I’m not seeing the HEB Huggies coupon. I was able to print one the other day (from a different computer) but now I don’t see it at all. Also, How in the world do I get the Walgreen’s Home Mailer? I’ve been all over the Wags website!

      • Shawnfullcircle

Ya me too!   I have trouble finding any of the Home Mailer Info.   Publix, Kroger,Target, etc.
        Please help   Thanks

      • Karmah60

I was looking into the home mailer too.  I could really use the Huggies coupon.  I even looked on Ebay, but I don’t know the difference between someone just pulling coupons out of the infant care book, August book, or if that’s the home mailer.  I’m so confused by that.  The ones I’m seeing there all say “$2/1 Huggies BIG PACK diapers.”  So, don’t think that’s it.

        • Waltershell53

I have one I’m not using ifyou want it I can send it to you also wonder if you can conbine this one with the infant care.aslo have an extra one of those if you want it. just e-mail at waltershell53@yahoo.com

      • kim

The Walgreens home mailer came in the Sunday’s paper…I forget which date but it was in the paper not from Walgreens

    • Very angry with Wal greens! Had a B1G1 coupon for a B1G1 item and they tried to make me buy four of the item! And they wouldn’t take the huggies printable ! GRR I think I will start shopping at CVS and/or Rite Aide from now on!!

      • Newbie

Walgreens can be so annoying.  I am in a love-hate relationship with them.  It is weird, some stores suck and others are great!  Plus it depends on the person you get.  I’ve had cashiers who are great and cashiers who needed to be smacked.  But you can get some great deals sometimes!

      • Anonymous

It is actually n WAGs policy that they accept b1g1 manuf Q on store b1g1 items making both free. This is one of those vigilante stores taking out their hatred for “Smart shopping.” I would speak to the store manager and/or district manager to correct them on the policy.

    • Tcrockwell11

$3 RR WYB (2) Crest 3D White Toothpaste 4 oz, at $2.50 ea
      -.50/1 Crest toothpaste, 4 oz +, PG 7/31
      -.75/1 Crest toothpaste 4 oz + or liquid gel, 4 oz +, PG 7/31
(use .75/1, makes it 25¢)If I decided to purchase 2 Crest 3D white toothpastes, am I able to use the -.50 and the -.75 coupons, since there are two items?

      • Zee

You have to buy 2 to get the RR. Yes you can use 2 coupons. Jenny calculated it showing that you use (2) .75/1 q’s that’s why you only pay .25 each

      • Anonymous

.50/1 and .75/1 are simply all the coupons that are out there It is not that you use them in that order. You may use two .75 Qs (better value) for two Crest TP, absolutely

    • Zee

Wow this is a great week at wags. I can’t wait to get my shopping trip together. This is the third time I have said this**********HEAD TO DOLLAR GENERAL******* There are $3/3 Kelloggs coupons, they don’t expire until 12/31/2011, they’re good for keebler, kelloggs, and sunshine cheezits. That makes the cereal .50 per box!!!!!

      • Pmortonfamily

        where at!!! in the store

        • Zee

Yes, I found mine in a DG display at the end of one of the food aisles.

      • Karmah60

Where do I get the Kellogg’s coupon?

        • Zee

Yes, I found mine in a DG display at the end of one of the food aisles.

      • Deborah

Where can you get that $3/3 Kelloggs coupon??? At the Dollar General??

        • Zee

Yes, I found mine in a DG display at the end of one of the food aisles. They are dark blue and they have a dollar general logo, but they are a manufacturer coupon, you can cut the dollar general logo off with absolutely no harm to the q if you have one of those stores that  are picky.

          • Olgav23

They are DG coupons, bc I combined mines with a manu q to score cheap cereal when they were $2 each!

            • Zee

From what I’ve read elsewhere, they are thenew barcode system. So that may be why you were able to use to. It says right on the coupon to send it to kelloggs and nowhere does it say for use only at dollar general. But the deal you got was even better!!!

      • Ashwillis83

Was it at the end of the cereal aisle? Ill definetly have to go check tomorrow. Thanks

    • Newbie

Not a very exciting week for RR’s or anything, for that matter.  :(

    • Greenhulk

The store mailer coupon for the diapers, is that something you can also get in the store? And I have also seen some on ebay do you need more than one or is it one of the store coupons that they use the number and it’s for however many you are buying?

    • Lisagyergyo

My Walgreens did not allow me to use the Huggies Coupon from the extra care baby book for the Jumbo pack of diapers.  They said it was for the box.  Did anyone else have this problem?

      • Kymdolce76

Yes my Wags too wouldn’t allow it : (

      • Greenhulk

Did the coupon beep and just not work or did they stop it before hand and just say no? I’m wondering if is just a individual store thing or machine.
        Thanks

      • Save1moredollar

The huggies coupon refered to in the matchup came in my paper a few weeks ago.  The infant care coupon is for the boxes.

        • Lisagyergyo

          Thank you!

    • Ryan

The cashier I had last night at @22b37415f1084319e2b628c3d6882561:disqus ags let me use the Dove B1 shampoo and Get a ‘treatment’ for FREE on just shampoo . . . so I got 4 Dove shampoos (2 for free) and still got the RR!  WIN!

      • tk

same happened to me at CVS last week

        • Olgav23

they consider the shampoo/conditioner that are repair/restore/moisture as treatments.

    • Annecline99

Why is it that you just posted this but every “printable” coupon that I clicked on (only ones I know I’ve never printed) are unavailable???

      • 1bigsaver

Most of these printables have been available for quite a while.  Just because she just posted this doesn’t mean the printable just became active.  I printed mine over a week ago.

      • Angelascoupons1

Jenny only let’s you know which coupons are out there that match up to the deal. She can’t keep track of the prints. Plus many of us have printed the coupons already due to getting coupon alert emails. I think we should accept the great service that she provides without complaints about things truly beyond Jenny’s control.

      • Anonymous

There coupon hawks out there ready to jump the first day they are out; on the top of it, so many people print multiple Qs and then on multiple computers leaving none for others.

