The gift card deal says the bags have to be the 16 pound size. Does anyone know if the 8 pound size will also work?

I got the 8lb size but the price was $11.39 not 9.77. It was clearly displayed that way. But I used the coupons with no trouble and I did get the $5 gift card.

That is what I saw too. I am curious.
