Electrasol doesn’t get a stock up symbol at $1.74.  That seems like an awesome price to me.  What’s the price we should wait for?  Haven’t been at this long enough to know when to wait.

If you hover over the acorn symbol with your cursor, you’ll see that it means “This is a great price. Stock up”. Not limited to just freebies or under $1 deals.

      • Anonymous

We’ve gotten them for free at CVS a few months back. If you missed that deal, $1.74 is your personal acorn. =]

      • Anonymous

this is definately a stock up price…so go ahead and buy!

      • Supersaver281

Don’t forget the $1 off cascade in the PG inserts. Free at Target and Walmart.

        • Lori

There’s a $1 Cascade at Walmart?  I must have missed it!

          • Lzbacnik

It is a small pack of 3 that sells for $ 1.00

            • Anonymous

Has anyone seen the 3-pack for $1.00 in Warner Robins, Georgia?  I have a good many coupons and would like to use them — even though my dishwasher is out of commission right now!

      • I’ve gotten it FREE many times when they had the same deal and a $2.50 was also out at the same time.  HOWEVER, it’s been since late Fall of 2010 that I was able to get that deal.  If you’re out of it, paying $1.74 is better than paying $4 so I would stock up on a few boxes but not a lot.  It does seem that the deals of the past are nowhere to be found anymore since EC show came out.  As Supersaver281 said you can get trail size Cascade for free with the $1 at Walmart.

    • Erin

Is the Carmex lotion a monthly deal or is it only for this coming week? I thought I read that it was a monthly deal somewhere.

      • gr4

I think I saw somewhere that it was a monthy deal too.

      • Anonymous

The cosmetics cashier at my wags told me it’s a month long deal. :)

    • Amanda

Does anyone know if the $2 coupon from the infant care booklet will work with the huggies slip-on diapers?  Has anyone tried this yet?

      • Sheryldhairston

I tried last week and it didn’t work for me.   I think the infant care Q is for a box versus the jumbo pack.

        • Lisa Jane Langley

Yes, I asked my store manager because it didn’t seem to match up to me either and he looked at it carefully and came to the same conclusion…It’s supposed to be for the “Big Pack” of Huggies diapers according to what is printed DIRECTLY on the front of the coupon. The big pack is ONLY the huge box of diapers. So these little packs are not valid with that coupon and if you are using it, you are committing coupon fraud and making all couponers look bad. *this is a general statement, not directed at anyone* Just because your store might let you get away with it, doesn’t mean it is right. People get away with shoplifting but it still is WRONG and is stealing. Using the wrong coupons on the wrong items is the SAME thing. (stepping off the soapbox now, sorry!)

      • Dana

Where is this Infant Care Coupon booklet that I keep hearing about? It is not in any of my Wg’s!

      • Ancassels

        doesn’t work. I already tried.

    • Yvette

when stayfree was b1 g1 I tried to use a b1g1 coupon to get  2 free. the manager would not let me combine and said i had to get 4, when looking at their coupon policy I dont see anythign about this.  Can someone pls comment on what i shoul dhave done,

      • Ithinkits2005

Each Walgreens store manager can set policy(with their DM’s approval) for that store.  When the new coupon policy was established there was a disclaimer at the bottom of it stating that, not sure if they still have it on there or not though.

        • Anonymous

The disclaimer is not there. However, there is a text on top para that states

“Any coupon offer not covered in these guidelines will be accepted at the discretion of Walgreens management.”

Which means, all stores must comply with what is stated in the policy across the board. Anything that is NOT covered is at discretion-meaning, you may like to be friendlier and accept any other coupon/sale combo beneficial to your customers; not to be tightening noose on your customers.

      • Anonymous

        The policy states

“When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.”

Although, the policy does not specifically mentions b1g1 Qs, it can be safely concluded in regards to b1g1 Qs from above text that

        a) You are only using 1 coupon instead of 2 allowed, so it seems a go for one b1g1 Q on such promotions

        b) By using manuf b1g1 Q on such store promotion, “the net price would not go below zero for the items being purchased.”

Thus, one b1g1 Q can be used PER store promo of b1g1 in full compliance with the policy

    • Bjnesom

At my Walgreens they had Advil 100 count with bonus 50 count bottle that with the 2 dollar q and RR made for  1.99.  It was cheaper than the store brand!

    • Anonymous

This is a week that tests the dedication of couponers everywhere! No great deals, no newspaper to be purchased and a long weekend to boot. There is one easy $10 RR-roll from this week’s deal for the glucose monitors, which most people don’t need.

      • It’s all relative. I see a reason to go in Wags this week and I haven’t in awhile.

    • Lrader1015

If you hurry this week, you can buy the 5.99 huggies refill wipes of 216 at 5.99 with the infant q-$2 for $3.  Plus you can use a manufacturer coupon of -40 cents!  This makes it $3.59! Just FYI.