        • Freedomspradley1

I know this is an issue but I don’t believe most couponers
are as inconsiderate as you are insinuating.  I would guesstimate that the
number of coupon shoppers has quadrupled in the last year and that alone
depletes the availability of coupons.  The links to printable coupons are
posted on hundreds of websites all over the country with many having been posted for
          months on end.

          • Anonymous

Thank you for restating my points I made.  However, I never implied “most couponers.”; simply because I dont know if everyone of us would be tempted to print multiple Qs when they have easy access to multiple comps at home or work.  Interestingly, on this board alone, messages posted suggest that there are couponers who do not see it wrong printing multipke Qs in one household.

Wether you like it or not; they just want one printed Q per HOUSEHOLD-it’s a fact not my opinion.

By the way, I am for it whatever you do and works for you. I am no vigilante!

          • Anonymous

I guess I am a “coupon hawk” because I have email alerts that let me know when a coupon comes out, and if I need the item, I try to print right then.  I am lucky because I work on a computer so I can print the 2 coupons that IS ALLOWED by using my back button, and when I get home, if there are still coupons available, I print 2 from home.

This is what you wrote a couple of days ago:

          To coupon ethics audience!

          a) Do you use back button to print multiple Qs
          b) Do you use multiple computers to print multiple Qs
          c) Do you use zipcodes you do not live in to search valuable Qs
          d) Do you sign up your “hubby” to receive in emails multiple Qs
          e) Do you use “moneymaker” to do transaction
          f) Do you use “rolling” to get free products

“Hint: Above are not actual questions, no need to respond in yes but just
to think before bashing others. For a lot of people out there, the
any/above “Smart Shopping” is just as ethically wrong or “cheating the
system.” That is why you encounter hostile and unfriendly employees and
people who are not just as “smart.”
And PLEASE, I am not pointing the above at anyone, certainly not
personaly; I am all for it whatever you do. I just needed to knock the
heads of those self-proclaimed coupon ethics here yelling and cursing
others on these boards.  No further arguments needed, and truly and
sincerely thank you for reading ! ”

          A bit judgmental are we?????

          • Kcreviews

I don’t see how printing out multiple coupons on multiple computers is wrong. They are available, legally, 2 per computer. Why shouldn’t I use as many as I can with my own computers?

            • Olivia6785

I think the point about using multiple computers is that in a way by using two computers you’re taking away someone elses chance to print the coupons. The next time you are printing from multiple computers, think about the single moms or unemployed families trying to save money or people who are on a fixed income i.e. Military families, who are hurting for a little extra help that could have printed the coupon before you print all you can.

            • Anonymous

Very good response!:) You dont see anything wrong with it and that is my point. People dont see anythign wrong with actions they do; only when others do. Respectfully, I would ask the coupon ethics on this board who were bashing some of us for puportedly using expired coupons (legitimately) to come forward and answer the Kc question as to why it is wrong or ok to print multiple Qs on multiple comps ! Thanks.

          • Anonymous

Thank you for your response!  You proved my points and am waiting to hear from coupon ethics here; but none is coming forward. Not judgemental at all! I am presenting facts as they are in general. On a side note; manufactureres did not instruct you to press back button to benefit yourself; you discovered it from “fraudulent ideas” on these websites. (“backbutton” or revisitng the page to print another copy is for in case your printer did not work the first time.)

All store registers ‘ALLOW” $4 Q-Huggies 48-pack to be used also on Huggies 2-pack. Does that mean its ok?

Manuf want to give one Q per household; but why is it ok to print multiple per household?

Nothing personal though! I am for it whatever works for you.

      • Silveryoung1

She may just want to remind you that you may have printed them also

    • Ramseycrew

Is the $2 wags store coupon from the Infant care booklet and what is the expiration date? I’m trying to find the right one. Also do you need one for each item or do they just beep the one over again and you keep it like they do others sometimes.
      Thanks

      • Miabuyer

I bought 2 packs of the new slip on diapers at Wags the other day in 2 transactions so I could get both RR and the manager had to come override the wags infant care home mailer coupon for both transactions b/c it came up item not found since it’s a new product. Point being that unfortunately this time around you need a wags q for each transaction. HTH

      • Anonymous

Expiration is 12/31/11. For the second part, if someone with actual experience and accuracy can post the response? Do those Infant Care Qs (and Monthy WAGS Q from booklet) work as “price reducers” like in-ad Qs?

        • Ashley

No they do not.  The infant care booklet coupon is for the box diapers and not the jumbo packs.  I think Jenny is referring to a different home mailer that is not the infant care booklet that expires at the end of december.

          • Save1moredollar

It came in my paper about 3 weeks ago, don’t remember if it was in the RP or SS, but it was in the paper with other Wag coupons (like the revlon beauty item)

    • Clippingfun

on the revlon RR deal do you have to be at $10 before or after wags coupons??? i know it is before man coupon and tax but not sure on the 2 off revlon wags coupon?

      • Anonymous

I believe it is $10 after WAGS coupons because WAGS coupons usually work as “price reducers.”

The Walgreens on Augusta Road in West Columbia S.C. has a long aisle of clearance items now at %75 off, and also ladies undies for $1,74 a 3 pack and the packs have a $1.00 off coupon attatched to them. the cashier in cosmetics will tell you where those are located in the store.

    • Barbara

There is a $2 Saving Star coupon on the Freshmatic…makes Jenny’s scenario even sweeter!

      • CJ

I don’t think Walgreens uses Savingstar does it?

      • Anonymous

Yes, but savingstar account has to have some connection to your transaction at Wags, usually through a card. WAGS has no card

    • Ms. Susan

On the 28th of this month one day only, if you have the b1g1 free coupon for the dove you get both for free, because the coupon expires that day but can be used that day also. JUST A TIP FROM A WALGREENS EMPLOYEE  Also you can buy these coupons on Ebay today just type in DOVE COUPONS on ebay, and then pick buy it now. WOW  FREE DOVE  WOOO HOOO

        • wags employee

they are on sale buy one get one 50% off will not work, they are telling you wrong

      • Kayshia

I’d like to know how this will happen. I don’t want to go into Walgreens thinking I’ll get it free and then be turned down. Wanna be able to make sense to the cashier if I get turned down. Thanks.

