What area is included in the Olay Total effects body wash? Athens, GA is not.

      • jenn

I was just there tonight. :( Too bad.

      • irisfaith

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but did you check the end caps close to the pharmacy? That's where I usually find the Olay body washes when they're cheap.
I can always tell where the SS matchups are/were at the Athens Target by the big gaping holes on the shelves. lol Haven't been able to talk myself into going in months!

    • Lucy

Glade Fabric & Air Odor Eliminator $3.49

Price match this to the CVS ad — it's $2.50 at CVS this week. Use the $2.00 Target printable and the $1.00 manufacturer's coupon for free (and possibly overage) Glade Fabric & Air.

      • deniseCLT

this might be a dumb question, but how do you price match? i mean, do you just go up to customer service before you shop and show them the ad to make sure they'll honor it? or do you have to check out at customer service? or can you just show it to the cashier?

        • guest

You don't have to do it before you shop. I think they will honor any store ad in your area. When you check out show the cashier the ad when you give her your coupons to see if she'll price-match right them. They will probably ring your coupons all up and not take off the price difference for the match in the line though. They will probably send you to guest services after your purchase and guest services will refund you the difference.

    • Susan

I've never used coupons at Target before. Can I buy 6 things of Bertoli dinners and get 2 of the 5 dollar gift cards or is there a limit of 1 gift card per person? I didn't see a limit listed in the print ad.

      • vgwagoner

yes! some folks split it up so their oop is less, but you can do it all in one transaction.

      • Kaylabug19

Why is is that I click on a coupon posted — i.e. Target —- from you —- it says 'printable' but then it takes me to every other coupon BUT the one I want?

      • That coupon may not be available in your area. Try putting in different postal codes. I usually try 30303 and 90210 if I don't see the coupon I want. Hope that helps.

I'm in Tallahassee of Florida. I have never had bad experience in Target before. But last night it was terrible. When I was trying to use $1 Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaning product manufacture coupon on a toilet gel cleaner, a target coupon for FREE Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Brush refills with purchase of the toilet gel cleaner on the refill, a buy one Scrubbing Bubbles toilet cleaning gel get a Fresh Brush 2-in-1 Starter for FREE on the brush, the machine didn't let the casher take all of three even I purchased three items. She called a younger girl to help her and the gilr said that I could not do it because I had to buy two gel cleanings in order to use the two FREE coupons on the starter and refill. So I gave up. Then I checked out two bottles of Air Wick Aqua Mist and gave the casher a BOGO coupon that was expired yesterday and a $1 coupon. But the machine didn't allow her to take them either and the younger girl said I could only use one coupon on one item. I explained that I had two items of which used the BOGO coupon and the other $1 coupon was for the one that I was paying for full price. She insisted that I can only use either one coupon but not both. Then I asked for the manager to come over. I guess the manager is shifting every week or every day. A another very young girl came up and said the same thing. The explanation sound like they didn't know how coupons worked (I really wanted to call them idiots). They looked at me as if I was trying to steal something from the store. It was very unfriendly and unhappy situation. I totally couldn't understand why this didn't work out since I had stacked BOGO coupon with $1 single coupon in any other stores (walgreen, CVS, Publix, Winndex, etc)and even in Target last week and never had problem. The only thing different was that the manager and casher were different last week. I guess that they may become relunctant to accept coupons since more and more people are using coupon to save money especially in my area that a lot women are stay-at-home mom so have time and energy to do couponing. I guess I would send an email to Target headquarter to complain their unstable policy. It was very later and since the Air Wick Aqua Mist is on sale for $1.99 this week. If I could use both BOGO and $1 coupons it will make $0.49 for each which is a very good deal. My BOGO coupon was expired on 6/27 which means I had to use it or lose it. So I drove down ten miles to another Target store which I didn't have problems before. Unfortunately I didn't know that they close at 9 PM on Sunday until I saw all workers were walking out when I got there. Suddenly I remembered that a Winn Dixie store was nearby and they are selling Air Wick Aqua Mist at $2.50 and they are closed at 11 PM. So I hurried there, and the good thing was both coupons were taken and the BOGO coupon was even taked off $3.49 which was the normal price without Winn Dixie card! So I paid $.51 for both! They also had Rubmaid on sale for BOGO, I bought two and used two $1 coupons! I felt like Winndex is much more friendly. They even let you to use self-checkout machine. That way it's easy for me to see if coupons are taken when I check out. The only bad thing is that they don't have a lot on sales.

      • shelleyschu

I have not had as bad an experience as “Z” but similar. I will buy spot things at Target but go to the Publix across the street which will honor their competitor coupons. My Target doesn't seem to welcome couponers very much either. I am in West Cobb, GA (Atlanta area).

