    • I totally read that as Starbucks and got all excited – LOL!

      • Momma2be2004

me to… I only visit starbucks twice a year, but with 60 free bucks I was gonna go more often.. lol

    • Matt

I think it's a little sleazy to post your own referral link in your own posts…

      • Pedspech

Why is that sleazy? She is letting us know about some great deals- if there is a bonus to be earned I am glad to let her get that bonus off of my sign up!

      • amanda

Real sleazy to come onto a site and take the time to comment specifically to make the author look bad. Jenny does a great job at referring us to great deals and products her audience is interested in, so why shouldn't she get any credit for it? I'm happy to click her referral links all day long if it means she has more time to keep up with all the deals! :)

      • Alison V.

she does this all for free! saves me so much money especially at the grocery! if she has found a way to get something back out of it to stretch her dollar then more power to her. b/c i sure don't have the money to pay her…do you?!

      • tara

I'd click on it twice if I could! Jenny does an amazing job here providing us with deals all day long. Don't like it? Find your own deals.

      • Allison

Sleazy? Do you even know what this word means? This woman is the real deal! She is who she says she is and doesn't hide behind some anonymous photo. I personally think she should flag your post.

      • Igot5ltlboyz

“GASP!!” Don't you dare insult Ms. Jenny!! We all love her and I pesonally have saved major bucks following her site, (which is free of charge, by the way), if she gets a bonus for us signing up under her, yay for her. Shame, shame on you. (doing the shame, shame thing with my fingers as I type).

      • Kay0716

Everyone on this site is trying to save money. Jenny is helping us all!!! So if she is getting something from it I have no problem with that. If you don't like it you don't have to sign up. But the insults we don't need!!

      • Laura

Eh, I kind of get where you're coming from. I noticed that for all the daily deal sites the link is also a referral. While I wouldn't call it sleazy, It is kind of shady. Sometimes I feel she only puts links up to try and get herself extra money to spend at these places, since the deals aren't always that great. But if she can get only 7 or so people to sign up then she'll get something for free. I realize that she does a lot to keep this site up, but its not like she's doing it for free. She sells ad space, and while I don't know how much they cost, she's still making money on the site. I think it'd be better if she had a disclaimer on these sorts of posts since technically she is getting paid to promote these sites. I think the readers have a right to know this information up front.

        • Leigh

Really?? Maybe do a little research before you become a critic. It might clear a few things up for you if you took the time to read the “Affiliate Disclosure” at the bottom of the page. Does it cost you anything? Are you losing money? Is Jenny forcing you to take advantage of an offer? NO If you have issues, go to another site. I'm sure you will soon discover the very same thing.

Wow it never ceases to amaze me how people spout off about things they know nothing about. Why do you even bother to visit a site you have issues with?

        • Ashleynmike2005

People like you make me wonder if you have nothing better to do than insult others for doing something good. Shady? I don't think so. If Jenny gets extra money to spend at these places, then so be it. I think she deserves it for all the hard work and time she puts into this website. I have saved so much money, thanks to Jenny! If you want to complain, do it somewhere else where we don't have to read it!

    • Gayle Dvorak

I can't get it to work. It won't accept the code. Any ideas?

      • Make sure there isn't a space after the code when you paste it in. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll email them and ask what's up (they sent me this last night directly so it should be working!!)

    • AuntRuth

I joined about two weeks ago and have earned 360 SBs. Today I received an email from them that I won a Swagstakes–1,000 SBs! So I'm on a roll right now. Still trying to figure out the site, though. I think searching online and taking the surveys are winners for me.

      • nc_sunshine

I joined about a wk ago, and have 129 SBs. It's not exactly easy to figure it all out — info isn't easily or readily accessible to explain all the “hidden SB codes” in the TV, blog, and other areas of the site… but I'll figure it out one day! So far, installing the toolbar, refreshing it daily, and using SB to search have been slowly adding up. I'll try the surveys next, maybe…

    • Momma2be2004

what are swagbucks and where do you redeem?

    • I posted my babyman's windswept hair. :)

    • Mjsizzle

First thankyou Jenny for all you do its helped me and my family save so much $$, second I signed up for the swagbucks and liked them on facebook can anyone tell me how to get to the gambit that they are talking about? someone said it was on my homepage but I'm not finding it. I'm new so any help would get me going in the right direction.
      Thanks again Jenny

    • kristy

There have been previous posts where Jenny has said that part of her site has been supported by people linking from her page. This site is so helpful for anyone trying to save money, and can you even imagine the time it takes to do this? Anyone who has ever tried couponing can see the time it takes to clip the coupons, get the lists together (even after they are already posted here with awesome little check the box and just print the list ease) and then actually go to the stores, so I can't imagine the time it takes to keep up with the lists, the emails, the other deals, the coupons, the responses, etc. I've seen Jenny give credit to those who have helped her or other sites she has gotten information from, and I've seen her use this site to benefit others when she could have used it for herself. Keep posting links that will help your family, Jenny. We will gladly support you in appreciation for all the help you've been for so many of us.

