Does anyone know if you can use the $5.00 printable more than once under the new card system?

      • That would depend on which printable you are talking about. If it is a Video Values coupon, you can only use one of each. If it is an internet printable, you can use however many you are able to print.

      • Alslaughter2

If you are talking about the RP printable one then yes. You cannot use the VV more than once. I printed 2 of the RP's and did not have any trouble.

      • Jenni

Red Plum's coupons, you can use as many as you are allowed to print. Video Value's coupon are now being tracked – you HAVE to use your card to use the coupon, and it will track whether you have used the coupon already. Plus, the fine print is very clear that they are a one-time use coupon. So don't bother printing them multiples times, because you can only legitimately use them once.

        • Jerry

If I print a VV coupon from my account, and my wife prints one from hers, can we use both on my Wellness+ card?

    • cassia2

Just FYI – the $1.50 coupon on the Bio-true says it's for 10oz+ so it shouldn't be used on the 4oz. :)

    • sarahf

My Angel Soft coupon is for $0.50 off a 6 roll package or larger. Can’t be used on this deal. :(

    • Megan

Anyone know how much the A&H cat litter is and the poundage? Also the Disney Gummy vitamins….cost on those and qty? I’ve only ventured into CVS with and now expanding to RA and WG so I’m not familiar with prices yet.

    • Grubbsfamily01

My VV coupon is now $4 off $20.

      • Starr

Mine is too. I heard they were going to change to that from now on.

        • Lori

That's just the bonus one……there are 2 other $5/$25 for watching specific videos this month. $4/20 is the same % value

    • Bluangel

Where do you find the -4.00 off Airwick coupon? thank you :)

      • Alslaughter2

SS 8/29. She also has every coupon listed in the Coupon Database at the top right of her home page. It is very simple to use and has saved me a ton of searching.

    • Terri

Last week I tried to get the $15 +Up reward deal and it didn't print. We had to redo everything until I had $50 AFTER coupons in order for it to print. Has anyone else had this problem? It kind of changes everything if all of their deals are like that…

      • Mary

I had the same thing happen. It didnt print, but I had the manager look at it. Spent about 10 extra minutes there for him to try and figure out why it didnt print, and then he finally just handed me $15 cash. So, I was good with that. He said that he would report that the coupon is not printing.

      • barbara

I did this with about $51 before coupons and did get the $15 UP.

      • pfsinnh

It should not have happened that way. The $15/$50 deal was great, but it seems like many people had the same problem that you have had.

If you had to actually pay $50 out of pocket to get the $15 in UP's, I would call customer service and have them make it right.

    • Erin

There's a VV Q for RA baby wipes. I imagine that would make for some fairly inexpensive wipes.

      • grace

yes, but it is only for the small packet

    • $savin'some$

my store is mailing me $10 b/c the 10 off next purchase with $30 school supplies didn't print yesterday either. when i called 800- RITEAID as instructed by the cashier, they said the store should have just given me $10 (that's what they instructed stores to do when this printing became a chain-wide issue). annnywaaaay…. just to clarify about a question posted earlier.someone asked about using more than 1 $5 off or $4 off coupon….you guys aren't syaing that you can use more than 1 in one purchase are you? like i can't buy $25 of stuff and use 5 coupons, right? (i know- crazy scenario- just hypothetical).

      • barbara

I had this happen also for the school supplies. The Mngr just did some kind of receipt and had me sign it and gave me $10. It was great,

      • Aminehdestin

You're right. The way we were told to do it, is return what didn't print the +Up, then re-ring it, and if it *still* doesn't print, return it again, re-ring it modifying the price down to adjust for the +UP. There are 2 problems with that: 1st- People are in a hurry and don't want me returning all 27 items since this type was one you buy multiple items to get the reward, b/c manager numbers have to be put in after each item because the sale isn't in the system yet. That takes a looooooong time. 2nd-We'd then have to adjust half the items on your transaction, and with coupons and such that may take certain items below $0 which is against the coupon policy. So they want us to do something that they could potentially *fire* us over. eek. We haven't been told to just post coupon it or anything and give you $10, but basically just take it off the transaction, which is also corporate taking $10 out of our store b/c we won't be reimbursed that way, whereas the +UP rewards are man. coupons that get paid back. I still think they need to listen to my gift card idea so that we give the GC w/out alerting LP to 100 GC modifications to $0. I have a plan! No one cares though. :( lol

As for the multiple total purchase coupons: A lot of newbies have been asking. It seems like a logical question, especially if you have one from redplum and a VV to think it's possible one is a man. coupon while the other is a store coupon. I haven't seen any so far where anyone actually recommends trying to use more than one, b/c policy states “one total purchase coupon” per transaction, even though a few people have said that their stores do allow it [eek] if the total over $50 (technically enough for 2 just not split) which we aren't supposed to do, and a couple that allow it if your total is still over $25 after the first coupon is used [extra eeeeek!].

    • kelsey

I went to Rite Aid the first time last week and was given a hard time by the casher. I'm wanting to try again(with a different casher hopefully), but I have a few questions: The issue we ran into was that I wanted to use a $2 +up coupon and a coupon for the shampoo to make it free. I wasn't buying anything else in that transaction and the amount came up negative. She said I needed to buy something else and I asked if the coupon value could be changed so it came to zero. She did it, but said it was coupon fraude, making me feel horrible. Is that correct? Should I have not asked that? Also, can I use 2 +UP coupons on one transaction? (I didn't try this, but want to get some advice before I try next time) Thanks!

      • pfsinnh

That's correct. When you use UP's and coupons the total can't go to “zero” or below zero. Don't feel horrible, though. You are new and you will get the hang of it! :) (Don't take the cashier's comments personally…to them, they are just doing their job. For us, we may be totally excited to pay 27 cents for $87 worth of stuff, but they are probably thinking, “Just another hour and a half to go and I'm outta here!”)

Jenny has some pretty simple and straightforward scenarios this week. You can do those and get more experience (and get some overage to use for your future trips!)

And yes, you can use more than one UP's coupon in one transaction, but just keep in mind they don't want it to go to “zero” or below.

I hope that helps you! Don't give up!

      • Jenni

You can't use UPs to pay for tax, nor are you allowed overage. Legally, Rite Aid (and any other retailer) is not supposed to mark a coupon down unless you purchase price is less than the amount of the coupon. (Target has recently been in hot water about something similar to this, I think) She was right about this transaction.

But don't feel bad! You are learning a new system of saving money, and it'll take a little time. Perhaps, if this is the most convenient store to you, if you DO see that cashier again, you could explain to her that now you understand what she tried to explain to you, and apologize. If she understood that you are just learning how to do this, and really do want to do it right, perhaps she would be more helpful (or less begrudgingly helpful) next time. A lot of Rite Aid cashiers are still learning about wellness+, too, and if you have questions, she should be able to refer to the store very clear policy, if need be, in order to help educate you on exactly what IS possible. So hopefully, this would also encourage the cashier to more actively educate their customers.

I have a great relationship with nearly all of the staff at my local Rite Aid, and that is even with having to work through some couponing issues that they didn't understand because corporate (at the time) was doing a very poor job of educating store staff on the new wellness+ program.

Hope that helps, and that you won't feel too intimidated to give this another try!

        • Aminehdestin

Do you know what's been happening at Target? I do my best to black out the bar codes of coupons I've adjusted down, just to be told a couple of weeks ago that if we don't *scan* it in the register, corporate doesn't send it in, but my manager said that as long as it's put through as a “vendor coupon” (man. rather than store) it does get sent in with the paperwork and corporate sorts it from there. I don't want the company committing fraud by being paid back for the face value of the coupon when I took $.29 off it or something, and I also don't want to charge one manufacturer $.29 for another manufacturer's product. So I make the bar code unreadable. Hopefully that does prevent it, as they have to manually enter it even in the clearing house. I'm interested in what Target was doing and what's being done about it. My curious nature gets the best of me, I can't help it.

      • grace

basically, like CVS, you cannot use UP rewards to pay for tax, even if it is 1 cent remaining, you have to buy another item to take that overage, and it can be cheap candy, that is what I did

      • Aminehdestin

Also, while coupons can be adjusted down, the +UPs are not supposed to be modified! Don't know why since they're man. coupons, but that was part of the training.

      • kjmiller

No, you can't combine discounts to end up with a negative balance. Next time add another low value item into same transaction. And yes (!) you can use as many UP coupons as you want in one transaction.

    • Kim Goodman

Went to get schick razors, they are $8.99 and $9.99 and blades are $7.99 at Rite Aid in

      Statesville

      • Jessica

This sale doesn't start until tomorrow. (See the dates above)

    • Dvmeador

Rite Aid told me I could only use 1 coupon per item, is this true? I have a $7.00 Rite Aid, a $7.00 MFG Coupon and a $5.00 off $25.00 coupon and I want to use all of them on the Nicorett but if this is true then I can only use one of them.

Please someone let me know how this works

      Thanks

      • Islandboybpb

You can use all of them….tell them to get out their coupon policy….all stores should have just gone through the training….it is one manufacturer, one rite aid coupon (from the ad) and one from the video values for that specific product and then yes you can use the total purchase coupon.

        • Aminehdestin

I just watched all of my videos to be sure, and it does say in the fine print on the total purchase coupon that tobacco products are excluded, so no she couldn't use it on the Nicorette. I was 98% sure on that, because it's a store coupon, not a store/man. coupon (it starts w/48 so stores don't get paid back for it) and it's against federal law to discount tobacco and alcohol products without man. approval. I found that out when I got my alcohol permit when I worked at a restaurant. BTW based on the new outline coupon policy, most of the time you cannot stack an in-ad coupon, a man. coupon and a VV coupon anymore. It outlined that a customer can use ONE man coupon (which starts with the #5 or occasionally “9”), ONE Store/Man coupon (which start with the #s “49” and that is almost all of the in-ad and VV coupons now) and ONE strictly store coupon (which start with “48”). We all just got used to stacking the 3 so it's taking time for all stores to get used to refusing one of the RA coupons, but based on policy, if the in-ad and the VV coupons both start with “49” you can only use one.

