggies this week so far and got $2 back for EACH one!

    • Jennifer

Anyone have the zip code for the Garnier in RP? Thanks!

      • kjmiller

From what I see below, it's gone.

    • Susanne

I went to Rite-Aid and purchased as below and was very surprised that two $3.00 UP rewards printed on my receipt so I paid $3.33 for two and got back $6.00 in UP rewards, a profit of $2.67.

      1 Garnier Nutrioniste Cream Scrub 6.29 (B1G1 50% off)
      1 Granier Nutrioniste Towelettes
      -Use (2) $2/off RP 8/08 for Garnier
-Use $2/off Rite Aid coupon Garnier

      Thank You Jenny

      • jjcarte1

I am having trouble getting the coupons from the Rite Aid web site. How do you select them to be printed?

        • Aminehdestin

Once you watch the videos, go to the link for “My rewards” in the top right corner, it's the middle tab, then you just click on the boxes by the coupons you want to print out, hit “print coupons” and then it'll load what the page(s) will look like w/6 per page and you hit “print”.

      • Michelle

Same thing happened with me. I wonder if this deal can be done another time, since two UP rewards printed the first time.

        • toni

          Yes, I've done it twice.

    • Shop Now

Cottonelle was 50% off today due to a coming storewide renovation in this area… $5.75 for the 12-roll pkg. So I had to buy 5 to hit the $25 mark, lol

    • blonde420

Just a heads up to all RA employees who do the coupon thing,A good freind of mine who has been an employee for over 15 yrs.just lost their job because loss pervention said in her interview that she was resaleing the large amounts of things she was buying useing coupons.she told him she bought the things when she was off the clock and they were for her own use.She was told”as an employee you are never off the clock and to participate in the excessive coupon abuse we suffer as a company you are not protecting the companies asscets”So PLEASE beware they are definately watching the wellness cards !!!!!!!!

      • ireneY

Unless they have evidence that she's done something illegal, they don't have grounds to fire her. RA “Loss Prevention” and corporate need to get with the program and see coupons as a revenue generator, not a loss. The Southern Savers are a law abiding group — there is no need for us to worry about being “watched.” Please tell your friend to stand up for herself and fight back.

        • Aminehdestin

Actually corporate has sent something out to stores to explain to employees that couponers do, in fact, bring in a lot of revenue to the stores. They spelled it out CLEARLY that coupons are to be treated with as much respect [and scrutiny] as cash. That's why I'm so shocked by the story. Coupons can be a great source of stress for employees but for the most part, as long as we watch what we're doing and follow policy ourselves, they are cash flow for the store.

          • Guest

The problem with coupons with stores is there a few bad apples out there who do not use coupons right. for example we should not be reselling products we buy as you are actually breaking a law as many items say not for resale just like coupons do not to be resold or copied. Many companies have started cracking down on people who resell their items in my area been in the news recently.

            • Aminehdestin

There are always bad apples. There will [unfortunately] always be fraud in all forms. We see *so* many fake coupons at my store. Out-and-out fake coupons. We see even more copies of manufacturer coupons. We have plenty of people who come in and try to use multiple [man.] coupons on one item. And we have many, many more who try to use coupons for items they aren't buying. That's where the employee scrutiny comes in to play. ;-) We do our best to just stay aware of what we're doing, and also what's going on elsewhere in our area and company wide. I think that as long as stores are doing their job, and don't get scared to say “no” when they have a valid question about something, coupons aren't nearly as scary as a lot of retailers and cashiers seem to think. We do have customers who come in with 20+ coupons for one thing, and they want 20+ items so that they can sell them at the flea market. There's nothing we can do as retailers to prevent them from selling, but it does suck when you hear someone talking about how much money they'll make off items. I know if you go to one flea market in Florida (which has no Rite Aids!) you'll see Rite Aid brand products left and right. That does tend to irritate me.

            • Ginger

What law says you can't buy an item legally and resell it? I don't think this is correct, with the exception of items that are specially regulated, like certain OTC drugs. Anyone can print “not for resale” on their packaging- that doesn't make it the law.

