These were not prompting a gift card at my target and there were no signs hanging by Nivea BW. :(

    • nina21007

The first deal idea…is it supposed to be Dove or Degree? :-)

      • Sharon Denise Pline

its degree. My redplum is only .75 cents off though

    • Stephanie A

If you have additional coupons, can you roll the gift cards into the same deal? Like if I decide to make deal#1 twice or three times, can I roll the gift card into the other transactions so I won’t owe anything?

      • Jess

I don’t see why not bc the computer doesn’t know that u got the $5 gift card from that scenario. It just recognizes that you are paying with a $5 gc

      • traci0322

You can, but sometimes the gift card needs 5-10 minutes to authenticate. It’s better to wait a little while in between transactions if you want to use the cards immediately.

I was at Target this morning. Price for deodorant not $2.49 but $3.30. Nivea body was was advertised on the shelf as $2.78 and buy 3 get $5 gift card, so I bought 6 with 3 3/2 coupons. They did not ring up right (3.59) and didn’t prompt the 2 $5 giftcards. The manager went to check, saw the sign and adjusted my receipt, so I had a $2.32 MM.

I posted this on another site, but since I frequent both just as often, I wanted to share my experience.

The first time I went to Target, I saw $3.59 on the Nivea bodywash. I went back and did find the price to be $2.69, but only for the scent Maximum Hydration. I bought 6, remembering what a lady on another site went through, decided to take a picture of the item on their shelf. It clearly does not include Nivea if you read the tag (I have the pic if anyone knows how to upload pics), but nonetheless it is attached to the product. I checked out, also getting three packs of pasta from another deal and a shipping box. Gave the coupons and cartwheel and the total was $11 something. I mentioned to the cashier about the gift cards. He scanned one of the Nivea’s and said I was wrong, and Nivea was not a part of the deal. I then showed the picture I took and he called the CSM over, who said to ring up two bottles as $0.19 each…taking off $5. Then the cashier said the total was $6 something. I then asked about the other $5. So he did the same again…grand total of $1.16. I can live with that. I’m in upstate SC.

The post title is a bit misleading. Scenario 1 makes it $0.97 for the deodorants. Cheap, but not free!

      • jenjav

believe 5.97 a typo, total should read 4.97, 3 deordarants at 2.49 each is 7.47 minus $2.50 in coupons equals 4.97 so free after $5 gift card