        • Anonymous

WAGS accept manuf b1g1 Qs on store sale of b1g1 Qs. Make a copy of wags Q policy and take it with you just in case. It clearly states on that and there is no room for argument.

          • wags employee

plenty of room for argument, they are on sale buy one get one 50% off you have to buy full price item then get one 50% off they are going to take and give you the 50% item free with cp. get real I work there and don’t understand how you come up with this stuff.  I understand the bogo. free.  but this is not one free this is 1 50% off

            • Anonymous

Thank you for your response. My response on the OP question was on b1g1 free as she presented; there was no mention of  b1g1 50%. So, yes, if it were b1g1 50% off, then 50% is covered by Q; though as good customer svce, full free item value taken out with the Q wouldn’t hurt but will bring more business. Respectfully, your being employee there does not impress me at all; I can not tell you how many veterans managers and employees I have been educating with the help of corporates. Please do not bash others and pull the trigger when there is something you miss on my posts. My posts are based on facts, not opinions or making up. If you do not agree with facts I present, then you also need to be corrected.  Thanks for reading! (respectfully, No further argument or response needed)

    • Sabrielraine

I am in the Portland Oregon where they are doing the pilot program for the points system. So my ads differ and I dont have a lot of the register reward deals, instead I am offered an x amount of points instead. The manager of my Walgreens told me that there is a forum or a blog or something to that affect, that has scenarios for people that live in cities where the pilot program is taking place, is anybody aware of where this forum, blog, etcetera might be at so I can better prepare for my shopping trips? TIA!

    • CrystalW

I’m new to Walgreens shopping. Can anyone tell me when it’s the best time to shop for deals? I always seem to show up when they are out of the good stuff.

      • Annecline99

May not be practical for you, but best time is Sat. nite midnite.  Get there 11:30 as all the couponers will be there and have your cart filled by 12:00.  Worked great for me.

i’m in the atlanta area and do not see the colgate in the 7/31 ss. Is anyone else having this issue?

      • Anonymous

Colgate comes only in SS from a major newspaper. If you buy smaller newspaper with SS insert, most likely you will not have it. I know that for sure. Colgate is stingy; and also their Qs expire just in two weeks from release date.

      • Sabrina

I did not get it in the ajc either….annoying! If the ajc isn’t a major newspaper, I don’t know what is!

    • Steph

I just have a frustrating story to share from this morning. I searched online for the brand of dog food my dog eats, and was excited to see that it was on sale 2/$10 for the 4lb bags. He is out and I don’t have the money right now to buy the 44lb bag at Sam’s. When I got to Walgreens, I also noticed that they FINALLY had some Keri lotion in stock, and I would finally get to use my $2.00 coupon that I’d been carrying around. When I got to the register, I paid for the lotion, and figured I would use the $5.00 RR from that towards the dog food. Well, when the RR was almost done printing, the catalina machine ran out of paper. She handed me the RR and it seemed ok, so I didn’t even worry about it. The machine started beeping like crazy and the cashier had no idea what to do. She asked another cashier for a roll of paper and changed it out. I then handed her the two bags of dog food and mentioned that they were on sale on their web site, but I didn’t see a sign for that price on the shelf. She called a manager to verify. While waiting on the manager, I pulled up the web site and showed them the sale on my phone. The manager had to go in the back to verify. He came back and said no problem. The cashier rings up one bag of dog food for $5.00, then accidentally rings the other one up for $0.50. Again she has to call the manager to void this transaction. Done. She rings up the dog food properly and I gave her the RR she just gave me. She tells me she cannot take it because it only has half a barcode!! I hadn’t even noticed that, but hello she JUST gave it to me! There was no way I was leaving the store with that RR to try to use somewhere else!!! I told her politely that she had just given that RR to me, and it only had half a barcode because her machine ran out of paper. So AGAIN she had to call the manager to ask what to do, and he put in the $5.00 coupon. What an absolute nightmare! I have never experienced this, and I was glad to be out of there!

      • GuestWag

What if she was new? Geez no one is perfect. Give the cashier some credit. Its not all butterflies and rainbows ringing up “couponers”. Just pointing that out there.

        • Guest

I love it I work in cosmetics and encourage customers to come to my dept. and I always have extra coupons for my customers and can help and teach the new ones or get some started to coupon I love helping to save money.

          • Mcleodsc

Guest that works in cosmetics-did you have any problems with the $1 Revlon mfg. coupon beeping as item not sold today? Also, the W Coupon for $2 off Revlon Cosmetics-did you get an email from loss prevention stating that that particular coupon is a mfg coupon ?
I was not allowed to use the W coupon and the Revlon mfg cpn on nail polish today. At first the cashier said it beeped because both coupons were mfg. So I told her to rering it and just use the Revlon mfg coupon on it. Then the Revlon mfg coupon beeped again and her register showed item not sold. A manager pushed it thru(just the Revlon $1 mfg cpn).
I noticed on several coupon sites that other shoppers here in SC were having problems too.

        • guest

I can’t tell you the amount of times “coupon moms” come in the store ready to check out and treat the cashiers as if they were nothing more than an idiot! I really love the ones who argue that I did not ring them up right but the truth be told they did not do the math right and now want to hold up the line for 50 cents. There are more rude “couponers” than polite. The newbies should realize that if you don’t know what your doing then just admit it and you will get help but if you come across like we did something wrong then we will watch you pay $$$  for mistakes! For those of you who whine when the store is out of stock, here is a tip, If the store is out then it was probably close to free with the coupon so get there early. Don’t come in the last day of the sale and think you are gonna get it. You can get a rain check so quit whining

          • couponingtosurvive

I agree one must be nice in order to get anywhere in this world. Cashiers are people just like I and should be treated with respect. I have never gotten any dirty looks or disrespectful treatment from a couponer even when I have my binder with me. I am polite and courteous and I get the same treatement in return.

If I make a mistake in math then I apologize heavy and either pay the difference or politely ask the cashier to take the item off. I generally have my 5 year old son with me, so even when the cashier is wrong I am nice and polite b/c I don’t want my son to learn to be rude to others. You can correct a cashier w/o being rude. If the cashier still doesn’t do it right then just simply smile and say I don’t want to purchase that product at this time.