      • grace

yes, you can use all three, ask for the manager if the cashier is not sure

      • Aminehdestin

You could use the 2 $7 coupons (as they can be stacked) but I think the total purchase coupons don't allow for tobacco if I'm not mistaken. Check the fine print on it to make sure, if it says not valid on tobacco, alcohol, lottery etc, it can't be used on the tobacco replacement either.

    • Katkoupon

Anyone else have trouble printing the RedPlum $5/$25? I have tried a few times over last few weeks, I keep getting this error message ” * Print Limit Reached: Hannaford. continue”. I click continue, but nothing prints. I did print 2 of these a couple of months ago, wonder if this has anything to do with it??? Thanks!

      • Yes, I think it hasn't reset in a while. I tried and got the same message, and I can't remember how long ago I printed that Q.

      • tarheelbaby1

Yep, same for me. I think it just means you've printed it in the past and they haven't reset it to allow for more prints.

      • Coupongal1

It will not print the coupon again unless you use a diffrent printer.

    • carolyn

Ia there any way to tell before purchasing what restrictons will be on the +UP coupons that are listed? Last week I got several that were very specific- $1 off any oral care purchase of $10 or more- Which is much defferent than the $ off any non prescription purchase ones that also printed.

      • grace

yes, the up rewards are not specific are advertised in the flyer, e.g this coming week, you get 1 UP reward when you buy Dove Wash, the other ones which are specific print for a certain time, like this past month has been the oral care and back to school items. Also the ones which are advertised can be more than 1 UP reward and at times you can be required to buy 2 or 3 of the same items to 'earn' it. They are all listed here under UP deals. Hope this helps

      • CJ

From what I can tell those are just extra coupons printing at the bottom of the receipts. They are different than the UP rewards which do not specify a minimum purchase. Hope this helps!

    • Mharwell01

“There are a few FREE deals this week and then a lot of good priced items. I know it is tough to spend money in a grocery store but sometimes you just need to be up for at least looking at the list.”

im missing the point. what does that mean?

      • toni

I think she meant spend money in a drugstore.

        • Coupons777

Yep. She is a very busy gal.

      • Aminehdestin

She meant “tough to spend money in a drug store” because 99% of the time her scenarios have you walking out with a VERY low out of pocket cost, but after rebates and +UP rewards you're either getting it all for free, or making money. :-) This week, there are really good deals, but it's a bit harder to make it out of the store without spending a little bit of money before it's all over with.

    • BluStarMom

Does anyone know the rain check policy for RiteAid? I went yesterday to my local store and they were out of the Boudreauxs Butt Paste, I actually had wanted three, one for home, one for diaper bag, and one for daycare as I truly need that many at this time. The cashier said the manager only allows a quantity of 2 on the rain check. Now as my name was not on the rain check, would it really be that wrong of me to go back today and ask for another one. I can't find a “rule” for the quantity and wonder if it is just the stores policy. A friend had to get one for Gain at her Rite Aid (accross town) and they did not give her a limit, she did agree if she went back in her store before the sale was over that she would grab another rain check for me, but I didn't want her to make special trip. Just curious if anyone else has run into this issue.

      • Aminehdestin

It's manager discretion. We limit to 2 rain checks 99% of the time. It gets irritating when some stores do the written rain checks and write them for 23 because 1st, even w/the rain check we can't give you all 23 we have on the shelf, and 2nd, we have to keep that rain check once it's redeemed so if we only have 3 we're getting a complaint that we wouldn't give the raincheck back to the customer. Now, if it's done the way it's supposed to be done, through the register on receipt paper, each one is good for one, so you can get one at a time no problem. But as for your question, you CAN go back and get another one or even another 2. It's just to prevent the multitudes of rain checks that some people want. I would've printed you 3, because that's not asking for too much. But technically, no there's no official policy for rain checks, it's just like limiting in sales, so it varies store to store.

      • Megan A.

I would get another rain check tonight. If you were actually going to buy that many, I don't see the problem with it. 3 seems reasonable to me.

    • Alyssa

For the Oral B Up Deal I am going to use the B1G1 Coupon that is out now. Jenny didn't list it but it should work… It would make for a good deal with the $0.75 off the first one and the UP…. Just wanted to let you know.

      • pfsinnh

Yes! The B1G1 is from RedPlum 8/15. I hear that when you buy 2 of the toothbrushes multiple UP's have been printing. So you spend $1.99 and get back $4.00. A $2.00 money maker! (Or $1.75 depending on which coupon you use. I believe there is a $1 q out there as well.)

      • Jenni

I did this deal yesterday to finish out my Oral Care rebate: Bought 6 toothbrushes at 2.99 each, used 3 BOGOF coupons, one $1/$10 oral care receipt coupon, and paid $8 OOP for them, got TWO Crest/Oral B $2 UPs, so that reduces me total cost to $4… BUT spending that $4 earned me the rest of the way to a $10 Oral Care rebate! So I MADE $6, and got 6 free toothbrushes, and they helped my total purchase amount get past $25 so that I could use a $5/$25.

All told, I got well over $100 of full retail products for FREE this week, plus a made somewhere between $1-$2. Yay!

    • Fallaya

Looks like RA is slowly phasing out the Single Check Rebate Program…the amount of Sept's SCR's are fewer compared to August. Any thoughts? I only shop at RA because of the SCR's…if they phase out the program, I'll just stick to CVS.

      • pfsinnh

I noticed that too. I don't know if they are for sure, but I don't care as long as they don't touch the $5/$25 video values. With those $/$$ coupons and my 20% off everyday, I can handle anything they throw my way and still get just about everything for free!

        • JessicaF83

I have yet to even get my 10% off coupon and I reached the needed points a while back. How did you get yours?

          • Jerry

Mine took several weeks to arrive, and by then, I had already reached 500 points and didn't need the coupons anymore.

          • pfsinnh

I know that some people got them in the mail, and that usually takes a couple of weeks at the most. But I believe some people are now getting them as a coupon printout on their receipts once they reach the points needed.

I would call customer service and tell them so they can mail that out to you.

            • Bmaiden

they now print on your receipts

          • Saeweardsmith

I got mine on the bottom of the receipt today!

      • RASM

I believe Rite Aid is going to make it (eventually) where the amount is added to your WellnessPlus card instead of sending you a check. Don't hold me to it, but I could have sworn I read this or heard this at work within the last month.

    • Ahensley01

the angel soft coupon requires you to purchase a 6-double roll or larger package, the sale is for the 4 pack (unless different by region?)

    • Michelle

I'm curious to hear whether anyone actually finds 5 of the Airwick Freshmatics at one store. I looked at my store today to scope it out for tomrorow, and they had only one of the Freshmatic compacts….none of the regular ones. :(

      • Aminehdestin

After the last 50% sale we had sold the last of the Air Wick MINIS the last day of the sale but actually had plenty of the regular size on the shelf and overstocked in the back. If we didn't get anymore in before this sale, I'd say my store probably has 15. We will see when I go in tomorrow night. I can guarantee that we'll have to limit and won't be able to allow 5 in one transaction like trx 3 recommends. But there's a pretty easy way to adjust with what's included in the spend $30 get $10 +UP sale. This is what I would do if you have the clip and save book:

        (2) Air Wick Freshmatics @ $6.49 each
        (1) Lysol Healthy Touch @ $6.99 (these may vary, if you can buy 3 freshmatics, go for it, or buy 3 and one of the Lysol and just cut the wipes below)
        (1) Lysol bathroom cleaner @ $2.50
        (2) Resolve @ $2.50
        (1) Lysol wipes @ $4.50
        Subtotal=$31.97
USE: $5/$25 VV, (1) $1 Freshmatic VV, (2) $4 Freshmatic man. coupons, (1) $1 Lysol No touch VV, (1) $3 Lysol no touch man. coupon,
(2)$1.50 Resolve printable, (1) $1 Lysol Bathroom cleaner (some of these have packs of coupons attached including a $1/1 Lysol wipes!),
(1)$1 Lysol wipes man. coupon (insert of from cleaner bottle if you can find one), (1) $1.50 Lysol Wipes 35ct RA clip & save coupon [if you have the book]
Total OOP $7.47 before using any +UPs, so if you do the first 2 transactions this makes it only $1 more.

I'm sure there are more ways to work that transaction w/out the 5 Freshmatics, that was just the quickest I came up with because I'm excited to have the $1.50 clip and save from letting the RX shoot me on Friday. I love the Lysol wipes. ;-)

        • Aminehdestin

Oh, do you know how happy I am to be going back to work full time after looking at what I just thought up? I have *never* had the time to come up with scenarios like this and I've worked at RA for 2.5 years. A little sad though, because I'm going to miss out on sales that I could take advantage of. :-P

          • Brooke

Why will you miss out on sales when you go back to work?

            • Aminehdestin

no time to think them all up.

        • Aminehdestin

ahh the Lysol wipes RA coupon is for the 35 ct and the sale is for the 80 ct. So, either do another pair of 2/$5 or add a Air Wick mini @4.99 making the subtotal $32.46 and use another $4 off Airwick coupon. makes it $6.46 OOP instead.

          • Michelle

Thanks for all of that hard work on the scenario! I went to another store today that had plenty of the Freshmatics, but I was hesitant to do the deal because I was afraid the $10 Up or whatever it is wouldn't print. I'm glad I didn't do it, now, because it looks like no one has had success with it.

I did another couple of transactions and did really well, though.