    • Jgutierrez

What is the sale on the Bio-oil and lumene skin care I can not see it

    • Debehussey

The infant care booklet coupon for Huggies diapers is for the big box not the Jumbo pack. The price on here is wrong

    • My WAGS stores have a lot of Vicks products on clearance for as little as $1.39, so the $3/2 coupon made them free.

I wish I got the Register Rewards deals that you guys across the rest of the U.S. get :( Unfortunately, I live in the Richmond VA area where we are part of a pilot program. We have a Walgreens Rewards Card (similar to CVS extracare card). When we purchase items that are on sale we earn points which we can use to purchase things like gift cards, reward certificates and merchandise from (https://www.walgreensrewards.c…. If you guys have say 25 Register Reward items in the ad, we maybe get 7. I heard that eventually the Walgreens Rewards Card was going to be U.S. wide and the Register Rewards deals would be limited, like it is for us currently.

      • Nursealf

wow, that’s interesting! And not encouraging! I didn’t know about the pilot program, doesn’t sound like a winner in my book!

      • Couponmama1315

Our neighboring city has the pilot program too, so I registered for a card.  Then I use the card in my town and receive the RR and the points with my card.  Has worked well.  I do hope the pilot rewards program doesn’t stick because the RR are a much better deal…and you can use the RR right away!

    • Kellymccormick94

How do I get the Aveeno Coupon?  I have a recycle bank account but I am still learning how to use this one. I don’t have points yet.  Can I acces this coupon this week?

      • Anonymous

I think its 50 points to get. But you can easily get that by doing the Green your back to school. That’ll get you over 200 points I believe.

      • Coupongal1

The Aveeno coupon is 75 points – so if you have 150 points to use for the 2 coupons – you just go to the rewards under beauty & cosmetics and put how many you want in your cart.  When done ordering just check out. It will let your print after you check out.

    • Anonymous

You can search the rewards. Just type Aveeno into the box above reward catagories and it should be there. Its a $2 off any Aveeno product.

$1 off 2 Nabisco crackers pg.12 in wags sept. q’s book!  Hopefully your area’s store price is the same as jenny’s matchup and that would mean free crackers as long as you have manu q’s to stack:)  I also have buy 2 nabisco and 2 coke 2liter, get $2 off, hoping to stack that as well…
my store has a RR deal all month:  assorted thermacare $6.99, get 5RR.  Stack w/$2 q=FREE THERMACARE!!!  *tried it yesterday, but RR didn’t print(even though there were signs up for it)so manager gave me $5 “W” card instead:)  great for taking care of that oop expense and not having to deal w/finding a suitable filler to go w/a RR!  wondering if the advil/thermacare RR will double print w/this RR….hmmmm….?

      • Anonymous

Last week my store had a sign on the Advil for $5 RR and they did not print out either so the manager gave me $5. I’m guessing the signs should somehow reference buying the other product but don’t.

My local Walgreens has marked down their Liquid Nyquil and Nyquil gelcaps to $1.59 and $1.79. There was a coupon for $3 off the purchase of two items. Great deal!!! Wish I had more coupons.

    • Liz

Sooo, I think there should have been an acorn next to the Osteo Bi-Flex because it has potential to be a good money maker next week!!!

Osteo Bi-Flex prices start at $19.99 (online price) – B1G1 FREEUse (2) $7/1 Osteo Bi Flex Coupons (8/7 RP)PLUSUse $5/1 Osteo Bi-Flex Coupon Walgreens September Coupon Book (pg 44) -(Should deduct $10) Hand over lastFinal Price = FREE + Possible $4.01 Money Maker(This SHOULD work in theory, and you would need to have enough other items in your transaction to cover the overage, since you won’t actually get cash back.)

      • This does not work.  The Osteo that is B1B1 is priced at $29.99.  They do have a Osteo that is normal $19.99 marked down to $14.99, but is not included in the B1G1.

        • Liz

It is at my store.  There are two differen’t ones for 19.99 that are B1G1.  None of mine at my store were marked down to 14.99 tho.

    • Lori

      What is a $.10 filler?

      • Piglet_086

Some Walgreens have Laffy Taffy singles or some small candy item at the register.

      • Lisabong

Google “Filler items at walgreens explained” and a youtube video will come up that explains it quite well.. The rule is one coupon per item and if you pay with an RR that counts as a coupon. Each coupon attaches to an item. If you have a coupon for something you cant use an RR to pay so you need a filler item for the RR to attach to. Sounds complicated but its not…google for that video I cant post the link here.

I need some help with the Suave scenario. I received the Suave sample pack in the mail from Walmart this week. It had a coupon for $1 off 2 Suave Professionals hair products. It states that it cannot be redeemed with another offer. I also have the “Buy One Suave Professionals 28 oz or larger, Get One Suave Professionals Styler free” coupon.

