I just got this email and it said if I took a survey (the site is listed above), I would get a free coupon for a free box of Fat Boys Ice Cream. Awesome. Just wanted to share. Thank you for your great site.

Has anyone had any problems with Pampers? I want to buy some at Walgreens but my husband said he heard some cases of them causing chemical burns. Has anyone had this problem. I found a lot about this on the internet and now am worried. I usually only get Huggies because of all the $3.00 off coupons. PLEASE HELP!

      • It has not been a Pampers problem in general, but rather a specific Pampers Dry Max issue. These are the new skinnier diaper.

      • Kelleyharold

My daughter had the issue. No more Pampers for us. Took several months to clear up. Started with the overnight “extra protection” diapers and then Pampers introduced Dry Max to the daytime diapers so it got much worse. Took several months, 2 Dr + 1 dermatologist appts, 2 different Rx to finally clear it up. Your baby might not be affected by it (some aren't) but it has affected LOTS of children, per my Dr.

      • Lorelei207

Had this prob only with the new dry max cruisers. i've been using pampers with all of my 3 boys and never had any issues until the dry max cruisers came out. I don't buy those now, but continue with pampers baby dry and they have no probs. We do buy huggies the majority of the time bc of the awesome coupons that come out frequently. Hope that helps!

      • M_bruere

my son had no issues with the dry max but even before others complained of the issue we did have problems with the baby dry version. I seem to notice it only happens when I leave him in the diaper for an extended period of time. so if you're a person who lets the diaper sit until its bursting then it might be an issue. if you change frequently then probably ok.

every body has different skin. for exampel: I get a chemical burn from most acne meds and can only use one kind. my sister gets a chemical burn from what I use but others are ok. all you can do is try and see how it works for you/your baby.

walgreens website states “share extra discount cards with friends and family”

      coupon fine print:

Offer not valid on prescriptions, cigarettes, dairy products, liquor, liquor dept items, phone cards, newspapers, magazines, stamps and gift cards or where otherwise limited by law. Also not valid toward Prescription Savings Club membership fee. Limit one card per person per purchase. Card must accompany purchase.

    • Katherine

Does anyone know whether Publix would accept this?

    • Amy B.

Used it today. The wags cashiers @ the cosmetics counter are sOoOOo much nicer because they earn commission off their sales.

      • Kim Marie

I didn't know this! I always check out at the cosmetics counter because they ARE nicer!

      • Dotrchau

My cosmetic counter lady told me today that they do not get the commission if the 15% coupon was used, but it still helped her till sale amount. She was still a sweetheart even though she wouldn't be getting commission on any of my purchases.

    • Lynnkz

I just used mine this afternoon at my favorite Wag's where all the cashiers and managers are really nice and helpful. Spent a total of 27.10 OOP after discount and coupons but got $19 in RR so my net cost was $8.10 for a huge shopping bag full of stuff. I usually would try to roll the rewards but it's just too hot and I was worried about things being out of stock with the F&F discount, though my favorite Wags is usually pretty good about keeping things in stock compared to the one closer to my house. All in all, a good trip.

    • Forgot to link to my blog in my last comment – if anyone wants to see what I bought, I took a picture and you can read about it on my webpage.

    • Tara

If I remember correctly from the last time they put this coupon out, you must give to the cashier before they ring up anything. They scan the coupon first and then the price rings up automatically at 15% off. Does this affect the RR values? Example: I planned to do the Nestle RR deal, buy $20 and get $5 RR back. If I use the 15% coupon, will I have to buy more than planned to reach the $20 quota?

    • dawn

This makes the Vitamins a $2.50 money maker with the $1.00 coupon and 15% discount!!

    • Katie

I went to Walgreens this evening but the woman wanted to know which Walgreens I work at. I told her I wasn't an employee, this was a friends and family discount but she wouldn't let me use it!

      • Freedomspradley1

The coupon comes from “Like”-ing Walgreens on Facebook. It has nothing to do with whether or not you or a friend or family member works at Walgreens.

    • You have to make sure you give this coupon to the Photo or Cosmetics counter (only) cashier FIRST. I had no problem using my coupon…but you can't use it at the main registers. The cashiers were all very nice and helpful. Nice thing was that the Crayola markers were $2.55 after the 15% discount, so the rebate of $3.00 will end up being an overage!

    • Beth

My Wags wouldn't let me pair it with a RR, said it would beep.

    • Sandy565

The cashier at my Wags stated that I needed to give her the 15% off coupon before she rung anything up. She would not take the coupon afterwards.

    • kaseyshadow

Anyone have any luck using the 15% off in the Cola, SC area?

    • Ctrinkle

fyi – if you are trying to have a total dollar purchases to get the RR's, the 15% comes off first so you have to take that into consideration when you buy your products. For example, I tried to do the Dove purchase with 4 products at $2.99 that before the 15% would be $12, but after was under $11 and so with the 15%, no RR's printed. I would have had to buy another product or forgo the 15% which is what I did.

    • Lorelei207

I used this coupon with the Pampers $25 deal and my Walgreens pepe are so super nice, they let me get the RR even though the total was under $25 after the %15 off. The manager just looked at the reciept, used one of my pampers and scanned it 3 times to get the RR to print out…But you def have to give them the coupon first before they ring up anything.

    • Sue

Does Publix accept Walgreen coupons?…..Charleston area

      • shelly

My Walgreens does except them. It depends on if your Publix considers them a competitor. Just call and ask customer service who all they consider their competitors. Usually it's stores within a certain amount of miles from their store.

    • Funnygirl

I used mine today but the RR didn't print out. I still got some great deals on items on sale, plus coupons, plus the 15% off. Wish I could use it on some of the RR items in Texas.

