Here are the deals that start Sunday at Walgreens. I am really excited about the peanut butter and spaghetti sauce deal. This by far beats the grocery sale price, so stock up if you are able. Scroll down for a few scenario ideas.

This is more than I normally spend in Walgreens, but to work in the diapers it makes it a good overall savings.

The create list isn’t working on this. Just wanted to let you know. I printed BiLo and Publix fine. Not sure what is up.
I didn’t have to click on the little printer icon to bring up the clickable grocery list, it just came up automatically from the Walgreen’s post. Maybe that is relevant?
      Thanks for all you do.

      • This is the first time I have had problems also with the shopping list. I had many items selected, but it only generated a few of the items rather than including items from all categories (month long deals, RR deals, and other deals).

        • Jenny

          Sorry guys,

It’s all fixed now. There is a lot of code that goes into making it work right and I forgot to test this list before I headed to bed.

          • Thanks Jenny! You are still the best!

    • Debra

I want to do the deal with the 4 ragu spaghetti sauce and the 4 skippy peanut butter but I only have 5 coupons instead of the 8, can I use more than 2 exta care bucks? Any help is appreciated.

      • Honey

You have to use extra care bucks at CVS. I think you were meaning register rewards.

    • Crystal

My Walgreens said that the “month long deals” that you have listed were only for that one week. Are they supposed to be month long for all stores?

      • Stephanie

All signage was removed for the month long deals at my Walgreens. However, the RRs still printed for all of the month long items.

        • Tracie

Is the ThermaFlu a month long deal?

          • Jenny

It is a month long RR, but the price has gone up from a few weeks ago. (I think)

            • Liz

How do you find the month-long deals? They told me the Colgate 123 was not anymore so I didn’t get the RR and was too frustrated to return it then. Would like the RR if I can take them proof. Dentek wasnt printing one either but they price adjusted for it.

      • Liz

My Walgreens had signage removed as well and I didn’t get RR on Oral B, Trident or Dentek floss picks (which actually had the signage). The manager did price adjust the floss picks and Trident but by the time I got to the Oral B I said forget it. Let me out of here. They said corporate was cracking down on them & “technically” I wasn’t supposed to be able to do multiple transactions at 1 time.

        • Marianne Brown

The RR didn’t print for me either on the Oral B toothbrush (that’s the only thing I tried). Where do you find the monthly deals? Are they printed somewhere in the store, on a flyer? Thanks.

        • Beth

Dentek didn’t print for me either and my store wouldn’t give me the RR.

        • Mary

last weekend my RR did not print either, manager says they do not print anymore if you have a mfg coupoun for the item. I was all over the Walgreens game, even had my son purchasing too. Jacksonville FL

          • Misty

Just a thought, shouldn’t it be in the fine print somewhere that RR will not print if a coupon is used for purchase? Otherwise, it seems the store is misrepresenting this program. I believe Walgreens corporate is smarter than that and would not open themselves up to this sort of litigation. Perhaps, we should push the manager harder when this response is given. I have not personally had this problem, but it appears many have. If this excuse is given to me, I will insist the manager call the corporate office or show me the fine print for clarification.

          • Michelle

I am just wondering which Walgreens in Jacksonville FL you were at? I haven’t had any problems here in Jacksonville yet. I shop at the Walgreens on Airport Center Drive.

      • Jennifer

I was nervous about trying a monthly RR deal because the signage was gone, but I tried today on the Vaseline lotion and the RR printed, no problem. Knowing Walgreens, this probably varies from store to store. I would maybe recommend just trying one item to see if the RR prints – worst case scenario, it doesn’t print and you just return the item.

        Hope this helps!

        • My store I visited near my new home (YEAH – We close on December 7th) had signage for most of the items. However, the Oral B toothbrush was returned since the manager said it was last week and the RR did not print. The Emergen-C and the Robotussin to-go did print RR for me.

      • Crystal

Thanks everyone…I’ll try it in the morning. I love this site!!!

    • Stephanie

In the scenarios, I am not understanding why the Hydrogen Peroxide fillers (.29) are necessary? Can someone explain?

      • I agree – I don’t think you need the peroxide as fillers; good price if you just need them for your household!

      • becca

at walgreens you can only use one coupon per item. and the register rewards are a coupon. hope that makes sense. :)

        • Stephanie

          Yes! Thank you so much!

        • michelle

I’m new at this and my Walgreen’s insert states RR to be used on NEXT visit….can I do all 4 scenarios at one visit or do I need to go to different Walgreens locations or different dates?

      • Jenny

As fillers, you will need how ever many I have listed. For me, I really just meant that it was something we could use rather than a halloween cup or candy. I would rather my extra little bit be for useful stuff.

        • Steve

In your deal #3 you would not need the 2 fillers, as you are buying 8 items, using 6 mfg. coupons plus 2 RR (which are also mfg. coupons). Their rule is that you can’t use more mfg. coupons than you have items, thus 8 items and 8 mfg. coupons = no fillers.

