where do you get the P&G have you tried this yet booklet?

      • Ladybugpam

Just to clear up all the confusion, I’d like to jump in here and say that there are two P&G booklets out and they are getting confused with each other.
        There is:
        1. The Have You Tried This Yet Booklet which you got by going on the P&G site-www.pgeverydaysolutions.com-and requesting samples or coupons for items you wanted to try. I don’t believe this is available anymore, there is a new promo for head and shoulders samples up now. Don’t worry, though, I was informed by customer service over the phone that there are new offers every quarter, so you will have another one coming soon! I would suggest requesting ALL of the samples and coupons available b/c even if it’s not something you want for yourself, you can always give it to someone:) or the coupons might end up being a moneymaker at the drugstores.

        Then there is:
        2. The $110 coupon booklet which you got by sending in your receipts from buying P&G products totaling $50 BEFORE coupons(so you should have only paid about $15 or so w/all the great drugstore deals!). The rebate was printed from http://www.pgeverydaysolutions.com. You had to have your receipts sent in by 12/31/10, therefore no longer available, but it is an AWESOME coupon book and I hope they run that offer again for all of you who missed it. Regardless, GO TO http://www.pgeverydaysolutions.com and become a member b/c that is a VERY important part of being a couponer!!! They also have ecoupons available that you can load onto your grocery store card and STACK w/paper q’s for GREAT deals:D

p.s. sorry for the novel, Jenny! HTH!

      • Dealsfor2

i was about to ask the same thing. i've been on the p&g website, but no couldn't find where to get the book.

        • Audra

I received it in December from the 2010 mail-in-rebate.

        • Rachel

u had to send for it and it is over. You had t osend by december 31 2010. U had to spend 50 in pandg products after qs.

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Rebate booklet, from what I hear from other posts. If you don't have it you can't get it. Deal ended in December. (If this is same one as other posts.)

      • $avin'some$

have you tried this booklet is not the mail-in-rebate booklet that ended in decemeber. i'm not sure where you DO get it, though.

        • 21 YrOldCouponer

Yes, my bad, did a little more reading. Most consensus is it is a newspaper insert from somewhere in October…

          • Sis2

No, it was a booklet that was distributed through the mail.

      • It was a home mailer that P&G sent around thanksgiving.

      • Raj

mostly $1 coupons … although, there were around 3 Gain coupons which were nice … RA sometimes has Gain on sale for 89 cents and $1 coupon makes it free. Otherwise, there isn’t much.

    • Traci

I was in Rite Aid every week all last fall and since December I rarely go in anymore. I wish they would bring back the good deals that they had. Anyone else agree?

      • katie

I dunno… all the free Special K I got this week was pretty good to me. :)

        • Raj

n1 – the cashier at Rite AId would’t honor the Special K b/c it was already B1G1 … I didn’t want to argue and didn’t have the RA policy on me … so, I let it go … goes back to a prior point I made a couple of weeks ago … disappointing when the cashier’s don’t know their own store coupon policy, and we know it better … anyway enjoy the cereal Katie !

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

No… Last week profited $14 in UP+. (And got 40 Motrin PM, 4 Special K, 2 Tylenol Precise heating pads [Which I think are better than Thermacare])

I think I will dump them into diapers this week. Not a great deal, but not much else is tickling me.

        • Ashley

Did you say you got 40 Motrin PM? My goodness… seems like you would've broke even, if that, rather than gain profits after paying the taxes and buying those coupons.

          • Sue

Here in Ny there is no tax on the motrin, I paid 13.50 for the 60 I bought, used only 20 so far and made $80 – 13.50 = $66.50 I would say it was worth it.

            • Ashley

Neato on the tax for you. Did you pre-order with Rite Aid then? How else to find 120 motrins in stock for your q's..

            • Sue

I only bought 40 used 20 coupons, I didn't clear any shelves, I still have 40, they don't expire soon, there will be another sale. If not I still made $66.

@ Sis2 —– My RA is very well stocked, I let my manager know what the up coming hot coupon deals will be, so she is prepared. I do most of my shopping there but I also shop 3 stores driving all over town, just so that I don't clear shelves, don't assume just because I bought 40 I clear shelves. You really shouldn't be hating, try being nice to your managers.

            • Raj

nice find ! what are you going to do with all that Motrin now ?

            • Sue

Giving it to family who use it.

            • Sis2

Glad you're in NY and I'm not shopping behind you. Girl in front of me in RA in McDonough GA cleared the shelf of all the Motrin pm right as I turned the corner. Bummer. I hate shelf clearers.

            • Raj

lol – you could have asked for a manger ? lol – sorry to hear that !

          • Rachel

each q was a 4mm. She had to buy 20 qs at about 20 cents each. So it jsut depends what u think it is worth. I did that once and now have to much of an item I won't use. So for me my new years resolution is to buy in bulk something I will use only. I jsut don't have the space.

      • Matt

I love Rite Aid……..had a small week this week, but the day after xmas I went nuts. Was more than halfway to the $100/20 and I never even knew about the promotion

      • Bryarsmom

WOW! And I was just telling DH how my love for CVS has lessened with all the free stuff & MM's I've been bringing home from RA lately!
I've got 70 Up's in my pocket right now.
This week has been a killer-all the Tylenols & Motrins-got 8 each of 'em, and probably a good 12 boxes Special K and oodles of the Stayfree, stacking Q's.
Oh, and how can I forget the Hormel Completes? I got in when the deal was red hot! A FAB week at RA!!!

        • Raj

lol – imagine if you worked at the store and got first dibs … do you have room for all of this lol

      • Raj

wow, there are a number of items stilla vailable … come on, you have to pay for stuff sometimes, right ??

Vitamins free this week … paper free this week … Tom's 99 cents … video value rewards … a couple of SCR's in a couple of weeks coming up …… what else more do you want ? you need a hug ? j/k

    • Courtney

not pulling up clearsil when i click on the coupon for it

    • Matt

Not able to find the Vaseline Intensive Care or the Clearasil coupons…..

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Aww. I don't see Clearasil coupon either. Darn. Was planning to surprise the DW… She loves when I bring her anything face… Especially wipes!

      • 21 YrOldCouponer

Awesome… Back up, at least Clearasil!

    • Courtney

not sure also if its included in the sale but there is a vv coupon for 3/2 dixie ultra plates

    • Mjclark1977

For the Halls, there is a Rite Aid video value coupon for .50 cents off any 30ct. Should make them free and you can save an up for the next transaction?

    • Shaunascoupons

I am so glad you reminded us about the $20 +UP WYB $100 in participating products ending soon. I scanned the list and couldn't find enough of things I wanted so I went back to the previous ad that is running until Saturday and found a few more things to get me up to $100.

      Thanks!!!

    • Cubsrock7

well good i found a few things to use all my sharpie up rewards on

    • Ashley

Has anyone else had problems with the resolution rewards? Mine are not totalling my purchases. It just says at the bottom what I purchased at that time. I called CS and she said she couldn't tell me my total or do anything about it. I might have even passed the amount and now am out 20 bucks. I haven't saved every receipt from the last three weeks. Even if I wanted to, I would have to tear off the ups which would disconnect the bottom total to the top which proves the date. Any suggestions??? Thanks!

      • wolverinehokie

The totals that print have not been correct, but as far as I can tell, when you actually hit the $100, the +UP is printing without a problem. You could attempt to buy something that is $1 that counts and see if it prints your total. I got my reward last week and now every time I buy something that would have counted, something prints saying “you have already gotten your reward”, so as long as that is not printing, you probably have not reached your $100.

I recommend doing the Special K deal if you haven't already since it's still a money maker and it counts do the reward.

      • Bryarsmom

        Mine went very smoothly.
        I recv'd it over a week ago.

      • Katkoupon

Mine took about 4 days to catch up, then I got an e-mail telling me that I was on my way…and had the correct total to that point. My next visit I met the requirement and printed out correctly. I hope yours catches up, if it hasn't after 4-5 days, I would def call them back. hth and good luck!

      • Katkoupon

Thanks to everyone who replied. Mine finally caught up and I drove to another Riteaid to finish my deals with the sharpies. Got my 20 :)

    • angela

my RA cashier said there would be a new “winter rewards” program beginning after resolution rewards ends. i think these make up for the old $5/25 they don't give anymore!

    • Bryarsmom

      Ugh-week looks dead.
I want more free stuff LOL!

      • Rachel

umm free viactive, facial tissue, tp and vitiamins isn't enough? Close to free zantac and maalox too.

        • Raj

          Tom's stuff too … 99 cents isn't that low price for Tom's ?

        • heather

What maalox are you talking about? I don't see that.

    • Jessheartscoupons

Is anyone else's RA being remodeled? I noticed a ton of stuff was on clearance for 25-50% a couple of weeks ago, and when I made it back in there today, a ton of the products I was looking for tat were supposed to be on sale are no longer being carried. :(

      • Ashley

It's not a remodel… that's a fib. They are converting to Save A Lot/ Rite Aid Pharmacy many places now.

    • DianaY19

JENNY – could you come up with some scenarios to help complete the $100 resolutions reward. I'm about 1/2 way and want to most bang for my bucks. Thanks!!

      • Lovescoupons

I would be interested in this as well. I am just over the 1/2 way mark.

        • Courtney

me too, though im at 80

          • Dianne

If you can go tonight or tomorrow, try this deal:
Buy two 8 packs of Sharpie pens…look for the 8 pack that has another 8 pack attached for free…plus buy 1 single Sharpie pen. Pay $8.99/$4.49 (50% off on second 8 pack)/$1.89. Total before taxes will be just over $15 and you will receive three UP rewards, two for $4 and one for $5 ($13 total). The full $15+ will be applied towards your resolution reward.

            • Courtney

hm thank you I may just try that :) hope they still have sharipie at the one near the house hehe

            • Raj

n1 … but, why not spend an additional $4.63 and you can use a 4/20 beauty coupon ? so, basically receive 4.63 in products for 63 cents additional oop !

            • Courtney

i used the 4/20 last week so I don't have it this week, I do have 11 ups though. and another 10 coming in the mail where they messed it up last week with the avveno thing

            • Dawn

I did this deal! ;p I bought the extra Sharpie single though, since it was half off and we loose them like crazy here! The one RA had the double packs, the other one didn't (since I went to two different ones so I wouldn't clear shelves with my special K and Stayfree deals!)

          • Raj

hmmm … at $80 … even if you can't find anything, buying $20 w/o coupons would give you $20 UP … so, like free … you can use the video value for 4/20 and you are ahead now. so, it is worth it for sure to spend $20 if you live close to a Rite Aid. if you need $50, I guess Jenny will have to help :)

            • Mdavis1205

I think your problem may be is that you are + ups at the time of the sale. Whenever I used them the sale did not count towards resolution reward. Not sure if that is oroblem, but as anyone noticed this. When I stopped using the +ups, (R/A coupons and man, coupons) were ok to use. I shop for myself and my grandmother and we both received our rewards.

            • Raj

hmmm … that doesn't sound right to me … I think the the system doesn't care if you used a coupon or the item was on sale. I think a running total is kept based on the price of the item (before coupons and Up awards). I know some ppl here have hit $100, and I'm fairly certain they have rolled over Up awards and included many coupons. I have also scene scenarios where people are buying sharpies and receiving a number of Up awards for buying Sharpies (B1G1/2 and awards for hitting $15 in the same purchase) and/or buying Kellogg's Special K (B1G1 and B1G1 manuf coupon … so, net is 2 free cerials per coupon) … and, both the sharpies and SpecialK have contributed to their Resolutins Reward. In fact , see the post below – the person recommends buying Sharpies Pens to pick up $15 in resol. award … to take that a step further, one could buy the Special K Cerial for 4.49 and receive Special K Cerial … that would be like 19..86 in rewards … so, spend another 14 cents and you hit the 20Up award and can also use a 4/20 coupon.