Can those be combined? For example:
Buy 2 of the Suave Professionals Shampoo or Conditioner  2/$6.00
      Use $1/2 coupon
      Use 2 BOGO styler coupons
Cost: $5.00 for 2 shampoos and 2 stylers, earn $2 RR

The wording on the $1/2 is confusing to me. Anyone else have that same coupon? I want to make sure I’m following the rules. Thanks for any help!

      • Anonymous

That “another offer” wording is elusive. However, as a general rule, yes you can do the way you have planned.

      • Anonymous

Yes the $1/2 worked with the B1G1 (maybe I wasn’t supposed to). I did one transaction with both and another one using just the B1G1, and now I realize I did not get my RR with either transaction. HMMM, always something! Did great overall with all my purchases.

      • Haley

Thank you both for the help!

    • 3boysmom

I have a question. I have a $9.50 RR from last weeks promotion. It was not advertised as procor and gamble but as a Gillette promotion, which is a p&g product. Can i use that rr to get the olay rr this week? Also a p&g product but a different promotion??

      • mommyof3girls

I am not exactly sure, but from my understanding no.  It can’t be used with any other p&g promotion…it would have to be used on another type of product promotion to get the RR to print.  I am still learning myself…

      • Anonymous

Actually, I have used RR from the same manufacturer to get RR on a different promotion. However, my RR “paying in” and RR “printing out” were of different values. Not sure, if the same value RR (but different promo) would still work; but many had said it wont work if the RR values are same dollar amount.

      • Anonymous

Because the value of the RR are different you can use the $9.50 P&G RR and still receive the $6 P&G  RR.  Had the Gillette deal produced a $6 RR, it would be a no go.  However, since the values are different, you are safe.

    • Steph08252001

suave:  i have the B1G1.  so i get two for three dollars.  can i also use two “cents off” coupons, to make the price even lower?  of course, i will still get the RR.

      • Anonymous

No, but if you have a “cents off one”, you should be able to use it.

    • Adubiel

I just had my worst couponing experience at walgreens. I live in tampa and there is a huge problem of people clearing selfs for items the first thing in the morning. So I decided to go to a 24 hour walgreens at midnight for the deals. I arrived at 11:45 and arrived for the arizona tea for $1.98 deal and the bogo Nasbico cookies. From my papers I was going to buy 4 arizona teas and 12 small boxes of cookies. There was a very large supply of cookies with about 30 for each of the 8 different flavors of cookies that were there so this was far from clearing the shelf. At max I got 4 of one flavor. I go to check out and its about 12:15 the manager was having difficulties with another customer and price matching cigarettes. I was two people back in line and once she saw that I was obviously going to use coupons she started to complain about “couponers” and everything else under the sun. When I was finally at the register she promptly told me that I was over my limit on the BOGO cookies, with my ad in hand I showed her that there was no limit on the cookies, to which she responded by saying that she was then reserving her right to place a limit on the amount of cookies I could buy to 4. I said that that was reasonable even though I was far from clearing the shelf and explained that my boyfriend would be doing a separate transaction to get his 4 cookies. When I then heard the lines “the limit is per party per visit”. I was still fine until she walked away to have another cashier deal with the transaction and I left with my 4 arizona teas and my 4 nabisco cookies. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized I hadn’t even gotten the deal on the tea because the cashier didn’t properly scan the coupon I handed him. I am beyond frustrated right now and I have plans to call headquarters and complain. I do not believe my experience was encouraging the use of coupons at all. “Walgreens encourages the use of coupons by our customers in our retail stores”

      • Couponcrazy80

I have had the same problems @ walgreens.  I live in TN and have one Walgreens that will bend over backwards to help you, everytime i call to complain on one of the other stores I might have stopped at since I was in there area and end up having a bad exp. I praise the other store too.  Walgreens is good though to honor your complaint and address the situation.  Make sure you call,  they dont know whats going on unless we tell them.  If it had of been me,  I would have left the buggy sitting and let them know on the spot I would be addressing it with Corporate.

      • Dee

i’ve also had problems at walgreens with the cashier, she doesnt let me use my coupon she says that i have to buy whats pictured, & also she also was rude to my brother when he went to get  the 4 sodas for 13 dollars deal she told him he couldnt get the dr.pepper. so he didnt, but i went to another walgreens & i was able to get the dr.pepper, i dread goin to walgreens wehn she is there, so i dont go to walgreens b/c of her b/c shes always there. & the other walgreens is just to farr for me to travel..!!!

        • Anonymous

Why don’t you complain to corporate and mention names? One employee shouldn’t keep customers away right?

        • Anonymous

Maybe your cashier was confused about Dr. Pepper.  In some areas it is a Pepsi product and in others it is a Coke product.

