Today, I will be on WIS in Columbia, SC talking about ways to spruce up your Spring wardrobe on a budget! Tune in if you can, but if not, I thought I would share some ways to get a fresh new look without spending a fortune.

Springtime is great for being out in the beautiful weather, but it doesn’t hurt to have an outfit that you feel comfortable in and plays into the colors of the season. I don’t go shopping all that much, but I have noticed a few trends popping up this year. Some of the trends include:

maxi skirts and dresses
bold prints like Aztec prints
bright colors (lots of yellow this year)
cropped blazers
rose gold jewelry
statement necklaces

This is a long list of trends and while you can be on the lookout for a good deal, don’t feel pressured to spend a lot. Often times you can use pieces that you already have in your closet, plus accessories are an easy and affordable way to update your look.

You could even make a great outfit out of a basic pair of jeans and a white t-shirt! Consider wearing a mint or peach infinity scarf or necklace  (pastels are big this year too), and you have a cute outfit based on what you already have plus an affordable accessory to bring it together. You could also wear stacking bracelets in different colors, sizes and textures, instead of a statement necklace for a fresh new look with your favorite outfit as well.
