The Tylenol patches – on the CVS ad you listed a SS 2/19 $5 Tylenol Precise coupon.  Wouldnt it apply to the patches at Walgreens also and make the box of patches FREE?

      • Danigirl293

         That’s what I thought!

        • Victoria

I think CVS had it on sale for $5.99

      • Hi there. Yes that coupon would apply if you get it in your paper. But I’m not sure if we will get that coupon since it wasn’t in the preview. I hope we do! Then you can use it at Walgreens for a freebie!

    • C_hakes

      Another bummer ad :(

    • guest

I don’t think the Ocean Spray Fruit Snacks qpons should be used for the craisins.  They have gummy snacks that this qpon is meant for.

      • Zebby

        agreed

    • Mcleodsc

      pitiful ad!

    • Rachel

I got a 5 off proglide coupon i nthe mail so it will be a dollar after rr free got2be still free st joseph asprin still after rr and free tylenol percise with the new coupon that seems to come out each febuary and lasts onyl a week .

    • Fallaya

I did the Just For Men Rebate probably back in 2010…can I do it again?

    • bragging3

I did the Nature’s Bounty Ubiquinol 2 weeks ago when it was BOGO.  When you use the 2 $7 Red Plum coupons and scan the Walgreens coupon in the booklet, the register will take $22 off and not $29.  You still get this COQ10 at a great price, but it doesn’t turn out quite so cheap.  Hope this makes sense.

      • Robzwife33

Yes.  I just did the same thing today.  I didn’t end up getting it though.  I also had to pay tax on all the coupons and the “free” bottle.  So I just had them void it.  You are right, it is still a great deal, just wasn’t planning to spend that much.

        • Robzwife33

I only got the COQ10 and the charmin (5.99) and my total was $20.  So I just got the charmin only.    I also don’t think it should be done that way.  I think they should have taken off the 29 anyway.

    • Mywolfcubs3

Went tonight and got a gallon of milk( nothing special about that but needed it) got 13 chapstix that is on sale for .99 with coupon booklet coupon for $1 off = free just paid taxes for those and the then got the 6 pack of Scott for $3 each. Used in store coupon and manufacturer coupon. Paid like $9.36 for it all

      • Mar

did they let you do all 13 chapstix in one transaction?

        • Mar

also..did you have to use 13 individual coupons..or just one

        • Mywolfcubs3

yes all in one transaction and just one walgreens coupon:)

      • shoppingforus

13…hope you left some for others…just saying

        • Mywolfcubs3

          There were tons!!!!! Just saying…

      • Ashley

Did you get the red or black chapsticks or did you get the ones pictured on the coupon?

      • Jdurand2918

That’s actually been banned now. I work for Walgreens and we had a lady who came in and tried to buy over a hundred. The manufacturer has put out a message to Walgreens stating that they will not reimburse us if we use it on any product other than the spf 360 chapstick.

        • Walj

“Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines will be accepted at the discretion of Walgreens management.”

You are correct in those stores will not be reimbured, appearantly lots of stores lost lots of money due to this.  People trying to buy hundreds???  I wouldnt allow that at my store.  I try to be fair, but i need to take care of ALL my customers, not just one.

          • mrn1

Go look on ebay at the Chapstick for sale.  Pretty crazy…12 tubes of original Chapstick for $16.99.  Wow…I need to quit my full time job and coupon/ebay for a living.

    • i found a good deal at walgreens..well my sister did but i still love it none the less.  If your local walgreens had the feb coupon book which it should, it has a coupon in it for 1 dollar off a chaptstick.  meaning the individual ones.  Right now they have the chapstick on sell for 99 cents.  with the coupon it makes it free.  i dont know about you but it is i a good deal to me!

      • Jordynsmommy

Your store actually let u do the deal? I tried that and it beeped.  My store, the manager actually, (Shallotte, NC) said it is beeping cause it is for the one pictured only and would not override it. Bummer….

        • Thom

Happened for me that way. It even happened with the M&M coupon. The cashier told me because it was for specific bags… the 20% more bags. What the heck?!?! She did an override for the candy but not the chapstick. Not going back to that one!!

          • Guest

They really need to make their coupons more straightforward. The coupon says Chapstick Lip care , .15oz not a specific type. So I made that argument at checkout and she let me use it. I asked if I could get 3 and she said yes. I noticed afterward that the coupon says Limit one coupon per customer per offer. I don’t feel bad since someone else was able to get 13. I would never try to get that many.