        • Dawn

Does the P&G count towards the $100? I still am not sure how they are figuring their totals, is it after any Ups generated? So you'd get $20 towards it (assuming the P&G qualifies)

      • Cheryl

the free TP and tissues count towards the resolutions reward….AND there seems to be no limit….AND…I bought 10 tissue boxes and received not only 10 $1+UP rewards, but also a $3+UP mystery reward. It's like the trifectca of deals!!! LOL

        • melly

i read on one of the other blogs thats there was a potential for recieve 3 ups when you purshased $10 in tp/ tissue

    • shaz

I'm confused how to get up to the $100 this time?I am up to $30 it says on my slip any ideas for this week anyone? help

      • Ashley

7up, ricola(free), zantac(.99 each), advil, hershey's/cadbury bars, uncle ben rice, sundown vitamins(b1g1), glade plugin, renuzit, dixe plates… these are all buy and save items this week… good luck

        • Rachel

maalox 5 off q and then 2scr makes a little moneymaker and counts buy and save. Also the excedrin free qs request my mail count too.

    • bibi

Does any body know where to get the $110 booklet, am I over looking the talking about it?

      • Aimee

This was an offer back in October (I think) in the Proctor & Gamble coupon insert. If you bought $50 in Proctor & Gamble product, you could turn in your receipts to the company and they would mail this booklet in to you. You had to show proof that you bought that much and there was a paper to fill out in the coupon insert. Hope that helped you…

      • Cmskelton

The deal has expired now….look for it again in the future (it gave some awesome coupons!!!)

      • Sis2

Expired yesterday. Purchases could be made up to 12/31/10 but had to be postmarked by 1/14/11.

    • bibi

Can we get more then one $100 ups at RA?

      • Amy

If you are talking about the $20 +UP wyb $100 of participating products, no. My receipt now says that I have already earned my $20 of Resolution Rewards. Would have been nice though!

    • Cristenna03

Publix has a coupon machine by the Hormel Complete meals. With the sale Rite Aid has on them which is 1.99 then a 1.00 back in Rewards….if you happen to have a coupon from Publix (1.00 off 2) then that makes each Hormel Meal 50 cents!!!

    • Katward

Hi from SoCal! Our deal starts today so I just went for the free toilet paper and tissues. The deal is rolling and I purchased 20 items (a combo of tissues and toilet paper) per transaction and did four transactions. For less than a dollar out of pocket I should hopefully have enough for the year!

      • Wog703

sounds like you cleared the shelves. guess you didn't leave any for anyone else.

        • Raj

that was funny ! really, how did that math work though … 20 items = $20 … Calif tax is nearly 10 percent …. so, it should have been close to $2 x4 = $8 oop ??

          • Katward

I'm in Los Angeles and there are a ridiculous number of stores within 5 miles of me, so yes I made a small dent in one store but nothing my household will not use. There seems to be plenty to go around!

FYI…buying 10 tissues is a 3 money maker! I got 10 of the 1UP AND a 3UP! Think it is one of the monthly deals ending on 1/22

            • Raj

oh, which tissue btw ? there are 3 types. so, any of the 3 would kick in the 3up ?

            • Starbucksgirl

Katward, don't sweat it. You didn't do anything wrong.

People will always make judgements on what is right and wrong without knowledge. Some couponers shop for several families and then divide their goods. Some couponers have large families. Some couponers stock up because they are low on items. Some couponers just want to buy a large quantity. There is nothing wrong with any of these scenarios.

There's a little thing called a rain check that is available at every single Rite-Aid. Many of the folks that post here make inflammatory statements.

              Congrats on the great deal!

    • Danagee

Any idea if we can do the Sharpie deal twice?

      • Ashley

        I did it twice.

    • Rachel

I need help finding the mac and cheese printable q where do u go on the site?

    • Clarkcreations

What is going on with the SmartSource printer?? I hit print and then a notice comes up that I dont have the application installed but it never gives me the option to install it and I have always printed SmartSource stuff before. Tthen even though I dont get to print the coupon it still will say I have reached my print limit!!! This is enough to make someone crazy, especially when I need those Zantac coupons!! Does anyone have any suggestions? The web site says to just hit print and if the application is not installed on your computer it will give you the option to install it, well it doesnt!!

      • mrsmadayar

I had problems with Smart Source on my old computer. I never figured out what was causing all my problems, but the solution was to log in as a different user on the computer. Anytime I had to print SS stuff I would log in as my husband. I'm assuming there was some sort of corrupted file that was only associated with my user account that caused all the trouble. Anyway, maybe try something like that if you don't have access to a second computer.

        • Dawn

I’ve been having issues too. Thought once I upgraded all my problems were over, ha! I cannot print with Chrome and Coupons.com if it is an individual coupon link that goes directly to the product print page (like the links abouve, or any FB coupons.com coupons) It keeps telling me I have to select the default printer and not save copies (I did, and I’m not) I have to copy paste into IE to print those, but I can print from the main coupons.com site!
I’m also having issues where it sends it to the printer, but nothing ever happens, nothing prints and IE kinda crashes? I lost a couple prints today, because of course when you try again, it says you printed it. Sigh.
I suppose its better then not being able to print anything before I updated!

      • Cmskelton

I am having the same problem as you!!! If someone knows the solution to this problem, I would love to know it!

      • Danielle

I had this problem last week and I had to install an updated version of Java. I uninstalled the Java I had and downloaded an updated version. After I restarted my computer all my coupon sited printed fine. Hope this helps!

    • Fallaya

Doesn't look too promising this week. Will take advantage of the free toilet paper and the BOGO Dixie plates.

    • Syndilew

If you already have the Resolution Reward, would you guys hold it until next week when the new reward program kicks in to use towards that reward or would you use it this week. I have two different scenarios that leave me at the end with trading in my 20+ and leaving still with 14+ and then still having 8+? I am trying to decide which way to hold it. Some of the stuff I need but most of it I don't.

      • Sdavisva

I'm going to hold my $20 UP for the next reward program (if it doesn't expire first). I have a bunch of the $1 food Ups and other randoms that I can use for next week. I have trouble hitting the $100 or $50 marks unless I have gift certificates or large UPs. For the latest promotion, I had my $20 allergey reward and my $20 gift of savings – otherwise I don't think I could have hit the $100 mark without spending cash.

    • MelindaF.

COUPONERS: Let's be considerate of other customers by NOT clearing the shelves!! You don't need to purchase 80 packages of toilet paper just because they are free this week (after +up rewards). Don't be greedy.

      • lisa

I thought you could only get one UP per item per card. Do you really know someone with 80 CARDS!

        • lisa

My store manager also will not let one shopper clear the shelves.

          • Ashley

No, you can get more than one… People do it all the time. And I'd say she was probably exaggerating a little with the eighty, but there are people that would buy 80 of them.

            • Sweety Pie32

Actually, there was someone that posted last night that said they did 4 toilet paper/facial tissue transactions, and purchased 20 items per transaction… 20 x 4 = 80 free items. I think that is totally wrong, and it makes couponers look bad.

        • Sis2

Sorry, Lisa, that isn't correct. Most up deals are unlimited, so you CAN get 80 with one card (but please don't)!

    • Katiekittie18

I saw on another site that you could get the Lysol No Touch soap dispenser at Walgreen's with an end price of $1.99. Anyone know if the Rite Aid deal liststed here is better?

    • Katiekittie18

Can you get rain checks at rite aid?

      • Mel

You bet! If there's an UP reward involved, make sure they write that on there (or clip the ad and staple to the raincheck). The UP won't print later, but they're supposed to deduct the UP from the price when you redeem your raincheck. So if something was $5 with a $1 UP, they should just charge you $4 for it. The only problem this causes are times when it would have been a money maker after coupons and UPs.

        • Info

Is this written in the Rite Aid policy b/c my Rite Aid won't do anything with UP rewards on rainchecks.

    • Tamiller

On my last trip to Rite Aid I had a $1.00 coupon for a bottle of Gain Dish Detergent that was on sale for 89 cents. The clerk refused to take the coupon because she said the home office has issued a statement that they are not to take coupons that are for more that the sale price. This is the first time I have had this problem. I checked their policies and it does say they do not take coupons over the price of the item. Is this a change from last year? Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Reymannkids

I used three of those coupons on the same deal last week with no problem.

        • Larbars

I've done that same deal without a problem. Give them the couple after they've wrung up all your items, then they won't know.

          • Larbars

*coupon Haha! I've been working on a wedding video all morning, so that's why my fingers spat out “couple.”

          • lilliebelle

This would be an example of “stealing” from the store. Using coupons in a way that you KNOW is against the stores policies and doing it in a sneaky way to try and get away with it. Yes, sometimes the cashier will not notice and accept the coupon but it is still wrong, and can lead to the cashier getting in trouble for something you would be getting FREE anyway if you just followed the rules.

      • Debbiecake

I had that same thing happen coupon was for a $1 Gain was 89 cents…..My Rite Aid took it but reduced the value of it to 89 cents. I had 3 of them……and some how in the process I was buying other things they only took 2 of the coupons so missed out on one of them. :( I chalked it up to I get a lot of great deals there so I will just hush up….hehe

      • melly

i only started couponing in aug but the coupon policy i carry with me states that they will take the coupon if more then the sale price the will accept it they just adjust it down.

      • Laura

same thing happened to me today

    • Wjtcannon

Does anyone know where to find the P&G “Have You Tried This Yet” booklet?

      • meme

It was a promotion where you had to buy a certain amount of P&G products and send in a rebate form. P&G has these offers fairly regularly so watch this site for notices of a new rebate offer.

      • Actually, that booklet is on their website. You have to request it and they will mail it to you.

    • Reymannkids

It sounds like some people have already shopped these deals. Does the rite sale start on Saturday or Sunday?

      • sis2

        Sunday

      • stephanie

I live in soutrhern california and our sales actually run from friday to friday.

      • Mdavis1205

I live in Charlotte, my store runs from Sunday mornig to close of business on Sat.

    • Katiekittie18

Anybody else have trouble printing the clerasil or lysol coupons? Whatever they use just will not work on my computers (I've beent through this before). I have two computers that are less than a year old, and it apparently will not work with the new windows. So I just turned on my old desktop (that doesn't run very well), and I still can't get them to print. It doesn't come up with the same error message, but it still will not print them!

      • Courtney

what browser do you use? I know I have to switch from google chrome to firefox to print mine.

      • Coupongal1

I had problems also. I could not find where to click to get the coupon at so I just click below the info where it might of been and it took. The screen was just blank where it was suppose to have a spot to click on.

    • meme

I have a question about the Jan 9-15 ad. Did anyone use Jenny's scenario and get the $32+ in Resolution points? I am wondering because I am thinking they take off for all coupons. Am I wrong on this? Thanks for clarifying.

      • Courtney

im not certain since mine have acted weird when being printed out but I did have $50 something the week before, then last time I went it printed out saying I had $83, so I got 30 something in there somehow.

      • kidsryourlegacy

        What are the resolution points?

      • Mystorei415

I just purchased a bunch of items, not for the question you are asking but the points are adding up even after all coupons are used.

        • Ashley

Bought $108 worth of qualifying stuff and $20 reward did not print for me. Kept going back and buying some Lays Stacks to see if it would finally print and it wouldn't.

      • JLorch

I too am having difficulties with understanding the points. I purchased 4 boxes of Special K last week but it looks like I only received points for two of the boxes. Maybe that is because Rite Aid had them on sale B1G1. I too wish I knew exactly how it all worked so I could reach the $100points needed.

        • lilliebelle

You only get the points for the actual dollars you spend (before tax and coupons) if it was free you do NOT get points.

    • Beth

At Rite Aid today, I tried to use the $6 off of Tylenol Precise patches and Motrin PM 20 ct. coupon, but the cashier told me that they don't accept internet coupons over $5. I'm guessing that all Rite Aids don't have that particular coupon policy, right?

      • Tnjcent

I would call Rite aid 1-800 Cust. service or call the manager of that store and discuss this policy. My rite aid in Murfreesboro, Tn took a $10.00 coupon a few weeks ago. They also took the $6.00/2 last week.

      • Crystal

I used that coupon at my Riteaid today. The cashier (who happened to be a manager) did not say one thing about it.