        • maubrey

what is your take on the whole missing 10 UPs deal? You seem to always have an answer…I did the $30 of airwick and did not get the $10 in UPs ( Like everyone else has posted ) Just wanted some of your thoughts on what might happen to those of us who didn't get them! Thanks

          • Aminehdestin

Corporate mess up. They aren't printing across the board right now, and no one can get anything done about it because it's Labor day weekend. I'd say that by Tuesday night they'll probably be printing as I'm sure reports have been filed left and right today. Everyone who's already done the deal, just call 1-800-riteaid and tell them your +UP didn't print, have the receipt ready to give them the transaction info and they'll mail you a $10 coupon. Takes a little longer, but they have longer expiration dates too. One of my co-workers and I decided I should email corporate with an idea that I have to fix the entire situation, so fingers crossed, common sense ideas are accepted.

    • Lorannclark

Does anyone know the RA policy for using the +up rewards. I had 2 +ups rewards, each for $1.00 that I wanted to use on 1 product (to save a total of $2.00). The cashier didn't want to scan both, she said that I could only use one. When I told her that I didn't want the product, she said “well, let me try and see if it works.” She scanned both of the +up reward receipts and they took. I can do this right? I know I can @ CVS. Thanks

      • Aminehdestin

As long as your total (before tax) is above the amount of +UPs you're wanting to use, it's fine. I think a lot of cashiers are hesitant because the coupon policy states that “one “49” coupon can be used per item” and technically those are “49” coupons, but they don't count as coupons towards the item being purchased. They are being paid back by the manufacturer of the item the produced the reward rather than what it's being redeemed for. Everyone will get the hang of it eventually….

    • Amy

I didn't see this listed above, so for those of you who missed out on the Garnier deal last week and still have coupons left over, the Garnier NutriPure and Moisture Rescue Skin Care products are on sale for $4.99. If you use the $2 Video Values q and the $2 manufacturer q from the 8/8 RP, it would be 99 cents. Not as good a deal as last week, but still a good deal considering they are $7.99 normally. I bought the Moisture Rescue moisturizer last week and LOVE it!

      • Sozzzz

The Garnier B$15G$5 in UP rewards in good for the whole month of Sept.

    • glammyyams

does anyone know if the $10.00 off your next purchase is given back to you in Ups?

      • lia.jean

I did the $10 off $30 deal this morning but UPs didn't print. After checking message boards, this seems to be a common problem. I filed a complaint with customer service but they are closed for the holiday weekend. So far this deal seems pretty unreliable.

      • Vwbug215

Not sure, the ad is confusing… I was assuming it would be $10 back in UP rewards, however when I went this morning and spent over $30 I did not receive the UP reward, the employees and assistant manager didn't know what to do but verified that I bought the correct items. They asked me to return later when the manager would be in. It's so time consuming when it doesn't work the way it should. Although i did get $79 dollars worth of product for $7… and however will get the $10 so it's worth it!

      • Lisaheidi

I just returned from RA. The store manager couldn't figure out how the $10 comes back because it isn't in UPs (he tried to ring up items without coupons and it didn't print). He was stumped and suggested I call corporate.

    • 3monkeysmom

Ugghhh!! I live in central AL and not only do we NOT get the Airwick 50% off, but that whole “spend $30, get $10 off next purchase” isn't in there either!! I hate getting the short ad!!

I know I've read that if you take them the “long” ad, they should honor the sale price, but the UPs still won't print, right?

      • Mandi

We live in the short ad area too and there were no ads or signs about the Air Wicks but mine rang up half price. :-) Of course, I didn't get my 10 UPs but I assumed it was an SCR. I can see now that it was not but that will get handled. You may try it anyway…

        • 3monkeysmom

Awesome!! Thanks for the heads up :-) I will swing by there one day this week and give it a shot.

        • Anonymous

Thanks again for the heads up!! I stopped by today and not only were they 50% off but I got the $10 UPs too!!!!

    • melissa

Does anybody know….the deal for $5 back wyb $20 of cleaning products at B1G1….the $20 is from teh sale price right? Do Rite Aid's B1G1's items come up half price or whole price with one free??

      • RELAWITHDIANE

they come off the whole price…1 would ring up 0.00 HTH

    • san

      My $10 didn't print :(

    • Linda

Ok I have a question. I spent $31.49 on Air wick products. not including tax . Tax was 2.05. I ended up only paying $2.45. I didn't received my $10.00 if you spent $30.00 on my UP's. What should I do? Call Corp. Head? The shift leader said it was because I used all those coupons? Why would that matter?

      • Susan

Couldn't be that you used coupons. When mine didn't print, either, the asst. manager decided to ring up 6 finish quantumatic kits (at 5.49 each) to get my rewards to print, and then I was going to return them all, since I already had paid for all the other $30 worth of stuff with coupons. Even the 6 dishwasher kits WITH NO COUPONS did not print the coupon. Obviously, there is a glitch in their system. Of course, I'm sure their corporate office will be closed tomorrow, but I will be calling Tuesday morning. Has anyone else had UPs mailed to them that they can share how that went? Like, do they have a quick expiration like the ones from the store?

        • Aferriola

I think it might be a gift check sent, my thoughts. No one could make heads or tails of it at my rite aid either.

          • Susan

According to printed Rite Aid corporate signage at my store (it was huge hanging things that hung below special end-caps of all the Air Wick stuff), it is to be $10 Ups that “print at the bottom of your receipt.” I know the ad was vague, but this sign was very clear. Oh, and they were not the yellow cheap signs that hang all over the place each week. They were nice, crisp, new signs, so I knew they came from corporate.

        • Linda

Thanks Susan! I will be calling somebody on Tuesday morning. The shift leader gave me his district office number so I will call on Tuesday!

        • Lori

I have had UPS mailed to me. It took a week or two to get here, but the expiration date was 6-8 weeks in the future. Planning on using them tomorrow, it will be interesting to see what happens. They have a RC48 number, I forget what the regular UPS use as numbers…

          • Aminehdestin

The mailed +Ups have “48” bar codes? If that's the case my argument that getting those is better for the store is invalid because those don't get paid back. The +Ups that do print on the other hand start with “49” and the statement “from the purchase of _________” is the man. paying the coupon price back. hmm. interesting, you'd think corporate would have something in place to not lose all that money since they aren't very good at programming for the +Up program yet. Obviously.

      • That's exactly what my cashier said after 30+ minutes of trying to add another, void and reconcile the coupons, ring up again, void again, call the manager, etc. I was really disgusted with them. Then since she had scanned my $2 UP rewards in that transaction, she told me I'd just lost those. I wasn't leaving without my $2 UP, so she had her underling manually enter them (after she told me “that's just the way it is”) on my next transaction. ugh! Thanks, Susan, and I'm glad you had a nice asst. manager. When i told my cashier I'd like her to ring them up again using no coupons just to see if the $10 UP would print, she said she couldn't do all that voiding!

    • DianaY19

My didn't print either. They told me it was because I used coupons too. What do we do?

      • Sam2sharon

I did not get my $10 either. The manager cut out the ad and sign and dated it for me to use as a $10 RA coupon when I go back next week.

    • SPA78

Holy cow, glad I read this before going out. I was about to go do the stock up deal…would be greatly disappointed if I did not get my $10.

    • glammyyams

i posted earlier this morning asking about how the $10.00 off $30.00 was going to be given back to us. I went early this morning and got my qualifying products and was originally short a few cents because the Airwick's I got were only $4.99 on sale. Then the manager returned those and I added a lysol spray and it put me over the $30 mark (with everything added back up). Both times the receipt did not have the Ups. So…because I figured it would be in the form of Ups and the manager was a bit perplexed too..I got a $10.00 gift card. I said I shop there a lot so I'd be back to spend the money, but now I am worried I did the wrong thing since no one really knows what form the $10.00 is coming back in. If anyone knows or hears anything please post. As tempting as it is not to do, I may just have to take the gift card back. Darn coupon etiquette!

      • Relaxwithdiane

i went this afternoon to get my qualifying products and mine didnt print either! i am waiting for a call back from the manager who is to return on tuesday, but they sign in the isle with the products does say clearly get $10 +UP reward back on a $30 purchase…so you are correct! not to worry you are not in the wrong at all!! (even though the paper doesnt specify how the reward would be given!

        • pfsinnh

All Rite Aid stores everywhere in the country are having problems with the $10 coupon not printing. It's not just us.

      • Blanecreations

okay.. had the same prob with the airwick deal.. it wasnt advertised the ad that i saw.. but they were marked 50% off so i went ahead and did the deal.. and was gonna use the $10 towards my next trans.. but nothing printed!! Can someone please clarify what is advertised.. just so i know when i call.. thank you!!

      • Susan

Read my posts several people down—I DID see a sign in the store today (very official, corporate signage)–that stated $10 UPs back when you bought $30 of the qualifying items. I am sure they said “UPs” because I double-checked. My $10 didn't print, either.

        • Susan

Oh, I have 2 comments below–it's the one in response to Aferriola.

      • Saeweardsmith

I went earlier too…mine did NOT print either! The manager actually checked me out…he did not know what it was suppose to be either…the paper was not specific. He said he was going to give me a gift card…really the same as UPS (in a way). So if that is what they chose to give to you then you didnt do anything wrong. Just my opinion!

      • Shereedee

Mine didn't print either. I wasn't going to back down and got the manager. She called the help line and then she decided to price adjust my next purchase (huggies diapers & BOGO right aid.) She was irrated that I wanted it rung up right first so I could use another $5/$25. But when all is said and done I paid $16.60 for the biotrue, 6 airmatics, diapers and right aid. The cashier even didn't scan my first $2 ups from the first transaction. I was going to go back and complain but hey I made out for only my second riteaid trip ever. Can't take this to serious

        • Aminehdestin

Technically in that situation, since your transaction would've been above $25 before coupons (since the +Up rewards are man. coupons) she should've allowed the coupon. Or since they're losing that $10 anyway (when they don't print, if they issue a GC which I still get scared about because of the fraud that could happen in store, or they just modify the next purchase down rather than scanning a coupon that gets paid back) she could've rang everything up normally, scanned your total purchase coupon and any other coupons, and then done a RA coupon manually for the $10 (that button means the store doesn't get paid back) and just put a note in with the coupons so when it was sent to corporate to be sorted before going to the wonderful clearing house, they would understand why that store was missing a coupon. Sorry you lost out a little, but at least you have the coupon for your next trip?