        • Steph

Well, I was only using one coupon, and that was the one she had just given me. Lots of people use a coupon or two, not just “couponers”.

    • Kroeze

How do I sign up to get Walgreens home mailer?

      • Sabrina

        I’m wondering the same thing!

    • Kchamp

Can Walgreen’s RR be used at any store or are they Walgreen coupons?  I keep reading conflicting things.  Thanks.

    • Prtyred1

I new to this and I’m having a little bit of trouble trying to figure out what everyone means by a ‘filler’. When would I need to use a filler?

      • Anonymous

        You need a filler when

        a) you have less items scanned than you have coupons/RR in the same trasaction. For example, you have one Huggies diapers for $6 and you like to use manuf Q $2 and $4RR in your hand. There are two Q and one item; so it wont work. You need a “filler” to attach to RR.

        b) you need to bring up the subtotal enough so that you may use the RR entirely. For example, you have $5RR and you are buying Olive oil which is 4.99, It wont work because now your RR is one peny more than your due balance. You need a “filler” to bring the amount by at least that penny so you could use up the RR entirely.

It gets compex when you will need to do both a and b in one transaction.

    • Erikashines

Ah, yes, Walgreens. Sorry about your experience. Happens to me @ Wags all the time! I keep a smile on my face, remain polite. I stay firm and insist it be made right. And sometimes a copy of the coupon policy helps. Keeps me away for months sometimes. The sales always lure me back in eventually. This week I had a subtotal of $2.99. I saved over $95.00. To me that is worth a little aggravation!

      • Guest

I just want to thank you for you smile and your politness it may help you better if you ring up in the cosmetic dept. most are more coupon freindly and if a problem arises it will not hold up a line and make things less stressful.

        • Erikashines

I usually check out in photo, or cosmetics. I never do more than two little transactions, or one large one. This week it was one transaction with 17 items and 17 coupons. The managers and cashiers know me, and my method of operation. They are happy to keep me out of the regular checkout line. My above response was to Steph’s frustrating checkout. Guess I had not hit the reply like I thought. Wags convoluted system can be a pain, but once you understand the policy and registers fully it can be great savings!

      • Anonymous

I like your points- to stay firm and insist it be made right and have a copy of policy ready. This what I have been advocating

    • Erikashines

Look at the top right side of this page under Walgreens links. The.getting started guide is invaluable! And now my confusing answer is: you need more items than coupons. Register rewards count as manufacturer’s coupons, and it has been my experience recently that store coupons, that now say manufacturer coupon, like the wag savings book coupons, are counted as coupons too. In the past any wags coupons did not count in the total number of coupons.

      • Wildjungle369

You can still use both coupons as it states it on the Walgreens web site link. I just did it on the Cottonelle toilet paper, it was $5.00 with a $1.00 in store coupon book and $1.00 coupon back from the Register Rewards. I was going to use one on Huggies Diapers from the coupon book but it was for wipes not diapers.so she gave it back to me. I did use a $3.00 coupon from the news paper clippings.

    • CP

Can I buy 2 Nature’s bounty vitamins (B1G1) and use two manufacturer’s coupons along with them?

        YES

    • Aluckychance74

My 8month old baby girl needs some diapers and seen the walgreens diapers above. I am wondering how you came up with $2.99 , I do not want a surprise at the register =)

The Diapers are $9.99 with a $2 RWB , I have a $3 man coupon , My math shows $4.99 but you said $2.99 I hope you math is correct and mine is wrong =)

Does anyone have any $3 off Huggies or other good baby coupons they want to trade? f so e-mail me at aluckycance74(at)aol(dot)com

      • Ilovepamperedchef

$9.49-$2 store Q=$7.49-$3 manufacturer Q=$4.49 (out of pocket)- $2 register rewards= $2.49. So you do pay the 4.49 but then you get $2 register rewards to spend on another transaction.

      • Tammyscoupons

In order to get the diapers for $2.49 you must have the store coupon.  I did not get the mailer with this coupon so I ended up paying $4.49 which is still a pretty good deal on diapers.

        • Lsylte

Does anyone actually get a Walgreen’s mailer?  I ask the manager of my store here in GA and he said he’s never heard of a mailer from Walgreens being sent to the houses.  He said… “If there was a mailer, I’d know about one….”   I know it exists :)

      • Karenguthrie68

I have more Huggies coupons, do not have any little ones here.  Looking for someone to trade with.  Looking for Listerine, laundry detergents (no Tide), pastas, etc.   Interested?  I am in AL and do not get some of the good Q’s.

Save yourself some grief!! Its being calculated for 2.99 because there’s a wag. q in the wags. infant care book for 2.00 and that’s how they came up with that total….however, that coupon is for the big pack so it won’t scan for that diaper.

      • jhoran1

The diapers are 9.49, not 9.99, so total is 4.49.

    • Newbie

The Dial Body Wash has a $3.00 RR.  If I have a coupon for $1 off 2 Body Washes, and I buy 2….will 2  $3.00RR print?

Does anyone have the Walgreen’s coupon number for the $3.00 brainstrong that is in the vitamins and supplement? I don’t have the coupon but if I have the 4 digit number they will enter it into the register. Not all Walgreens have this book or the infant care book :-(

      • cindy

3.00 dollars off 80087     5.00 off 50074 hope thats the right numbers

        • Brandyjo2606

Thank you Cindy. I think the last four numbers are what I need. Are those the numbers on the barcode of the coupon?

          • cindy

the coupon has two different bar codes if that dont work let me know

    • 22paisley

Newbie, no, only 1 RR will print.  Also, if you use a Dial RR to buy another Dial product that would normally print a RR it will not print a RR at all.  To get the RR to print you must pay regularly or use a RR from another company.  ‘Hope this helps!  It can take time to learn a stores “quirks” but don’t give up.

      • Karenguthrie68

I have the airwick coupons (Montgomery, AL) and am willing to trade for Gain or other laundry detergent coupons.

    • guest

Hi, I have a 2.00 off and a 1.00 off airwick product and i was wondering if i could use both for 1 item of the airwick spray and a filler item to make a purchase with nothing beeping.