      • Aminehdestin

I've talked to my LP about coupons. He knows we all use them in my store. Even if she were buying products to resale, they can't assume that and fire her for it. As long as she's following policy, that's wrongful termination. We can [and will] be fired for misuse of coupons. They were firing people left and right for printing multiple VV coupons out. I know of one who when questioned, responded that we allow customers to use multiples, and the LP response was “but you know better”. As an employee, if you aren't punched in, you are “off the clock”. I wonder what Loss Prevention saw in her transactions that showed anything wrong?!? It's not technically the Wellness cards being watched, all transactions with a lot of coupons are “flagged” for LP to check. That's why we're so careful at my store to not allow overage and we make sure that each coupon is for items being purchased. We've had someone fired for not following the coupon policy before. Very, very interesting. Tell your friend I'm sorry that she lost her job. If that's the entire story, which I'm not inclined to think otherwise, she may need to contact a lawyer and inquire about wrongful termination in that situation.

      • Nancy

Coupons are supposed to be treated just like cash. I don't understand why so many Rite Aid employees believe otherwise. Ignorance I guess.

If it weren't for the “coupon thing” as you call it, I wouldn't have set foot in your store and purchased over $3,000 worth of merchandise this year to date. I'm just one person.

    • Gamego71

I went today and somehow messed up and didn't get $25.00 worth of Cottenelle. Do you know if it has to be $25.00 in one transaction or can I go back and buy more to get the $25.00 worth?

      • Aminehdestin

Normally the rebates that are buy $X amount of these products and get $X amount back, they are cumulative. I've never seen one that wasn't. I split mine this week, so here's hoping that it goes through.

        • Gamego71

OK. That's great news. I will go back after I do some more figuring and get some more ink for my printer!!

      • Shop Now

I had that come up today, so I figured I “return” my first purchase, and re-buy it along with other stuff to run up my receipt to $25. The cashier, who seemed pretty knowledgeable told me the rebates are cumulative within any rebate period, and it wasn't necessary to have everything on one receipt. I logged my purchases a few hours ago, so I'll see what happens.

So here's a thought… I'll ask all my friends to give me their Rite Aid receipts and I'll log them all hoping to hit a rebate, lol. Whaddayathink?

        • Gamego71

Sounds like a great idea if they weren't linked to our Wellness plus cards. I saw a receipt in the parking lot at Rite Aid and thought about grabbing it LOL.

          • Erin

They're not linked btw… you could've grabbed it

            • Coupacoupon

that doesn't feel totally right and fair… i mean, don't we want Rite Aid to stay in business and keep giving us these great deals? They aren't doing so hot financially, and to be honest I hold my breath everytime I cash a SCR hoping that it clears…

            • Erin

Would Rite Aid go out of business had that individual decided to keep his receipt and participate in the SCR program? No. I do not think Rite Aid will go out of business if she uses his receipt to file the SCR when he would have been doing the same thing HAD he wanted to. Let's not overdramatize where it's not necessary, or maybe by chane you are not understanding something correctly.

            • Aminehdestin

I don't think there's anything wrong with collecting a few receipts from friends who don't do the rebates. If the company thinks otherwise, they will start linking them to Wellness cards. I'm not sure how the corporation actually feels about it though. I agree with Erin though, one person using all the receipts in a group of people and getting one rebate check is no different than all 5 people doing the rebates. It'll cost the same in the end. Actually, sometimes less because all 5 people could buy the same items, but w/a limit of one, there are 4 rebates not being paid out.

    • Risininhim

Hi I know that some of you are aware of all the clearance sales at rite-aid going on right now.I have already gotten so much FREE stuff randomly,I have not even went back in on purpose with a list or coupons. For example I just got bengay cream and tylenol Precise pads bc they were marked 50% off and there is an in ad cpn for $3.00 off.oh yeah I got free mouthwash with a $2.00 off crest Q and the clearance(with my overage from above) I am so excited!

    • ireneY

Holy cow, what a great deal! I got 2 Cottonelle, 1 Depends. Used 2 $1 Cottonelle VV (1 from last month?), $.50 IP and $1 Cottonelle MQ from mailer, $3 Depends MQ from mailer, $2 Depends VV and $5/$25 VV. My total was $13.75 and expecting $14 in SCR rebates! At last, FREE TP!!!!

    • jenr

I wasn't really sure where to post this, but i was just at walmart and they have all of there 2 piece pj sets for kids (sizes 0-5T) on sale for $1. They had a lot left of all sizes girls and boys except for the 5T's (i think i took the last 3). They are the 2 piece sets that are in the hanging boxes (dora, toy story, cars, spongebob, airplanes, disney princess…) Also, if you still have the $3 off coupon, the lysol no touch hand dispensers are still $6. I got one and love it. I even refilled it myself w/ softsoap and it still works great:) (I did have to pop the lid off w/a knife, but it worked and will save me some $$$)

      • Amy

I refill my Lysol soap dispenser too because the refills are so expensive. I love it and will never be able to go back to the old hands-on dispensers. I only fill up the dispenser about 2/3 of the way and add distilled water to top it off, and then I shake it up really well to mix the two. This helps the soap go much further.