    • 30inmacon

So, I was in my favorite Rite Aid store today, and something happened that has not before. For the first time, I actually was checked out by the mgr of this particular store, and purchased the Crest and got back my 2 Ups. I used them on a second transaction, and he actually said to me “I'll do it this time, but that's supposed to be used on a later date”! I've done this many times at several Rite Aids, and no one has ever had any objections! It doesn't say anything about this in the coupon policy, or on the Ups themselves! Can he do this? Has this happened to anyone else?

      • Jenni

No, he is absolutely not correct about that. Help educate him and challenge him to find that assertion about UPs in writing somewhere (He won't).

        • pfsinnh

I definitely agree with you, Jenni.

      • RASM

I am not sure what store you were in, but we are not told to have someone use the coupon on a later date. I am a SM, and I have a lot of people turn around and use the coupons. I encourage it actually because then you will never lose/forget your coupon. Instant savings! :)

    • Robroy207

GREAT trip to Rite Aid today!! 2 transactions:

      #1

2 Special K cereals (BOGO on sale)

2 boxes Mr. Clean Erasers (2 $1 Qs)

1 box RA forks, 1 box RA spoons (BOGO on sale)

2 for $1 Kit Kat (pay for my son going)

      1 BioTrue (rang up 4.49)

      2 Oral B toothbrushes (BOGO Q used)

4 off 20 used and coupons listed above

      OOP after tax 13.83

      $ 8 UPs received

      Trans#2

      2 Oral B toothbrushes (BOGO Q used)

      OOP after tax 3.41

      $ 4 UPs received

      2

Total OOP $ 17.24 received back $12 UPs

So REALLY only paid $ 5.24 for all of this, I know I could have used other coups but left them at home accidentally. Not too bad….I LOVE RITE AID

    • Saeweardsmith

Even after a lot of confusion with this weeks ad…and items already gone that were in my plan…..I had a another GREAT trip to RA!!!

      Trx 1

      I started with 2.00 UP's this week!

      Biotrue 4.99

      Used 2.00 up's + 2.00 Q

      Paid 1.34 (w/tax) got back 4.00 up's

      Trx 2

      Lysol Spray 2 @ 4.50

      Lysol Pour 2 @ 2.50

      Lysol Hand Soap 2 @ 7.49

      Biotrue 4.99

      Lysol Toliet 1.74

      Used 7.00 in Q's+ 5 off 25 Q + 4.00 up from prev trx

      Total oop 20.97 (with tax)

Got back 4.00 up's and nothing printed for the Lysol sale..so he gave me a 10.00 gift card.

      Trx #3

      Huggies 19.99

      drink stick (filler item) .25

      Used 1.00 vv Q + 4 off 20 Q + 2.50 Q + 4.00 up + gift card for 10…used 9.58…42 left.

I was suppose to get back 2.00 up but they didnt print…I saw him scan my card but it didnt take..so he offered to give me 2.00 cash…poor guy..he was such a sport!

      So total OOP $22.31

      Left $2.42..cash and gift card

    • Amanda

The reason you did not get the $10 +Up is because you used the $5/$25. This happened to me last week. The Manager explained that since it is a store coupon that it brings your total below $30 (from the school supplies last week). If you use MQ then no problem and VV are Rite Aid MQ but the $5/$25 is actually a store coupon and that is why the +Ups are not printing.

      • Saeweardsmith

Hmmmm…I think that is kinda weird. A coupon is a coupon..it shouldn't matter if it is a store verses mq, no matter which you use..it is still going to take you below the $30. That stinks!

      • Aminehdestin

One of the stores in my district tried re-ringing with *no* coupons and it still didn't print. Corporate even seems lost on this one this week. We're prepared to tell customers that they'll have to call corporate and get the +UP mailed to them b/c we couldn't modify those transactions down $10 without going in the negative. Gift cards seem like the best option, but LP says no. What to do?

        • Amanda

Hmm..maybe the Manager was just guessing as to why it didn't print. He was really nice about it, though, and since I had another transaction he just took the $10 off that transaction which is what I was planning on doing anyways. So luckily for me it worked out.

      • Susan

NOT TRUE!!!! I had my items re-rung yesterday with NO coupons (total was $32.95 before tax), and reward still did not print!

    • Nita Royal

Is there any actual policy around use of the UP rewards? I had a couple that wouldn't scan last week, but there was a line behind me, so I just put them away for this week. When I tried to use them today, they rejected, saying “coupon previously used”! Obviously, I hadn't used them, but the store manager wasn't there, and the cashier said she was under orders not to take them.

Other question – On some items, I've been able to purchase items in different trips, and still get the UPs. But other items seem to work only once. Are they supposed to be limited to 1 time per customer? The ones that won't work for me may have been from deals that I did more than once.

      • Aminehdestin

The ad does state “one per household” but some seem to print multiples, and by some I mean most. We normally push through the rewards when they say they've been used because we keep them after you use them, so unless you grabbed it back after using it, you wouldn't have it if you'd already used it. Sometimes, there's a glitch in the system and a couple hours later that same reward that was rejected, will go through with no problem. There's no actual policy for what to do when that happens, but I think common sense says that it should be accepted.

      • Lori

I was noticing in the email ad that Rite Aid sent me, all the items in the ad were listed as “one per transaction”, and not “one per household” or “one per card”.

    • Stwingo

Went to my RA in SC yesterday. Everything was 50% off because the store is doing a reset. Made my first transaction. When the receipt printed, I expected to find a $2 +UP reward. None printed. When I asked about it they said they were not printing the +UP rewards any longer. There was not even a sales paper in the newspaper yesterday. They couldn't tell me if it was because of the reset or a new policy for that store. Very dissapointing!

      • Debko

Maybe this is one of the stores that's being converted to a Save-A-Lot. Does anyone know if these stores will still be considered RA's at all?

      • Megan

The one in Simpsonville, SC is converting…..was there today and yesterday to grab some deals with coupons. I think they are going to be a combined store for RA and SAL.

    • Michelleyoung117

What is the $128 coupons inside Rite Aid coupon booklet? I asked about it at my Rite Aid and they didn't know anything about it. I have just started shopping at Rite Aid so I may have missed it.

      • glammyyams

i think that booklet may be the one that some people are getting if you receive a flu shot in the pharmacy. But i think some people are getting it just for asking. There were two booklets out, so i think the clip and save is the one dealing with the flu shot. Maybe try calling some other stores in the area. :)

    • glammyyams

Ok so I was looking at some of the friday final comments and i saw one shopper's scenario and now have a few questions! This is from last week's ad-She got 8 of the pantene shampoo/conditioners and after all coupons and such, the register printed the 2 UPs per shampoo/conditioner purchase. Now…although our ads will give the deal and then at the bottom say Limit 1 or Limit 2, can we actually but many more? I think it's a great deal but will the UPs print everytime you buy extra? And are we supposed to adhere to the limits or just use them as a “guide” so we don't purchase too many? I know this is a long one, but any posts would greatly help. Thanks!

      • glammyyams

oops i had a mistake up there…it should be “can we actually buy many more?”

      • grace

yes, for some people it prints twice, if they buy two of the same items, for others it doesn't. I just make two transactions instead of putting them all in one and it has always printed

      • Aminehdestin

They put the limits in the ad because people were completely clearing the shelves rolling the +Ups in to the next transactions of the same things. They just never actually put the limits in the system it seems. Most of the rewards seem to allow multiples, but not all of them. So if you buy extra and it doesn't print all of them, the fact that it says “limit 1” would prevent you from getting CS or the store to give you credit for the ones that didn't print. Best idea, is check here, and see if anyone's done it and whether multiples are printing. At iheartriteaid, Erica is pretty good at putting “limit at least “_” on her purchases based on what her readers have done. Even if it's going to print every time, I suggest limiting yourself, because that's what started the limits to begin with. If everyone goes back to clearing the stores out right away, the company will limit to 1-2. I say like our DM said on ad coupons that state “one per customer” just use a common sense limit. Even if you do 2-3 deals at one store then go to another, or go back Saturday night so that you know the deal is done and you aren't going to have that store getting complaints all week, at least if the same thing isn't going on sale the following week since most stores are on every 2 week deliveries.

    • Megan

The Simpsonville, SC Rite Aide store is converting to a Save-a-lot later this month. At least half of the store is 50% off. Great deals to be found with coupons. Got 5 things of sunscreen for $14 with my $5 off $25 and store/MF coupons.

Also got some baby items, razors, makeup for almost nothing with my $5 off $25 and other coupons as well.

    • amanda c

I went to RA yesterday and tried to get the Crest Pro Health deal twice. First time it rang up on sale and I did get my +up rewards, the next transaction it rang up the sale price ($2.49) but would not print my +up rewards. I've seen talk on here about it printing out more than once (even if the ad says limit of 1, etc.) but that wasn't the case with my card yesterday. Anyone have any thoughts? The cashier said if it says limit 1, etc it won't do it, but it sounds like some of you have different experiences.

      • Kc 2364

did you do two different transactions completely?

    • Alyssa

      Great Trip to RiteAid!!!!!!!!!

      1 Transaction & 2 (did it twice)

2 Oral B Tooth Brushes Cross Action

      used – 1 B1G1 Q and a .75 off MQ

      TOTAL 2.64 used $2 UP paid .64

      3rd Transaction

      1 crest toothpaste

Used .75 MQ and 2.00 UP

      Total Due .25

      Total for products: 15.00

      Total Out of Pocket $1.53

and I have 4.00UP still remaining

(but the last one didn't print for the toothpaste, but on the first transaction it printed (2) 2.00 UPs and the cashier said she thought maybe it was because I reached the limit that it didn't print on the last one)

    • Sozzzz

I just got off the phone with 1800riteaid about the $10 off $30 deal. They are sending me my $10. It was supposed to be an UP reward.

