I know Jenny is in Haiti- so thank you for doing this for us! (whoever you are!):)

    • Doktoreliza

      what is +UP?

      • Nita Royal

UP rewards are store “money” that print on the bottom of your receipt when you make a qualifying purchase. They can be used for your next store purchase, with a few exclusions.

      • Wdra0632

Or you can use them at Harris Teeter. But they expire in 2 weeks so don't forget about them. Free money is always great!!!

        • Darrj

You can use your ups at Harris Teeter???

    • jennifer p.

So do the UP rewards count for the price before Rite-Aid rebates & also are the rebates instant? Thanks and Blessings

      • ashley

the single check rebates are not instant. you enter your receipt info on riteaid.com and it adds up the amount for the whole month, then they send you a check for the total. i’m not sure what you mean about the ups counting for the price. i do know that when you use coupons or ups to ‘pay’ for items that get a rebate, you still get the same amount on the rebate. example= you buy a $5 item and have a $1 coupon and use $1 up, you still get $5 rebate!

      • Nita Royal

The UP rewards come off of your total, and are independent of rebates. If you buy a $10 item with $10 worth of UPs, you can still get the full rebate. The SCR’s are not instant, by a long shot. You must enter your receipt information ar RiteAid.com. In a day or so, you will be able to see the accumulated amount of your rebates. At the end of the rebate period (or when you are SURE you are finished shopping for that time period), you simply click on the button and a rebate check is mailed to you.

You can only get ONE rebate check per time period, so make sure that you don’t request your check early. If you never request the check, RA will eventually send it to you anyway. Hope this helps.

      • Nita Royal

I typed up an answer explaining the rebates, but it says that it must approved by a moderator (?)

Instead, I'll suggest that you use the “getting started” link in the upper right hand of this page. It explains SCR's very well.

    • Hailyn_&_Davids_Mom

Just a FYI, my Betty Crocker coupon from SS 1/30 is $.75 off 2 items. The one listed on here says it is off just one. Thanks for all the other great deals.
      ~Waynesboro, VA

      • mj

Mine too from the AJC in Johns Creek, GA.

    • kristi d

I read on another board that the Betty Crocker cake mixes, frosting and cookie mix ..are all part of the monthly 1Up reward for each one you buy

      • kristi d

Sorry didnt explain that very well..If you buy 2..You would get the weekly sale 2Up and two 1Ups for the monthly sale.. so both for free

    • ChrissyPunkin

Don't forget that there is a Video Value coupon for $1/2 Betty Crocker baking items (the picture is for fudge brownies, though). Makes the deal even…wait for it…sweeter. :-)

    • Aunt_DeeDee

When I was in RiteAid the other day I only got credit towards my $100.00 on what I spent after coupons, when I called the store they said they would get back with me but I have not heard back from anyone.

      • Diane

It should be before coupons. I got $54 towards mine in one transaction and only spent $4 oop.

      • Ginger

Good luck hearing back. I've don'e 4 transactions towards the winter rewards. The first was 48.00, the one immediately after that showed 4 cents. (The GE light bulbs. ) A few days later, I did another big transaction, and my receipt showed 40.00 towards the Winter Reward. And the last time, it showed something else altogether different. I added all my stuff, and am actually at about 87 towards the reward, so I called Rite Aid cust service, and the guy said they have no way to access those WR records for us, and sometimes the store systems just do what they want to do. He said I should call back once I hit the 100 dollar mark if it doesn't print out, and they'll send me the reward. Nothing they can do till then. Not that helpful, but what are you gonna do? I suggest you just keep track on your own.

        • Paige_Aminehdestin

Unfortunately, CS was telling you the truth there. I called when someone's Resolution Rewards $20 didn't print (2 days before it ended) and the man I spoke with said they never pushed it past store level, so they can't pull it up. He said if it didn't print on the next transaction she did in a day or 2, to call back and they'd go by the Wellness card (or something) and issue her one in it's place. She came in this week and told me that it never printed and she was worried about calling. I assured her, that we'd been assured, they'd fix it if in the end, it really didn't print. So keep track yourself, just in case, but it seems like what's printing on the receipts, from what I gather, is what counted towards the rewards on your *Previous* transaction, not the one on that receipt. If that makes sense.

          • Ginger

Thanks Paige. I’m sure I’m not the only one to think this– I always appreciate your comments and willingness to clarify questions for us. :)

        • Aunt_DeeDee

I am to the point I never want to shop there again, I have been in 3 Rite Aids near where I live and I always run into problems, I love getting good deals and free stuff, but I feel like the headache is not worth it.

          • Ginger

Yeah, I guess it all depends on your tolerance level. Honestly, I’d much rather shop at my Rite Aid where the employees are nice, even if they do have glitches, than try to do deals at Walgreens where they treat you like a theif the second your coupons come out. For me, it’s worth the hassle. The good thing is, from talking to the cust servcie guy, he seemed totally ready to go ahead and send me the 20 WR until I pointed out I wasn’t quite up to the 100 yet, so I’m not worried that they won’t send it once I earn it.

        • mrsmadayar

I've been having trouble with mine too. I sat down with my receipts and sales ads today and I think right now I'm about $3 or $4 short of what my total should be, which I know isn't that big of a deal but I'm a little worried about how it's all going to turn out. I didn't have any trouble with the Resolution Rewards so I'm not sure why my totals keep coming out wrong. I just have my fingers crossed that there's a little delay in the system this time.

    • Harwell1391

Where can I find the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet? Thank you

    • Couponer

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the rebates once you request them? I requested my December rebates and just curious when they might get here.

      • Razlmz

They usually take a couple weeks to get there.

    • Kristen

There is a $1/1 any Hall's cough drops printable out somewhere. I printed 2 earlier this week, but have no clue where I printed them from. This makes them FREE + $1 profit.

    • Wendys1

Unsure what is meant by submit for single check rebate. How do I do this

      • Diane

you might want to look at the tutorials at the top of this post. There is one on single check rebated and one on getting started at rite aid. Those should explain everything

    • kcreviews

Just a word of caution–make sure your +UP rewards are correctly printing on your receipt. I bought a Gillette ProGlide razor yesterday and was supposed to get the $5 +UP but it didn't print out. It was the second razor I had gotten–I got the first one on Monday. But I've gotten a deal twice before with no problem. Not this time. So I went back today and tried to return the razor because I got no +UP reward. She tried to get one to print for me but it still wouldn't work, but to the manager's credit, she issued me a $5 RA gift card instead. I'm happy now, but it was a lot of trouble. So check before you leave the store!

