    • Rite Aid is confusing. Are the +up pretty much like the CVS ecb's? TIA! :)

      • lauren

Yep, pretty much the same except for there don't seem to be any limits on how many +up you can get per item. At least I haven't found any yet.

        • Queenthatiam

yes, some items do not have any limits on how many ups you can get,but be careful, their have been reports that no more than 18ups , I thik will print on a receipt at one time.

          • Amber

“No more than 18 ups” means that no more than 18 separate +ups offers will print on one recepit. The values can be any total. I had 2 offers for a total of 26+ups print on my recept with no problem.

            • Jmedina3577

if you purchase more than one of the same item that has +ups will you get the +ups for each item or do you have to do seperate transactions??

            • Ashley

              Nope.

            • artlady

I think you should get the ups for each item; no need to do separate transactions (like you have to do at Walgreens). The only exception would be if there was a hidden or stated limit on a certain item…. if you bought 4 of something and they set the limit in the computer as 3, then you would only get 3 ups rewards printed on your receipt.

            • Jmedina3577

              thanks ashley and artlady!

      • Mel

Yes, but most UPs expire within 2 weeks whereas ECBs last a month from the date of purchse, so be careful.

        You can do it twice!

Meaning you can earn the full $20 UP twice? I thought that was just once…

    • Stephaniecumbow

If I have a coupon that prints with a local grocery store logo on it even if it is a manufacturers coupon can I redeem it at any store?

      • Ginaod2000

Most stores won't take manufacturer coupons with other store logos on it. You can ask customer service, but I have had no luck with that. I was told manufacturers have coupon deals for specific stores & they will only honor the coupon if it is used at that store. Hope this helps.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

That's exactly what we've been told in store. Even though they are MQs, and commonly start with “5” so they are strictly MQs, 99% of the time they say “redeemable only at__” and even when it just says “available at__” or has the store logo, it's because the manufacturer and the store have a deal in place to run the coupon to encourage shopping at that store, and they aren't meant to be used elsewhere. Whether or not they get reimbursed is beyond me, because we were told to not accept them, so I've never heard a true yes or no.

          • Sandy

Last year when they were giving out that glam bag inside I got a coupon for a bodywash and on the actual coupon it said redeemable at Walgreens. I would like to see Rite Aid give me a hard time about that one.

            • Sandy

Bodycology! That was what the coupon was for. “Available at Walgreens”. Can't help but laugh. Thank you, Rite Aid, but I'll stick to shopping at your stores.

            • Paige_Aminehdestin

That's kind of funny. I bet that was included since it was a third party “rebate” item. Still comical though, that it was linked through a Rite Aid promotion. Oversight?

    • Amanda

Is the Cordicin and the Afrin part of the Heart Healthy Reward?

      • Kate

        Yes it is!!

    • SavNky

Hey Jenny, Just a heads-up…under the $5 ups wyb Prevacid….you have coupons listed for Prilosec. Thanks for all your hard work! Your site is the best!

    • Ospinasgirl00

There was a $2 off any Huggies coupon in the 1/23 SS.

    • Klbrown621

There is a coupon for $2 off Huggies, so you can get one pack for $4.49 instead. Also, there is a b1g1 gatorade coupon which will make gatorade $0.50 each. Huggies Tub Wipes are also on sale 2/$4 and with a $1 off coupon makes them 2/$3 just so everyone knows.

      • Jenni

What $1 off wipes coupon are you referring to?

        • Klbrown621

Sorry, it is a $1.05 iff one tub, but if you have two like I do then it is $1 off.

          • Klbrown621

That was $0.50 off one not $1.05 off one. Sorry for the typo.

      • Ladybugpam

Do Not Buy Huggies! They leak horribly! Any money you save on this deal will be spent on extra laundry detergent cleaning up after the messes they make. I am returning my unopened boxes this week…please do not make the same mistake I did.

        • lauren

I have found that the Huggies “snug and dry” leak quite often for me, but the “Little Movers” have been quite good and rarely leak.

        • Marycansave

Huggies have always worked wonderfully for all 4 of my children.

        • RachelA

I love Huggies diapers. No leaks here:)

        • Meguardo

I ONLY buy Huggies! Every child’s “booty” is different and every brand fits different! Find what works best for you and use it but don’t tell others not to buy a perfectly fine product!

    • Deb

Says $3Q for Viactiv is in SS1/16…don't see it on Jenny's list for SS1/16. Is the date a mistake?

      • Couponlisa78

Nope, it's right. I found it in my AJC.

      • wendyd

it is a regional coupon, did not get it here in charlotte n.c.

    • Klynn

There is also a $6 q for CoQ10 in Feb. all you mag.

    • wolverinehokie

Where do you get the Diabetes & You magazine?

      • sweetmarie

I thought I just read that they can be found at Walgreens by the pharmacy. I too am curios how to get it. Perhaps they have them at all pharmacies. Anybody know for sure?

        • Julie

I have that magazine from Walgreens (back by the pharmacy) and on the Neuragen coupon is says “good only at Walgreens” even though it is a MF coupon. So, I'm not sure RA would get reimbursed for it.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

Wasn't their a $10 Neuagen MQ released a little bit ago? For some reason I'm remembering one and the $5 coupon. Or maybe someone left one of those books behind at the store and while cleaning up I opened it and saw it. People leave them behind all the time.

          • guest

If it is a MF coupon then RA should take it. It should scan automatically but if not a good cashier or manager will know to read the coupon, realize it is legitimate, and manually put the discount in.

            • GA~mommy

If a cashier has to manually push a coupon through the store does not get reimbursed.

            • Rty33

That's not true! They get reimbursed for legitimate coupons that are used legitimately.

        • Jenni

I just called a Walgreens, and YES, their pharmacy has this magazine, for FREE, while supplies last. Which makes me grateful that no one should need more than one, because this coupon makes this a $10 MM!

        • Debrah52

I just made a special trip to Walgreens to get the magazine and the $10 coupon is only good at Walgreens. It says redeemable only at Walgreens:(

    • kcreviews

Warning: The Coricidin coupon prints at the BOTTOM of the page, so if you're trying to save paper, be careful! I just wasted mine because it printed directly on the other side of another coupon.

      • WynetteC

I hate when that happens but I appreciate your heads up! I've done that countless times so I know how you feel. Plus it always seems to happen on those valuable coupons that I really needed and thus I enter the dilemma of which one to choose, lol.

        • Aunt_DeeDee

Just make a copy of it if you have a copier and throw away the one that messed up it waste paper but at least you don't have to loose the coupon

    • 3monkeysmom

      Great deal on the Edy's ice cream. 6 @ $2.99= $17.94- (6) $2 UPs= $5.94- $5 UP for buying $15 worth= 94 cents!!
Of course, this is assuming there's no limit :)

      • heather

That is so funny!! I got excited about the Edy's too! However, I didn't notice the 5Ups when buying 15 worth of product…..I just saw the 20Ups when buying 100 worth of product. Sooooo, I figured if I got 34 Edy's I would be paying .40 cents per after all the Ups!! But now it looks like my scenario would be even sweeter (lol) with the extra 5 Up!! Only .25!!!!!!!! Ok, I know I'm getting a little carried away with this scenario, but it is fun to think about!!

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Good luck finding a store with that much! :-) Vendor items like ice cream, at least in my general area, don't have much room in the store, so we never have too much. I think we may only have about the 34 that you would need for the scenario, TOTAL! lol. And that might be a stretch. That poor little shelf just can't hold too much.

          • 3monkeysmom

LOL!! I was just going to say that….I think it would be a miracle if the Rite Aid I shop at even has the 6 I want, much less 34!!

        • 3monkeysmom

Lol! You do know you don't just have to buy ice cream for that $20 UP right???
Hope you have a BIG freezer!!!

    • Bree

      I have a coupon question,
if i matched the buy one get one 50% off sale on the bic razers
with a B1G1 coupon, how much would I have to pay?

      • artlady

You would likely end up getting the 50% off item for free, since it is a lesser value… which means that it doesn't make a difference whether you buy it on sale or not.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Absolutely right. Most coupons state “for equal or lesser value” and we've been told that even if it doesn't, that is how coupons are supposed to be taken. You could on the other hand, buy 4 at B1G1 50% and use the B1G1 coupon to get one full price one for free, pay for one and get two at 50% (So, 4 for the cost of 2). Or, use 2 B1G1 coupons and get 4 for the B1G1 50% sale price (so 4 for the cost of 1.5). :-)

          • Sandy H

I've got oodles of these b1g1's as well as 3 of the $2 off. I'd like to utilize them to the best advantage.

    • melissa

So, a store in Summerville, SC is saying someone has been using a $5 Rite Aid coupon at the store this week. They are thinking it is counterfit since Rite Aid stopped that program. Is it possible someone has a “real” one or do we think counterfit? I would hate for someone to ruin the whole competitor coupon idea at Publix…

      • Toon0288

my guess is counterfit. while there are still a few valid $5 dollar off rite aid coupons (there was one realeased last yr that i dont think expired until march), i dont know why anyone who actually uses them wouldnt have used it already. and if it was cashed at a publix thats suspicious too because they wouldnt scan it, but type it in (i think?) which means it wouldnt beep.

        • Phillis

I had one in my wellness account earlier this month that does not expire until Jan 31st.

          • Syndilew

Me too. It came directly from Rite Aid in PDF format.

            • Meguardo

I had one in my wellness account also! Since I had not been to Rite Aid for awhile I used it at Publix and I live in Summerville, SC! So I wonder if you are talking about me! Was I wrong to use it?

            • Donna

I'm glad you guys mentioned this – I always forget to check the wellness account online (I'm used to getting e-mails for special offers). I have a $5/25 coupon too!

So, this are clearly some legit coupons out there in pdf form too. I sure hope my store doesn't give me any grief when I try to use it since it was issued by corporate to people's wellness accounts!

            • Anonymous

It’s in PDF format, but yours is serialized for one time use only, so don’t share the PDF with anyone, because the first time it’s scanned, is the only time it won’t beep “already used”! They put them in PDF form, I guess because it’s easier to do than to find a new format, but the barcode won’t end in the expiration date, which makes it one coupon, for one use, rather than multiple prints and multiple uses. :-) They at least learned their lesson a little bit there.

            • Anonymous

Thanks, Paige! Nope, I wouldn’t share a coupon like that since I know it’s linked to my card. It’s mine all mine & I’ll be using it tomorrow before it expires! :)

Yeah, I imagine they got burned with the old pdf’s, but I’m glad they’re still sending out random ones to benefit those of us who shop there a lot!

      • jessica

There was a PDF Rite Aid $5 coupon that was released that is still good. Rite Aid stopped taking them, but then got complaints and then issued a statement saying they ARE taking all the existing PDF coupons good for $5 off a $25 purchase, as long as the coupons have not expired. So this is a valid coupon. Some people printed dozens of the PDF coupons, so that could be why they are using them at Publix.

        • jessica

Also, I forgot to mention this, but some people use coupons for stores they don't even shop at for Publix. I don't shop at Piggly Wiggly or Dollar General, but if they release a $5/$25 coupon, I will get the coupon just to use at Publix. So they might not be a Rite Aid shopper, but might have just seen it as an opportunity to use the coupons at Publix.

          • lookin4abargain

I had one in my wellness account. It's a legitimate printable. It expires sometime in Jan.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

All of the PDFs expired at the end of the year though. The only way someone has gotten their hands on one that isn't expired is through their Wellness account, which is serialized for one time use, but is in PDF form. Not everyone gets them, but so far, I don't know how they choose who to send them to. It's possible that someone got one, and even though they can only use one at RA, they realized that printing multiples helps lower costs at Publix, since obviously they don't scan the coupon and it come up “already used”. Or, they could not use it at RA and be legitimately using it once at Publix.

          • lori

Paige – Just FYI, I have a legit $5/25 coupon from a kids coupon book that my school sold as a fundraiser. The expiration date is sometime in August. I'm hoping they are still good, since RA is claiming to accept legit coupons, and this is not a pdf….

            • Paige_Aminehdestin

I'm sure the coupons like that are fine, I'm talking strictly about the PDF coupons. Those that could be printed over and over and over again, and there was no way for stores to really limit them. You have an actual coupon, rather than a printable, so you shouldn't have any trouble using it.

            • Stephan

hi, I have a coupon book with that 5off25, too. I actually also got the coupons from my mother in law and sister in law's kids coupon books, and I already used 5 of them. Works fine! These coupon books are the best! I use these 5/25 ones when I used my 4/20 one already.