    • Blanecreations

k.. talked to riteaid and they say that they've programed everyone's card so that when you make your next purchase the $10 up rewards (from the buy $30 get $10 deal) should print automatically.. but if it doesn't or you dont go to rite aid before the end of this week to call them at 1800riteaid and they'll take down your info and send you it in the mail.

      • Jenni

Yeah, I had a large enough 2nd purchase right after I did my Freshmatics deal that it should have printed it if this was the case, but it didn't. I called corporate and they are going to mail it to me. I'm keeping the faith that they will continue to work out all of these kinks so that eventually everything runs smoothly. Sounds like this really got surprised by this one.

    • Jenni

Okay, I just got off the phone with a corporate representative about the $10 off of $30 of select products deal (in my case, the AirWick Freshmatics). This WAS supposed to be an UPs reward, however, it doesn't appear to be printing for anyone. They apologized, confirmed that it had nothing to do with my using coupons, and said that they would mail me a $10 UPs reward with a longer expiration date (he said the expiration date should be end of October/maybe November) and that I should receive it within 2-3 weeks.

Hate the lag time on getting them, but glad they fixed those super short expiration dates from ones I've received in the past.

So this is what I bought:
7 AirWick Freshmatic Compact i motions at 4.99 each (50% off retail price)
Used 7 – $4.00 coupons for the exact item (SS 8/08 or 8/29)
Used 1 – $1 off select AirWick Products VV coupon
Used $5/$25 VV pharmacy video coupon

      Paid 2.43 OOP (mostly tax)
Will get $10 UPs reward via mailed UPs from corporate
      MADE $7.57!

I plan to donate several to my church for the bathrooms, for which these are perfect, and keep some for our family. (And since I avoid clearing shelves whenever possible, I was so happy that there was exactly 7 more left for someone else to do the same deal!)

    • pfsinnh

If anyone needs some inexpensive or free (with 20% wellness discount) Claritin, you can do this scenario:

      (1) Claritin Redi-tabs 30 ct. $23.99 or $19.19 with 20% off
      (2) Biotrues @ $4.99 each or $3.99 with 20% off
      =$27.17

      Use:
      $5/$25
      $5 in-ad Claritin
      $5 MQ 8/29SS
      (2) $2 Biotrue coupons
      =$8.17 OOP
Get back $10 in UP's ($8 for Biotrues and $2 for the Claritin)

Thank you ednred from slick deals!

      • Susan

Is the Biotrue printing more than once?

        • Tracy

Yes! I bought two in one transaction and got two UP rewards for it.

    • meme

About the Kimberly Clark rebate. I saw a post by the Rite Aid employee (maybe a week ago?) and it stated more Huggies diapers were being included in the rebate. Were any of them to be the Jumbo size Huggies? I seldom buy Huggies but I went ahead and got those for my grandson. When I realized I didn't qualify for the rebate I emailed for an explanation. I was told the jumbo size didn't qualify. Seeing the post made me wonder if the jumbo size were being included now but my rebate status hasn't changed. I need to know if I should send another email or just count my loses. Thanks for a reply.

      • Ashley

That's what the employee said, but as of 1 second ago, my Huggies jumbo packs have still not updated as counting for the rebate. I see they did update a Scott single roll tissue as qualifying but nope no Huggies, and I've been checking it ever since that employee said that.

      • Aminehdestin

It was me. From what I read they said the ones pictured would be added. I think I tossed my book so I can't check it, but I know it had the Pull Ups in the picture so those would be included. If you guys bought something that was pictured and it didn't update, call the rebate office. I'd skip the email, it's too impersonal. Hearing a voice asking the question may help them to realize what you're talking about.

        • meme

Thank you for the suggestion to call Rite Aid. The customer service Rep told me the Huggies Jumbo Pack did not qualify for the Aug #10 rebate, but that she was going to adjust my rebates and include it. Wonderful service and disposition. Kudo's to Rite Aid. For others with similar purchases it is worth the phone call. ASHLEY, hope this helps you, too.

    • Jodielynn23

I am just going to complain a little. Everybody keeps saying they just love RiteAid, and it's beginning to take the place of CVS. I have tried RiteAid for a few weeks now, and every time I've gone, I've had problems with my UP+ rewards printing. I've gotten to where I check the comments on here before I go get a “deal” to see how much trouble everyone is having with it. It seems to me that everyone is constantly frustrated because their UP+ rewards didn't print out the way they should have, or some other problem occurred. My biggest gripe about the whole thing is, I hate wasting the time it takes to talk to the manager and stand around forever while he tries to figure out what to do. I never have these problems with CVS, and my time and stress level is more important than trying to get a deal at RiteAid that I can get in about two weeks from CVS. I don't know if anyone feels the same or even cares, but I for one do not like RiteAid!

      • DonnaTN

If you call customer service about your UP rewards not printing they will send them to you. Takes a little longer but they have really great customer service for the Wellness dept.

      • Christy

I feel the same way. I did Rite Aid last week, but really like you said it's so much more work and so much more frustrating!

      • pfsinnh

I agree with you somewhat. I don't think Rite Aid is going to take the place of CVS right at the moment. CVS has impeccable customer service and their ECB system is seamless and simple. Rite Aid has a lot of moving parts to it and their Wellness Plus program is now just starting to catch on.

But…I will tell you what I like about Rite Aid that CVS currently doesn't have. It is the Video Values store coupons you can stack with manufacturers coupons and the ability to print off a $5/$25 coupon whenever you want.

It makes it so much easier to plan a scenario when you know that $5/$25 is in your hand no matter what. If CVS had a print-on-demand feature for their $/$$ coupons you'd better believe I'd shop CVS a lot more often!

        • Questioning the ethics…

I'm a little confused about “the ability to print off a $5/$25 coupon whenever you want”…. The video values Q's print out once per month, the Red Plum meets it's print limit for twice per computer… not sure what other Q you are referring to??? And, if this is the PDF one from awhile back (if I”m correct about this being a PDF Q), shouldn't you only be using it once?

          • Aminehdestin

There are normally 3 VV total purchase coupons each month. Then if Red Plum has theirs up that's two more, so 5 a month isn't bad. :-) The VV though, you earn a $4/$20 for earning 20 credits now, then you can watch a Wellness video and get a $5/$25 and a RX video for a $5/$25. So they can absolutely help bring your OOP down.

          • pfsinnh

Yes, that's correct. You can get (1) $4/$20,and (2)$5/$25 from the Video Values once per month and 2 more $5/$25 per computer from Red Plum. The PDF from this summer expired weeks ago, so they cannot be used at all at this point.

But to answer your concern…this is why it is ETHICAL to print on demand…

Rite Aid does NOT “make” any money or get reimbursed for these $/$$ coupons, but “giving” these coupons to us at the start of each month (as opposed to making us wait for them at a kiosk, or hoping to get one in your email, as CVS does)is sheer genius.

When you see a couponing scenario almost 100% of these scenarios are built around the $5/$25 coupon. So the company knows whenever a couponer goes into the store, at least $25 or more will be “spent” per transaction.

Before couponing came into my life, I think I went into Rite Aid maybe twice per year (after I finished working for the company), but since I started clipping coupons, I go to Rite Aid twice per week.

So think about it for a minute…I went from going into Rite Aid twice a year and spending maybe $20, to going there twice a week and “spending” $25 or more each time I go!

The $5/$25 coupon is a “loss”, but all the other coupons we bring into the store is treated the same as cash money. So for all you folks out there who get guff from these Rite Aid employees that make you feel bad for “stealing” products with coupons…you let them know that each and every one of these coupons go through a clearinghouse and the company gets PAID EVERY RED CENT WE CLIP FOR THEM!

Think of the monthly sales volume we bring in for Rite Aid just based on the $5/$25 coupon. Don't ever feel bad for using these.

Now with CVS, you may have a scenario that calls for a $5/$25 to make the deal work, but not everyone has access to one of those coupons. Before last Saturday, I didn't get one of those coupons at the magic kiosk since June.

Sorry to be so long-winded and I hope I didn't bore anybody! ;)

            • Questioning the ethics…

ahhh, yes, that makes more sense now… what you meant was you could print the 3 or 5 that you have, whenever you chose, and could decide how to use your Q’s vs. being at the whim of the stores’ sending you the Q’s…. thank you for clarifying. Yes, I agree, Rite Aid has now successfully gotten ahold of my former Walmart business. Now there is virtually no need to visit that place anymore ;)

            • pfsinnh

Yeah, I agree. I wish more people would catch on to the couponing. Whenever I see someone shopping for shampoo or deodorant at Walmart, I have to hold myself back from telling them I just bought the same stuff for 33 cents a piece at Rite Aid! :)

On another note, I DO hope that CVS will get rid of that stupid kiosk(what a waste of paper) and just go with their own version of Video Values so we can have the 5/25’s whenever we want. I would probably go there more often if they did!

