    • I am not able to get excited about the staples ad this week. With the prices having already had been cheaper elsewhere (i.e.: Walgreens had .39 binder dividers and .39 binders) or are always cheaper elsewhere (i.e.: Wal-mart and Target having .25 composition notebooks and Walmart's .15 one subject notebooks) I can't see myself stopping by Staples this week, and that makes me sad. The only thing I may go by to get are the $2 Avery binders (cause they are the color view binders which I love), but I already got the free Office Depot binders earlier in the month…

      • RobinB78

Don't forget that Staples price matches though. Just bring in the ads for the other places and they'll match them! You can also use internet printed $$/$$ q's from Office Max and Office Depot at Staples as well!!!

question…the staples multipurpose paper was 1c last week also…which i purchased…so can we do it again this week? would the rebate # be different? thank you! :)

      • leigh

It was a rebate last week – and a reward this week. So yes – as I understand it – you can do it again this week.

      • jen r

        thank you :)

    • Bridget

Has anyone tried those Rose Art washable markers? I am wondering if they are as good as the Crayola markers. If so, I think I just found the perfect use for my whopping $1 Staples rewards check I got in the mail yesterday!

      • Lisanole78

I have them and have used them with my 3yo daughter…we like them, and they wash out really well.

        • Bridget

Thanks! We will give them a try :)

    • Lisanole78

Can someone explain the “staples rewards” thing? I am going to need paper soon and am wondering if this is a good place to buy it. Does this give me $$ that I have to spend at Staples?

      • moneysaved4disney

I would like to know the difference btwn the rewards and rebate also. I understand the rebate part. Thanks.

        • Beth

Staples is so easy for rebates and rewards. all done online – nothing to mail in. a reward means you get a Staples giftcard to use at Staples. A rebate sends you a check – money.

    • Doris

When I click on “Create List” nothing happens. Anyone else having this issue. Thanks!

    • Kemccarthy

Was just in staples today looking for school supplies. Wow, they are over priced big time. Only bought a couple of things since I had a 15% off coupon but ended up at Walmart (hate this store) to get the rest. Walmart was soo much cheaper all the way around for most of the school supplies for sure. Staples wanted almost $10 for a 2' binder, where walmart was just under $4 for the same item…

      • Bridget

Were the ones at Walmart as nice? I looooove those Staples extra strong binders! I have one for my coupons that is stuffed to exploding and it is super durable.

        • Kemccarthy

They had some cheaper ones, but we got the ones that say durable on them, time will tell if they really are “durable” enough for a 7th grader

      • Guest

I generally shop at Staples for the sale items which tend to be a good deal for example my daughter prefer mechanical pencils and a couple of weeks they were 25 cents a pack. It is located on my regular path so I don't have to go out of the way. I used the 20% off coupon on a backpack and I will get the regular price back in a Staples gift card.

TEACHERS!!!! You can exceed the limits (most items up to 25) if you show your teacher ID or Teacher Rewards Card. ;o)

    • Beth

I got 2 reams of paper last week with a rebate. is this new?

      • Yes, I was wondering the same thing since last time they were $0.01 each after $4.98 easy rebate. If this is a separate rebate, then I'm getting some more paper!

        • 21st Century Staples – Paper & Ink
Don't forget to take your used ink cartridges in. They will mail you a staples check to spend at the store. Good savings

          • RobinB78

Note on turning the ink in: they no longer send a check. You have to register your Staples rewards card online now, and you print a staples coupon for the amount you've earned by turning in ink. It's now $2/per cartridge, limit of 10 per month turned in.

            • skylandteacher

Office Depot is now given $3 in rewards per ink cartridge.

      • Lrae17

I think is totally new from the rebate they offered the other week because the other made it a penny after rebate.

    • Sandra

So the paper is for REWARDS totaling 9.98 and on the chance that was all you wanted this month you wouldn't get the rewards because it didn't total 10 or more, correct? (thats what its says in fine print all over these rewards things) That's kinda lame, I just got a check for $1 from some paper rebate though so I'm confused I'm going to have to call them or something about these paper rewards things..

    • Susan

I just purchased the 2 reams of paper but no rebate form printed. Now that I am back home, I cannot find the rebate when searching for it on the staples easy rebates site. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have the rebate # I can reference? TIA