            • Mywolfcubs3

And I don’t feel bad for getting 13 when there was multiple bins over flowing. Some of u amaze me, really what’s the big deal?.It’s not like I clearedthe shelf!!!

            • Guest

My comment was not rude and I stated that my store had plenty. I said I would not try to get 13 because my store would never had allowed it plus I don’t need that many they would expire before I could use them. You defend too much. Do what you want and let me do what I want. I was not judging you but apparently you feel free to judge me and call me rude.

            • Julissadania2004

I did this today great deal they still had more then 100 left

            • mrn1

Nothing wrong with 13…I got 16 and a friend got 24 yesterday.  The manager actually came over to me to tell me about the deal and encouraged me to buy it.  He stated he sold about 30 to a lady earlier.  I read where people were buying 75 and 100 at a time.

            • Romeo77746

Whats wrong with clearing shelves!!?? If they are free, THEY ARE FREE! get em while you can! First come First serve. When theres something I want and someone else takes em all I dont throw a fit, shoulda came sooner!

            • Mywolfcubs3

Right!!!!! I mean I personally don’t feel right clearing the shelf unless there is only a few left but your so right. Why make rude comments? And I came on here to share the deal with others that might not have known about it.

            •  It’s entitled attitudes like these that make me /facepalm.

You sound exactly like the reason I do not watch Extreme Couponing.

            • mrn1

Agree!  Go look on ebay at Chapstick for sale.  These people are clearing the shelves and selling the stuff on ebay…pathetic!

        • Me

It is Chapstick brand Chapstick that’s on sale for 99 cent. The regular price is $1.79. The sale price isn’t marked but it will ring up for 99 cent and the $1 off Chapstick brand coupon in the walgreens coupon book works perfectly fine and makes it free.

        • Hairxpert4

it’s because the coupon was for 1 penny more. They should have just made the coupon worth 99 cents. Then it works

      • Guest

Glad you posted this since I had to ask at the store if the Chapstick was .99, the bins were only showing the regular price and I didn’t see the sale price listed anywhere, the blistex bins were marked at .99. I asked if I could get 3 using the coupon and they let me. My store had a lot in stock.

    • Liz

Wow Walgreens, I have $14 of RR expiring this next week I was hoping to roll, you’re sure going to make it hard on me aren’t you?

      • CouponFairy

Agreed, nothing good as of lately, luckily my local grocery store takes Register Rewards!!  For the past 2 weeks or so I’ve had to use my RRs there.

      • Thom

Like CouponFairy I take my RR to the grocery store. I have NEVER rolled mine at Walgreens. They just don’t have what I want, enough of what I do want or they make it hard to get. I use the RR like free money at the grocery store and use it for items that don’t usually carry coupons (meat and fruit).

        • Tresswats

I don’t understand using rr at grocery stores. These are Walgreens coupons. Who else takes them??

          • Tea

            bi-lo

          • Mcleodsc

my Bi-lo won’t take them but Publix will.

          • Hairxpert4

no, they are manufacturers coupons. The cashier just needs to read the top of it. I always have to remind them at publix:)

    • CHI

I was going to get the neosporin trial pack but then i saw that it’s made in China and Canada.  I trust canadian products but the China part makes me uncomfortable.

      • Sarahh569

most everything we have is made in china…

      • JTTLC

I agree….I try very hard to buy USA and Canada…. when you make a habit of looking it is nice to know that you can make a difference in what you buy….

    • Gmcouponer

I was checking out the new inserts that get listed on EBAY early. I see that the RedPlum has a special coupon in it for the Tylenol Precise products. It will only last for a week it believe is what I read. Plus it is the 5.00 coupon you will need for the Walgreens sale this week to get them for free….

    • Melwitch

My Walgreens would not take 2 coupons for the Got2be products, just 1.

      • NMCouponer

Same here.  It seems when the item is off by a penny…that’s what causes it.  Not sure how to get around this.  CVS will mark down the coupon, but I asked the cashier at W, she said she couldn’t.  Anyone else know how to work this?

        • Xxcountrychickxx

my walgreens let me use 2 coupons…..got 8 bottles (:

          • dsmith

Their coupon policy clearly states that they should mark the coupon down. They even give an example about if the product is $4.99 and the coupon is $5.00, the coupon should be marked down to $4.99. Don’t know whey they don’t follow their own policy.

        • Jdurand2918

It really depends on the Walgreens store you are shopping at. Different ones have different feelings towards coupon usage. Generally they will take one manufacturer coupon per product. I am having my manager look at it tomorrow because its going on sale again.

