SC Johnson has a great new rebate out!!  Buy any 3 participating items get a $5 rebate.  I know it sounds small, but timed right this is huge.

Participating Items are:

• Ziploc
• Glade
• Windex

For everyone else —

You have until 7/15/2010 to get this in the mail so don’t worry your money making days are coming.

(thanks DealSeekingMom!)

This does not say when it begins. I bought scrubbing bubbles a couple of weeks ago. Think it will count?

      • Jenny

        I had a similar question–I bought Ziploc a few weeks ago . . .

        • Same question – I have two toddlers so I buy Shout every time it’s on sale!

          • Katrina

On the printable form it says
            To receive your mail-in rebate:
            1. Purchase any THREE SC Johnson products from the list above between 10/1/09 through 6/30/10. Twin-packs and multi-packs are considered as single product purchase.

            plus some other SIMPLE instructions

      • Dee

I just called the 1-800 number and the customer service person said that it starts tomorrow Oct 1, 2009). She says that she has had quite a few calls and that they are working on getting the information out.

    • JennyM

I can’t see any reason why it wouldn’t. There is nothing on the rebate that says when the receipts have to be dated.

    • JAC

I’m leery of this, because if it’s missing the details about when the receipts should be dated, it might be missing some fine print that says your rebate is only good up to the amount you paid for the items. (On the other hand, FREE [minus your postage cost] isn’t so bad, I guess.)

    • Amanda

      This is great! Thx

    • Micheal

Do you get the $5 rebate back in full even if your purchase is for less than $5?

    • DJ

You’re right. It doesn’t have a start date on it.

    • Michelle

With all the B1G1 glade sales, I have bought well over 9 products within in the last 2 weeks… Did customer service say that they would honor purchases made prior to October 1 since the form does not specify? I have my receipts, the UPC codes on the packages and everything.

      • Dee

I agree with Michelle. That is their mistake. If we have the original rebate form that does not show the date, they show honor that (within reason – say within a month).

    • kathi

I picked up 2 SC Johnson coupon books from an aisle display at my BiLo and there are coupons for everyone of these products

    • Carolin

I don’t like it when the rebate doesn’t specify an item. I’m sorta new to couponing and am a little worried that I’ll do all the work to buy the items and fill out and mail the rebate and then find out 6-8 weeks later that I bought the wrong items. I’ve been stocking up all week on the Glade oil candle refills. I love these candles. They don’t last that long, but you can’t bet FREE (Kmart doubles). I know that it was to be separate transactions, but I’m wondering if they will consider the refills. I’m gonna give it a try.

    • Does it have to be seperate transactions? I just bought ziploc, windex and scrubbing bubbles today at publix!!! Or can I just make copies of the reciept and send that in seperately?

    • jj

Hooray for Publix rain checks! I didn’t get those Glade oil things since they were out last week – now between those and the Windex I’m set for the first rebate!

    • Susan

Just found $2 off 2 Scrubbing bubbles sprays inside the box of Scubbing bubbles brand “Action Scrubbers.” (Got these at some deal a while back.)

Also, is anyone having trouble opening the rebate form for this deal? When I do, it just opens to a little picture window in the top left corner. Kind of confused!

      • Maxine

I have the same ?’s as you. Is there anyone who can help?

        • Freedom

Mine did the same thing and then the rebate form loaded. You may just need to give it a few extra seconds to finish loading.

          • Ashley

Mine did the same thing, I right clicked and saved it to my desktop. I did not have any trouble opening it from there

            • Susan

I still cannot open this form! Even tried right-clicking it, and there’s no way for me to save it. Does anyone mind e-mailing me a saved copy of it? My address is sag0907@yahoo.com Thanks!

    • Rachel

There’s a $2 off any 2 Scrubbing Bubbles coupon on the Scrubbing Bubbles I just bought at Publix… and gee I hope the rebate works for purchases made before Oct. 1st!

    • evie

The link to the rebate form isn’t working. Anyone else having this problem? Have they cancelled the rebate promotion??

    • Cindy

I just talked with a customer service rep about whether we can use receipts dated before Oct 1. She said that all the information they have about the rebate is that it starts today. I asked it she could find out from someone else, but she said the rebate is new to them, and they don’t have anymore info yet.

She said to go ahead and try mailing the receipts of previous purchases and see if it works. I guess if it doesn’t, then we should have a year (Lord willing) to purchase the products.

      • Dee

I don’t like putting my receipts out there unless it’s necessary because I have needed that same receipt to return an item to the store that was on that same receipt.

        • Cindy

I just went to print three more rebate forms in case it didn’t work, and they have already changed the form to read “purchase…between 10/1/2009 through 6/30/10.

So I guess that answers the question.

    • Ruth

I just spoke to them on the phone, here are the answers I received:
*New form at http://www.scjohnson.com/en/products/coupons.aspx lists purchase dates as 10/1-6/30/2009. NO RECEIPTS BEFORE 10/1 WILL BE ACCEPTED (bummer, I got mine last night!)
*Rebate is $5 on 3 products regardless of purchase price, limit of $15 per house hold
*Each set of three products must be separate transactions because you must have the original receipt with each, and all must be mailed separately.
According to the rep I talked to, they will not be making exceptions.

The number to call with questions is 800-410-5235. Please let me know if you hear something different!

    • Scott

I just spoke with customer service regarding purchases made on 9/30. They will not be honoring those even though those dates were requested to be included.

    • Miranda

I just made $6.02 for buying Scrubbing Bubbles cleaner at Publix…here’s how: Cleaner BOGO at $3.49 (bought four) – (2)$2.00 peelie coupons on cleaner -(4) $1.00 coupons from the One Store, One Home Publix booklet, plus the $5.00 SC Rebate. Can’t beat that for a deal!!

      • Susan

How were you able to used both the peelies and “One store” coupons? They are both manufacturer’s so you shouldn’t be able to stack them, right?

    • Whitney

I can’t get the form to download. Would anyone be willing to email it to me if I send you my email address? Thanks!

    • Cori

I was in Bilo today and the glade plug gel plug-ins were $1.75 each, use the BOGO coupon and make $1.50. The same plug-ins are at Walmart for $1.98 making $1.04! Unfortunately, I bought them at Walmart first =(.

    • I have a question: the form says that ANY SC Johnson products qualify, but then later on the form says you have to have something from the list above. Any idea if other items besides what is on the list works?

    • ~*Brook*~

I just so happened to look at this post just to see what the rebate was about. After looking back at my receipts over the past few weeks I qualified for all 3 rebates from all the Glade deals I’ve gotten! Woo Hoo!!! FREE MONEY!!