      • 22paisley

You are allowed to use one “manufacturer” coupon and one “store” coupon together for an item. In other words in the top left corner of the coupon if it says “manufacturer” then you may only use one unless you are buying two of the product. Also if you are using two coupons of any kind Walgreens requires you to purchase two items, this is when a “filler” works. Good luck!

        • guest

Thank you! you just solved my dilemma.

    • Bridget072809

I have a question. I have a coupon that says “Buy 2 save $2.50. Buy Listerine Total Care anti-cavity mouthwash 1L or larger and/or any (1) reach toothbrush and/or any (1) reach floss or (1) reach access flosser”

Does that mean I can buy 2 floss toothbrushes with 2 in-ad coupons making them 0.99 each and actually have 0.52 overage?
Am I allowed to have more than one in-ad coupon or will one work for both?

      • Zee

wags won’t do overage so they may give you trouble if they claim they don’t know about marking the price of the q down

      • Anonymous

I can tell you in my wags store in my region where the register is newer and different from ones where most of you are.

In my region stores, one in-ad Q would change the price to 99 cents for both Tbs, leaving total price of 1.98 for two TBs.  Meaning, just one in-ad scan would take care of multipe items for you. In my area registers, any coupon overage will simply beep and would not allow “overage” no matter in whatever order you present Qs.

Hwever, some have reported here that their area registers take the “overage.” In that case, just have something for 0.52 to absorb the anticipating overage.

Just in case, if there is beep or overage problem, then make sure they adjust the $2.50 Q value down to 1.98; and not just refuse to process the Q. Print a copy of wags policies and take it with you.

    • Lsylte

GA near ATL and MI near Detroit didn’t receive it either.  Found it from a coupon clipper in FL (but she didn’t have the Huggies coupons)  :)

    • Crystal Fedyshyn

How do you get the huggies home mailer?

    • Padawan

I just went to the Darlington, SC Walgreens for my first trip.  The only deal I found was the Keri lotion.  The other stuff didn’t have any sale prices or RR showing on the stickers.  Does Walgreens switch their sales over early Saturday?  I went at 1:00 pm.  Quite discouraging when I went in for 6 or so items, and only got 1.

      • Ehlendtj

        Sales start Sunday.

      • Br Coupons

My local Walgreens removes their “sale item stickers” on the last day of their weekly sale (Saturday)… just keep your sale flyer/paper with you when you do your shopping.

      • Newbie

Actually, many stores are terrible for marking the sale items at all.  But on Saturdays, many times the stickers are down.  BUT my WAGS told me that at 12 PM on Saturday, you can shop both weeks sales — the last day of the week you are in as well as the new week that starts the next day.

      • Newbie

I don’t even attempt to get deals at walgreens anymore because they are never in stock.  That and the ridiculous filler item requirement when I do get a rr and want to use it with a manu coupon next trip.  It is just so much easier and way more fun shopping cvs.  And cvs staff is so nice.

        • qdude

          Adios.

      • Anonymous

It is quite common in WAGS stores. Sometimes in some stores, they would have stickers for most items, then week after you may not see all or any in the same store. In your case, they might never have put the stickers to start with; or perhaps they took them off toget ready for next week. Regardless, you will just have be ready for searching the right products for your list at all times at WAGS stores.

    • Steph08252001

I have 2 RRs left from this week, both from huggies on different transactions. Next week, can I use both leftover RRs on the same trans, as long as I don’t buy huggies?

      • 22paisley

Yes.  You can even buy a Huggies item.  The key is that a Huggies RR will not print (if it is supposed to for that week) if it is purchased with a Huggies RR. ‘Make sense?

      • 22paisley

Also make sure that your number of coupons and RRs combined does not exceed the number of items purchased, or else you may need a “filler”.

      • Anonymous

Yes, you can. There is no restrictions on using “LIKE” RRs in one transaction.

    • guest

if i am buying 2 items and have 2 manufacturer coupons and 1 walgreens coupon, do i still need a filler?

      • Br Coupons

Yes… at least at my local walgreens you would.  As they tell me, you can’t have more coupons (mfg, store and/or RR) than you have items.  Number of items must equal (or be greater) than the number of coupons.

        • Sealine75

So if I am buying 1 item tomorrow, I can’t use both a mfg coupon and RR?

I’m just recently trying Walgreens and finding it very frustrating.  Two weeks ago the cashier told me I needed to buy another pack of Expo markers because they were 99 cents each and the coupon was for $2/2 so since they totaled $1.98 I had to be buy a 3rd pack?  Same day different Walgreens they had to give a me a gift card because RR weren’t working for the mouthwash. Then last week the cashier said I need to separate out my RR purchases for the RR wouldn’t print because of the purchases without?!?  Walgreens seems very frustrating and confusing to navigate and I thinking I might just spend my RR and be done with Walgreens.

          • qdude

Not sure why she told you to get another pack of markers.  Shouldn’t have been required.  The gift card was probably better than RR, as then it wouldn’t count as a Coupon.  Seems your Walgreens have some poor cashiers, which sucks. I have a local Walgreens and their cashiers are great.  Keep at it, once you learn all the nuances, you can save tons of money.

Also, yes you can most definitely use a mfg q and RR together, BUT, you will need a “filler” item.  You need to have the at least 2 items if you are going to use a mfg q and a RR.  Hope this helps.

          • Anonymous

            A) If you are buying item A that you have planned and you intend to use both manuf Q and RR, then you need item B as “filler”. Manuf Q attaches to item A and RR will need item B to attach to. That item B or filler can be anything as small as 10 cents worth.

            B)  If item cost is 1.98 and your coupon is over the value of the item, then they just have to adjust the price of the $2/2 Q to $1.98. Therefore, your cashier was incorrect. Print a WAGs Q policy which clearly states that in plain English.

            C) You need to separate RR purchases for the SAME offer only.  But you may combine different offers generating RR in one transaction and you should get multiple RRs for DIFFERENT offers with no problem. Just dont buy multiple of the same items/offers in one transaction. Pls. let me know if it is still confusing.

On a side note, WAGs will be changing into some ind of card system where you will earn points for dollar spent. So you wont have to deal with these RR and their rules.

            • Sealine75

Thank for the replies everyone.  I have been doing CVS for a few months and I find that so much easier.  Seems what I really need to understand is EB are like cash and RR are like coupons.