      • Flyingeese40

I understand all of your frustrations b/c I had similar experiences with a RiteAid (then Eckerds) and one person who terrorized the customers. But our Walgreens on the N. end of Falls of Neuse in Raleigh employs WONDERFUL personnel from the regular staff to the managers. They go out of their way to help find advertised merchandise and to help figure out how to use coupons and match deals. It’s a welcome experience!

        • Faithhopelove1297

That is how ours is.  They have an amazing staff that is always trying to help YOU save money.  If walgreens isn’t working out, maybe you should switch to a different drug store.  I am know using walgreens more than CVS now.  whatever works for you!

      • Jill S.

I had a horrible couponing experience at my Walgreens in Pelham this weekend> They had nothing marked properly, so when I got to the register, nothing was ringing up on sale.  The on top of that I had issues using my coupons and RR!

        • Anonymous

Sorry about your experience. You might want to call corporate. I live in B’ham and had issues with the Eastwood location. I called customer service and surprisingly a manager called me back within a few hours. I told him what happened. He got my info and was very apologetic. Said he would work with cashier to avoid similar situations.

      • Anonymous

Sorry about your experience. However, you are contradicting yourself. You have a problem people clearing shelves, so you are complaining and the management listened and she put a limit on how many you would buy. Isn’t that fair so the next person like you would have enough of those items also !

Although, you are getting “4 maximum of one flavor” times the number of flavor in your hands, is pretty evident that you are also a part of the probem of clearing shelves. Not bashing you but something to think about; we all are a part of the problem, not a solution.

That’s what I had thought of yesterday.

      • Anonymous

Have you check the specific products included? I haven’t looked at the ad or q yet, but is the item you have to buy different from the items on sale?  May be more out of pocket for the purchase of the initial item to get the “free” items.  idk… (or tired hands typing the ad up :)

Question: I’ve never done Walgreens before but it looks like I can take advantage of a few deals this week and get some RRs. My question is, can RR be used like cash towards anything? (Like CVS’s extrabucks?) I saw a comment a ways down about the confusion of RR earned thru p&g vs. gillet and not being able to use one for the other, or something like that…. I am confused! help! (please?) ;)

      • Faithhopelove1297

Yes, walgreens register rewards are the same as cvs’s extrabucks.  They can be used toward most products, but I’m not sure about using them on drugs.

        • Liz S.

Thank you! I don’t think I’d be using them on drugs, just general merchandise. Thanks so much! :)

          • Rclay18

The register rewards are tricky. There are no limits, but you cannot buy 2 of the same RR deals in the same transaction and get RRs on both of them. You will only get the RRs once. You have to do another transaction to get the RRs again. You cannot roll RRs from the same manufacturer. If you use a RR on another RR deal by the same manufacturer then the RR for the new deal will not print. For example: you cannot use a proctor and gamble RR on a Proctor and gamble product RR deal and get another RR. RRs are like manu coupons in the fact that you cannot have more manu coupons than you have product. For example: buy 5 items and use 5 coupons plus a RR. This makes 6 coupons for only 5 items. You have to have a filler item so you will have 6 items to match the number of coupons. It’s confusing to me. I always plan carefully before I get up to the register. Hope this helps. Hope I didn’t confuse you. Be sure to watch Jenny’s tutorials on walgreens and read how to do the deals before you try. Otherwise it can be a BIG headache! Some deals are a lot easier than others.

            • Anonymous

good information! however …for the second week in a row ..at 2 different wags..& two different “managers”..I was told ” you CANNOT use a RR and get an RR…! Both times I have explained just as you said..you cant get one with the same manufacturer, but for years now we can and do use a RR to pay for a deal..and we can & do receive another RR..they just look at me (blank stare) & say no that can’t happen..then eventually it works out & they just look surprised & sheepish. I wish Wags would bother to inform and educate their employees (& managers)

            • Calpurnia78

I know, right? How many of these employees try to tell me that. Then when the RR prints out they are stunned. I had one MANAGER who had been there 2 years not know it would print an RR if you paid with one.

            • Liz S.

Wow! Thanks for all that good info! I plan on doing one transaction and purchasing 3 completely different products to earn the RR on each. Will those RR combine to one ‘coupon’ at the bottom of my receipt? Or will it print as 3 separate coupons? I plan on then using those RR to purchase toys from their toy section as stocking stuffers for xmas and will probably have more than 3 items on the second transaction for which I will use the RR to pay. So I *shouldn’t* run into the problem of not having enough items for the number of coupons I will use.  We shall see! :)

Thanks again to everyone for all the great info and insight!

            • Anonymous

You will get 3 separate coupons for your RRs.

            • HonestShopper

Another way of looking at it is the manufacturer is trying to get their product out there for people to get “hooked” and become return customers, therefore there is a “one offer per customer” policy. If they know you have already received the offer from that manufacturer (you have received the RR already) then it will not print another. “Pretend” that you are a separate customer on a separate transaction to get another coupon…if you redeem one from the same offer the register knows you have already received the same offer and therefore will not allow you to “cheat”. Annoying, but all in the game, lol

      • Jill S.