    • susansaver

There is a $2 off Almay product coupon in the SS 1/23 (from the Tennessean – Nashville) which should make for cheap makeup combined with the SCR!

    • CCShad

anyone have good zipcode for $3 Afrin q?

      • artlady

I couldn’t find it on coupons.com… but, when you go to the Afrin site, it has a link near the bottom that sends you right to a $2 off coupon! Better than nothing! :)

      • artlady

I couldn't find the $3 coupon from the link, but if you go to the Afrin website, there is a link near the bottom that brings you right to a $2 off coupon! Better than nothing, right? :)

        • Mjclark1977

Thanks! I couldn't find the $3 coupon either but like you said $2 is better than nothing :)

    • Jenni

What a GREAT week! I am so excited, not only for the money-makers, but that so much of these items are really useful (vitamins, soap, juice, dental care, and diapers!)

    • Christy

There is also a $1 UP on the Lay's Stax thru March making them free this week!!!

    • Anonymous

If you buy any Nature Made items, don’t forget to to to naturemade.com and register for an account…then you can enter the codes that are on the bottles to get reward points. Once you get a certain # of points, you can get various things…right now if you get 500 points, they’ll send you a $7/1 coupon, for example.

With what I bought last week and the ones I’ll buy this week, I’ll be over the points requirement and will be looking forward to my $7 coupon! :)

    • artlady

Ahhh! :) I just had a super awesome trip for me to Rite Aid earlier… (CA stores in my area run sales Fri-Thurs)… I got:

      Trans. 1:
      1 Corcidin 5.99 (-2 man. and -2 store Q)
      1 Afrin 5.99 (-2 man. and -2 store Q)
      2 Colgate (- (2) 1 man. Qs)
      – 7.96 +ups
      = only tax (1.28)
      Got back: 4, 4, 2, 2 +ups

      Trans. 2:
      4 Lays Stax 4.00
      1 chex mix 1.50 (- .50 store Q)
      1 New York Bagel Crisps 1.50 (- .75 man. Q)
3 Dreyers Ice Cream (it's Dreyers instead of Edy's over here) 8.97
      2 Dove chocolate bags (- 1 man. and 1 store Q)
      – 17 +ups
      = 1.48!

That's 2.76 for all of that… probably one of the best trips I've ever had. P.S. – if you are fairly new to Rite Aid like me, make sure to log onto video values rewards. You can watch videos about the Wellness+ program, Pharmacy program, and Winter Rewards program to earn an extra $1.00 coupon on any non-prescription purchase each! Also, this may be old news…. but earlier on my VV page, it had a Winter Rewards Bonus coupon for $2.00 when I watched 10 qualifying videos. Can't pass up free money! :)

      • artlady

oh, and I forgot to say that after transaction #2, I earned 16 +ups!!!! woohooo!! :)

did you get up's on the Lay's stax??? Also i heard someone say the Afrin Up is printing out with a date of 1/29 (tomorrow???) You??

        • artlady

I did get ups on the Lays stax! I was super excited. I only bought 4 of them, but I got 5 “food group” 1.00 ups back… so one of the other food items also triggered a 1.00 up… not sure which one it was.

For the Afrin, I'm sorry, but I can't check :( I did two transactions pretty much back to back and used the Afrin ups right after I got it.

      • Michelle

Do you know if there's a limit on the Afrin UPs? I see that you bought only one, but I thought you might have noticed whether there was a limit posted. Thanks!

        • artlady

I don't remember seeing a limit posted, but I'm really not for sure.

        • coralie

i bought 3 today. got all the ups.

    • Awsixweavers

Can you split your Healthy Heart promotion (10rr/$30 or 20rr/$50)? I did the 10/30 and am wondering if I spend another $20 will I receive the additional 10rr?

      • Paulhowe37

i received mine in 2 seperate transactions

    • WynetteC

Is is just me or is the new Rite Aid Video Values site hard to understand? I knew how to work the old system, but now I keep going to the wrong page. When I click ALL Offers it takes me to a non link type page that lists all the offers available but there is no clickable option to enter that category to watch them. I seriously am more confused with this interface than I was with the last one. Perhaps there is an easier way to understand it, if anyone knows a way that seems to work well, please help! I surely do need it lol! :)

      • Klynn

Yes it is. I can't see but half of the boxes that come up under the video. I have to go back to all offers everytime to see what else there is that I want to watch. What was wrong with the way they used to do it?

        • 3monkeysmom

Believe it or not there is actually an arrow there…..I was like you the first couple of times. Then I finally noticed it….it's so light it blends in with the background color and it's barely noticable :(

      • 3monkeysmom

You are not alone :) I can't stand what they did to it….the old way was much simpler.

      • Melba

I was confused also. But on the type page I clicked on afrin and it took me to the video with frin displayed.

    • Dixiegirlinafrica05

How long will the winter rewards be running? Is it just this week or will it be for a couple weeks longer?

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

It ends at the end of the month. I think it said Feb. 26th.

    • Shandrikaj

Does anyone know if the limit is one or two on the Prilosec UP reward since you have to buy two in the same transaction for the $25 rebate? TIA!

    • Aunt_DeeDee

ok so once again I went to riteaid and once again I had to call 1800riteaid because I bought the lightbulb and not knowing there was a limit I got 10 however up rewards only printed for 6 and also you have to get to the$100.00 after coupons I bought 5 for $10.00 and used my$10 up on 2 nd transaction and my receipt says only $10.00 toward $100.00. I wish riteaid would get on the same page as their ad

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The light bulbs don't seem to be adding up right with the Winter Rewards. It's not the coupons causing the problem. We didn't get signs saying that those bulbs were actually a part of the deal, so I'm think that may be part of the problem, but that's just a guess. I've heard that they're in the process of “fixing” it. As for the limit, our store was told of the limit just after the ad was printed. They'd set a limit and it wasn't printed, so even before we had the ad in store, we had signs to go up for when they went on sale stating that there is a limit of 6. We put them in the front of the store, as well as on the shelves in every location the light bulbs are merchandised. Your store should have also had these printed and displayed, because corporate truly was on top of the limit this time.

    • hbomb80

Can anyone tell me if you get up rewards for the individual items in addition to the large one for spending a certain amount in that category? For example, if I buy 3 metamucils, will I get a $3 up reward for each one PLUS the $10 up reward for spending $30?. Or will I only get one $3 up now matter how many I buy?

      • coralie

        you will get all $19.

    • wendyd

is there a limit on the heart healthy rewards. i did the nature made deal and got $20 ups. can i do the same with the afrin and viactiv and get another $20 or is it aone time deal?

      • Sis2

Limit one per household. If you are unsure of a limit, look in the Feb SCR booklet which is by the ads in the front of every store. It lists the limits.

    • amberc

If you buy $15 worth of Pepsi products will you get a $5 up for the “Your Game Promotion”? If so then if you buy 6 at $3.33 then you will get $2 up, $2 up and $5 up making that $10.98 for 6, 12 packs. Is this correct or not? Thank you!!

      • Melirish

the pop is limit one +up. so you can only get the 2+up once.

    • Courtney

found a $2.00 coupon for the Amo complete solution from their homepage

Don't waste your ink on this coupon. It's Canadian and won't work in the US. Note the .ca/ in the web address.

          • Bamabobbie

Thanky, thanky. $2.00 is better that $1.00 since I give these away.

            • phillipskr

Those coupons will not work. The redemption address is in Canada. Paige (see comment above) is a rite aid manager and she knows what she is talking about. Please do not try to use these.

      • wolverinehokie

I found the coupon you were talking about, but the bar code doesn't look right. It looks like a Canadian coupon. Are theirs different than US coupons? Are you sure it will work?

        • Courtney

I am not sure if it will work or not, im kinda new to all this

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

If it's the same one that's been out for a while, it is a Canadian coupon and can't be scanned here.

I think the online coupon is for the .17 Neuragen so, you can't use it for the product that has the SCR

anyone know where to find better Huggies coupons? 2-3 dollars off?

      • Jenni

        SS 1/23/11

    • wolverinehokie

Make sure you get the $4/20, $2 off any, and (2) $1 of any coupons from the Rite Aid video values.

      • Justine Tamayo

I can't find a box to check to print the bonus ($4/$20 & $2) coupons. Did anyone figure this out?

        • Liz

I had to click on that category again to get it to come up. After you watch all the beauty videos, click on the beauty rewards category again, it'll say you earned all the credits, push the button on that screen for my rewards. Then do it for the winter rewards. That's how I got them to pop up.

    • Cathy C

Ok, a question about the Heart Healthy +Up reward
Last week, I bought nature made vitamins totaling $32.36, so I got a $10+Up for buying $30 worth.
So if I buy $18 worth tomorrow, which would bring my total up to $50 in HH products, would I get the other $10+Up for buying $50 worth of Heart Healthy stuff???
      Does that make sense?

      • Courtney

        im wondering the same thing

      • Ashley

Yes, Heart Healthy is tracking like CVS does. As long as you buy the qualifying items in the promo, it will print. Only the fish oil and Coq10 qualfiy I believe and maybe Vit D so you'll want to check for sure on that.

      • Cathy C

Just wanted to add an “update” to answer my own question that yes, this worked!
I bought 3 of the Coricidin HBP, totaling 17.97
Used $6 worth of MQ, one $2 VV Q and paid with $9Ups and change.
Got back 3-$4 Ups for the Coricidin and a $10Up for bringing my Heart Health total up to $50 worth of purchases.
        woohoo!

    • Fallaya

I apologize if this has been asked before, but do the Heart Healthy items have to be purchased in one transaction, or can you purchase them in separate transactions and get the reward (like you can with the Winter Rewards)?

      • coralie

        you can do separate transactions.

    • Ree

Are the Affrin prints no longer available?? I don't see it on coupons(dot)com

      • artlady

go to the Afrin website; I found a printable $2 off Q on there.

    • Sandy

Does anyone know where the Neuragen is located in the store? I have a feeling my local Rite Aid employees will have no idea! :)

      • tommyp

Neuragen gel is located in the pain relief section

        • Sandy

Thanks everyone! I found the gel in the pain relief section. To my surprise they had a lot and it had an SCR sign.

      • Kameria23

Neuragen is located in the diabetic section in front of the RX in my store

      • Sweetncygirl

Sometimes they keep in back in the pharmacy. It is a high priced merchandise and some people have been known to shelf swipe it.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

We have a couple locations for it, but the majority is at the very end of the analgesics aisle, kind of underneath the PM meds and other sleep aids. I know all stores are merchandised differently, but check there, if not check the diabetic endstand or directly in front of pharmacy.

      • Lori

In my store, it was back by the eye solution, which is near the pharmacy. Would have never thought to look there, but another couponer showed me. Good thing, too – there was only one RA employee working this AM…

    • Sandy H

Forgive my denseness please but when Jenny posts all the coupons under the item that is on sale, are we to use ALL of them if we have them or are these what are available or have been distributed?

      • Ashley

These are all the available coupons out there for the item. So, only 1 coupon per item can be used. If you have a $1/2, that is the only q that can be used on those 2 items as well since that's what the q states. Also, you have to use your own discretion sometimes b/c you will notice coupons in her list that do not match up. For example, under Airwick Aqua Free Air Freshner, she listed a B1G1 Freshmatic Refill q. This q actually does not match in any way and can't be used, so these lists should be used as a guide.

        • Sandy H

thanks Ashley–I'm still getting the hang of it.

      • DD

At Rite Aid you can use more than one coupon on any one item. You can use two ra coupons as long as they are different TYPES of RA coupons. You can match those two up with a manufacturers coupon, and then use your plus ups. You can then turn around and get rebates on the items you got for free and earn CASH back on them if a rebate is available. Read the coupon policy for more info on how to tell the difference between the different types of ra coupons :D

    • Frugal4eva

Listerine was normal price, $5.49 at my Rite Aid. What's the deal with the $3.99? Am I missing something? Thanks!

      • Sb

        The sale starts tomorrow

        • Frugal4eva

OOOOHhhhh thank you so much! I was having anxiety over it. First time trying to figure out the Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens deals. Just started last week with grocery stores. So far so good.

      • DD

She has listed the sales prices that begin on the 30th. TOMORROW :)

    • Sweety Pie32

The $10 coupon I found in the Diabetes and You magazine says it can only be redeemed at Walgreens. However, it is a manufacturer coupon. Can I use it at Rite Aid?