The CVS’s in my area are much nicer all around than the Walgreens stores, but I followed the deals.  And yeah the cashiers I had the last few trips where clueless.  I wasn’t buying multiple items for the same RR yet she had me ring my RR items in a separate transaction.  And I thought the whole marker thing was wrong but it was my first trip there.  Certainly shows I should do my reasearch first!

          • Zee

I had trouble with this today, I wish I would have read this list earlier, becase the Expo’s that are on sale will actually be used in my son’s school. Those neon colors aren’t going to cut it.

The manager of wags had to help the cashier today, and for the life of me I couldn’t understand why…until I got in my car. The Expo 2/2 coupon counts as two coupons. I had four packs and two coupons as well as the coupon book. The register would not take both of my q’s, I think if I had a filler it would have went through with no problem but hind  sight is 20/20. They couldn’t figure it out so they just gave them to me for .40 cents total (4 pks) or the tax on each pack. It’s just a guess tho

The markers were 1.98 they should have marked the coupon down

      • Kmm5355

I think it really depends on your store.  I had the same scenario as you last week and I did not need a filler item…but I have been told before that I did, so I grabbed a laffy taffy for $0.18!

      • qdude

You shouldn’t need a filler. If you look at this week’s flier (flyer that end’s today) on the back page they have an advert for Cottonelle TP.  They are showing that you can use an in store coupon and a MQ.  Bring that flier and show it to the manager if they give you any flack.  I just did some transactions stacking coupons today.

    • JrCouponator

Walgreens in Stockbridge GA has no idea about the Keri lotion.  I see a notethis week that it might not be the “same price” but store said they didn’t know about any RR running for a month – only week to week. My fave cashier (super helpful) and she asked what seemed to be the store manager on duty.  Has anyone in my area done the Keri lotion deal?

    • Kmm5355

Has anyone combined the Buy 1 Get 1 Free Tampax Pearl Compak Coupon with the $1 off Tampax Pearl Coupon?  I wasn’t sure if Walgreens was allowing you to stack them any more.  It seems like a lot of stores aren’t allowing it now.

    • Sealine75

Another question with Walgreens RR, can I buy 2 Colgate 360 toothbrushes and get the RR on both or do they have to be seperate transactions?  And am I understanding correctly that if I bought 2 toothbrushes and used two mfg coupons (one on each item) I would need a filler item to also be able to use my RR from last week?

      • qdude

One RR per  transaction.  You are correct, if you buy two brushes and use two MQ, you will need a filler to use RR.

To piggy back on that, the above is correct, reason being is that you can only have as many coupons as items that you have. So because you already had two MFG coupons on each item the filler will count as the third item thus allowing you to use the RR which is a MFG coupon. So 3 items, 3 MFG coupons allowed. Instore coupons do not count as MFG because they are not – so you can have two items and two instore coupons and use the RR with no problem.

      • Ruby_coupons

You will need to do two separate transactions to gain all your RR.  I did the herbal essence purchase today and bought two.  Instead of getting two $1/RR, I got one.  I returned one and re-did the transaction to get my RR.  HOpe this helps.

    • Destiny691966

I am thinking that Wags may have changed the RR policy. I went to Wags today and finally found my Keri lotion. bought them in two seperate transactions but went ahead and used the RR I got from the first bottle on the second bottle and it printed out another $5 RR. Is this just a mistake or is this going to be an ongoing thing? I know when I heard back from the Manager at my store she said they had changed the policy. This would make for a much better deal on multiple transactions.

      • mommyluvs2save

If you use a RR for the same item you are buying (ie Keri lotion) you will not get another RR for the same item (Keri Lotion even on another transaction). You can use it same day for any other item (Keri RR) and get RR for other items that qualify (ie RR on Colgate toothpaste), so you will use the Keri discount on the toothpaste and get a RR from the toothpaste you bought. Basically if you use the Keri on Keri you get the second Keri transaction free. So depends on what you are trying to achieve. Have a good one.

        • Misty

Destiny691966 just finished saying it DID print another RR; she wasn’t asking if it would.  This must be one of those fluke times that you can roll them.  That happened a few months ago on the Proglides, but it didn’t last long.

          • Darn was hoping maybe it was, but still hit the jackpot so Im good. Kinda helps me feel a little better about them. I havent been too happy with tryin to find the sale things at Wags lately.

Does anyone have the code for $2 off huggies diapers that was in the home mailer? My walgreens said they nothing about the mailer. They told me if I had the code I could use it to receive the $2 off.

      • JT

I don’t have the home mailer $2 off huggies diapers but I have the infant care book coupon. It is also for $2 off huggies, easily stacked with any other coupons you may have for huggies. One of the ladies on this site was nice enough to send the infant care book coupons in PDF format. If this is what you’re looking for I would be happy to email to you. Just let me know.

    • JT

Gotta love going to Wags at midnight to catch the deals before all the shelf clearers rise from the dead. I had a great shopping trip but had an issue maybe someone could help me with. My total with my 2nd transaction was $4.26 but I could not use a $4 ECB. The register beeped when I tried to do it. The cashier said something about I would only be paying the taxes on the products. I have run into this problem before and I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

      • Savinmoney11

Odds are if you took out the tax on your total that it was not enough to cover the actual item cost. Mine does it from time to time when I am close and thinking I can use so I just use it later.

      • Mcleodsc

Sales tax-you cannot pay any part with the RR.  You could have added a candy or something really cheap to get the subtotal to $4 and then used it.

      • Gipson_sun

May I have the email also gipson_sun@yahoo.com thanks so much

      • Anonymous

Not clear from your posting is a) how many items you had scanned and how many Qs you used, b) what was the tax only or subtotal only (before tax).

I have used Qs and/or RR alone or in a combo AND brought the balance (subtotal) to zero and paid only tax with no problems.

Either your subtotal was not $4 or more, or you were short of a “filler” for RR to attach to

        • Just to let everyone know…. The infant care coupon is for the big box diapers not the jumbo packs. You cannot use this coupon with the huggies deal. I tried last week and they pointed out that it was for a different size package. I don’t have the home mailer so I haven’t been able to try that. I am assuming that it will work, but not the infant care book coupon.