        • Aminehdestin

In 2 weeks the dispensers are going 50% off again at Rite Aid. So they'll be $6.99, but there's a VV (I think next month) for $1 so for a week we'll have Walmart beat by an entire $.01 (for one). lol.

    • tarheelbaby1

I just did the Cottonelle deal but had to get two packs of regular Cottonelle and two packs of the “Ultra” Soft because they were out of the regular. I'm trying to quality for the $5 Kimberly Clarke SCR and the $5 Box Tops for Education SCR. The Box Tops for Education SCR lists “Cottonelle Bath” generically so I just assumed all types qualify, but my packages don't actually have the Box Tops for Education mark on them (the regular ones do). Is there a chance my SCR won't go through? Grr…that's the only reason I am storing so much TP, so I hope it works!

      • Aminehdestin

I think it'll be fine, because you don't actually need the box tops for the rebate. It's just a basic Rite Aid Single Check Rebate.

        • tarheelbaby1

          Thanks. I hope so!

      • Alslaughter2

Are you the one from Manchester?

        • tarheelbaby1

          No, I'm in Charlotte, NC.

      • tarheelbaby1

This worked just fine in case anyone else is wondering. No issues with the fact that some packages were marked with the Boxtops and others weren't.

        • Gunter00

Did you just list your receipt on RA SCR and it took care of both rebates? I'm going tomorrow to buy mine.

          • tarheelbaby1

Yes, I just input my receipt and was credited both SCR#10 and SCR#148 automatically.

    • Not one comment on here about the Kendall AMD gauze stuff. Amazing! Has anyone actually found this for $2.50? It’s $4.99 at my store and I searched through the long ad (I’m in a short ad area but they will price match to long ad) online but didnt’ see it. I COULD have missed it in there but otherwise, does anyone know? I did buy one for 4.99 as it was still a good deal with the 2.50 mq and the $2 VV q from JUne maybe? BUT they the register kicked out the MQ- wouldn’t take it. The awesome manager at my store wasn’t in though so I had to leave without using my q. Will go back in with it but am just wondering if anyone else had a problem with it? I tried both the 2.50 and the 2 ones- both from reputable sites- allyou and coupons.com so I wondering if they are coded wrong somehow? I bought the product IN THE PICTURE. My VV q went through no problem.

      • Aminehdestin

From what I can tell, the Kendall isn't in the long ad. I went through it 3X looking. It may be a TPR (month long, unadvertised sale) and Jenny just saw it when she went in her store, and b/c of the coupon thought she should put it up so everyone knows. Maybe? Sorry I'm not working, or I'd look for you. I'm also not sure about the coupon not going through, but since you did buy it yesterday w/out using the coupon, if you take it in w/your receipt, they should be willing to do a post coupon for you. The register won't refuse it then because it doesn't know the item. For whatever reason, the coupon may be miscoded (either a UPC being left out when it was entered in the system, or they keyed it in wrong) or the bar code could've been coded wrong (the actual scannable bar code is sometimes keyed in wrong), so next time see if they type the first 11 digits of the UPC if it takes it then. At least if it refuses it then you'll know that the man. actually entered the item numbers wrong.

        • Thank you. I was surprised that on one else commented on not finding it but maybe they have! Also, with the coupon not working for me, if it IS a coding issue, it shouldn't work for anyone. I will take it back in and see if I can get a post coupon credit for it. They had to do that for me twice last week when I forgot 2 coupons.

          • Robroy207

It was on sale at my Rite Aid for 2.50 and I used the coupon with no problems…YAY. I have two boys and definitely need all the first aid products I can get! My store did have it tagged with a yellow tag stating the sale price..I live outside of SAV..hope it helps.

          • Smartblonde

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere on another site that the coupon is coded 00 which means it will ask the cashier to type in the price of the coupon. So, all your cashier should have to do is type in $2.50. I don't work for Rite Aid, not even sure this make sense to anyone that does, but it's what I read.

      • Catherine

I bought the Kendall and the coupon beeped $0, so the cashier typed in $2 for each one I got. My store is a short ad but will honor the long ad. I just show her and she honors everything. She said it keeps me shopping in her store and saves me the gas to drive to the bigger store.

    • TheChapleigh

      QUESTIONS:
      1. WHERE do I get this clip & save booklet???
      2. Does the SCR#10 for BoxTop $5.oo back NOT include the jumbo pack diapers since it says “Big Pack Diapers” on the Aug SCR booklet? Apparently this rebate is cumulative, as I see some previous buys on Ziploc items from last week, however, which is good!

