Wow this is a sad week for WAGS, LOL

      • Dianak9938

CVS looks like a good week so I guess it will make up for wags sad little ad lol

        • Lindsey

Yep I noticed that too, CVS looks a lot better.

          • Angelascoupons1

Well, CVS didn't look much better to me, since I no longer need baby stuff.  I was so hoping for some major deals for using some of my soon to be expiring coupons!  HT was not great this week either…but of course we have super doubles in the near future!

          • KATIE

RIGHT! FREE FREE FREE CHICKEN BROTH ! YUM! YUM AT CVS

    • Sara

I have to say I've only been couponing for about a month now and I think the customer service at Wags is really poor compared to CVS. I went there today and bought 2 Dial body washes, used two 2.00 off dial coupons and a 2.00 register reward and the cashier acted like that was a hassle. Since I paid just sales tax for the body washes I dealt with it but Walgreens really needs to focus more on customer service. Sad ad.

      • Angelascoupons1

Sara, it totally depends on your store.  My Walgreens is fabulous…they really work with me and are so patient with the multiple transactions.  I hate to say it…but maybe you need to “shop around” for the right Walgreens!  There really are differences.

        • Syndilew

We have 5 Wags in our town and they are all horrible!  They don't know how to adjust down a q so they simply refuse to take it “because that would mean that you would be getting it for free”.  Verbatim this is what I have been told.  I have called corporate multiple times to either not get a response and told that someone from upper management would be give me a call and have them never call me back or to have them try to placate me without doing anything to change the store policy.  I have also shopped at a Wags in Fl and had this same experience so I don't think that Wags is that qpon friendly!

      • Khjbcoupns

my walgreens is the best as well… i love the young lady who helps me…she is so patient and even helps me figure out which rr to use when… i really dont see a significant difference in any of the major 3 drug stores… each store has its own personality… i am so thankful for the store that i use…

        • Angelascoupons1

I completely agree.  I am lucky that in my area, I have a great CVS, Walgreens and Harris Teeter.  Now there are some of each of those stores nearby NOT as good as the ones close to me.  My WAGs ladies even cut coupons and share them with customers.  And the CVS I go to has a coupon basket at the register (take one, give one).  Obviously, these stores love couponers!

      • CJ

Was she saying that you had too many coupons?  If you only had 2 body washes, 2qs and 1rr, you would need a filler.

      • tigger

Not all the walgreens have poor customer service. I work for walgreens and we actually order cases of sale items for anyone who calls in and request it. Yes things are limited but we get around it by ring up mutiple transactions. We also have one person assigned to this so the other customers dont have to wait. We value our coupon using customers.

        • Tonisewcrazy

I shop at 3 different walgreens and they have all treated me very well.

    • If you use the B1G1 and $2 Gillette Body Wash coupons, you can get 2 for $1.00 ($0.50 each).

      • Katkoupon

I'm wondering if we'll have any trouble with that. Say shelf price is $4.99. If you buy 2 for $9.98, use bogo first, that will deduct $4.99, then you use the $2 off coupon, leaving a $2.99 balance. then you scan the sq which will try to take off $2 for each bottle, but this will be less than zero, so it may beep. If you give the store coupon first, then the cpt may treat it like a mq (it does at my store) and reject your mq. I haven't tried this exact situation before, so I am curious how it will turn out. You might can just use the bogo (if they take of shelf price) and the sq and save your $2 off coupon. Should still come out to $0.99. I may be totally wrong, just thinking out loud…

        • I don't do those kind of coupon match-ups often and have never done it with a Walgreens price reduction coupon. We'll see….

    • Sarcasticnagel_82

While its not a lot of free stuff I do like doing the deal w/the mushrooms and the tomato sauce every time it comes up. I use a lot of each of them!

      • jessc5

My kids LOVE the mandrian oranges!

    • Walgreens in West Columbia S.C. still has lots ofthe air wick and the gillette razor as well as the bayer and the dail body wash all located in the cos dept.

    • Creativechick369

Sara I really understand where you are coming from. I have been couponing for about two months and that is the most diffcult store to coupon at.

      • Sarcasticnagel_82

It gets a little better once you get use to it but CVS is the easiest I will agree!

        • Tonisewcrazy

I haven't tried cvs yet, I normally shop walgreens, kroger, giant eagle and meijer and just thought 4 stores was enough, but if there are deals out there i'm missing @ cvs I'd better get on the band wagon.

    • Sarcasticnagel_82

It says no cupons left for the soft scrub 1.50 off….anyone else have this problem? Any other links/cupons for that one out there?

      • AM

Same here. Guess they ran out.

      • swaltz

none left (after they got my info)

      • Becka

        Mine came up .75

    • Mandy

man and I have lots of 99 cent RR from the Sobewaters last week that expire next week. I stocked up on them while they were “free” since myself and husband love them

      • Katkoupon

I have 3 of the Sobe's expiring too. I'll be buying eggs with mine and going home. Nice quick trip, I hope.

      • Liz

Hmmm so people like you are the reason I couldn't find just 1 Sobe water at any of my Walgreens

        • Teri

I know I had 2 go to three stores but finally found a huge supply, but didn't want to be a piggie so only bought 4.  Late I found out they were substituting 2 liters of Pepsi.  I wish I would have known.

      • coolcoupondude

        me too they are good

    • Mel_Jolley

yay! I dont have to deal with Wags this week!!!

    • ps

Maybe I'm just really tired but it made me laugh to see “this is a sad little ad.”  Thanks for that!  :)

    • ireneY

Time to cash in those RR! According to iheartwags' preview for the following week, it doesn't look any better.

      • Mom of 4

How do you see the ads that far in advance?