        • Mdavis1205

I used 2 of those at my rite aid yesterday, with no problem.

      • Raj

believe it is up to the store regarding that one … $5 and above internet coupon is at the discretion of the store … try another store and/or cashier !

      • Jenni

Actually, that IS the corporate policy, however, sometimes RA associates are either unaware of the policy, or managers will make exceptions if they know the coupon to be legitimate. It is rare that this happens, in my experience.

      • angela

my manager said she would accept it since it was off 2 items… sort of like using two 3.00 coupons. guess it's up to them!

    • stephanie

my store doesn't have the Tom's of Maine deal. anyone else? I think Walgreens has that deal this week, though…

      • Kitten102602

I believe CVS has a deal starting today. Pay $3.99 get $3 ECB backs… double check though but I thought I saw it in the ad!

    • Marina115

Just realized a couple of my Up rewards have expired! Anyone know Rite Aids policy about that? Thanks in advance!!

      • kidsryourlegacy

My experience is that they do not take them. The register usually beeps.

      • Devon

i called the customer service # and they gave me some points on the rewards card for the expired up rewards.

      • Lcsingleton

you can ask a manager if they will override it, they have done it a couple of times for me.

    • Guest

has anyone used their $20 gift of savings certificate? can it be used along with UPs and/ or the $4 off 20 purchase coupon? i was under the impression that it is basically a gift card except that its one time use. i dont think it can be used to pay tax

      • Mdavis1205

yes. I used mine with the $4 off 20, and other coupons as well. I also used other +ups that I had with no problem.

      • Coupongal1

I used mine last week a long with all the +UPs and $4 off RAVQ. Just re-read your post – I am talking about the $20 +UP rewards when you buy $100. so maybe we aren't talking about the same thing.

    • Sclark55

Is anyone else having issues with the Zantac $5 Q… I register, but it comes on bringing me back to the registration page and will not alow me to complete the registration form? I really needed the Q!!!! Thanks

      • BMarie

I had problems too at first.
I think the server was overloaded with people downloading the Q.
It works good right now, but move quick, cause I'm sure once they figure out hundreds of thousands are being downloaded they will either pull it or reduce the amount.

      • Bamasaver

I just downloaded & printed one without any problem at all.

        • Sclark55

Thank you just went back to the site and it worked!!! Woohoo….

    • BMarie

I hate to say this, but people ARE complaining about **Mommy Blogs** like this one.
Mostly because a hot deal in the hands of a newbie Qponer is like dynamite.
There are no under the radar senerios being worked, shelves are being cleared within an hr of opening, cashiers & managers are getting frustrated with sheer greed, & it becomes disappointing for folks like me who work a full time job & Q on my off time to provide for my family.
There's nothing wrong with snagging a ~GREAT DEAL~ but sooner or later there will be reprecusions for greediness.
This can be seen already with the wording on our P&G Qs,”Limit of 4 like Qs,”.
So, please be considerate & think about the long term effects of being greedy.
      I'm not bashing, I swear.
If you have 100 Qs or see a wonderful free deal, talk to your manager about ordering or do a modest trans and get a raincheck for yourself for a later date and allow other modest family savers have a shot for small deal.

    • Ladybugpam

I completely agree. It is a common trap to get greedy once you are aware of the excellent deals you get at the drugstores when you coupon. But, there will be repercussions, like you said, if we don't have some consideration for other couponers and normal shoppers. The least you can do if you want to buy a large quantity is to wait until the last day of the sale, therefore ensuring that everyone got a piece of the pie and you are not keeping it all to yourself.

    • Life is Good

I am totally with you sister! Well said. However I understand completely because I was right there with them for some time. It is so easy to get addicted! However my common sense kicked in and I started a separate account for all of my RA/CVS/WAG sprees and found that I really wasn't saving as much as I thought. Sure I made money on some things, but I also paid tax on a slew of free things that I would not have gotten otherwise, plus figure in time and extra gas from all of the running around. I have to ask myself- “is a deal a deal if it is something I would not have gotten in the first place?” And even if it is free and I am paying tax on something I am just getting because it is free I am spending money for no good reason.
So….I am sticking to the things that I really do use. Sometimes free, sometimes not, but everything in moderation.

      • BMarie

Same here lol. The time , gas, and oop tax was adding up. I am worried though about how this will affect all of us in the long run. Most likely limits, fewer deals & Qpons, less coperative sales clerk & managers because of Qpon fraud. And you and I both know that newbies/some pros try to pull off things they shouldn't.
I'm getting ready to go to riteaid now and I know what to expect on the deals this week. It's just fustrating.
I've overheard at serval places (CVS, Riteaid, Wags,Bilo, etc, etc) the cashiers and managers calling for extra cashiers to come open the ,”Jenny lane check-out,”.
One cashier told me when they saw Jenny's printable list in a customers hand all they could think was,”How ridiculous was their transaction going to be this time,”.
I stood back and watched as this couple did 7 back to back transactions A PIECE. They wiped out a couple of items and backed the line up for the longest time.
By the time I got to check-out the cashier was so frustrated (as well as myself) that there was no smiling face ringing me up.
There's got to be some code of ethics/courtesy for couponers and their newbie companions.
Alot of newbies follow and look-up to Jenny. So maybe a small disclaimer posted on her blog about being ethical with Qpons would at least tame some of the craziness.
Thanks everyone for not taking all of this wrong way. From the bottom of my heart I just want us all to share together the benifits of Qponing.

        • Lamontagnesgirl

I am new to couponing and I am certainly not one to clean the shelves, but I will tell you that I agree with some of what you are saying in that certainly in time the deals will be harder to spot and will be fewer and far between. I could not care less if the sales clerks are mean or not because IF you are doing it right and you have your coupons lined up and read properly and also have a copy of their coupon policy, they can be pissy all day long for all I care. Everyone has the chance to do something more with their lives..I coupon because I wanted to go back to college at 33 and not have to work as a clerk. If you don't like your job, then go back to school and do something else, otherwise just push the buttons and tell me how much I owe ya..

          • Kitten102602

Wow.. you make the clerks sound like they are beneath you and you are a better person than they are because you coupon so you can go back to college…. A lot of those clerks are in college themselves or trying to just making a living in today's economy. A lot of those clerks actually enjoy their jobs and just like everyone else, sometimes get frustrated at their jobs. Have you ever been a clerk before? Try it, I think everyone should work retail to see what it's like on the other side of the register. I think it's the rude and ruthless customers that have the “I'm better than you because you just a clerk” attitude that makes the clerk.. how did you put it “pissy”.

            • Lori

Hey, Kitty, sheath those claws. Someone comments on bad clerks, and you get all uppity? Makes me think you are the type of person Lamont was talking about.

The point was, if you don’t like your job, do something about it. Don’t take it out on the customer. Especially since the customers can have a bad day, too.

I used to work as a secretary, receptionist, admin assistant, etc. Now I own my own company. I tell people who work for me that I would hate to be a secretary, and that is why I respect and appreciate them so much.

        • Themayfieldzoo

IF you read on Jenny's blogs and posts she makes…she asks you not to be greedy and only use the amount of coupons that are meant to be used and not to excess. She also asks you not to try to “steal” from the stores. If you are new to this site, please read some more of her posts and you will see this. There will always be people that try to give it to the man and go crazy with anything. I dont think Jenny can help that at all. I do several transactions each time but I always go when I know it is not busy…early am or late at night and I always let others go in front of me. My cashiers are always VERY helpful and usually try to help me get the best deal.

          • Fallaya

How do you “steal” from a store?

            • lilliebelle

By using coupons that aren't meant for the products you're getting and not following the coupon policies and hoping to get away with it because of a new or not well trained cashier.

            • Nichols_again

I agree…I don't buy tons and tons of things and I don't have a CVS or Rite Aid card for everyone in my home, so I have time to make sure the things I will be purchasing are what is listed on my coupon, as well as have them in order and ready to go. When you hope to use coupons that you know aren't proper and they end up letting you get away with it, someone has to take a loss, and if this happens oftehn, we as couponers will be the ones to will lose in the end, along with the cashiers who lose their jobs. Play to win, but play fair.

            • Fallaya

              got it :-)

        • Fallaya

I stopped doing multiple transactions a long time ago. It's not worth the extra time, and I want the cashiers at my local RA to actually like me, not dread seeing me when I enter the store! If need be, I'll do a second transaction on a different day if I've forgotten something, and I always let other people in line go ahead of me. As a result, the cashiers are friendly towards me and my 2 year old daughter.

    • Aatgreene

Has anyone tried this toilet paper before?? Is it like sandpaper??

      • 3monkeysmom

Yes!!!! The Simplify brand is definitely sandpaper-ish!!! I bought a couple of 4 packs a few weeks ago because I was completely out and didn't want to spend alot of $$ and it was on sale for 88 cents (toilet paper is just one of those things I never get around to stockpiling)….it's horrible and after several uses becomes ummm, painful :( Would NOT recommend it even if it is free!

        • Lana

I don't mean to be graphic, but don't “wipe” with the t.p. Just gently “blot”. Then it won't be so rough on your delicate parts. :-)

          • Anonymous

Hmmmm, let’s just say that there are situations where blotting would be effective and other situtations where blotting just won’t get the job done ;)

            • Brooke

              This is sick.

            • Anonymous

              Lol…if you say so.

    • Angelareid821

Does anyone have a good scenario for the Resolution Rewards this week? I am about half way there on the $100 and am a bit stumped. Thanks

      • Angela

I was the same as you but saw somewhere that the FREE toilet tissue was counting towards this. Went this a.m. and bought some and it added to my Resolution total! Yea!! I will probably go again and get a few more to bring my total over. I bought a few of the food items as well – canned pineapple, applesauce. hth

      • angela

I think some of the hairdryers and such count… in case you need one! Also, a new reward program called Winter Rewards begins soon, so you can get this next time. Don't spend money just to get the reward unless it will be on items you can get free or really NEED.

      • Faye

Maalox and Excedrin count toward the Resolution rewards so if you have any $5 off Maalox coupons and the free Excedrin coupons that were mailed to those who registered a while back – that brings your total up fast.

    • Tina

My last 2 times to Rite Aid I have not had all my coupons taken off at the register. It seems like the registers are not very fast, like at Kroger, and the cashiers just keep scanning the coupons. It is hard to keep track of what is going through and what is not. Any suggestions? I don't want to sound petty, but it is frustrating.

      • 3monkeysmom

Their registers are ridiculously slow!! I've never had a problem, though. All the cashiers at the 2 stores I go to know about it and they watch the register to make sure a coupon goes thru before scanning the next.
Maybe you could just ask them to slow down and make sure it goes thru before scanning more ( if they're the kind of cashiers who are open to suggestion, if not, I would make the manager aware of the issue so he/she can let the cashiers know to slow it down).

      • Saeweardsmith

I literally stop them if I dont see it on the computer…and also…count the Q's you have, ask them to count them on the screen. My RA knows that the computers are slow…so I dont have this problem anymore…but I still double check!

      • Lzbacnik

The ladies at the Rite Aid I visit will take the time to wait and see if each coupon scans. Maybe you could wait until there is no one in line and then ask the cashier if she wouldn't mind waiting for each coupon to scan. It doesn't hurt to ask?

      • Amber

That happened to me one time.. .of course I thought my total sounded a little high but I didn't catch it till it was too late. I had soo many coupons that I lost $9 in ups b/c they were being scanned soo fast. Now I try to hand my coupons over slower or one at a time instead of all at once. ( Depending on the cashier, b/c some pay attention and others don't )

        • Courtney

Loved the cashier today at my Riteaid, well its not really the one I usually go to but I might just change to it lol. She took her time, and even went back to see how many she had scanned in my up rewards and rescanned some that had not been scanned.

