A personal note about art classes:
Over the past year I have watched my mother truly bloom in a sense as she gets settled living close to us in South Carolina. She found a set of friends and they all started taking a once a week night art class. I never knew my mom to be artsy so I kind of thought this was a crazy idea, but 8 weeks later she had a beautiful painting and a little more joy from it all. I’m hoping that one of these days she’s going to make me an original for my house!