      • Aminehdestin

Okay, speaking directly as a customer rather than a RA employee, I've never understood CVS. It may be because the stores around me have terrible customer service and I've just never cared to try, but I just don't care for the store. I don't mind Walgreens though, but will never, EVER, go back to their pharmacy. I have a bed-ridden mother on pain meds to just get up in the morning to make coffee, and they look at her like a drug addict. That's a way to infuriate me. Sorry for the tangent it just crossed my mind and made me mad, again.
Now, to put on my employee hat, Rite Aid can be done very effortlessly if you get the hang of it. +Ups are a bit of a problem right now because it seems like they can't program them in to the system right. I say that if you wait until Tuesday to do your shopping, they're normally fixed though. That's how it's seemed at my store anyway. I say in about a month, if they haven't fixed the systems for +Ups, something is wrong with the program at that point and it's more trouble than good. I'm not sure if I say that as an employee or a customer…

    • Jenni

I did 2 transactions this week. The AirWick Freshmatics was one, and then this one:

      BOUGHT
4 – Super Stack Pringles cans, 1.50 each (not sure of reg. price)
4 – Summer’s Eve products, BOGOF sale (reg 4.49 each)
6 – Oral-B Cross Action manual toothbrushes, 2.99 each (sale price)
1 – Rite Aid Athlete’s Foot spray, 6.49 (full price)

      Retail total: $40.11 (including tax)

      USED
$5/$25 purchase VV wellness+ video coupon
$1/$10 Oral Care purchase (wellness+ receipt coupon)
      1 – $1/4 Super Stacks Pringles (PG 8/29)
      2 – $2/2 Summer’s Eve products (printable Smartsource.com coup)
      3 – BOGOF Oral-B manual toothbrushes (Red Plum 8/15)
1 – 10% off general merchandise shopping pass (earned via wellness+ program. It only applied to the Rite Aid Athlete’s Foot spray)

$7 worth of UPs from previous week (most of which was profit)

Out Of Pocket (OOP) Cost: $13.14

MADE: $6 in UPs from the Pringles and Oral-B toothbrushes printed on the end of my receipt, plus the toothbrushes finished out my Oral Care Gift Card rebate of $10

Plus, I paid the OOP costs with Rite Aid gift cards earned from the Skin Care Gift Card Rebate, which was pure profit! So no cash out of pocket, I made $2.86 and I got everything for free!

    • Angelamdelauney

all the PG coupons you listed to use are expired as of 8-31-10???????

      • Angelamdelauney

NM maybe I missed the last PG add not sure the date in this one :(

      • Dharvn

new p&g coupons came out 8/29.

    • New2Qs

Let me just say, WOW….just met the most unfriendly cashier at Rite Aid! She couldn't fathom the idea that I could pay 1.46 for $32 worth of product AND get $10 back. She said “They won't let you do that. You can't get back more than you pay.” OK, really?? She basically implied that I was stealing! Of course I didn't even think to ask for the mananger…..maybe it was because my toddler was over it and crying her head off because I stood there for 5 minutes trying to get a straight answer about the deal. I called Customer Service and they are sending me the $10 in the mail. They will also be “educating” this particular store on the coupon policy. Never been so embarrassed in my life. I'm new to couponing so I'm still learning, but geez!

      • Jenni

Good for you for calling corporate! They really do want their cashiers to be educated on this, but sometimes it takes a negative experience to get them to get with it!

      • Deanna

I just called rite aid after see everyones comments and they told me that it had to be after coupons that the total was 30 dollars. They said I could go back and spend more and add it to my other total and if it adds up to 30 dollars then they would issue me the reward. How did you get so lucky, lol..I said that all your other offers are before coupons, why not this one. She was super nice but she explained that they are working out the wrinkles and that eventually everything will be like that, let's hope not. I think they will loose some business if they do that. Well, I guess I tried but no luck for me.

        • pfsinnh

Hi Deanna. Rite Aid wants it to be known that the information you have shared is incorrect.

The $10 coupon that should be printing out is not printing out because of a glitch in the computer system. It is NOT because anyone should be spending $30 after the coupons have been factored in.

If anyone on this site is still having trouble with the coupon printing out, please call 1-800-RITE-AID. Rite Aid is also not working on making sure all future deals like this are “after coupons” deals.

          • Deanna

            pfsinnh,

Bingo, I called back and they are sending me the reward. I explained to the new customer service person that I called earlier and was told something totally different. She was super nice and we both agreed maybe I didn't get ahold of the right department..lol. I guess it pays to doouble check. Thanks again!

            • pfsinnh

That's good news. I'm glad you'll be getting that $10 back. I too wish that everyone in the company would get on the same page. :)

          • Jenni

Do you have an “inside source” on this? Just curious, since it -appears- that people are being told different things when calling corporate.

            • pfsinnh

Yes and no! I used to work for Rite Aid. Which is weird because I used to hate 'em when I worked for them. Now that I'm strictly a consumer, I love them! :)

The problem with the $10 coupon should be fixed now. I think the reason behind the multiple responses from corporate is because of a lack of communication…and I also believe that some people are relying on what the store managers are saying, and sometimes that information can be false.

Rite Aid knows how important the couponing community is to them. Making shoppers pay $30 AFTER coupons would make couponers angry. So for future reference all Buy $$ Get $$ deals mean exactly that, unless specified in the ad.

            • Aminehdestin

Thank you. I felt bad not getting on at all yesterday to see if any issues had come up or been fixed since I was off, but 5.5 weeks of leave kind of beat me on my first day back, Sunday. I appreciate you helping to inform everyone. You're absolutely right, the rewards are printing fine now with coupons. We were told it was an error in the system Sunday, but the wording to me sound like it wasn't in at all. I do wish CS would stop giving different answers. It's always confuses me when they do that.

            • pfsinnh

Welcome back! :) We missed you for a day. Did you have a nice Labor Day weekend?

            • Aminehdestin

I did, thank you. I spent my Labor Day doing what I should've been doing on leave, I curled up in bed with fresh fruit and the Lifetime Movie Network. I haven't done that since I was 16, so it was fantastic. :-) Hope everyone else got some relaxing in over the holiday as well.

        • Deanna

Hi pfsinnh, thanks for the information you gave me, I guess I will try again but that was exactly what the lady on the phone told me. I am fairly new to couponing so they probably could tell me anything. She was very nice and seemed to know what she was talking about so I took her for her word. The 10 dollars isn't that big of a deal since I still did get a great value but of course it's always nice to get an even better deal. Thanks again. I'll let everyone know how my next phone call goes.

          • pfsinnh

I know. Sorry if my words below came across as being negative. It wasn't intended to be! :)

      • Amber

I don't know where you are at but that sounds like a cashier I have dealt with many of times!

    • AmyD

I'm really irritated at some of these situations us as customers have to go thru to save money. These employees at any of these stores need to learn their own policies. I mean that's what they get paid to do right? It's sad when customers know more about it than employees do. Thank you to the ones that actually “work” at their job and shame on the ones who just show up for a pay check. Sorry to rant but I had to get that out. Just irratating.

    • Leigh

I went shopping on 8/31 and put my receipts in for the SCRs on 9/1. They still haven't updated. What is the longest it has taken for any of you?

      • Jenni

        6 days.

        • Jenni

And don't forget about Labor Day. Likely, whoever processes these had the day off.

      • I have learned that if I wait a few days to enter my receipts, they process immediately. I just entered receipts from 9/4 and they processed when the page refreshed. You entered your receipts a week ago. Have you received any emails from them? If not, then I think I would try re-entering, just in case I entered something incorrectly. If it was entered correctly the first time, you'll get a message on your screen saying it has already been entered and is being processed. If it was entered incorrectly, they will now have the correct information. I have one from last week that is still showing that it hasn't been processed, but I think that is because I did not have any SCR items on it..

        • Susan

Mine usually go through in 2 days but are still hanging from 9/1….and I know I bought a rebate item (the Bufferin.) SOOO, it must be their system!

        • Leigh

It finally went through today. And no they didn't send me an email I just went and checked the status again. This was my first time shopping at Rite-Aid…so I wasn't sure how long it was going to be. And I was shocked to find out I get a $5 gift card for buying oral care products. I wasn't aware of that one. :)

          • Leigh

Also, it says submit your receipts by 10/25/10…if I plan to do more shopping, is that also the date, I need to wait to ask for the check?????

            • Yes, you need to wait. You can only request one check per month. After the month's deals are over(September 26) and all of your receipts have been processed, then request your check. Also, If I were you I would wait until the end of the month to request my oral care gift card because if you spend a total of $25 before Sept. 25, you will get a $10 gift card.

            • Leigh

Thanks! I was just a lil confused cause on the SCr site it said submit by 10/25/10 which confused me cause I thought it was the end of each month. Thank you again!

            • You're welcome. You'll love Rite Aid, if you shop a good store. The one I shop loves couponers and work to keep us happy. This year, I have made more than I've spent there through rebates, gift cards, and certificates.

            • Leigh

My first trip, a manager actually ringed me up. So, I'm hoping that my next trip will be just as pleasant. We will see. I got the short ad, so I don't think i will be going this week. I haven't 100% decided yet. :/

            • Aminehdestin

Each month ends on a random date, never the last day. It's basically every 4 weeks. That's the day that you'll need to make sure you've at least watched all of the Video Values for the month because on at midnight, they'll change over. You can print them all the following “month” then at midnight at the end of that cycle they fade in your queue and say expired so that you know what you printed and what you didn't.

            • Leigh

So, are you saying…I can watch all the VVs by that day and wait to print them or I need to print them by that day also?

            • Aminehdestin

This months if you watch them all on the 25th, you'll have all of next month to print them out. You only have to watch the videos by the end of the month that they come out, after that, the coupon will be in your queue until the day they expire (which is the end of the following month). That way, if you don't end up needing them, you don't waste your ink printing them.

            • Leigh

Thanks! I wondered that before but didn't think to ask it. I was just watchinf videos of items I would buy and printing them. Thanks again!

    • Linda

Just spoke to corp and they are going to send me my $10.00 in the mail. She said it would be 2 coupons of $5.00. She also said they are resetting the system, it may print out on my next trip to RA. She said if it does then, I'll have a bonus!

