Firefox 10 Download

One of my most common email questions are folks having trouble printing coupons or seeing something strange happening on the site.  If you’ve ever sent me a message like that, you probably got a response asking what web browser you are using – outdated browsers are often the culprit.

Since starting Southern Savers, I’ve learned a lot about how much your web browser can affect what you can see and do on websites.  For example, if you are using Internet Explorer 6, you probably don’t even see the printable shopping lists on Southern Savers.  My network engineer husband would also tell you that it’s very important to keep your browser up to date for security reasons.  They are always releasing patches, updates and new features so don’t ignore those messages asking you to download the latest version (I normally do mine in the morning first thing).

Mozilla Firefox is one of the best browsers out there in terms of security and functionality (and it’s free!).  They’ve just released a new version, Firefox 10, so if you have unresolved issues, you might want to upgrade and see if it helps!

While I prefer Firefox, I want to encourage everyone to upgrade to the latest version of any browser you are using.  Apple Safari and Google Chrome are also very good options for a good experience on the web.