        • ireneY

          At iheartwags dot com.

      • CouponBoy5

These next 2 weeks are a great time tocash in RRs as there will be several free after mail-in rebate products and you are allowed to use RRs and still get the full rebate.

        • ireneY

Have you gotten rebate checks back from Wags before? Others have complained about not getting them on previous offers. I was just going to spend it on things I “need.”

    • Wwkkss07

Register Reward question:  When you buy a product that has a limit, can you not receive the RR again for that product…or is it just that purchase, day, week, month, etc.?  Thanks

      • guest

        just for that transaction

    • Pjdoty

I could really use the lime away for my shower doors.  Does anyone have extra coupons -.75/1 Lime Away cleaner, SS 4/10 (EXP 06/19) that they are willing to trade or share?

      • Teri

Something else that is awesome is don't laugh the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner the kind w/the nosel.  This will eat thru anything.  Just leave it on area u want to clean if super gross wait a couple of days you may need to apply more than once.  We have renters & this is my secret weapon.

      • Katie

        hello there
one great tip for you.  Use baking soda for water stain on glass shower doors. enviroment friendly, low cost and very effective.  my son has allergy. i cannot use any chemical out there.  trust me . try baking soda! work like a magic

    • JenniferDavidGA

Quick Question…If my RR says expires on the 19th can I use it on the 19th?

      • Lindsey

        Yes!

      • Moore0902

        yes

    • guest

I have only been couponing for a few months but have yet to stop in at walgreens.. nothing in their ads is ever worth it for our family.. i have much better luch at cvs.. does anyone else feel that way?

      • Appleshell

Walgreens actually has some awesome deals. The problem is whether you'll be lucky enough to find the product in stock. If you aren't there when the doors open, you miss out on a lot of things. I love CVS, though. Even if they run out of items, their customer service (at least the one I shop at) is enough to keep me coming back. They're helpful, they're patient in dealing with coupons (especially if you get back in line if you have multiple transactions so as not to hold up their line), and they treat you more like a friend instead of a number. Not all CVS's are like this, but most of the ones I've been in ARE. Just find one you like and stick with that one. It works out better if you become a “regular” and form a sort of rapport with the folks who work there. :-)

        • Tinapre33

That is exactly how the CVS is in Inman SC. The managers and employees are like friends and very helpful! I'd like to give a shout out to my local store's manager Donna!! She is fantastic.

    • Appleshell

I think it's been 3 weeks since I shopped at a Walgreens. Each trip seems to get worse than the last, so I haven't really had any desire to put myself through another one. There's always the suspense of whether or not the ONLY cashier I like will be working. Even the manager that I THOUGHT I liked, turned out to be a douche bag (can I say douche bag on here?). He told me once that they LOVE people who use coupons, because they get money for them either way. He was so friendly when I pulled out my coupons and RR's one week. However, a week later, when I had to return a can of shaving gel (no coupon had been used on it) and EXCHANGE a Garnier hair product for the one I meant to grab, he acted like I was ruining his whole stinkin' day. The store wasn't busy, so it's not like I was holding up a line, either. Plus, last time I went there…on a THURSDAY…the ad still wasn't up! I was struggling with finding the right items on sale by using only the ad and my SS shopping list. And, of course, they were out of most everything, although they get their truck in on Thursdays, and I always shop late in the evening.

      • nicole

I dont  blame you!!!! I refuse  to shop at  any walgreens! They are always rude no matter which one I shop at. They do have wonderful deals most weeks but it's not worth the hassle to me.

        • friend

Just take the ad and go to walmart . I wonder if they will take the price after register rewards, so it will be the same as walgreens?

          • Appleshell

That's a nice thought. I'd love to know if they'd do that. LOL Personally, I try to avoid our Walmart because it is on the busiest, backed-up and bottle-necked road in our entire county. You know how it is…the city finds ONE road and decides to put every store and restaurant on it, thinking it will be “convenient” to have everything in one area for you, when in fact it makes you want to avoid that area like the plague because it takes 20 minutes to get from one light to the next, and the bumper to bumper traffic means more car accidents. Seriously, what were these people thinking?  (Jeez, with the way I'm ranting the past few days, I think I need to find a sale on Midol! LOL)

            • me

just had to respond–my lord I am cracking up literally at your post
so so freaking funny hahaha think my first laugh of the week–so thanks a tom
              love it so so true

    • Jlnwdw

Everyone knows Walgreens is super particular about their coupons.  At my walgreens they don't carry the w/ Zout Purex so this coupon will not work.  Make sure you are getting it w/ zout because if not they won't take it.  I find this happens a lot with the matchups from this site

    • Robyn

I guess we are blessed with a wonderful Walgreens staff. Before I started couponing, I had a cashier show me a coupon in the ad that I missed and explained stacking. They have always been awesome.

    • momof3

Glad it's just not me I quit going to Walgreens too unless it is something fantastic. CVS is so much nicer as they give reward bucks even after the sale has ended…Walgreens does not. See you at CVS

    • couponcrzy

I shop at both  WAGS & CVS  in both St. Augustine, Fl and Palatka, Fl. and am extremely impressed with both stores in both towns!! Everyone in both of the stores are very nice and helpful. I have a blast every time I go. I guess I am just lucky!!

      • girlfreind

It is qute refreshing to finally hear something positive about walgreens thank you so much for that most all of us work hard for all our customers.

    • Deesinru2

there is a renuzit adjustable air freshener coupon for B2G1 in i think it was 6/12 redplum.

    • One less store to go to this week then!

