  • Has anyone tried this and seen the money post to their account?  I've been waiting over 2 weeks for one of mine.

    • Leighnamie

I made a purchase first week of May and still haven't seen a deposit or a post verifying transaction either, and that coupon/savings is about to expire before it even gets verified >.<

      • SavingStar

Hi everyone – savings take 7-30 days to post, depending on the store. We've just fixed a bug in the system so that you should now receive an email once the savings post to your account. Thanks, Josh

    • Kristy

Same thing for me. I am still waiting too. The site says they will send you an email when it has posted- no email for me! I've gotten stuff from both CVS and Bi-Lo

    • Nani

i signed up at the beginning of may and made a purchase that same week, it took about 3 weeks for it to post to my account but once it was there, i was able to cash out! i chose paypal and within 2 days it showed up there, they even sent me a confirmation! i must definitely love saving star!!

  • Saylorsmom

I have used several with no deposit. It stated it could take 7 to 30 days to post, but the coupons are still showing available for me to use????? I am confused about it

    • SavingStar

Hi Saylorsmom – The reason the coupons you used are still showing up is because we have not received the data from the store you shopped at that the coupons were actually used. This takes 7-30 days depending on the store. Once we know the coupon was used, we remove it from your list of active coupons, and they will instead show as “redeemed” under My Account, where you will also see your savings. Thanks, Josh

  • tori729

So once the month ends, do you lose those coupons like Upromise or do they stay on your account? I don't feel like it's worth it to sign up until I actually find a coupon I can use.

    • They do change each month.  Heads up though, there are limited numbers available of each coupon so come June 1 if there is a coupon you want you need to be ready to get it loaded.  Once you load it you have all month to use it even if they run out for other folks.

      • tori729

        Cool thanks Jenny!

  • w120jmk

I purchased something off my list about 3 weeks ago and it still has not show up in my account. I am beginning to wonder if it even works or not…

    • SavingStar

Savings will post within 7-30 days, depending on the store you shopped. As soon as we get the data from the store, we post it to your account. Thanks, Josh

  • Nani

for those wondering if it works or not, be patient, it does work! i got $8.24 posted to my account and ive already cashed out :D!! if you chose paypal then it takes 2 more days but they send you a confirmation when the money is transfered and when its  in your account :)

    • SavingStar

      Great to hear Nani! -Josh

  • Dennis

How secure is it to have the money wired into your checking account?

    • SavingStar

Hi Dennis, We definitely understand your concerns. We use a
public company called Bancorp to encrypt all of your bank account
information. You can also choose to have a PayPal deposit, an Amazon
gift card, or make a donation to charity. Thanks for your interest in
      SavingStar! Josh

  • ljh

I have not currently had any luck with this site.  I have used several of the coupons, and no money has shown.  It has been almost two weeks, and still nothing.

    • Mmkauffmannh

Same here How long does it take?

      • SavingStar

Hi guys – Savings post within 7-30 days depending upon where you shopped. Thanks, Josh

  • lisasmith1019

I'm having the same problems.  It's been weeks since I purchased the Sunny D and nothing has posted on Saving Star.

    • Shaina

I'm having the same problem! One of the items I purchased is showing up but three are not. I contacted them so hopefully they will fix it!

      • SavingStar

Hi Shaina and Lisa – Savings post within 7-30 days, depending upon which store you shopped. Thanks, Josh

  • candy

Why when I sign in does it say there are only 37 coupons available?

    • SavingStar

Hi Candy, If you've selected coupons on Upromise, then the coupons that you have not previously selected will be available on SavingStar. (Coupons can only be selected on SavingStar or Upromise, but not on both). Thanks, Josh

      • candy

        Oh!  Ok, thank you!

  • Heather

My kroger wouldn't accept them. Sigh…

    • Anonymous

Hi Heather, SavingStar does work at Kroger. Just register you Kroger card on SavingStar.com and use your card at checkout. The savings will then be deposited into your SavingStar account within 7-30 days. Thanks, Josh

  • Holtzclaw5

Does this coupon program work at Publix?

    • Laura

I was wondering the same thing, but after looking at the website I'm guessing that you can't, because there isn't a customer card, like CVS has. I could be wrong….

      • SavingStar

Hi – Josh from SavingStar here. Publix is currently not participating in SavingStar, but they participate in Upromise, which SavingStar provides the eCoupons for. We'd encourage you to reach to Publix directly so they can hear from their customers that you'd like them to join! (Publix offers a “Upromise keytag” you can get at customer service desks in order to register the card on Upromise).

  • SavingStarNeal

Hi – this is Neal from SavingStar. Just to address a few of the questions posted here – transactions can take from a few days to a few weeks to post to your SavingStar account depending on the store. If it’s been more than 30 days, please contact our customer care at our ‘Contact Us’ page (https://savingstar.com/contact/new) with your e-mail, frequent shopper card # & what you purchased and we will help you out. Also, don’t worry if you don’t see your savings by the expiration date of the coupon. As long as you made your purchase before the expiration date, you will get credit. Any other questions, feel free to ask here or on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/savingstar).

  • Kcwalters70

Does this really work?  I just recently started using e-VIC coupons at HT, and this sounds pretty good too…just wondering before I sign up…

  • Kcwalters70

Oh, disregard my comment…I didn't see any comments (which I thought was weird) then when I posted, I saw them!…duh…

  • Appleshell

I wish Walgreens had a card so that my purchases from there would show up. I bought Snuggle there this month, but will miss out on the $1 from SavingStar. Or better yet, I wish SavingStar would come up with their own cards that we can scan (along with a store card if there is one) to get the extra discounts. That way, we could use them anywhere that excepts coupons and it will show up that we bought it.

    • Appleshell

      oops…I meant “accepts”.

  • Denise

I wonder if anyone is still monitoring comments on this post.
If I have a paper coupon for the same product, can I only use one or the other?

    • Denise P.

I just now noticed the bold print that answers my question!   :)
