I have a question. What is the most you will pay for the Green Giant Valley fresh steamers? What is the lowest price that you have gotten them for. We know that you love these. Just wanted to have an idea so I don’t spend too much on them. Thanks in advance.

      • Jenny

        Angela,

My max for GG Steamers is Nothing to maybe 25 cents. They will go that low if you are okay with waiting for it :). 66 cents at Ingles this week isn’t too bad though.

    • JessC

I tried to use coupons from this site a couple weeks ago and was told by a very intimidating manager (he looked like a bouncer!) that any coupons printed from sites OTHER THAN Target, are FRAUDULENT! Completely embarassed me. I’m not out to cheat anyone or any store, I’m just trying stretch my dollars!

And if this is true, I guess I’ll be passing on these deals.

    • Angela ang

Could you buy 10 and do the fuel for school rebate? My target allows multiple coupons in one transaction.

    • Aymie

      I did this on Saturday!!!
Except the coupons for Purina one is $3 not $2…
I got 9 bags for FREE I just paid tax!!

Also, there is a bogo Target and a bogo manu coupon for Chef Michaels along with the other deal…

    • JessC, I have used coupons from this and other sites and never had a problem. Last week I did some of the dog food deals ($20) and only paid $1.34! That included tax and 2 pairs of Halloween socks! I had never stacked coupons from Target before. The Target coupons are from Targets website. Plus manufacturer coupons. I went again on Sat. different cashier and had no problem again. They didn’t bat an eye. I would try again/or ask to see the manager. Don’t let one person discourage you. One cashier at a Rite Aid has done that to me-I just go to another. check out my target deal

I shopped at the Carrollton, GA Target yesterday. I found Skintamates shave gel for $1.89 and Noxema Bikini Shave wands for $1.59. There are $1 q’s for each of these. Also on an end cap between the food pantry and drug area there were many sample size items marked down. One example is Hefty 5ct. “travel approved” baggies for .32. I doubt that a coupon could be used to get it free with overage. The computer usually beeps on overages. I bought two shave gels, one pack of razors, and two 12ct poptarts and paid $4.

    • Sarah

This will be my first time stacking at Target. Is it like Publix where you can not have more coupons than items, or will the register allow two coupons and only one item bought?

    • Freedom

I have never had a problem at target stacking coupons. And they will take 2 coupons for each item-1 target and 1 manuf. You do not have to have the same # of items as coupons. HTH

    • Sarah

      Thanks!

    • Heather

Can someone help me with this one. I want to get this deal, but I am just not understanding it.

      Pop Tarts 12ct $2 ea FOR 2 = $4 TOTAL
-$1/2 Pop Tarts printable (Target)MAKES IT $3 TOTAL
-$1/2 Pop Tarts RP 9/13 MAKES IT $2 TOTAL
-.55/1 Pop Tarts RP 9/13 USING 2 WOULD MAKE IT $1.90 TOTAL
Buy 2, use manufactur and store coupon makes it .50¢ ea

So would that not be either $1 each or $0.95 each?

I think I am just not understanding it.

      • Laura

You’re correct, Heather. The boxes wind up being $1.00 each, not 50¢ each. But we’re talking about 12 count boxes though, so that’s still a great deal – like getting the smaller boxes for 50¢ each. I bought 4 of the 12 packs. :)

    • Ashley in FL

Thanks for the pet deals! This is a great opportunity to buy food and bring it to a shelter or the Humane Society. :)

    • Heads-up- the Chef Michaels’ coupon from the paper expire today!

    • Charlotte in SC

Is anyone talking about the Target in the Citadel mall in Charleston?

    • ashley

everytime I have tried to buy 2 items and use BOGO coupons, the cashiers tell me know. CAn someone please explain to me how this is able to work?
      Thanks!

    • Susan

I bought the following this morning and didn’t have any problems stacking the Q’s:

      (3) Chef Micheal’s Dog Food small Bag $4.26 (on sale this week)
      (6) Chef Micheal’s Wet Dog Food cans reg. price ($0.84)
1 pack of Bic Markers ($2.99)

      Used:
      (3) $1.50 off Chef Micheal’s printable (Target)
      (3) $3 off Chef Micheal’s RP 8/23 **Expires TODAY!!
      (3) B1G1 Chef Micheal’s Cans printable (Target)
      (1) B1G1 Chef Micheal’s cans RP 8/23
      (1) $2.50 off bag of B2G2 cans (printable here: http://www.chef-michaels.com/coupon/

Total with tax: $3.55 (TN tax is 9.25% so I had overage from the dry food)

I also bought some last night (1 bag dry, 8 cans) and used 2 printable Q’s for 8 cans. The cashier took the whole $2.50 off for each printable instead of $1.68 for two cans of the wet food – that made even more overage! Again no problems at checkout.