        • senoiamom

I have had the same problem.SEVERAL TIMES. Now, I hand the coupons over a couple at a time, or split the transactions. Of course, some of the cashiers are really great, and know about the problem, so they check to make sure the coupon goes through before scanning the next one.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The coupons should scan immediately, so that shouldn't be an issue in getting them all off, but the +UPs that you use, the message actually gets sent to the satellite to “read” the reward and your card, so that the barcode on the +UP is deactivated. I suggest handing those over one at a time and watch each one, once it comes off, hand the cashier another, and so on and so forth. That way, your also watching to make sure you don't hand over one too many that will cut in to tax, therefore is refused and still deactivated.

    • Ellabeanshop

I don't see a Ricola coupon in the SmartSource today. Am I missing something?

      • Nichols_again

The Ricola q is $1.00 off 2 bags not 1…so it's not exactly free

      • Mel

Didn't get one in my SS either. Sometimes things like that are regional. Also missed out on the $5 Maalox coupon from last week. : (

      • Courtney

got the 1/2 ricola q but didnt get the viactive calcium coupon

    • Kassicoupon

I did a hybrid of the following 2 scenarios that I took from hip2save this morning :)

      Deal Scenario #2:
Buy 4 Old Spice Fresh Collection or Red Zone Deodorant 2.6-4 oz. $3.97 each

Final Cost FREE + $0.12 moneymaker!

      Get a $10 +Up Reward
Final Cost FREE + $7.21 moneymaker

      • Nichols_again

I wondered if the Vicks Sinex products were on the deal because it didn't show it in the add…I will do that for sure. Thanks

        • Syndilew

You can actually do this deal twice because it states that two per card so if you also have the b1g1 on the old spice sprays then you make the other $30 transaction as well.

      • Tracy

I thought the P & G coupons were a limit of 4 per shopping trip as stated on the Q? Just wondering how you used 7.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Probably with a cashier who didn't pay attention. Unfortunately, due to that, none of the 7 will be paid back. P&G is strict with their policies! They've refused for years to pay back retailers, if they believed their products were being purchased with coupons for resale purposes. I thought it was crazy talk when I first heard about it, but it's actually in their coupon policy (I googled it). I'm glad they started putting the limit on the coupons though, so we can be sure we're getting paid back. Except in situations like this, where the cashier doesn't read the coupon.

      • Faye

Awesome! I did the same deal #1 as you but I used 4/$1 off Old Spice Deodorant coupons from the P&G $110 in savings booklet. My mom, niece and daughter do not buy this brand so I got theirs. Worked great since I used just 4 “like” coupons and made $2.12!

      • Reynoldsja

I just completed my shopping at rite aid and before I even started, got the sinex and took it up front for a price check. It was either 8.49 or 8.89 and not on sale. It may have been a part of the 10 ups when you buy $30, but wasn’t on sale at my rite aid, so I did the nyquil, tp & 2 paper towels.

    • GaMedic

Rite Aid's Store brand Kleenex, is also included in the FREE ad this week, I live in Smyrna, and the Rite Aid's here have a (6) item limit on any thing in the store, which is a very good thing I think, because it allows EVERYONE to get in on a good deal.. and just reminding everyone again.. Extreme Coupon Etiquette.. IF your store does NOT happen to have a limit on items.. please DONT hoard aka clear out the shelves… as seen on TLC Extreme Coupon Show.. Be thoughtful of others who also want in on this good deal too.. there is no reason one family should have enough toilet paper to last them 40 YEARS (:

      • Tnjcent

        Same here! Thanks,
        from Murfreesboro, Tn

        • Wcushelley

I would recommend coming back at the end of the week to see if there are any left. I think that there is only one other couponer in my area, because often the shelves are still full on Saturday. I'm hoping that this is the case with the facial tissue because we have to supply them for our children's classrooms. :)

      • Donna091960

I went to my local Rite Aid this morning and grabbed 5 boxes of tissues for my child who has a bad cold and then wanted to send some to her school, to find out that it was the wrong box that had been placed where the tissue on sale should have been. Story of my life, lol. Clerk stated that 1 man came in and cleaned them out as soon as they opened. So 3 hours too late on 1st day of sale is very frustrating.

        • GaMedic

I teach Extreme Couponing classes regularly here in Smyrna, I have watched TLC's show ONCE, and it was enough for me, I seriously doubt I will watch it again.. I also went to the *other* webpage based on where the people on the show go, I just sat there with my jaw dropped as I read thread after thread of people “Hoarding” and finding great deals and clearing out the shelves and seem to be proud of doing so.. I tell my students never buy more pantry food then your family can consume in a 6 month time frame.. Non-Food items and Pet stuff, I tell my students about a year to a year and a half time frame, I tell them if it turns out they did infact buy too much which sometimes happens and their family is not going to be able to consume it before it expires or gets a chance to be used up to PLEASE donate it to their local food banks or homeless shelters, some people do not use extreme couponing as a “Hobby” as stated on TLC, some folks live on a very tight fixed income, and rely on extreme couponing to eat or maintain their daily lives.. I was horrified that it appears to be a hoarding contest on the other webpage of who gets the most of what for cheap.. It bothers me alot because it along with the show on TLC is sending the wrong signal & message out and have already told my students if they are doing it I better not find out about it..

          • Lisa J.

I just read that because of all the buzz the show created, TLC has picked up Extreme Couponing for 12 more episodes. I think it said the future episodes will only be a half-hour long, though.

        • GaMedic

Im sorry you missed the deal, you can go back to the store and ask for a Raincheck on them and get the same deal as today on their next shipment, I know its aggervating to have to wait, but with the Raincheck you will still get your offer, didnt know if you knew this or not (:

      • Jlaleonard

maybe they are getting too much Ducolax on sale! :)

        • GaMedic

          lololololol maybe (:

    • Tuckyblue2

where are you finding the Have tried this yet booklet?

      • Mel

I just read yesterday that it was a mailer–sometime around Thanksgiving from P&G. I didn't get one either. : (

        • ClaraL.

If you have not already go to…..

          http://www.pgeverydaysolutions.com/pgeds/index.jsp

and sign up! You can get special coupons and free samples sent to you every quarter. It is nice because the free samples also have coupons in them.

        • Rachel

it was a mailer, but Im surprised to still see the Qs listed bc all of mine expired on 12/31/10 … maybe there was a new one sent out? not sure, I did get one around Thanksgiving, but thats all… nothing new

    • Ashley

FYI There were only about 18 facial tissue, 15 4 pks of tp, and I think about the same on the single rolls at one store. The other only had 3 facial tissue, 8 4pks of tp, and maybe 12 single rolls and 5 of these rolls were bright yellow with years old dust. So not much chance of many folks finding any unless they'll give a raincheck and make it a free item.

      • Courtney

the store I went to had alot

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Apparently, all the stores in my area are out already, as well. We had someone call to see if we had any, and we told her yes, and we are limiting to 10 per customer and she asked if we could pull 10 for her so we didn't run out in the time it took her to get to the store. When she got there, she told us all the other stores were down to only a couple, if not out, but no one was limiting except us, and that messed up her scenario. She kept insisting that we shouldn't be limiting them, but seemed to tune me out when I replied that the reason everyone else was out already was because they weren't limiting, therefore the limits were messing her scenario up *less* than all of the stores who had none left. We have very few of the facial tissues though, all we have fits in it's home location, which is never good, so we're limiting those to 4 per customer. The 4 packs we have a few cases left of, but we are getting low on the single rolls. Eek. We can't figure out why we didn't get more on Saturday, but what can you do.

    • Nichols_again

      Today was great:
3- Viactiv Chews, 9- 4pks TP, 5- Facial tissue, 3- Toms Mouthwash, 2- Sundown Viatimans B-12, 1 Dayquil, 2- Glade Plugins Starter Kit, 2 Gillette Deoderant, 2- Ricola Cough Drops, And the necessary 20 lb bag of Purina Dog Chow……..Total of 26.00 oop. I would have done a little better but I missed one of the $3 ups that printed out. Oh well, I'll have it next week.

    • Courtney

Had a great trip at Riteaid, got 10 boxes of tissue, 3 single rolls of toliet paper, 2 dulcolax balance, 2 packs of dixie ultra plates, 2 bags of ricola cough drops, 3 packs of peeps, 1 stuffed animal with a marshmellow pop, 1 clearaseal wash, and 1 lysol no hands soap dispenser, oh and 1 reese cup egg, for around $4.00 out of pocket (mostly tax), and got back $20.00 in Up rewards (for the resolution rewards)

    • LoriMama

Can anyone tell me if there is a Rite Aid $5 off $25 Q floating around. If yes, please send the link. Thanks in advance.

      • Bamasaver

Have you checked your Wellness+ account online? Mine had one in it w/ an expiration date of 1/31/11. Other than that, I don't think there are any legitimate ones out there anywhere.

        • Phillis

Can you tell us where in your wellness account you found the $5 off $25? Was it in a message or in with your video value coupons?

          • Mel

Go to the main homepage and log in. Then look on the left side where it says myriteaid.com in a box. The bottom choice is wellness+ online. Click on that and you will go to a page that tells you if you have any offers. I just checked mine and it said I’ve used all my offers already (which I haven’t–they just must not have any for me right now). There are sometimes 2 or 3 printable coupons there. Good luck!

          • Mel

OK, let's try this again. Last time my comment went to somewhere to be approved… log in on the main rite aid page and then click on wellness + online on the lefthand side. If there's anything for you to print, it'll be on that page. Hope you find something (I didn't).

    • Fallaya

I had a great shopping trip. Got 7 packs of RA toilet paper, 6 1000-sheet rolls of RA toilet paper, 4 packs of Dixie plates and a bottle of Vaseline lotion for $3 after coupons and leftover +up rewards! I received 13 +up rewards in return. I need to go back for some Edy's ice cream and some Rice Krispy treats-yum yum!

      • Stacygibson

Did you use a vaseline coupon? I could not find it on the vaseline link. Thanks for any help.

    • Jenny

Where to find Rite Aid PDF printable $5 off $25 coupon ?????

      • Kratie00

I don't think RA is offering these anymore…

      • Courtney

sometimes they will have one online if you check under your wellness + info. go to their site, on the far left near the bottom it says wellness + click that, click get started now, put in your user/pass, then in the top left in the middle will be wellness + offers. I found a 5/25 there last month.

        • Nysummer2010

I got 2 this month…one from my own account & one from my hubby's. I also noticed that the system was able to accept those coupons without “beep” but the receipt showed they are “invalid” coupon $5….lol

      • GaMedic

i had heard from a Rite Aid manager after the first of the year they were terminating the coupons.. please dont quote me, but that was what I was told..

        • LillieBelle

That is true. The $5 dollar off $25 purchase coupon has been terminated and if you do come across one it is a counterfit coupon. It is because of the counterfits that the $5 off $20 was discontinued.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

All the other replies are true. There will be no more PDF total purchase coupons. You'll only be able to get any from the Rite Aid website. Through Video Values and the occasional ones that people get under their Wellness offers. If you haven't already, register your Wellness card online, and just keep checking your “offers” tab to see if you get one. It'll print and look like a PDF, because technically it is, but it is serialized for one time use so after you use it the first time, it will beep any other try as “already used”. 12-31-10 were the last of the non-serialized coupons at Rite Aid.

    • Dittomoe61

I refuse to shop at Rite Aid in Greenville SC, They ventured with Save a Lot and went to the store buy vitamins B1G1 free and would not give me the deal because of the venture, everything you seen online weekly circular was not on sale

      • Jlnwdw

        Where did they venture to?

        • Dittomoe61

They merged with sav a lot

    • Becky

I am new to couponing, and was wondering where do I get the P&G $110 booklet & Have You Tried this Yet?

      • MaryJ

The 110 booklet is something you had to send in for. P&G had a promotion where, if you spent 50 bucks worth on their products between October (I think) and December 31st, you could send in all receipts and get the coupon book. I’m really not sure about the Have You Tried this Yet booklet. I had the same question and then somehow I got it in the mail. Try going to P&Gs website and sign up for the things they have on there. It’s the best way to make sure you’re getting their coupons and such. We us a lot of P&G products, so I’ve signed up for everything they have, I think.

    • Kathy

I've begun telling the cashiers that… I've gone through my coupons a couple of times before check out, but I could have made a mistake…and that I will not be offended if they have a question about any of my coupons. I feel like that lets them know that I am in no way trying to “pull something over on them”. They really seem to appreciate it.