My Walgreens will not let me use my RR as cash like CVS does – you have to use each of them like a MF coupon, which I did not realize until this weekend.  I was very frustrated by this and left the store without my purchase – very frustrated!  So I will start over this week.

        • HonestShopper

The way that RRs work, the store has to send them in for reimbursement and for all intents and purposes they are manufacturer’s coupons. The company that makes the item you received them from pays walgreens back. The restrictions are mostly due to the companies aggreeing to credit towards merchandise and not cash in your pocket as well as there is no feasible way to pay tax with “pretend” money

    • qdude

I read a post on here written by a Wags employee that there is a 12 hour window on Saturday in which both ads (the week that is ending and the one starting next day) were good.  That is partially true.  I did an experiment at my local Wags, and tried to get the Mitchum Deodorant last night.  It rang up as the sale price, but would not give the RR.  The staff there is really cool and had no problem letting me try it knowing they may have to refund me.  I got my money back and will go back today to do the sale and get the RR.

      • Liz

RR are prompted by Catalina, and their systems update every night from about 10pm til 7am.  I would highly advise NOT to shop during that time if you’re expecting RR.  You can call Catalina with your receipt information (1-888-8COUPON) and they’ll take care of it for you, but it’s just a hassle.  I try to always shop my RR deals during regular hours to ensure I get my RR.

        • qdude

yeah, I normally just wait…but as I said, I just wanted to experiment, and thought I would report my findings.

    • Faithhopelove1297

Awesome, Walgreens in my opinion is better than CVS.  They are more flexible w/ coupons than CVS, and they have a VERY nice cashier that will scan the coupon 5 times just so it will work for you : )  There cosmetics and hair products are almost always on sale it seems. Looking foward to my Sunday night Walgreens trip!!!!!!

      • Anonymous

Just curious, where is your Walgreen’s? I wish I had one like that. Although I am fortunate to have some nice cashiers, mine is not flexible with coupons at all.

      • Anonymous

I just posted the same up there. WAGS in my area is very very friendly in almost all cases and employees are attitude free and are willing to work with us and in almost all cases they just scan the coupons without being coupon police-I like it that way very much and it shows positive attitude. Whereas, CVS is getting picky and inferior in service where I am

    • Mistym820

Anyone thinking about getting the v8 fusion would get a better deal printing 2 1.00 off coupons and taking them to the bogo sale at publix.  I got 2 bottles for 99 cents.  Just a heads up!  :)

      • Anonymous

Is the Fusion on sale too? I thought it was just V8 Splash.

On the Nabisco Pepperidge Farms deal notice that they are the singe stack size boxes. That makes them an OK deal in most cases.

      • Anonymous

If you look at the coupon in the WAGS September booklet its for 1$/2 6 – 16oz. I was told that fig newtons in the smaller size were 6oz so if you like fig newtons this deal could work.

Fig Newtons single stack boxes 1.99 B1G1 free
use $1/2 SS8/7 Nabisco cookies or crackers
AND use $1/2 Nabisco cookies or crackers 6-16oz WAGS Sept BKLT

If you still have your 55 cent off manufacturers coupons for the Reynolds Wrap Foil it makes it 24 cents a roll!

      • alliR

Did you try it? I was wondering if it would work because my coupon says it excludes 20ft rolls and the ad says only 20ft are .79…..

        • Stevi Lucas

yea i was wondering the same thing if that coupon worked since it says specifically excludes 20 ft

          • Anonymous

My WAGS in NT,NY works with this reynolds wrap deal. I did it before awhile back. There was a $1 for reynolds wrap in SS 8/14. I got the 20sq ft size this time because that’s the smaller of the two sizes on the shelf. Last time it was 25sq ft.

So every time I buy a Reynolds wrap with the in ad .79 and the $1 off it makes me  .20 cents on my order!!

          • HonestShopper

If it specifically excludes a certain size/item it is actually considered coupon fraud to use it. Unfortunately for the cashiers (and fortunately for you) they may not catch it since whoever enters the coupons into the system may have made a human error so it does not “beep”. If you know that what you are trying to get is not included on the coupon, do the cashiers a favor and don’t use it…especially since they can get in trouble for not catching it themselves

That coupon excludes the size on sale here. Coupon does not beep; it will still go through, does not mean the coupon was meant for that size.

It looks like WAGs and CVs have switched sides; wags is becoming more friendly and is overlooking; while CVS is surely tightening the noose on coupons

      • intheSonshine

If the wording on the coupon excludes the size on sale, it is WRONG to use it. Couponing often depends on honesty and integrity, which are scarce in today’s world…..as we see often on the things posted here and shows like Extreme Couponing, etc.

        • Anonymous

Coupon fraud is what you call it!!!!