      COUPON!!
Check inside your jeans huggies to find a $2.oo off Q for LIttle movers… :)

      • Val

        1) The clip and save booklet is supposed to be given to customers who receive a flu shot. However, some stores don't give out flu shots so they went ahead and just placed the booklets out for anyone to grab. There were also stores who didn't know what they were for and just placed them out for anyone to grab. Inquire at your own Rite Aid.
        2) No, jumbo and big pack of diapers are different so it's not included in the rebate.
        Hope this helps :)

    • Can't find the garnier moisture cleanser coupon – Is there a certain zip code for this coupons?

Question (and this may be a silly one), does Rite Aid not accept multiple VV coupons anymore? For instance, in the Cottonelle situation above could I not buy 4 packs of Cottonelle and use 4 $1 VV coupons? I ask because in past scenarios Jenny has listed multiple VV's but in this one she only listed the use of one.

The new RA coupon policy states the following in regards to accepting multiple identical coupons:

      · Rite Aid may accept multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers within the store manager's sole discretion.

I know someone who recently went to RA to purchase the Cottonelle toilet paper and the cashier would only accept one (she had 4) of the VV coupons. The register was rejecting the rest of them and the cashier stated it was because the coupon said one per customer. Has anyone else had this issue? This has never been a problem before. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It was always supposed to be one per customer, the Ad Perks system (the company who runs Video Values) just updated to actually enforce it though. You can only print one of each, setting your printer to do multiples is actually considered copying coupons, so instead of putting it on the cashiers to refuse the coupons (accuse customers of what is in essence fraud), they've made each coupon print out with unique bar codes. Once that bar code has been scanned, if you try to use it again, the register will actually beep and say “coupon already used” or “coupon already used with this Wellness card” or something along those lines. As an employee, I'm happy that the made them unique to your VV account, because we did turn people away using multiples, and it angered a lot of people because other stores didn't. We still aren't sure if we were being paid back for the multiples, but my guess is that we were because they're man. coupons (with a store logo), but we were really just trying to make sure the program wasn't abused because my entire store *likes* the program. :-)

Great, thanks so much for clearing that up for me. I've seen your comments here and on other sites. Thanks for your assistance with keeping us all honest.

Aminehdestin! Help! I'm getting very antsy trying to put together some scenarios for next week's sale. I have some questions to ask you. :)

On BOGO50% off specials…I see that the Olay Regenerist is listed next week. How does the register break this down? Is it regular price on first product (and therefore 20% off with my discount), or does it break it down some other way? I already know the half price item will be the one of equal or lesser value.

Also…if I purchase $50 of this product I get $15.00 in UP's. Is the $50 before or after the BOGO50% discounts? I think I kinda already know the answer…it's probably going to be after the discounts. It's okay, though. I have a ton of those $5.00 off any Olay coupons, so I need to use them up somehow before they expire.

You should get paid to answer all of our questions (or at least get a Starbucks Gift Certificate for all your troubles!). ;)

I don't work at Rite Aid, but I can answer your question because I shop there alot and I have seen on my receipts how the register rings things up. I also watch as they scan to make sure items due ring up correctly.

In my experience, this is how it is going to happen: When an item is Buy One get One 50% off, the register doesn't give you your 20% (or 10%) discount because the 50% discount is better. When they ring up the first Olay, it will ring up with the 20% discount, but when you buy the second item, the register realizes this is a better discount and the first item goes back to 0% off and the second item rings up 50% off. Does this make sense?

And yes, the $50 toward the UPS rewards is based on actual price rung up at the register which will be the regular price on one and the 50% off price on the second.

        • pfsinnh

Thank you so much! I love having the 20% discount, but sometimes it's hard to figure things out with it. Thanks for clarifying. :)

          • toni

I'm only at 10% but can't wait until I hit that 20% mark. Congrats to you for getting it so fast. That's awesome.

            • pfsinnh

Yes, once you get it, you never want to go back to any of the other stores! :)

      • Aminehdestin

Toni is spot on with the answer below. I actually tried ringing something up when there was a total purchase amount to get a +UP, when the items were BOGO free, and you do have to spend that amount. The subtotal isn't taken in to consideration there. I'm gonna stop in my store either today or tomorrow and I'll look at the Regenerist shelves (if I can remember) to get decent price points so that you can really set your shopping list in stone before Sunday. And it really isn't a problem for me to answer a couple of questions. It takes a couple of minutes out of my day, and believe me, it's a welcome break.

