Shell is bringing back their incredibly popular WINSdays.  Every time the #22 Shell Car wins a Nascar race the following Wednesday will have big savings for us.  Total you can save $9.90 off gas thanks to this win!!

To get the savings you need to have a two things (both are free to get):

Shell Saver Card

Fuel Rewards Network Card

How the savings works:

  1. Shell Saver Cardholders will get a savings of 22¢ per gallon (up to 25 gallons) when they purchase any grade of Shell Gasolines or Shell Diesel using their Shell Saver Card the Wednesday – or WINsday – following the win.
  2. When you use your Shell Saver Card on WINsday, you will get an email with an FRN Rewards Code and activation instructions.  Once the FRN Rewards Code has been activated, the additional 22¢ per gallon savings (up to 20 gallons) will be added to your FRN Account and can be redeemed on a future purchase of gasoline with their Fuel Rewards Network Card at any participating Shell station.

Odds are that most of you don’t have a Saver Card.  So go ahead and get one now, so that the next time #22 wins you win!  A Shell Saver Card is free to get and is linked to your checking account and gives you a 2¢ per gallon discount every time you get gas.

The Fuel Rewards Card is also free to get and is jsut a rewards card.  You earn another 3¢ off per gallon with this card (they can be used together) plus you earn more gas savings through many other ways to earn.  Most folks save around 25¢ per gallon with the Fuel Rewards Network program!

I just signed up for both and it took maybe 5 minutes total.  While I won’t get the 44¢ savings tomorrow, I’m totally ready and cheering him on for the next race!!  (When he does win Saver Card members get an email so you won’t miss the savings).

(thanks Peggy!)

I went to apply for the Saver card and they want not only my checking account number, but the bank routing number as well – no way!

      • Ginny

Giving the rounting number is no different than writing a check. Your check has both the routing number and account number on it. The routing number lets them know which bank.

I’m surely not giving out my account info either! Thanks for letting us know nitaroyal.

    • Deb

That’s how you pay for the gas…from your checking account.

You don’t have to sign up with your primary account. I have a checking account at a separate banking institution so that when I do things like this they can’t access my primary account with my direct deposit.

So I already have an FRN card but not a Shell Saver card, so will I save money with one card but not the other?

    • Caroline

Can you also use $.10 off from Kroger??

    • srfields

Jenny, how does FRN know to send me the email? Will I somehow have to link the Shell Saver card and the FRN card together?

      • srfields

Nevermind, I just realized that it’s Shell that’s emailing me the FRN code, not FRN. Sorry!

My Bi-Lo fuelperks station is Shell. Can I use my fuel perks with the same deal?