      • Guest

I did the same .They asked me to call Rite aid corporate. But the ad has mentioned only one per household.I did not know what to do :(

        • kcreviews

Maybe they have changed the policy? I have gotten two different toothpastes at two different times before and gotten UP rewards both times, so I just thought it should happen this time. I have to admit I didn't read the fine print. Oops.

          • Jamie

They have started limiting many of the sales, especially P&G products (like the razor) Bummer but there is definitely a limit of 1 on the razor this week.

            • kcreviews

No wonder. Well, I won't be making that mistake again!

      • Aimee

I'm looking at my ad now, for the Fusion Razor it says “Limit 1 per household”. It has been 2 in the past, but not this time.

    • CCShad

Welch's grape juice is FREE if you use the $2/1 q that Jenny posted yesterday under Hot New Printable Coupons.

      • CCShad

Well, almost free – it would be .50 each! I had to check my math there!

    • Lasmith9454

Any one know if the wellness point accumulate before or after coupons are deducted? I will never hit the 1000 points if it is after.

      • Joy

        before coupons

        • Lasmith9454

Thank you for the reply and thank you for good news.

          • Syndilew

My ups and rite aid coupons have always counted. I have spent $74.00 towards my 20 and have only spent about $4.00. I wouldn't get it if it counted after using my ups.

            • Stephanie G.

I *think* she was referring to the wellness points and not the winter rewards or resolution rewards.

      • Smgeorge531

But RA coupons and Ups do not count.

      • Nita Royal

It is before coupons, or I sure wouldn't have hit it last year!

    • Amanda

I really don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but there are VV coupons for the halls and the Betty Crocker cookie mixes.

    • Stacy

I just did this deal after reading the comments. My Rite Aid had five Edy's Strawberry Fruit Bars (not labeled on sale) that rang up for $2.99. I bought all five, and then I bought 2 B1G1 tissues ($2.49 for both) that counted toward the $5 +Up bonus. It worked like a charm!!!

      5 frozen fruit bars – $2.99 each
      2 tissue boxes – $2.49 for both

      Total: $17.44
      Get back: $15 Up+ (5 $2 Up+, 1 $5 Up+)
Total paid: $2.44 for 5 boxes of fruit bars and 2 boxes of tissues!!!

      • Sarah

The 5 frozen bars add up to $14.95. Doesn't it have to be at least $15.00 to get the +UP?

        • Sis2

The tissues are included in the Buy $15 get $5 +up offer, so she spent more than $15.

    • hd_mom

Has anyone else had trouble printing the Chestal/Coldcalm coupons? Ever since I have printed or tried to print them (only got the $2 ones to print) my computer is not recognizing my printer. I keep getting the pop-up warning “Spooler SubSystem App stopped working and was closed”. I have a PC and HP printer.

      • Stephan

Try these homepages, the coupons have a higher value anyway than the coupon.com ones:

        • hd_mom

My UP has an expire date of about 1month (3/15 )instead of 2 weeks as usual.Do all of you have the same .Just wondering if it printed wrong.

      • Nita Royal

I got a couple this week with 3/19 dates. Surprised me too.

the 3/19 date is part of the winter rewards system. some of the stores have a flyer that explains about it.

    • DianaY19

Where do you get the Diabetes and You mag??

      • HeatherL

        Ive been wondering the same…..

        • wolverinehokie

          Walgreens near the pharmacy.

          • AnnaAlycia

Also can get it on line, google diabetes and you. There is a PDF version with all of the coupons. HTH

    • Marcie

What does “oop” mean? I'm not part of the couponing lingo I suppose! :P

      • Out Of Pocket :)

      • Nita Royal

Under the header at the top of this page, there's a link for coupon terms. Many other helpful links as well, to help people get started. Much better than piecing it together, the way I did at the beginning!

    • couponmonster

oop = out of pocket, in reference to your “out of pocket” cost after coupons/rewards etc

    • Syndilew

This may be a funny question but on the Gillette deo, why wouldn't you just use the B1G1 coupon on the Gillette and then it would be .50 a piece? Also, could someone answer a question that I have been wondering for a while, if I have two B1G1 coupons, where one is a manufacturer and one is a store or competitor coupon, does this make both products free at Publix?

      • I just googled it and this is what one site said..
Here are things that make Publix KRAZY!
BOGO Sale: One of the great deals at Publix is the Buy 1 Get 1 sale. The products actually ring up as half off so you can choose to just buy 1 or 2. In a B1G1 sale, you can use 2 manufacturer coupons, one for each item. You can also use a store coupon if there is one available. When you use a BOGO coupon with a Publix BOGO sale, it will look like this:

Buy 2 $4.00 Item, each will ring up $2.00 each
Use BOGO coupon (will subtract $2)
        Final Price: $1.00 each

        • Syndilew

No, I mean if the item isn't BOBO and just on sale but let's say that I have a BOGO manufacturer and then a BOGO target coupon. Would this make both items free or would I have to purchase four? Sorry, just wondering, as I have yet used two of these coupons together but do have a few and am wondering how best to use them?

          • mrsmadayar

In my experience yes they would both be free, but each store has different policies concerning competitor's coupons.

          • GA~mommy

my publix told me they do not accept target coupons and another store but I forgot which one.

      • Christy

The Gillette deal shouuld work just as you said, I have done this before and had no problems

    • LKH

Do Rite Aid deals work at stores that are Rite Aid/Save-A-Lot?

      • wolverinehokie

My understanding is that a lot of them do not work, but I've never tried personally. I've just read a lot of complaints related to those stores. I think the +UP might not work, but other deals might, or something along those lines.

    • guest

I haven't shopped at Rite Aid in a long time and I just noticed that they have bonus coupons on Video Values. I was able to print off a $2, $1, and another $1 off your purchase coupons. Can I use all of those at one time, along with the $4/$20 beauty bonus coupon??

      • Jeannie

from what i read on the coupon policy at riteaid.com, yes you can use both the manufaturer coupon and the riteaid coupon on the same single product, as long as it doesnt go above the price of the product. in other words, if your combined coupons are more than the total price, you have to choose one or the other coupon. ………and to anyone else who is interested, i wanted to say i found a 1$ off trojan coupon at https://trojancondoms.wufoo.com/forms/save-up-to-5-off-trojana-brand-products/ i just printed it out tonight. that would make the trojan condoms even cheaper :)

      • Yes! You can use any coupons you print and all your +ups at the same time!