      • Jenni

I noticed that myself, and I'm pretty sure that it won't be allowed. But I'm going to ask. It never hurts to ask.

      • Lori

I used it af ew hours ago at RA, no problems, it scanned just fine. YMMV according to the cashier.

    • Olisa56

Is anybody else having trouble printing the Benefiber coupon from the manufactor website. Every time I click the coupon button it says internet explorer can not be displayed. All other webpages and links seems to be working fine. Is this an overload on the coupon link? TIA

    • Anon

I can't believe the Omron Deluxe Blood Pressure Monitor doesn't qualify for the Heart Health Promotion.

    • TrevorD

I am wondering if the Transactions Jenny posted is going to work. She has us getting Double up rewards back for both the Viactiv and Afrin/Coricidin UP rewards. As she has sated in the section on couponing for Rite Aid…..”Can I buy more than one of a +UP deal? All +UP deals are supposed to be a limit of one. During the launch of the program the computers were letting everyone get as many deals as they wanted but we will see more and more limits imposed as the system goes into full effect.”

      • Jenni

The limit of one is very rarely enforced by the computer. If anything, occasionally a store manager will enforce such a limit in order to keep people from clearing the shelves.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The limit of one was taken out a couple weeks (maybe two months) of the program starting. I think Jenny hasn't changed it, because no one was sure for a little while there if there would be a limit or not. Most of the time, the only time there's a limit, it should either be printed in the ad, or there will be signs on the shelves setting a limit that wasn't in the ad.

    • Webby

My ad has a wrap around with in-ad coupons:
-$5 Centrum Silver Vitamins, 110 ct.
      -$3 Enfamil Powder Formula
-$2 Listerine Mouthwash 1 liter or Reach Toothbrush 2 ct. (Zero is not included)
      -$5 Nexxus Hair Care
      -$2 Neosporin 0.5 oz
-$2 Mucinex DM or Mucinex D 24-40 ct
-$3 Claritin or Claritin-D 12 Hour, 15 ct or larger
      -$2 Advil, 100 ct. or Liqui-Gels 80 ct.

    • couponqueenatlanta

does anyone know if you can break up the healthy heart promotion – ie – purchasing in different transactions or different stores? Or does it all have to be in 1 transaction?

      • guest37

Yes, you can can break it up into separate transactions.

    • Drseusnc

can someone please tell me the zipcode for the listerine? i thought i had a coupon, but… Thanks in advance

    • Kacy52

Today I tried to do the Afrin deal with the $2 RiteAid Video Values q as well as the $3 manufacturer's q and the manager would not allow it. She told me I had to buy two products to use two coupons. I tried to explain that one was a RA q and the other a manufacturer q but she still declined. I politely asked her to just void the Afrin from my purchase. She ended up adding the Afrin twice to my bill & deleting all of the coupons I had used for all of my purchases. After 40 minutes of her trying to correct this mistake, I was finally refunded my money. I think this may be my last trip to RA for a long time!

      • Sb

I would call 1800riteaid tomorrow and tell them what happened. You can definitely use both coupons. The manager needs to be corrected and made aware of her store policies. The coupon policy in in the top corner of this page. Print it out and take it with you next time you go. Sorry, you had a bad experience.

      • Rhiannon353

Definitely call the 800 number and be sure to share how frustrating it was for you, and that it made you not want to go back to Rite Aid. I had a similar problem with a manager, which brought me to tears and made me not want to go back, and called the number to make a formal complaint (you have to state that you want to make a complaint). It seemed like pain having to explain it multiple times, but I got a call from the district manager, who sent me a gift card for $25 to encourage me to come back. And I have been going, and I love my trips to Rite Aid now, although I normally go to a different store than the one I had trouble with.

        • Donna

Yeah, please call the 800 number as Rhiannon suggested. She was clearly wrong if you look at their online coupon policy (Jenny has a link to it at the top of this post on the right hand side under “rite aid links”. I have a copy that I printed out and keep folded up in my purse in case I ever need it, but I've been really lucky with my local stores.

Per their own policy, you can use up to 3 coupons on ONE item (an in-ad Rite Aid coupon, a video values coupon, and a manufacturer coupon). Clearly that woman doesn't know the policies and calling the 800 number will get the manager to refresh everyone on the policies and hopefully help not just you (if you choose to go back there), but also everyone else who goes in there with a coupon in the future.

          • Kacy52

thanks everyone for the tips! i will definitely be calling tomorrow.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

If you don't want to make the call, since I know a lot of customers don't want to file a complaint, print the policy and take it with you. If she still declines to follow policy, you'll have to file that complaint, or even just ask for the district manager's office number and let them know, because without fail, they will call the store and tell them that they were wrong.

      • wendyd

the same thing happened to me the cahier said i could not use the manu coupons because i was using the Ad perks, so i told her that it was the policy to take both. The manager came over and told her that i was correct so he punched them in with not problem. Big deal since this manager hates coupons. Sorry you had a hard time.

      • CCShad

I was hesitant about the 2 qs for the Afrin, b/c the Riteaid q says it is a manufacturers q. But I asked first, and they had no problem taking both for one product. This is the Mt. Pleasant, SC store and they were very professional.

      • GUEST

Definitely Call the store and ask to for the phone number to their District Managers Office. Everyone that calls corporate to file a complaint gets logged into the system and it then goes to the District Manager and sent to the store. Majority of the time when the complaint comes into the store, GUESS WHAT?, the store manager gets to call the customer and apologize for an inconvenience and resolve the situation. With that being said, save yourself a step and just call and ask for the DM’s office number.

    • Livserge331

Figured out an even better scenario for the heart health items.
      1 Viactiv 6.99 (1 $2 MC)
      5 Colgate 14.95 (5 $1 MC)
      3 Afrin 17.97 (1 $2 SC, 3 $3 MC)
      2 Coricidin 11.98(1 $2 SC, 2 $2 MC)
      Total $51.89
      Coupons $24
      = $27.89 OOP
Get $33 in individual ups, $20 in bonus ups
      Profit = over $25!!!

I get 3 Sunday papers and 2 All Yous, which is how I have 5 of the Colgate coupons. If you don't have that many, it won't work of course. Or if the store doesn't have some of the items. I made up this scenario and I'm taking Jenny's so that I can adjust depending on what they have in stock.

    • Christie

My RA didn't get in any of the Viactiv or the Proglide razors on their truck this week so I had to rethink my scenario on the fly. I still made a small profit, but nothing like I would have if I could have bought the Viactiv. Oh well. Can't win 'em all. I still got free diapers!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Yeah, I warned my SM about the Viactiv and watched her order up on it, then checked the counts last night, and the most we have of any flavor is 6, none of which we got on truck. grr.

        • Jenni

My store has a hard time getting sale items in stock, but I can't figure out if it is corporate's fault, or perhaps not ordering enough early enough on the manager's part. She's not very coupon friendly, so I'm thinking perhaps it might be both, at least.

          • becky

I love my store manager and she's actually talked to me about ordering alot of an item and only getting a few in. It makes it hard on them!

          • Fallaya

My store only had 4 packs of Dixie plates when the store opened at 9am!! Ridiculous!

    • Courtney

in my riteaid aid its showing colgate is b1g1 free not 2 up with it. (just noticed this after going and not getting the up rewards for that)

I am going to have to call cs tommorow though because my 2nd recipt ended up not doing my winter savings (make sure they scan your card first it can mess up your reciept if you don't. It shows up as just a riteaid savings card and not wellness +).
Other then that great day, 90 dollars worth of stuff for 4.00 oop, will submit for 30.00 rebates and still have $21 ups left.

      • susansaver

There are 2 different Colgate deals. The one that prints the UP reward is the 4oz tube. I bought 2 today and they rang up $2.99 each and printed the UP's.

        • Courtney

i saw that after i posted :p oh well, i got 2 toothpastes, and 2 toothbrushes (attached to it) for 4 bucks total not to bad

    • Donna

Just had 2 killer transactions today! Normally I don't do 2 in one day, but I had to hit both nearby RA's since the first was out of what I needed to do my big purchase (using my $5/25 wellness account coupon that expires tomorrow).

      1st:
      2 x Angel Soft 4-packs @ 0.97 ea = $1.94
      2 x Dawn dish soap (1 regular + 1 renewal) @ 0.97 ea = $1.94
      2 x Dixie paper plates @ 3.99 B1G1F = $3.99
used $3/2 RA Dixie coupon, 0.50/1 dawn renewal, 0.25/1 dawn regular
      used $3.98 +UP's
      TOTAL = $0.14 plus tax

      2nd:
      2 x Angel Soft 4-packs @ 0.97 ea = $1.94
      2 x Dawn dish soap (1 regular + 1 renewal) @ 0.97 ea = $1.94
      2 x Bounty paper towels @ 0.97 ea = $1.94
      1 x Gas-x extra strength soft gels sale $10.99 = $10.99
      2 x Nature Made Odorless Fish Oil $11.49 B1G1F = $11.49
      used $5/25 RA bonus, $3 gas-x, $3 nature made, 0.50/1 dawn renewal, 0.25/1 dawn regular, 2 x 0.25 bounty
      used $16 +UP's
      TOTAL = $0.05 plus tax
got back $10 +UP's (finishing off my $20 for $50 heart health)

Woo hoo! Both trips almost free (+ tax) and have $10 +UP's left for next time…one of my best days yet! And last week & this week's sales were really good since the items were so USEFUL (vitamins, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc). Awesome!

I even had a nice chat with the cashier at the 2nd rite aid store – she was amazed and said she had to start doing this too! I told her about Southern Savers and she said a lot of people had mentioned it to her before, but she didn't have time. I told her how simple and quick it is if you follow Jenny's tips and she said she's going to check it out. YAY – another Southern Savers convert, maybe! :)

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

That's how I learned about the site. I had enough customers mention it and one other and started trying to navigate the sites. :-)

        • Donna

That's awesome that you take the time to learn abou the couponing – not just for yourself, but as a RA employee! :) I'm sure the couponing customers in your store are much happier since you guys know the rules, and how these deals are stacked. :)

    • guest

Does anyone know what the up reward limit is for the Eddy's ice cream?

      • $avin'some$

.i believe you can get as many of the $2UP for each individual ones as you want, but you'll only get the additional $5 for $15 purchase once.

        • rty33

Remember to save some ice cream for others!!

    • Alison

I had a great trip to Rite Aid this morning. I did the first transaction with the Heart Healthy promo with $50 of stuff including two Afrins and two Coricidin and I got all of the UPs for the individual stuff and the great news is that I got two $10 UPs for the promo and not just one $20 one!!!!!!! I was so excited that I didn't have to worry about spending another $20 up reward in one transaction. It helped me to get rid of all of my up rewards that were expiring in the next week!!!!!!! I also had a note at the bottom of the third transaction that said that I have over $80 towards the new program to get another $20 up rewards. How exciting since it was under $5 oop :)

    • wendyd

WOOHOO! Got $241.00 worth of deals at the Rite Aid this morning for only $16.23 and 31 ups for next week. Thanks Jenny for all the hard work you put into helping us save $$$. p.s. Hubby went with me to help (we had 3 carts full) and he could not believe it, never have to hear any more complaints about those early morning newspaper runs, again. hehehe :)

      • Tigergrl

Sounds GREAT!! Share your deals please :)

    • Jennifer

Sorry if this has already been asked. But, does anyone know if the get $5 Up for $15 purchases up your game promotion is really just one? I know in the ad it says one, but I didn't know if anyone had tried it out to see if that was true. Thanks.

      • ChrissyPunkin

I've heard that it is definitely only one.

    • Livserge331

Hmm… even though I was thrilled that everything was well stocked, I only ended up getting a $10 up instead of $20. I got 2 Viactivs, 3 Colgates, 3 Afrins, and 2 Coricidins, which should have been just under $53. I don't know if the Rite Aid coupons I used took off the total? There were also some difficulties because the 3rd Afrin MC would not scan, and the neither Coricidin MC would. The general manager came out, who's really nice, and explained that they couldn't manually enter coupon values any more, because there was a recent report that said out of 4000 stores, their store was in the top ten for most manually entered coupons, which doesn't look good! I totally understood, but he wanted to make the deal work for me, which was really more than I expected. We ended up doing it in three transactions, all the coupons were accepted, but something went wrong somewhere, I guess. I'll probably go back before the week is out and maybe try buying the vitamins. I wish there was a total on the receipt that showed how close I was to getting the rest of the Heart Healthy promotion. Oh well. At this point, I've still come out ahead, and if I do decide to buy the vitamins, the $4.99 OOP might snag me another $10 up, so yay for that!

