    • Thanks for listing the Feb rebate items! I can’t believe Feb is already here!

      http://afrugalfriend.blogspot.om

    • The Dove coupone (SS 1-18) is expired, at least in my version. Too bad.

    • Alli

The Thermacare coupon in All You says that it is for a 2 CT or larger pack. Will that still work? Thanks!

    • Jenny

Alli- It should work without a problem.

    • Wendy

Do you have to buy 2 of the B1G1 free items at Walgreens?

    • Lucy

I am new at this and I thank all of you for your input its nice to read them I will let you know how it is in Kentucky

    • Jenny

Wendy- I am actually unsure on that one, but Walgreens is the one store that if they advertise something at 4 for $5 then most of the time you have to 5… I would lean to think that with B1G1 items you do have to buy 2.
I just can’t remember from the last time I bought at B1G1 item.

    • joan

Yes, you do have to buy 2 to do B1G1. 1st one ring up full price, 2nd rings up 0.00

    • Michelle

Will Walgreens let you use two coupons (store & manf) on one item?

    • Jenny

Yes, as long as it is a store and manufacturer coupon you can “stack” them together on any product.

    • Beth

My Dove coupon (RP 11/2) expired on 1/25. :(

    • Michelle

Thanks Jenny – So Pop Tarts are 2/$3 with Walgreens store coupon, then I have a manf coupon $1 off 2 boxes – makes each box $1 when you buy two.

    • Karen

The Thermacare coupon is for 2 count. The rebate item is for 1 count trial size. (I went this morning). Even if it works, it’s not intended for that item. I think it’s coupon fraud to try to use it. Am I wrong?

    • Robin

hershey’s valentine chocolate is 1.89 with the in ad coupon. there’s a manf coupon in the 1/25ss for 2.00 off of 2 bags of hershey’s candies.

gotta feed the chocolate addiction!!! lol

    • Shannon

uggg I can’t get the J&J coupon for the bandaid with the med to print.. I’ve tried everything… Thanks for a great list!!

    • Elizabeth

The Thermacare q from “All You” didn’t work on the trial size. However, I had another q (can’t remember where I got it) that was $1 off that worked.

    • Wendy

I purchased the RightGuard Deodarant for $5.99 and used the $2.00 off coupon. But it wouldn’t let me pay for it with a $3.00 Register Reward since I used a coupon. Is that a rule I missed?

    • Wendy

One more quickie. The Revlon states it’s a Mail in Rebate. Do you have to mail this one in or can you do it online? I don’t want to mess with mailing it in.

    • Jenny

Wendy – Did you only purchase the Right Guard in one order? Because Register Rewards are technically manufacturer coupons you have to have more than one product to use a RR and another coupon together. Some have reported that if they use the RR first they don’t have a problem but that is not always the case.

The Revlon is part of the Monthly rebate deals. You can go to Walgreens.com and submit your Easy Saver rebates right there. There is nothing you need to mail!

    • I was not able to use the $3.00 Splenda coupon yesterday. Cashier said that it was because the coupon was for $3.00 and the item was $2.99. She wouldn’t lower the coupon value for me. On the same transaction, I bought the Dove Bars for $0.99 and used the $1.00 coupons for them with no problem. So maybe it’s because the Splenda coupon says Redemmable only at B.J’s Any ideas?

    • Jenny

The coupon will work just fine anywhere. I actually just called a coupon clearinghouse this morning about the BJ’s coupons and was told that any retailer can submit and get reimbursed.
Walgreens system is set that if a coupon is ever over the product value it will beep, if the cashier refuses to downgrade it you can ask the manager. Try to explain to them that they will get reimbursed at the full value for the coupon.
Walgreens is just difficult sometimes to me…

    • I had the same problem with my Register Reward coupons. I tried to use them last and the computer said that my item value was not more than the coupon or something like that. It did take the other $19.50 I had in other manufactured coupons (hee hee) so I couldn’t complain about the $2 RRs. The RR expired that day so I won’t be able to use them later, but I would like to know what went wrong so I can plan around this in the future. I tried to use them in buying multiple item on the same transation. I bought pert, zucol, theraflu, splenda, pull-ups and pampers easy-ups.

    • misti

My SS 1/18 doesnt have a $1/2 comet cleaners :( only a .35 off one spray cleaner

    • Hey couponers – I live in Alabama and am looking for someone who lives in another region who would be willing to “swap” coupons-I will mail the coupon inserts each week from our newspaper in exchange for your doing the same from yours-some coupons are regional and we arent getting them and I am assuming some coupons we get are not going out in other areas. Email me if interested!

    • I picked up $3 off any triaminic coupons at my pediatrician’s office this past week (I grabbed 8 or 9!!!)-and found listerine ones at my dentist-so keep an eye there.
The $3 Triaminic ones made the Easy Saver deal a money maker for me :)

I also got the .35 off comet spray-will that coupon work for the one that’s on sale?

      I find that often t

    • oops sorry my computer got goofy.

A few weeks back with the Pepsi RR deal the were out of the Pepsi One that I had printables for and I asked the manager if I could use the coupons for regular pepsi and he said as long as it went through without a beep it was fine with him-so we tried it and it worked with no problem-so maybe you could use the comet .35 spray coupon for the canister that’s on sale. I might try it tomorrow.

    • zombiemommy

Hey I did the buy Dayquil at 5.99 deal tonight. Note that it is the 20count is part of the deal (Spend 20 get 10 RR) and not the 12 count (the 12 count with Vitamin C is also 5.99).

They were out of the regular Dayquil but I found some Dayquil Sinus, so I did okay.

      Thanks!

    • PS here is the link for what I did. Thanks Jenny!

    • Vera

I tried to use the $2 Right Guard coupon from the box at Walgreens this week. Rather than subtracting it from my total IT ADDED it to my total. Luckily, the clerk and I caught it(and the store was not busy)and tried to correct it. She was unable to get it to subtract the value of the coupon. I called the company and they are sending me money for the value of my coupons, but they were unable to shed any light on the problem. If you used these coupons check your receipt!!!!

    • Amanda

With the Contour meter coupon, does it only take off the amt of the item or the amt of the coupon? And any ideas about what to do with a meter I don’t really need?

    • Victoria

I contacted Hospice in my area (Alabama) and they said glucometers are viewed as ‘aggressive treatment’ and so aren’t covered. Many of the persons they serve need them, so they have been thrilled to take the glucometers. I also gave one to a local women’s shelter. Hope this helps.

    • Jenny

The coupon for the meter will take off $30, but if the meter is less than that, they can enter a lower value for the coupon (aka downgrade it). I have never had a store take the coupon for more than the product – since it is usually $15 or more over the product value. They always end up entering it for the product price only.

Victoria those are great ideas! As a registered nurse, I would also recommend that anyone with young children (or really anyone) keep one just for safety measures. The meter comes with 10 strips so you are set if your kid ever acts very funny, is hard to wake up etc. We have our one, and give the rest away to the shelter.

    • Brittany

I don’t know how many stores or what areas are doing this but…

at my Walgreens last night, they were giving away $5 RR and $17.50 in coupons to anyone who made a $5 donation to the American Heart Association.