    • Deb_e_Cakes

I tried to enter the code and it wouldn't take it. Not sure what I did wrong. Copied it, typed it, still didn't like it.

    • Laura

Wow, you need to learn to chill out. All I said that since Jenny is getting paid for posting this, it would be good to have a disclaimer about it at the end of the post. All the other websites I frequent do the same thing, let the readers know up front that they are getting paid to get readers to click on a certain link.

I'm not really sure how this is saying that I know nothing about this. I fully realize what is going on, and I think others should be able to know this information as well. I see nothing on this post about an “affiliation disclosure” so obviously its not something she's being completely up front about. People have a right to know what the link they are clicking on is.

I am NOT saying that I am being forced to click on the link, and of course I know that I am not losing money, but still its shady.

    • Mit

Stop being so naive. Jenny is just helping herself. Do you really think she would be doing this site if she didn't get any ad revenue? If she got nothing out of it? If people stopped paying to come to her little workshops?! I doubt it. She gets paid to do this stuff. Its her job.

    • liz

Somebody isn't paying attention! The affiliate disclosure is at the bottom of every page. Scroll down to the green part, its the link that says “affiliate disclosure” The term “shady” has to do with underhandedness or legally questionable actions. Totally doesn't apply here. As for “sleazy” that word has sexual connotations. That doesn't seem to apply, either. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't coupon naked.

    • DB

I can't get the code to work either. :(

    • Alyssa

I don't have little ones yet – my husband and I just got married a year ago, but this website that Jenny has worked so hard on has already saved my family hundreds of dollars and taught me how to save. I didn't know any of this before I came to Jenny's website. Like Jenny said in her tutorial, if a company wants to give me incentives or buy my loyalty to buy their product so that I save money, I will allow them to have my business. We all get something out of using Jenny's website. It takes me hours just to make my grocery list, buy, print, and clip the coupons, and then go buy them. I can only imagine what Jenny has to go through to help us all, so I have no problem with her profiting from it. I save money whether she makes a profit from it or not, and if it helps her family, then by all means, I say let her have my loyalty and make some profit from it for her family! For those of you saying that it would be nice to have a disclaimer, she has never said this is a nonprofit website; this is a business and she's really, really good at it. Of course she would get something from all her hard work! Shame on you for not having a charitable heart. Jenny, I would just like to encourage you in the work you are doing. I know it's hard and it's disheartening when your work is not appreciated and you're criticized, but you really are doing God's work and doing a lot to help families. I will be at your workshop in Knoxville in January at my church… yes, WITH 10 dollars in hand to pay for your hard work and traveling!

      • Luv2Save

Agree 100%. Jenny is not sleazy, she is smart. I would think less of her if she didn't use her popularity of the site to be as profitable as possible. I sure love a great deal, and love it even more if someone else benefits too :-). Thank you Jenny, my family is very thankful for you. We are newlyweds, with only one income, the savings are helping us get by. Thank you!!!

      • F_spalding

Well said…Jenny your site has changed the way that I shop. With two little ones we live paycheck to paycheck, and will until they are out of daycare. Your website has saved my family hundreds in only a few months. I am very grateful for all that you do and would love to attend a workshop if you got down to northern Florida!

    • bspears51207

Got it to work. Thanks Jenny!

    • Danielle

Who cares if Jenny wouldn't do this site if she didn't get paid??? She is spending her time doing this so of course she should get paid in any way that she can. She would be absolutely silly if she didn't take advantage of that! Yes this is her job. Would you do your job if you didn't get paid? If you don't like the site, the way it's ran, the person who runs it, or anything else, STOP coming here! There are way more people who appreciate it (whether Jenny is paid or not) than those who don't. So do yourself a favor and don't come here!

    • Danielle

There is an affiliate disclaimer at the bottom of the page. If you don't like the way things are done here, then don't come here! It's not necessary to post a disclaimer in every blog. Give me a break! It's absolutely ridiculous that you would even bring up such things. Of course Jenny is getting paid. If you need a disclosure to tell you (or anyone else) so, then you (or anyone else) aren't very smart. She is spending her own time helping us save money. It's not costing you or me a thing so why would you care? If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all.

      • Laura

Like I pointed out, I already know whats going on in these posts. Saying that I'm not very smart is being a little ridiculous. And please, we're not 5 year olds on here, I'm allowed to have an opinion. If you don't like my opion, its not really my problem.

        • Danielle

Actually, you're right!!! Pointing out something so obvious like Jenny gets paid for doing this website proves that you are extremely smart! I'm glad we have people like you to point things out for us simple minded readers! And since you couldn't find the Affiliate Disclaimer at the bottom of every page proves that you're a GENIUS! The definition of opinion is a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty. In the Affiliate disclosure, she states that she gets paid. So please tell me why I wouldn't like your so-called opinion about Jenny getting paid? If you don't want a response from a ridiculous post such as yours, it's not really MY problem.

    • DB

The code will work if you use a capital “I”, like this: JoinIn2010