      • HeatherL

That really just depends on whos ringing you up. They keep changing the policy every day it seems but i went on thurs and was able to use (3)$2 off winter rewards and (3)$1 off non prescription item but have been told no before so just ask when you walk in so u dont waste time shopping and then not be able to use them

      • Bamasaver

Yes, you should be able to use your $2, $1, & $1 at the same time along with your $4/20 beauty bonus. Shouldn't be a problem since none are multiples of the same type of coupon. HeatherL (below) was probably denied before when trying to use multiples of the same type…e.g., more than one $2 at a time. I think that would be because each of those coupons says only one per customer. Each one has an individual's name on it & while we can have more than one video value account if we have multiple e-mail addresses (hence each $2 coupon will have a different name on it), I don't think we're supposed to use more than one of each coupon at a time. Some cashiers may let you do it, but it goes against the “rules” stated on the coupon.

    • Adncsu1

I am a newbie to Rite Aid…we have only been couponing at CVS. So, I have a really quick question. At CVS, we usually can go Saturday Night and get the deals for Sunday since they already have their computers switched over. Does anybody know if Rite Aid does this as well? Thanks!!!

      • Nita Royal

You may want to advise what area you're in. The RA's around here (Eastern NC) don't seem to do this, but I've seen others post that their deals start as early as Thursday!

      • jessc5

No…I tried a couple weeks ago. They said I could get the next week price because the tags were up, but I would not be able to get the +UP's. I just waited until the next week.

      • HeatherL

They will do it IF the sign is already up. They have to honor the sale price shown even if the dates dont match up

      • Renny

They can't give you the +ups, before the sale actually begins, but they will give you the $$ amount off if the signs are already up, hth. Some areas have different sales cycles, but I think this is how they all work in terms of honoring early +ups.

    • HeatherL

Having trouble with the Biotrue coupon. When i select “printable” it does take me to the site but only offers a $1 off 10oz bottle…… is there another way to locate the one shes showing to use ($2 off)

      • Caroline

Hey, I got it because I was signed up for their emails. I don't know if it'll automatically send you the $2 off coup if you sign up for the emails now. They just sent mine a couple of days ago, but I've been signed up for their emails for a while now. Best of luck!

    • katie

When I click the 'create list' button, I get a blank page with no list. Does anyone have the same problem or know the solution?

    • Etnekoi

In the Ride Aid store I went to Adult Oscillococcinum Natural Flu Remedy 6 ct. is $14 something and Chestal Cough with Honey Adult Formula 8.45 oz., is $10 something,
which make it become around $5 after rebate for each, so I only got whatever shows in the advertisement. At least items show in ad will have the same price as the ads.

    • je

on KY $7 coupon i think riteaid don't accept printBLE COUPON OVER $5.

      • Andre

They took my printed $6/2 for Motrin PM.

      • Jenni P

I am going to bring mine in and ask. They probably won't risk it, since the policy is to not accept printables over $5, but since they know me, they -might- let me… This is DEFINITELY a YMMV situation.

      • Amy L Parks

they took mine, it was well printed and they said it looked real enough

    • Hisgurl7

Hi everyone. I have $7 in up rewards that are going to expire today. I just realized this and I have 3 small children that I would have to load up and drive 20 miles to our nearest RA. I tried to call customer service but they were already closed. Has anyone ever had up rewards expire and been able to get a gift card or something from customer service? What are my options?

      • Renny

Just ask the manager at your fav RA, they may let you use the expired +ups, I have had it happen once before! If that doesn't work, maybe call corp & just ask sweetly! RA has always had GREAT customer service for me!

      • Sb

Call your local rite aid and explain to them your situation. In the past, corporate doesn't do anything about expired ups but your store manager may be a little more understanding and might make an exception for you.

    • Victoria

How many times can you earn the $20 when you spend $100 deal?

      • Kerry72nc

limit 1 per household (and wellness card)

    • Kerry72nc

I just noticed today purchase 2 items that are on sale B1G1F. The items were $3.99 each. I thought I'd be able to get my 20% the one item at full price but apparently not. Since it's attached to a FREE item they consider it a sale item from what the Store Manager told me. It was odd because on the check out screen it read $3.19 for each but the receipt printed $3.99. ??? Anyway, I guess it is what it is and passing along.

      • 3monkeysmom

The same thing happened to me last week. Bought an item that was $19.99 (and part of a Buy 1 get 1 50% off) and on the screen it rang up $17.99 ( I have the 10% discount) and underneath it said “wellness plus discount” or something like that. When I got home and checked the receipt, it was on there for full price. Very weird. I've noticed too alot of times, when the cashier tells me my total, it's a different total than what the screen says. Not sure why……..

        • ChrissyPunkin

I finally figured this out. When the first one rings up at regular price, it will show your discount. Then, when the second one rings up the register will take off the entire second item because of the BOGO and bump the price of the first one back to regular price. You don't get BOGO and the 20%; the register takes the better of the two, which is BOGO. Hope that makes sense! :-)

FYI I went into Rite Aid tonight and some of the packages of Rite Aid Tugaboos Mega Pack Diapers or Overnights ( 2 for $25.00 27 count per package ) have a $2.00 on the package so that makes 54 of them $.31 each.

    • Lindseymhelms

I have a question- and sorry if it has been answered.. the $4/20 Beauty Bonus coupon- can that be used towards anything in store (ie. this deal scenario) or just beauty products? Thanks :)

      • Diane

        Anything in the store.

      • Melody

        Anything!! :-)

    • Olemissmoss

Just left RiteAid in Columbus, MS not a happy shopper. I bought $51 pretax and precoupon of the Heart Health promotion where you buy $30 of items shown, get $10 UPS, buy $50 of items shown, get $20 UPS. WELL…I since I used coupons, they told me that the purchase price was no longer $50. I only got a $10 UPS. I told them this is not the case at all stores. I told him I would be calling customer service. I will not let this go! I do not like a company that tries to trick me. If the fine print is “total after coupons” then that needs to be stated in the ad. Do you agree. However, I think he is mistaken because what I have read from all or your posts and from Jenny's info, the UPS rewards print out based on pre-coupon total. Reassurance would be great.

