Did you know that back to school season is really just a big crayon war?  He who has the best price on crayons wins!

Right now Toys R Us is winning that battle, all week through July 21st they have Crayola 24 pack crayons on sale for 25¢ (4 for $1).   The next best price is at Publix for 33¢ each.

Remember you can take either store ad and price match this deal at Walmart or Target if you want.

Our Kroger has these crayons for 29 cents each (limit 4 per transaction).

    • This week I didn’t receive an ad in my paper.  If I print the page from online ad, do you think they’d accept it?

      • Bobbie

According to the cashier at the Wal-Mart’s that I go to, they told me I dont have to have the ads with me. They can either look it up because they have the locals ads at some registers or most just take your word for it.

    • Wal-Mart in Laurinburg, NC has 24 packs for $0.25. They have boxes and boxes of them.

Is there an item limit on this deal?

    • Goodsully

I didn’t get a Toys r Us flyer in my paper either.  Is there a limit?  I have a $3 birthday gift card  so I was hoping to get 12 boxes.

      • christa

usually it’s limit 4 so if that’s the case you wouldn’t be able to use the $3 coupon :-(

        • Goodsully

Got my 12 boxes for free!!  Didn’t even have to pay the tax which was .24 on the total but after scanning the birthday gift card it was taken to zero.  Yippee!  No limit either.

Good time to stock up for the shoeboxes.  November will be here before you know it.

      • I did the same thing!!! I got notebooks, crayons, pencil cases, and pencils for under fifty cents each for my three boxes. I have three kids, so they are each assigned a box to buy for. They loved shopping the school sales today :)

    • Sandra

I sent my son by the Toys R Us in Florence, SC to pick me up a sales flyer and he was told that they didn’t have sales flyers.  I was going to price match it at Walmart but if they don’t print flyers, how are we supposed to do this?
