VeggieTales is coming out with a brand new DVD and they want to celebrate with you!  Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men releases March 3rd and it teaches that there’s no hurt too big for God!

Here’s a brief overview from the folks at VeggieTales:

Robin Good has a mission – fundraising from the rich and giving to the poor! But when a greedy Prince starts stealing the townspeople’s hams, donations are down and Robin’s band of friends desert him to give robbing a try. Watch to see if Robin can overcome his hurt, show his friends what’s right and restore the townspeople’s hope.

With all the VeggieTales movies we have, I confess that every single one of them is just as much fun (if not more) for me.  I know they are geared towards children, but they always include so many jokes for parents that my kids rarely get.  My all time favorite was the Keebler Elf in the movie Lord of the Beans!

Want to get a copy of the new movie??
If you pre-order Robin Good right now, you will receive a free VeggieTales clock!  You can also see the VeggieTales when they come to a town near you on their VeggieTales Live Tour!  Kids of all ages can sing along to their favorite songs with their favorite characters.  Check out prices and dates for you area.

    • lauraoshields

Be patient and wait on God, from their movie on the “Heros of the Bible”. That is probably our favorite, but we haven’t yet come across a Veggie Tales movie that we did not absolutely LOVE!

       I love the Esther video

    • Jaymee024

the real meaning of true beauty from sweetpea beauty

    • Jmgregory_99

Really enjoyed the Madame Blueberry message on materialism and acquiring “things” just to have them.  When we are out and our children want frivilous things we say “OK Madame Blueberry” to make our point.

    • Jennifer T

My boys love the Christmas ones.  As my son says “I want to watch the toy that saved Christmas”.

    • DSmiley

We liked Lord of the Beans and using your gifts to help other people, but in general, we’d like to see a little more theology in the movies. A lot of kids can understand and handle it, and we think it needs to be there.

    • Lynsie

I like the sharing one with the vikings.  We need all the lessons we can about sharing.  But Princess and the Popstar is also awesome with teaching them that who God made this is better than being someone else!

    • Jaime Calafate

Jonah and the lesson of obedience.

    • Samsandston

I second Madam Blueberry.  You can’t buy happiness.

    • Katie G

Our household favorite is It’s a Meaningful Life. This is a wonderful story of giving to watch all year round. My kids love the football and train parts but in the end, they all love the meaning of this precious life God gave us.

    • Kendra

I haven’t seen them all, but I would say that Jonah is a good one!

    • chrystal bachmann

I’d love one with a lesson on obeying!

    • Vallee1979

I loved the story of the Rumor Weed. It was such a great way to teach kids that you can’t believe everything you hear. It also teaches that to spread around gossip is hurtful and the lies can grow and grow until they’re out of control!

    • Clctbartmas

I like Sweet Pea Beauty, a lesson about inner beauty.

    • We like King George and the Duckies!!

    • rebecca

I don’t really watch them but my grandaughter Loves Veggie Tales. I would like to win it for her.

    • Rmmills

Madamme Blueberry is a good one. More “stuff” really does not make you happier.

    • Coxfamily3jds

The favorite in our house is A Snoodle’s Tale that God made each one of us special and He love’s us just the way we are.  God made us special and he loves us very much.  Even when people are putting you down all you have to do is remember those words and that should be able to brighten your day and make you feel special.  It makes you realize that only the way God thinks of you matters.

    • Our girls love The wizard of Ha’s

    • Lottieevans

We love Veggie Tales and right now are enjoying the CDs that recently came out with the Chickfila kids meals….my son loves the one about Lyle the Kindly Viking!

My son loves The Star of Christmas. He constantly asks to watch it.

    • Bsmiley1

    • Emw261

Lord of the Beans! God has given everyone a gift

    • Juneandcasey

Where’s God when I’m scared is my fav.  I love that it teaches God is bigger than all our fears.  So important for kids to know.

    • HiDHooz

Prodigal Son lesson that even though we stray from God and are disobedient He never forsakes us or turns His back on us!  (Wizard of Ha’s!)

    • Disneylvr710

Wizard of Has is this houses favorite!

    • linda

I like their song/movie “Where’s God when I’m scared?” I want my kids to grow up knowing that God is bigger than the boogie man.  He is big enough to handle all their problems, fears, failures and rejoicing.  It also teaches me that God is big enough to trust my kids to.  If we can’t trust our kids to God, how small is He?