      • Nita Royal

When I did my $50 deal, I used so many Q's that my OOP was only $4. And I got the $20 UP, so you should have too!

        • Ginger

Yep, both of my heart health UPs were hardly anything out of pocket. Got the 2nd 10 for 2+$ OOP. If you're sure you got the right items, you should definitely call CS.

      • wolverinehokie

If you have reached the 10% off or 20% marks, it could mess with your total. Those are taken into account before your total, but calling customer service usually seems to work when people run into that situation.

        • dee

This is how that works. You get the 20 percent off OR the sale price. Whichever is higher. If you dont want the free one which makes it 50% off (and some people dont if you can believe that!) , you can still get the 20% off of one. The register doesnt know ahead of time that youre going to get two so it takes off the 20%, however after the second one rings up free it adds the 20% discount back onto the total.

      • GA~mommy

It's not the cashiers fault, obviously it was the register that did not print the up, the cashiers can't force the up to print. The deals are before coupons (except for the winter rewards I think) but he may not have known why it didn't print so guessed that it was before coupons for the deal. Are you sure you didn't miss the deal by a few cents?

        • Olemissmoss

I was not rude to the cashier. I did tell them I would be calling customer service to work it out though. I am interested…why do you think the the winter rewards program is different from all the others. Did you read somewhere that it is pre or post coupon price. Thanks, I would like to know where to look so I may be more informed the next time. Although it is just my opionion, I feel companies (ALL of them) should be clear about their policies as it applies to customer issues. These policies should not be hidden but available to all customers. It should also be fair across the board, not one way at one Riteaid and a different way at the next one down a few blocks.

          • Gina

Hi there! I just wanted you to know the winter rewards are added up before you use coupons. I went to riteaid.com & winter rewards, than FAQ…It was stated there…I did have a problem with them not adding up when the program began…I just called customer service, they were extremely nice…I had to give them my reciept information so they could check…With in a few days it was fixed…I believe it was a computer error…

I also wanted to comment on companies not making policys clear. I get so annoyed myself about this, but most retail stores, drug stores & grocery stores are mild compared to Car Sales, Cell Phones Mortgages or Cable Companies…They almost make it impossible to understand what fees they are charging & where this money is going…lol

          • dee

ok here is how it is. its a brand new system and its glitchy. its gonna take a while to work the kinks out. thats just how it is :( nobody is trying to trick you. its a computer system issue. here is what you can do next time that happens. have them refund everything and then ring it up a second time. usually that will make it print out. also I think the 10 heart health dollar up reward is only available twice. so if you got it last week or the week before you wont qualify for it a third time. another thing you can do is call corporate and they can mail you a plus up.

      • Dee

        HE IS MISTAKEN.

    • Olemissmoss

Does anyone live in or near West Point, MS. I feel like I am the only coupon shopper in my town. I would like to meet up and talk to share info and ideas. email me at olemissmoss@yahoo.com

Question – SCR – am not sure about this, I have one available now to print, BUT, do I need to wait until I have all SCRs submitted for the month of FEB? THEN print? so is a one shot thing per month to get the SCRs? hope this question makes sense!

      • atlanta coupon queen

wait until everything is in for the month – then submit. you can't print the rebate check – they mail it to you.

        • fortunefairye

ok, I think I understand, just one more question…..when I enter all the info….does it take a while for it to show on my account?

          • Caroline

After I've entered my receipt information, it usually takes 2-3 days for it to post to my account.

      • Mel

You can only request one rebate check per rebate period, so make sure you're all done submitting for the month before you request it.

        • fortunefairye

          thanks for your help!

    • Mominsc

I purchased 2 halls, 2 Lysol sprays, 2 finesse, 1 oscillo, 2 mentos, 2 Betty crocker and 1 revitalens, and 1 excedrin. I checked my receipt when I got home and noticed I got all my up rewards plus 2-$1 ups I was not anticipating. It says at the bottom of the up “food grp”. So I am guessing these were from purchasing the mentos. They are on sale for $0.50 each, and I had a $.50 coupon. So I think it ended up as a unintended money maker!

      • wolverinehokie

My guess is it was for the Betty Crocker stuff.

      • atlanta coupon queen

It was def the betty crocker – I didn't get any this am when i got my mentos.

      • Nita Royal

It was the Betty Crocker…makes that deal a money maker.

      • Kris

Your extra $2 ups came from the betty crocker items.. Same thing happened to me but I didnt get mentos.

    • AWESOME trip for me :) !!

    • Nichols_again

I thought I did so good today with all the SCR..I did all of them and then got home only to see that I could have saved $5 more with the printable coupons..BUMMER. I hadn't gone with the idea of getting the SCR deals but then I changed my mind. Oh well I ended up with 6 gillette deoderants and all of the SCR deals for less than 10 dollars after SCR

      • AR

The Rite Aid that I use lets me do post coupons if I forget them at home as long as they are in the same week. You might try that.

    • Couponlisa78

Just a warning for anyone planning on buying the Boiron products – the coupons do not scan at the register (as has always been the case). Until today the cashier would just verify that you had indeed purchased the correct item for that coupon and would key it in, but the cashier and manager at my store told me that there is a new policy in place – if it doesn't scan for any reason, it cannot be used. He said something about having to call corporate to get replacement coupons, but was not very clear on what exactly to do. Just be prepared!

      • atlanta coupon queen

Mine didn't scan either – but the manager just took it off using a dummy man coupon to make it work – the Rite Aid in Vinings – GA

        • Nichols_again

I didn't even know there were coupons out there for that before I got there, but often times my coupons will do that god awful double beep you hate to hear, but the girls just push it through anyway.

          • Dee

hahahahaha~~~ that is a horrible sound!!!

      • Car3fan

This was the same occurence at my store, too, (Nashville). The cashier told me that if the coupon didn't scan, they would previously push it through; however, the clearinghouse does not pay them. This store's policy is not to accept the coupons any longer if the scan or typing in the numbers does not work.

      • Dee

I think you need to call corporate on that one. I work for RA and Ive heard nothing about any new policy like that. The plus ups HAVE to be scanned in order to be reimbursed however coupons DO NOT. Unless its an issue JUST in your area. I hope they are just confused.