        • Vicki

Yes, print their coupon policy and take it in. It specifically says that they will mark down the coupon if it is above the value. I have had this issue all week with several Got2B coupons, but I have resolved it each time with coupon policy in hand.

      • Walj

Speak to the manager or a different manager about that.  The second coupon would have to be made a penny cheaper, but well within the guidelines of our coupon policy.  Walgreens gets 2 coupons, still makes there money, you get free hair products.  There is no reason why they should not accept that at your store.

    • Kthlnddd

My walgreens wouldn’t accept 2 coupons for Got2be, but my daughter did the same transaction right before me and it worked for her.  She got both items for free.  Because the second coupon beeped for me they wouldn’t let me have both for free.  CVS is the best!

      • dezzybooboo

my q beeped too but my cashier took it no problem. i would try a different cashier or a different store. and i agree about cvs! :)

        • Net1lei2

CVS doesn’t have a 1 coupon per item policy…you can have 1 item and 2 coupons and that will go through with no problem.

      • Net1lei2

Well, I ran into a incident on B1G1 1/2 off…basically when i used a B1G1 q for the product they wanted to just let me have the one that was 1/2 off…I called corporate and needless to say I was informed that the policy hadn’t changed at all and the wal-greens that did this refunded my $21 back for the other 1/2!!! But the example the manager used was the B1G1 policy-you can use 1 coupon on each as long as it is for 1 item. example scenario: Osteo Bi Flex is B1G1, I have 2 q’s for $7/1,I use one for each bottle of osteo bi flex and pay $6.00 for both bottles! Yes you can use a coupon for each item as long as you have 1 coupon per item in cart…you may have needed a filler item in order to use it.
If you have 15 coupons you MUST have 15 items. Taffy at the counter is a great filler item!!! ;)

        • Mcleodsc

In the example above you are assuming that the Osteo will ring up in a normal manner. At my store you never know how much each one will ring up for-if the first one rings up at (just for example) at 10 and the second one at 5-then the register will beep on the second cpn and they won’t accept it. All BOGO sales ring up wonky/weird at my store. I do not know if this is happening at all stores.

      • Mamabeeotch28

i used 7 q and got them all for free……i love walgreens

      • Vicki

You have to print out their coupon policy and take it in. It specifically says that they will take two coupons on a BOGO, and it also says that if the coupon is more than the value, they will adjust it down. I had the same problem this week with the Got2B, but I was armed! They could not really argue when they saw their own policy.

    • Mcleodsc

does anyone know if there is a limit on the Kelloggs cereal? I want to use my $5/5 coupons.

      • Mcleodsc

Well I can answer my own question in case someone else wants to know the same thing. The ad says limit 4 but  I was able to buy 5-the 5th one was 2.99 instead of 2.50-so you need to buy in sets of two to get them at 2.50 per box.

        • angela

so use the 5/5 and find an additional coupon where you have to buy only one and like you said by in sets of two.thanks angela

        • Hairxpert4

hey–didn’t your publix have all kelloggs cereal for 50% off yesterday and today? I used my 5/5 there. Great deal!

          • Mcleodsc

Publix is over an hours drive for me

      • angela

where did you get the coupons at?just wondering angela

        • Mcleodsc

          coupons.com

      • Mcleodsc

    • Kcreviews

Does anyone know if HT takes RRs?

      • racecitymom

        mine does.

    • Net1lei2

The tylenol precise coupon in the insert for 2/19 is $5/1. It’s for 1 week only- so make sure you clip it n get it!!!!

    • Couponnewbie!

I have a question, I’m a new couponer and I am a little confused about the RR.  For example – I went to Walgreens today for the Neosporin Eczema products.  I tried buying the two trial packs and used the two $5 off coupons, but my RR didn’t print out! The cashier and the manager, that just so happened to be standing there(lol), told me my pre-coupon total had to be $20.  Never had this happen before. needless to say I returmed the items and got my coupons back until I could do further research!  help please fellow couponers!!

      • Stella

That sale starts tomorrow!  Try again in the morning.

      • Seniorgraduate2012

you get your coupons back?? i tried refunding some toothpaste once, but the cashier told me i could only get the money i spent back, not the coupons.

        • Couponnewbie!

Yes I did get my coupons back from the manager no problem!!

    • Gmcouponer

I called my  WAGS and they said some of the sale prices may go into effect early on Saturdays but the RR are not scheduled to print until the next day.