    • Hschmid82

I live in a small town our wags is new and ilove it, wags is wayyyyyy cheaper than cvs on everything

    • Victoria

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I'm finished with Walgreens…. I went last week to purchase the All Detergent (there was a coupon in the ad for 2/$7), I went in with NO COUPONS, I was out and needed laundry detergent asap. I got to the register and I had two bottles of soda and two bottles of All. The cashier rang me up and when I handed her the ad for her to scan the coupon, she told me I would have to take my items and wait at another register for the store manager to come ring me up. When I asked why she stated “because you couponers are abusing the system.” There were customers behind me, I was beyond embarrased. I just wanted the sale price !!

      • Raynesmw

You need to totally call headquarters. That is beyond being rude.

        • Victoria

I called regional and still havent heard anything back…. I guess thats how Walgreens views customers now :(

          • Mandi3068

I am a couponer and work for walgreens. My store is not like that. We invite customers to save with us. I as an employee am appalled at the treatment that you received but please don't look badly on my company because of the ignorance of one employee. I would sugest calling 1-800-walgreens. They will handle the matter quickly. Please give us another try.

            • Coupons4slk

I agree, I am a couponer and a walgreens corporate employee. You will receive the fastest response through 1-800-walgreens, make sure you get that employee's name and please be detailed because the phone call is converted to an email and sent directly to the store manager as well as that manager's supervisor and it has to be responded to and corrective action taken in so many hours. There are always 3 cash registers open with one back up, and you may check out photo, cosmetics or up front. Many stores are preferring that time-consuming coupon transactions or multiples be taken care of at the cosmetic register, which is also where returns and adjustments are done. Which saves time so if you are at the main register and there is an issue you will not have to move your entire transaction to be rerang and adjusted at the cosmetics counter.

          • I just wrote an email about our Walgreens here in Florida! I went to walgreens.com and wrote the email. The next day the manager from that store called me and apologized for his employees and said he would retrain all of them. I have been in there twice this month with coupons and with the right coupons to match the right deals and the cashier seen me coming and threw her hands in the air and said “great, coupons!” I only had like four items. I dont know why they make it out to be such a big deal. but the manager admitted that walgreens has a bad reuptation for rude employees and he would “strive to make sure that doesnt happen again” :(

            • jhoran

Next time that happens, I suggest you throw your hands in the air and say “great, rude employees!”

      • Mcleodsc

Please report this cashier. Would you want her to treat your Mom or daughter that way?

      • Ashes

My Walgreens does this too!!! They too make you use another cashier to checkout if you have coupons. I do know its frustrating waiting on someone to check you out because you have coupons but I'm sure several people have taken advantage of the system forcing the managers to check us out. I also try to remind myself it does take longer to checkout with coupons (they carefully examine each one) and I have never seen more than one cashier before at Walgreens. If everyone would play by the rules maybe the coupon policies would not be so strict.

      • Katy

Im glad Im not alone, everytime I go into Walgreens it does not matter if I have coupons or not, they direct me to check out at the cosmetic counter and the manager has to check me out or stand by the cashier. Also every cashier is very rude and gives me a hard time. I have never done anything extreme, I only get a few items with coupons and my RRs sometimes.

      • Lmtam2

I no longer shop at my Walgreens because of crap like this.. the employees are RUDE and hateful to all couponers. Even an elderly lady in front of me one day that only had one Advil coupon. The manager on duty one night , when I asked if I could do three seperate transaction (no one in line behind me) told me with a mean look on his face NO, I CAN NOT STAND HERE AND JUST KEEP PRINTING YOU OUT RR’s!!! With his voice raised….. I called and complained, the on duty store manager (lady) called me back about 2 days later….she apologized, but, I refuse to go back!!! Not to mention it is lie pulling a horses teeth to even find anything left on the shelves..Done with my WAGS!

    • Jennscaffeinated

Is it just me, or are all the upcoming ad scans from iheartwags from last september?!?!

      • girlfreind

yes I see that about once a week thay have a few bugs to work out but keep checking it will come back up right

    • Is there anyway I can save my shopping list without printing?

Or should I just set it up, copy and paste to MS Word?

      • Amber

No, I don't think you can save it, but you can copy/paste it to word.

I sometimes copy/paste it in an email to myself, then open the email on my iphone when I'm in the store.

      • There is a free program called PDForge. I think I downloaded it from CNET, so you know it’s okay. You can use it to create PDFs. I sometimes make PDFs and then review the list later. I hate to use my printer ink and prefer to use a pen and a piece of scrap paper like we did in the olden days.

    • KATIE

NO COULD NOT PRINT SOFT SCRUB COUPON! :( THEY GOT MY EMAIL FOR MARKETING PURPOSES. NOT GIVING ME ANY COUPON. FEEL SO VIOLATED. :(

      • Shelly

Violated??  Really??  It's a bathroom cleaner, not a peeping tom!

      • Shelly already commented on the use of “violated” so I won’t go there, but this is why it’s important to have a designated email address just for stuff like this. The addy I use for couponing is the one I want them to use for marketing purposes because I do occasionally get that extra offer or deal that I did not sign up for originally. I have something like 900 unread messages in that account, but that okay because I can quickly scan for what I need and once in awhile I go in a purge all the old stuff.

    • EmmysMom

If you use an in ad walgreens coupon and pay with register rewards do you still need filler items in order for the register rewards to ring up or is it just for manufacturer coupons?  For example:  If I buy the gillette body wash with the $2.99 in add coupon and pay with a $3 RR will I need a filler item for the register to accept it?  Thanks for any help!

      • Pjdoty

Register rewards is just like another coupon so you need a filler.

      • CouponMomma

You may not need a filler item. A Walgreens coupons is not a manufacturer's. A RR is considered a manufacturer's coupon. One manufacturer's coupon per item. That having been said, your body wash is $2.99 and you RR is $3. You can't apply a coupon or RR towards the tax on an item. I'm not sure what will happen with your penny overage. I've never had that scenario myself.

