    • I love RiteAid. This is awesome. Yes yes yes.

Every time I go to Rite Aid, they never have the sale items and when I ask for rain checks, am told that they don't do that. So, needless to say, I don't shop at Rite Aid any longer. Also, I heard they were going bankrupt and closing all stores?? Anyone know if that rumor is true?

      • AJ

Rite Aid “operates close to 4,800 stores in 31 U.S. states, but has closed 22 stores during the last quarter and plans to shutter another 80 this year.”

      • I just went to my Rite Aid today and asked for a rain check without any problems. Great customer service! Try a different Rite Aid in your area. I always fill out the surveys at the end of the receipt to make sure my favorite Rite Aids are known! I hope they don't close.

I'm super excited about this program. I already signed up online and should get the card in the mail soon.

      • Do you go on Sundays? Some RiteAids sell out of sale items a lot faster than others. In Nashville, if I didn't make it in by Sunday afternoon I didn't bother, but I can mosey in on a Wednesday here in Baton Rouge and not find anything sold out!

        • susan70032

I never thought about going on a Sunday. I believe I went during the day on a weekday…..later in the week, like Thursday I think. I tried two different ones. They have one on St. Charles and Louisiana, very nice employees, but no product, and one on Canal St. with not so nice employees AND no product! I think I will give the one on St. Charles a try this Sunday, Thanks!!

      • Meme

I have the same problem at my local Rite Aid. They are always out of at least one sale item, and I always shop on Sunday, the first day of the sale. It's annoying because I base my scenarios on those sale products, and when they don't have an item, it messes everything up.

      • couponqueen925

I get rainchecks on a regular basis.

    • acdugger

I live about 60 miles from a test area and have been doing the wellness program for a while. I am already get 10% automatically on every transaction and close to getting 20%. Also the wellness coupons help you get even better deals than you would hope to.

      • RebeccaFer

I'm curious about that 10% savings, does it work with a $/$$ q too? And does it work for everything? If I have a scenario with a $25+ b4 qs, would it take off $2.50 AND take off the $5/$25 q too? If so, that would be wild! And then to put qs in too would make some seriously low oop! I have one and stupidly haven't been using one. I'm in Charlotte but am only 70 miles from one of the test sites and you can be within 100 miles.

Also, does anyone know if you can use the transfer qs more then just the 2 per 6 months allowed before? I have several prescriptions I could transfer but I'd like to wait until my 6 months is up if I can't get the $25 yet.

    • Shelly

I love me some Rite Aid!

    • Frustrated

Can anyone help? I am not even sure the best place to post this so here goes: I am very frustrated w/ online coupons. I cannot print Bricks coupons or some others, I spend a lot of time signing up for these companies lists in order to get coupon then it links through bricks and i just get a white screen, nothing. Is it the site? My antivirus software? Anyone had problems that knows how to fix it? Thanks! Signed, Frustrated

      • alissabeth

Could be your browser. Until recently, it didn't work in Chrome for me. Plus, some of the links posted could be for IE or FF. Make sure you click the one you need. You also might need to reinstall your coupon printer.

    • alissabeth

I signed up for this a while back because they were offering a 5/15 or such coupon. I couldn't use it around here though, so I'm glad I finally can!

    • Excited!

Once you get your card at the store go home and “activate” it online and get a $5 off $25 purchase as well !!!

    • aperture

Is this for all ages? I don't know why I thought you had to be something like 55+, maybe I'm confusing it with another program of theirs. TIA

    • eric

you all might be dancing in your chairs for this, but don't forget us poor rite aid employees when you rain on us this sunday….what you didn't cover is the fact that soon all sales will be only with the card, so you'll have an advantage with coupons. You'll add up to $25 easier because you can:

      scan items
      use $5 off $25 coupon
scan wellness card (then all the items go down to sale price)
      then additional coupons

this however is going to be a huge pain for us poor employees…you're limited to 4 transactions with “total purchase” *$5 off $25 purchases* so don't come in and bring 2 daughters and expect to have 15 transactions (YES a lady tried to do that) to get 120 things of makeup and only pay for the tax after your buy 1 get 1 free coupons and pay for the tax with rx transfer gift cards. the reason ppl complain about rite aids being whipped out is because of people like that, and some people don't enforce the rules…

there's nothing wrong with using coupons to get deals, however giving us hell and asking for the manager because we're not letting you do 30 transactions is WRONG.

      • Suemh

Wow! Hopefully cashiers will not object to ringing up before scanning card. I have always loved my Rite Aid. The people are great and I have never had a problem there. The manager told me that a new program was coming so I have been waiting for this. I do have a question for you. You said that you are limited to 4 transactions. Does that mean 4 per day or what?

      • Meme

I think you're exaggerating a whole lot. And you ought to be thankful for shoppers “raining in” your store-we pay your wages. I think you ought to take up your complaints with management, not loyal customers.

        • ant0288

i have no problem with what he said as a loyal rite aid customer… printing a ton of those 5 off 25 coupons and expecting them to allow you to do 30 something transactions is ridiculous… by not playing by the intended purpose of the programs you are ripping off the story and hurting everyone else who then has to pay for it…. either because you took ALL the items (i know rite aid isnt well stocked in a lot of items, but when you go in and buy 30 of the same item it isnt fair or nice)… you are saving a ton of money due to the program, but ripping off the company makes it difficult for everyone else…

      • Lisa

Eric, human nature being what it is, there are always going to be people who try to abuse the system and there are always going to be rude people. Just try not to let those people influence your opinion of anyone using coupons. Most of us just want to combine a sale and a coupon for a really good deal. We're not out to hurt anyone doing it, and if you've read or listened to any of Jenny's tutorials, she stresses following by the rules, and being polite at all times. She advises us to walk away from a deal rather than being rude to a cashier over a couponing issue, and I believe most of us follow that advice. If you are going to work retail, or any type of customer service, you are going to encounter rude people. It's just an unpleasant aspect of your job.

    • caroline

This doesn't sound better than the riteaid rx card I already have at all. I can go every Tue. and get 20% off RA brand AND 10% off everything else in the store that is reg. price without having to “earn” it.
I only shop Tues. now bc I can stack my RA coupon, my manu coupon AND then my RA card for the extra % off reg. price items (even ones that have rebates) – it's wonderful!

    • couponqueen925

It's about time! I have been waiting so long for this to make it to California!

    • babydoll

The RiteAid paper has wellness card buys. The sales end on the 17th. You can't use the card until the 18th. Is there any way to get the buys anyway?

    • Lisa

Has anyone gotten any coupons for signing up? There was a message saying I'd get $50 in coupons for signing up, but I haven't gotten them yet.

    • $SavinMom

Anyone having trouble signing up? I have been trying for three days now and the website is down every time I go. Could it be something with my internet or is the site really not working? Does anyone know if you can sign-up in the store?