      • Mcleodsc

asst manager told me to come back at 4:30 for the cereal because the sales activate then.  If the sales are activated then the RR should print

        • Jordynsmommy

my WG said the same thing as Gmcouponer’s, sales are activated but you will not get RR’s till Sunday morning.  Hope it works for you though, that would be awesome :)

        • Walj

The weekly ad that is activated saturday night(usually 3-6 at most non 24 hr stores) is a completely seperate function in the computer than register rewards, so the RR do not activate until sunday morning.

    • guest

My Wags reduces the first Nature’s Bounty Ubiquinol to $22.99 (using the $7 sq) & then takes off $22.99 for the second bottle.  It DOES not take the $7 sq off twice – total due is $9 plus tax.

    • SherryG

My WAGS did take all coupons for the Ubiquinol (I bought 4 of them).  I had 4 manufacturers and then the $7 WAGs coupon also.  But then it took $45.98 off for the two that were free, instead of $59.96.  So I had to spend $27 + for four bottles.  More than I thought I would spend, but still a good deal.

    • Perturbed

Walgreens has these great bargains and the register reward program in hopes that you will buy something besides the deals.  You really can’t complain about getting ripped off when all you buy are the deals.  Personally, I look forward to the day when they stop the RR program and make you spend at least $20 extra in order to get the deals.  I have been in a Walgreens, standing behind you extreme couponers, when you are at the register.  No one can get any service because you are holding up the line.  They have 4 registers total in the store and there is always one of you at each register on a Sunday morning.  If you appreciate Walgreens, like you say, then buy something else in order to help their business.  If you like CVS better, then please kindly go there so that others can get checked out.

      • VP22

So just out of curiosity, if you do not like couponers, why are you on a site for couponers?

        • Perturbed

I am researching why Walgreens allows you couponers to basically take over the store at the expense of other customers.  I can go wherever I want.  I also forgot to add how many times I have seen you people be extremely rude to the cashiers.

          • VP22

I was not trying to offend you. Just trying to understand why you would want to be on a sight that caters to something you do not like. Not all people who coupon are rude. I have never been rude to another customer or cashier.
I don’t hold up lines, I don’t clear shelves. There is no reason for anyone, couponer or not, to be rude to anyone. Most of us are just trying to stretch the dollar. True, there are those who abuse the system but you can say that about most anything.

            • Perturbed

I understand your viewpoint.  You must also understand mine, please.  If you are doing this because it is a way to feed your family, then fine.  From what I have seen, people are only buying the deals just to get great bargains and register rewards.  The girl in front of me, a few weeks ago, was buying Estroven, something that she evidently doesn’t need at her age, just to get back a $10 register reward.  It is these people that I am speaking of.

            • VP22

I can understand and very much respect your viewpoint. My point was just that “most” of us are really great, thoughtful, respectful people.

            • Wendyl911

Actually ALL manufactors coupons pay the stores back for the value of those coupons PLUS so.. The stores who accept them are more than happy to accept them because it pays more than your cash does. You have no right to judge what anyone is buying or the amount they are buying. My sons are into sports BIG TIME and those tylenol patches and creams are PERFECT for their mild sports related injuries, so I bought all I could for FREE of course :) and DONATED it to the athledic department. SO its going to help at the very least 400 students, should anyone need it & their parents cant afford it, guess what they ALL can have and use whatever they need.

            • VP22

              Hey Wendy. I totally agree with you. Hopin your reply was meant for someone other than me. I’m on your team;-}

            • Wendyl911

No hun it was for the conversation, mostly for the person who thinks couponing is such an inconvience to the world. Not everyone has money to piss aways on things they buy. Even if I did I would still be using coupons. Im sure I can always find other things to spend that money on.

            • VP22

              You are a kindred coupon spirit :-}

            • Vicki

Whoa…I bought some of the Estroven…it’s the only thing that allows me to get some sleep at night. You probably wouldn’t think that I would need it “at my age” either. I certainly would not make these sweeping assumptions. As far as only buying deals, please keep in mind that Walgreen’s register rewards are actually manufacturer’s coupons, so they get reimbursed when we redeem them. Consider all of the products that they sell due to this program – trust me, they are very well compensated. I am personally never at Walgreen’s on Sunday mornings, and if you have had such bad experiences on Sunday mornings, why on earth wouldn’t you go at another time? You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I will continue to visit my Walgreen’s; and there will be times that I will be there only for the great deals. I believe that I have as much right as anyone else, regardless of what I am or am not buying.