    • bradydave76

I enjoyed reading your articles. This is truly a great read for me. I have bookmarked it and I am looking forward to reading new articles. Keep up the good work

    • Walserkimber2

Hi every one can someone help me ….if something is buy 1 get one 1/2 off …can I use a B1G1 free coupon and a $2 off for 2

      • girlfreind

        yes

        • Walserkimber2

          Thanks a bunch !!!

      • Kristy

If you have a B1G1 coupon and a $2 off of 2 product you can not use them together. Now if you have a B1G1 and a $2 off of 1 you should be able to.  The only way you can use a B1G1 and use a $2 off of 2 coupon is if you buy 3 products.

        • girlfreind

I am sorry but I think you can use a B1G1 and 2$ off they will take off the 50% off one prod. and take 2$ off the 1st prod.

    • Tonisewcrazy

I live in central Ohio and I'm just not seeing the deals I was a month or so ago. Most of the stores have limited you to 2 coupons for 2 like items and I have done separate transactions but some cashiers @ krogers won't even serve me! I've had to go to another register, cause they say 1 deal per day per household. I wonder if it's worth my while to travel a little ways to get the better deals…

      • Junecoupons77

Krogers has got really crazy with stopping savings at their stores u probably need to go to walmart show them the ads and use your coupons because if you are getting more that two of that item krogers won't let u use them.  Call local krogers though because some will let u use 10 like coupons and only two will double, all depends on the management at each store.

    • Mary

Be careful at Walgreens, I keep not getting my register rewards. A few days ago I bought $15 of the right products and didn't get the register reward, also didn't get it for the toothbrush I bought.

      • Junecoupons77

if you don't get your register rewards and you didnt use rr from that product for that transaction then the manager at the store will give you forms to fill out and you can get them by mailing in the forms

    • Leann0912

can i combine my B1G1 old spice coupon with the $1/2 old spice to get a good deal???? HELP!!!!

      • guest

you have to buy 3 to use both of those

    • Walserkimber2

I live in TN and are sneak peek ad has Gillette Deo. B1G1 1/2 OFF :-)

    • Leann0912

sorry, someone answered a question like mine in an earlier post. Thanks for your response Kristy, I understand now. Love this site! and thanks to everyone who responds to our questions.

    • I am sure this has been asked a ton but can you use RR at Walmart? I have read both yes and no but wanted to see if anyone knew the right answer. Thanks!

      • Amber

Yes. I  have had some cashiers who were unfamiliar with this, so I politely pointed out that it says “manufacturer coupon.” They might have to bring a manager over to verify, but it should be fine.

        • Thanks Amber. I have $13.50 in RR and I need to use them before we leave for vacation. I don't want to lose that money. :-D

          • Moore0902

My Walmart in Easley, SC would not let me last time I tried.. =(

      • Amber

        And Publix too :)

It doesn't matter if your Publix is a competitor with WAGS or not since they are manu, not WAGS coupons.

        • So they would not let me use it because it said redeemable at Walgreens but they would take my target coupons. lol I don't understand it. I got upset though after I checked out because I heard the manager talking about me with another employee.

      • I have to go through at least three people every time, but ultimately get to use them because someone gets it.  Last time the lady said she had been working there for 15 years and she knew they would not take them.  It took 3 more people but we managed to get it done.  It says “redeemeable at Walgreens” because they want you to come back and spend it there, but you don't have to!

    • savinmavin

I have 3 Wags in my area, and I love 2 of them. Most of the cashiers are couponers themselves and really go out of their way to help, even offering their own coupons for items I do not have one for. If you build a relationship with cashiers you will find that you can have a great Wags shopping experience.

    • Jaylow2631

always i even give cashiers coupons they lve to see me coming and always go out of there way to make sure i get every deal i love my wags i get some great deals                             thanks so much for putting all this together for us all

    • Jeffandjanm

The coupons in the Walgreens pharmacy booklet all say Manufactures Coupons.  The have the big W at the top, but the printing says MQ.  The register beeped last week when I tried to use one with OsteoBiflex BOGO deal.  I had 2 MQ and the wg boolet and it wouldn't work.

      • Jeffandjanm

I should have said the “Answers at Walgreens: Vitamins & Supplements booklet”  They are referred to above as a STORE Q

    • Erkelly

I have a raincheck from last weeks Gillette deal, buy $30 get $10. Does anyone know if I could buy the Gillette body wash this week at $2.99 each and be able to use my raincheck to get the $10 off? Last weeks deal didn't specify a price for the body wash and deodorant, which if why I was thinking it should work. Anyone have any experiences like this and it worked/didn't work?

    • lorip

The Playtex Tampon deal…buy the 36 count box get an 18 count box free…do you know if we can use 2 coupons on this deal or are they prepackaged that way?

My  Walgreens has been difficult in Pensacola, FL. If the coupon does not scan, they will not accept it. I am talking about manufacture coupons that are not expired. The store  manager said they have lost money because the companies have refused to pay for some of the coupons they accepted, so now if it does not scan, they will not take it. I have tried to use a coupon at walgreens (would not scan) then later used it at
CVS (scanned). I don't normally use walgreens because they are just more difficult to work with.

Please help! I am still fairly new to couponing and want to take adavantage of this deal but it doesn't seem to add up to me. $15 before $7 worth of coupons = $8 with $4 RR. What am I missing or can you use 2 $1.50 off and 2 BIGI free coupons?