    • Andrea Ruley

Not real sure what Walgreens your shopping at, but a few of these deals are off. The Aveeno deal was for 2 items then get 5RR, and the Carmex was the same. You had to buy two products just to get one for “almost” free. I love this sight but it has been wrong quite a few times lately.

      • Couponing_Rocks!

If you are talking about the Aveeno shave cream, mine in Knoxville, TN was just like Jenny posted.  They were 2 for $8.00 with 4 RR back.  I used 2 – $2.00 coupons on any Aveeno product from recyclebank which made them completely free.

      • Liz S.

Different regions price their items differently. Thus, some deals listed here may not be as great of a deal in your area. However, you may have a great deal not even listed here because it may only be on promotion in your area! :)

      MONEY MAKER
Osteo  Bi-Flex is BOGO this week.  At my Wags the cost is $ 19.99.  In the Sept Wags book page 44 there is a $ 5.00 off on Osteo Bi-Flex.  Combine this with the manufacturers coupon RP 8-07 for $ 7.00 and this is a money maker of $ 4.01.  Use 2 $7.00 man coupons and the Sept Wags book will deduct $10.00 for the two.  It works I just got my two.  Yea, Woo woo!

      • tala

In my Walgreens they weren’t  bogo.  Only big bottles which cost $32.99.  I checked it  out.

      • Anonymous

You bought item A and item B was bogo for $0.00. You used the monthly book coupon for $5/1; so it would deduct $5 from item A. Are you saying, the coupon scan also deducted $5 from item B, thus bringing the item B cost to negative 5 dollars?

        • Lzbacnik

It deducted $ 5.00 on both items and I had 2-$ 7.00 manufacturers coupons.  So it was a $ 5.00 profit.

    • dee_dee

Went to Walgreens and got 5 palmolive dish detergents at 0.89 cent each with in ad coupon, plus I was able to use (5) 0.25 cent off!  Great deal!

    • Bad Marriage

Just worked a great deal at Wags… had two $5.00 RR from the Keri Lotion deal a couple weeks ago.  Today I bought two bottles of Nyquil for $11 (sale price) – $3 mfg from Sept P&G – $5 RR = $3 – $2 RR back for the Nyquil purchase = two eight oz. bottles of Nyquil for $1 (plus tax).  Went right back in and did it again…. four Nyquil for $2

    • Stevi Lucas

Walgreens has Woolite on sale for 6.99 and I have a 2.00 off coupon from Woolites Facebook page(which to my knowledge is still available). Is that a good deal or should I wait around and see if a better deal comes up?

      • Anonymous

I think it’s the machine wash detergent, not hand wash version. Not a great price for detergent.

    • I tried to use a $1 register rewqrds today at my local Wags to buy 2 Kleenx on BOGO for $2.29 with a $.50 off 2 manufacturer;’s coupon. Was told by the cashier the register rewards was a manufacturer’s coupon and since I used one for the $.50 off 2, I could not use it. After the manager showed up, he was clueless… after 10 minutes, the manage could not figure the transaction. Even after I asked why the register reward sis advertised a script.

Walgreen’s has lost a lifetime customer.

    • Jes

Do all Walgreens accept printable coupons?

      • Ckjohnson

They all should. The Walgreens in Fort Payne, Al does.

      • Anonymous

“Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons. ”

This was from WAGS own advertised policies. There is no room for argument there. Print a copy of wags coup policy and keep it with you in case.

    • Bianca

Having trouble finding the Carmex coupon for $1 off. Does anybody know what area code it’s under?

    • Ifloat2010

I went to Walgreens yesterday and tried to purchase the Thermacare for $5.99.  Sign says that I should get $5.00 RR back. I had a $2.00 coupon which would have made it free plus profit.  However the RR didn’t print so the chashier called the Manager who said that I had to buy an Advil product AND a Thermacare product. The yellow tag below the product didn’t state that to be true.  Anyone else have this happen?  Should I have debated a little harder on this one?

      • Anonymous

The advertising clearly states “AND” meaning you had to buy both in one transaction. So, there is no room for argument there. However, the shelf tag must also correctly reflect the sale as it is. If the shelf tag only stated RR for buying that particular item only, then that is something you could argue. But I am not sure how far you could have gone with that or what result you could expect from the manager.  Needless to say, businesses must not use deceptive marketing and must honor their sale as advertised.

      • Jgutierrez

i did the same thing and the manager explain I need it to buy the Advil so i return everything :(

      • Scrappingramma5

I bought them last week and hadnt realized the day I bought my first one that the RR didnt print. I figured it out the next day since I didnt want to use it again with this transaction and no RR!! I had cashier ring 1 up and no RR came out. The manager was confused also as the sign did not include and “ands”. So he pushed it through using a different item that produced a $5RR. I did not see it in the ad last week and figured it was one ofd there unadvertised deals. Maybe it was up early for this weeks ad now. Frustrating that some stores dont even want to help[ you. But this store usually helps to do as their signs say.

