Staples Free Business Cards

Staples is offering a coupon for 100 FREE black & white, 1-sided business cards!  These cards are normally $19.99 – a massive value for a freebie.

Even if you don’t have a need for a business card, these could be great for handing out emergency contact information.

Do you have any other creative ideas for these? You’ve got until Saturday Aug 6 to come up with something!

    • You’ll need to go to this page and click on the black and white card in the upper left corner: http://www.staplescustomprinting.com/Full-Color-Business-Cards-PickUp

    • connie

Is there shipping or anything on these?

      • It's an in-store coupon so you should just be able to pick them up.

        • Tkhall2

When do you think super doubles for Harris Teeter?

    • I use them as mommy calling cards, I put on my Mommy to (childs name) and put contact information, email, phone, cell, etc.  Great for school friends, dance, soccer all the contact info for play dates, etc.

    • Kimberlykbooker

We use these type of cards as “gift enclosure cards), drop one in so the child/person knows who it is from

    • Jill

      Thanks

    • Angela Little

With school starting up, these would make great “Play Date” cards for parents with younger children starting school. Make sure your card states who you are the parent of and hand them out to the parents of the children in your child's class for easy contact reference.

    • Catherine Taylor

What about RAOK cards?  write something like: I hope you have a wonderful day!  or a Bible verse.

    • how do we redeem this? Do we create the cards online or in store?

    • These make great “gift tags”.  Similar to another poster's suggestion for gift enclosures, I use them to attach to small gifts you give a child's teacher or another mommy friend.  Just punch a hole in one of the corners and thread ribbon or string through the hole and attach to a small gift bag or self-contained gift.  I'd use the blank backside to allow the little one to decorate or add a cute sticker, something to spruce it up.

Thanks Jenny! My dad owns his own business and they get expensive! A great gift from me for him!!

    • Tnjcent

These can make little note cards to give to folks for uplifting. Have a wonderful day or You 've made my day or something similar. You can leave them at co workers desks or slip them into your child's or husband's lunch bag. You can even put them inside B'day cards or get well cards or symphathy cards. An extra little something special!

    • Ladyasmar

I have clicked on the links but do not see the coupon. Where do you find it under Staples?

      • Do you have any type of software that blocks images on your computer? That could be why you don't see it. I have K9 web protection and often have issues like this. It's easy to disable it so I can see certain pictures I want.

    • Mary

Has anyone done this before?  Do you just design in the store and then they print them while you wait?  Can't get any information when I enter the item number/coupon codes from the coupon link on the Staples site. Lauren Reynolds and I are both asking the same question.

      • Yes I did this before when Jenny posted awhile back! You pick them up in the store when they are done. No waiting. Pick your store, then you'll see when they should be available when you order. I'm tickled to get another free set.

    • Design Girl

In the choices for “Instant Business Cards” there is an option to upload your own design or logo. You *should* be able to use a black & white photo cropped to the size of a business card (2×3.5 in.) and you can have 100 mini-photos! I haven't tried it yet (their site doesn't like to upload images from Macs) but I think I'll try to do it all in-store, so I can be sure the coupon will apply before I place the order.

    • Ashleedriggers

Im trying to think of what to do with mine… I dont need business cards…Im not a mother… Im stumped… but I really want something cute!

      • Bridget731

Ashlee – what if you just had one line inthe middle that said John & Ashlee Driggers (or whatever) and you could use them as gift card enclosures

        • Ashleedriggers

well I just figured out something cute… IM going to design {im a graphic designer} cards that say I Llove you because _________ and then I can slip them to my hubby every so often to remind him I love him or let him know I noticed something he did. or Im going to do “I love you more than _________” with the same idea!  They're gonna be super cute!  thanks yall

    • Sam

Sometimes people who sell on ebay use these with what they ship.   Trying to think of some more uses….
You could use them as tiny gift cards or greeting cards.   Tickets?
      Mini-Calendars?

I like the idea of a tiny picture – something cute I could throw in with Xmas cards.

    • Sam

Ok – I'm going to make little trading sports cards for my soccer players, if the picture thing works out :)

    • sassafras

I'm a teacher and  schedule a lot of parent conferences throughout the year. I'm going to use it like an appointment card and staple it in the kids' agendas to remind parents of their conference time.

    • Chapmannurse

Online it only gives you the option of ordering in lots of 1000 for $19.99.  How do you switch the quantity to 100, or am I doing this wrong?

    • Ssalabarria

Where do I go at online?  I am trying to find the right card and can't seem to find it.  Help please :)

    • Noodlehead

I called the Staples phone number and they said the coupon is for In-Store only.  He said you had to go to staples and have them create the cards for you!
        THAT WAS EASY!

    • Donna Rubright

We are going on a cruise and I don't want to give out my business cards.  I can give them out with both mine and my husband's name and personal email address to those I want to keep in touch with.

    • Melucy

I am a teacher and would love to have business cards for the parents for contact info.

    • Ashleemichele

I can not find the black and white ones?? can someone please help!!

    • DW in GA

Using mine to make sure the school parents have all the PTA and school phone numbers and emails handy!

    • Lisa

Went into local store today and had the cards in minutes – we are just starting a new business and ordered the free cards for it. Final cost = 0  Yippee! We can get fancy color cards after things start to go well. Thanks for the heads-up on this one.

    • Julie

Do I need a coupon for this?  I can't seem to find one.

    • kimL

I got my cards today…ordered online BUT ordered them under the full color category…there is NOT a black and white business card category…so I selected the simple black print card in the top left of the page….However, when I picked them up in store, the cards were priced at $29.99 but the cashier accepted my coupon ( with some hesitancy) but the polite young man in the copy center adjusted it and they were free.

    • Rhoadesaa

As a teacher, I'm going to use these as hall passes!  They'll already have my name on them & I'll print them w/ blanks for date, time, kiddo's name, & destination. :)

    • Lauri

I've been trying to figure this one out and haven't had any success so far.  I see all the links back to Southern Savers, but I can't seem to locate a coupon for the free cards.

I've clicked on the link Jenny posted, but that takes me directly to Staples online page and I haven't been able to locate the free cards or coupon.

Would someone mind helping out?  I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

      • Lauri

Okay….just found out that on some computers the link Jenny has provided takes you to the Staples page; however, I just used a totally different computer and clicked on the link and it took me straight to the coupon to print.

Just thought I would share this with everyone.  Have a blessed day!

    • watkins

if you guys havent figured out just click the print button and u get the coupon

    • Foxgait

The coupon said you must pick it up in the store by Aug. 6. It seems like we would have to put our order in before then. To be safe, I'm calling my local Staples to see when they say I need to put in my order.

    • Bkrmc4

As a teacher, I planned to make conference reminder cards for my parents.  My Staples would only print their “basic” business card from a preset template.  Has anyone actually had something printed that wasn't a typical business card?

      • Sostosusanna

Once you are into one of the templates, click on 'advanced editing' (right above the online proof approval button) and you can then move the text boxes around, edit them, etc. You should be able to make it say whatever you want! I asked at Staples, and they said that's fine.

I'd just like the idea of small cards
      – these can be gift tags with a monogram on top :-)
      – these could be playing cards, provided one was willing to put numbers and suits on one side