      • cindy wilhite

It happened to me one time my sub total was not enough u could have bought a small cheep filler an used it. Has it b more than ur rr are b 4 tax

    • Clippingfun

Okay so I was just at wags and I know I was cutting it close for the RR, and of course it did not print. It was right at 12:00… We called the manager over and she said there was nothing she could do, am I just SOL or What can I do??? I should have got a 3rr from crest and a 5rr from dove.

      • Mcleodsc

Two options: return everything and have them rering it today and hope the system is working or wait 48 hrs from purchase and call catalina co, give them the info on your receipt, wait a couple weeks for them to come thru the mail.
Also-the manager had several options available-I would report her to corporate.

      • Tinagregcoupon

I’m a wags manager.  The only thing you can try is asking the store if they have the mail in sheets for crest and dove.  Those are usually available in case the RR don’t print.  However since it was 12:00 they may not work either but it is worth a try.  I would wait until Monday and talk to the store manager.  Hope this helps.

        • Mcleodsc

In the past I have had managers give me a WAGS card with the amount that I should have got on it.
You don’t have to mail in anything. You can CALL Catalina Co as soon as 48 hrs have passed. The Catalina Co will be able to see exactly why your catalinas did not print-for example-no paper in machine, machine not turned on, sales not properly programmed into register/computer system.  I have ran into all 3 of these issues.  Usually the catalina co will send you more register rewards than what you should have gotten at the store.

          • Clippingfun

They said it was because it was 1200 midnight so that week RR deals was over. Do they usually cut off right at mid-night?Will the catalina co still fix it if it was excatly 12:00?

    • Savingmoney11

Just FYI on the dial nutrisystem: make sure you get one that is in the add specifically. It is only the two that are shown that will print rr. I made that mistake tonight after I swung thru since I got off work late and went ahead and went to wags. Mgr was nice and did exchange for me and it printed my rr reward. Just figured I would pass on the word to save anyone some frusteration later.

      • Anonymous

And those two are “Dial Nutrisystem BW” as opposed to just “Dial BW” wothout the nutrisystem. In WAGS, you must make sure the variety line and sizes for RR deals

    • Mcleodsc

Anyone having trouble finding the Reach floss again this week

    • Sandra_d_whitaker

you cant use the store coupon on the huggies diapers its only on the huggies box and big packs of diapers will not work on the slip on diapers I tryed.

      • Guest

I tried it, too.  And it did not work…even though it says Huggies Jumbo diapers on the coupon and on the Slip-ons package it is labeled a jumbo.

        • Rupa

Are you guys saying that infant care code didn’t work or the Walgreens home mailer didn’t work?

          • Lisakayyy

My infant care coupon didn’t work. If you have the home mailer coupon would you please please give me the code? I would be willing to mail qs to anyone who can give me home mailer codes if different from the infant care booklet. My email is lisakayyy@gmail.com

            • Guest

The infant care book needs to be reactavated in the store by a store manager for it to work again.

            • Anonymous

Are you saying that it should work with the slip on diapers and the only reason the infant care book coupon code is not working because it’s deactivated?

          • Rupa

Yep, I would do exchange of coupon for home mailer code to….it just doesn’t make sense to buy them if it doesn’t work.

    • Mithprnt

The Hot pockets store coupon is for 4 qty, don’t buy 6 or you will be charged full price for the last 2.

      • Elisha

Yup i just saw that too :(

      • Zee

That isnt true, I bought more than 4…but my store wouldnt accept thier own coupon because it was for 10 oz and the oz that were on sale was 9.

    • Rowdy117

No extra Degree RR, it just prints one $1.

      • LeAnn

      • Lane

The price is 9.99 minus the  $4.00 RR that will print when you buy it so it’s like paying $5.99 for it. You can’t use it to help pay for that purchase. Hope this helps.

      • Cellwife

        what did you say?

      • Anonymous

        a) You will be buying Gillette Fusion in your basket for $9.99.
        b) You will proceed to pay for it first. If you have their Q. its great. Then you would present $4 Q plus the balance on the razor in cash or credit (approx. $6 plus tax).
        c)  If you dont have the $4manuf Q., then you would pay $10 plus tax.
        d) At the end collect your receipt and do not forget to get your $4RR printed on a separate sheet. You can use that $4RR on any future purchase.

    • firemansgirl78

I did not have a good experience at my local Walgreens (Nashville area) today.  I had purchased the Revlon nail polish on Friday and planned on using my $3 RR on the crest deal today.  At the register, the store team lead refused to accept the RR because she said it was not printed on Walgreens paper and told me they have had issues with people making copies of RR at home and cutting them out to look like the real thing.  The salesgirl that checked me out on Friday remembered me and told the team lead she remembered checking me out but the team lead still refused to accept it.  My husband went in to talk to the team lead (because by this time, I was not thinking with a cool head) and left our phone number for the store manager to call us.  We did receive a call later on from the store manager and was told to return to the store and they would accept the $3 RR.  I am not sure how or why I received a Register Reward that was not printed on the proper paper (when I returned to purchase the Crest, the salesgirl hinted that it may have been a disgrunted employee that was fired on Friday).  I wanted to make everyone aware that when you receive your RR be sure there is pink print on the back or they will not honor them.  And to those who are ripping Walgreens off……..you are going to ruin couponing for everyone and I hope you are caught!

      • Anonymous

Sorry for your experience; but it might be that the employee was simply exaggerating one instance and found you as a convenient target to lash out at. Employees seem to turn hostile against “smart shoppers” at any instance because many employees already have personal conflict with smart shopping they do not or cant do or do not approve of in general.  I would stay positive though and not curse anyone

I found a $2.50 off of 2 of the .99  reach floss and or  .99 reach toothbrush in the 4/17 SS. Make it free plus overage! My Walgreens gives me the overage on another item if bought together.

I bought 1 air wick freshmatic and used a $3 RR from my previous dial purchase and my RR did not print. This is the second time this week that my RR did not print. I shop to the statesboro  Ga store and am getting very fed up with the lines that the manager is feeding me. Last week he said it was because I used a coupon. He said that if you use a coupon the RR will not print. I knew this was completely fabricated because It states in their circular that you can use RR and coupons to generate future RR. I called corporate and he changed his story. Today he said the machine simply was not working and I could fill out a form and wait 6-8 weeks. AHHHHHH I am tired of WALGREENS not honoring the deals that they advertise!

