    • Kristyn

i went and actually got three bars for free!!! i think coupons.com has a bogo on these!!

    • Erin

The IP is for boxed chocolates, not bar chocolates.

      • Bakersdz301

I have had coupons that gave exact descriptions (box, bar, etc) but it does not hurt to try and have the cashier scan them. I have been able to use some of them in the past when I did not purchase the exact. It is still for a product by this manufact.

        • Texasgrl318

But the store does not carry the boxes, so you are not using the coupon for the correct product. The store will not be reimbursed for these coupons, since they have to show inventory, if asked. That is why so many people who use coupons do not like walgreens, they find deals on blogs that may not work for them. Most non couponing customers think that the store is very friendly.

          • me

true and when they are linked on forums like this and not taken down when a mistake is realized it hurts all people who love to coupon within the rules and not use them incorrectly

            • Texasgrl318

Thank you. I work at Walgreens and coupon also, so I try to help customers whenever I can. She had the $3/2 coupon, and told me I HAD to look at the ounces. She got ill with me. This particular customer uses this site, as she had mentioned it to the customer behind her, who gave her an IP coupon for free coke. I did not accept that coupon. I am all for saving money, but please do it correctly. I was reading another blog, and there are several people who use coupons at Rite Aid and the manager actually picks them out of line and checks them out themselves.

        • me

doing this when you KNOW its not the correct item is coupon fraud

    • Sandy

Just tried to use this at Walgreens and they said it wasn't allowed because it was $3 off a box and they did not sell boxes of wonka chocolates there. Thanks anyway though.

      • staj0805

        Same for me

    • Mommysauls

      Worked for me :)

    • Nd

I noticed the coupons said 'box' and 'avaliable at Kmart, Kroger, or Target' can you use these at Walgreens?

      • Denielle C Podraza

it says “available at” not “must use”. It really depends on your walgreens. The manager took mine no problem, but it all depends!

    • Gina4ever0

Jenny, I went to Walgreens, and tried to use these coupons. These coupons are for the box only. However, you can still use the instore coupon.
Just thought I'd give you a heads up on that.

      • ym

you might try buying just the scrumdiddyumptious bars that are 3.5 oz to use the $3 coupon. It worked for me!

    • It worked VERY well for me ! I did 3 different transactions got 6 free bars !

    • momof2

Worked for me…. I bought four in 1 transaction and they were all free!

    • Robin

I just got a B1G1 coupon for these too! I used the link above and went through the pages of coupons and there it was! Anyone else find this?

      • Kristan

        Yes, I did :)

    • $avin'some$

i got 4 free tonight! the coupon beeped but cashier took it. i didn't even read it so i had no clue why it beeped ( i was thinking maybe they needed to adjust it down a penny or something), but now i know why.

    • Denielle C Podraza

MINE WORKED YAY!! but silly me bought 4 not two. I even had a second $3/2 but wasnt thinking! still a great deal at .50 a piece!

    • couponmama

Worked fine for me. I did make sure to get the correct size/flavor, only beeped on the B1G1 for cashier to enter the amount. With three coupons, plus store coupon, made them free!

      • Denielle C Podraza

how do you use three coupons? they will never let me do it? If i have two b1g1 can i use them and the $1/2 for four bars and have a money maker??

    • jrun

on target's site they have $1 off coupons for the 3.5 oz. bar. it's a manufacturer's coupon and doesn't say anything about target on it for walgreen's to give you trouble over;)

    • * Competitor coupons are not accepted at Walgreens so we can't use the target coupon on this deal :(

      • jrun

it's not a target coupon, just printable from the target site.

    • Ally B

Will walgreens let you use a walgreens coupon and a MNF coupon? My walgreens is pretty strict so i would use the coupons to get them at $.50 which is still a great deal but the only way i can do that is to use 2 q's

      • couponmama

Yes, you can have one man. Q per item, as well as your store coupons. Just be sure your total number of man. Qs isn't more than your total number of items.

    • What order should you give the coupons? Can you do this all in one transaction (will the Walgreen's Q take multiple discounts)?

      ex: I have 4 $3/2 and 4 $1/1 and 1 Walgreen Q can I get 12 bars in one transaction for $2.00 + tax?

      • Mlsshartz

You might have a problem with the (4) $3/2 attaching to both of the items and then not being able to use the (4) $1/1. There is a B1G1 Q on coupons.com . I did this yesterday. (2) B1G1 q (2) $1/1 and (2) Store Q's. You can print that store q off of Walgreens site, you don't need the booklet. You need to give them in that order as well. RR's first, B1G1 second, regular q's next, and store q's last. I'm pretty sure you will need more then one store q…it's not an in-ad q. hope that helps

        • I only used the store Q from the December Booklet and it took off $6…

      • Yes.. the above scenario worked at Walgreens… 12 Bars for $2 … gave them MFQ's (-3,-3,-3,-3,-1,-1,-1,-1) first then the Store Q (-6) ….

