I shared a few weeks back about the new Rite Aid program that required a shoppers card.

This program is continuing to expand and appears to be getting very fun! In a few weeks many of you will start to get rewards that print on receipt just like at other drugstores. These rewards can be used on anything in the store like currency.

To get started saving and earning rewards:

  • Make sure you are signed up with the program. They send great printable coupons and will mail you a card.
  • If you got a card in the store you still want to register it online to get the extra coupons!!
  • You’ll get a $5 off $25 printable coupon just for signing up!

Jost a side note, when printing the Wellness+ coupon from the website, make sure you print them using the whole page. I tried saving ink and paper by only doing them as half a page and it wouldn't scan so they wouldn't take it.

        • Ashley J

I try to save paper ink too, so I save it to my desktop and then open it go to tools, zoom, snapshot and it allows you to select just the coupon you want and print it without all the colored background. Hope this helps.

What a great idea! Thanks, I'll have to try this.

You don't have to print the whole page or even half the page to save on ink. You can print just one coupon off the page if you want. To do this you must click on tools at the top menu bar. Go to customize tools. Find the snapshot tool in the list and make sure you have a check mark in the box next to it. A picture of a camera will show up on the menu bar. You have to click on this camera each time you want to print a coupon(s) out. After you click on it go to your coupon and with the left mouse button scan down the coupon you want. It will make it a darker color when you have selected it. A pop up box will come up that says selected area has been copied. You just close it out. Then you can print your coupon. I use scratch paper that I save to print out one or two coupons so I am not wasting a whole sheet. I also print out my rite aid coupons w/just black ink. The stores I go to do not have a problem with this but you probably should ask your store first.

Yay!!! I'm so excited about this because Rite Aid is the only drugstore I have in my town. Are they going to do away with their SCR program and make it be more like the isntant store rebates we see at CVS and Wags?

I've had $1 off certain $10 purchases (similar to the pdf coupons available) but no $$$ coupons on my receipt yet, that's kinda neat.

i hope this doesn't mean they are getting rid of single check rebates……

I just signed up last week and got coupons by watching the videos. I printed my $5 off $25 when I first registered, then I got my $5 off $20 for watching videos. However, I think I cut them off the whole page:( This morning I got and email from them reminding me that their coupons would be expiring at end of the month and they gave me another $5 off $20.

        • pharmSCgirl

I got an e-mail too, but where did you find the additional $5 off $20? I didn't see it in the e-mail

      • at

I got 2 coupons printed on my receipt last week. I too hope that they don't get rid of the SCR program.

      • Not sure where else to ask this so I thought I'd go with the most recent post –

I'm a military wife and stop in at the commissary sometimes to get deals on “need it now” stuff that I just can't beat price-wise anywhere else. They often hand me booklets of coupons when I walk in (it makes me SO happy) and some are manufacturer coupons and others are ones that say things like “manufacturers military coupon”, “manufacturer coupon military store only”, etc etc. They are all coded as MF coupons and I know that I've seen coupons before that are MF and have the walmart symbol or say to use at Target, etc but they work anywhere (the “where” is just a suggestion). Do you think this is the same with these? Will places like publix/rite aid take them? I know I need to ask, I just always forget when I'm there b/c between great deals and my one year old who I do all of this with, I get mommy-brained until I get back in front of my computer and my coupons and have all of you veterans to ask!! Any experiences??? I'd love to be able to use all these extra coupons I have!

        • Susan

Look at the bar code–true manufacturer coupons start with a tiny 5.

          • guest

            You mean 5 OR 9.

        • Sue

Customer Service at Publix told me that they take any Manufacturer's coupons. I had a catalina coupon from Bi-Lo that had Bi-Lo on it but also said “manufacturer's coupon”. When I checked out, it scanned at the register with no problem.

      • As far as I know, they aren't getting rid of the SCR. In fact I've been told they are finding ways to make the SCR better too. :)

      • JJ

Look like they are trying to be the new CVS. There last try to make it. When CVS had trouble that when they went to card and it saved them who want another store card? This is so the store has all your info and will share it with everyone I also was told at a few store they will be ending the SCR program.

Rite Aid's deals do not seem as good as they were a few months ago. I have not shopped there all month.

      • Kiddie

Does anyone know how the wellness point is accumulated? Whether point are rewarded on totals before or after coupon deductions?

        • Jennifer

I was wondering the same thing because I can go in to rite aid and my total will come to $270 something and I will only spend under $20. I called and asked because my points wasnt ading up and they said it was after coupons. I wish it was before. If it was I would have alrady hit my 1,000 points. My rite aid lady will price match for me so I only shop at rite aid. I was paid $1.67 out of the cash register one time, we don't know how that happend but I liked it. There is one thing I don't understand about coupons is that I can do a deal twice and it come to different totals that I have to pay.