      • librarygirl

Shopping in KY and same thing happened. Manager wouldn't push the coupons through, so I had her take them off the ticket. Boiron coupons won't scan… she said other people had brought them in and none work.

    • Melissa

      GRRR. I purchased:
      $1 +UP WYB (2) Halls Cough drops 30 ct., at $1
$20 +UP WYB $100 worth of Select Products
-.50/1 Halls cough drops, February All You magazine
-.55/1 Halls cough drops, in store dispenser
(use (2) .55/1, makes both FREE)

But I didnt get an UP (even though it was marked on the shelf). I am just going to return them. They also didn't ring up the right price. The lady behind the counter was complaining to me about having to work and I didnt want to deal with her again once I noticed the mistake!

      • Nichols_again

That does me in to go into a business and hear them gripe about having to work. HELLO! Our Lawrenceburg, TN RA gals are wonderful

      • dee

did you use a wellness card? sounds like it may not have been scanned?

      • Jecoupon1

I don't remember the count size of the bag, but I got up to the register and my subtotal was much larger than I thought and so I started looking at how much stuff rang up. I grabbed some of the small bags of halls and a few larger bags because they were labeled the same (2/$2 – $1 UP = 2/$1). BUT, they rang up $4.49 or something. So I had the cashier void those and I ran back and got the small sizes instead. They might have them labeled wrong in the store.

    • Mingram12

Went to Rite Aid today for the 10 UP for $30 worth of Claritin. Bought $50 worth but still didn't get 10UP. I paid for one of the Claritins with my Med Flex card because it was prescription. Does anyone know if this made the difference?

    • Ladybugpam

Hey, Everybody, there are $1 off coupons for the Little Fevers Infant, Colds, Multi-Symptom, Nose Saline 1 oz in the Coupon Database under “Little Remedies”!!! So happy to find these cuz I'm stocking up the kid's section of my medicine cabinet for my little one.

      • Ladybugpam

and it works for the tummy gummies, too, cuz that is a Little Remedies product also:D

Don't forget about the Aquafresh VV for $1.50 off from Jan, expiry 2/26. As long as they have the Iso Active or the Advanced on sale and you print out the manu q's to match the VV q's…you've got yourself some FREE TOOTHPASTE!

    • DoggieMama

The stores in my area (Chattanooga) don't carry Biotrue contact lens solution, and from what the cashier said, it almost sounds like they're getting ready to switch to the short ad!

    • TMW

I was very disappointed in Rite Aid this week because the were out of all their sale items. I made two trips for sale items and both stores were out of most of their sale items so I didn't even try to coupon with them!

    • savysaver

Biotrue solution coupon is for a 10oz bottle. The bottles with the UP bucks are 4oz. bottles. Coupon won't work.

      • Jecoupon1

Worked for me – I didn't even notice it. But, my RA doesn't inspect every coupon.

    • Jenni P

For those of us with the 20% discount – KY Yours + Mine and Kissables are only .99 cents after the $7 FB coupon, and the $3 (Jan OR Feb) VV coupon! (The $7 coupon scanned with no problem, so my store manager allowed it.)

KY Yours + Mine (either reg or Kissables) 15.99 (20% discount price, as regular price is $19.99)
      – $3 VV, $7 FB coup
      = $5.99
      Receive $5 UP!
      .99 cents in the end!

Do I need even mention that St. Valentine's Day is only a week away? And that KY lets you print TWO of the $7 coupons, so you can buy BOTH, or “splurge” on KY Intense (at $8.99 after 20% discount, coupons, and $5 UP)?

      • Lindseymhelms

how do we get to the 20% discount?

        • Jenni P

I earned mine by shopping at Rite Aid enough prior to the end of 2010, that I got 1000 points on my Wellness+ account, which got me a 20% discount off of nearly everything (even milk, in my state, SC). You can earn a 10% or 20% discount with your wellness card by shopping with it, however I am not sure how they are tabulating points this year. I can't tell if they are counting UPs spent, or manufaturer coupons, but I know they are counting SOMEthing other than just the OOP cost.

      • Wdra0632

you can not use the $7 coupon at Rite Aid that is printed. It's their policy.

        • Dianne L

She said it worked at hers.

        • Jenni P

It is their policy, which is why I pointed it out to the store manager, who is usually very strict about coupons. She looked it over, scanned it, it scanned just fine, so she decided to let me use it, since it didn't have to be keyed in. The store will receive reimbursement in full with no issues, and since it wasn't keyed in, it won't even be noticed by corporate, so that manager won't get in trouble.

    • Kristi

Does anyone know if the Kelloggs PopTarts print the extra $1Ups? I know they are on sale for $1.99 each, there is a $1.00/2 coupon in yesterdays paper making them 2/$2.98 but it would be awesome for 2 -$1Ups to print making them 2 boxes for .98!!! Anyone know?

    • Jolley1

I had an awesome trip to my local Rite Aid stores! Keep in mind that this was purchased at 2 different stores with multiple transactions. I started with $8 up rewards. I ended up with 36 bags of Halls, 2 mentos, 8 butterfingers, 9 milkyways, and 10 Excedrin PM's. I ended up paying out of pocket $5.71 and still had $7 up rewards. They took $2 of my rewards that didn't scan and I didn't notice until it was too late. So I should have really had $9. But whatever. And I didn't clean them out either. That was the whole purpose in going to 2 different stores. One manager would only give me $1.99 for my $2.50 off coupons of Excedrin but that was ok. The other store gave me the full $2.50!

      • Nita Royal

36 bags of Hall's? Sure hope your throat feels better!

        • Jolley1

It does! And so do the throats of about 15 of my closest family and friends!

      • Razlmz

        Great job! :)

    • Jolley1

Also, I forget to say that I was about $50 away from getting the extra $20 up reward but after those visits I'm only $5 away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • The -.75/1 Betty Crocker super moist cake mix or frosting, SS 1/30 in my paper was AND not or… so it doesn't work in my area, Greenville SC

      • Jenni P

It does. Just buy one cake mix and one frosting, and you will MAKE .75 cents less the tax.

        • So confused!!… If each item is $2, that equals $4, I can only use 1 coupon so How will I make $.75 less the tax…

          • There is a +up deal running all month for $1 +up when you buy Betty Crocker Cake Mix or Betty Crocker Frosting. So, you buy 1 Betty Crocker Cake Mix and 1 Betty Crocker Frosting. The total comes to $4, minus the $0.75 coupon, get back $4 in +up ($2, $1, $1).