    • Ram_z99

      from Gideon – Tuba Warrior

Hero, “how many battles have been won with musical instruments?!”
Angel of the Lord, “You’d be surprised.”

Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed: “A Lesson in the Power of Words”

    • Jenn S.

I asked my children and these are their responses…

6 yr old loved the Ballad of Little Joe – it taught me not to steal and not to fight. Man I love that show!

9 yr old loved a Madam Blueberry – to stick with the things you have and don’t try to get everything. Be happy with the life you have!

I am so thankful to my mom for introducing my kids and myself to Veggie Tales. It has been an amazing thing for our family.

    • Jrmartin

Rack, Shack, and Benny – can’t remember the name – but about obeying God rather than men!

    • Lindsey

I always loved the David and Goliath movie!

    • Joyce

One of my favorite lessons is the one they teach on “stuff” not being important.  It is a Madame Blueberry movie.  This one went a long way in helping drive home to my kids that they did not need every new toy they saw:)

    • Jafrajewels

I asked my 8 year old son what his favorite Veggie Tales video/lesson is.  He initially said “Madame Blueberry because it teaches you to be content with what you have and take care of what you have instead of always wanting more stuff.”  He then switched and said…”but theres also Larry Boy and the Rumor weed which teaches you not to spread rumors and Larry Boy and the fib from outer space which teaches you not to tell fibs, because fibs can make a big difference.  Then theres Josh and the Big Wall that teaches you about learning to follow God’s directions….”  He’s still talking and coming up with others as I type so you can tell Veggie Tales makes a big impact in our house!

    • Leslie7635

We love Jonah. Would love to have this one :)

    • Mercermom

I have 4 children 6 and under!  The older 3 all have their own favorite, but they all love Larry!  The girls love SweetPea Beauty and Esther.  We all loved Lord of the Beans!  Thank you for more!

There are so many good lessons taught by the VeggieTales.  I like to remind my children that God is bigger than the boogie man!

    • We love the Jonah video.  Jonah was a prophet, ooh, ooh.  He never really got it, sad but true.  We never tire of the veggie tales.  We have the Larry Boy and the Bad Apple CD in the car, another favorite.  Basically, We love the Veggie Tales and any new ones are on top of the list to get.  It would be a nice surprise to win one.  :>

    • Auberella

We love VeggieTales in this house!  A favorite of mine has always been “Where’s God When I’m Scared?” teaching kids that God is always right there.  Thanks for the chance to win!

    • It is SO hard to pick just one!!  I really like Larry Boy & the Fib From Outer Space, because it actually sparked a lot of conversations between my (then-four-year-old) son and I about lying, and how a small lie (or fib) could easily get out of control.  I’m also a big fan of Madame Blueberry for that very reason – it was a fun way to explain to my son how “stuff” doesn’t fulfill our lives, that we shouldn’t try to “keep up with the Jonses,” and that we should be happy with what we have.

    • Kelly Edwards

God made you special!  Always the bottom line!  I love that point especially as a mother of two young girls.  It’s so important to remind them of that in a society with so many pressures on women to be this perfect ideal image!

    • I have never see a Veggie Tales movie since my kids are grown but I have a granddaughter on the way and want to start collecting them for her.  I have read a bout them and like the idea of a cartoon that has a christian moral.

    • About sharing.

    • Dawn Abercrombie

My most recent favorit is Pastacio.  Teaching the command to listen to your parents.  I thought it was interetsting that is was the first one that came with a promise.  We love it!!

    • Amrollins

Madame Blueberry’s lesson on gratefulness was awesome! I still make myself sing that after my kids are teens! We still love VeggieTales and listen in the mornings, just to give laughable moments throughout the day!

    • Dixiez718

Like the Live Show about Silly Songs and Sharing with Others

    • Tinamarie2883

The toy that saved chistmas about being greedy and we sing barbra manatee ALOT.

    • AMYDWILL

I love all the lessons. I think there should be one on bullying if there is not one already

    • Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed is a great movie, and I like all of the others movies too.

    • ADLeggett

    • Joanie

Sweetpea Beauty is a favorite here. There’s much more than the outside…

    • I really liked Jonah. Obeying even when it isnt what you want to do is one of the hardest things for adults and children to do.

    • Jennifer

We love the bunnies. Shadrack, Meshack and Abendago. Stay true to god and he will be there for you.

    • Sassymomma22boys

    • Graceandjoelroberts

We like Rack, Shack and Benny! Excited for the chance to win the new one!