      • Jenni

Did you make sure your total you went by was before taxes? I know that trips me up sometimes.

      • DD

Ok there are different promotions going on right now. A Healthy Heart one which I do not BELIEVE Afrin is a part of. I could be wrong on that so double check me. If Im right. Go back, return the all the stuff for a gift card (except the afrin) have them ring it all up again, and add whatever you need thats included in the Healthy Heart promotion to boost it up to 50. Pay with the gift card and pay the remaining balance with any coupons plus ups or cash. See if you get it then. But first double check me on the Afrin. Afrin is part of the Winter Rewards promotion. You gotta watch those ads CLOSELY.

      • Gina

Ok…I think I know what your problem is :0) If you qualify for the 10% or 20% reward off regular priced items…This could have brought your total under the $50 amount…Look at your receipt & add up the actual price you paid on each item…If you are at the 20% off discount level, this would have brought the afrin & coricidin to $5.59 instead of the sale price of $5.99 (which I pay at the 10% level) If you are buying at the 20% level…I am sure this would have brought your total purchase price under the $50 mark…If so you will need to buy one more item to reach that amount…I am not sure of all the prices because I didn’t buy them…I did get the afrin & coricidin so I know the regular price shown on receipt…You have to be careful when you are at a discounted rate through the rite aid program, because you have the potential of being just under that amount…Hope this helps :0)

      • Johnandleah

I had a similar issue and was planning on call in the 800# in the morning, but after looking at the heart health list of products, I realized only the chocolate viactiv are on the list. I got 2 caramel so those didn't count. So weird!

      • Amie

I had a similar experience. I had to break up my purchase because state law indicated that I was buying too much cold medicine. I bought all but 1 in the first transaction and got a 10 +up but I was trying for the 20+up. For my second transaction, I bought one Coricidin and only got a 4 +up. Then I bought completely unrelated items and a second 10+up printed. The manager told me that sometimes there's a lag in time. Maybe you'll get it with your next transaction.

        • DD

Ten to fifteen minutes IF doing multiple transactions. Im stumped on that one still! I just dont get it. But whatever. lol

        • Guest

The Heart Health Reward is supposedly adding everything up with your transactions just like the Winter Rewards is doing. It did it on mine last week.

    • Fallaya

My boyfriend basically implied that I was “stealing” from RA, because I often get things for a low (or zero) out of pocket costs by using coupons. He said, “The company is losing money because you're not putting much money in their tills”. I explained to him that the company gets reimbursed for the coupons I use, plus they get 8 cents profit. He honestly didn't understand how coupons worked. Even though he said he didn't mean to imply anything, it still hurt my feelings. I feel like giving up my coupon usage because of his remarks. Has anyone ever experienced this? I mean, I can take it from strangers who feel I'm stealing, because I know I'm not, but when a LOVED ONE says something like that, it hurts deep down inside….

      • Mel

That's a tough one. My husband jokes with me about it but I know he understands. He calls it “legalized stealing.” But I've had friends who don't get it say things. It's the store's choice to put certain things on sale and give UP rewards, etc. so hopefully they have someone up at the top who's smart enough to not let the place go out of business (and I think they're doing okay because we're seeing MORE deals lately and not LESS). And you're right about the coupons. Think of them as gift cards–little mini gift cards. They will be reimbursed for them. You're just smart enough to use your “gift cards” (er… coupons) at a time when prices are low due to sales. Good for you!

      • AshATL

The stores spend a lot of money printing their own ads and coupons and so do the manufacturers – they do it as a marketing tool and plan for it in their pricing, etc. If Rite Aid were losing money, it would stop printing coupons, wouldn't it? Manufacturers do the same thing. Combining the two isn't stealing – it's smart. And point out to your boyfriend that when Rite Aid returns your 50 cents off coupon to the manufacturer and gets back 8 cents, they just made a 16% return on their money. Do you know of any bank right now where you could get a 16 cent return on your dollar? Or even 8 cents, assuming it was a $1.00 off coupon? The stores have the choice whether or not to accept coupons, and they would not be so aggressively putting them out there if they weren't profiting, and they would stop if their incomes were really drying up. Your boyfriend just needs to be educated – show him some of Jenny's materials on why the stores are not losing money. Don't stop doing something that is not morally wrong AND is saving you money because of what he says. You are being smart, unlike most consumers out there, which in the long run will be good for you and your eventual family. As long as you are not trying to violate the store's policy or use counterfeit coupons, etc., you are perfectly right and should continue saving.

      • Jenni

You aren't doing anything wrong. He just doesn't understand. Honestly, I'd drop a boyfriend who would make an issue of totally legal, legit couponing, rather than drop the couponing. Relationship speaking, if he questions your character on this, does he really know you that well? I've seen you post time and again (This is Jennifer Penar, btw, so you know me from around here as well), and you are so careful to do the right thing. *shakes head* Don't let his unjustified doubts determine your future… in any area.

      • Nita Royal

Lose the boyfriend, keep the coupons!

      • ItsJustMe

My friends and family think its funny that I pay nothing for everything. It is better than stealing because it is LEGAL. Take him to the store the next time you go and he will be hooked, may even want to join in on the fun.

      • DD

Oh jeeze! Id lose the bf before Id lose my coupons! Unless he wanted to take a second job to support my shopping! He's wrong. You're right. Not only are you NOT stealing you ARE providing job security for others, saving money for yourself, boosting the economy, etc… You keep on doing what youre doing and feel good about it!

    • 1781

I've been out of town and just realized my UP rewards expired yesterday. :( Any chance they would take them today?

      • Frugal4eva

I feel like I read somewhere that they would.

Also, could you PLEASE explain the up rewards. I understnad how you get them, but how do you redeem them? Is it like cash at RiteAid? Thanks!

        • Sandy

You redeem them on your next transaction at Rite Aid. It could be the exact same day or any other time before the expiration date. There are exclusions ie. cigarettes, milk, prepaid cards etc but they are noted on the UPR. You can redeem as many as you like per transaction excluding any sales tax.

          • Sandy

p.s. They will print out at the end of your transaction on the receipt itself. Simply rip them off and redeem.

            • Frugal4eva

Oh Man!!! The cashier kept mine today because he made a mistake on my reciept and said he needed to keep it to correct it later. Is there anyway to get those UP bucks back? It was $26.

            • katie

Call the store! If you don't get it back, I'd complain!

            • Frugal4eva

              I'll call tomorrow! Grr…

            • Syndilew

The store should issue a girft card for your ups. Last week I had a cashier scan my ups to quickly and forget to scan some. I had my children with me that weren't too happy to be shopping so I just paid and left. When I looked at my receipt I knew instantly that she had kept my ups without scanning. Whenever I called back to the store, they issued me a gift card, which I would prefer anyway because this takes care of my sales tax for a very long time. LOL

            • Kate

RiteAid won't replace them if lost or destroyed. I'm guessing your only hope is to go back to the store and talk to him now!

            • Frugal4eva

Grrrr….went back to the store – closed! Will call tomor! Thanks for all the info guys!

          • Debbie Parnell

I actually used a 3 up resward earlier this week to buy milk.

      • chrystalm

They will not take expired ups they are not as flexible as cvs. I have tried and called the 1800 number. They told me its just like coupons from a manufacturer. They offered to add to my points but said that they cannot reissue the ups. I even spoke with a manager and explained that my ups expired when my husband was in the hospital (true story) they sd they couldnt reissue it nor let me use the expired ups.

      • Jenni

They won't in my store. Watched a lady try tonight. Her rewards ($11) worth expired yesterday and they wouldn't let her use them.

      • DD

Up rewards MUST BE SCANNED in order for the company to be reimbursed. They shouldnt be able to accept them.

    • Kate

I bought five ice creams and two superstack pringles – total was 17.95. I got the five 2UPs for the ice creams, but the 5UPs WYB $15 for the Up Your Game Promotion did not print. What do I do?

      • Mel

If it was advertised in your store (I've read that it's a regional deal), then call (or online chat with) Rite Aid headquarters (find their info on their website). They'll mail you the UP reward. I've had this happen twice and they've been really nice. Just have your Wellness card and your receipt handy.

      • Jenni

I bought five EDY's ice creams and 2 Lay's Stacks. Got back $17 dollars in UPR. Wonder if the pringles were not part of the deal. 5 ice creams would put the total just under the $15. My scenario made everything free. Spent 16.95 and got 17 back

      • Ashley

The Pringles aren't part of that promo, only the Lays.

    • Donna

REMINDER: anyone who buys any of the Nature Made vitamins (even if it was before this week) – go to naturemade{dot}com and sign up for a free account. You can enter the special codes on the side of the bottle (they're easy to spot – they're in a bright green strip) and get reward points. Once you have over 500 points (which is easy to do with all these deals lately), you can “buy” stuff from their catalog…for 500 points, you can get a $7/1 coupon that they mail to you.

I just got over 500 points and requested my $7 coupon! Woo hoo! :)

Definitely an added bonus – why not get a killer coupon since you're already buying these vitamins and have the bonus points right on the bottles?

    • Sandy

Hartz Crunch N Clean dog bones $2.99 plus get $1 UPR
*Use $2.00 SS 1/09 coupon or $ 1.00 Jan allyou

PLUS You get an addt'l $1 UPR for purchasing Pet Treats

      • Jenni

So people know, there seems to be a limit of 2 of the Pet Treats Ups. Can get at least 4 of the Hartz Ups, though.

    • ChristyMy

My husband just left (2) $10 coupons for the Neuragen Gel on the shelf (hopefully right next to the product!) at the Mountain Brook, AL Rite Aid if anyone is interested. I had ordered them on Coupon Dede as extras but since they expire tomorrow, I'm hoping someone can use them.

      • rty33

You know, that was really nice of you! :-)

      • Joy

How fast does coupon Dede ship?

    • Nita Royal

Strange results from RA today – My mother and I went together and did the same deals. On the $5 UP for $15 Game day snacks, mine printed, but I got NO credit for my “buy & save” items. She got no UP, but full credit for the promo. The only difference we could see is that my card has the 20% discount and hers does not. The cashier and store manager were confused also, and just suggested to call the 800#. I'm sure they'll send Mom her ups, but I know that they are clueless on the winter rewards points…..tried that call before.

      • ShopperSteph

Just FYI, when they sent my ups they sent a couple $2 and $5 coupons off of a purchase that you cannot use all at the same time. I was so upset I called and complained and told me to have it corrected in the store at the time of purchase. They said to have mgmt call the 800 number and resolve the issue in the store. Better luck in the future!

        • guest

This happened to me about a month ago i was all huffy because i wanted to be able to use multiple ups in one transaction not a little bit off multiple transactions. so i went in the store and told the cashier how i called corperate because of the missing ups and they sent me “these” that it didnt look like i could use them all at once but did she know for sure? she said idk lets see and scaned them all in one transaction and they all went threw…i dont know if that happens evrytime or if it wasnt even soupoused to happen at all. Luckly it was the only time i have needed them to send me my missing ups. good luck

    • wendyd

Great deal on the libman products, sale price $7.99 with the $2.00 ad perk makes them $5.99. Not a bad price. There is also a rebate for the mop, on the Libman website.

      • Nysummer2010

the $5 rebate is for “Libman Freedom Spray Mop”…is this also qualified for the on-sale price $7.99? The only one I can see from the ad is “Wonder Mop” …

    • Rlynn103

We are all so thankful for the work Jenny does putting these deals together! Can I brag??? My subtotal at RA was 74.00. After coupons and 20.00 “gift of saving” certificate, my subtotal was 1.21! Then….I got 35.00 UPs!!!! Lovin' RiteAid!!

      • Rlynn103

Oh…and submitted receipt for the AMO Complete SCR!

        • Dawn

I did three Transactions, and #3 was 117 something (anyone know how to find my subtotal before coupons/sales on the reciept? ;p) my husband, (who only comes to swipe and carry) was next to me having kittens, LOL Total after tax? 3.12!

    • Sue

I purchased Edy's ice cream today and received $2 UP reward for each ice cream I bought. Can I use those UP rewards to purchase more Edy's ice cream or do I need to use them on another item????

