Amazon has the best price I’ve seen so far for Turbo Tax Deluxe + eFile + State.  You can get it this week for $39.79 (about $10 cheaper than going directly to Turbo Tax).

You can actually do unlimited federal tax returns with one copy, and it includes 5 different federal eFiles for free.  So if anything split this with a family member if you can!

Note: It does not include an eFile for the State taxes, but you could print and mail them to your state with no additional cost.  =

When I click on the link it says the price is $53.68.  So I’m confused

Deal is dead – now showing at $53+.  Staples has it for 49 + 5 gift card which I will probably get.

    • Shop Now

$49 + free ship at Walmart, Best Buy, Staples. Ebates has 4% promotion @ Staples.

The link that Jenny posted a few days ago (Free basic or 40% off deluxe or higher) takes you to the Turbo Tax website that shows the deluxe for $29.95.

It is crazy how quickly the prices change! It is now up to 69.99!

Go to Amazon and do a search for Turbo Tax Deluxe and it brings up other options, including getting the software downloaded to your computer instead of ordering the CD–if you do it this way, the price is correct.  Also if you choose the Deluxe option without state (I live in TN and we don’t have state income tax) it is cheaper too.

sorry for all the posts–this morning my computer was wacky & it wasn’t posting what I was writing.

Anyway, following my own instructions :) I ordered TurboTax Deluxe + efile (Federal only, we don’t need state) for only $26.95 just now!  It is $49+ in the stores.

H&R Block has a free file option this year that allowed me to prepare my federal and both state returns and e-file all of them for free. I didn’t pay a penny for anything.

      • Kelliea

Is that only if you don’t itemize deductions?  I think TurboTax has a free option too, but only if you don’t itemize.  Great deal if you can use it!!!

    • Kim

The price has already changed.  It’s now $49.42 (including tax).

If anyone has a Capital One credit card they emailed an discount of 35% off on Turbo Tax, which had it cheaper than any of these prices. Its good until the end of the month. But I’m still gonna wait and see what the Office supply store offer this month. Every year I end up getting a great deal with rebates, free gifts, free “fun” software, etc from Office Deport or Staples :)