    • Amy Hill

Definitely the lesson from King George and the Ducky. The message is about being thankful for what you have and not wanting what others possess. We have five daughters (ages 22 months- 14) so this lesson is one we refer to often in helping them appreciate whT they have. All our kids love Veggie Tales and we of course love the truths of God being taught as we watch.

    • Suzy Cook

Madame Blueberry is my favorite lesson on greed!

    • breich

Larry Boy and the big fat fib.  It is a great lesson on lying and how it hurts others and grows bigger and bigger and bigger.  I used this with both my girls when trying to teach them the value of telling the truth.

    • Kelly Brown

My four year old and I LOVE VeggieTales! My favoritelesson for now is an old one, with Madaam Blueberry. It teaches kids to be Thankful for what they have! A new challange for my 4 year old! lol

    • Curlyq45

There are so many good ones, but doing what’s right, even when others aren’t, or people are pressuring you to do what’s wrong from Rack, Shack and Benny is good.  We LOVE the Bunny Song around here.  :)

    • jen

my kids love the veggie tale pirates!

    • Kringle

We do not yet have a VeggiTales DVD but we do have a personalized CD with great songs and lessons in between songs. A gift from Grandpa. It speaks about calling a person a friend instead of weirdo, how God thinks you are special, and tells the story of Noah. I have twin boys and they each have their own CD that says their name in each song and that really grabs their attention. They are 2 now and their only prayer yet is “Thank you Jesus”, but they are working on it.

    • Cheryl d

my oldest (4) is a very girlie girl and loves loves the Girl Power Triple Feature movie with Madame Blueberry who is learning to be thankful. We don’t have to have a bunch of stuff to make us happy. We should be thankful for what we already have, even if it isn’t much.

    • Mandaschelle

Larry and the Fib from Outerspace is my favorite. My daughter is only one and the Veggie Tales have entertained her from a very early age. They are one of the few cartoons out these days that are entertaining for the parent as well as the child

    • Christine

Oh so hard to chose just one favorite!  I thin I’ll go with Madame Blueberry and being content with what you have.

    • Smoochy_one

    • Shawk20

My family has loved VeggieTales since my son first discovered the Ballad of Little Joe and we do love them all. One of my favorite lessons is Madame Blueberry’s lesson on being happy with what you have, a lesson very much needed with today’s sense of entitlement.

    • Joshua & the Big Wall, a lesson in obedience is a fav here!

    • Katiemusic

My fave has to be King George and the Ducky!  But of course I like the ones on Daniel, Esther and Jonah as those are my three kids names!  ;)

    • Lmjohnson626

I love the message of inner beauty in Sweet Pea Beauty/Snoodlerella. It can be hard to remember that God made us all in his image and he finds all his children beautiful no matter how we look on the outside. I had it on for my daughter as i was scrubbing toilets one day, and i certainly did not FEEL beautiful. What a wonderful reminder!

By far, this is my 2.5 year old daughter’s favorite, too. I’m glad she’s learning this now. In fact, my husband loves the song during the end credits so much that it made him cry, and he decided that he wants that to be the song that he and our daughter dance to when she gets married.

    • Nina

God made you special! I love all the lessons/morals in the veggie tales stories but this really is the most important in my opinion!

    • Dchef2007

My son and I love all of them. I especially love the song “God is bigger than the boggie man.” We used to sing that when I taught Sunday school and we had a funny dance that went with it. It is one of those silly songs that teachers kids not to be scared of things.

    • Suzy

my favorite was the one with madam blueberry. we don’t need all that STUFF, even if everyone around us has ___ we don’t need that! I love them all though!

    • Its so hard to pick honestly. love ’em all!!!!! but id have to say Our families fav episode EVER is when they tech you that you cant just eat candy that you need to eat healthy.

    • Bowb4me2

We love A Snoodles Tale. The first time we watched it as a family, I cried. We love it, because it shows the Snoodle talking to his Creator (God). And you see God’s love for his creations (his children) and how He sees our potential and love for us.

    • Brittany

Our very favorite Veggie Tales movies it It’s A Meaningful Life.  My girls want to watch it even when it is not Christmastime.  While the songs are very entertaining for us, and we enjoy the humor involved with the football “salad bowl” game, it reminds us all of how thankful we should be.  It allows us all to see that God has a very special plan for all of us, and to be grateful for our loved ones and the gifts that only He can give.