      • Be mindful of others :-)

You can use them on more ice cream if you wish…but remember to save some for other shoppers! Let's be considerate of others :-)

      • Mel

You can use them on anything in the store… ice cream, face cream, you name it…

        • DD

          cute! lol

    • Ksilvers04

Everyone watch the neuragen gel scr….In the Dalton, GA store I couldn't find it and asked a sales associate to help me find the one in the ad for the scr. The one they gave me was not the one in the ad, and it wasnt the size listed in the ad…..so no scr. When I pointed it out to her she asked the store manager and they said they did not carry that item in the Dalton store. Our store is also remodeling so I guess they arent getting in a lot of shipments because I had major problems finding most of the advertised items for this week. They hardly had anything in stock.

      • Val

My store had Neuragen everywhere. Some of the varieties were near the pharmacy next to the diabetes products (glucose monitors). No gel there just the serum(?). There was also some on an end cap (still no gel). And finally I found it in the pain relief section

      • Islandboybpb

That is exactly the one that is on Rebate the one in the Analgesics aisle (Pain) not the diabetic one. There should be a sale sign on that specific item if the store has finished setting their signs.

    • Sandy

In the automotive section there are funnels marked $1.19. When you buy two (hopefully with a 10% or 20% Wellness discount) – you will get a $2.00 UPR.

      • Jenni

I’m thinking these could be some fun improvised sandbox/bath toys!

    • vcwatson

is anyone finding the Afrin 3 0ff coupon? Is it a specific zip code?

      • Broberts1211

        I can't find it either!!!

        • Ashley

This $3 coupon is long gone. There may still be a $2 one on the afrin site.

      • Angelareid821

        Ditto.

    • Frugal4eva

If you buy something on sale and use a coupon, do you still get the wellness points? My receipt says ZERO. Also, if you lose a receipt, is there another way to redeem your Wellness points? New to Rite Aid. T H A N K Y O U !

      • Rlowe

I was told that sometimes it will take up to 24 hour to go through. Last time I had to go back the next day to get my $20 ups.

        • Frugal4eva

THANK YOU!!! How do you go back and get your UPS? Just go in and ask them or scan your card? The cashier actually took my receipt because he made an error and said he needed to keep it to correct it w the manager later…..Grrr…do i need that receipt?

        • DD

Its weird and I dont understand it but, if you go shopping in one day and do several transactions. It takes 10-15 minutes in between transactions for it to add up. You can do one transaction it it shows up right away (apparently) It makes no sense to me. But whatever! Im paying a cashier paper and walking out with STUFF and getting more paper to trade in for MORE stuff! Im not gonna complain. lol

      • ChrissyPunkin

I agree, give it a little time. I'm not sure what you mean about redeeming Wellness points; those points are tracked automatically. If you mean +UPs, you could try 1-800-rite aid to see if they can help.

      • DD

Okay, when you buy something today, your points wont show up today. They are there. Just not showing on the rcpt. Paying for it with coupons most certainly STILL earns your points.

You are really hunting down the deals and spreading the word, lol. Maybe you should start a site.

      • wendyd

where can i find the coupons for the doggy treats?

    • kasey

The stayfree pads should have a nut beside it. They are B1G1 and the coupon is B1G1. so makes both free!

      • maillady

The stayfree is also part of the buy and save.

      • Nita Royal

Yes! And if you don't use them, they make a great item to donate to a women's shelter! That's where my 4 free packs are going.

    • Morgan

I'm sad to say that I am done with Rite Aid. To make a long story short, I only got $4 UP rewards today (when I should have gotten $31), so for the third week in a row, after verifying I had purchased the correct items, the manager called the 800 number for me since she can't fix it in the store. The CS representative on the phone got really fresh with me and basically implied that I was trying to scam them since there was no way this could have happened three weeks in a row. So I decided it's not worth it just to have someone question my integrity… I know this isn't a place for venting, but my non-couponing husband doesn't get what the big deal is.

      • Ashley

You have no idea how bad I feel for you. RA's program has SO many kinks and flat out screw ups to it, it's not even funny. This is verrry common what happened to you the past 3 weeks. If it's not all the UP's not printing, it is at least a few that do not print at some point for everyone it seems. The inside knowledge that RA isn't informing anyone(if they even know it themselves) is that only 19 separate “UP's” will print at a time right now. A couple weeks ago it was up to 25. That may be your problem. I'm not sure why even 1 $4 UP printed at all b/c before I knew this info I had a trip where I was expecting $32 UP's and not one printed. If you shop again, remember it's 19 slips at a time that the register can handle right now, and that includes your points total message, the survey message, and the Winter Reward message. Tell your husband $32 slipped out of his wallet this week and see if he thinks it's a big deal :)

        • Mary

LMAO at the husband comment at the end! That would wake my husband up for sure!

        • Morgan

          Thanks for the explanation.

      • Nita Royal

How awful! Just when RA is becoming THE place for the best deals! It would be sad to miss out on these because of a bad store or some system glitch. Do you have a different store within a reasonable distance? Or could you get a new Wellness card? I'm starting to think that some of the accounts might just be screwed up, so it might be worth starting fresh with a new account!

      • rty33

Try breaking up those +up transactions into 2 different transactions. It may be that the computer can't print past a certain length of register tape. Especially for 31 +ups.

      • ShopperSteph

I am right there with you!! I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I called and spoke with customer service who were incredibly rude and sent 2 emails with no replies. I'm sticking to CVS from now on.

      • lookin4abargain

I am right with you, I was shorted $26 last weeks, and after completing my shopping on yesterday $30 did not print. I was a little leary about calling them, because this just happened to me last week. The awesome store manager where I shop actually called them for me last week to get it straightened out. Yesterday there was just a shift manager working. The cashier that was waiting on me, took ill in the middle of my transaction, had to leave the floor, and then went home. I pray she is ok. At this point the line was very long and I did want to take up her time. She had noticed that they did not print, but I told her I would call the #. What would you all do. I purchased 3 afrin- 3 coricidan- $30 worth of snacks from the back cover of the ad (son in college, he appreciates the care package-2 halls cough drops-2 razors eventhough I knew I would only get 1 reward, I throw things in for his roomate, and some other items. I received $3 in ups. Any suggestions?

      • Morgan

I am in north Alabama and we did not have the edys ice cream or the colgate with plus up in our ad. Does anyone know if the plus ups are printing for this in bama?

      • 3monkeysmom

I'm in B'ham and it isn't in our ad either…..but it's been my experience that whenever something is in the national ad and not our ad, the UPs still do print :) Can't say for sure on the ice cream though…haven't tried it yet (making a trip out there today so we'll see!!).

      • Rose

I bought Colgate yesterday, and Ups are not printing… they are B1G1 though. It has to be the 7.0 size at $3.99. I did not try thr Edy's.

        • 3monkeysmom

It's a different size for the UP deal. It's for the 4 oz Total Advanced or Total Enamel Strength. On sale for $2.99 with $2 UP back :)

      • 3monkeysmom

Just got back and both the Edy's and the Colgate are printing (in Bham). For the Colgate, it's the 4 oz. Total Advanced or Total Enamel Strength that gives the UPs. The other sizes are part of the BOGO sale…no UPs.
I got 4 Edy's, 2 Rice Works and 3 of the Colgates and got back (4) $2 UPs for the Edy's, (2) $1 UPs for the Rice Works and the $5 UP for buying $15 worth and (3) $2 UPs for the toothpaste :)

How do B1G1 free coupons work with B1G1 50% off deals? Gillette deo is on sale B1G1 50% off at my store and I have a B1G1 coupon. Does this mean I will get 2 deos for 1/2 the price of one or will they count my “free” deo as the one that would have been 50% off?

      • Sandy

The 50% off one will be FREE.
1st one will ring up sale price, 2nd one will ring up 50% off.

      • DD

at my store, the full price one is the free one. the coupon states up to so much, we give you the highest amount possible unless the coupon states otherwise :D

      • DD

I might also add, we are reimbursed by the manufacturer. So if we can, why not? You guys may not sign our paychecks, but you're paying it! :D And thanks! My kids like having food to eat and things like that lol!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Someone asked exactly this last week. MOST of the time BOGO coupons state that the free item is “of equal or lesser value” so it would be the 50% one for free. Technically, even if it doesn't state it on the coupon, that's how they're supposed to be taken. This is exactly what I suggest last week, get 2 offers if you have 2 BOGO coupons. That way, you get one full price off and one 50% off, getting 4 for the price of one B1G1 50% sale! If you don't have 2, grab a third anyway, since you'd be paying full price for the one anyway and 50% for the other, adding #3 would allow the B1G1 coupon to be for one of the full priced ones, so still 3 for the price of the B1G1 50% sale.

I tried to do the UP Heart Health Promotion and spent $32.xx but did not get the $10 UP reward. I don't think the Afrin went towards the $32.xx….I looked in the ad and it only lists and shows Coricidin as a part of the promotion and not Afrin. Are you sure Afrin is included in this promotion???

      • Amie

Yes, the Afrin is included. I did the deal today and checked Rite Aid's website yesterday to verify before doing the deal. It is included.

      • DD

there is a heart promotion. a winter rewards promotion. a games day promotion. freebates. and plus ups all over the place. i dont think the afrin is included in the HEART promotion. but it is included in the winter rewards promotion. just look at the in store ad.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Was your total $32 before or after taxes? If it was before, I don't know why it didn't print. The Afrin appears to go towards the promo. Double check everything you bought and the total minus tax, and if you still think it qualified, call CS and give them the receipt info. At very least, they could tell you what didn't count or they could see that your qualified, and they should fix it for you.

      • Rose

I had the same issue… was expecting $20, but only received $10. When looking at the receipt the toothpaste must be Colgate Total Advanced and not just Colgate Total… completely messed me up. I'm going to buy a bottle of Afrin in order to ge the $10 and another $4… so I will be out of pocket just tax.

      • Rose

Afrin is included… I checked the rebate booklet.

    • Jeannagripper

      Question:
If I buy 6 Edy's Ice Cream will I get 6 $2.00 UP Rewards and the $5 promotion reward? Or just one of each?

      • Islandboybpb

You will get all 6 and the promotional reward.

    • Meguardo

I have been avoiding RA like the plague lately (bad experience and I needed a break from the drug store madness, LOL!)
However, I could not pass up the great deals this week and there was A LOT that I needed! So I am happy to say I had a GREAT RA experience today! (I will only be going when I know the friendly manager is there)

So Here is what I did:

      Trans # 1
      2 Colgate ($1 off coupons)
2 Viactiv (no coupons but I use everyday and needed them!)
      1 Afrin ($2 manf & $2 store)
      1 Coricidin ($2 manf & $2 store)
      also had $4 off $20 & $2 VV
total = $18.04 I was very nervous I would not get my 28 UPS but I did! I was JACKED

      SO…
      Trans#2
      Huggies ($2 manf & $2 store)
      Childrens Advil ($2 manf)
      Gillette Fusion Rzr ($4 manf)
Gillette Fusion Crt 4 ct ($2 manf)
Gillette Clinical Deod ($3 manf and store had Gillette stuff B1G1 50% off…made it
      1.99:))
Used my 28 UPS and $1 VV
Total before coupons $56ish after coupons drum roll please $6.47
and I got 11 UPS back!!!!

I was so jacked I went back and got another Children's Advil because I can never have enough of that!

Thank you RA…I have faith in you again:)

      Of course thank you JENNY!!!

    • Natalie

I'm so sick right now because I took a week off from drugstores and totally forgot about $12 +Up rewards I had that expired Friday! Ugghhhh! Can anyone make me feel better, or at least tell me I'm not the only one who has done this? :)

      • meme

Natalie, you are not the only one to let a good savings expire. I do this all the time. My health is so precarious I cannot get to the stores every week. So many times I get all my coupons and list, etc., ready just to spend a day or two catching my breath. Meanwhile, the sale goes off or a good coupon, RR, etc., expires. I have learned throughout the last couple of years to reflect on the whole purpose of couponing and realize I probably didn't need the items I intended to buy anyway. Or, at least I can start over with the next sale. HTH!

        • Gracie

I do this at least once a month. It really upsets me when it happens. I work so hard to try and keep up. It seems the RA ups expire quicker than most. But I've done it with all and it is very disappointing. Some stores will put them through but I have found most do not. With Wags and CVS I have found if you get to know the cashier they will sometimes push them through it they are a day or two exp. But thats about it! You just have to throw them away and let it go! Sometimes I will leave them in the front of my binder with the date highlighted to remind me not to do it again! LOL! I have also found if you skip a week you're more likely to run in to this problem!

