Hey ladies, if you are looking for a Valentine’s day gift, check out Tanga’s deal on titanium rings.  They have several different types and are all priced at $8.98 shipped.  These are high quality rings that Tanga is able to get at a huge discount.

Titanium rings don’t tarnish or dent, but they are susceptible to scratches (that can easily be buffed out).  A family friend has a titanium wedding band and really enjoys it.

Are these real?  How are they so cheap??!

      • Guest

Titanium is not a rare or precious metal, it is readily available to those who want to use it in any industry. Most of the cost in making a titanium ring is in the skilled labor to craft the ring from such a hard metal. All of our titanium wedding rings are made from high grade aircraft titanium to provide our customers the highest quality. Titanium rings are constructed from solid bars of titanium, which results in a perfectly seamless ring. Titanium will not irritate or discolor your skin and will not harm the body in any way. Titanium is used in the medical and dental fields in surgical implants, bone screws, hip replacements, heart valves and more. Titanium rings are superior in durability to precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum (as you might guess from its uses in the aerospace and medical fields). A Titanium ring may long outlive the wearer.

I bought two! I hope my hubby likes this. I had bought him a titanium ring when we got married and then he had a door shut on his finger and its busted the off design that was around his ring.

      • Jeepchic05

These prices are just a little cheaper than cost.

Jenny, what a HUGE blessing…My husband just mentioned that he needs a new wedding ring, just for work, since his gets banged around all the time.  He will be SO excited when he gets this for V-Day ; )  Thank you SO much for sharing.  This just made my day!

    • Mea

Awesome! We were just looking at these rings at Sam’s Club and DH was on the fence about the price- now he’s got a new wedding ring after loosing the old one!

    • Ali_gator82

can I measure my husband’s current wedding ring to figure out his ring size? He is deployed and coming home soon and this would be a great gift.  Can I get it inscribed somewhere do you think?

      • Jeepchic05

As long as the widths of the rings are about the same that should work. (The wider the ring, the tighter the fit) Many places can engrave titanium, just ask. Make sure they know what they’re doing, because if too much pressure if applied to this metal it can bend out of shape.

    • Disneytink05

You can lookin up a chart online ans size it if you have the ring I believe.

      • Ali-gator82

ok will try to do tonight after kiddos go to bed!

        • Disneytink05

Ya,I googled a size chart and printed it out and matched it up and ordered it!

        • Ali_gator82

    • Kat

This was GREAT thank you! Valentine’s day is done for me now!

    • Mpw3k

how long will this deal run for?

      • Jeepchic05

Their deals like this normally run until they are sold out. You can go to the main page, and click on the ‘Second Chance Deals’ tab, and there are over 40 different styles to choose from. They seem to always have great deals like this :)

    • Leny

I’ve looked at the ring and I’ve seen the Brushed and Polished finish.  Which is one is better?  I can’t decide which one looks expensive and elegant..:)Thanks!

      • Jeepchic05

I like the polished finish, it really does have a nice shine to it. This metal is durable but does scratch fairly easily. With the polished finish you can buff and polish the scratches out to an extent, however with the brushed finish you can’t.

        • Leny

Thank you so much!  I’ve ordered the polished finish…:)

I hate to be a bummer but please be very careful with titanium rings. I work in a busy ER and have seen enough to never buy one. They cannot be cut off with a normal ring cutter that most ERs have. Therefore, if you sustain any type of injury that results in swelling, it can be very dangerous. Sorry, just felt I needed to share.

      • Jeepchic05

Maybe you guys should check into a motorized ring cutting tool. I’ve cut 3 or 4 rings off with a jeweler’s tool that looks just like a bolt cutter, and have had no issues. It took anywhere from 5-15 minutes, just depending on the ring and the situation.