My favorite is Jonah, I’ve always loved all the veggietales movies since they were on VHS, and I’ve always liked the original story of Jonah, I especially liked this version because my favorite Christian band, Newsboys, made a song for the movie and it’s one of my favorites by them.
I may have a new favorite movie though with this one because I’ve always liked the story of robin hood too! I volunteer in nursery on Sunday’s with the 2-3 year olds and they LOVE veggietales, if we get a copy, my 4 year old daughter will have to let me borrow it for church.
(barbara manatee was my fav song, I’ve always wanted a plush of her!)

    • Pink0129

    • Jodisprague

The Veggie Tales are a HUGE hit with our 3 and 5 yr old girls! Their favorite movie changes from time to time, but right now “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything” is their favorite. It has such great music in it, and a great lesson!.

    • Kim

    • Tara

I am kind of an old school veggietales person so my favorites were the ones they aired/made years ago (I don’t know if they still air them today). I loved the one with David and Galiath, where it taught you that no matter what your size is you can accomplish anything. Also no matter how big your problem may be there is always a simple solution if you have confidence and keep strong! Though I love all the Veggietales lessons because they incorporate bible lessons as well as life lessons!

    • Lynn in MD

      The Rumor Weed

    • Lindsey Pilgreen

We are just starting to show Veggie Tales to our 6 month old. He loves all of the bright colors and music right now and hopefully he’ll enjoy the lessons and stories one day too. I’m watching them for the first time with him and I really enjoy how they teach to follow God and not others who say something is cool in Rack, Shack & Benny (I think that’s the name).

    • Lisa

Madame Blueberry, about material possessions.  Kind of ties in with this new one, Robin Good!

I love the Veggietales music some of the songs have been around a long time and kids today are still enjoying the origionals…My favorite is The Water Buffalo.:)

    • Donna

My kids have recently been talking about monsters in their rooms and being afraid of the dark, so I slipped God is Bigger Than the Boogie Man in the car DVD player.  At night when they talk about being scared, we sing the song and it really works!  We love Veggie Tales in our house and the new one sounds SO cute!

    • Jflowers104

My family loves Veggie Tales!  My boys are 7 and 3, so the oldest is learning those bible stories (from the bible) and he says “oh, so that is Daniel and the Lion’s Den!”   “Mom did Daniel really share pizza with the lions?”  My youngest is enjoying them now.  They  love them all, but I think their favorite is the movie where junior asparagus  watches a scary movie, then goes to bed and starts hearing noises.  My boys have dealt with  that alot.  They love the song God is bigger than the Boogie Man!  Awesome lessons for kids…and parents!

    • Dkg1856

Veggie Tales teach great lessons !!!     I think the adults sometimes learn as much as the children or maybe reminded !

    • Corleye1

There are so many great lessons that the Veggie Tales stories teach, and it’s hard to pick just one! I like the one about telling white lies and how it can amount to a much bigger problem.

    • Katherine Dangerfield

My 2 (almost 3) year old loves Veggie Tales! She sleeps with her stuffed toys, Bob and Larry, every night! Her absolute favorite VeggieTales’ video is “Rack, Shack, & Benny.” I love the message of that video – standing up for what your parents and God have taught you. My daughter is even learning that message now. She sings the song at the end of that movie at the top of her lungs, “Stand up, Stand up for what you believe in, believe in, believe in. God (He’s the one to back you up) will stand with you!” I’m so glad she can learn Bible messages through VeggieTales!

    • Salvato08

I love all the veggie tales movies. Our most resent favorite is princess poppy seed. I love the meaning behind it. I would love them to come out with losing someone to death and how god has a plan for all of us both here on earth and in heaven. And how to deal with it as a child.

As Junior Asparagus said in “Josh and The Big Wall”…God’s way is the best way….how do I know? He loves me so!”

    • Jenn

I think “God wants me to forgive them?!?” Is such a good lesson for adults and kids alike! I feel like one of the worst problems we as human beings can have is holding a grudge. It really can destroy you! It makes that person so bitter and only hurts themselves. We have to teach our children how to forgive because they WILL be treated wrongly and taken advantage of their whole life. It’s just how the world is.

    • Taeila

My favorite lesson is Madame Blueberry’s thankfulness one. My daughter has learned quite a bit from it and I hope that she continues to learn from their fun songs :)

If I have to pick, I’d choose the “God Made You Special” DVD because it teaches such good lessons about how God loves each of us and He made us all a little different and special in our own way.  My oldest talks about his friends and how each are different and special is God’s eyes!  This DVD has taught him not only a valuable lesson, but he’s also learned to apply it to his daily life! :)

The Star that saved Christmas….  great example of how God loves even those that mess up.