        • pfsinnh

Thank you so much. I went to my local RA yesterday to check the regenerist prices…very pricey stuff! So this sale will bring those prices down considerably.

I'm working on a $5 Money Maker scenario for the “Buy $50 Worth, Get 15UP's” deal on the back page of next week's circular.

          • Aminehdestin

Nice on the MM. Do you know what the prices were? I know the most expensive at my store is $29.99 and I know there are a lot @ $19.99. I'm trying to picture the packages though before I say there are also $14.99 and $9.99 products. I know there are some $7.99 Olay cleansers but I don't know if they're regenerist products or not. I do have to stop in and get a prescription though, which is why I'm gonna glance at the prices while I'm there.

            • pfsinnh

Yes, the regenerist packages are black with red inside the packaging (I believe). And you are right, the most expensive in the group is around $29.99. The other Olay product in the deal is the Olay Complete line, which is less expensive.
Thanks again for all you do!

        • Aminehdestin

Alright so here goes. I stopped in and looked at the Regenerist line of Olay. Most of them are either $29.99 or $19.99. I saw 2 in my store at $14.99 and I think one each at $9.99 and $7.99. The $7.99 is a cleanser and was the very first product on that shelf. I wish I'd known about the BOGO 50% sale and the $5 coupons on Monday so I could've suggested ordering up on the cheaper ones at least. We normally only keep 2 [MAYBE 3] of each on the shelf at any given time because they're slow movers and do expire. Hope the price points help you all work your scenarios.

    • gip1047

Does anyone know if the refills(free when you buy the Arm & Hammmer Spin Brush) count in the total $30 for the $5 UP?

      • pfsinnh

        They do not.

    • Nancybgood14

I did the tp transaction today. but i do not see my ticket saying rebate avalible.
I put it in anyways but have a felling i will have to buy more products. i do not understand. this time.

      • Aminehdestin

Do the receipts normally say that rebates are available? I've never noticed that and don't have any by me that I can check. Weird. If you bought 4 of the Cottonelle 12 packs though, you shouldn't need to purchase any more because that hits the $25.

        • Nancybgood14

ok i feel better. I entered my receipt and will hope for the best. thanks

      • tarheelbaby1

My receipts don't say anything about SCRs I've qualified for.

      • Lane

Your receipts will not reference your rebates. After you enter your receipts online, you will receive an email within a few days indicating that your rebate information has been updated. You can then verify that you qualified for the rebates.

    • Starr

Does anyone know where it shows that the Garnier stuff is B1G1 50% off? My RA says it isn't so and I can't find in in my add. It has Loreal like that this week.

      • Aminehdestin

If you have the short ad, it's not in there, but if you have the regular (long) ad it's on Pg.5 just under the Tone body wash. If you are in the short ad area, if you print out the sale ad, the store should price match the BOGO 50%, but it seems to be sporadic with whether or not they also match the +UP. If they do though, it won't be a MM for you because they'd only adjust for one +UP [the ad states limit one per household even though we know it's been printing more]. So 2 @$6.49 would be $9.73 minus the $3 reward = $6.73 then (2) $2 man. coupons and (1) $2 Video Values coupon you'd pay $.73 OOP. Again, stores seem to vary on whether or not they match the reward price or not though.

New to Rite aid and have questions – please help
1.Can I use video coupons and mnfcr coupon
      2.Can I use a 5.00 from coupons.com and a 5.00 for watching 20 videos together
My scenario that I have worked up is
      1 (goodnight) 8.99
      2 (huggies) 17.98
      3 (mnfctr coupons) -6.00
      2 video coupons(pullups and goodnights) -4.00
      1 5.00 off 25.00
      Total oop = 11.97
I would like to include the other 5 off of 25 if I can.
Can anyone give details of rebate for huggies mentioned in other post?
I am a CVS girl but want to give this a try. I love this site and the advice offered.

      • Nancybgood14

you can only use 5off 25 once per transaction. and make sure you hand it first to the cashier before the other qs. hth

      • Lovemejc

My Rite aid lets me use as many as I want per transaction. Until the total is below 25.

Why is my All You coupon $5 off $10 ?

      • Ashowers64

        Same here…

    • Acdugger

I ended up going last night and got some great deals–ending up paying $5.58 for the 4 packages of TP–should have been $4.58 but for some reason on of my coupons was scanned. I think I ended up paying $.006 per sheet. Jenny, didn't you say $.02 per sheet was a good deal for TP?