      • Gina

Hi! I consider myself an extreme couponer. I let my ups expire over the summer when we went on vacation. I actually brought them with us to the beach, but couldn't remember where I put them…lol Didn't find them for a week after we got back. They were expired :0( I didn't even ask if they would still take them. It was my fault of course & Rite Aid has been the absolute best drug store ever. I figured I have gotten so much from them…A little less for me was fine :0) I have made up for it ten fold since then & will be a lifetime shopper to Rite Aid!

      • 3monkeysmom

A few months ago I had to throw away $10 in UPs because I had an expired car tag and my hubby wouldn't let me drive to Rite Aid ;)

      • Anonymous

I’m so sorry! Of course it has happened to many of us. You can either look at it as a lesson learned, or take it as a challenge to build your +UPs back up–or both. :-)

      • Natalie

Thanks guys. I knew I was not alone, but it’s nice to hear it from you all. Maybe I’ll learn from it, and not do it again. Here’s hoping.

    • Courtney

im thinking of getting some axe deo, wondering if this is a good deal, buy 4 @ 4.50 each, use 2 b1g1 coupons so 9.00 for 4, get back 6 up (3 for buying 2 twice) so 3.00 for 4. good deal yes or no?

      • Kriss

        Hey Courtney,

I would say that it's a good deal if you need it right now and you want that particular brand. Otherwise, you can almost always (always if you stockpile it) get deo for free. Stay on the lookout for B1G1 coupons matched with B1G1 sales at your favorite drugstore! Hope that helps!

        • Courtney

oh I do look out for the b1g1 deals on deo, just never seems to happen for axe lol and that is the one my husband prefers, though I have got a few he will try after his axe runs out.

      • Sheila

I think 75 cents each is a good price for Axe deodorant if your husband is brand loyal. Axe BOGO sales are hard to come by.

    • Rachel

I am really worried lat week and this week when I shopped at riteaid my receipt is not calcualting a winter rewards or a heart healthy rewards. I should have 29 or more on the winter rewards and today I added 24 for sure to heart healthy not dure if my 9 for natures bounty vitamins(probiotic) or my nature made vitamin c 8 purchase was supposed to count. But I need those ups to print right. I mean that is 40 dollars! Sidenote I am loving the 20 promos it is helping get other stuff for free without feeling bad about burning.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

The “Winter Rewards” are tabulating right, the registers are just printing either one or 2 transactions behind from what I could make out early Sunday. Probably because they were overwhelmed if every store was as busy as us in the AM. As for the “Healthy Heart” promo, that doesn't tabulate on your receipt. Since most of those rewards aren't cumulative, the system seems to be on that same set up, even though most people are saying that they are, in fact, cumulative. So don't worry about that one not adding up on your receipt, because it won't. And, I wouldn't worry to much about the WRs because it will print, once you get the total up. Mine printed tonight with no problems.

        • Nita Royal

Mine doesn't seem to be catching up. I just stopped and did one small transaction. Today's purchase did add to the total, but none of my purchases from yesterday are reflected in the total. I won't complain, since I've been getting loads of goodies for pocket change!

    • Just found an online coupon for $2 off the AMO Complete.

      WOOHOO!!!

      http://www.completecomfort.ca/register.php

Can I use a video value coupon twice .I had used it before can I use the same coupon this week ? Just wanted to clear my doubt.

      • becky

        No it'll say already used!

      • Sheila

No. Each VV coupon is uniquely coded. If you try to use it again, the register will beep as “already used”.

      • ChrissyPunkin

What do you mean by “same?” How do you have two? If you mean that it is for the same item but from a different month, you can use it twice.

    • Andre

The Neuragen SCR is for the .28oz, while the $5 coupon is for the .17oz. Anyone tried using it? Did it work?

      • guest

I used the $5.00 coupon yesterday on the neuragen and it did work.

        • Andre

Thanks. Will go tonight. Snow or no snow!

          • Sandy

Even though the register accepts it you shouldn't use it. That coupon wasn't intended for the item with the SCR.

            • Andre

Wouldn't want to participate in fraud.

      • guest

        That would be coupon fraud.

      • Olisa56

I used mine this morning in Charlotte nc and it worked fine

      • Jenni

I am so glad you mentioned this! There were no tags in my store, and I bought the size I figured more likely to be priced at 19.99 on sale (the retail was RIDICULOUS on both of them). Well, the .17 ounce one rang up at 23.99, with my discount, which is why I didn't notice it ring up wrong – I bought a lot in that transaction, and it was close enough to what I thought it was. DARN IT.

So NOW what do I do? Coupon gone, and returning it is going to be hard to figure out.

        • Guest

If you take it back and do a return and purchase the correct item in the same transaction it should wash out less the difference of what you should get back. Example, take it back get the item you want. They should do a return for the 23.99 and ring the 19.99 item up in the same transaction and you should get back the $4 difference. Don't worry about the coupon….it washes out. It's item for item.

          • Jenni

Well, it won't really wash out, because the store is still going to get reimbursed for the coupon as well, at this point, I think. I am going to return it, but I'm not sure I want to -intentionally- spend $20 bucks on this and then wait about 4-5 weeks to get that money back via my SCR. Making $5 seemed to make it worth the wait to me. Now… Meh.

            • kristen79

I had to return some aveeno products a few weeks ago. The deal didn't work out the way I thought it was supposed to. I used a bunch of coupons and +up rewards for the purchase it. The store refunded me what the total was WITH +ups and coupons I used. They gave me back cash! They explained that they will be reimbursed that amount through the manufacturers. That is the 2nd time that has happened to me; as I don't always pay attention. Both times they returned cash to me. I don't know it that's they're normal policy. I live in Charlotte, NC

        • BE HONEST

Come on you guys!! You KNOW it's coupon fraud! It's like you're asking us permission to use a coupon fraudulently!! The Neuragen clearly says it's for the 17 oz, so NO, it doesn't work for the 28 oz. It shouldn't matter whether it “scans” or not. DO NOT USE IT!! The stores are starting to restrict the use of internet prints because of fraudulent usage…don't be a part of the problem!

    • Rose

      Oh… and Afrin is included.

    • Morning!

      I have 2 questions.

Does RA take coupons from Walgreens? The $10 diabetes and You couponis from there.

Did anybody actually find the AMO complete coupon? My paper didnt have it. I checked both SS from 1/2.

      THANKS EVERYBODY!!!

      • Sandy

It will probably be up to the cashier to accept the Neuragen coupon. There's nothing in the coupon policy that prohibits it, but there is a question as to whether the store will be reimbursed for it. Some say yes others say no. I'd ask the store manager when you get there. Let her know it's a manufacturer coupon but you got it from a Walgreens magazine.

As for the Amo solution. Coupons are regional so, it's possible your area did not get this coupon.

      • Jenni

I showed it to my cashier and asked her if she would be willing to see if it scanned, and she said she didn't want to risk getting fired in case the store didn't get reimbursed. “No problem”, I said, “that's why I asked first,” and I handed her my $5 internet printable, which went through just fine. So some may be willing to risk it, others may not, either way, it's a MM.

As for the AMO – I did find it in my SS/1/2 insert. It was near the back. (I bought the Greenville, SC News) Perhaps it was regional?

    • Morning again! I have another question…

My friend bought a bunch of fish oil pills last week and got 2 different UPs back, but she wasnt sure why. Anybody know how I can repeat her success? She couldnt recall her details.

      • wendy

That deal ended on saturday. It was get a $16 UP+ when you buy $30 worth of nature made fish oil or C0Q10 vitamins. It is also part of the heart healthy UP+ which is buy $30 get a $10 Up+. You can still get the $10UP+ wyb $30.

    • Guest

Anyone know where to find the $3 off Afrin 12 hour nasal spray coupon? It didn't show up for my area code.

      • paula

        I couldn't get one either :(

    • Qponmom

Okay, went to RA to get the coricidin deal, but the manager stated that his store does not take internet coupons. He stated that there are too many fake coupons in that neighborhood. I just printed a copy of the RA Coupon Policy. I am just wondering can any manager choose to not accept them, even though the policy states otherwise??

      • Gina

No! He has to take internet coupons…Now if the coupon does not scan or is more than the $5.00 internet printed limit, he is not suppose to take them… If it scans & matches the items you are buying, he will have to take them…Managers can't make thier own coupon policy.

      • Sandy

Call 800# for Rite Aid and make a complaint as well!
This way you'll have no problems in the future

      • HL

They are changing the policy everywhere…. at each location they tell you something different. They will sometimes allow stacking and unlimited UP use then the next time you can only use one coupon per item per DAY not transaction. Cant keep up with all their changes….

      • Gamego71

When I tried using my internet coupon on coricidn with a VV values coupon they only took the VV coupon and said that they were both manufacturs coupons. The manager checked me out so I took her word for it.

    • JoR

FYI- the afrin is not part of the heart health sale!!!!!!!!

    • Imousework

I have no UP rewards. What would be a good deal to get some UPs?

      • Lisa

I would suggest getting some of the lays stax. They are on sale for $1.00 and giving back $1.00 +up so free and a good way to get a few +ups to roll onto bigger and better deals!! :-)

    • guest

Anyone have a working zip code for Afrin or Coriciden? They appear to be out of prints, but one can hope… :(

    • Courtney

just got back from riteaid, got 4 axe deos. Total before coupons 18.00.

    • Andre

Where are the Axe b1g1 coupons from?

      • Mlg Cmg

It is in this past Sunday's paper

        • Andre

That explains it – not in my RP, and not in the coupon database either.

          Thanks :(

      • Courtney

this last sundays paper in one of the redplums.

    • Cedarhillcabins

Last week I bought a humidifer (Vicks) for $50.00 and used only a $5.00 rite aid video coupon. This week the ad shows a $5.00 UPS if you buy a Vicks humidifer. Does anyone know if I can take my reciept back and get credit for the UPS? Thanks

      • Dianne L

They will probably just buy the coupon, giving you cash.

        • Cedarhillcabins

          Thanks Dianne

          • Dianne N

            ??

            • Dianne N

Nevermind me…just saw the L in the reply to line! lol

    • Awalker7735

Hello. Pretty new to couponing. Question: does RA track you spening regarding specific promotions? Example I ran Jennys Transaction#1 without benefiber (didnt have coupon with me), so I only got 10 back. If i go later today, will I get another 10?

      • Courtney

They usually don't but for special things like the winter rewards. I do think the heart healthy is tracking though, I got a $10 up last week for spending $30, then did the transaction this week and got another $10 instead of the $20. So they might be tracking that.

        • Frugal4eva

My store said they are tracking.

    • Clarkwoman

It pays to ask for your rain check!!! I found the special k out of stock in my store a few weeks ago while they were bogo, got raincheck and went back saturday with 4 bogo coupons and snagged 8 boxes for 38 cents!!

    • Dianne L

If I did the UPS Heart deal last week and got 10 UPs, can I do another deal this week or is it a one time deal for the month?

      • Courtney

you can do another deal but you will only get 10 ups not 20

      • Dianne N

Hi, Dianne! I'm a little slow in seeing your note to me and replying. I too though it was unusual to see another Dianne with the double N. I've started posting with my last initial too. I am in Charlotte, NC.

    • Sandy

FINISH gel packs & dispenser on sale $3.99. VV coupon for $1.00 as well as $2.25 q and $3.00 dispenser printable -Home Solutions website. As low as free or .75

    • shan

Can someone please tell me if you have to buy the $15 for the up your game promotion in one transaction or do they track it and it can be multiple? Thanks!

      • Angela

Shan, it has to be in one transaction. The only things they track are the winter savings and heart health. hth

        • shan

          Thanks so much!

      • stacey

        all at one time

    • Holly

I just got paid to buy almost $80 in merchandise! Also my cashier (a manager or at least shift supervisor) was absolutely awesome about the two rewards that didn't print, and really nice about having “couponers” in her store.

    • Dianne N

I have two college-aged kids who live in different cities from each other and me while in school. I am trying to find the best way (i.e. least expensive & best benefit) for them to purchase some of their own things. If they were to buy something that has a rebate, I'm assuming they can set up their own account since they have different addresses, correct? Can they use my phone number for the rewards or do they need their own? I'm just thinking that for most of what they buy, it won't add up to get any rewards for them but it could help me reach mine, plus the +UPs are mostly unlimited for things they would need, so I'm not really concerned about that. I just don't want to do something I shouldn't if they should sign up for their own card as well. Thanks!