    • Jkris

      I love them all !!!!

    • Kirstangrace

My long-time favorite has always been Madame Blueberry.  Those of us who remember that we serve the Lord of all, who have a heavenly Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills should remember not to love the things of this world and to be generous with what we have.

    • Heather R

Love the Lord of the Beans, my son’s favorite is the Sumo of the Opera.  He loves the piano skit with the french peas.  Love the selflessness of Toto Baggypants, and the perserverance is always a great lesson.

    • Mrs

My little one loves Lord of the Beans.  She asks to watch it all the time.

    • Miriam Wiggins

A Snoodle’s Tale..Teaching to love yourself and know that God made you special. Each person has their own talents, gifts, and individuality. This was the first VeggieTale that my son watched as a baby. He is now almost 6 and still loves it just as much!

    • Katie H.

We love Veggie Tales!! We are actually going to see them live in March! My favorite lesson would be from Sweet Pea Beauty. They teach you to love yourself for who you are on the inside because that is how God sees you. It is amazing how something geared towards children can mean so much to me :)

    • Tippetterica

madame blueberry’s  lesson in contintment – you can have too much stuff!

    • Mrswdosr

My favorite is Snoodle’s Tale.  Don’t let others’ expectations keep you from being who God designed you to be!

    • I have many favorites, but if I have to pick one I would say Sumo if the Opera.  Its lesson is perseverance is terrific. I also like that it incorporates finishing what you start!

    • Pollard1184

I am not very familiar with the veggie tale movies even though I have a almost 4 year old. I wish that I had some of their movies. We could really use one that teaches respect at my house.

I’d like to see one on overcoming your fears.

      • Mneukam

Wendi, Check out their old one called “Where’s God When I’m Scared” or a newer one that has Junior confronting a bully on the playground ~ I cannot remember the name but it is also very good.

    • Rgdintn

All the lessons are good, but so far I like Madame Blueberry the best and her lesson that it is not all about getting lots of stuff!

    • Tiffanyrose

I love Esther, the Girl Who Became Queen.  Great likeness to the actual story with a blend of current social problems.  Love it.

    • Mneukam

We enjoy Annie’s song from Madame Blueberry on thankfulness. And my 2 1/2 year old loves it when I sing “Junior’s Nigh-Night Song” (as he calls it) to him at night. :)

    • Emilypdaniell

Mine is josh and the big wall. Love it!

    • Every lesson that the Veggie Tales gang teaches is important in my book. They teach children about God’s love and some valuable life lessons. I am so glad my daughter loves Veggie Tales. She is two years old and asks to watch them all of the time. It would have to be among the best of all the child appropriate shows she watches. Veggie Tales are totally awesome!!!

    • Susan

Love Saint Nicholas that teaches why we give to others (because God loves us & first gave to us His Son)

    • Coupons Hillary

    • Janalee

I love Madame Blueberry and her lesson on appreciating what you have and not continuously wanting what others have. Not to mention that my favirite silly song is “Stuff Mart”. When Bob and Larry break it down, I can’t stop myself from dancing :)

    • Susan162415

How to pick a favorite?  I really like the lesson of “The Toy That Saved Christmas.”  Helps to remind kids that Christmas is not about the stuff.

    • KelliB

We love Jonah! A lesson from the man who ran!

    • Kseymour1974

We love Veggie Tales – our favorite is God is Bigger than the Boogey Man – we sing it almost every night before bedtime.

    • Jolene Pittman

My daughter and me love the Princess and the Popstar because it talks about being yourself instead of wanting to be someone else like Vanna Banana because she wanted to play with kids but she had to work and then Princess Poppyseed wanted to be Vanna Bannana because she wanted to be a popstar and not put up with her family.  But, they learned in the end that things work out just by being yourself.  My daughter loves to sing the songs.  Also, she loves the Sweetpea Beauty one that teaches true beauty belongs on the inside of the heart, not just what you see in the mirror.  Also, she likes A Snoodle Tale which is about people’s approval of you keeping you from you fulfilling God’s purpose for you life.  We love Veggie Tales.  We just need a good one that teaches the importance of respect in the home to their parents, and to teachers.  We need children to listen to their parents.  We have the one about Pistachio, but she didn’t care about it, probably because she knows that is her problem.

    • John F.