      • Kathleen

I just got off the phone with customer services, and she said they aren't mailing out the coupons. that it will take aprox. two weeks to process and then when i shop at rite aid, it will print on the bottom of my reciept. I confirmed: So i have to wait two weeks and then make another purchase and hope it has been long enough and will print at the bottom of my reicept. 'yes”. then what if it doesn't print, what do I do then? “call us back and we will have to look into it”..???? Last week the Garnier didn't print even thought I had bought an extra shampoo just to make sure it was over the amount. when i called customer service he said they would be sending mine out, now I am told it will print on my reciept in a few weeks? Anyone else get this info. when they called?

        • Val

I'd call again– I haven't heard that at all.

        • New2Qs

I didn't get that answer. The cs guy just asked for my name, address, and store # and he'd mail me the $10. Who knows at this point what really will happen. I tried the deal this morning and had issues (mostly with the cashier not believing me that I qualified for the deal!!). Even if I don't ever get the $10, I still got a great deal.

      • akellyinva

My CS guy said “and the UP rewards didn't print” as I'm explaining the situation. ugh. A not-overly-nice CS on top of the cashier Sunday. I told him I returned mine, but because I did I lost the $2 UP plus my $5/$25 that I'd used. I told him I didn't want the $10, I wanted my $5/$25. He said once an UP or $5/$25 has been scanned it can't be used ever again, return or no. He said don't return the stuff next time but to call CS and they'd mail the UP. Then he said he'd mail the $10 plus $10 more for the fiasco. I asked if they could call the store and explain the error was in the system (so the cashier doesn't have an attack when I walk in the door next week…and worth more to me than those UP rewards he's mailing), he said he'd make a note of that, didn't even ask which store it was. Oh, well. Everything can't be perfect, can it?!

        • akellyinva

Just to let anyone know that my coupons arrived in today’s mail. Record time!

    • DianaY19

So has anyone tried to go by Rite Aid and do the Airwick deal since they “fixed” it? Would love to know if it worked. When I tried it on Sunday and it didn't work, I had them do a full refund. Would still like to get the deal but don't want to waste time going in there and it not working again…especially since it took 20 mins to have them figure out how to refund with all the coupons, etc.

      • 3monkeysmom

It printed for me today :-)

      • Sarah

it printed for me today too!

      • Aminehdestin

It was completely fixed [apparently] yesterday. Worked fine all day today. ;-)

    • Dharvn

      i did a transaction similar to jenny's:

      (2) Airwick Freshmatics $6.49 (50% off $12.99)

      (1) Lysol Freshmatic $6.49 (50% off $12.99)

      (3) Airwick i-motion mini compact $4.99 (50% off $9.99)

      -$5 off $25 purchase printable

      (2) -$4 off Airwick Freshmatic

      (1) -$4 off Lysol freshmatic

      (3) -$4 off Airwick compact

-$1 off Airwick Rite Aid Coupon printable

      (2) -$2 +UP from oral b purchases yesterday.

the balance was around $2, i used my rite aid gift card.

      • Dharvn

        and i received $10 +ups

    • Val

Has anyone done the Gerber BOGO with the SCR and the VV? Trying to figure out scenarios in my head, but the sun I got from Labor day weekend has fried my brain…..

    • tupperwaretera

have to brag just a little – total spent today- $19.74 – $12 in coupons back and rebates coming = $7.74/18 items = $0.43 each on average and $90.86 in savings!!

    • Couponkat

Went to Rite Aid. Paid $6.05 received (1) Finish Quantumatic Starter kit sale $5.49 (3) Neutraair Freshmatic Kits Sale $6.49 and (1) Air wick motion kit sale $6.99. Used $27.00 in coupons and receive $10 in up rewards. Then I paid $4.21 for (4) Pringles $1.50ea, (2) Dawn 24oz dish wash soap sale $3.00ea., (1) Dove Shampoo and conditioner $3.00ea, (1) Biotrue contact $4.49, and (2) Right Guard Powerstick 2.6oz B1G1 =$4.49. Used $10up and $23.50 coupons. THEN got $10 more in up rewards. Going back tomorrow for more damage! If anyone wants help with this these transactions, let me know and I will try and answer your questions.

      • pfsinnh

        SWEET!

    • Fallaya

I have a question: a couple of weeks ago, I did the Huggies deal (buy @ $8.99, get $2 +UP's_. Well, I did the deal twice, in two different transactions. I tried to use them both at the same time yesterday, but the second $2 +Up coupon beeped “duplicate copy”. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean that even though you can get more than one +Up rewards on certain products, you can only use the reward ONCE?

      • Aminehdestin

I haven't had the issue at all in my store at all this week. I had someone pay tonight using 2 of the same +UP rewards and they went through fine. I've mentioned before though, that on any given Sunday (literally) weird things happen with rewards. One week, I opened on Sunday and every single one I scanned beeped and said “expired” and not a single one was. The other woman I worked with that day got one and then tried to use it because she forgot milk and it beeped “expired”. *It JUST printed!* The problems aren't normally fixed until Monday when stuff like that happens, but this Monday was Labor day, so if that's when you went, it may have just been one of those glitches.

    • Starr

What are your honest opinions about printing the $5/$25 q or any q's using a different zip code than what you are in? I'm having a hard time justifying it when I know it was meant for that area. Thanks for your thoughts in advance!

      • Dharvn

the real question is “why is the coupon only available for certain zip codes?”

shouldn't it be available to all?

      • Aminehdestin

I don't do it, but that may just be because I don't think that much about it. I don't understand why sites like Red Plum put them out for some area codes and not others. Or why the company doesn't. I don't know who's idea it is to do those. I think it's just going to be a personal choice. I don't think it's actually “wrong” but if it makes you feel iffy, don't do it. $5 isn't worth the integrity that you build for yourself.

      • Coupongal1

Guess I would have to have multiple computers and printers to do this because if you entered a different zip code it still would not print if you have already printed the 2 $5 off coupons off the same printer.

I don't think there is anything wronge wih this – I just don't have the time nor the means to do this.

    • Just learning coupons

Is there a limit on the oral b toothbrushes for the $2 +up? In other words, I have a b1g1 coupon and was wondering when I bought these 2, if I would get $4 +up, or will it still just be $2?

      • pfsinnh

I did the BOGO on the Oral-B and 2 sets of UP's were on my receipt.

      • Robroy207

I actually purchased 4 oral b toothbrushes (2 in two different transactions using the BOGO coupon) and received $2 UP for each. Total of $8 UPs. My cashier was nice enough to point it out that if I did it in 2 transactions instead of one it would print again!

      • Just learning coupons

Great! Can't wait to get to the store for this! Thanks :)

    • val

Can someone tell me if the “Buy $30 get $10 Up Deal” is listed in the short ad? My Sunday paper wasn't delivered and when I look at the ad on riteaid's website, page 6 talks about their automated refill program– so weird that they do that! Thank you :)

      • Gingiraffe

I don't see it in the short ad, but I have learned that sometimes they will print even if they aren't in the ad. Last week the +2 UP for the purchase of 4 12 pks of Cokes weren't in the short ad, but I got it anyway.

      • Couponing4myfamily

This was not listed in my area either, but I did it last night and it printed without a hitch! :)

    • Spowers_8501

I have a b1g1 coupon in SS for Right guard. With the b1g1 at the store wont that make it free?

      • Aminehdestin

Yes, you'd just have to pay tax.

      • MissyB

I remember getting that coupon too. But I can't remember which week it was. Can anyone help???

        • Spowers_8501

Im pretty sure it was a SS…. early August. And it was a full page ad with coupon at the top (Im new to SS so it cant be older than August :)

Oh, and I went to two different RA's today and both had NO Airwick products…sold out! Have to wait until Friday when the new truckload comes in.

        • DonnaTN

          Those expired 8/31.

      • Susan

        Mine expired 8/31.

    • Pam

I can't receive my confirmation email so I can print my RA video coupon! Any suggestions. Thanks. Pam

      • DonnaTN

Check your spam. They should of sent you an authorization code in order to print those if you are just signing up.

    • Hasfam

None of my P&G 8/29 inserts have $1.00 Qs for Crest. All are $.75 cents. Anyone else have lower valued Q's in their inserts?

      • Leigh

All of mine for Crest were 75 cents also.

        • couponkat

          Me too.

          • jenannmom

            me too. ;(

            • Dharvn

              me too.

    • Jcoulter1181

Am I the only one having trouble understanding Transaction 3?? I tried this today and here's how it worked out:

      (5) Airwick Freshmatics $6.49 apiece after discount

      Total = $32.45

      used 5 of $25 coupon, $1 airwick rite aid coupon, $4+UP total = $22.45 not $2.45.

The (5) -$4 off Airwick Freshmatic showing in Transaction 3 was already taken into account when they ring up at $6.49. I was a bit PO'd when I got to the register and ended up having to pay $20 more out of pocket than I thought. Guess next time I need to do the math myself, but Jenny you might want to update Transaction 3.

      • grace

They are on sale for half off which is $6.49 minus $4.00 Q = 2.49 each
        $6.49 x 5= 32.45
        MQ4.00 x5= -20.00
        SQ$5/25 = – 5.00
        SQ $1 = -1.00
        = $6.00 out of pocket
This is what I did and I used a $2 up reward on top of that bascially I paid the tax and that is it.

      • Jcoulter1181

But if you look at Transaction 3 she has listed:

        5) Ariwick Freshmatics $6.49 (50% off $12.99)

So they are originally $12.99. I did not see any Airwick products that were $6.49 before the discount. Nevermind I just realized the -$4 off airwick was another coupon she had. Just found it. Dummy me. Guess I will be going back to Rite Aid tomorrow to try it again lol.

        • Dharvn

$6.49 is the store Sale price before any coupons are even used. Like you said you are new to couponing, so it may take a while for you to figure it all out.