            • Perturbed

Try Melatonin on its own.  It not only helps you sleep but it also reduces cholesterol.  At least 4mg a night.

            • mrn1

Melatonin and Estroven are completely different products with different effects.

            • Vicki

Thank you. I have tried melatonin on its own. I have also tried the ingredients in Estroven nighttime on their own. Believe me, when I say that absolutely nothing has helped until this product, I am sure about that. I have tried OTC meds, prescription meds, naturals, etc. This is the only thing that has been successful for me after several years of a major issue.

            • Vicki

Without the $10 register reward being offered, I never would have tried this product. It has positively impacted a huge issue for me. Yay, register rewards!

            • shesqueeks

Maybe she was buying it for someone else. What business is that of yours? It’s still a free country (well almost) isn’t it.

            • Perturbed

It’s my business when I have to wait in line 10 to 20 minutes behind her.  You are most definitely displaying the attitude that I see at Walgreens.

            • Sparen und nix zahlen

First of all not everyone is a extreme couponer people just try to save money why pay retail if I can save maney. If you know what time theygo to your Walgreens than go a different time.. ;)

            • mrn1

And how would you know whether she needed the Estroven or not?

            • Tracy

You are making assumptions that you cannot possibly know. For one thing, Estroven is for anyone with a estrogen deficiency. I personally have been on an estrogen supplement since I was 22 years old. That’s the age I was when I had to have a total hysterectomy due to disease. So while in some ways I DO see the point your trying to make, I also see that you are being very prejudice to an entire group of people based on what you “think”. How about you try to be a little more open minded, and I’ll try to make sure I’m also kind and courteous to other customers?

            • mrn1

And we are not supposed to buy “the deals just to get great bargains and register rewards”?  Isn’t that why stores have sales?

            • Lwhetzel624

Just because the person buying the product does not look like they need it, maybe they are buying it for someone that needs it. Or maybe they are buying it just for the RR to buy other products they will use, and then they will donate it is a womens shelter that will use it. You cannot ASSUME (which you know what that means) if you do not know there situation.

          • lauren

I always check out at the makeup counter and leave the registers open for others. I am never rude or ugly and the sales person usually coupons also so we get along great. I’m sorry you see couponers this way but for some of us it’s the way our family gets to eat every week. So don’t group all couponers in same boat. People do what they do to survive nowdays.

            • Perturbed

              Then you are unique.  :)

            • Nitaroyal

No, she is not.  I, and many others, do our best to NOT be a problem in the store. Personally, I always go to the cosmetic counter, and shop when the store is quiet.  If anyone else joins the line, I complete my transaction, and let the other people through.  I do this at every store, to avoid annoying grouchy people like you.

            • Donna

You are either jealous of our successes or just a very unhappy person.  For some of us stay at home moms, couponing is a way of keeping our brains active.  I coupon because I choose to, I am a stay at home mom because I choose to be.  I am also a college educated woman with a BS in Accounting, Finance and Marketing.  I hold an MBA with a concentration in Corporate Finance.  Don’t belittle us because we are smart consumers.  Some coupon because they want to, others because they have to.  Either way it’s our choice and we deserve to shop without explaining our reasons to people like you.  Since you hate couponers get off of our site and start your own non-couponer site.  I bet you won’t have as many posters as we do.

          • dsmith

Let this guy do his ‘research’. He will find that Walgreens let’s couponers ‘take over the store’ because they are BUYING. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to come to that conclusion. Every customer deserves the same amount of courtesy and respect.

        • cynthia

perturbed: you are so wrong. there are coupons out there, we use them, why are you so angry.

      • mrn1

Not everyone holds up the line and not every couponer is rude.  I always try to let people ahead of me and I never do more than one transaction if there are others in line, I go to the back of the line.  You don’t need to assume all of us “extreme couponers” are that way.  I consider myself a strategic couponer.  I shop for the best deals for me and my family and friends and provide things for them through couponing that I wouldn’t normally be able to afford.  It is quite interesting that you are commenting on a coupon blog when you pretend to hate couponers so badly.

      • Rebecca

Let me just start off by saying I WORK AT WALGREENS.  I would not have started couponing if it wasn’t for this fact because I saw how much people saved.  The entire year I have worked there I have only had maybe 1 or 2 couponers even slightly rude to me.  Most of the couponers that come in there are extremely nice and some of my best customers.  If you really want to do adequate “research” then maybe you shouldn’t base your entire perspective off of one or two shopping trips and get a full view of the situation.  I work there 40 hours a week and have never had a single problem.  When someone gets in line they usually move to the back of the line as others have said or they check out in cosmetics.  Please get your facts straight before you start slandering everyone on this site.

maybe go to church on sun morn-not a line there-might even help your day be better-see u there

      • Guest

Why do you go to Walgreen’s on Sunday mornings if you know a line will be there? Are you just looking for something to complain about?