        • Zjqtcj

Exactly. I like Publix the best even though some stores may not seem to be as friendly as others. I choose to go to those publix stores which have nicer and more patient cashers. Same thing for Walgreens. Most Walgreens stores are hard to deal with. There is one even refuses to use any internet coupons and another one that the manager would always comes over and stares at you seriously when checking the coupons! Fortunately there are two stores which have nicer cashers in my area.

      • RobinB78

Hi! I wrote a reply to you, but apparently forgot to hit “reply” and just commented a new one instead… look above your post for my “reply” LOL

      • Anon

Hopefully no one thinks I'm trying to be contentious here, but I honestly don't understand stacking BOGO coupons with other coupons. To use a BOGO coupon, you HAVE to buy two items, which means that one coupon is covering both the items you bought. The way I understand that, it's just like using a coupon for $1.00 off 2 items, in which you HAVE to buy 2 things to use the coupon. The way I understand it in my head, the coupon is “covering” both the “buy one” and the “get one”, and even though one is full price and one is free, the coupon is “attached” to both items? If that's the case, how can you use another coupon on those two items? Can someone help me understand that?

        • Zjqtcj

My understanding is that BOGO is used to get the second one for totally free. The first one is charged at a full price. Therefore, the $1 (or another single amount) should be applied to reduce the price for the first one by that amount. Publix, CVS, and even the notorious Walgreens will accept them. Some would even accept a BOGO and a $1/2 (buy 2 take one dollar off) which is a little bit odd. But at least it is good for buyers. If I am wrong, I'd like Jenny to help explain. Thanks.

        • gracie1

The cents off coupon is to purchase one item, which would be true whether or not you buy a second. The BOGO coupon is like cents off for the second item. Using round numbers, if you had a 25 cent coupon off an item that costs $1, then item number one will cost 75 cents. Then your BOGO coupon is a $1 coupon (the cashier enters the amount), with which you purchase the second item.

        • Quilterwoman1974

that's my understanding of the process also

      • Shopper

So sorry about your problems at Target. It is very frustrating when you spend time organizing coupons and you can't use them!!

    • RobinB78

Ooops- meant to hit reply- this is supposed to be in reply to Zjptcj :-)

I didn't have any problems with using both the AirWick BOGO and the $1/1 q's together. I did that and got a total of 4 of them for the price of 1 on sale. :-)

For the Scrubbing Bubbles one though, I think the cashier was right. You were trying to stack 3 coupons on the one item, the gel. You probably could have gotten the 2 freebies and just forgot about the $1 off. Since when the register processes the free items, it won't take the $1 off of them anymore since it's seeing it as $0 for those items. So essentially, all the computer sees is the Gel, and you can only use one Target Q plus one manufacturer's Q per item. Like I said, I would have not bothered with the $1 off coupon.

      Hope it helps.

    • Megortiz63

The Woodstock GA Target had Eggo products on temporary price reduction yesterday to $1.75. I used the Mfr $1/2 and two Target $1/1 to get two boxes at .25 each!!

    • Zjqtcj

Thanks. But the problem was that they couldn't use both BOGO coupons, not the $1 coupon. I guess since she scanned the $1 first and thus only one BOGO coupon could be taken. Next time I will try to use only two BOGO coupons to see if it works. Actually the reason that I did that was because no CVS or Walgreen stores in my town carry the refills. Otherwise, I can use BOGO coupon to buy gel and refills in CVS this week or could have done than in Walgreen last week. Are there any of you had a chance to buy the gel and refills in CVS or Walgreens?

    • Rachel797

Is anyone else having trouble with Target price matching? I had a cashier last night insist that an ad match had to be done at the service desk. He refused to even ask for help on my request. I used to work for the company and know that they wouldn't make a “guest” go to the service desk for a $0.23 price adjustment!!!

      • SandraE

they used to match prices, but then they stopped. Just recently they have begun doing it again at Target, but I've been told also it must be done at service desk… makes it difficult if you have a Target coupon, because they reduce the base price of the item on your receipts so it looks like it's cheaper than it is….very confusing and not worth the time if you ask me

    • Shushawnna

Dove go fresh in the freebie section is expired(5/31)
Satin Care Shave Gel coupon in the PG 6/6 is only $55. in my paper.

      Anyone else experience this?
The benedryl itch relief sticks are always 2.44 at Walmart just in case Target doesnt have them.

      • Ckfourth

Yes, I live in Atlanta and my Satin Care Coupon is only for 55 cents. Bummer. Oh well, lots of other good buys!

      • Laura E.

I have the P&G 6/6 from 3 different cities (Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, and Columbia, SC) and they all have the $.55 Q.