            • says $2 +UP WYB (2), So I buy 2, one of each =$4 take off one $.75 coupon= $3.25 minus $2 +up =$1.25 which Equals $.62 each sooo What am I missing hear…

            • KA

      • Nita Royal

Thanks for posting the list! Do you know if there are limits on these? My household goes through a lot of Peanut butter.

        • Altheas_mama_bear

I would like to know too! The cake mix is a great deal!

      • softballmom

I have a question…wouldn't this make the Hormel Chili free after +UPs?
        Buy: (6) Hormel Chili @ 2/$3
        Use: (2) $1.50/3
        Total Due: $6.00 +tax
Get Back: $6.00 +Ups ($1+UP for each Chili)

Not sure if it is $1+UP for each chili or $1+UP for every 2 purchased?

        • ChrissyPunkin

Should be $1 +UP for each can. I really wanted to do this same scenario, but I can't find them in my store.

    • Papurvis

My local Rite Aid is always out of sale items. They offer me a rain check for the sale price but tell me that they can't give me the UP's reward. Without the UP's the products are no longer a deal. Is this how it works everywhere?

      • Kchaney7

My RIte Aid (Columbia, SC) always gives me the UP rewards, even if I get a rain check. They just write on the bottom of the receipt that they owe me +UPs.

        • Sarcasticangel_82

Thats what they do here in Bowling Green, KY.

      • Donna091960

same as mine here in KY. I have even been there within a couple of hours of the store opening. But already out. Such as the razors last week.

      • softballmom

My Rite Aid actually puts that there is supposed to be a +UP given at the bottom of the rain check and then they deduct the amount of the +UP that is to be given from my total owed. Example: They write me a rain check for the Hall's Cough Drops 30ct. @ 2/$2 with $1+UP when you purchase 2. I go in with my rain check and coupons. They ring up @ $2 for 2 and I give them 2 man. q and 1 VV q deducting a total of $1.50. My total is then 0.50 +tax and then they deduct the $1+UP and give me the overage back in actual money. As everyone else has said though….you never know with RA!!!

      • Sandy

Co. policy is that the rain check should be given minus all UPR.
ie. Last week my store was out of Edy's. So instead of $2.99 – $2 UPR on RC, it simply stated .99 each.

    • CJ

Has anyone in the Chattanooga area been able to find the Oscillococcinum or ColdCalm products? I've been to three stores, and can't even find an empty spot on the shelves where they SHOULD be, and the closest I've found is an infant version 3-pack. The store employees have been clueless, and say if it's not on the shelves, they are out of stock, but we can't even find where they are supposed to be located.

      • heather

I'm not in your area, but at my RA' s they have it located on the bottom shelf in the baby isle, over by the vitamins. hth

      • Susan

I'm in Chatt. too. My clerk told me none of the Chattanooga stores cary these items.

        • Jen

I did find both of those products at one Chattanooga store, but only 1-2 of each, and they were sitting by themselves in a weird, unmarked shelf near the cough/cold stuff. Didn't find them at all at the other stores in my area. Sometimes they don't have everything in the ad.

    • KA

Does RA have limits on the # of +UP deals on the same card, like CVS does? If I got the halls and old spice deals today, can i continue these deals for as many coupons as I have? or do I only receive +UP once?

      • Nita Royal

That's a real mystery question. They used to post if there is a limit, but now it seems to be trial and error. I usually just get one, then try later in the week. If the UPs don't print, I do a return on the spot. Or, I watch these comments until someone else learns what the limit is and shares that info! Even the store managers don't usually know for sure.

      • Sarcasticangel_82

I agree, u never know. It let me do the month long contact deal several times in December but then one day it didnt and I was told the limit was one…

      • Sandy

I'm pretty sure that the OS has a limit of 2. I don't have the flyer but double check the ad.

      • WynetteC

I know that the Old Spice Deodorant is a limit of 2 deals. It was posted on the printed yellow tag that hangs below the items that are on sale 2/$8 this week.

    • Ok so after all my confusion I have caused over the Betty deal, lol, sorry.. Come to find out… NONE off these Rite deals pertand to my stores around here… I was told today becuz my RA store are Save a-lot store that they dont have the same deals, UGGGG!!! So there goes that idea, I'll just stick to CVS and Wags

    • Angelareid821

Does anyone have a good scenario for the Olay/Secret deal?

      • melly

i just copied and pasted but this was the scenario i was going to do but keep hearing about all the failed attempts with these olay deals so i may just skip it im not sure
        (2) olay moisturizer $8.09 each = $16.18
        (2) body w @4.99 = 9.98
        (1) bar 4 pk $5.99
        (1) secret deodernt $3.29

        50% off
        (1)secret $1.65
        (2) body wash $ 5
        full price
        (2) moisturizers $16.18
        (1) bar 4pk $5.99
        total $28.82
        minus $12 (2 free moisturizers) max $6
        minus $3 (1free deoderent) max $3
        minus $4 ($4 off $20)
YOU PAY $9.82 ish plus tax and get back 5 ups so $4.82ish for all that!!! THATS AWSOME did i do this right? can someone double check ?

        • Marina c

I'm wanting to do this deal too but I'm thinking the bogo 50% is going to make it frustrating. I was thinking if you buy 2 moisturizers then one of those will be 50%- 2 body washes-one of those will be 50% off. I soap and 1 deodarant at 50% off.
This is what I am coming up with .
          2 moisturizers- 1 @ $8.09 and 1@ half off 4.04 =$12.13
          2 bodywashes-1@4.99 and 1 @half off 2.40= $7.39
          1 soap $5.99
          1 secret $1.65 half off
          total-27.05
          minus $6.00 free moisturizer
          minus 4.04 free mositurizer
          minus 1.65 deodorant
          total 15.36
I'm figuring they are only going to give you the discounted price for the free deoderant. As long as your before total gets over $25.00 it should print the UP.
I may do the olay deal at Walgreens rather than Rite Aid

          • melly

ya i dont know …thats why i havent risked it i just did up my seneros thinking worst case scenero they would take 50% of the 3 cheapest items which in this case was the deoderent. and 2 body washes…then the whole things become not only if thats the way in fact it will happen but then what about the deodernt will they only write the discount price on the coupon? or the full price? if they only take the full price it might be benifical to get a double pack of deoderent so that when it is subject to 50% off it will still be close to the max of $3 i hope you can make sense of all that because i practicly confuse myself just writing it hahaha

    • Syndilew

Ok, so do you ladies figure up your total add sales tax and then use your ups first? I was wondering if using my ups first would reduce my sales tax because RA lets your coupons be more than the item but not your ups more than the subtotal? This has been bothering me but didn't want to lose money on my coupons either.