    • Mnlong01

I got the $4 off $20 Beauty bonus from watching the video values. I was wondering if you have to use this on cosmetics, or can you use it on anything at Rite Aid?

      • Cindy

No! You can use on anything!

      • Coupons4ever

You can use it on anything that's at least $20 before coupons. HTH! :-)

    • Coupons4ever

Had a fantastic trip today. Made money in the end–yay! Just wanted to let everyone know that in my RA, the TGIFriday chips were giving a $1 food UP. It may already be posted somewhere, but I didn't notice before I got there. This makes them free (actually .03 profit). Happy Shopping! :-)

      • Fallaya

Hey, thanks for the heads-up! My boyfriend loves those snacks! :-)

    • Tlarsen410

I found the best deal on Almay cosmetics today. Riteaid has started marking down certain cosmetics from 50%-75% off. I came across a tearpad at the front entrance where they usually display giftsets and new items for $3.00 off 2 Almay cosmetics. After finding those and then the 75% off Almay intense i-color trios and Almay pure blends…
      Purchased
      (3) Almay intense i-color eyeshadow trio – $1.87each
      (9) Almay pure blends eyeshadow singles – $1.87each
      Used
      (6) $3.00 off 2 Almay products
      Total $22.44
After Coupons only paid 0.37 each!
I love saving money! Thanks Jenny!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

I've been meaning to point this out to people. I did it the day we did the markdowns, and gave 2 other people the coupons, then completely forgot about it! Thanks for pointing it out. With the reset getting close, we need to get rid of the old stuff!

    • Nichols_again

I just noticed that I have a $5/25 coupon on my wellness card that I can print. Can this be used in the store or is it only online?

      • Courtney

can be used in the store

    • Themayfieldzoo

Is there any way to check how much you have towards your $100 credit??? Several of my reciepts said the computer was down but my points were being counted??

      • lilliebelle

You could probably call 1-800-rite aid.

      • lauren

I think the “points are being counted” thing is the points towards your wellness plus discount, not the resoulution rewards total. My resolution rewards total showed way down at the bottom of my receipts, below my UP rewards.

    • PaigeP

I have a question about the Resolution Rewards. It seems that, up to this point, my rewards have gone up despite coupons and UP rewards. Tonight, I went in specifically to buy $25 of stuff to go over $100 (I bought $30something before coupons and UPs), had $14 to pay in cash (had to buy some ingrown-toe nail meds with no coupon) and only got the $14 Resolution Rewards. What's going on?!?!?!? Are they tabulated BEFORE coupons or not?!?!?!?! Now I have $11 left to spend.

I have some good ideas — I have 2 $2 Qs for the Shick Quattro refills (those are GREAT razors, IMO, and I use them all the time). They're BOGO this week at $10.99 (I think), so it would be $6.99 for 2 packs. That's a pretty decent deal for those razors.

The Zicam would help add some bigger numbers if you'd use it.

The Rite Aid bandaids are included in the Res. Rewards. We always need bandaids around here.

      • Courtney

buy the tissues if you can, I am pretty sure up rewards don't count against it, since I paid a subtotal of 0 on my purches today after using up rewards and got it. The tissues you will get an up reward back so its basically free

I'm sorry if this is already somewhere on the site but, I went to Rite Aid today and bought some of the stationary stuff that was suppose to be $1.99 w/ +$2Up rewards ( I think it was brads, and paper clips) I also bought 2 folders that were $.99 w/ +$2Up rewards… None of my +UP rewards printed :( The manager said all he can do is refund the stuff but then I was out my $6+Up that I used to purchase the stationary…
Any idea as to what I can do to fix this? I just kept the products sense I didn't really pay much for them anyway but I”m kinda cranky that I didn't get my $12+UP :( HELP! TIA

      • Deedeescoupons

I had the same problem last week, If you call 1-800-RiteAid they will give you $2.00 for 2 products so you will get 1/2 of what you are suppose to get. It made me mad too but there was nothing I could do about it. I can say that everytime I shop at Riteaid something goes wrong and I am almost to the point of not having any interest in shopping there. I get a headache everytime I try and put a list together, because they advertise one thing and do something else.

      • Algcoupons

Anytime I've had UP rewards to not print, the manager has just hand written the amount of UPs towards my next purchase on the bottom of my receipt.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Those +UP signs should've been pulled a couple of weeks ago. They weren't supposed to be included in the TPR (temp. price reduction) with the +UPs. We were told to pull the signs (or not put them up at all, since we got the memo before they went up), but it took longer to delete them from the system, so people were able to get the rewards for some time, even after corporate knew they made a mistake in the sales coding. I don't know if there's anything that can be done, except try calling the Wellness line and see if they will send you the rewards, but since it wasn't supposed to be a deal I don't know if they will. If your store had the signs up, your best bet would be to ask them to adjust the cost to reflect the rewards because they had it advertised. If they had pulled the signs and you bought the items because you knew of the deal b/c of the postings on all the boards, the store doesn't really have the responsibility to fix it for you. If you want to return it all, you probably could now that it's in the system, it'll account for what you spent, and if you had any OOP aside from the rewards you used, you could get your money back, if it was all paid for in rewards, try telling the cashier that when they go to the form of payment for the return, and encourage them to put it on a gift card since you used rewards and not cash. Makes you honest to the store, and keeps the store in the clear for customer service and for following policy and not giving cash in exchange for coupons. Stores seem to differ on returns with +UPs being the payment method, but if you go in w/the willingness to do the right thing and show the employees that, I think you'll get a better response that in you went in and just demanded your $ back.

    • Jlaleonard

I just printed a $3/2 Dixie plates Rite Aid video coupon. They are on sale B1G1 and are part of the ($20 +UP WYB $100 in participating products) promo. I think this would make them a good price and it would also count toward the promo that ends this week!

    • meme

I think someone may have already posted about the American Greeting Cards coupon. It says it expired 12/31/10.

    • meme

Nature Made rebate is after taking off coupons and discounts. That makes for a pretty big vitamin purchase.

    • Deedeescoupons

I did not see the -$3 off Viactive Chews in my SS today and when I looked at what was suppose to be in the SS I did not see it listed, I am I missing something?
      Thanks

      • Sillysnicks

I didn't get it either, I think it was regional b/c I have read several people didn't get it!

        • Jlocklear1234

Same here!! Charleston, SC did not get it either, however there is a link for $2 off :(

    • Morgan

I just want to say I am VERY SORRY to any of you who had your local RA merge with Sav A Lot. I stopped by one on my way to work today (about an hour from my house) and I was floored at contents and condition of the store. RA should just take their name off the sign. And I am now very thankful for the true RA closer to home!

      • Mountaineers2

We've had all our RA's here in the Greenville /Easley SC area switch to the combo store recently. The 2 that I've been in have been orderly, clean and have nice employees that have gone out of their way to be helpful. Some are the one's from the old RA store and some are new for the grocery side. Prices on the groceries are good-it's a lot less 'stuff' to look at but some of it never movd off the shelves.

    • Rachel

Dissapointment. I went to riteaid today and broke my own no shopping
On Sunday for nothing. No to or facial tissue did get free maalox which
Does count on the rewards use the 5 off q and submit for 2 scr was a 2.05 mm for me. Is it sad to be disappointed about to haha. Oh clearasil is 5.50 instead of 4.50 at my store

    • Lisa2361

I'm new to RA couponing. Can someone explain what Up rewards are? I read that they are for purchases, but how do you know the when & where of it all. Sorry, I'm lost. Thanks!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

There's no need to apologize. +UP rewards are basically manufacturer's coupons that print on your receipt for purchasing an item that is on sale with the reward. So if you buy something for $2 with a $1 +UP, you are spending $2 on that item, but you get a coupon for a future purchase. That's where it differs from any other man. coupon, because from what I understand, the manufacturer of the item that produced the reward will pay the store back when the reward is redeemed even though it's being used [to purchase] an item that isn't from that manufacturer. The only “when & where” that is necessary to know is the expiration date on them. They commonly expire in 2 weeks. Really 2 weeks from the end date of that sale, so if you buy something with a +UP this week it will expire 2 weeks from Saturday. There are others that are monthly deals, so just pay attention, when you get one, to the date on the coupon. They can be used on any “front end” purchase which is anything not in the pharmacy, but there are a couple exclusions; they can't be used on tobacco, alcohol, pre-paid items (money orders, cards etc) or lottery. You can use a reward to buy the same item again, or you can use it on something else you need or want. As of right now, there's nothing that can be done abut expired +UPs, so be diligent in using it before they expire and you have to throw money away [literally].

    • Paige_Aminehdestin

(Edit) Sorry, this was in response to something a page back about the $6/2 IP coupon from last week. I don't know why it didn't go where it was supposed to: It is corporate policy, so really it shouldn't be a YMMV situation, but unfortunately, it seems to be. Internet coupons over $5 aren't supposed to be taken, I'm guessing due to so many “IP coupons” that turn out to be fake, that corporate is trying to limit the losses there. It's actually been policy for about 2 years now, maybe more. I think for the most part, we took the coupon, but only for $5 (since it had to be typed in anyway) so that we followed all the rules. I know we got busy at one point and kind of forgot, and ended up taking a few for $6, but luckily, we do know the coupon is legit, so maybe we won't get in trouble for it. My big problem with that coupon, is that someone pointed out to the SM that the coupon actually says on “items pictured” not on all Tylenol Precise and Motrin PM. The ones pictured were the Tylenol Precise cream and the 40 ct. Motrin PM. I only got the coupon for the Precise cream, so I'm in the clear there, but I wonder if we all (stores in general) accepted coupons for the wrong items last week….

      • Ashley

I haven't noticed that, but I'm really starting to think with what I've read over the years that manufacturer's are reimbursing pretty much all coupons they receive from a store. From what I've read about, they really don't have the capacity to check each and every q they receive and match it accordingly w/ each and every receipt from every store across the country. Now if thousands of fraudulent q's are being redeemed, that is a different story. I'm not positive, but it does seem the store will still get reimbursed for those $6/2 regardless.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Actually, we send our coupons to corporate and they actually do have someone to match the coupons in the envelopes up with the print out that we send with it, so it would be on them as to whether or not they send the $6/2 coupons in to the clearing house for reimbursement or not. My guess is that they will, so it shouldn't be too big of a deal being only a few, but they could punish a store for accepting them since it is against policy, but that would be their decision to make.

    • Marie

Searched through the comments and trying to find some specifics on the tissues. Toilet paper appears to be simplify brand 1000 sheet, can anyone give me any info ont he tissues, namely the brand (simplify as well?) and the count please.

      • It is a store brand, not sure of the count since they were out this morning.

      • christi

The tissues were Rite Aid brand and they must be the kind with aloe. I took several boxes up and the manager knows me from couponing. She asked if I was expecting UPS rewards, I said yes and she said it had to be the kind with aloe in them. Sure enough if you look at the photo in the ad the image has with aloe.

    • Crashx21

Don't know if anyone has posted this, but I got two of the Darico foamie kits. The ones I got were “3-D Mosaic Creatures” in a square blue box on the bottom shelf next to crayons, markers, etc. The regular price was $2.29 and I got them for $1.83 with my 20% gold discount. I had a video values coupon for $5/2 (no longer available) AND there was a $5 +Up when you buy 2. They did not adjust the coupon down, so this was a $6.34 MM! Even without the VV coupon its still a money maker. My son likes these, and I have also donated some to his school for their “treasure box” or the after school program.

    • kjmiller

Does anyone know if the B1G1 free deals at RA are true B1G1 or will one ring up at half-price? Thanks!

      • Sdavisva

First one is 'regular' price and the second one is 0.00. They show up at the bottom of the receipt under the coupons used (at least in VA). B1G1 coupons work out to be both items free. And you can use two manuf. coupons – one for each item. And in my experience, if they are offering UPs on a B1G1 free – you get UPs for both items.

    • Tina

Is there a limit of UP rewards per transaction?