    • Sharon

Today at lunch I grabbed my Publix add and took it to Target to nab the Bertolli Frozen Meals deal and price match it to Publix's. I too was told the Service Desk is the only place I may do price matches, so at the Service Desk I was told they could price match Publix (2 for 10) deal OR buy Target's deal. (Buy 3 get $5 gift card) I could NOT match Publix price AND get Target's gift cards. The cashier went ahead and tried to do both for me (she was very kind) but the register would not allow so I bought Target's price used 4 $1off coupons and got Target's $5 dollar gift card.

    • Stephanie in Bham

Anyone have a zip for the Target Eggo Waffles? Thanks

    • shelley

For the Huggies swimmers diapers: If you price match, can you only use one coupon? Or can you use both the man. and target q along with price matching?

      • Laura E.

According to Target's coupon/price matching policy on their website, they should price match and let you use both Qs.

    • Amy

Great trip to Target today!I bought 2 Scrubbing Bubbles Extend a Clean (one for me and one for my mom), 2 travel size Axe deos, and one 80 ct Glad trash bags. I had 2 $5 q's and 2 $3 store q's for the S.B, which gave me a $2 overage to come off the Glad, 2- $1 q's for the deos, and a $.55 q for the Glad. Total was $4.87, which is less than I would have paid for the Glad. (We have one left so I had to buy them anyway.)

    • Sistagirl61

Went to Harris Teeter yesterday. They have Heinz 57 sauce (2 for 5.00). There is a $2.00 off coupon in yesterday's SS coupon insert. If you have two, they are 50 cents each!!

    • Couponcrazy88

when i go to print a coupon sometimes its says limit is reached but i never printed any… is that because it thinks i have already printed them or they only allow so many to be printed. if the latter is the case then why does it still show it and let you “clip” it?

    • Laura E.

According to Target's coupon/price matching policy on their website, they will price match, accept a manufacturer's coupon, and a Target coupon on the item. Here's what it says:

Combining both a Target and Manufacturer Coupons:
The Target coupon will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor's price. Once the price match is made the manufacturer coupon will be applied.

I went last night to the Target in Hiram, GA and found the Gulden's Spicy Brown Mustard on Price Cut for $1.07 so I used the BOGO coupon (that expires tomorrow 6/30) and got 2 mustards for a little over a dollar. The Eggos were still on price cut for $1.75 if you nabbed that coupon. But I too had a big ordeal trying to get the Scrubbing Bubbles stuff so I left it all there and will try a nicer, friendlier Target today.

    • Zjqtcj

Believe or not, yesterday I went to another Target store to give a try for the three Scrubbing Bubble stuffs that I was refused to use all three coupons (one $1, one BOGO manufacture coupon and one BOGO Target coupon )the day before in a different Target store. Guess what, the cashier didn't have any problems or questions on the coupons. Since I wanted to prove which coupon potentially had problem on the other day, I gave her the BOGO manufacture coupon first, and it beeped, then a manager came up and authorized it. Later I gave her the BOGO Target coupon and the machine took it by itself. So was the $1 coupon. Compared to two totally different experiences, I am really confused, is it the store's right to accept or not accept the coupons, and even they can adjust the machine not to take some coupons? I have such kind of feeling based on my experience in other stores too.

    • Jennifer

Attention Mall of Georgia Target shoppers. If you were there this morning around noon, you probably saw me lose my cool. Apparently “too many people have made problems with coupons,” and my cashier all but accused me of stealing. It was A NIGHTMARE and I held my cool for a LONNNNG TIME. But when my one-year-old started crying and my 3-year-old wanted to go (rightfully so! It was a ten-minute checkout experience!!) I left ALL OF MY STUFF at the register, got back (almost) all my coupons, and left! The short version of the story is that the cashier started sorting my coupons — which HAD been organized by item — into what she THOUGHT would/would not ring correctly. This is before she even tried them! Then she couldn't properly match items up and accused me of having too many coupons for one item — which was absolutely not true, but the items and coupons were in such disarray that it because an impossible mess.

ANYWAY — be forewarned if you shop at this Target, expect a big hassle if you have a big couponing trip to make.

(and yes, I was also trying to do the scrubbing bubbles deals … but that was the least of my issues!)

      • Zjqtcj

I'm totally on your side. Some cashiers do not know their on sale items and even do not understand how coupons work. I heard one young cashier in Walgreens said that she was nervous when she saw me because she hate to do coupons. That hurt me a lot and I had not been to that store for a long time. But I'm surprised that she has been trained pretty well and is very friendly now during my recent visit. I guess the corporation or stores should pay attention to train their employees better they allow people to use coupons!