Question for those in the Birmingham area. I want to do the got2b deal this week. I went to the Walgreens in Trussville the other day and got the b1g1 vitamins but it only took 22.99 off for the second bottle instead of 29.99.  So I wonder if the same would happen with the got2b. It also seems that a lot of other people are having problems with the got2b deal.  Do any of you know which Walgreens would be the best? My choices are Trussville, CenterPoint, Roebuck and Gardendale.     Thanks for  your help.

      • Vicki

I take the coupon policy printed from their website into the store. The second coupon will beep and they need to know up front not to scan it because it has to be adjusted down by 1 cent. Their coupon policy states very clearly that this is how it should be done.

        • Robzwife33

          Thank you , Vicki

To Perturbed: I don’t know what you think you are accomplishing here. Are you jealous that you aren’t able to coupon the way we do? Let me tell you that I am a single mom and have two children to support. I absolutely began couponing as a necessity, and now just since November I have a small closet of food saved so my children and i will never go hungry. Thanks to couponing i will never have to get food stamps (there are others who may need them more than me), and i am able now to DONATE, after just a few months, to a local organization. I feel good about what i do and i am ashamed to say i don’t know why i let myself get so embarrassed when im checking out and people like you are behind me! Maybe because you are so quick to judge without knowing any of us or what our lives are like. I’m happy for you that you are so wealthy and don’t feel the need to coupon, but in my case and others i’m sure, i will do anything i can to support my family-and if i take 2 or 3 minutes extra because i have a few coupons and got there 5 minutes earlier than you, it’s something i won’t apologize for. God bless~

It is best to just ignore people like this. Everyone must vent about what makes them angry or gets on their nerves. We all have that in common,
so if they see a problem and choose not to do something about it, then that’s just it, its their problem. Let everyone vent and get over it. Lets not fuel anger or pettiness with trying to get them to see things our way. We are not going away, this is a way of life, it provide for our family and helps others. Many acted the same way when people began to use checks instead of cash. Any hold up would get them annoyed, we pay for our stuff just like you do. We deserve to do that in the best way we can to save money and help our family. Ask your stores when is it best to come in, there are times when the stores are not so busy. We are all sorry you were put out by this but if you wanted to do something about you chose to go about it the wrong way. You should have taken it up with the person right then and there. Not get on here and accuse and upset people who are trying to get buy….Please think about what you do. And if you don’t have the courage to tell them face to face leave it alone. Hiding behind words is still hiding…..  I hope your next visit is a better one….

This is to go out to people, like perturbed, who are what my husband call pot stirrers.

    • NiaLee

I went to my Wags this morning and all of the Tylenol patches were gone – no big surprise… so I price matched at Wal-mart (not my fav store, but the only one that price matches near me). I wasn’t upset that they were all gone. Couponing is so popular where I live (a surburb of Atlanta). Alot of stay at home moms are able to help support their families by couponing.

    • Lisa

I just ordered extra Tylenol coupons and really hope that by the time I get them, there’s some on the shelves either at Wags, CVS or Rite-Aid.  I was in a car accident this past weekend and injured my shoulder.  I could really use all that I can stock-pile, as I’ve already burned through several.

    • Gmcouponer

For every one to know I asked my CVS if they price matched the cost at Walgreens. They said they could but could not match the RR. Now keep in mind you can get a raincheck from CVS as well and if you get it while the coupon is in date they will honor most all coupons. Because they did not carry enough product to ensure sales. Just a note as them to write just in case to honor coupon if it is going to expire soon….

    • so I got 30 of the tylenol patches and 11 of the creams. Went to 3 different walgreens. didn’t clear any shelves at any of them. I was shocked that all 3 walgreens had them still stocked and it was after noon before I went out. I didn’t hold up any lines, I didn’t get or give any attitudes and my husband will use all of them eventually. I was excited because I almost always miss the good deals because I have to wait til mid week to go. Yay me!!

      • Hairxpert4

there were none left at mine:(

      • Mcleodsc

I got 10 earlier-I only had 10 coupons. The shelves may be still stocked because not all newspapers carried the coupon. The newspapers here=(Sumter)THE ITEM and  THE STATE(Columbia) did not have the coupon.