I have a question about the midol/advil, can you use 2 of the 2.00 off manu coupons if its B1G1 1/2 off

    • Ed In NC

The 2 Walgreens near me, never got the Wal-fex 5-ct or the Bistex that would have been free with register rewards. I'm SURE they will PLENTY of the Wal-fex selling for $16.99 minus $4 RR starting tomorrow.

      • Smciver

That was the two items our Walgreens didn't have too.

    • AT THE WEST COLUMBIA WALGREENS IN S.C. we still have a bunch of the Dial body wash and the gillette razors and bayre and close to 50 of the airwick left. The ad ends today so come on by.

      • Mcleodsc

Do you have any of the calcium left?

    • Rebag

I can not find the 'monthly registered rewards' advertisement. I have never seen them, are they in all papers or is this local to just some areas? Thanks.

      • They are weekly and are included in the weekly advertisement.  You can find them on their website each week or listed in the sunday paper inserts or you can see them on this site.

      • Kat

I wasnt able to get the RR's for this monthly RR deal so maybe its not at all stores?

    • Angelascoupons1

I don't know if this just applies to the Winston-Salem area wags but I walked into mine today and they had the large powerades marked down to 4 for $1! They said they were going to stop carrying them because they didn't sell. So I bought 20 and did not pay a dime because I had RRs from e pro glide razor deal. This is one of the reasons that I buy all the razors I can during the months when this deal runs. Paying only $.89 for the razor and having those $5 rewards to roll forward each week pays off!

Then I went to cvs and got my free tea and iced coffees in a can and felt like the queen of the world! It was a great beverage day!

      • Jewelsb11

        which walgreens in w-s?

        • Angelascoupons1

It was the one at Meadowlark and Robinhood.  They are sold out today, but other stores may be doing the same thing.

      • TJ

Which Iced Coffees did you get?

        • Angelascoupons1

Seattle's best in a can….I didn't read the coupon very carefully when it came out in the paper (last week?) but it was for a free can of the iced coffee. I stocked up and am trying to source more coupons. I paid for clipping services on eBay to get ten more. We tried the iced coffee today….it is really good!

    • Kristin

Got the Gatorade products this morning for the rebate.  You have to send in the original UPC's.  No problem except two of the items are drinks and  it will not be easy to get the UPC's off. Why don't companies think these offers through?  Just kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth when they make it difficult.  Oh well.  I used the last of my RR and I'm done with Walgreen's for the time being.

      • ireneY

From what DH says, the drink will also leave a bad taste in your mouth. Rebates at Wags seem hit or miss.

        • Kristin

Good to know about the drink.  I was just looking for a way to use up RR that expire today.  This allows me to convert them to cash.  Good deal from my perspective.

    • scsaver

I truly have mixed emotions about walgreens, the people in the clearwater sc store are friendly enough, and one cashier even complimented me on how much i was saving with all my coupons. Sometimes i have to check out at cosmetics, but i dont mind, especially since there is usually a line behind me, and i  am trying to get a cart of goodies! my worst complaint is that more than half the time they are out  of the product the 1st day of the sale…and i usually go right after church…they should know to have enough for the week! thats my 2 cents…im still gonna shop there…even if i have to drive to aiken,,,they have a larger stock!

      • Medicgirl014

The one on Whiskey road is always out of a lot of the products. Try the one on Richland

      • Mcleodsc

Amen! It is so discouraging to be one of the first ones there on Sunday and the store does not have the sales merchandise! The stores have also started a trend of NOT having any sales signs out. It is like they do NOT want to sell anything.

    • Rainey993

ok I was watching Extreme the other night. Just watched a few seconds anywya there was a lady that said she had put e-coupons on her card plus she had another coupon so it made the item free. I though if you put a e-coupon on you card (it didnt tell which store) you couldnt use a paper coupon with it? So now I am confussed once again.

      • veronica

Rainey you can use a paper coupon. E-coupon should be separate. Always use your paper coupons. Veronica.

    • Kat

That finesse deal with the $5 RR isnt good at my store  (Im in Charlotte County FL)
:( I still got them, but was sad when it didnt spit out my RR's. Oh well, just wanted to pass that along.

    • Eaddec19

Question: On the Finesse Clean + Simple there is a mail in rebate to try it free! Can I do this MIR along with the $2 MIR that was in the paper weeks ago? The mail address is the same for both but the offer code is different!

    • CarolinaBrooklyn

Heads up….I live in Charleston, SC. Our Wallgreens does not carry Purex w/ Zout.

    • Jaylow2631

had a great trip this morning had 48.99 spent 2.99 feeling great

    • Angelascoupons1

Did great this morning!  Got the Gillette Body Wash deal ($2.99 on sale, B1G1 and $2 off) and the cashier put in my “paid” amount on the purchased body wash as the regular price, $4.99.  I pointed out to her that I was only paying $2.99 for it, but she said “let's see if it takes it”.  Sure enough, it did.  Also go the Suave deal ($3RR when you spend $10)…bought 2 lotions, got 2 bodywashes free using B1G1 and $1 offs.  Also got eggs and bought the proglide razor that generates the $5 RR.  I spent a total of about $6 and ended up with another $5 in RRs!  Go wags!

      • friend

Just want you to know your clerk could get fired for what she did it should of been for the sale price so you may not want to post such a thing and maybe next time correct her gently.

        • KT

but the sale price was an in-ad coupon.  same thing at my wag, they took the 4.99, because they scanned the B1G1 before they scanned then in-ad coupon.  i didnt plan it that way, but it worked out well! as long as there isnt a policy for which coupon they scan first i dont think anyone can get fired!