    • theeg

FYI, some bic disposable razors after ff discounts, using B1G1 coupons and $3 off of any soleil disposable came down to .09 cents!!! I bought one for $5.09 and another for $3.82, after all the coupons and discounts, .18 cents. Sweet!!!!

    • Kim

I used my coupon last night and it is from Liking Walgreens on FB and it has nothing to do with whether or not you know someone that works there. It does have to be used at another counter also, but my cashier took me over to another counter and I had no problems. I bought 3 Huggies wipes for around $2.00 by using this coupon, the $1.00 off Walgreens store coupon in the monthly coupon booklet, and the printable $2.50 off 3 Huggies wipes q. Great Huggies wipe deal, but only through today with this coupon or it won't be as good.

    • Shellonbrooks

      Love it y'all!!

    • Debbie

I have shopped all three days with the 15% off coupon at Walgreens. I asked the manager at my store where I shop and she said I could use the coupon as many times as I liked. COOL!!!
      So today I bought:
      Complete – 6.79 (15% off)
gillette fusion razor – 8.41 (15% off) used 4.00 coupon
      poligrip .75oz. – 1.69 (15% off) used coupon free – 1.69
Used 10.00 register reward ( alive vitamin)
      paid oop- 1.20 + tax
      received 13.00 register rewards.

Did this three times. I had rr's from yesterday after buying alive vitamins. I still have 39.00 in rr's left. Yeah!!!

    • amanda

I should have checked here before I went! I just got home from Walgreens and didn't know that I was supposed to give the 15% off coupon first. But the cashier was super nice and redid my order. Also, I used it at a main register because there was no one in cosmetics or photo. There were no problems with that.

However, I have a question about the RR (I got $5 from the special K protein shakes). When it printed out the 1st time she rang me up, she pulled it out & laid it on the counter. So when she rang everything up again, she saw it laying there and asked if it was mine. I told her no, it came out with the 1st order. She said I could keep it and gave it to me. Of course, another one printed at the end of the “2nd” order. So now I have 2 $5RR from only buying 2 of the protein shakes. Am I going to be able to use the 1st RR since the order was voided?

      • Kathy

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. Yes, you can still use the RR!

        • Amt1218

Thats happened to me before too and it was awesome! BUT yesterday I had a lot of stuff and didn't know about giving them the 15% off first. So after she finished ringing everything she realized and had to redo everything. I had $27. RR roll out.. she looked at them a minute.. looked a me and then stuck them under the register. LOL… I wasn't about to ask for them. I would never do that. Now if she had offered them to me I would have made it clear that I shouldn't take them but if she still offered them I would have taken them. That was just way too many for her to just give them to me and I understood that. What I would like to know is what did she do with them after I left? Was she honest and ripped them up or turned them over to her manager?!? guess I will never know. I hope she did the right thing. :)

          • amanda

Thanks for the replies. I didn't expect it and wouldn't have asked for it. I think I was too shocked to say no when she handed it to me. LOL But it sure did come in handy today at Publix when I had to pay get 2 bags of a specific kind of chips for a last minute party at work tomorrow. $4/bag was really hurting my feelings until I remembered that I had the RR in my purse. It was my 1st time using RR at Publix, so I was pretty excited when the cashier told me they accept them. :)

    • Lisaegan36

That coupon was a pain. I made the mistake of going to the main register with it and they would not take it, so I had to take all my things over to the cosmetics counter to ring it up and then I did not get the RR back on the cereal I bought. Was it because I had the 15% coupon? I was in a hurry and forgot to ask the cashier

      • guest

the 15% coupon will effect RRs, it brings down the price, say you needed to by $10 worth of a brand you by 2 $5 items that makes the items $4.25 each, total of $8.50, which made you a $1.50 short of the needed amount for the RRs to print.

    • Belmontmklady

I gave the lady at the front register my coupon first but she didn't use it until the end and as you all said, it didn't work. She had to call the manager over, void the ticket, and re-ring my items after scanning the coupon. It worked this time and I was thrilled with the savings. I still received the RRs too!

    • Susanizanurse

Today, I shopped at Wags for the 3rd time since I started couponing. Like many, I just don't care for all the q acceptance inconsistencies, RR issues, keeping the # qs vs # items straight, etc… but alas, I had quite a few of the 2.50/2 Playtex qs I wanted to use since I prefer this brand. WOWZA, WOWZA am I doing the Wags waddle dance tonight!
I did 7 transactions & brought home (2) 1# bags Hershey's assorted miniature chocolates, (16) 8-bar packs Hershey's candy bars, (1) Veet gel, (2) 24 caplet boxes of Benadryl, (10) boxes Playtex Gentle Glide tampons, (1) Kotex 64 count pantyliners, (3) boxes Crayola crayons, & (1) .49 lighter (the only register “beep” I got due to a negative amount due so I had to grab something cheap). I used (7) 15% F&F qs & the other qs associated with these deals. I ended up saving 81%, spending 26$ out of pocket + bringing home $9 in RR so really spent around $18 out of pocket! I was VERY happy! Thanks to all of you who have helped a novice like myself figure this out a wee bit!

I never really go to Walgreen's but I've found out what I have been missing…I used the 15% coupon and a few coupons. My order came to $63 which I was a little hestitate but after all coupons…My order was $22. Yay!! I was able to get all things needed. Scott tissue, Diapers and wipes, 6 packs of loose leaf paper, 6 notebooks, peroxide, and 4 pacs of baby nipples. I wish I had some Walgreens rewards I guess… How do I obtain this for more savings?? please let me know.