The fib from outer space I think is one of the best. Larry Boy rocks!!! LOL

    • myj

My daughter loves Princess Poppyseed, and I love it because it teaches her to love herself the way she is.

I love the one about worshiping the chocolate bunny….”The bunny, the bunny, oh, I love the bunny!”

    • Diane

These are new to me but with an almost 3 yr old great grandchild in my home sounds like all are a great learning tool.  I will be checking them out for sure.

I love the message of the true meaning of Easter in “An Easter Carol”

    • Michelle

I love all the Veggie Tales. They always have good lessons.

    • Amanda Parris

With three daughters, I am very happy with the Sweet Pea Beauty message relating to the importance of inner beauty.  The general impression from the media and peer pressure is so strong to make the outside look good, but it’s the beauty God created that really shines through!

    • Tresa

Our family loves to watch veggie tales! We started when our oldest daughter was 3 and now she’s 16 and she still likes it!!! :)

    • Mom2oandi

Love the rumor weed! They do just grow and grow! And the bunny! Oh that was stuck in my head for days!

    • Pochocha

My kids favorite is the pirates that don’t do anything movie!

    • Misty

We love them all!  My favorite story is Esther, and we use it to teach our kids they are here for such a time as this!

    • Nita in Nashville

My children love to listen to Veggie-Tales music.  We have so many of their songs and can probably sing many right now:  Oh where….is my hairbrush?, It’s time for Veggie-Talalales, and the list goes on…..

    • Ashley Carter

My favorite is an oldie…Madame Blueberry. It teaches my children and I that life is not all about STUFF!

    • Adpharr

Doing good towards others even if they don’t towards you!

    • Bill

We love The Wonder Wizard of Ha’s and the lesson that God loves us all.  The kids love the monkey song.

    • Paulavb22

I like the lesson about not lying to your parents!  (in the one where he breaks a plate and says his friend did it)

    • CCoppeans

My daughter loves Jonah, the Sing-A-Long DVD, and Dave and the Giant Pickle!

    • Tbdever

I absolutely ADORE Madame Blueberry’s lesson on having too much stuff and what it can do to you:(

    • Heatherakamouse

We love Veggie Tales in our house.  Our favorite has to be the cd’s that we take in the car so we can sing along as we drive.  It really helps the miles go by faster!

    • Jennifer

There are so many good lessons-maybe Madame Blueberry on materialism?

    • kjllane

I really LOVE all of them, because it teaches about God and His love. My son’s favorite is Jonah. We started watching the videos when he was 2, but he really got into them about 6 months ago now that he is 4. It is really nice to have him tell me the stories and know that he learning about the Bible.

    • freckmom

My 18 month old LOVES Veggie tales and has been “singing” along for months now. The shows make her breathing treatments more bareable for both of us. She loves Dave and the Giant Pickle the best!

    • Rwhite3

I like the Lord Of The Beans with the lesson of using gifts wisely.

    • Gumridgemill

We just got finished watching Veggie Tales Easter DVD – it’s amazing what a 5  year old can recite to you after watching one.  Love Veggie Tales!

    • Kristina

I like “Lyle the kindly viking”.  It is a great message about sharing.  But the “God is bigger than the boogie man” song is great when the kids have a nightmare.
Also, we ordered pizza last night and the kids needed cheese in the crust and said “There’s cheese in the crust.  That’s tremendous.”  from Dave and the Big Pickle.

    • Roland

Madame Blueberry and the lesson about “stuff” was very good.

    • I love the lesson/song that “God is bigger than the Boogieman.”

    • The lesson I remember and like the most is the one that Madame Blueberry learns. She learns that you can have all the stuff in the world, but that won’t make you happy because happiness does not come from stuff!

    • Robinshook

I love for my son to watch good stuff like the veggie tales . It is impartant for me to teach him values and good maners and that God is in control!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Robinshook

I love for my son to watch good stuff. It is important that he laerns values, good maners and that God is in control.

    • KaraFos

I love the golden rule lesson.

    • Ruthavelazquez

We love Jonah and the lesson that God is a God of second chances.

    • Luci

Her current fave is The Ballad of Little Joe (Joseph and his brothers) mostly because of the songs. Hubby’s fav is Rack, Shack, and Benny. Mine is currently Saint Nicholas because I can share some experiences I’ve had overseas and this helps explain it to them.

    • My favorite lesson is the one from King George & the Ducky.

    • Julie T

They are all so good!  It’s impossible to choose just one!  Fib from Outer Space would have to be near the top of the list.