      • Sandy

They could use your Wellness phone number so that all “rewards” go to just your 1 card however this certainly could backfire if there is a limit of 1 or 2 on specific items and you're waiting for XX amount of UPR to print and they don't. If RA wasn't always in a transition phase you could track this easily enough but day to day things change! For SCR they obviously need to have their own account as there is almost always a limit of 1 rebate per household/account.
I switch between 2 Wellness cards and for the most part workds out well but I'm never concerned about getting to the $100 mark as I hate getting a large UPR ($10 or $20) . I accumulate soooo many dollar ones and that just works better for me. On a side note: I'd have them sign up for their own Wellness card as every once in a while you get a $5 coupon in your account.

    • Nysummer2010

Does anyone know that RiteAid just issued the “NEW” coupon policy few weeks ago ?!! just came back the store and the shift supervisor declined my transaction by saything they have a new coupon policy…..is that true ?!!

      • Jenni P

The coupon policy listed on their website does not say ANYthing that changes how coupons have been legitimately used since the August 2010 update. In fact, the policy listed on their website IS the August updated edition, so until this new policy is put on the website for all customers to be able to look up, I frankly don't trust the average manager to know what they are about.

        • Nysummer2010

tks…Jenni…I'm gonna call 1800 to figure that out :)

    • HL

Yes its very true….. You can still stack RA coupons and MF coupons but only one per transaction. So no more using 2 coupons when its B1G1. If you notice the whole staff has changed too.

    • Susancpike

To let everyone know, including Jenny, I tried the first transaction. You don't get twenty dollars back. Riteaid calculates only the monies spent “after” the plus up. Example the Viactive sells for 6.99 and you get $3.00 back in +up rewards, ONLY 3.99 will apply towards building your 10.00 or 20.00 +up rewards!

      • Ant0288

i think something else messed up for you. because rite aid most surely counts before the up reward, in fact they sometimes advertise the extra savings of combining these rewards. the strongly possibility is the prices were slightly different, or something was its regular price and your 20% discount knocked you below the threshold.

Went by RA last night- Coupon Nazi was there… the only cashier other than the manager which I like-
      Bought
      3- Colgate TP
      3- Coricidin
      1- Centrum
      2- Viactv

gave Man Q's coupons for all plus
      $4 off 20 v v
      3- $1 offs RA v v
      1- $2 off RA v v
paid for the rest with Up+s from last week
      Subtotal $1.94
      I didnt have another $1 Up (only a 1.99)
got back Ups for everything plus the 20 more for spending $50 heart Healthy

      Then I bought 3 Afrin
      5.99 each
used $2 off v v for two of them
used $3 off Man Q for all three

      paid with Up+s (2) 1.99 from light bulbs –
      subtotal .99

      Got back 12 more Up+s (4,4,4)

Coupon Nazi was P.O.'ed! But she took all of them.

left with 70 Up+s – we call them “Disney Dollars” in my house cause they are not real money but they can buy real stuff.
      got

      • ChrissyPunkin

Awesome! I call it “Monopoly money.” :-)

      • Jenni P

Just curious how you got 2 VV coupons for the Afrin – was there one in January, as well as February? I thought there was only one.

    • Frugal4eva

Does anyone know if Listerine ever goes on sale? Mouthwash? Is $3 a good deal? It is reg $5, and using a $1 coupon that will be doubled at Bloom today for Super Double. Should I stock pile or wait for a sale??? Thanks!

      • ChrissyPunkin

I think you could get a much better deal at the drug stores, but who knows when that will be. $3 is not a good stock pile price for Listerine.

        • Frugal4eva

Thanks! Appreciate the tip! I'm new at this but saved $163 today at my grocery store!!!! VERY excited!

      • Sandy

Listerine as with many products goes in 3 month cycles. All stores had Listerine products on sale for weeks several months ago and then it dead stopped. $3 not a great price unless you need desperately – just buy 1 and wait for the cycle to begin again.

        • Frugal4eva

Thanks! Appreciate the tip! I'm new at this but saved $163 today at my grocery store!!!! VERY excited!

      • Guest

Most Rite Aid's have a little flap over the ad this week with coupons on them. One of the coupons is a $2 off Listerine 1 Liter Bottles. They are on sale for 3.99 this week, there are manufacturer coupons. $.50 off 1, 1.50 off 2 or $3 off 3 out there so makes nearly .99 cents depending on how many you buy.

    • Stacey

Does anyone know the zip for the Neuragen PN Homeopathic coupon?

      • Jenni P

The $5 apparently does not work on the Neuragen that is on rebate. The single check rebate is for the .28 size only, and the $5 coupon was for the .17 only, as I remember. If you find it, and print it, just check and make sure you can use it on the exact item in the ad.

    • ChrissyPunkin

TO THE TWO LADIES IN MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA WHO HAVE CLEARED THE SHELVES OF THIS WEEK'S GOOD DEALS IN AT LEAST TWO RITE AIDS IN TOWN:

Please be considerate of others. I don't know why you need that much stuff, or why you think it is OK to make it so that no one else can benefit from these deals. I have been told by the clerks in two different Rite Aids that there are two women who cleared the shelves this week and have consistently done so in previous weeks, so you know who you are!

Please stop. Take what your family can reasonably use and leave the rest for others.

      • Jenni P

Although it is worth noting that the managers of these stores need to start enforcing some reasonable limits, as well. It's not like they are helpless, and have to let a person come in and buy 20 cans of Lay Stax and 12 Afrins. (just guessing) They are allowed to enforce limits in order to ensure that there is enough stock for at least a few other people to get deals as well. My manager did this with the light bulbs last week, and I am so grateful, as I wouldn't have gotten any if they hadn't.

        • ChrissyPunkin

I asked the cashier about limits, and he said that if the store gives a limit the customer could complain to corporate and the store would have to make amends. The light bulb limit was set by corporate.

          • Jenni P

My manager said that she has an e-mail from corporate stating they will back her up, so she has strict limits in her store – for instance, only 2 of Edy's ice cream is allowed. Perhaps it's a manager you need to make aware. Any reasonable manager will see that it's better to make one greedy shelf-clearer mad, than to make 5-10 non-greedy couponers mad.

            • Ashley

Yikes, how are you supposed to reach the advertised $15 to get the $5 UP then. Also, didn't you say earlier you got 4 Edy's at your store?

        • GA~mommy

Managers are not allowed to set limits, only corporate. If they did set a limit and someone complained to corporate they would get in a lot of trouble…it's not that easy…it's definitely unfair that crazy people ruin it for everyone else though.

      • Fallaya

I also have a “shelf-clearer” in my area. Oddly enough, it's a man!! I beat him to the store on Sunday, however, and nabbed what I needed before he made his rounds. My strategy to dealing with these types of people is to get to the store on the first day of the sale, a couple of minutes before the store opens. Then, I go DIRECTLY to the sales items, eventually making my way to the non-sale items I need. It makes life much less stressful. The week before last, he cleared the shelves of the 4-pks of RA tissue, and the week before, he cleared the shelf of the light bulbs. Thankfully there was an end cap with additional light bulbs…guess he missed them!!

        • Jenni P

Try asking your manager to start enforcing reasonable limits, such as a max of 4 or 6 items. Mine runs a little too strict, with a 2 items limit, but I'd rather they have a limit than not.

        • ChrissyPunkin

It's like Black Friday every week for you! lol

      • Lisa

Doesn't that stink when people do that? I used to get really upset. Now I just feel sorry for them. We will probably see them on the next edition of hoarders.

      • Couponjoker

Hey Chrissy…I might be one of the two ladies you are talking about. I go shopping every Sunday with my friend. Chrissy just so you know we do not shelf clear. We go to multiple Rite Aids every week as to not take all of anything from each store. This past week we saw several couponers one of who took an entire cart full of lays staks. I am very sorry that you did not get the deals but our stores in Montgomery are not stocked well. We always do our best to be fair about everything. We ALWAYS try to leave something for others. THAT SAID…its hard not to take everything when there are only three or four of something and there are two of us. Sorry you are upset but we will continue to do as we always have. We are fair!

        • Anonymous

Either there has been a misunderstanding, or you are not the one that I am talking about. There is a big difference between being a shelf clearer and clearing the shelf because there were only a few left and you needed those few to get the deal. My problem is with anyone who buys an exorbitant amount of items just because they can and not leaving some for other shoppers. I appreciate you being fair! :-) I got some of the deals I wanted and I got rain checks for the rest.

    • kasey

Went to Rite-Aid last night they have Finish Quantumatic on sell for $3.99. They have a $3 cpn and a Rite-aid video value cpn for $1. Makes it free!!

    • Dena

I went to RA this am to do the deal that was posted earlier in the week and was told by the cashier that the breathe right strips were not part of the hh promo….does anyone have any info on this? I'm at work and don't have time to read thru every comment at the moment. ths

    • lee48

Have been doing walgreens, but would like to try Rite-aid. I'm a little confused! Can I use the UP rewards to purchase the same product again?

      • Sandy

Yes. They keep rolling, just check to see if there is a limit as to how many are producing UPR. Some are 1, others are unlimited. Much of it is by trial and error by customers.

        • lee48

Thanks so much. Can't wait to give it a try.

    • softballmom

    • 3monkeysmom

Not sure if this has been posted yet but if you “like” Couples Place by K-Y Brand on Facebook, you can go to the “special offers” tab and print off a $7 coupon good on the “premium” products….Intense, Intrigue or Yours+Mine :)

      • Nysummer2010

remember that internet coupon over $5 isn't allowed per RiteAid coupon policy :(

        • 3monkeysmom

I completely forgot about that….I hardly ever have ANY coupons over $5 so paying attention to the dollar amount never occurs to me. But I used 2 of them today. Will they still get reimbursed for them??

    • atlanta coupon queen

does anyone know of an afrin zip code that works? thanks!!!

    • Danielle

I have a question. I went today to Rite Aid. I wanted to do the UP your Game promotion. I bought 4 Edy's Ice Creams and 4 Lays Stax. The 5 UP+ rewards did not print. I pointed it out to the cashier and she looked at the ad and then called the manager over. The manager told me that the ice cream was not a part of the promotion. However, my mom told me that all she bought from that page was the ice cream and hers printed. What can I do about this?

      • Marina

        I bought 2 icecreams,4 stacks,& 4 chex mix and my $5.00 printed yesterday

      • Ksilvers04

i did 3 pepsi 12 packs and 2 edy's icecreams and mine printed also

      • michelle r

does your ice cream say grand on it?

        • Danielle

2 say Grand and 2 say Fun Flavor's but I got 2 UP+ rewards for each one.

          • Ant0288

fun flavors may be printing the up rewards then, but the up your game specifically says GRAND only, so it shouldn't have printed

            • Steph_rnld

I bought the Cookies and Cream which is a “fun flavor” and some other stuff from the promotion and my $5+up printed along with $2 for the Edys and 2 $1 from Chex mix.

          • michelle R

hmm dont know it may just be the when they linked the sales to the items they linked the 2up to all edys and the 5up to the grand only because it does say grand in the ad but i think if you call customer service they will issue it to you. i wanted to get fun flavors but didnt want to risk it. let me know how it works out for you.

      • Reynoldsja

I bought 6 cans of pringles and 2 of the Edys Grand and mine didn't print out either. I didn't notice until I got back to work. I called the store and she told me to call the 800 # at the bottom of the receipt. I called and they are sending the 5ups to me. I did get the 4ups for the ice cream.

        • Ant0288

it shouldn't have printed. the 5 is wyb 15 dollars. 6*1.5+2*2.99=14.98, so you were 2 cents short. sucks but you cant round things off in those rebates

      • nieves

I know you can only do one of these deals per card. If you used the same card your mother did it won't print. I have gotten the ponits and the icecream did count towards the total.

    • Nita Royal

RA bonus points are totally wacked out! I posted earlier this week that my totals weren't adding up, even when my mother was buying the identical items and getting full credit towards the buy & save.

I just stopped at my favorite store to finish up this deal. When it all rang up, my total points on the receipt were $99.84. The cashier said…”Oh, you just missed it! Buy a piece of this candy to get the $20″. So, I grabbed one of the Reese's eggs for .50, and she rang it up – took about 10 seconds. When the receipt printed, not only did I not get my $20 UP, but the total points had DROPPED to 93.23! The shift manager was standing there watching and neither of them could believe it.
The manager was nice enough to call the 800# for me, because I said they would never believe it coming from a customer!