    • AJ

Osteo Bi-Flex ($22.99) didn’t ring up B1G1, so when the manager went to refund me for one, she tried to void the Walgreens $5 coupon.  She couldn’t figure it out so she just left it.  The Aveeno coupon from Recyclebank didn’t work on the shave gel.  The cashier said it was for facial products only (even though it says “any Aveeno product”).  The Air Wick coupon didn’t work (although the cashier said I had the right item) and she didn’t know how to adjust the coupon down anyway and neither did the manager.  They told me to come back in 2 days when the head manager would be there.

      • Couponing_Rocks!

Wow – sounds like a horrible trip.  The recyclebank coupon should have worked on the shave cream.  I used two with no problem or “beeps”.  Sounds like something was going on wierd at your store.

      • Haley

Oh my! That sounds like a rough trip. I had an issue with my Osteo Bi-Flex. I purchased the $19.99 ones and when the cashier rang them up the total was $43.98. I had to get the ad and show her they were BOGO. She called up a manager and they had to enter in the price manually. She rang up one as $10.00 and one as $9.99. I was still able to use my two -$7.00 MQs and my Wags Q. I think it actually deducted the whole $10 when it should’ve been adjusted down since Wags doesn’t usually do overage.

I used the Aveeno coupon on the shave gels with no problem. I also used 3 of the $2.00/2 Airwick coupons. I bought 4 of the warmers and 2 of the oils. The oils were on sale 2/$6.00, so I’m not sure if my Qs went through without a beep because of those or not.

I hope you have a better trip next time!

Try laffy taffy.  They may be by the register, the candy aisle, or the beauty register.  My Wwga actually keeps a few there just for that purpose.  Good luck!

Ask the manager at your store.

if you havent signed up yet got hru my link here. Then you watch videos and answer questions to earn points. Then when you have enough you use the points to buy coupons…sort of… it takes some time but you can get some really good coupons.

Has anyone used the Infant Care Huggies coupon on a Jumbo pack? It beeped when I tried and was told it must be valid for the big box only. I am not trying to do coupon fraud. Just wondering since my store doesn’t even have the Walgreen’s brand diaper coupon in their system so they always have to price adjust for me. I’m wondering if I should try a different store if it is valid for Jumbo packs.  :)

      • Drew’s Mom

I have tried to use it a couple of times and it beeped both times. I was told the same that it was for the box not the jumbo pack!!

    • Lovetosave73

Can you use the RR’s at WalMart?

      • Jgutierrez

Yes :) anyt store that takes coupons

      • 22paisley

I have three WalMart stores around me and none of them will take RRs.  They say it is because the RRs are not a Q because they are not for a certain item but instead “off your next” store puchase.  So you may want to check with your local store first.  Good luck!

      • Ryan

No, read their coupon policy.  They don’t take register coupons for total off the basket.  Only for a specific item

      • Jgutierrez

sorry i got the wrong information from some one else then a employee from walgreens she said yes i can use my RR for it was a manufacture coupon sorry again :(

    • Steph08252001

I know I can’t use p&g RRs to get more p&g RRs, but can I use the p&g RRs for other p&g products that aren’t offering rewards?

      • Anonymous

Yes, you can. Actually you can also use them on the same deals or RR offers; its just that RR wont print again.

There is also misconception about RR. You can use RRs from the same manufacturer to get new RR as long as RR ‘paying in” and “printing out” are of different dollar amount. I have done this million times.

      Hi,
I am working on a program for couponing and tracking savings on a store basis/ weekly basis/ monthly basis and year to date.  You will be able to enter each item and corresponding q, it will figure your qs depending on qty bought and qty of Q’s with separate store Q’s  and man Q’s, it will figure reward, value after rewards, savings, and goal OOP per transaction.  Being able to log multiple transactions per trip or week.  It will keep a item/q qty count, let u deduct rewards and oth discounts, it will figure ur overall q savings, reward savings, total value, total OOP, and your savings percentage and allow for entering your actual amounts from your receipt after the purchase so you can tell how much you are spending over your plan.  It will have areas separate ares for: pharmacies, grocery stores, superstores, general stores, dept stores, hardware stores, dining, entertainment, services, and “other” store not listed.  It will figure data and savings from all the above so you can see your savings on a long term view.
What I need from you….. Is there any other features you would like to see on this program?
I plan to have it finished within the next month or so.  You can look for it under “sherriduncan76’s couponing and savings tracker”. I will be sure to post the info for it on all the main coupling sites.
Thanks for any other ideas you have, and keep an eye out for it!

i went to walgreens last night and found nyquil for 1.39 for a bottle and for the 10 count. also the double pack bottles were only 3.49 use the 3.00/2q and some things will be free. so be on the look out for this deal.