    • Bmo44

I definitely agree! I never get tired of hearing Veggie Tales! I enjoy the stories and songs as much as my kids!! Our favorite story now is LarryBoy and the Bad Apple. My almost 5 year old and 2 year old are hilarious acting out the story and hearing them giggle just melts my heart!

    • Lil A’s mom

it might already exist…but the lesson of living each day as if it were your last…don’t let the sun go down on your wrath

    • Jillcoupon

Love the Fib from Outer Space!

    • Lainiebug21

We love Veggietales! Pistachio is my favorite so far which teaches the lesson of listening to your parents. My 2 and 1 year old’s favorite is Rack, Shack and Benny – they especially love the part where Jesus saves them from the furnace. When that scene comes, I hear “Mommy! Jesus saved them!”

    • Brandy

My son, who is 14, has been watching Veggie Tales since he was 2, and now his 3 younger brothers love the show just as much.  I asked him what his favorite was and he said he’d have to go with Josh and the Big Wall, which is a lesson in obedience.  (This may have something to do with the fact that he’s always loved building things, and used to build towers of “Jericho” and knock them down!) Regardless, it is a great show.  My son also said he’d like to see them do a show on bullying, if they haven’t already. I personally love them all, but can really relate to Madame Blueberry and the lesson in not being greedy or a person who hoards too much stuff!

    • Julia

We love Veggie Tales!  Esther is a big favorite of my daughter’s.  My husband and I love that it is teaching her to obey God even when we don’t want to.

    • Sduehring

I think that “God made you special and He loves you very much :)”

    • Sally

    • Leah

I have never seen Veggie Tales, but my son is turning two soon and I think it’s time to start showing them to him!

    • born2worship

I like the lesson of stuff not making you happy in Madame Blueberry.

    • Acavenaugh80

I like the It’s a Meaningful Life movie. It teaches you that even if you had a plan for your life God has His own and He knows what is best for you and to be thankful for all the wonderful things He has given you!

    • Nicole R

My daughter loves all the veggietales

    • Angie Vail

My favorite is Madame Blueberry. Buying lots of things will never make you happy!

    • Ilovecouponing2

I love the message in Princess and the Popstar!!!

    • ahlers0514

FAILURE: I would love to see an episode on failure. There is so much pressure on kids these days to be the best and it is sad to say, but the age groups are getting younger and younger! A lesson teaching children that just because you may fail, does not make you a failure and how to take responsibility when we do fail. And how God still loves us. Maybe give examples of Peter, King David and even Noah.

    • Brittany

We love all the Veggie Tales movies and lessons! We have benn watching Esther lately, love that she stands up for God and what is correct.

    • Lbs

i love all the bible stories– especially shadrack, meshack and abendingo (and the giant idol, the chocolate bunny ;))

    • Partyof9

I like Joshua and the Big Wall.  A great story about never giving up and having faith even when it seems ridiculous! As for what I’d like to see, one on having compassion for siblings. We say “who you are in this house is who you are” and yet our children often put their peers in front of their family members.

    • Angela

I love all the episodes along with my son. Their teaching him good values even though he doesn’t quite understand it yet.

    • Tracey

I like Madame Blueberry and the lesson on contentment

    • Stacey

We love Lyle the kindly Viking and LarryBoy and the Fib from outerspace.  We love the message of sharing and telling the truth.

    • Jonesfamily71

My kids love Larry Boy and the Bad Apple. Video games are a temptation around our house!

    • Ashley

Larry boy and the Fib. He learned about lying and how important it is to tell the truth.

    • Couprint

So hard to choose…  I would probably have to vote on our first Veggie Tales purchase: Jonah.  Listen to what the Lord is telling you.

    • I like the story about David and Goliath

    • twohappykids

I like “It’s a Meaningful Life” – a take on my Christmas movie favorite, “It’s a Wonderful Life”!  The lesson shows us how God loves us just as we are, not what we might have been, and that He has a plan for each person!

    • I love Madam Blueberry. I have the girl power triple feature for my 2 year old and she loves veggie tales.

    • My son’s favorite is Dave and the Giant Pickle.

    • Missy81481

Thank you for doing this giveaway.  We are definitely a Veggie Tales household.  I just love Esther, being courageous and standing up for what is right, love it!

    • Amber H.

My favorite is Rack, Shack and Benny and the BUNNY! I love the lesson of not bowing to peer pressure.