      • Cindyrella

Actually, the (5) $4 off Airwick Freshmatic is NOT taken into account when they ring up at the register, but are manufacturer coupons from either the 8/08 or 8/29 SS insert. She has a link to a printable coupon as well if you scroll up to the item listing. To do the deal as she said, you needed 1 manufacturer coupon for each item, which would have saved you an additional $20. HTH

        • Jcoulter1181

Thanks I figured it out now! I'm new to this whole couponing thing hopefully I'll figure it out soon! : )

    • kcreviews

I saw Glade candles today on clearance (sorry don't remember the price, but I think it was at least 50% off) but I didn't have the coupons with me! Hope someone can find a deal. This was in Wilmington, NC.

    • Mel

I just spoke with Rite Aid Corp and they are mailing my $10 coupon for buying the Airwick. I still got a good deal on them without it, but it does make my day to get it!

    • Bjtidwell

I don't see a $4 coupon for airwick Freshmatic starter kit, only a $2 one.

    • Deb

Airwick is showing up at $4.99 in Georgia.., with 50% of..I bought 5 airwicks and 1 Lysol.

used 5/$4. off's and $1.off Lysol. It spit out the $10 bucks Up Reward for me.

      • Aminehdestin

The minis are $4.99 at half off, the big ones are the ones in Jenny's scenario and much easier to find. We only have 2 of the small ones left and about 35 of the big ones which are $6.49

    • Esha

Hi – Could you tell me what is a good price for Tide detergent? Is the following a good deal:

      Buy 2 Tide @ 10.99

      Use 4/20 riteaid coupon

      use $2 MQ

      use $1.5 MQ

which makes it 7.24 each. would this be considered a good price for stocking up?

      Please advise.

      Thanx much :)

      • Pfsinnh

I think that $7.24 is a decent price. It's not the best price (the best price is free of course!) You'd probably pay double that amount at the supermarket for 100oz. so it's not too bad.

If you could combine the 2 Tides with a scenario to make them even more of a deal…like if you threw in a Biotrue with a $2 off coupon and a $5/$25 instead of a $4/$20. It would take off another $2 from the total.

      • Jodielynn23

I think that's a good deal. Tide rarely goes on sale for less than $9.99, and the coupons are usually only $1. I think Tide under $8 is a good deal!

      • I have to think of laundry detergent at the price for a 50 oz. bottle. That would make a small bottle $3.62 which is pretty good deal on Tide. Some others go lower but rarely Tide. Good for you!

    • Ladyluck30030

Hi everybody! I am so excited about my trip to Rite Aid today, I had to share. I spent oop $5.43 and got back $12 in Rite Aid +up money. Total value of purchases $41.92. And I got to share couponing with the cashier. (She and the manager were impressed)

    • Dee

has riteiad stores calling customers directly ? I got 4 -5 calls yesterday. Not sure why are calling & how they got the number ? I know the day before I called the main office asking for $10.00 off $30 coupon did not print & they advise me to call them. After calling them last night they are saying no one called from this location

      • Aminehdestin

Besides having a co-worker call me from work, the only time I've ever had Rite Aid on my caller ID it's been for my mom's courtesy refills. Did they leach a message for you? If not, I wonder if when you called about the +UP and they said it wasn't them, it probably was the wellness CS line rather than whichever you got to.

So I went to RA, and I did three different transactions for the “spend $30 get $10 back” deal;, and my Uprewards DID NOT print, the store manager just told me that I had to call the 1800 number…so I did, but the person on the line told me that she was not sure on whether or not I was going to receive 3-$10 back…she said most likely just one…that if that is the case, I could call back and argue, but i will not know until after 30 days when it gets processed….any body has the same issue??…did any of you did the deal more than once and got print 3 different $10 ??? HELP… :)

      • Dharvn

i did it twice, once on monday and once today. got $10+ups both times.

both times i bought a combination of airwick ultras & compacts.

        what did you buy?

      • Sandy

Up Rewards are supposed to be Limit 1 per household even though most of the time they print multiples. I'd be surprised if they gave you more than one $10 Up. Keep your receipts in case you need to return the stuff!

      • Carolinagirl1988

It happened to me, but I only did one transaction and the cashier was not nice when I questioned it. she said since I used coupons and did not spend 30 out of pocket I would probably not get it. The manager told me to call rite aid. Mine did not print at all. oh well, will call and see what happens. do you have to spend 30 oop or can you use coupons?

        • Val

          You can use coupons

    • Babydoll 1999

How do you use the UP rewards?

      • pfsinnh

You use them exactly as you would the extra care bucks at CVS. They are just like cash money inside a Rite Aid store.

    • This is cool

FREE BAND AIDS! SCR of $3 on 2 of the Kendall products. There are printable $2 off coupons on coupons.com. Price: 2 for $7…get $3 SCR on 2 making it 2 for $4…use 2 of the $2 off coupons and you’ve got FREE band aids or bandages. I’ve got three kids so got to have something to put on those “boo boos”. :o)

    • Caritob40

I got the same thing and I did the transaction three times hoping that i would get 3 of $10 since in the circular does not state that is a limit per household like other items such as the biotrue.

    • Bridget

I didn't get my up rewards – the cashier just gave me a gift card for the amount. My total was $11 higher than I estimated but my little girl was giving me fits and I was just glad to get the gift card for $17. I got to the car and realized that she didn't scan the card – when she handed my card to me, she handed my coupons back to me then realized what she did and took the coupons back but didn't realize she didn't scan the card I guess. It was my first visit to Rite Aid and I think it is much more complicated to save money there even though they have fantastic sales.

    • This is cool

Do you have to spend the $30 to get back $10 UP in one transaction or can you accumulate over the course of the week?

      • Aminehdestin

No, it's not cumulative. The rebates where you have to spend X amount of money are, but not the +Up rewards. They tested them that way, but decided to make it a single purchase deal.

    • Aberrier2002

Hey great trip to rite aid this morning!!! I got 7 airwick imotions for 1.78 oop and my $10 up did print, Yipee $8 profit!! Luvin me some rite aid!!!

    • Phoenixphyre763

Hey y'all. I just started reading SouthernSavers about a month ago and did my first RiteAid trans last night. I got the airwick ups deal. I want to do the oral care deal, but I have not paper insert coupons and cant seem to find any printable fo any of the oral care other than 1$ off listerine. Anyone know of any that I can find that would make the oral care deal more affordable? Thanks

      • meme

There is a coupon site called (I think) couponsbydede.com. If anyone sees this post and this isn’t the exact site address, please correct it. Anyway, the site list available coupons from Sunday paper inserts and will send them to you for a small service fee. You just need to order as soon as you know the coupon is needed. She mails them out quickly but it may mean the shelves are clear when you wait until the end of the week. You can still get rainchecks and use the coupons once they arrive. Just keep in mind the expiration date on the coupon. Don’t get one too close to the expiration date unless your store will attach the coupon to the raincheck and okay it being expired when the raincheck is redeemed. Hope this helps a little.

I also ordered every sample so that I will have some high value coupons that come with the samples.

      • Sandy

The good thing about the Oral care deal is that it's through Rite Aid's Rebate program so you don't have to do the deal all at once. You have until Sept 25th to purchase either $15 of product for a $5 gc or $25 for a $10 GC. I would maybe wait until next weeks ad to purchase some oral care products. If you really want to plan ahead you can go to iheartriteaid website and look at the ads for the next few weeks. Then either order coupons through a coupon clipping service, ebay, or try going to Colgate, Reach, and Listerine's websites. They often offer printable coupons.

        • Ashley

There are free oral care items this week. No need to wait til next week. I believe the free items(tp or tb) are $2.99 with $2 UP. Some UP's are printing multiples times. Buy 1 and then go back and try a second one to see if the UP prints on the 2nd one. I've used couponclippers dot com and they will have your q's to you in 2 to 3 days. Then, take back your receipt and do a post coupon and they'll give the cash. Then you'll be started on the oral care scr with $0 oop. I have already made $10 profit 4 times buying for me and my relatives and could do a 5th starting this week but I don't feel like shopping anymore.

I was ready to check out at Rite Aid today when a customer in front of me of became somewhat upset the UP didn't print out on her $30 purchase. I was able to share the suggestions here about calling corp. or the Single Check customer service number. She and the cashier were very thankful for the information. I told her I get alot of information on Southern Savers. I even decided to switch stores to do the $10 off $30 purchase (air wick deal, I think). Thanks for everyone's post when problems arise.

    • Sandy

I just realized you had the new Rite Aid coupon policy posted (and it's so easy to access now!). Thanks Jenny! :)

    • grannysaver

I tried to print the Airwick $1.00 off “Rite-Aid Coupon”, BUT it is a “manufacturers” coupon on the ad-perk video library. Any other suggestions on how to get the $1.00 of Airwick store coupon?

      • Cindyrella

It says manufacturer coupon but if you look at the barcode, it should start with RC, which means it is a Rite Aid manufacturer coupon. Read their coupon policy, and you will see that you can use both that and the true manufacturer coupon.

    • grannysaver

On the Prilosec 42 ct for $22.99 I have a $4.00 off $20.00 coupon for watching videos plus the $1.00 off mfgrs coupon in PG and the $5.00 SCR from RiteAid makes this purchase $12.99 for the 42ct of Prilosec…Yea! I am also using 5.00 off 25.00 purchase with the five Airwicks along with (5) $4.00 off coupons for Airwick. GREAT DAY!

    • JElek

does anybody know what zip code to use for the RP $3 off L'Oreal Hair Color coupon?

    • sab

Has anyone had issues with items ringing up the wrong price and later getting a refund? I bought something and didn't pay attention to what it rang up as and was wondering if they would do a refund after the sale had ended.

      • wendy robbins

the same thing happened to me last week. they will give you a refund (I had the ad with me) should be no problem.

    • mell

    • Renae

I have a new computer and I can't print anything from Red Plum now. It says my coupons are printing but nothing happens, any suggestions?

    • Esha

Is it true that the save & stock up promo is till 9/25? If so, I purchased $30 worth of lysol & finish & no +UP printed (in 3 separate transactions over period of 2 weeks)? Should I contact customer service?