          • Kdwe64

This happened to me also this morning also.  I used the Gillette B1G1F bodywash. The clerk printed a short receipt of the amount and it must have printed $4.79 out to her because that is the amount she took off.  I realized this after I had walked out of the store and was looking at my receipt (making sure all was correct! LOL!).  In purchases past, the short receipt has always shown the discounted price.  Not sure why their computer was not doing this today.

            • Jjfdv

I did this same transaction.  The 4.99 was deducted for the free body wash and I ended up with overage so I bought a candy bar to make up the difference.  Love free body wash!

        • Angelascoupons1

I did try to correct her but she insisted on doing it. I don't think there is anything else I could have done. Who knows….maybe that is just the way wags employees are instructed to handle the B1G1s? It sounds like it is happening that way for a lot of people.

My main point in sharing this story is to show how kind and accommodating wags can be. There have been soooooo many negative comments on wags, always saying how much better cvs is. I am lucky to have both stores be good in my area. I just hate to see people generalize about wags….it is all really store-specific.

    • Mccouponz

There is a manufacturer coupon for Reynolds wrap.  can that be combined at Walgreens making it $.14 a roll?  Guess the question is can you combine store and manufacturer coupons at Walgreens…

      • Mccouponz

Sorry, the add coupon is for .75 on the Reynolds wrap this week.  can that be combined with the .85 store coupon

        • DuannaD

How many mfg coupons are you allowed to use at Walgreens at one time?

          • Nita Royal

1 per item, no limit per transaction, as long as you don't have more coupons than items

        • Queenbean

Check the coupon. I think you have to buys at least a 50ft roll of Reynolds to use the coupon and the flyer says the sale at Walgreens is for a 20 foot roll.

      • momof3

you sure can and if they are out get a rain check since there are no reward bucks being offered it will still be a good deal next week

      • jhoran

.75 coupon excludes the 20 sq ft

      • Dashay3

        yes u can

    • momof3

I'm interested in the deal with the purex and soft scrub however that is not advertised in my ad does that mean its a in store deal or not a deal in my area

      • Paramedic1242

Not sure about the Purex but the Soft Scrub is a month long deal that doesn't show up in the weekly ad. Your store might not be running however so be sure to check before buying

    • connie

I have 2 qs for 55/1 any smuckers jam, jelly, preserve, or fruit spread. Would using these on this smuckers jelly for $2 be a good deal or should I hold onto them a bit longer?

      • Jjfdv

If the coupons are not about to expire I would hold on to them.  $2.00 is not a stock up price.  I like to pay about .50- .75 cents for jelly.  If you use that coupon at a grocery store that doubles its worth $1.10.  Should make for a better deal!

    • CouponNinja

Was the pop tart coupon regional? I'm sitting here with my 5/15/11 RP's and I'm just not seeing it. :(

      • Angelascoupons1

I have the coupons if you want me to mail them to you. If so, email me at angelascoupons1@hotmail.com. No charge….just being friendly in the coupon world! Or I would be glad to do a swap if you have the seattle's best coffee can coupons I am looking for.

    • Tiffanyreid1

Just got back from Walgreen and my best deal was huggies pull ups for $4.99! I am new at this stuff and I thought it was a good one. They were on sale for $8.99 used an in store coupon from their summer saver for $2.00 off and then used a $2.00 from a mailer I recieved from Huggies.

    • endguy

Hi, so a couple of weeks ago I bought one of the ProFusion razors and got the $5 coupon.  I used that tonight to buy another one, and DID NOT receive the coupon.  For whatever reason, I didnt think about it until I had left the store.  I realize this is a “Limit 1 per customer”, but doesnt that limit reset every week?  Is there a way I can go back and get the coupon?

      • Nita Royal

If you used the RR from the last Fusion to buy this one, that's why the RR didn't print.  That's one of the WAGS tricky rules: never use an RR from the same manufacturer, not just the same product.

      • KT

it doesnt reset each week, its not tracked by any card like cvs.  you could buy as many as you want each day.  If you use RR from P&G to pay for any P&G item, the RR won't print.  Roll it with a deal like the finesse, so you are getting $5 RR back, use that for another razor, then another finesse, etc.

      • BJK

You can't use the coupon that you got from the razor to use on another razor and get another RR.  It won't work.

      • Erkelly

You can go back and talk to the manager and he can fix it for you. Once I accidently bought 4 Colgate toothbrushes (RR was received from buying 2) in one transaction and received only 1 RR and realized my mistake. I went to the manager and he refunded 2 of the toothbrushes, then rang it up again and printed the RR.

    • Paramedic1242

      Will this scenario work?Transaction #1Buy:

      Get Back: $4 RR
Transaction #2Buy:(1) Gatorade Prime 01, $1.50(1) Gatorade Perform 02, $1(1) Gatorade Recover 03, $2.50Use:-$4 RRTotal Due: $1Get a $5 mail in rebate printing at the register.

    • Mcleodsc

I have not had time to read thru all the comment so I apologize if this is already asked and answered.
If I pay for the Gatorade items with Register Rewards, will I still get the $5 rebate? In the past I have submitted rebate forms for other things and did not get the rebate because I paid with register rewards or I only got a partial rebate only for the amount of cash I actually spent. (Because of sales tax I will always have to pay something, even if it is only sales tax.)

    • Tracie

QUICK Question- Can anyone tell me if WG accepts expired RR coupons? Thanks! :)

      • MK

No they don't : ( Our CVS (might only be certain locations)  will take ECB's up to 3 days old but Walgreens won't let you use them at all once they've expired. I had $17 expire once and was so sad. Now I try to use them ASAP so I don't forget.

        • Tracie

Awww that stinks! I have $15 worth that just expired. Boo-Hoo! Well, thanks for your help. :)

      • BJK

No they don't.  I work for them and they don't.