    • cynthia

why is walgreens giving me a problem when the coupon exceeds the product value??? they wouldnt let me get the got2 be gel for free. they even told me i was only alllowed to use one coupon for two of the products since one of them was ringing up as free. this is crazy , this doesnt make since because they arent honoring their coupon policy … someone help me…

      • Gmcouponer

All Wags does this even mine and they are some of the best people I know. In order for me to have used my 2 coupons for the got2b deal I  had gotten a few of them a week ago. I added a .10 cent filler item. When the coupon is more than the item it will beep because it is wanting to eat up some of the tax. WAGs will not allow that so ask them to add a piece of candy or something. You will be able to use it then, the manager at my store did this and that is what we figured out….Hope it helps

        • Vicki

This was an issue for me as well, although adding a filler item did not solve the problem. You’re still getting into the taxes – the only way that it’s worked for me was for them to reduce the amount of each 2nd coupon by 1 cent. This is also what their coupon policy directs, so I started taking a copy of it in with me…I went to several stores for the Got2B products, so I learned pretty quickly what would need to happen for them to honor the coupon. It’s definitely a great deal!!!

          • Mcleodsc

I purchased 10 of the GOT2B today. The first thing the cashier said was I don’t think the register will allow all these coupons. I asked her to ring them up and see. The register accepted one for each product even tho the 1st one rang up at 5.99 and the second one $0.

      • Rebecca

I work at walgreens and this is not part of their coupon policy.  you should have talked to a manager.  If i ever have a problem at any store I usually just bring a copy of the policy with me next time.  the policies are always available online for the public.  Walgreens policy is if the coupon is over the product value then the coupon needs to be manually adjusted so that it does not exceed the total transaction before tax.  Their policy also says that you can use one manufacturer coupon and one store coupon per item so as long as you were buying 2 items the coupons would have been fine even if one of  them was free.  The fact that the cashier said this was crazy to me.  I hope if you bring back the printed policy that the cashier does what they are supposed to do and follows the official corporate policy.

      • JTTLC

My Lancaster, SC store will only let me use one coupon if something is BOGO….:(

        • Vicki

You really need to print out a copy of that portion of their coupon policy (from their website) and take it in. What they are doing is completely against their own policy. If they do not adhere to it, you should call customer service. Good luck!

    • Ludki

Got 2 got2 be today and paid only $.40! I love it!
i just asked them if they could adjust the coupon amount to my purchase amount and they did it!

      • Vicki

Wow! Your sales tax rate must be great! Ours is 7% here in Florida, so I pay $.84 for two – still a fantastic deal!!

      • Mcleodsc

I paid sales tax today at WAGS on the total BEFORE coupons-never noticed it before but my CVS charges taxes on the total after coupons.

    • Manda

Does anyone know if the Got2b BOGO is a regional sale?  It is not listed in the Columbia Walgreen’s insert and the stores do not have it marked.

    • Missyba

I can’t find the $5 coupon for the Tylenol Precise…was that even in the redplum this week, because it wasn’t in mine….=(

      • sjgsjg

        I didnt get it either

      • Mcleodsc

I ordered 10 inserts and got them today. They had the $5 Tylenol Precise  The State newspaper that I bought did not have the coupon.

    • Vicki

There is a $3/2 coupon for Right Guard at Coupons.com for zip 44114. This makes the deal this week only 75 cents each!

Can anyone get the rebate to print for the “Buy $50” on Neosporin?

      • Hello, I have changed the link in our database to a direct Smart Source link to the rebate. Go ahead and try to print it now. The old link required you to sign up on their website which is probably where you were getting stuck. Thanks!

        • alowde1

Nope, still says unauthorized user. The coupon works fine, but I can’t get the mail in rebate to print, it goes to a J& website that tells me I’m unauthorized.

    • jessc5

My Walgreens in Johnson City TN has 1lb sweet-cream salted butter for 99 cents!!!  Could not believe it!

    • Sandy M

I hit the Walgreens today for the 2/.88 toilet paper, bought 40 rolls, so glad they were not limited, and, they had alot…………with the stash I have now I won’t have to buy for the rest of the year, yay!

