For two days only (Friday & Saturday) you can get 24 ct. boxes of Crayola Crayons for 25¢ ea. at Toys R Us.

I know some of you with grown kids (or no kids) think that is nothing… but this is the kinda deal that makes my, heart skip a beat!  We see crayons this cheap at back to school time, but never in the late spring.  So stock up if you can for the summer activities and crafts and make your kids day with new crayons.

There are other deals part of this two day ad too, so check them all out before shopping.

Don’t have a kid that colors?  Grab some for a great addition to Operation Christmas Child boxes!

    • Littletinkerbell

I am going to price match at Walmart!!

      • Saverme

        i was thinking the same

      • DianaY19

I live in charlotte, nc.  I’ve never priced matched at Walmart…are they a pain?  Can the cashier do it?  If there’s no limit will they let you get as many as you want at walmart too?  I don’t have a toys r us ad…can I print on online and use it?

        • Tina

I would print the price match policy & take with. I got to my toysrus 10 till and there was a line. I didnt clear shelf but I got 20 for bday grab bags. Couldnt pass up.

Here are the three guidelines listed in the Walmart Ad Match Guarantee and posted on the WalmartStores.com website.
We will match any local competitor’s advertised price. We do not require customers to have the ad with them to honor a competitor’s ad. Items Purchased must be identical to the ad size, quantity, brand, flavor, color, etc.

You should be able to pull it up on your phone and show it to them.  Cashiers can do it, sometimes they are sweet and sometimes grrrr

    • Angela_solomon90

      Great for VBS

      • cmccamy

I was thinking the same thing!!

    • DianaY19

My store only had 16 boxes.  They are going to have some upset customers today.

    • Jenn1998

My store had tons, I bought 8 and my 5 year old is joyfully coloring a giant frog with her new crayons right now. Thanks, Jenny for the tip!

    • Mrsbcouponqueen2011

Yeah! I have crayons on my “to-get” list and I was not looking forward to the cost for 6 boxes…one for each of the kids and one for me:) but now I am super excited and will be able to get extra!

    • Bybybumblebee

I was able to get 20 at Walmart THEN I went to TRU hoping they had some. They had a ton!!!!! So I got 24 more boxes. My step mom is a teacher and she is so excited! 44 boxes for $11! I felt like I was doing something wrong. Lol

    • guest

My store had two empty peg hooks right when I went in about five minutes after the store opened.  No more in stock and no rain checks…I only ran in as they are on my way home for morning car pool and these are on our back to school list…a bit tacky of TRU to have that major of an item in the ad then only have a few boxes to open the store…oh well…Either way thanks for the head’s up…I did not even notice the sale when I glanced through the ad Sunday… :)

    • This is a great deal! At back to school time last year the 24 count box was $.42 at WalMart! I just printed the ad b/c i’m going to price match at walmart too (good idea littletinkerbell!)  I have an etsy business that i make stuff with crayons, so you know i bought as many as i could at this price!! ;)

    • Jenn

My TRU was sold out too.  Is Walmart the only place that will price match?

      • Bybybumblebee

Yes they are. Make sure to print the ad!

        • Jenn

Glad I did!  I bought them out… a total of 16 packs.  I think someone was there before me :)  So glad I got this tip.  I may go to another Walmart & see what they have to offer in the morning :)  The guy at TRU wasn’t sure if they’d be restocking for tomorrow – pretty disappointing.

    • momof5

The toysRus ad in my florida newspaper does not mention this crayola deal.  Should I still go to the store?  No reason to go if the crayons are not on sale…

    • Ladybugpam

i hope my store has some.  I am planning on going to Petco this weekend to redeem all of the free pet food q’s they put out this month before they expire.  TRU is right next door…my son got a $3 off $3 purchase q from the TRU bday club, so I can get 12 free!!!  it will be a fun trip for the kids–animals and toys!

I was so excited you participate in Operation Christmas Child!  My mom and I put together 200 boxes last year and are doing at least the same this year.  It is such a fun and rewarding thing to do.  Everywhere we go we are looking for good deals for “the children”.  This is a great deal for these, as you know when you need 200 of everything it has to be cheap! LOL  Another thing that is great in the boxes is flip-flops and t-shirts.  Everyone of our children get those in their boxes.  God bless you and everyone else that participates!

      • DianaY19

We do OCC every year too and think it’s an awesome mission.  I’m just curious though…you say you put together 200 boxes between you and your mom.  How do you afford the shipping?  It cost $7 a box to ship them.

        • Teena

Last year we did a couple yard sales, the children’s department with my church helped with a little.  We also save all our change through the year.  But in the end whatever we didn’t have (almost half) my mom ended up paying for.

We do sell items on Ebay and this year everything we make is going towards the boxes until we have the $1400 we need for the shipping.  We just felt the Lord tell us to do the 200 boxes and know that one way or the other he will help us come up with it. :)  (not that it is easy!)

      murfreesboro tn location is out

    • TabithaIlges

My husband and I bought 2 boxes.  It looks like according to the receipt that we got charged like 1.10 a box even though it was advertised .25 at the store.  Dissappointed.