    • Tllemaster16

I like the one where the peas are French guards on the walls of jericho and throw slushies.

    • TigerHoo

My very favorite is “Duke and the Great Pie War.” I absolutely love the part about how many Rhubarbarians it takes to change a lightbulb (“I don’t know, but even if I did, it wouldn’t change my negative opinion of Rhubarbarians”). What a great way to tell the story of Ruth and Naomi!

    • Mykidsrock

Hmmm… I love Veggie Tales (my kids do, too). I laughed out loud during Lord of the Bean and sang along with Jonah over and over and over. My favorite VT product has to be the Singing Christmas Tree, though. When Jr. sings “Was He a Boy Like Me” I get teary eyed. It gets me every time.

    • Erindurkee

Our favorite Veggietales is The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything. My 2 year old LOVES it!

    • Judy

My daughter’s favorite is Esther, but she has absolutely LOVED every one of the Veggie Tales DVD’s!!!  They have helped her remember her Bible Stories!  Thanks for giving away the DVD!!!  : )

    • anna

My kids adore Veggie Tales, and we love the adult humor.  The Rumor Weed was great, but you just can’t beat Larry’s silly songs.

    • Laurencrisp

Hard to pick a favorite but Larry boy and the rumor weed may be it!

    • Irene

My kids love veggie tales, but I think I enjoy them more than they do. While my son is a huge fan of all the Larry Boys, and my daughter loves Pistachio. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed harder than I did with Esther, when all the bad guys were sent to the island of perpetual tickling. I love that while I enjoy the humor, my children enjoy them and learn life lessons as well. My daughter learned what lying was, by watching Pistachio and the Fib from Outer Space.

    • Jgirl818

My favorite lesson was Madame Blueberry’s, “A thankful heart is a happy heart!”  It’s too easy to become materialistic in this world.  LOVE my kids watching that one!

    • Kim Hemsley

We love Veggie Tales. I think they could do one on money and how to handle money, such a huge topic!

    • Rgil124

      I love them all…:))

    • Deb

      They are all great.

    • Chrysanthemum77

My favorite is Josh & the Big Wall (lesson on obedience) and my kids love LarryBoy and the Fib from Outerspace (so glad they are learning about honesty and not lying… They need to be reminded of this sometimes!).

    • Loni

I have a 3 and 5 year old and they both have to battle for about 10min before they can agree on which Veggie Tale movie to watch….the winners are usually Moe and the Big Exit and Jonah.  They all have such fun songs though.  We love them.

    • heather

hard to pick just one favorite. They are all good.

    • Naturenova

My favorite lesson so far is from The Wizard of Ha’s… It is learning that God will always love you and you can always come back to Him.   That is a great lesson for adults and children alike.

    • Nora

My favorite is the superstar one where Princess wants
To trade places with Hannah banana. I think this one
Is so important especially to my 8yo with all the bad
Media influences. We are known to break out into
Veggie Tales songs at any given time. :)

    • Greenbp

My grandchildren love Veggie Tales.  Is there one on jealously?

    • Missy

I LOVE VEGGIETALES! My oldest is 10 and we started watching VT before he was born. Had it not been for the VT Silly Sing-along, I don’t know how I would have made it through his first year. :) This was the only video he would watch and be contented so that I could get a few things accomplished in the house. We’ve had multiple VT b’day parties, and now my 2 year old likes VT.

I don’t know which is my favorite, but I did find it interesting how they tackled the story behind “King George and the Ducky.” I thought it would be interesting when my children got older and realized that the story came from the story of David and Bathsheba, and it was.

It’s nice to be able to trust a company to provide quality entertainment for my children!

    • Wendy Tovar

    • Aimee

My favorite Veggie Tales Movie is It’s a Meaningful Life.  My children and I watch it over and over again during the holidays. My son loves it because the main character is a football player when he was in high school.  I love that the movie highlights being content with our lives.  It shows that what we may want or have wanted may not be what is best. God knows what is best and when things don’t work out like we planned, He is working all things together to fit a larger picture.  In a world where we are not satisfied with anything, it’s beautiful to teach our children to be content with what God has given.  If we are, we will find our greatest joy.

My daughter’s favorite (and mine also) is The Wizard of Ha’s. She has always liked The Wizard of Oz, so when Veggie Tales came out with the Ha’s one, we just HAD to get it, no questions asked!! We  have about half of the Veggie movies on VHS and then when we got a DVD player (quite a few years back) we got them all on DVD. So we still have a few left on VHS!!
