Starbucks Rewards Deal

It’s time for another Starbucks Rewards deal that involves collecting stars.  Starbucks Reward Members can get a $5 or $10 eGift Card when you collect 10 or 20 stars respectively.

Each drink you buy will earn 1 star.  You’ll have until 5/28 to collect your stars so maybe pair up with a friend to earn extra stars (must purchase each drink separately).

To get this perk, you have to RSVP with your email address and your Rewards Card must be registered in order for you to earn stars.  Register your Starbucks Rewards Card here if you haven’t already.

Depending on how expensive your favorite drink is, this is really like spending $20-$50 to get a $5 reward. It’s a nice perk if you were going to anyway, but I wouldn’t go out of your way to earn it otherwise.

Jenny has a point about the cost effectiveness of this perk. Let’s also not forget about the calories involved. My personal motto:
I will get fat for free but if I have to pay to get fat…it is another story entirely.

How do you get a Starbucks card? I drink there all the time but I’ve never seen a card. I probably wasn’t looking either though. ;-)

Natasha, you buy a gift card from Starbucks for as little as $5 and then register the card on their website and use that card consistently, loading it up if necessary. Just by registering that card, you get a free drink on your birthday every year!
Eventually, you get to a certain level, they mail you a gold card with your name on it.

buy a gift card – use it yourself so that all your purchases are made using that card (just keep adding $ to it – a good way to limit yourself too if you just add a certain amount each month or so) – you register it online at Starbucks.com & get perks periodically.

I don’t have a Starbucks card rather I use their app. As long as I load money on the app, I get a “star” for each drink. You have to use the app/card to earn. When their are Groupon or Living Social deals, you can load the ecard credit from them to your starbucks account. It’s so easy!