      • Savemoneysam

I had a manager tell me I couldn't use half my coupons when I was manuf. and Target coupon doubling, luckily for me she only gave me a snotty grunt after I explained (very calmly) that their coupon policy (I pointed to the REALLY BIG SIGN next to the register) did in fact allow it. I'm done doing Target deals anyways, the Target here in Hampton, VA, is always way more expensive than the prices listed here. I thought I would give the Olay a shot a couple weeks ago and ended up paying $1.50 a bottle. I hate the stuff, it's so thick it doesn't rinse off and it clogs/destroys my razor! I could have purchased something that I actually like from St. Ives for less than what I paid after Qs for the Olay :/ Live and learn!

    • Christie

Got a great deal on the Bertolli frozen meals today at Target. I bought 3 at $5.89 each. I used a $3 off 2 Q and a $1 off 1 Q. I got a $5 gift card back. Then I went to guest services and got $2.67 in cash back for price matching with the current Publix ad. Three meals for $6.00. Sweet! I'm so thankful that my Target has awesome cashiers that so far have never given me any hassles with my coupons.

    • Coupons28054

Went today and used my 2 coupons on the olay total effects and ivory soap, also got a coupon in the mail for a free bottle of suave shampoo or conditioner, at the check out I only owed .79 cents on a $12.00 purchase.. yay

Just FYI-my Target won't price match any ad that specifies 'with card' like CVS and Winn Dixie's ads always do. This is in Mobile, Al.

Target in Anderson SC has the huggies blue jean version (the big box) for 16.98 paired with a MQ for $3.00 off and a Target Q for $3.50 off when you also buy wipes, makes a good deal on diapers :)

    • Danielle

I just talked to guest services at my target in Clermont, FL. They do not accept price matching on special promotions, such as receiving a gift card for buying a certain number of items. For example, the Bertolli frozen meal deal at the very top, they will not price match with publix for that. Bummer!

    • Caroline

Target in Charleston had Olay total effects body wash 8.4oz for 4.79. I thought I'd like to try it for .79 (with a $4 off q) so I grabbed 2. I also grabbed 10 bars of Ivory soap at 3.79, with a q that said free up to $3 wyb the body wash, also grabbed 24 oz Ivory body wash at 3.29 with same q. All the q's went through no problem and the q's for the freebies took off the full price for each, 3.79 and 3.29, so I only paid $1.58 for all 4. I love it when I decide to spend a little more than usual, and it ends up turning out the opposite!

    • Hillwood9

Target has a limited time special on Heinz Ketchup for $1 for the large bottle! I dont' think there are any coupons for it but still a great deal for a $1.

Not sure if it's been reported, but my Target in NC had the boxes of Pampers wipes at a cheaper than advertised price of $10.59. Pretty cheap when I paired it with my $2 off Q from P&G. I have a 3 month old so I got 2 boxes which compared to the amnt of wipes we've used in the last 2 months should last until he's 6/7 months old

Had a great trip today :-)

I didn't see it listed here but Target has Clorox Bleach on sale 3 for $5 or $1.66 each. You can also print a coupon online for buy one Clorox product and get one free. So, I got two today for $1.66. Pretty good deal!

    • Bridget072809

Hey I'm kind of new to this and was wondering how this scenario would work. I read the target coupon policy and it sounded like they don't allow overage at all and they just make the coupon lower to fit the price of the product. Is that true? With this scenario if it allows overage I would have to buy something else.

      Buy:
      (2) Crystal Light 10 ct. $1.97
      (2) Reach dental floss $0.97
      (4) Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayer Starter $6.99

      Use:
      (2) -1.00 crystal light cpn
      (2) -1.00 reach cpn
      (4) -3.00 scrubbing bubbles str cpn
      (4) -5.00 scrubbing bubbles cpn

      OOP: 1.94???

      • 3monkeysmom

On my last trip to Target, I had overage from a few items, but I was also buying other items, that would basically “eat up” that overage, so they never blinked an eye at my coupons. It looks like you will have $2.16 in overage if my math is correct. Maybe try buying something that costs anything over $2.16 and see what happens….and then if they do adjust your coupons down, you can just void off that extra item and then your OOP would be the $1.94.
Unfortunately the individual stores seem to interpret the coupon policy differently. What works in one store may not in another. I have trouble from one Target but at the other, I've never had an issue….not sure if it's b/c the troublesome one is not a SuperTarget and the *nice* one is.
        Good luck :-)

On the Pampers diapers – I took an ad in from Rite Aid that has the same diapers for $19.99. They priced matched the diapers, AND i used my coupons, AND I got the $10 gift card. At first they seemed iffy, but I explained that teir policy says they price match, and this is not the same as coupons. So they happily did it!! Each box was around $12 and I got te $10 gift card. So about 7 bucks for the giant size of Pampers Cruisers!!!
