Have you ever heard of Rock-it Oil Stone?  It’s a non-abrasive cleaner that gets up the tough stuff that somehow accumulates in a house.  Rock-it Oil Stone works like a magnet to attract and remove trapped dirt without scratching your surfaces and you can pick it up in the cleaning aisle at The Home Depot.

This cleaner cleans deep down – keeping the countertop cleaner longer.  It polishes without streaking and removes even the toughest grease and stains.  You don’t have to worry about it affecting any sealers that you have on your countertop, it’s good to go.  It’s ideal for natural stone – polished granite, marble, soap stone, slate and polished concrete.

On top of all of that, Rock-it Oil Stone is biodegradable, environmentally friendly and food safe!

With four little girls who love to help in the kitchen, we have a lot of big messes in that room.  I don’t let them use the tough cleaners to pick up their messes, but Rock-it Oil Stone sounds like something they’d be able to clean with.  It’s safe to use around them, and safe for the environment!

    • theaikenparrs

I also entered – and I would use the money to finish the kitchen renovation we started three years ago……we still need under cabinet lighting (the bare wires are not attractive) and we need to buy a few more of the IKEA cabinet fronts to finish lingering work…..

    • k anne

    • Toni Woodbury

I’ve entered the contest. I would use it to get some new cabinets and appliances–need a new oven/stove, dishwasher, etc. Mine are ancient and, for instance, the heating elements in the dishwasher do not work. I’d love a gas range. Need a range fan. We had a plumbing leak under the floor that came up under the walls and damaged the particle board cabinets. Yuck, particle board. Might as well store your dishes in cardboard boxes!

    • stickrn

i would get a new stove and fridge!

    • cher

I entered. I would likely start with the changing out the island surface to stone or butcher block. A new microwave at the least it is well over 25 years old by now. Always repainting and new linens help for the least cost and bang.

    • SmoochTheCook

I would fix the plumbing under the sink, which pulls apart about 2 x per month and leaks everywhere. I’d put in a countertop along the back part of the kitchen too and have part of the wall gone to be able to serve food easier. Ohhh, I’d make $2000 go far! Heck, I’d make $500 make me incredibly happy just to fix the plumbing and replace the floor of the cabinet under the sink! :)

    • MB

I am in! I would do a new vent above the range and put in another oven!

    • kelbs

    • Abby Schiera

Entered! I would use the money to get new cabinets because when we bought our house it was a short sale that had had a string of renters in it. They did not take very good care of the house and even though I cleaned and painted the cabinets in an attempt to make them decent some of them are broken or have some kind of defect. So I would get new cabinets.

    • Kelliea

Entered the sweepstakes! I’d replace my builtin oven/microwave (they are old and don’t work well, esp the microwave) with double ovens that I’ve ALWAYS wanted! Plus I’d love a tile backsplash.