      • Guest

They say they don't, but my Walgreens accepts them with no problems. Although I always try to use them by the expiration date, but living an hour and a half from my closest Walgreens, sometimes it's hard to. So I will use it the first chance I can get up there, and they'll take it.

    • Pfrfan

Question. The Gillete/Old Spice Body Wash is $2.99 with instore coupon. (limit 3)
      Can I use the
Buy One Get one free Gillette body wash coupon.
      $2.00 off Gillette Body Wash(x2)
      AND
Buy Old Spice Deoderant get Body wash free.

So I should end up with

Get Old Spice Body Wash free
Get both Gillette Body Washes for free.

And whatever the price of the Old Spice Deoderant?

AND would I need 2 filler items? Since it is 5 coupons and only 3 items?

      • Jjfdv

One coupon per item unless it is stacked with a walgreens coupon.  You could use those coupons if you bought 5 items.

      • Pfrfan

It worked I also had a $1.00 off coupon for old Spice. Not counting the other Items I bought I got everything above for $0.98

    • Judy

I'm pretty new to couponing, but so far have had great success at CVS. I have yet to try Walgreens or Rite Aid, but like some of the deals on here this week. I noticed that on CVS and Rite Aid Jenny lists Limit 1 or Limit 2 etc. Does Walgreens not have limits or are there just not very many now. Ex. Gillette Fusion razors. Is there no limit on those and if there isn't does Walgreens give rainchecks just like CVS? I can't imagine there will be any left on the shelf for that price!

      • Amber

No, there is no limit at Walgreen's. (There is no shoppers card, so it would be impossible to track if you already bought the item.) The only thing is, only one RR will print, so if you're buying more than one item that gives you RRs, do them in separate transactions. And you can't use a RR from one item to buy that same item again.

    • Lucyh70

the wags in west columbia, sc did not give me $4RR for bying $15 worth of soft scrubs.  Would really feel jipped except I git 2 jumbo packs of pull-up for $2.99 each.  on sale for $6.99 and used 2 store Q for $2 off and 2 manf Q for $2 off.  Got my $4 back

      • guest

I thought they were on sale for 8.99 and why did you get 4 back?

    • Amber

Was anyone in the Atlanta area able to get the Finesse deal? I didn't see it in our flier and it wasn't marked on the shelf.

      • Conniej1958

I'm in Miami and have been watching for the Finesse deals too.  It wasn't in our Wags flyer either.  I'm going to check the price when I go in tomorrow.

    • Momggggus

ok.. im confused…if i use a BIGI coupon on the Gilette Body wash and the register takes off the 4.99 price  then use an in ad coupon for the 2.99 sale price what should my final OOP be for this transaction?

      • Jjfdv

I bought 2 body washes. Used B1G1, $2 off and walgreens 2.99.  I had overage and bought a candy bar to make up for it.  So to answer your question, the body washes are free!

        • Jule

Thank you so much! I was just wondering if I can use the $2 with the B1G1 coupon. I am soo going to shop right now!

        • Momggggus

Thank you for the info…2.99 is a great deal BUT FREE is always better!!

        • mommy of 5

where is the $2 off coupon at? Thanks!  ;)

          • mommy of 5

and woundnt it just be 99 cents?  ;)  how do i get it free?

          • Jjfdv

            redplum 5-15

      • Jule

Shouldn't it be 2.99? I was just working out my deal, so if I use the 2.99 in ad and a B1G1, the second one should be free, and I only have to pay 2.99 full price for one.

        • Jjfdv

There is also a $2 off Q from the paper making it .99 for both.  Not sure why but my cashier took off the 4.99 for the free one giving me overage..

          • CouponKing

It's because the coupon states to insert the Retail Price. They're getting paid the same, it's just that the $$$ is coming from the Manufacturer.

    • My Walgreens has the Rimmel pro finish nail polish on sale 2 for $4 and a couple of choice colors are $1.04 each on clearance.  I used the B1G1 coupon from the June All You magazine for a great deal.

    • Melissaprevatte

Did anyone else have a problem printing the Purex coupon?  I sure couldn't find it!

    • Truckescrt

CHEX MIX LOOK FOR DEAL AT WALGREEN'S!
They are on sale (I think a clearance) at my local store for .50 cents a bag!
I got out my coupon binder when I ran across them and used 1 computer coupon .50 off of 2 and 4 other coupons from the paper that were .50 off 1 so they were free….I also bought a few more bags to stock up. Those things were $1.49 before the sale.

And I see a lot of others are complaining about poor service, even when my store doesn't have anything left in stock, they are still helpful, they are helpful at BOTH CVS and Wags.
They should be, I mean, I'm not JUST using coupons, I still spend quite a lot of money in those stores ($113 at CVS today, got $35 ECB) and two separate purchases at Wags around $60 each. A typical trip in there can be anywhere from $25 -$150. and that is when I'm not buying my meds. Most people I know have to go to one of these places (or the Walmonster) for meds at some point, So woo me over to your store :) with the decent sales & offers and I'll switch my outrageously expensive prescriptions there…that is pretty much the plan with them.
Most of the time, I think the clerks around here realize we're just their friends and neighbors trying to save money on the things our family needs. I can understand why they'd get upset with the shelf clearers and ebayers who come in buying up all the stock to turn around and re-sell it, but they don't seem to mind when it is very apparent you are just shopping for personal use.
I could tell the little girl was VERY frazzled with all my coupons at Wags today but she was still very polite and that goes a long way in me spending my money there again and again.

      • guest

where did you find the chex mix and what size is the bag? I have been looking for 2 days and couldn't find them. Thanks

      • guest

I found those and the bags are smaller then 4 oz so those coupons shouldn't have worked.