Hopefully, I'll get my UP in the next few weeks.

      • Valeriems1

The SAME Thing happened to me, we called the 800 # right then and there and the guy said they would mail the $20 +UP to me…..still haven't received anything :(

      • Nysummer2010

it happen to me those winter rewards work perfectly @ 1st store. But same day @ 2nd or 3th store…it never add any numbers up …worse — sometimes I lost the points like your situation :(

      • wog703

Your $20 Up will print the next time you make a purchase of anything. The same thing happened to me. When you make one purchase after the other, it adds the second purchase back to your previous total, not to the first purchase you just made. But it will all update correctly.

      • DD

Not only would they believe it from a customer they know it takes 10 to 15 minutes to add up when a customer is doing multiple transactions. Dont ask me why with multiple transactions? But thats how it is.

    • Lisa

I have a question about the number of UP rewards you can use in a transaction. I was told by the cashier that I could only use four UP rewards because I only had four items. She said the UP rewards say one coupon per purchase. I told her I had never been limited. I said lets call corporate. Instead she asked the shift supervisor and he said to take them. She said I still think there is a limit. So my question is there a limit or is she trying to keep me from my deals.

      • Nita Royal

I have never heard of a limit, and have used 10-12 of the small ones in one transaction.

      • Kerry72nc

there are some items that are limit 1 which will be stated in the ad and on the sale sign.

      • Nysummer2010

see their coupon policy under “UP reward coupons”….multiple +UP coupons can be used up to the amount of purchase before sales tax.
Always remember to take one copy with you :)

        • Lisa

          Thanks for the info.

      • DD

There is no limit. Up rewards are to be considered the same as cash! An up reward is good on one purchase meaning the same Up reward cant be used a second time. The cashier misread.

    • Tom

I agree with many posts here. Please be considerate of others. I try and make my rounds first day of sale and I only grap ONE deal as posted by Jenny. Then I make a final round on Saturday – the day before the sales end and its open game. Those of you who take everything on Sunday are going to ruin it for everyone. Please be considerate because people will start complaining and it will get more restrictive.

    • Tom

I love Rite Aid, but sometimes my store is bad about posting the sales and wellness deals…one mistake throws the entire deal off. My store also does not keep a big stock of items…so don't be greedy!!!! —-please! Also, hopefully all the cash register bugs can be worked out one day…but the clerks are always nice and helpful.

      • DDee

I work for Rite Aid and I love working there. However, I could go on and on for hours about WHY things are the way they are with things like ad signs and outages! Hopefully one day someone who can change it will figure it out and correct all the issues so these problems will go away. Just know that the people inside the store are doing the best they can with what they have to work with… that seems to be working against them lol.

    • Lharris438

will they stay free pads be free with the b1g1 coupon

      • Dianne L

        Yes! Fun, huh?!

      • Gamego71

The printable coupons have a $3.00 max but the ones from the paper have a $6.00 max. So they are .99 for two packs if you have the printable coupons.

    • Tigergrl

Tonight I bought 4 gatorades and 2 Jif Peanut Butters. I got 4 ups back from food group. Do the Gatorade give you 1 up back on 2?

      • Ant0288

        mine didnt

      • MichelleK

I know the Jiff is an unadvertised UP sale this week…but I thought it was just 2 $1 ones….. I didn't buy gatorade.

    • Brandy

Another newbie here. I did my first RA deal tonight and was quite pleased with the outcome.

      Trans #1
      2 Viactives
      2 Colgate Total
      Benefiber
      Centrum Ultra
      Coricidan
      Afrin
Total after coupons $37.xx (I didn't have all the coupons needed to get it for what Jenny did)
      Got: 40 +UP

      Trans #2
      Finish Quantumatic Kit
      AMO Complete Multi-Purpose Solution
      Neuragen Gel

      Used $23 +Up
      OOP: less than $1
Get back total single rebate checks: @$31
      Still have $17 +UP leftover
Made profit, but not exactly sure how to calculate it.

Pretty good for my first attempt!

      • Christy

What zip did you find the coricidin under?

      • Kate

        Trans #1: 37.50 OOP + 40 UPs earned = $2.50 profit
        Trans #2: 23 UPs + 0.50 OOP + 31 SCR earned = $7.50 profit

You made $10 as a newbie – great job!!

    • Lasmith9454

Does my rite aid yearly total spent count before or after q's? I will never hit the good marks if it is after q's. TIA

      • Guest

It's before coupons…..sometimes they have glitches where it doesn't add up but it usually fixes itself within a couple of days. It does take 48 hours for your points to update from the days purchase though.

    • shan

Just wondering if anyone knows if Rite Aid will reissue Ups? My husband sent mine in with his flex stuff. If so, how do you go about it? Thanks!

      • Guest

No…there is no way to track them.

    • Christy

Help! I need the zip code for Coupons.com for Coricidin!!!

      • Johnandleah

As far as I can tell it's out of prints.

    • SmoochTheCook

:( My Rite Aid was out of Vivactive. Every week, it's something. I absolutely adore the people that work there, though, and the manager was great, saying they're trying to find the sites that some of the couponers are using so that they can be prepared for what's going to fly off the shelf. He just can't order a huge stock of vivactive if he doesn't. But, I'm totally bummed, wanting so badly to see ONE deal work out. Nature Made fell through for me last week.

      • ChrissyPunkin

Did you get a rain check? They should be able to write it for $3.99, the price after +UPs.

      • Patty3380

My rite aid was out of the gilette razors. When I asked about them, they said that they were checking into changing the store policy to limit the amounts you can purchase on an item. He did tell me he would call me if they got any more in.

    • Juli

I am going to do the heart deal with the fish oil and coq10…I am pretty sure I know the answer to this, but wanted to be sure…since they are b1g1 free, only the $10.49 counts toward the $30 or $50 spending amount, correct? Meaning to get to the $30, I would have to purchase 6 bottles so that the total will get over $30. Is this right? I can't imagine the $10.49 counting twice when I am getting one of them free…(and wow, that confused me, LOL!) I don't want to get to the register thinking that I have what I need and then realize I am still short. Thanks in advance! I've done this for a while, but for some reason I just wasn't sure about this one. :)

      • Dianne L

You are correct in thinking that you will have to purchase six bottles. It is confusing, especially when you think of Publix' B1G1 actually meaning half-price.
        (Except in FL).

    • Gamego71

Does anyone know if the Pringles are printing out the $1.00 +up as well as the $5.00 +up on a 15.00 purchase like the ice cream did?

      • Reynoldsja

Nope, but the lays stacks are…

        • Gamego71

          Thanks!

      • Triplettk

I think so. I got two $1 +Ups that I wasn't expecting. I bought 2 Dixie plates, 2 Edy's ice creams, 2 Chex Mix and 2 Pringles and I got $5 + UP, two $2 + UPs for the ice cream and two $1 + UPs that said Food Grp.

        • Samantha

I have never shopped Rite AId I plan to try it this week I usually just go to CVS and Winn Dixie, I was planning on doing the deal with the Chex and plates, pringles, stax, so what you all are saying is that you are getting extra ups in addition to the $5 for spending $15?

          • ChrissyPunkin

Yes, every Chex Mix and Stax that you buy will earn you a $1 +UP. I just did it today. :-)

        • ChrissyPunkin

The two $1 +ups are for the Chex Mix. I just got them today. It's a monthly deal.

    • Triplettk

Can I split the heart healthy +UP promotion items into multiple transactions and still get the reward? Example: I bought 3 Colgate toothpastes earlier in the week. If I go back and buy $20 more worth of product from the heart healthy list, will I get a $10 +UP?

      • Jennydh

-Yes. I bought mine at seperate times and got the reward after the final purchase totaling the $30.

has anyone else notice, the coupons are expiring faster .some are only 7 to 12 days after we get them they expire.

    • Guest

Im having trouble printing coupons that are “printable” the link says no adds or takes me to the smart source page and then i still cant find “that coupon” Help :/

    • Bamasaver

Some of you may want to check your wellness+ online account…I just checked mine & found a new $5/$25 that doesn't expire until 5/31/11. I had checked it a couple of days ago & nothing was there.

      • ChrissyPunkin

Thank you! Got it! It looks like they are putting it out at the beginning of each month. I hope it continues. :-)

        • Courtney

got mine to but i think mine expires sooner

      • JW

Which section do you look under? scr, monthly coupons, not sure where to look.
        Thanks

        • ChrissyPunkin

On the main Rite Aid page, click on “wellness+ rewards” on the left toward the top. I use the same login as SCR.

        • JW

          Thank you.

Rite Aid has bic razors b1g1 50% off and I have a b1g1 free coupon for these can someone tell me how that works? Do I still have to buy one and get the one that is 50% free?

      • ChrissyPunkin

You should get the first one free because of the coupon and the second one 50% off because of the sale.

        • Ant0288

unless there is an up reward there is no need to use that coupon with the sale. the free one would be the one with the less price, since the store sale comes first the 50% off one would be free… meaning the coupon would give you the same price if you use it now versus if you use it in a few weeks.

      • Roberta

The way the cashier did it for me was, I had two buy one get one, so she entered the first one with the full price, and the second one with the sale price, so both were free.
I am also new to this, but tonight I was so proud when I left Rite Aid. Total before coupons was 58.00, after coupons, was 36 inc. tax, and got back 40.00 in rewards. So they paid me to take everything I got! I love it!!

    • Imousework

Regarding Prilosec, $7 ups wyb 42 ct @ $24.99. If I bought two, would I get $14 ups?

    • Imousework

Thanks for the tip! Do you happen to know if this is a month long deal? My ad this week just ended b/c I'm in So Cal, but would love to help out my sister in law's pup with the treats:) p.s. If you like Ritz…check out the tip I shared above! Yay for sharing tips!!!

    • Jennifer

Been out of the Rite Aid loop a while and want to make sure I've got things straight before going in tomorrow…

If I buy 15 Lays Stax I will get 5 UPS for spending $15 and another 15 UPS since each Stax is printing a bonus one for a total of 20 UPS, right?

    • Guest

I usually shop CVS so I'm new to the whole Rite Aid thing, Can someone please tell me if I have this correct. 1. the +up rewards print off on your reciept and can be used the same day on a different transaction or saved for a later use, correct? 2. the Single Check Rebates have to be entered online to get the money back, correct?
      3. Im still confused on the Multiple Coupons. Can you pair 3 coupons, instead of 2, at the same time for 1 item?
Thank you sooo much in advance for any additional tips/help you can offer to a Rite Aid newbie! :)

      • Frugal4eva

#1 and 2, the anser is yes. Question #3, not sure because I'm pretty new to RA too. So far so good. (Great actually!) Lots of freebies.

      • Sandy

You can pair a Video Values coupon, a manufacturers coupon and a Rite Aid “manufacturers” coupon which will begin with a 48 or 49 ALL together.
Take a look at their coupon policy as it spells it out completely.

      • BrittanyP

the up rewards do print on your receipt and they CAN be used on the same day/different transaction or saved for later use. the single check rebates, you can either pick up a form at the store to mail them off or you can go online and enter them and you can hold out until you get quite a bit together and then request a check. and as far as the 3 coupon question, it just depends on your store and the cashier that checks you out. some stores will allow you to use 3 coupons and some stores will stop you at 2. if you go into your local store and ask they will be more than happy to supply you with the answer.

    • Frugal4eva

Can't find the $5 Neuragel coupon…..Anyone else get it? TY

      • Olemissmoss

I couldnt find it at first, but i used the zip code 90210 and found it.

    • Sara

Don't shop at Rite Aid late in the week. They didn't have any Colgate, Stayfree Pads, Gillette ProGlide Razors, or the Cesar dog treats left. Got some rain checks, but all my UP rewards are going to be expiring tomorrow and have no way to roll them over anymore :-/

      • Kim

just check with your store to see when they get their truck. i hardly ever make it on sunday or monday, but go the day after their truck comes and find most of the things i'm looking for.

      • Dianne L

Do you need toilet paper or soap or anything? It's better to use them than to lose them just because you can't roll them. Think of something fun to splurge on yourself!

    • Jacobandleahharper

Just realized my UP's expired…anyone know if they might still let me use them? Thanks!

    • Ladybugpam