    • Lynda

      Heather #12

I used Target printable $1 off two and Manu.Q $1 off two. Bought two 12ct. boxes and they were $1 each. Really good price for 12ct.

    • Sarah

ashley#16- if you are buying two items under the BOGO sale, they aren’t going to let you use two manufacturer coupons that say buy one get one free. BUT, you can stack it with a store coupon, like a target coupon, that says the same thing. So if you have the cat food BOGO from the paper stack it with the printable target coupon and the cashier shouldnt have a problem. I did this deal today, for the fancy feast cat food appetizers and the cashier did have to push the store coupon through, but she did with no questions asked. On my way to the register I passed one of the floor managers explaining to a customer how to maximize her savings by stacking store and manufacturer coupons. I love target.

Our Target has some clearance school supplies behind the Halloween decoration. I got spiral notebooks for .12 and school scissors for .35!!

    • Kristi

I cannot find the manuf. q’s in the RP for the poptarts. I am in Chattanooga, Tn and I have looked through both of them, can someone help me find them???

    • Alicia

Just saw Ortega taco shells on clearance at Summerville, SC target for $1.25. I know that there are Ortega coupons out there, just can’t remember what they are!

    • ashley

Sarah#16 – Thank you so much. That clears it up completely! I appreciate the tips!

    • russell

if youre in the greenville sc area, and can take advantage of Blooms triple coupons, pop tarts will be 2 cents per box with .55 coupon this wednesday

    • Kelley

The Target coupons say one per transaction. If I’m going to buy more than 2 boxes do I need to split it up over several transactions? Anyone have experience with that? I’ve not used Target store coupons before. thanks!

    • dee

kelley it depends on cashier but most will push the target coupons through all at once and not make you do sep. transactions my target coupons dont scan so they have to push them anyhow good luck

    • dee

i got the 4 pack spiral notebooks at fl target saturday for .15 cents i didnt need them but of course for that price i bought them.
also at the coppertone website you can print $5.oo off coupons which i used on the dollar bin coppertones making a $4.00 profit per coupon and you can print at least 6 cus thats what i printed
      good luck dee

    • Mina

LOL Yeah, Target has been wonderful at keeping us stocked in breakfast items and pet food over the past weeks. There aren’t any of the $5 GC deals that are great for me this week, but what I’ve been doing is hanging on to my card from each super deal and using that to cover the majority of the cost of a following GC grocery deal. I find that SO much less stressful than the drugstore RR’s and ECB’s because the GC’s don’t expire. There’s no rushing out to “use them or lose them”.

I also like them because since there are a limited number of deals in any week and they are so straightforward that it’s quick and easy to just look at their upcoming ad and checkout the coupon databases to get a handle on the best buys myself. It’s nice having one store with clear deals that I don’t have to spend so much time reading a pile of forums and blogs to shop successfully. (Not that I don’t ENJOY the forums and blogs. I just spend too much time actually READING them.) Also, unlike the local drug chains, Target tends to have the items in stock that I go there to buy.

Susan, thank you for the link. I used all of my insert q’s a week ago. I know just the person who would appreciate the gift of a couple of small bags.

JessC – It sounds like you have a cranky manager who has more things on his mind than learning to understand Target q’s. If I question the validity of any coupon, HCW is where I turn to check it out. The owners of that site are very serious about only allowing legitimate printables. I feel secure that they would not be sponsoring that generator if they felt at all uncomfortable with the legitimacy of the coupons. I hope you have another, more friendly, Target near you.

    • Jessica

I tried to get the Pedigree dog food today in the Cool Springs/Franklin, TN, store with no luck. They said they were not allowed to stack a manu Q with a Target Q.

      • Jessica

Just called Corporate, who says the store was wrong. Each item can have a Target AND a manu Q applied.

      • Laura

My Target has signs in frot of the registers that states that you can use a Target Q + a Man Q for items. I don’t know what your store was trying to pull!

    • Tarrah R.

      I’m sad that I missed the chef Michael’s :(
Good thing my pups aren’t picky- It’ll have to be Purina One for them yet again! LOL

    • Meghan

I just stopped by Target and the Purina One dog food was $9.49. Did I miss the sale?

    • There’s only one problem with the dog/cat food deals. the dog food and cat food coupons say directly on them that they cannot be combined with another coupon. (the mf coupon not the store one)
So it’s best not to use both since it would be bad for the target store and makes us look bad. Of course I didn’t see this till today when I was prepping to go. We’re going to wait since we don’t need the food right now. Stocked up from a few weeks ago ans was just going to stock up a few more bags.
Hubby works for a company that makes the software that cash registers run so he usually can spot these things and make sure we’re legal with our coupon use-age.
It seems to me the Manufacturers are getting wise to our tricks and making it even harder to get a good deal!
