See everything you can get at Target for less than $5!

Yesterday I spent the afternoon in Target with a local news anchor teaching her about all the savings apps and ways to save there.  In our shopping/teaching time I decided to see exactly what I could get for less than $5 this week!  There are so many awesome deals in both the weekly ad list and the unadvertised list that it wasn’t hard at all to do.

I did go into the store with a $5 gift card from a past weeks deals.  I encourage you to use these like you would a drugstore reward and save them for the next gift card deal you buy in Target.  That way you aren’t ever paying out of pocket for them.

Get Back: $5 Target Gift Card!

In the end I spent $4.85 and left with another $5 Target gift card to use on my next trip.  These were all deals in the Target deals lists on Southern Savers, and I will say there were other free deals I could have added to this but either had already used the coupons on previous sales or ran out of time.  It’s a fun moment when you leave a grocery store with that much stuff and paid basically nothing for it!!

how did you earn the second 5 dollar gift card?

      • CouponingMom4life

When you buy 3 Carefree products listed in the ad…..you get a $5 gift card.

        • Ainsley

Is that part of the Unilever deal? The only gift card deal I saw in the ad and on the list said you must buy 4 products

I noticed that too as I was just printing them out. I was wondering the same thing, if the cashier wasn’t paying attention or?

the axe coupon clearly states limit of 2 identical coupons per transaction, should not be able to use 3.

These are awesome, but I have to say getting these deal “packages” is getting harder and harder for those of use with texting and without smart phones. I wish stores offered alternative ways to get those coupons. I can’t afford the extra fees for texting, etc- that’s why I coupon!

      • Kristen

You can print out the Cartwheel deals from target . I have and they scan my paper that has the barcode.

        • mariajs

Oh yes, I do that. I can’t get the mobile coupons though. That was more of a general comment, I love that Target lets us print the barcode. I wish Earth Fare and others would follow suit. I miss out on Ibotta’s too, which stinks.

I don’t have a smartphone either but what I have done is to text a friend the mobile coupon link that has a smart phone and have them email the link, I got to the link and print out the bar code

            • mariajs

ah, I did not know you could do that! Awesome!

I noticed the coupon for the Axe says only two per shopping trip, did the cashier not notice or didn’t care?

    • Lauren Wickersheim

My cashier only let me use one Axe coupon! Still not an awful deal but not what I went in for. :(
