I haven’t shopped at Rite Aid yet and it does seem easy. My question is why did you do it in 2 transactions instead of one big purchase?

    • Betsy

If you do 2 transacations, you can use 2 of the $5 off $25 coupons.

    • Cori

Also with the Sure for Men, here is a link for a “try it free”. So you could potentially get more if they have the specially marked item.

-$1 off Wound Wash coupon on select products
      where is this Q located.

    • Jane

At the Rite-Aid I go to they have told me that my purchase has to total $25 after all my other manufacturer coupons and then I can use the $5 off $25 purchase. Has anyone else had this happen? Because I noticed with some of the scenarios it would not work.

    • Malisa

There is a $4 off coupon for the Alaway drops at alaway.com. This makes for an even better $$$ maker.

    • Malisa

Sorry about that…I see you already had thew Alaway coupon listed. That is what I get for tryiong to hold the baby and make my list at the same time.

    • Betsy

Just got back from Rite Aid. The wound wash Q’s are wrapped around the top of the bottle. Can’t miss them.
Also, I’ve never had that happen with the $5 off coupon. I don’t see how they can say that if you have them total all the items and then use the $5 coupon before you use all the manf coupons.

    • Beth

I noticed that on Rite Aid this week you haven’t mentioned the Ziploc Brand Bags BOGO. My Rite Aid in Georgia carried the expandable bottom bags as well as the regular ones. In the 5/3S insert there was a coupon for BOGO on the expandable bottom bags. You know what that means! Also, at Publix this week, I found a blinking in the checkout line for BOGO Mars Candy including M&M’s. Rite Aid also has those on sale this week BOGO. Gotta love free candy and storage bags

    • Kim

Okay, this is my first time asking a question here. You have listed the “sure for men” deodorant on sale for approx.$2. I don’t see any listing for any sure on sale. Am I overlooking something?

      • Jenny

        Kim,

The sure is not on sale, that is a regular price item that has a rebate available this week. I’m just giving an average regular price.

    • Kim

      Jenny,

Thanks! I also wanted to say how great this website is. I have been couponing for at least 20yrs and I thought I had all of the tricks down. Thanks so much for keeping the “thrill of the hunt” alive!

    • Audrey

where is vitamin water listed as 5 for $5? my local rite aid is not advertising it.

    • jenniferpy1

Does anyone have the link for the printable Rite Aid coupons that were posted in a previous RA scenario? They expire 6/30/09. I printed one or two the other day, but I’m preparing for a RA trip this week and want to double check those printables before I leave. If you can tell me where to look, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! ~ Jenn

    • On the first deal, you’d be using three internet coupons- are the Rite Aids still only taking one coupon per transaction? Or did they change that again. I know our Rite Aids are very strict about internet printables.

    • shan

Do you have to have a store card like you do at CVS for these deals? I am new to this…any help would be appreciated!!!

      • Jenny

        Shan,

There is no store card for Rite Aid. Just grab the products and then register on their site and enter the info it asks for.

    • Jane

For the Suave Deodorants it says limit 2 rebates above, but in the ad this week it says limit one rebate. I checked in the Rite-Aid rebates for the month though and it says limit two. Has anyone had this problem before where the ad varies from the rebate catalog?

Also I went today and they held the $5 off $25 coupon until after all my other coupons again. This is the second time they have done this? Has anyone else had this problem?? (they won’t let you use the coupon unless your total purchases are $25 after the rest of your coupons)

    • Jane

jenniferpy1 If you look under the Rite-Aid Weekly Deals from 5/02 the coupon that expires 6/30 is there.

Also Brandy – I used 6 interenet coupons today in one transaction. I guess it just depends on the rite-aid.

    • Amy

If anyone still has their free Right Guard coupons left that we were able to print a while ago before the Celebrity Apprentice, you can use these at Rite aid to get 2 free deodorants because they have them buy one get one free.

    • tom

can u tell me whether we can use one internt coupon & manufacture coupon for one product.I mean to say can we use 2 coupons for one product

      • Jenny

        Tom,

An internet printable and a regular manufacturer coupon are both really manufacturer coupons so you can only use one. If you are using a store coupon and manufacturer coupon you could use two coupons on one item.

    • I hadn’t been to Rite-Aid in a long while but decided to go again starting this week. Unfortunately, my store doesn’t accept internet coupons.:-( I still did well on what I got though, and now I know for next time.

      Thanks for all you do!

    • jenniferpy1

Thanks Jane! I thought there was a printable for the RA allergy meds that are on the Rebate list – and there IS one for $4.00/1 RA Allergy 100 count. Yippee! Thanks for the help! ~ Jenn

    • jenniferpy1

Mary Ann, which store location? Town/State – inform the public please? ;) My store has not refused them as of yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

    • jenniferpy1,
Rock Hill, SC-the Main Street store. I need to check and see if the other Rite Aid in town has the same policy.

    • nancy

I goofed I did the first one but did not see the Q for the saline wash. I did not reliese I needed to check the cans for the Q. I paid 12 oop. ugh. You guys are great.

    • nancy

Has anyone had a good way to orgenize your Q.

    • Sandi

FYI the Rite Aid on Two Notch Rd in Columbia, SC–sold out of Right Guard and Alaway, should have more on Thursday, they will give you a rain check if you want one.