    • Momnwife

oh no! and i used all my recycle bank points to print out the aveeno coupons. i hope the are on sale at my store. where are you located???

I had four “free coupons” –two for aussie hair products and two for herbal essences (from facebook awhile back, mom gave me hers to use too). The deal for my store was buy 2 of aussie or herbal essences and get $2 RR back. I was asking several store clerks if I was allowed to use all 4 coupons and get two sets of $2 RR back, and they were all confused but the manager finally told me that yes I could, but just to buy 2 products in one transaction and two in the next. Then I went to ring everything up and he said I wasn’t allowed to use two “free product” coupons in the transaction, only 1 coupon allowed. I then noticed in small print in the ad that it says 1 coupon allowed but I was all confused – if you are getting 2 products how come youre only allowed to use 1 coupon? Not to mention a little irritated since I had explained everything for 5 minutes to him, the manager, and he told me I could but then said I couldn’t. Can anyone explain this to me a little better? I havent shopped at Walgreens in awhile so maybe I’m rusty with the rules. I just used 2 pantene “free” coupons last week at CVS with no problem so it seems a little picky

      • Anonymous

        If I understand it correctly

        You would first buy
        A) two aussie products and then can only use 1 b1g1 free Q, and you would get $2RR
        B) You would repeat A to get another $2RR (but not use the prdvious $2RR)

        C) Now you would buy two Herbal Essence and use 1 b1g1 free Q for HE, and get $2RR
        D) You would repeat C

If you are asking if you could use 2 b1g1 Q on just two products together, then NO

Also, note that you would not be paying with those RRs fr the same deal because RR wont print if you did.

        • Anonymous

they weren’t B1G1 free coupons, they were completely free coupons..like “try me free”

Sorry, I misunderstood!  Then you could have used two on two products in one transaction. I do not see why there was an argument about it. You should have just gone ahead with the transaction without making a fuss about it. If you ask too many questions and permissions, they become suspicious and would then start making up nutty things like it happned to you now-I do not see why you needed so much attention towards otherwise a normal transaction.  Next time, it is better to have full confidence in self and go for it with your head up high without drawing such unnecessary attention.

well the ad did state “1 coupon per transaction” so I thought that went along with what the guy was saying, since I was technically trying to use 2..but either way it seems odd they would have that rule. I might try to go to another walgreens and not ask questions and see what happens..thanks

I just left WAG’s after working the Osteo bi-flex deal. One of the associate managers proceeds to tell me that WAGS no longer accepts two coupons on BOGO deals. (Of course they let me do it this one time but just as FYI they just wanted me to be aware “just in-case I come across a problem down the road.) They had a stack of papers that were supposed to be e-mail memos from corporate. Has anyone else heard of this?

I had this same problem last week with the Vanity Fair plates and napkins. They were BOGO and I had a $0.55/1Q for each. The register beeped so a manager was called over. He said that I was not allowed to use a Q for the 2nd set of plates that were free. I said I was buying 2 and using 2 manufacturers Qs and they manufacturer would be reimbursing them for both of them. He said that was coupon fraud and compared it to using a coupon of higher value than the item purchasing and said I was committing coupon fraud. I said no it wasn’t then he said it was against WAGs corporate policy to take a coupon on the free item. He said he would let me do it this one time also. Is this really their corporate policy?

I did this with Rite Aid recently and they used both coupons.  No problem. No computer beep.  (I was accused of coupon fraud by a fellow couponer on the Rite Aid site, which really hurt.)  I was refused at Walgreens once; I think a lot of times it’s the particular cashier that is at the register or the manager’s interpretation.  We just have to “roll with the punches!”

Some do they scan them if the register takes it they accept it but if they are more than a week old I don’t think the register take them.

Me too…I have $15 worth of expired RR’s.  My purse was taken at a grocery store on 8/31 and it was just found underneath their dumpster today….thank goodness only about $7 cash and debit card was taken which I reported immediately.  Coupons were there along with my RR’s but these expired 9/4….does anyone know if they’ll still take?  I’ve emailed their customer service with my sad but real story….. :(

I’ve given them expired RR’s before.  Some accept them, some don’t.  If they don’t accept, try asking for a manager.  If that doesn’t work.  Just go try a different store.  I’ve found they are all different.  Good Luck!

I printed the Centrum vitamin coupon, “$3 off Centrum Cardio or Performance”, however the expiration date printed as 5/25/11, meaning it expired 3 1/2 months BEFORE I printed it!

Okay I have a question…I went to WG to get the Tampons that were $3.99.  I have a $1 RR and a $2.00 off coupon which I thought should have made my item be .99.  When I got the register I was told I could not use 2 Manufacturer coupons!  WHAT!!!! What did I not understand when I went to the meeting?  I thought RR was a good thing and could be used like cash.  Please help me understand this process.  To add the lady was rude…huffing and puffing