      • wolverinehokie

Nope. They just can't go towards tax and the normal exceptions (alcohol, etc)

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Do you mean a limit on how many will print in a transaction? If so, then yes. We weren't told a number in store, but were told that too many will overload the register and none will print. I've seen online on a couple different sites though, that you can't do more than 20 items with +UP rewards in one transaction. One site seems to have asked someone (at corporate, I guess?) and it has to do with the space allotted on the receipt. If you're asking about limits aside from that, most of the sales don't have limits on how many you can get and that's in one transaction or split in to multiples. Most that do have limits are printed in the ad as “limit one per household” or “limit two per household” I don't think I've seen a limit beyond one or two, but there's one coming up on light bulbs (free after +UP basically) that I'm not sure if it's listed in the ad or not, but we will have disclaimers for it b/c it's a limit of 6. Last, if you mean are there limits on how many you can “spend” in one transaction, the answer is no. Like the reply says below, as long as it doesn't cut in to tax you can use the +UPs to pay for 100% of your total before tax on all *qualifying* purchases.

        • Tina

Hi. So, I can only purchase 20 items , that I will get printed up rewards, in one transaction? For example, 10 rolls of TP and 10 other UP items. If I purchase more than 20 UP items, it will only give me 20 coupons on the receipt?

          • Ashley

The blogs are saying this week is glitchy for whatever reason. It's best to stick with 17 UP producing items this week and leave 3 spaces open for the survey portion, total points message, and resolution reward tally. That's what I did and it worked out perfectly. Last week the system was able to handle about 24 printed items, but it's been said that changed down to the 20. The other week I happened to purchase 32 UP producing items and not one even printed.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

Exactly. I'd actually be on the cautious side, and maybe only buy 15 +UP items at a time, just to be sure so you don't have to waste your time trying to return and re-ring that many items to get your rewards to print. Like the reply below says, sometimes there are glitches that can cause that limit to go down week-to-week. If you purchase more than 20 (since that seems to be the allotted space now) you won't get any. It basically sends a message to the printer that there's too much “memory” for the space and therefore only prints your receipt with the barcode (the one scanned for returns) and ends right there. No coupons, no survey, nothing. But if you stay below the 20 +UP item threshold, you should be able to get up to the 20 coupons on your receipt.

    • Wilkinsonk88

I'm kind of new to couponing, and I'm trying RA today for the first time. 1) Can I stack there?, 2) If I print 2 coupons from the videos, can I use both, or will only 1 of them work?, 3) If I have more than +Up deal for the same item, can I check them out together, or do I need to do 2 different transactions in order to get my +Up rewards?
      Thanks!

      • Sandy

        1) Rite Aid coupon policy is in the upper right hand corner on this page. It address stacking. You can stack a manufacturer coupon, and a Rite Aid coupon.
        2) You can only use one video value coupon even though you can print them a million times. Coupon states one per customer.
        3) You can do all of your Up purchases in one transaction.
        Good luck!

    • The Rite Aid TP Up+ is not working today. Spent 25 minutes on hold while in the store. They are sending me my UP, but thought I would save some others the headache!

      • Katiekittie18

Similar problem at my store. Only 1 UP printed, but I had some other stuff to buy, so the manager told my cashier to take the rest off of my next order.

      • Ashley

I have been a loyal customer of Rite Aid's, but they are really driving me crazy, I think I'm gonna pull their hair out. Limit 1 is fine if that's what they want to do, but stop pulling whammys on customers in the middle of the week! They have just gotten beyond ridiculous. I guess RA is like a child I'll just have to patient with and I'll be the one bald with my hair ripped out.

        • duh!

They had to limit it because there were people who were taking advantage of the free toilet paper and facial tissue. As usual, there are those among us that act like greedy animals whenever there's a good sale. And it's usually under the guise of “Oh I'm going to DONATE it”…whatever. Why not leave merchandise on the shelves for those of us who actually NEED the products for our own homes? It's ridiculous to buy cart-fulls of toilet paper. I'd be embarrassed to do such a thing at my local store. Some people don't have shame.

          • Marycansave

I saw a lady at my local rite aid who filled the entire trunk of her acura with free toilet paper. I was incredibly tempted to say something to her.

            • Fallaya

I got to Rite Aid by 9:45am Sunday morning (they opened at 9am), and this guy in front of me literally emptied an entire shelf of toilet paper. Then he came back for some of the single rolls! Ridiculous! Next time, I'm getting to the store right when it opens. I think he is going to be the dreaded “shelf emptier” at my local store! UGH!! :-(

            • K.S.

He will be surprised, they have put a limit of 1 on it. The limit started this am when the store opened, when I called corporate, they said it was because people were taking all of the merchandise. That has ruined it for everyone.

            • GA~mommy

I agree…the hoarders ruin it for everyone else, I work at rite aid and one customer came in and bought almost 40 packages of toilet paper on sunday , then came back for the rest on monday but the limit had been set thank goodness! At least there is a little left for the other customers

            • duh!

I think we are seeing the consequences of shows like Extreme Couponing on the TLC channel. Now people are going crazy and hoarding like they saw on the show. I knew that show wouldn't bring about any good…just knew it. Now the stores are going to start enforcing limits, rejecting internet prints…the shelves are going to emptied the first day of sales…I really wish they didn't air that series…it just makes it that much harder for couponers to get good deals anymore. Now couponing has become a competition instead of a pleasurable thing.

            • Gunter00

Did you know that they are going to do a series of it? 12 more episodes to come.

      • okey_dokey

You spent 25 minutes trying to get free toilet paper???

        • LOL- I tried to leave but the manager kept asking me to stay (needed my Wellnes Card and personal info) so she could figure it out before they got hit again. Besides, I wanted to return it if I wasn't going to get my UP

    • Katiekittie18

Just a warning on the toilet paper deal – I purchased 10 rolls today, and only 1 Up printed out. The cashier called the manager, and he said I should have gotten all 10 (cashier was thinking maybe there was a limit). I had actually wanted to do two transactions anyway, so he told her to take $9 off the next purchase. It all worked out for me, but I thought I'd give everyone a heads up! Plus, I see the facial tissue deal in the sale paper, but in the store they had it marked as $1.99 with $3 ups wyb 10.

    • Katiekittie18

I was so happy with my deals at Rite Aid today. I did the toilet paper (had some issues, but all worked out!). And I did the $10 UPs when you spend $30 on P&G. I just did the old spice and gillette stuff. I purchased about $31 in products and the total came to $18.85 after my coupons. I had enough UPs to cover that, so I basically just paid tax, and then got $10 back!

    • Telisa

Here in Smyrna, Ga. the rite aid manager told my husband there is now a limit of 1 per household on the toilet paper. He had a letter from corp. supposedly

      • Katiekittie18

The ad doesn't say anything about a limit, and the manager here said there isn't one. (Only $1 UP printed for me, but her credited me the rest on another transaction). It really does seem like there should be a limit though…

        • Val

Corporate sent out a memo– there is now a limit. I'm sure too many people were complaining about people emptying the shelves for free tp. Now, I'm sure they'll get complaints about people's Ups not printing.

          • Well, I hope they send me my promised $5 in UPs. I would have returned the products if I wasn't going to get my UPs

      • I spoke to corporate RA this morning and they told me that it was an error and that if you called they would mail the UP. They said they were mailing me my $5 in UP

    • sakura

I've just called 1-800 -riteaid and he told me limit one up coupon per household now..

    • mrsmadayar

I've seen some people saying this wasn't a great week but I was excited about my trip.

4 boxes of zantac (24 ct)
4 packs of dixie paper plates (45 ct)
2 packs of halls defense (30 ct)
1 bottle of dove conditioner (12 oz)

Used $22 man. qs, $7 v.v. qs, and $16 +UPs from last week.

Paid OOP 93 cents + AL state tax and got back $10 in +UPs & my $20 Resolution Reward

      • Jlaleonard

How much are the Dixie plates ringing up?

        • Ashley

          3.99 B1G1

          • mrsmadayar

Yes, that's what I got them for. Plus I had the v.v. coupon for $2 off 2 from last month and the $3 off 2 from this month.

            • Gamblesonsfarms

They also count towards your RR!!!

          • Jlaleonard

Thanks! So only 50 cents a pack after the $3/ 2 video coupon.

    • Tina

I purchased 10 single rolls yesterday and received 10 +UPs. Can I still purchase one tissue and one 4 pack and get 2 +UPs. (I was going to go back later in the week to give other couponers a chance to get some.)

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Probably not. When a deal is limited for +UP rewards, it's not a limit on each type of item you buy, but a limit for the entire deal. Chances are, your card is already at it's limit.

    • Coupons 13

Just got back from rite aid and I only got 1 UP reward for the toliet paper. They have posted a limit now

    • Julie

I am so frustrated with RA right now! I thought I would get my $20 RR today (after working toward it all month), but they apparently adjusted down for coupons and I still need $30 of purchases. I could spend it on over-priced diapers but I hate to do that. It goes against what I'm trying to do with coupons. I WANT MY $5 OFF $25 COUPONS BACK!!! You could use them on whatever you wanted!!!!

      • Jlaleonard

I used the Zantac deal above with 2 boxes and used both $5 coupons and it pushed me over to get my $20 RR deal. It gives you full credit before coupons but noticed they are going fast and are behind the counter.I paid 1.98 plus tax for 2 before other rewards I used. Hope this helps.

        • Julie

Thank you. I'm sure I'll go back later. I just don't understand what happened. I bought a $35 Sonicare item, 6 Kellogg items, 2 Combos, 1 Dove conditioner, 1 Glade item, and 2 Dixie plates and I only got $36.75 added to my RR. I thought all of these items were included.

      • Desiree

You cant still get those? I just got $4 off 20 plus two more bonus coupons on anything from the video values. Since the manufacturers supply the coupons and the up rewards, the rules are up to them :( I can kinda of understand it when looking at it from their side though. But the $5 off $25 actually comes from Rite Aid and RA allows you to use those on anything.:)

    • Fallaya

Is corporate limiting ALL +up deals to only one per household, or is it just the toilet paper/facial tissue? I can deal with one per household, but for items like diapers and wipes, it was nice being able to do more than one! :-(

      • Val

It's just for the toilet paper/facial tissues this week. Unless otherwise stated in the ad, it should be unlimited.

      • Desiree

It doesn't always state limits when limits apply. USUALLY if the item is FREE after +up there is a limit of one per wellness card. Otherwise there is USUALLY no limit. But limits are up to the manufacturers so sometimes there are exceptions. You can always call the 1800 number ahead of time to find out.

    • Julie

I just called RA HQ and they said that mfr. coupons are counted against your total RR. So, I apparently have to spend $30 more out-of-pocket to get it. But it sounds like other people are getting it before coupons. So frustrating!

    • Dulce

Just got back from my Rite Aid. Bought 6 of the facial tissues and 4 of the TP and it gave me 3 of the $1 UPs. No one there could figure out why. I also bought the Hormel chili deal, Oreos & Animal Crackers in a separate transaction and got no UPs (should have received 7x $1). My Rite Aid was nice enough to give me a cash refund of $14 for the two transactions (I could not find anything in the circular that mentioned $3 UP for purchasing 10 RA tissues so they did not refund me on this.) It seems things are pretty screwy with the UPs but hopefully they will get it work out for later in the week.

      • uscgraduate

Not sure what you bought but it seems you made out like a bandit! You don't get $1 up for each item but rather ONE for buying 4 chillis, ONE for buying two animal crackers, etc……..Unless you bought a heck of alot of food…….it seems like you made money on this transaction!

        • 3monkeysmom

The Hormel chili is one of those monthly deals…you get $1 for each can plus the $1 for buying 4. Makes them all free :)

          • lisa

Did you try this? Did you get 5 rewards? Just want to know before I try it.