      • Anonymous

I am new to couponing but found out today after having to go to two different Wags all the across town from each other just to get a sale item and problem using my RR that printed from first purchase that in the future I will only shop at CVS from now on when there is a good deal with coupons,  too much frustration.

      • Anonymous

i went to walgreens yesterday and did the air wick deal and it didnt print my rr but the cashier said it had been messing up on all the ones like that so the manager came over and scanned a bigger one and it worked…i got my rr…

        • this happened to me as well. she scanned 3 different ones and it finally printed for the larger one.

Can someone please tell me what the Wags home mailer is? I ask 2 store employees they didn’t know, then someone told me they thought is was the monthly Q booklet, I didn’t think so. went to their website couldn’t find any info. other then the sign up for offers/Qs e-mailed, would this be it?

      • I live in Birmingham, Alabama and asked my local store manager and she had never heard of the home mailer either! I would love to know how to receive this as well!  Thanks.

    • Has anyone had any trouble with Walgreens allowing you to stack the Walgreens coupons and manufacturer coupons?  I have done this many times before but all of a sudden they won’t accept both and there isn’t anything on Walgreens’ website about a change in policy.  I even talked to an assistant manager about it!

      • Anonymous

I am fairly new at this couponing business but went to Walgreens today to get the Colgate toothpaste 4.99 and get $4 RR.  I then did another transaction and bought the Wisk on sale 6.99 and used a MF coupon for $2 off and my $4 RR and the lady told me since the RR prints MF coupon at the top, they make you buy another product, so I had to buy a cheapie 99 cents chap stick to get the deal. Still not a bad price but I said to cashier, that RR should not say MF coupon on it, and she said she does not know why they do it either and I replied: now I see why everyone wants to go to CVS to use the extracare bucks instead of Walgreens.  If they won’t let you stack coupons anymore, then there goes their coupon shoppers.

        • my understanding is that the register will not allow you to use more coupons than you have # of items. Ex: if you have 2 manufacturers coupons and 2 RR you must have at least 4 products in the transaction. I think this is why the scenarios sometimes have “use a small filler item” listed.

        • Anonymous

Actually the emloyee was correct. You needed a “cheapie” for RR to attach to. I guess it is marketing; and wags deals are real deals so basically making you buy extra item for RR is a sound compromise; whereas, CVS prices are much higher and now deas are scarce at CVS.

    • Anonymous

I’m kind of new to this. How do you get the Walgreens home mailer?

      • Anonymous

I would like to know too. I’m new in this

      • Home mailers are coupons that stores mail out to certain areas or markets.  Not everyone will have these, but I try to list everything available.

    • Has anyone else had trouble with wag the Reach items–the in-ad coupons make it 0.99 but I have a $1 MQ.  I tried 2 of these, first scanning my 2 MQ coupons first (2 items), and then the WQ, but it only took the in-ad discount off of one item.  Cashier said it was because they cant “mark down” the coupon to 99cents when its progamed for $1.  Transaction voided and he tried the in-ad Q first and then MQ, but still wouldnt allow last one scanned.  amount of coupon exceeds total.  I told the cashier and the manager that the policy states they will adjust the coupon down to the selling price of the item, but they say they arent allowed to change the coupon price, even down.  So frustrating!!

      • Katie, I know what you mean. I went to a Walgreen’s in Asheville, and they wouldn’t adjusta RR down a penny, so I ended up not using it and had to pay full price for my item. It was still worth it as I got back more  RR’s, but it does make things frustrating.

        • You need one filler item to absorb the overage.  At least that’s how it is at my Walgreens!

          • lYour right, that is how it works. In my case, I was going home from vacation with a tired family, and didn’t know I needed filler to go over RR value. I know that now though..ol.

      • Anonymous

That is exactly what I had been mentioning. It happes at registers in my area too. Do the following

        a) Buy something small few pennies to go along with 2 Reach brushes, then scan in-ad and then try both manuf $1Q. I know the first one goes thru but see if the second would go thru because now youwill have 2 penny overage that would be absorbed by your penny filler item. My area register does not allow that. If that does not work for yu either then

        b) take off the filler penny item and kindly ask the personnel to adjust the price down to 0.98 cents for the second Q. I have done it several times and they do have the ability to push it thru, Also, take a copy of policiy and show them.

Went to Walgreens tonight to buy the Zyrtec deal.  $18.99 with $4 newspaper coupon and $4 RR would have made it $10.99 which is a good deal for Zyrtec.  The RR did not print.  The manager said that some manufacturers are blocking the RR from printing when a coupon is used.  She said it works on some items but not others.  Same thing happened to me on the Pampers RR deal last week.  If this is the case, I won’t be shopping at Walgreens anymore.  I don’t want to deal with the frustration after my transaction is complete and no RR print.  Most items are cheaper at Target and if I can only use coupons OR RR but not both, I’ll be better off just shopping at Target.

I may have missed you posting about this but I wanted to let you know anyway.  RP 7/31 Walgreens is advertising Caress 2/$6.00 with $2 RR (7/31 – 8/27).  Use the $.75 off in RP 7/31 and it’s $1.25 each after RR.

RP 7/31 – Walgreens is advertising Caress body wash 2/$6 with $2 RR.  Use (2) $.75/1 from RP 7/31 = $1.25 each.  Much better deal than Publix this week.  I may have missed this post but wanted to mention it anyway.

I am new to Walgreen’s and was wondering if there is a limit to the deals. On the CVS post, it states “Limit1” Is this the same for Walgreens? Thanks for any help! i also wanted to get the Degree and Gatorade deals.

Just buy “one offer” per transaction. You will get only one RR printed for the same offer in one transaction. basically, if you want to buy more of the same, then just run separate transactions.

Did anyone get the $4 off Glade PlugIns Scented Oil refills, twin pk or (2) singles, SS 8/21 coupon listed above. It must be regional and thought about ordering a few but can not find it anywhere offered for sale.