    • tonya

      nancy,

let me know if you figure it out. mine are spread out all over the guest room of our house. thankfully we’ve not had quest lately.

also, jenny, we cannot thank you enough…i went to nine store’s today and honestly don’t have the energy to post all my deals. i do know i only spent about $50 after rebates/ecbs/rrs, and i literally had to make room for my 3 kids/ 3 dogs/ and 2 rabbits when i went to pick them up from school (the kids). p.s… i drive a yukon xl!

      love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Lizel

Beth or anybody that knows the answer,

Please explain to me how you get the ziploc bags free! You said they are BOGO in the store and with a BOGO coupon they are free!

      • Jenny

The Ziploc bags are free because being B1G1 already one if free and the other is full price. Then using a B1G1 coupon makes the other one free too. So you get both free!!

    • dena

If I buy two of the same item that has an SCR, will I get it twice? What if it is in the same transaction or separate?

This info might be somewhere, but I didn’t see a Rite Aid guide…

      Thanks!
      Dena

    • Melissa

I was wondering the same thing about the BOGO ziploc bags! How are they free? :)

    • Krista

      Lizel,
With a BOGO coupon and a BOGO sale you should be able to get both free since the store sale will pay for one and the coupon will pay for the other. CVS has a corporate policy to accept coupons in this manner, however, with other drugstores your experience may vary. Also, I believe the ziploc bag coupon has a max. price on it of like 2.19 or something… and Rite Aid’s normal prices are high, like any drugstore. I wouldn’t be surprised if the ziploc bags are around $4 each. Assuming that price it would look like this: 2 Ziploc bags * $4= $8 -$4 for the BOGO sale -2.19 for the coupon =1.81 for two boxes of ziploc bags. Not a great deal but ok if you need them, I guess.

    • jen

if you use the rite aid card they have you will receive 10 percent off of purchases not on sale and sometimes it will give you it off of on sale prices so it is best to use all of the time for the extra off!!

    • jen

i see jenny told shane but for the extra off i would ask for the rite aid card!!sorry should have included that up above

    • Christa

Hi Jenny and thank you for your awesome blog! Do all RAs now accept Internet Printables? If so, is there a policy that I could print out to take into my local store?

      Thank you!

    • tonya

      christa,

i have 3 rite aids within a 20 mile radius of my home. one “WILL NOT” accept any internet printed coupons. the manager at that store said they were having problems being reimbursed by them and decided not to honor them. they will accept any “rite aid” internet printed coupon and any newspaper/magazine coupons. the other two rite aids in my area accept all and any coupons. therefore, i must confer that it depends on each store/manager decision. check/call before you go. i have several drug stores (cvs, walgreens, rite aids) in my city and i know which ones take which coupons and make multiple daily trips once a week.

    • Mary

      Nancy & Tonya,
For those of you looking for a good way to organize your coupons. I stumbled on a website that had a method posted that works for me. http://iheartcvs.com/2008/09/collecting-organizing-coupons.html
She has instructions with pics on what she does with all the inserts. As for lose and printables, I use a photo album for 4×6 prints and have somewhat separated them by category. I then have a little spiral notebook (purse size) to write down what I want to purchase (a page per store)and how many. I use a coupon organizer labeled by store rather than product to put my coupons in as I am making my list, so that when I get to the store all I have to do is pull out the coupons for that store open my list and shop. Hope this helps and would love to know how anyone else does it!
      Mary

    • Candice

Im a newbie here, so any tips are greatly appreciated.
I love the idea of the photo album!! Im bummed that the week I decide to do this, is the week there will be no inserts in the paper!!! :()
but Im getting ready anyway, and getting organized. I am in baby!!!!
Im so excited. I cant stand it.

    • Lauren

O man I got 25 bottles of Vitamin water today for FREE!! Yeah, since we are driving to Vegas in the morning we will prolly drink all of them between our family!!

On another note, I had an AWFUL experience at a different Rite Aid. The cashier was so rude to me. She even told me to step aside and let her ring other customers out, all because I wanted to use coupons! Well she wasn’t going to let me use the $5 off $25 coupon before coupons, so I told her that I’ll just put the other coupons back in my purse and she wouldn’t even know I had them, then after scanning the $5 off coupon I’ll bring them back out lol. She FINALLY did it. Also, my total rang up to 24.11 so I grabbed a pack of mints, and she said you can’t do that! haha I couldn’t believe she said that! Well I got $25 worth of stuff for $9 and after my rebates I’ll have a profit of $4!

    • Sherri

My Rite Aid wouldn’t take any internet coupons until a few weeks ago. I kept asking and they finally now have a sign that has all the ‘rules’ at each register. It states they will take ONE internet coupon only per transaction and it MUST scan when they scan it. If it won’t scan, as in if it printed poorly or their machines are older than Moses, then they refuse to take it, they say rules are rules. The coupon I print for 5/25 won’t scan because while the regular print is ok, the print on the coupon comes out very blurry and no one seems to know why or how to fix it. I did get a nice manager tonight who still took the 5 on 25 but said he shouldn’t have taken it. I hate coupons. *sigh

    • Martha

Is there another link for the $5 off coupon?. I remember one that was valid until June 30. Thanks

    • jen

fyi some of the rite aids have been receiving online coupons that are fraud i was at one today in sc and at the register they are posted wich ones are fraud!!!

    • nancy

mary thank you. My husband said that looked better than what I was doing.