      • Give store coupons before manufacturer coupons. Store coupons will only take away from the subtotal (before tax) while manufacturer coupons will cut into the subtotal. Sometimes you'll have a negative subtotal, then the tax gets added on and the total becomes positive again.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Rite Aid policy says that coupons can never cut in to tax. All stores should be modifying coupons to the sales price of the item purchased to stay in compliance with corporate policy. If you shop at multiple stores though, please don't get mad if one store allows the overage and then another doesn't. The one that doesn't is trying to do it the right way, but people tend to get very upset over it.

    • tricia daniel

ok everyone, trying to get a better understanding.just signed up for vv, so if i have a vv for the halls which is .50 off then i have 2q,s for .50 does it become .50 cent for two,

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Yes is the short answer. You can always stack a RA coupon with a basic Man. coupon. So you'd pay $.50 for the 2 packs and get a $1 +UP for the purchase as well, so even better.

    • SavSmiles

Does Rite Aid take competitor coupons? I see some Publix coupons are used for Scrubbing Bubbles above

      • Sandy

No. The scrubbing bubbles coupon is a manufacturer coupon found in a Publix booklet.

    • Brandi

Can someone help me with the list? I clicked create list and then when it opens new windown and I go to print it just prints a blank page with a date on the bottom. Thanks for you help.

      • Scqponqueen

Did you click on the boxes of the items you wanted added to your list before you printed it? There is also an option to print the entire list, but you also have to check that to get it to do it. Hope that helps!

    • Roxcoel

rough week for me.. the oscillo was not in the ad at my store (which I didn't know until I went oops! at least I saw it ring up full price) and the secret deod that I use wasn't part of the buy one get one 50% off either :( ended up with just batteries and the contact solution. bummer!!

    • dee

Went to RA today and picked up 2 KY yours and mine, 1 KY warming, 2 Arm and Hammer spin brushes, 2 Excedrin, 1 Neutrogena mineral foundation, Neutrogena eyeliner, 2 Maybelline mascaras, 2 Maybelline 24 hour lips sticks, 1 Maybelline eye shadow, 3 Biotrue contact lense solutions, 2 Drano Max, after coupons, wellness plus, 5 dollars off 25, oop including tax was under $19! And have up rewards for the next trip! $135 worth AFTER sales prices and discounts for $19!

      • tina

were you able to use the $7 facebook coupon for the KY products???

    • NewBee

Just realized my UP's expired on Sunday….will they still let me use them? Please say yes! Thanks

      • Bamabobbie

Sorry, but I couldn't use mine at RA.

    • frances

has anyone been able to use the $7 KY coupon at RA?

      • Syndilew

        Yes, yesterday without a problem.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Really, stores aren't supposed to accept IP coupons over $5 so a lot of people are going to run in to roadblocks there. I know many stores still accept them, but we're not supposed to.

    • WynetteC

Just a heads up on the Winter Rewards system. I purchased items that qualified and hoped to go over the $100 mark this week. I was already at $86 towards my goal before the purchases. I checked out with several items and just knew I would go over the goal since I had well over $15 of participating products that I was purchasing. But somehow it all added up short and came to $98.64 towards the goal of $100 on my receipt. I didn't let this get me down. I just made another purchase of 4 packs of Stride gum ($1.26 or so each) that were indeed participating products of the $20 UPs wyb $100 in participating products. I did use two buy 1 get 1 free coupons and after I paid a couple dollars, my printout accumulating total actually decreased down to $94 towards my $100 total. I showed the cashier the two receipts and she had never seen it decrease the total like that. She knew I was buying the gum to meet the amount from what we both saw I only needed a little over a dollar and a half to make it. So she took one more of the stride gum and rung it up for me and that receipt showed that I was at $99 towards my $100 goal for the Winter Rewards (W.R.) We both got excited. So she did one more transaction of one pack of gum and after it was accomplished the receipt showed a DECREASED amount of $95 towards my $100 goal. At this point she was blown away at the system and why each transaction would go up and then the next transaction would go down for my purchase. She tried once more with 1 pack of the gum and this time it triggered the $20 UP from the Winter Rewards. She definitely was going to show someone else what all had happened because she herself kept watching the system add up towards the goal and then subtract from the goal right before our very eyes. It was really weird.

      • $avin'some$

Someone else posted about that happening but I think it just takes time for your total to be calculated correctly- especially if doing multiple transactions for some reason. I hope it gets corrected for you!

      • Razlmz

Mine did the same thing but it was actually AFTER the $20 ups generated. That receipt said congrats and had the UPS on it and then in my next transaction, the receipt said 94$. The cashier told me it takes a while for the system to update.

      • Cinderellamuth

I had the same thing happen to me, but I wasn't that close when it happened. It was back to back transactions, and it definitely went down on the second receipt. I wondered if it came from paying with Ups generated from those items, but really don't know!

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

It's just a weird glitch, it seems. I've only seen it happen when customers are splitting transactions, or are very frequent shoppers. I think it's possible that the system isn't advanced enough to keep track of that many sales in such quick succession. I think what we've determined in my store, is that the first transaction you do, the total on the receipt is likely that of your last transaction before that one, and then when you do a second transaction, that first one isn't in the system yet, so it goes back to the original “starting” total for that day and only adds the points from that second transaction. Then when you do a third, sometimes it looks like the first and second transactions are both missing from the total, and at other times, it looks like it takes your [daily] starting total + your first transaction + ONE of the other 2, but never all 3. If that makes sense. If anyone else is having this problem and is concerned about it printing (and you don't want to buy random stuff to get it) try waiting until someone else rings up, then do your second transaction. That has seemed to help in the past couple of weeks, I'm assuming since they aren't literal back to back transactions all on the same Wellness Card so the system has time to “update” your points and total.

        • Mine did that last month. They called corporate who verified the tape somehow, and then mailed me my $20.00. Good thing is that I have a bunch of smaller denomination coupons so I don't have to figure out how to spend $20 at one time.

