how does the rr work is it a coupon like at cvs?

      • Mary Hobbs

This one is a Catalina Coupon for $2 off your next purchase of anything at Walgreens with the normal exclusions of Prescriptions, Alcoholic Beverages etc.

    • Veronica Richards

Is there a limit to how many RR you can get?

      • ArtOfSophie

I did this 6 times total and got RR’s each time, but I don’t know if there is an exact limit.

    • Kristy

Do I still get the RR for this deal if I use a previous RR from something else?

      • Kelly

You’ll get the RR for this as long as the RR you are redeeming towards the toothpaste isn’t from Colgate already. And b/c WG treats RR like a manufacturer coupon, you’ll have to buy 2 items( 1 toothpaste and 1 filler item) if you plan on using the RR and the IP.

    • kcreviews

CVS has a similar deal this week.

      • ArtOfSophie

        really? on the Optic White?

        • kcreviews

Yes, several different kinds of Colgate were part of the ECB deal.

          • ArtOfSophie

I might take the rest of my q’s to CVS and try it then. Thanks.

            • kcreviews

Make sure you look at what the limit is. Sometimes it’s 2 or just 1 deal with the ECBs.

Are all stores supposed to give the RR?

    • Willie

My Walgreen’s said that the Optic White wasn’t included. Were they wrong?

      • ArtOfSophie

I have a friend in VA and she said her Walgreen’s didn’t have this deal either. It was supposed to be the Optic White 4.0 oz. My store didn’t have it advertised anywhere, I just took a box to the register and it rang up $3. On the shelf it said $4.39. You could try it again but sometimes certain stores don’t have the same deals as others for whatever reason, which I know is annoying.

    • Carrie Messer

The Optic White is not included in the RR deal. I tried and it rang up 3.99 and did not give RR. :(

    • vickisfloyd

Didn’t work at my Walgreen’s either.

I had such a hard time with this deal! It worked perfectly the first time, I used the only $1.50 off coupon I had and bought a filler item (a roll of Smile! toilet paper). Paid 77 cents and got my $2 RR.
I went back later with my $1 off q’s and my RR, planning to roll them and it was a mess! First, it wouldn’t take my MF q’s. Then it wouldn’t take the RR’s. Then it wouldn’t take either. After trying every way possible, I ended up paying $7 total for 5 Optic White’s and got back $6 RR. I was annoyed because I was hoping to not pay anything OOP. I thought the RR’s were rolling again but I never know what the policy is going to be at Wags, it seems to change every week. I had a patient cashier and it could have been worse, but I was reminded why I don’t coupon at Wags that often lol. Still, it wasn’t a bad week. I like Optic White and I haven’t seen it on sale till now, so I did save on it, plus the Almay deal at Wags was good this week. :)

My Walgreens always manually adjusts the price if this happens. One time I had a $4 RR and it wouldn’t scan the cashier just took off $1on 4 items I had.

        • ArtOfSophie

I wanted the manager to come help but she wouldn’t. she called the cashier over the phone and told her what to do, then when it didn’t work she was like “oh well”. The cashier was super nice and tried to make it work. I don’t know what the issue was.

It worked fine for me. I already had a $2 RR from last week, and had 4 $1.50 off coupons. I bought 1 @ $3 & 1 snickers candy bar @ $0.59. Use 1 $1.50 coupon then my RR and ended up paying $0.34. I repeated 3 more times and it worked fine. So I got 4 tubes of toothpaste & 4 snicker bars for $1.36.
