With my girls I gave up picking out their clothes when they were two, and ever since then outfits that we come up with are quite unique.  Don’t get me wrong we are pretty strict with modesty and other rules, but if you want to wear an orange skirt, pink shirt, red socks, and purple coat that is cool with me.  Every now and I then I make recommendations but rarely are my suggestions followed.

With all the “uniqueness” in our house one of my girls favorite clothing sites is LittleMissMatched.com.  It’s their mission to give kids of all ages permission to express themselves, allow girls to dress girlie as long as they want, and solve the famous case of the disappearing socks.  They actually sell mismatched socks in odd numbers so there’s no pressure to always have socks that perfectly match.

They don’t just sell socks though, they sell sandals, toys, bedding and a lot more.  They actually just launched a new type of footwear called Sliderz, and they are offering you a deal to try them out. Use the code GETSLIDERZ and you’ll receive a free pair of inserts when you buy a pair of Sliderz.  There is also a code for free shipping on orders of $75 or more with the code 75FREESHIP, but you can only use one of the codes at checkout.

Before you order make sure you go through ShopAtHome, and you’ll can earn 7.5% cash back.  First time registrants at ShopAtHome will also get a $5 bonus in their account if they make a purchase (of any amount) within 30 days of registering.

ShopAtHome.com is giving away a $100 LittleMissMatched.com gift card to 2 Southern Savers readers.

    • Cwebbweaver

My 2 daughters think when I wear work pants w/ a button up, collared shirt that I’m wearing men’s clothes. They would say dress more like a girl.

    • Lindsey Lowrey

my 2 year old would tell me to add more accessories…..especially jewelry!  When I am getting ready to go somewhere she sneaks in my jewelry box and brings me 4 bracelets, 3 necklaces, and a couple pairs of ear rings.  The episode usually ends with the phrase ‘Okay-you just need one more (bracelet, necklace, earrings) Mommy!’

    • Lora

My daughter’s advice is follow the fads & don’t wear clothes that make you look bigger than you really are.

    • Mom_4_Him

    • Abc79teach

    • Elf716

I have a feeling my baby girl is going to love dressing girly because she already likes big bows and looks great in almost anything pink! She would probably tell me to brighten up my wardrobe.

    • Dstone41571

When you order you automatically get the “Girly Designer Insert Pack” free with the code GETSLIDERZ. (It doesn’t show up until you hit ORDER.) So don’t choose another design unless you want more than one pack.

    • Teach_ashlee

My son isn’t too concerned with matching.  For him it’s all about making sure  shirts are “cool,” usually meaning it has a picture of a car or truck on it.

    • Brianandashley323

My daughter tells me to not wear scrubs all the time. She wants me to wear big heels and glitter shirts. She wears some funky oufits-as funky as an 8 yr old can. Her fave right now is mismatched sox and bright blue converse.
