A few years ago I decided to jump on the Swagbucks bandwagon and see how much I could earn before Christmas shopping time. Swagbucks is a website that gives you points (called swagbucks) to use them as your search engine, plus you can earn more bucks for all sorts of other things like surveys, shopping online, coupons and more.
These Swagbucks… they magically turn into free gift cards! For me in my daily searching I can usually earn 20-50 swagbucks. If I do a few surveys or extra things then each week I can earn around 270-300 points (I’m not on the computer everyday). When you have 450 Swagbucks you can get a $5 Amazon gift card.
Right now we have 15 weeks left till Christmas (yep, I went there). That means that with a little change of what search engine you use, you could have earned $50 in Amazon gift cards for Christmas shopping! Of course you can always go big and earn more, but this is a pretty realistic goal.