    • kathy

i would not get the gatorade. they taste horrible and the gatorade bar contains trans fat. you get a 5 coupon to footlocker. that is the only good thing about it.

    • Truckescrt

For the lady looking for cheap reusable bags: Go to Bath & Body Works, a couple of months ago there was a promo counter offer where they had the cutest little nylon flower print bags in a little case, maybe 3 inch square that weighs just a few ounces for $1 or $2 each (I think they were $1) but these are VERY lightweight and Spring looking in several fabric color/patterns, think pinks/yellows/oranges/purples, etc.
Me & Mom got several each to save for filler gifts and to carry with for shopping, she uses hers all the time.

Walgreens has the 50 count Advil on sale for $5.99 and it's buy one get one 50% off. BUT if your store has the “bonus 50%” box with 75 count, they will give you the same deal on those!! Just scored 150 pills for 9 bucks!

      • Kristy

Thank you so much for sharing this. Planning on getting advil tomorrow. I was just wondering if you used the $4/2 advil products cpn that expires 7/31/11?

        • Rhonda

Unfortunately not! I was unaware of that couponbut that would make for a fantastic deal!!

          • Jjgobucs

Where did you find the $4/2 coupon?

    • Enajyramm

I found a nice deal this week at Walgreens, good through this Saturday 6/25, for those of us with an AARP card. Two Tuf 8 roll paper towels for $5 apiece. Get a $1 Reg Reward for each (total $2 RR). Use two $1 off Tuf coupons found in Walgreens “Save all Summer” June Savings Book (usually found at front of the store). Present your AARP card and get a coupon for $3. (Walgreens will give a coupon for $3 for AARP with each $10 purchase – good through 6/25).

Two Tuf 8 pk Paper towels.    $10
      -$2 (Walgreens coupons)         – 2
      earn $2 Reg Rewards              – 2
      AARP card bonus                   – 3

Equals to $1.50 per 8 pk Tuf paper towels.

How do you get the RRs for the Tuf?  My ad only has a Less coupon for $1 off.

    • Savingmoney

Went to Wags in Hattiesburg, MS today.  I ordered 34 Gillette 2 in 1 bodywash the Friday before the sale so I wouldn't clear the shelf(I buy for 3 different families) and used the B1G1 Free with the $2.00 off and a previous $4 off RR. Subtotal $13.32 plus $7.15 in tax (based off the pre coupon total) for a grand total of $20.47.  Total savings $140.33.

thanks! I missed this deal-thanks again

      • Carmen S.

Wow whatya gonna do with all them bodywashes.

    • Could anyone tell me what Kellogg's Cereals are on sale? I have a  $1.00 off any eggs when i purchase 2 kellogg's cereals. I would also like to use a coupon for each box to lower the oop. Thanks for your help!

    • Melissa

Wow!  I'm glad to see some of you were able to get deals at Walgreens this week.  I made a trip this morning (Tues.) and they didn't have a single thing I was looking for and I wasn't just shopping for free items.  I may try Walgreens again sometime, but I have to say that I am having much better luck with CVS.

      • Rclay18

If I don't go on Sunday morning/afternoon or Wednesday night/Thursday morning it is not worth it to me. Sunday is the first day of the sale and most stores get a truck on Wednesdays to restock. They don't do rainchecks for RRs like CVS does. :( I've learned not to even plan a trip if I can't go on those days.

        • Melissa

Thanks for the tip, Rclay.  I'll aim for Sunday or Wednesday from now on.  :0)

    • tina

any1 know when the walgreens  pack of diapers will go on sale again?

    • Lisa

I went to WG today and their RR weren't printing so the manager gave me a gift card with the amount owed to me. Thought this was sweet since it doesn't expire and it won't be considered a coupon.

    • Michelle

I am so upset I have a $10 register reward that expired yesterday!! :(
Is it possible that they will still take it?? I have never had this
happen. I had a sick kid this week and couldn't get to the store in
      time…

      • Laura Smith

My Walgreens in Walterboro SC takes them up to 7 days expired.  Im not sure if thats just my store or all of them

      • Vanessa

I would call, never hurts. I called mine and they accepted them 5 days late. I don't know if it was a one time thing, but I never said anything to the cashier and she scanned them and they worked.

      does walgreens take competetors coupons?

    • Emwoak

Picked up 2 bags of Wonka bagged candy, had a B1G1 (limit $2.49 and a $1 coupon.
Got two 9.25 oz bags of candy for $2.51 or $1.25 each. I didn't see this on the list.

    • Liz

if there's anyone out there that's not going to use theirs or is just going to throw it away, could you email it to me please??? mizliz83 @ yahoo

      • guest

Which coupon did you use?  The coupons I have are for 75 feet+ and the one on sale is I think 20 feet?

      • All of the foil paper coupons I have ever seen exclude the 20ft and 25ft versions. How is that?

    • Psjustawoman

does walgreens accept expired rr, mine expired yesterday :(

      • Most likely not.

      • Laura

They used to, but after 6/1 they stopped according to my store manager.

I went in 6/12 & mine had exp 6/10, they scanned & deducted fine…but then the cashier said sorry, I just noticed the date so I have to void them :(

    • aes25

Not sure what my coupon said, i already used them all. I thought they said 25ft??

    • Raquelorta

Went to walgreens today for Midol thinking they were 2.99 and they were not. The ad really wasn't a good one.

    • Leighsharpe65

I am freakishly new to this so please help me out here….in this ad I saw a prepaid visa card with a purchase price of $4.95 with a $10 credit on it if used by July 24th in Walgreens store……is that a trick? What did I miss? It sounds like free money..

      • ireneY

Haven't done it before, but there must be an activation fee involved.

      • Mcleodsc
