Tomorrow, December 3rd, the daily deal (part of the 12 days of sharing) at local Starbucks stores will be Buy One Get One Free Starbucks Via 12 pk.

Many of you reported that you do not need the text message to get the deal, just walk in and buy it.

    • Pjpwillis

Hubby is a manager for Starbucks and you do not need to get the text to get the deal. You can just walk in. I haven't done it yet, but I've been told that via is great for recipes that require instant coffee.

      • Morgan

Thanks for the info! And yes, Via is great in those recipes (I made chocolate covered pretzels with some). Am I correct in assuming that the store locations do not take manu coupons for their coffee?

    • GradMSW

I got the B1G1 deal today on the Christmas blend coffee and they would not take my manu q, but they did give me a student discount so it still worked out. Also, I was not required to show the text message.

    • Ruth

I bought the Christmas blend today…they did take my manufacture's coupon, but were not very happy about it….I didn't cause a fuss….just simply asked if I could use it and the manager did let me use my Q's…..really wish they had a policy inplace that all stores followed…would make it easier for all of us that really try to follow the coupon rules at each store!! :) Thanks Jenni for all you do!! Great Christmas gifts!

I found out yesterday that the Starbucks that are in stores…like Target or Kroger have different deals than the “free standing” Starbucks stores. Starbucks in Target had buy the Christmas blend coffee and get a $10.95 travel mug free. Still not a bad deal.

    • Lolly

Yep! No texts needed! There was a big sale sign at the one in Atlanta!

I did the Christmas blend deal yesterday, no text message needed, but they only allowed me to use one Man q on 2 bags (I didn't argue). I paid abt $13 for 2 bags of coffee (not that great a deal on coffee in general, but it was for a gift basket).

However, I then went to Fresh Market to get some froofy chocolates for said gift basket and they also had the Starbucks Christmas Blend coffee there for the regular price of $10.95/bag……. so if you missed yesterday's sale and want to buy the coffee, it is cheaper at Fresh Market and you can use 1 Man q per bag. Fresh Market also had a much larger selection of bagged blends and sizes than the Starbucks store… go figure?

There was a recent $1/1 coupon that had a barista code on it that could be used in Starbucks. Their system would only allow 1 discount either the bogo or the coupons. I did stack this deal with the Starbucks rewards card though. When you buy a 1# bag of coffee you get a free tall hand crafted beverage. As the system wouldn't take my coupon he gave me another latte. Also on the bogo deal it took off the higher priced decaf ($13.95) I was able to get 1# decaf 2 8oz regular (they were out of the 1# bags) and 2 tall lattes for $12.95. I left very happy :) Not a great deal on coffee but a great deal for Starbucks.

Also, you don't need to buy 2, each one rings up half price. EXCELLENT in recipes or put a few of them in a mug and you've got great teacher gifts.