            • 3monkeysmom

There were signs hanging underneath them at my store…and they also had an end-cap full of $1 UP food items.
I bought ALOT of items with UP rewards Sunday and not all of my rewards printed off (apparently, the register won't print more than 20 indivdual UPs at a time, which I didn't know, only 19 of mine printed and I was missing 4)…I was missing the $3 Viactiv UP and 3-$1 food UPs. I bought the chili, some TGIFriday's snacks and some Goldfish, all of which had UP rewards. The 3 $1 UPs I'm missing were for food items. Since the UPs for the food all say “food snacks,” I can't be sure which ones are missing.
But since the signs were up, I would assume it should work :)

    • Jlaleonard

ALERT! TGI Fridays chips are .97 cents and it is giving a 1 RR per pack. bought 5 packs and gave me $1 RR for each pack. They also have a $5/$15 coupon to use at the TGI restaurant on them. Lots left at my store and it counts toward the $20 RR when spend $100 promo that ends this week. Another note: The $20 RR expires really quick. Mine printed to today and it expires 1/22 So do not Forget to use it FAST!

      • Ashley

Huh? Hope they didn't change it up on people. My exp. date is 2/21.

      • Gabriela

Funny…. mine was printed 3 weeks ago and will expire only on 02/21

      • Nita Royal

Strange. . . mine printed today with expiration of 2/3

      • Courtney

mine that I got yesterday says 2/21/11

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

We had plenty of these on Sunday, but because of the monthly +UP we were wiped out early, even limiting to two per customer. We had been ordering up on them for the previous sales, but they never sold very well, so we didn't order up for this week. Oops. We didn't realize (because it's a monthly +UP) that they were better than free this week. Oh well. You win some, and you lose some.

Yesterday it was printing the up rewards for the tissue and toilet paper. This am I bought some at a different store, it didn't print. The mngr was very rude to me.There wasn't a sign stating they were limits. I did call corporate to complain about the ups rewards and his attitude, they told me then, they put a limit on it.They didn't offer to send me the difference. The man told me I could take the merchandise back for a refund. I did have problems with other items not printing the reward, and that mngr. made it right. They really need to be consistent in how they handle situations, this is crazy, and it is not good P.R.

      • Nita Royal

I made my first stop today, and the store was wiped out, pun intended. Went to a second store, where they had posted a sign that there was a limit of 3. Probably a good idea, since some folks can't seem to regulate their greed!

        • di

          my store was 1 limit

      • Flack

Are you handing the cashier your Wellness card FIRST? If not, you will definitely have problems with the +up rewards not printing. They did put a limit on the toilet paper/facial tissue though…

    • Nita Royal

The $20 Resolution Reward says the promo is through 1/22. But I noticed that the ad starting on 1/23 has the same “buy and save” symbols. Do you suppose they are extending the promo period, or doing it again for just one week?
The Ads for February indicate that they are running this again, but those ads have a new symbol on them.

      • Meg

I work for Rite Aid and yeah from what I know they are doing it again for February but im not to possitive about that….

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The “Winter Rewards” start the day after the “resolution rewards” end (the 21st is the last day, and the 22nd starts the next).

      • Desiree

Doing it again next month. Its a new one.

    • Lisa

I tried to print the poise $2 coupon. When it prints it is for depends not both???

    • lisa

I agree with K.S. – If they are going to have a limit, they need to at least post a sign stating that – and not change it in mid stream. I don't mind limits, but let people know it, don't let them go to the register with 3 boxes of tissue and get 1 up. Yes, we need to stop greedy people, but that was Rite Aids mistake. They should have had a limit in the beginning.

    • SR

I agree with K.S. and lisa. Rid Aid made a mistake. Put up a sign. Corporate managers should have known to set a limit in the beginning. Put up a sign or pay the price and just remember the early bird catches the worm.

    • Fallaya

Does anyone know if the Viactiv deal is printing more than one +up reward??

      • Gamblesonsfarms

I bought 2 Viactiv this evening and got 2 $3 +UP rewards. So yes, you get get more than one. Great Deal!!!

        • Gamblesonsfarms

sorry, typo. can get more than one.

          • Juliemcgirr

I got 2 and 2 $3 up rewards printed out.

    • Gamblesonsfarms

If you still have your FREE Advil coupons, they also count towards RR. An easy way to get $4.99 more. I have got to say that I am loving having the 20% discount! It's really adding up to some great savings!

    • lisa

My rite aid had NO sign posted today. I had already heard that there was a limit, so I didn't bother.

    • Angelareid821

Has anyone tried the adult and/or children's Oscillo homeopathic medicine? Have a sick little one and was wanting to try it out. Does it work? Side effects? Thanks!!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

It sales well, but I've never tried it. I do always want to warn people of homeopathic cold medicine though, because a lot of it has Sulfa in it. If your little one is allergic to metal, I'd refrain from using anything with Sulfa. I'm not sure the Oscillo has it or not, but most of the Hylands homeopathic cold/flu meds do. I have a bad metal allergy, so as soon as I read the Sulfa on it, I got worried. A lot of people who aren't allergic to metal though, have bad reactions to Sulfa in and of itself so beware. It could cause some bad stomach pain as a side effect, if it's got it in the ingredients. Call and ask the pediatrician's office just in case.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Ignore my comment, I looked tonight and it doesn't have Sulfa or Sulfer in it. Completely pointless facts about the dangers of Sulfa. Sorry.

      • lilliebelle

Yes, I tried it and it worked very well for me.

      • Wcushelley

I used it with my three year old (I believe it was the children's cough med.) I didn't notice any effects at all ( decrease of symptoms or side effects).

      • Guest

The Chestal Honey Syrup for Kids works the best. I've had many customers purchase this instead and say that it worked better for them than the other items.

    • Stacielovescoupons

Has anyone had issues with the plus Ups not printing? I just started couponing @ Rite Aid last Saturday. I got the Spend $25 on Aveeno, Clean and Clear, etc. and get $10 plus Ups, I spent $27 and it didn't print. They said they don't know why and I would have to call the 800 number and they told me that it would go thru approval then be mailed and to expect in 2 – 3 WEEKS?!?!?!?!

      • Nita Royal

The manager at my store gives back cash if the UPs don't print – I think it's easier than having me do a return, LOL.

      • Dee

Sometimes its a glitch. But here are some things to watch for. If the deal requires you to spend 25 then its 25 before tax. And it has to be 25 not 24.99. If it shows Aveeno skin care (for example) BABY lotions would not be included. So read carefully. Sometimes it only includes items that are within a certain price range. For ex I missed out on my up reward because I bought a Garnier hair product that was 13.99 and the ad stated Garnier hair products 3.99-5.99. I wasn't happy but its up to the manufacturer what is included and what isnt. . .

    • Pam

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but I didn't really want to read 334 comments to find out…lol! Dixie paper plates are B1G1 @ $3.99 this week and there is a coupon on the video rewards that gives you $3.00/2. I got 2 packs of 40 for $.99. What's even better is that they are part of the Buy & Save group of products, so you get credit for $3.99 toward your $100 (I know that doesn't sound like much, but every little bit helps)!

      • Patstearns

        Pam,

I did that today and since I used the $3.00 off 2 video value coupon, I only got .99 cents credit towards the $100. I called corporate and was told it was after coupons. Grrr!

    • Sweety Pie32

It seems like the managers at my local RA are not too thrilled with the +up program. I overheard them grumbling about it the last time I was there.

      • Nysummer2010

@sweety pie….I always get the look – “It's you again !!” whenever I walk into RiteAid or CVS stores. However, I always head up and shop as happily as I can since I didn't do anything wrong. I follow the rules and I play well :)

        • Desiree

I agree with you! I don't care who likes it. I'm helping their sales even if they don't know it or care. They are getting paid to stand there and do a job so they are going to be scanning something if its coupons or products. I hear that this attitude happens at a lot of stores and I don't get it? We love our up rewards and are glad to have them as well as our customers who use them! We admire our coupon customers skills and try to learn from them at my store.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

Agreed. We're all amused at the different legit ways to save at our store as well.

            • Kameria23

I read your comments a lot and i'm RA employee also (shift). I'm a big couponer myself and I love all my couponer shoppers (my store has a lot of couponers). But what people fail to realize is that we go beyond and above to order the “hot” sale items. We get most of the stuff in but with so many couponers, we run out a lot of the merchandise.

            • Paige_Aminehdestin

Very, very true. I've used this site a few times to know what was really going to be a good sale, and the SM does a huge store order, and does the little dance that's needed to get the override put in so that we get more than we're “allowed”. It's worked well for us, but we still run in to problems. Especially being an every other week truck… we can only do the dance and store order so much every other sale. Since we aren't psychic to know what coupons are out those 2 weeks and match them up. At least I see that a lot of other stores are doing exactly what we do to stay a foot up, and watching the web!

      • heather

I feel like a get the “eye roll” when I hand over more than 1 UP in a transaction. One is ok, but if they have to ring up several, I feel like I am wasting their time and somehow doing something “wrong”.

    • Ojoemiller

i wish we would all tell riteaid to order the right amount of product to handle the add…hey riteaid…300 million people live in america…customers are not the bad guy…we pay your salaries…try driving sales….

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

We try. Then again, we aren't out of anything yet this week at my store.

        • Desiree

Exactly! If they could only see what we are up against they would understand lol

        • Dee

Cant get them to open my ad order up fully! Cant see the tiny blurred writing on the photo of the ad on the ad order so that I COULD manually order it. Have no clue what coupons are coming out in 4 weeks in the future while placing the order. I would LOVE to know ahead of time. Im here right now on my off time just hoping it will help me to be able to better stock up in the future. Ex. We NEVER sell a lot of Special K when it goes on sale. Who knew 5 weeks ago there would be a BOGO coupon for it?

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

Don't you love having to come online to find the good deals you need to order up on? These websites have been a bit of a blessing for me, and we've joked for a while that it's now part of my job to read up and find out what the big sales will be. lol. I've had a lot of people mention that corporate knows what coupons exist before they make the sale and that should be incorporated in to the order process, but you're a store employee, not corporate and it's *your* job to order “accordingly” and not corporate's. You do what you can, and hope for the best. I've learned that for the most part, if customers see that you are trying, they appreciate it, even if it doesn't work fully.

            • Rubycash

I understand that it is difficult to predict what will sale from your ad. My issue with my local RA is that weeks after they are still out of the item, my raincheck has expired and/or my coupon has. I have gone on Sunday, the day the ad comes out, and the shelves are empty. FRUSTRATED. I finally contacted corporate over it. Months of shopping, trying and no results can get old quick.

            • Paige_Aminehdestin

The next time you go in with an expiring rain check and the store is still out of the product, ask the manager if they would initial it saying you came in while the RC was valid and you can come in and get the product at a later date. For the most part, RCs are accepted even after 30 days, but with +UPs we are supposed to only accept them for the 30 days they're valid. I've had to initial some on occasion though, because the customer has tried back and the product just wasn't in. Many times, on items like the Nivea Happy Sensation (or whatever it's called) lotion, the warehouses all ran out and didn't get any back in to send to stores for quite a long time. Not really the store's fault again, but they should find a way to provide the service (rainchecks etc) for the customer to uphold the customer service value that RA does push, very hard. As for coupons expiring, there's not much we can do there, but luckily coupons like that are commonly issued multiple times in that period of time so you can normally get a good substitute for the expired coupon at some point during the 6-8 weeks of waiting. I know we've manually put in a coupon that expired while we were waiting on a product to get to the store, but that way we keep us CS even though we won't get the coupon value back (most likely). That'll vary from store to store, but seriously, with RCs, at least ask your store if they could sign an acknowledgment that you tried to get the item during the RCs valid dates and couldn't, so they can accept it later.

    • Havencouponing

Ok, so I am a little upset! My SS add did not have, Viactiv, Zantac or Ricola coupons in it. Not sure why, my mom gets the same add and hers does! I will be getting her coupons for these things tomorrow! This is my first time doing this and I am getting excited!! lol

      • Sandy

Good luck!! It is exciting to see the savings. Remember if they are out of stock to get a raincheck!

      • Jluvsmadd

My SS 1/16 did not either and I purchased 2 papers from different cities…(Statesboro and Savannah, GA):(

    • kaseyshadow

okay not trying to start a war of negative comments, I'm just asking in hopes to find an answer. I think I remember being taught that when refering to the newspaper sales it was spelled AD because it is short for advertisment and when you were talking about the math operation it was spelled ADD.

