I am in love with savingstar! So many of their coupons match the bi-lo e-coupons! I have saved almost 60$ extra since joining up with them!

Please Help!! Where I work we just started taking coupons. Knowing that I use coupons I was asked how do you know if an internet coupon has been copied. We can take printable coupons but not copies. I don’t know the answer to that. They think a coupon printed in black ink has been copied. I told them I only print my in black ink. They say that someone can print a coupon and copy it as many times as they want. So how do we know if it’s been copied. Thanks for any help!!

On a real, printed coupon, there is a watermark visible behind the savings amount. In the Dr Pepper $1 copuon you’ll see 4 Dr Pepper cans as the watermark and those won’t be there if it’s a copy.  Same thing with redplum, there is a tree/flower looking thing in the lower right corner just above the words redplum that won’t be there if it’s a copy.

I knew some had the mark but I wasn’t sure if all did. Thanks for your help.

so can i still use paper coupons along with saving star coupons?? kinda confused

      • Guest

yes, you can still use paper coupons.
You can use manufacturers coupons at the participating stores.  Saving star is kinda like getting the 2% of your purchases with CVS extrabucks. It adds up for a period of time. The difference is, is that Saving Star accumulates until you get to $5, then you can choose to deposit it to your bank account, get an Amazon gift card or  have it put to your PayPal account.

    • So, if I’m understanding this correctly, I can stack mq’s, sq’s, ecoupons and Savingstar coupons at all stores?