        • Robroy207

I called corporate about this last month. They did say it is a glitch in the system and that I should keep my receipts because February's was doing the same. They are mailing my UPS. Just call corporate tell them what happened and I gaurantee they are all VERY aware of the problem. As a matter or fact he said they aren't really questioning the transactions just issuing the UPS. FYI-They are taking a receipt for verification that you were kind of close or at least trying for the reward

      • Jacynthia

This same thing happened to me on the resolution rewards and there was nearly a week between the two transactions. I just called customer service and they mailed me my UPs.

    • Jlocklear1234

Does anyone have a great deal transaction for the: $5 +UP WYB $25 worth of Covergirl, Olay, Pantene or Secret at B1G1 50% off
      Covergirl Lip and Face Cosmetics??

      • Jlocklear1234

I'm mostly interested in the body wash and deodorant.

    • Frugal4eva

Can you get the $20 winter reward twice? If you reach the $100 twice?

      • Deb

I've been wondering the same thing. I reached mine last night.

      • Nysummer2010

don't think so. Because when you reach $20, it will show “you have already received your $20 +up reward” for winter reward on the receipt. guess it's automatically limited 1 per card.

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

No. The Winter Rewards are definitely a limit of one per household (or Wellness card).

    • Nysummer2010

FYI – RiteAid Coffee – 11oz (page 11on this week ad) rang up $1.99 each at my store (Fresh Meadows, NY). If you buy 2 combined 2*$2 RiteAid coupon which will make both FREE ! and you get $1 upward !!

      • wog

which $2 RiteAid coupon are you talking about?

        • Nysummer2010

the one when you sign up your card on http://www.riteaid.com. They will send you an email with the link saying saving $50 value coupons

        • Nysummer2010

the one when you sign up your wellness card on their website. They will send you an email with the link of $50 value saving coupons.

          • wog

thanks for responding. i signed up my card a while ago so i guess i dont' have those coupons anymore. oh well.

    • Cynthia

I have a question about Rite Aid's policy on post coupons. Two weeks ago I was doing the deal on the Nature Made Fish Oil on Saturday evening. I had printed out my coupons and completely forgot them! I asked the manager if I could buy them and return them the next week so that I could use the coupons that I'd forgotten and he said I could.

When I returned them last week, he wasn't there, and the shift supervisor tried to help me. He returned them all, and then rerang them, but when he saw that they were on sale (BOGOF), he voided off my Wellness Card so that I wouldn't have the sale price! I was disappointed not to get that extra savings, but didn't make a big deal about it because of them being gracious enough to let me use the coupons. I was concerned about the running totals on the Healthy Heart Up Rewards and the Winter Savings. Was he right in taking my card off to keep me from paying the current sale price?

      • Paige_Aminehdestin

Technically, I don't think there is an actual written policy on post coupons. We've been told by our DM and loss prevention that it has to be done in a “timely” manner and we've also been told that to do a post coupon, the coupon should be brought in no later than 24-48 hours. That's actually doing a “post coupon” though, which is actually a function on the registers, not returning and re-ringing product to use a coupon. In the end, I think the SS did do the right thing, because you bought them during the original sale to get the +UP rewards, so returning them and re-ringing and using the coupons while getting the *current* sale almost seems like a way to cheat the system a bit. Since it'll also count towards your points and Winter Rewards twice by simply purchasing the items again at the same price you bought them the first time. Again, there's no written policy that I know about and each store will treat it differently, I'm sure, but in the end, unless you wanted to turn over the Healthy Heart and Nature's Made +UPs you got when you did buy it all originally, you shouldn't be given the current sales price on top of it all. I don't get why they didn't just post coupon the few coupons and give that cash back to you. It's much more simple that way.

        • Cynthia

Thanks, was hoping you'd respond! :) He did try to do post coupons, and it did let him do the manufacturer coupon, but not the VV, which is why he returned and rerang it. I know what you're saying about trying to cheat the system, which is why I didn't make a big deal about it. (although an extra $10 of savings would've been nice!) But did it not subtract it from my running total when he returned it? He scanned the receipt with each of the 3 bottles, and I do believe he scanned my card. I needed to purchase another $15 or so of the Healthy Heart category to get my second $10 +UP, and I'm afraid that it went back down to zero when he returned it WITH my card and rerang them WITHOUT. (not trying to shout, just wishing I could italicize) And by the way, the manager had told me to bring the items back in when I come back.

          • Paige_Aminehdestin

VV coupons are difficult to post coupon, since they always come up as needing to purchase $X amount more, but we've figured out how to make them work, I just don't remember right now. :-S I wasn't trying to imply that you were trying to, or wanting to, cheat the system, that was just a random comment about why he may have chose to do it without the card so that the current sale didn't apply. I'm not sure if returning the product takes down your points or not. I've seen a few returns with Wellness cards, and I don't think it actually affects it. Did you try finishing up the Heart Healthy deal to see if you got the second one? I don't know if it's still going on or not, I haven't seen anyone try for it since last week. I do think that your points and total money spent accumulations won't be affected by the return though. I know a lot of managers tell people to do returns to use coupons later on, I think it's fear of it looking suspicious to do multiple post coupons. Next time, see if they'll just do an even exchange, but use your Wellness card just in case. Even if the item is on sale for cheaper in the new week, the price can be modified up to the price you paid originally, so that it's literally an even exchange minus the coupons you forgot the first time. That way, you're not having to worry if your Wellness account is affect, and the store does it in a way that they are comfortable.

      • Jbush27

You don't have to return items. Just bring in your receipt and the coupons and tell them you forgot your coupons and they will give you the money for the coupons.

So I had planned on getting the Biotrue deal but the 2 off coupon is gone and replaced with 1 dollar off for 10 oz or larger. I'm betting the 10 oz is 4.99 with a 4 up reward is it? Any idea's? Can I still use these 1 off coupons?

Is there a limit on the month long up deals???

Not on most. I think we did find a couple of the shaving deals that are limit of 1.

My Rite Aid here in mcdonough, ga would not accept the printed coupons on the meds for the scr deals. They told me that the new copon policy is if the coupon dont scan then they can not take it.

Take it back and have them do a post coupon if you bought the item. The new coupon policy does not state that. They got information this week to use manually enter in those coupons this week because they are not scanning in the system. They need to read their bulletins that come from corporate.