      • Val

        You are korrect :).

      • Marina115

I know several people who use SouthernSavers who didn't exactly grow up in America speaking and writing English (including my mom). So their spelling may be off sometimes and they may even get words mixed up (like ad and add). But they're doing their best and shouldn't be discouraged because of a small mistake. I try not to get hung up on the little things. It makes life easier! :) happy shopping!

      • heather

        Really???

    • Bamasaver

Can anyone answer this question?…A couple of weeks ago, I logged-in to my Wellness+ online account. There was a $5/$25 coupon there with an expiration date of 1/31/11. I printed it & used it. I logged-in again tonight & there's a $5/$25 coupon there with an expiration date of 1/31/11. Is this a “new” one or the same one I already printed & used? Do those just stay there even though they've been printed or do we get a “new” one periodically there?

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

I think they normally delete after printing, but I'm not positive. As an employee, at least I think that's the reason, I don't get the fun total purchase coupons in my Wellness account, so I can't be sure, to be quite honest with you. I saw on another site someone said they got a coupon a couple weeks ago and it said something about “Your deals ending 1/8/11” or something (expiration date 1/31/2011) then logged on the following Saturday to check points and had another message that said “Your deals ending 1/15/11” (expiration again 1/31/11). Check to see the dates in the box on your account, if it looks like it was sent since the one you printed, you probably just got a second one. If you can't tell, take it with you just in case, and before you hand the cashier any coupons, ask if they could scan that one b/c you thought you'd only get one periodically and were surprised to find this one in your account message box and don't know if they meant to send you another or if a glitch added it back. If you let them know you're aware that it might beep “already used” and you don't expect an override, I doubt you'll have any trouble, or even that “it's a scammer” look people seem to get a lot.

        • Tina

I found a coupon on my Wellness account and then a few days later there was another coupon. I checked the numbers on the coupons and they were exactly the same. Are they the same coupon?

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

If the barcode is absolutely identical, then it probably is the same coupon. The serialized coupons should have something different, or else we'd be back at square one with everyone printing 4127 copies of each one and the registers never wising up. I think it's only the last digits that are different though, so just make sure it's identical before you assume it's no good. Or, if your on good terms with your store, take it with you just in case, and tell them you aren't sure, and see what happens.

    • Jluvsmadd

I did not receive any Viactiv or Ricola coupons in the SS 1/16 insert? I purchased 2 newspapers from different cities and neither contained them. Newspapers were from Statesboro and Savannah papers.

    • kasey

Just got back from rite-aid, bought 2 rolls of toliet paper and got 2 $1up! looks like all rite-aids have changed the limit to 1. Yet thats is.

      • Guest

On Sunday it was changed to limit 1. On Monday it was changed to limit 3 per househould. Your stores that you shop at are not reading their bulletins and posting the proper paperwork. Buy 3 and it will print out your rewards.

    • lisa

I bought 1 roll and got back 1 buck, today. Still no signs posted stating if there is a limit. Does anyone know if it has been changed once again?

      • lisa

Sorry, I meant to say, “I got back 1 up.

        • Zinniasgive

My RA had an official RA sign that said limit 4 for the TP deals (single roll and 4-pk were $1 with $1 UP). I purchased 4, but only got 3 UPs back???

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

That was probably the store's personal limit sign, but the limit corporate set and sent down (which all stores should have posted, but it seems some don't check the computer for these things) is what is actually set in the system. So no matter how many you buy, you'll only get the 3 rewards because it's set in the computers company wide. You could've asked to see if your store would adjust the 4th for you, since they hadn't done their job in posting the 3 and kept the limit of 4 on the shelf, so technically false advertising… but stores seem to be up in the air still when it comes to knowing what to do when rewards don't print.

    • Reynoldsja

I noticed a lot of posters using the video coupon for the dove on one item. My coupon says shampoo AND conditioner…
Are there different coupons? I also have one for the dove body wash. Anyway, I wasn't going to use the coupon I had to use on the shampoo and conditioner, but when I went to look at the dove products, there was a $1.50 coupon on the conditioner! SCORE!! So, I got the shampoo and conditioner for $3.48 and got $2 ups. Yay!

    • M_bruere

is there any way to check your resolution rewards without buying something. when I bought stuff last week they told me it took 2 days to update so it wouldnt show the purchases from that day on my receipt. I want to know where I am at so I can decided if i need to buy anything else.

      • M_bruere

were the resolution rewards crediting before coupon value or oop? I got a lot of free cereal and wonder if they added up or not.

        • Bamasaver

I got my reward on my receipt today & am certain that it was based on the basic selling price before any +ups or coupons & NOT on my oop. There's NO WAY I've spent over $100 oop in that timeframe.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

Re: M_bruere – We were having register issues on Wednesday night and about half the receipts didn't print the resolution rewards points either way (total of what you've spent towards it, or what you spent towards it in that trip). We have no way in store of pulling up your total (or your Wellness points for that matter) but you could try just calling 1-800-RiteAid and going to the wellness line and asking them. They have the computers that actually tabulate everything about your Wellness card right in front of them (or so it seems from posts I've been reading).
Re: Bamasaver – it seems some things do deduct coupons while others don't. I noticed that if I bought a collection of items, the coupons never seemed to affect the points I was accumulating, but I bought some Folic Acid vitamins one night (it iced down here and my RX was at the Dr's an hour away, oops) and they were BOGO free and I had 2 coupons for $3 off any of the brand making the 2 bottles only cost about $1 something and I only got 2 points credited. That was all I bought in that transaction though, so I figured that may be why.

      • Desiree

resoloution rewards SHOULD show up the minute your receipt prints. its the points to get 20 percent off that take about a day or two. At least at my RA thats how it has been working.

      • Sregis0628

That's not true….it prints on the bottom of your receipt ( the very end, after all the UP rewards) at least mine did everytime I bought something)

      • GA~mommy

I think they got the points confused with the resolutin rewards…it does/can take up to 48 hrs for the points to update but the rewards show up right away

      • Savinglotsofdough

My RR are not consistent. I should be over the $100 limit…first receipt said I was over $63 toward the reward, second receipt said only $15. Has anyone else had this problem? Can the store fix this or do I have to contact corporate?

    • gacouponman

Where are the P&G Have you tried this yet? booklets

      • Savinglotsofdough

Mine came in the mail. I think I got it for registering on their site…can't remember exactly.

    • Amanda

I went into our Rite Aid here in Columbus, GA tonight and had a coupon beep, among several other coupon issues I had to argue. The employees told me there was NO possible way of getting around the beep. If it beeps I can't use it, and it was a $1 off Bounty coupon that expires in Dec 2012! I wanted to argue but I had a cranky 2 year old. Then, my $10 up didn't print so I had to hang back forever to get that fixed. They finally put it on a gift card when I wouldn't take “too bad, so sorry” for an answer. They are not coupon or child friendly at this one at all :(. My cashier was more worried about if/where my child picked up the train toy (of course I told him I would put it back. It was his entertainment in the cart while I checked out). The guy came around the counter immediately after he handed me my receipt and took the toy from my son's hand as we were rolling over to the toy shelf to put it back. Anyway, very bummed that this Rite Aid is coupon illiterate. Does anyone in the Columbus/Phenix City area have any store suggestions? I

      • Sweety Pie32

Wow…I'd never shop in that RA again! What a bunch of grumps!!!

      • Momsdumplin

You should call corpoerate and complain about their rudeness if nothing else. Make sure you have your receipt so they can know the cashier, the store, and the time of the incident.

    • Dawn

I finished off my $20 RR tonight (I had to spend another 75, and I even went 10 bucks over!) I thought I would post my shopping list for anyone who needed to spend a lot still! Would have been easier if they had had tissue and TP in stock on sunday! I also wish they would have given a total on my reciept instead of a running total, since I wasn't sure if they were subtracting Ups on the products or VV coupons (It doesn't appear that they did on mine, or one of the other items I bought qualified?)

I bought these items that all qualify for the $20 RR (as near as I can tell!)
      : 2 Maalox @ 4.49
      1 Maalox @ 6.49
      6 TGIF snacks @ .97 each
      2 Dixie Plates (bogo) @ 3.99
      4 Pepsi 12 pks @ 10.98 (one was free)
      2 Halls drops @ 1.50 each
      2 Ricola @ 1.50 each
      2 Kids Oscillo (bogo) 6.99
      1 Rite aid TP @ 1.00
      2 Zantac @ 7.99
      4 Hormel Chili @ 1.25
      1 excedrin @ 3.99
      2 Reese PB cups @ .50

Total for the above came to $76.22

I used coupons which brought my total oop down to $36.13, i paid with Ups earned last week, and got back:

      (6) 1.00 Ups Food Snacks (TGIF snacks)
      (1) 1.00 Ups Rite Aid Paper
      (2) 2.00 Ups Oscillo
      (1) 1.00 Ups Halls
      (1) 1.00 ups Ricola
      (5) 1.00 ups Hormel (4 food snacks, 1 wyb 4)
      (2) 2.00 Ups Zantac
      (1) 20.00 Resolution Reward for spending $100

I used up my Maalox coupons rather then wait to see if someone had them next week, I have a raincheck for the CVS MM, so I figured I could get more coupons! I also had one free excedrin coupon leftover and I printed two of the 5.00 Zantac coupons too.

(I also bought Viactiv, Celestial Tea and Renuzit, but I don't think either of those were included. )

      • Patstearns

The Renuzit is included. they are .99 cents each but if you have the B3G3 coupon it makes them .49 cents each.

    • Sregis0628

Went to Rite Aid yesterday…..only needed 5 dollars more to score my $20 reward….so I bought 2 small items that qualified….I also bought 1 Eight Pack Bounty(used $1 off P&G coupon), 2 12 roll packs of Charmin(used 2 $1 off P&G Coupons), 2 Old Spice Deodarants (Used 2 $1 off P&G coupons), also got 1 Tide(used $1 P&G coupon) then I used $11 in Ups….. Spent $25 dollars and got back $30 dollars in UP's…(The 20 reward & 10 Ups) Whoo Hoo!!!!!!! All for free plus I made 5 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rite Aid :)

    • mrsmadayar

I just got my ad for next week (we get them in our Thursday paper to preview). Some of the items have the Buy & Save logo beside them. Is the Resolution Reward going to continue?!?!

      • Patstearns

The new Buy and Save you see in your new Rite Aid flyer is for the Winter Resolution Reward, which is very similiar to Resolution Reward. It begins on January 26. I saw the ad today at my Rite Aid and looks like the items included are going to be good ones. I noticed at the check out lots of stuff marked with the Winter Resolution tags…Trident gum, Hershey's brand single candy bars, etc. These will be great items because we get coupons for them alot.

        • mrsmadayar

So basically we get to do it all over again? Buy another $100 and get another $20 +UP?

          • RebeccaFer

Yup! That's why RA is my favorite store! :D

It actually starts on 1-23, but besides that, you're exactly right. It's just an extra way for RA to try and encourage more sales during the given period of time, and I'm guessing it's probably one of the slower times for retailers in general, so very smart on the part of the advertising and sales departments. :-) We don't have our Winter Rewards tags up yet, so I'm not sure if you saw the WR signs or the RR signs that are good through this week. They include a lot of the candy and stuff, but I still haven't had a chance to look through and see everything that'll be included in this next campaign other than what's in next weeks ad.

I bought 3 boxes of rite aid facial tissue @99 each today and received no UP reward.

Did you buy the right size or count?

Does anyone know how to get the Vaseline coupon. The site says nothing about it.

    • my rewards weren't updating right… i bought $20 towards the goal, then $10 but it wasn't totaling it up right! the manager said i had to call corporate, which of course that was closed tonight… i hit the $100 mark but nothing printed b/c it didn't update. they better fix it! on a positive note since I was in there while they were switching out, the $50 i earned towards the resolution apparently counted towards the winter rewards too, so i'm already halfway there! lol
