ok, I’m a little disappointed in this post. I absolutely hate the concept of multi-level marketing to friends. And, furthermore, since this site is about “saving money” lets talk about the products we’re trying to peddle to our friends…. You are basically trying to pressure the people you “love” into paying two, three, maybe four times as much as the product is worth so you can pocket some easy money. That’s promoting all the wrong things (in terms of responsible money management). People should be looking for good value, not paying 2 to 3 times what something is worth :-(

I absolutely agree with your post. I hate selling “parties” and friends taking advantage of friends.

Hey there, I completely understand where you are coming from. I have definitely seen people promote Thirty One (and similar companies) that way, but it can also be a huge blessing to families. They make great products and have great outlet sales. When promoted correctly, it can be a blessing to those selling and buying. My favorite diaper bag is a Thirty One bag. It is the perfect size and has held up extremely well. I think the parties and pushy sales can give these companies a bad reputation but you can sell these products without it being a burden to anyone.