    • Jsnana41

HELP! went to get the nature bounty 29.99 bogo they let me use 2 manu. cpns. but they also had store cpn. for 7.00. that would have been 28.00 off. when they rang it up the free one was only 22.99 but they charged me 29.99 for 2 . i ended up paying 12.49  instead of 1.99 plus tax

    • Alibaker02

I went to Walgreens today to purchase the got2b sale products and was told I couldn’t use the 4 coupons I had.  The sale was to buy 1, get same item free.  I had 4 coupons for $3 off.  She stated that I couldn’t use all 4 coupons based on a memo she received on Monday requiring that they will only accept 3 coupons on like items.  When I asked if I could just do 2 coupons per transaction, she stated that it didn’t matter how I tried to do it, that she would only take 3 coupons from me.
The online coupon policy doesn’t state this.  It states that the number of coupons can’t exceed the number of items purchased (which in this case it didn’t) and it states that Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.  It doesn’t state that they have the right to limit the number of coupons that can be used.
Am I wrong?  I sent an email to corporate.  Wondering if that will do anything.

    • Nomorewags4me

I am never going to Walgreens again. Today I bought 3 of the same thing and have 3 coupons. The cashier made me do 3 separate transaction because the coupon says one coupon per purchase. I said its limit 4 of the same coupons per shopping trip. Then she said “sweetheart do u know what one per purchase is?” I said well its more work on you then she said that’s what I get paid to do. Weird.

I Couldn’t use 2 got2b coupons when I buy 2 items also. She said going back to before….only one coupon per purchase. I said wags coupon policy says one coupon per item. Then she said they go with what the manufacturer coupon says.

Arggggg so frustrating and I can’t really argue back too good with them so I left.

      • Vicki

Yes…frustrating. I have noticed that this tends to happen when there are coupon issues, like the Got2B deal when the second coupon beeps. They do not understand that ‘per purchase’ means ‘per item’ and it would help if the manufacturers worded it differently. I have pointed out to them that ‘every’ coupon in their drawer has this wording, and I actually had a manager at Walgreen’s tell me that they have NEVER taken like coupons. Whaaaaat??? Wrong. I told him that he was absolutely incorrect and that we couponers typically know what we’re doing. I have now gotten into the habit of taking their coupon policy (printed from their website) with me when I shop at Walgreen’s or CVS (this same thing as happened to me there). Usually when I show them their own policy, they follow it. It’s amazing that these stores do not train their employees in so many cases, especially when so many of us are now using coupons in this economy. Just start taking the coupon policy with you and make it a mission to educate them, both for yourself and the next shopper. We shouldn’t have to do this, but apparently we do.

        • Net1lei2

Vicki, I showed the cashier the coupon policy and she didn’t know how to adjust the coupon value…she called an assistant manager and the assistant seems to be the one that had the problem taking the coupon! She said it was because you don’t pay for the second item…kinda strange I didn’t pay for the 3rd item either but it took the coupon! Some people in those positions act like we are ripping them off! They are scared we are going to save too much money…Making Wal-Mart look better everyday! Price match at Wal-Mart(*note* I despise Wal-Mart) and Wal-Mart now allows the overage to be applied to your final bill!

          • Vicki

Wow! Well, I can see where the coupon policy could be interpreted that way. Here is what it says: Buy One, Get One Free Coupons
When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased. Sales tax must be paid for any Buy One, Get One Free coupon offers, if required by applicable state laws. It does say that we can use two coupons IF the net price does not fall below zero, so on the Got2B deal, technically, it is 1 cent below zero. Hmmmm..

    • Net1lei2

Well, seems the got2b coupons were not the hit they should have been…coupon policy specifially states that you can use 2 coupons on B1G1 sale as long as it doesn’t go below the sale price. Then in another statement it sales that if a sale item is lower than the coupon amount, Walgreens will reduce the value of the coupon to equal the amount that is left example( $5.99 B1G1 sale, 2 coupons @ $3…second coupon will have to be lowered to $2.99 for the register to take it! Cashier told me I could only use 2 for the 4 bottles I purchased due to the fact that the total amount due for the sale was $11.98…it took 3 coupons with no beep and would have taken the 4th if she would have done like the policy states!
I think Walgreens is just trying to get people in there then changing the rules of the game in the midst of it!!!! Oh well, $2.98 was a pretty good deal on the hairspray but sure didn’t beat the FREE Tylenol Precise!
      @e24a32b562569c83c21fa897dc78ad8a:disqus

However, BEWARE when you go to Walgreens, they are getting as bad as Wal-Mart about coupons!!!! Good luck shopping!

      • Nomorewags

I agree, they are getting as bad as Wal-Mart! They wouldn’t accept but one of my got2b coupons even thoug the policy states otherwise. I think I will stick to RA or CVS from now on.