    • Savemoney08

I just got home from my walgreens store. I got 6 for $1.98. Thank you so much!

    • Sbigham3

What truly is the correct order for presenting coupons at Walgreens? I've been hearing 2 versions (some say present RR's first and some say present them last). Help!

      • Texasgrl318

Do not give RR first. try mfg coupons first, then store coupons, and then RR

        • Sbigham3

I think Jenny says present RR's last.

          • Sbigham3

Nope. She actually says present RRs FIRST. I'm confused.

      • couponmama

I had a couple RRs that wouldn't scan the other day, so the manager came over to take care of it. After realizing my MQ's had been scanned first, he voided the transaction, re-rang it, putting my RRs through first. Then my MQ's went through fine, no beeps. He said always do RRs first.

        • couponmama

Though of course, be sure your subtotal will be large enough to still use your MQ's…takes a little extra planning.

    • Texasgrl318

Jenny please take the link for the $3/2 Wonka Exceptionals off of your list. Walgeens does not sell these, and it makes those who coupon upset if they can't use them.

      • momsewsx4

they worked for me in powell, tn used coupon from store and $3.00 off 2 to make them free

        • Anniegail03

          Worked for me too! :)

        • me

just because it works does not make it right, it is not proper nor allowed to use a coupon on an item when it is not listed for that use

          • momsewsx4

the coupon say what it is for, and she scaned it and it worked, i got the waterfall listed, it says boxed but this candy is not sold in boxes anywhere I bought 2 last week at krogers before sale, and they worked there too.

    • Candiceburnham

$3/2 didn't work for Walgreens today and was SUPER embarassing!!! Might want to take that one down!!

      • egghead

So true – I too was SUPER embarassed yesterday. The Raleigh Wags I go to during the day has the worst cashier ever (as my daughter would say). I purchased 6 bars and had several coupons from coupons dot com some for $3 and some for $1 – first she said she could take them because the coupon reads except chocolate bar — so I corrected her to tell her that is the name of the product “Wonka Exceptionals” — so then when the register wouldn't accept them, she read the coupon again and said — well it won't work any way because they are not in a box???? So I paid $ 9 + just for six… No problem… just printed the $1 off Manufacturer's coupon – Chocolate BAR – from the Target site and I'm going back after lunch today to see this same cashier so she can process my refund and re-ring it up again. I left the chocolate in the car last night so it would not melt! LOL….Oh well…

        • kaseyshadow

It really is our job to read the fine print. Jenny just matches all possible coupons. She does this for free for us. THANKS JENNY! It's my responiblity to make sure my coupons match what I buy.

    • AJ

The $3/2 is for the box of chocolate that Walgreens doesn't even sell. I didn't get them because even though they are on sale I didn't want to pay for them :)

    • Erindurkee

I guess all Walgreens are different because mine in Greenville, SC sells the bars and I got 2 for free today thanks to the $3/2 coupon! Thanks, Jenny! ;)

    • Ginaod2000

Hi all! I wanted to let you know, the coupon is good! You have to read the wording. Walgreens sales 3 different types of this chocolate & 1 of the kinds is not listed on the coupon. Therefore you can't buy that one. You have to buy the other two brands. I can't remember which they are because I already used my coupons. Just read them & buy only the mentioned kinds. I went & used 2-B1G1, 2-$1/1, 2-$2/2 & 2-$3/2 with no problems. I bought 14 chocolate bars for $5.00 & I also had 1.50 Wags Cash so total was $3.50….Thanks so much Jenny!!!

      • me

The 3/2 linked here is not for the item in the ad, it clearly says bags and the Walgreens ad says bars. This should be removed as it is not for the advertisied item.

        • momewsx4

save $3.00 off 2 it says3.5 or 4oz and then gives varieties I bought 6 bars used 3 coupons and the coupon that is at wagreens and these were free

          • me

it says box not bar read it

    • Ginaod2000

Oh Yeah I also used the coupon in the Walgreens Coupon book. Don;t forget about that one or your total OOP will be larger…Merry Christmas!!!

P.S. I did not buy all the Wonka Chocolate's They had lots in stock. Plus I shopped two Walgreens. I promise I'm not greedy :0)

    • Sandybishop

okay how do you do it? New to couponing. Walgreens would not accept both coupons. How do you get them for FREE? Which coupon combinations?

      • momsewsx4

you use coupon in walgreens for $1.00 off 2 and then you print coupon for $3.00 off 2 from internet, you can stack these 1 is a walgreens and 1 is a internet coupon(manufactor). But remember how many ever coupons you use, you have to have that many items, so if i have 10 coupons, I have to have 10 items

    • ELizabeth

Just ran by Walgreens in Kissimmee Florida…..Would not take the “printed” coupons she says they no longer take any printed coupons….Soooooo I took my “printed” coupons across the street to CVS and bought three Bars with OOP .42 cents…….Thank you to CVS for taking these wicked printed coupons……..I guess Walgreens hasnt figured out that many many co are going to online coupons. Oh well, always liked CVS better.