          • LD

I think since some of the coupons are off 2 they may attach to 2 items and not 1 . so you very well may need the 2 fillers so you can use the 2 RR’s .

            • Steve

It didn’t happen this week to me when I purchased 4 cans of tomato soup with a 40cents off 4 cans. I was able to use 3 RR along with the one mfg. coupon.

          • Jenny P

This might vary by store. When I did the ragu/skippy deal, my store wouldn’t take the RRs without the filler items because the register recognized that the coupons were tied to more than one item.

            • LD

              Thanks jenny
I was wondering if the ragu was attached to both or not . It would have been easier if not 2 . lol but I will get extra pencils so when I send grand kids there package this holiday they will have plenty of pencils for school. And remembering how that goes they will only last 2 weeks !

        • lynn

Jenny i agree i always try to get house hold need as my filler item sometimes the clearance stuff works out good also thank you again for all your hard work putting together these deals my freezer and cabinets are all stocked

    • becca

does anybody know if walgreens accepts competitor coupons? cuz there is a really nice coupon at target for skippy.

      • Crystal

My Walgreens (North Jax, FL), said no.

        • becca

          okay thank you :)

    • mandie

Hey gals, is the Skippy a good deal without the Q’s? My inserts do not have the Q’s and I need peanut butter. TIA

      • Kim

You must be in AJC land! I did not have any q’s either for skippy or ragu. Bummer. I think it is still a good deal witout the q’s. 8 x 1.66=13.28 + tax – the 8 RR you get back = 5.28 divided by 8 skippys = .66 each not bad! I have 2 3$ RRs leftover and 2 1$ RRs so I will use those to bring down my oop!

    • Rachel

I’m looking at the Kleenex deal in the full ad scan. It says a limit of 4. Does that mean 4 boxes or tissues or does that mean I can do the B1G1 deal 4 times getting 8 boxes of tissues?

      • Beth

It means limit of 4 boxes of tissues.

    • May

Is oral B toothbrush the Monthly RR for sure?
I saw regular price tag for that item yesterday.

      • The Oral B rang up for me today at $3.89 and no RR. I ended up returning it since it did not print and no advertisement to prove it was a month-long special.

        • michelle

Same here, toothbrush rang up full price with no register reward.

    • Sarah

For the Huggies diaper deal, the $1 q from the wags children’s activity book can be used with the $2 off printable q’s, making the diapers $4 a pack after RR.

    • Kristen

Will you be able to do the band-aid deal? Haven’t seen the paper yet, but the coupons from the Activity book say “Not valid with any other offer.” Can you combine the coupon in the circular with the coupons from the Activity book?

    • Crystal

I went to Walgreens the other day and bought two Hershey dark chocolate bars for .62 each. I had two coupons for a $1.00 off of one.(I had other things that the overage would have went to.) The cashier only let me use one coupon. She said they called what I was trying to do “double couponing”. She was really nice, so I don’t think she was just trying to keep me from getting a deal.
So can I only buy one of each item that I have coupons for?

      • Becky

You can use 1 Manufacturer coupon per item. There is a misconception that the “one item per purchase” seen on all manf. q’s means you can only use 1 q for several. What it actually means is you can not use more than 1 q for that specific item.

In other words, if you had only bought 1 Hershey candy and used 2 manf. q, that would be fraud. Since you had 2 items and 2 coupons, you were fine.

A lot of cashiers and even managers still don’t understand this. A little frustrating at times. The best solution I have found is to either contact WAGs and let them know which store is not taking coupons correctly (and hopefully fix the problem) OR just figure out which cashiers/managers know the rules and buy when they are on duty.

        • Hsv mom

Most coupons say “One coupon per purchase”. That means one coupon per item purchased, not per total purchase. I have run into this too, but the manager quickly clarified it for the cashier.

    • LD

Now on the Starbucks Frapacino’s I just bought one at our Walgreen’s on Thur. and the regular price was a $1.69 so not sure how at $2 each is a sale for them . It would be better to wait for them to go off sale and buy at regular price . LOL Maybe this is a case of our area will have a different sale price in our flyers . Our area is not usually lower than most.

      • beth

Starting 10/18 the smaller ones are on sale w/ in-ad coupon for $1.29.`

        • LD

Oh good ! so it will be a great deal then ! Once a month or so I pop for one of these as my treat . Now I can use my $2 free spending money on something else this month LOL and get extra drinks !

    • Amy

My Walgreens says I can’t use RR to get RR even though they are for different items. Do some stores have different policies? Or should I go back and demand my RR? lol

      • Becky

Here’s some #’s you can call (got it off their website). I will be calling asking them to mail me their RR policy because it really is frustrating to get mixed answers. If I have it in writing I would think they can’t argue with that…

My favorite cashier(Ballentine, SC) told me if the items were manufactured by the same company and you used a RR that the new RR wouldn’t print. She has told me not to use some RR’s on things that I was going to use them on for that reason. She’s very helpful. I love it when I go in and see her there.

            • Becky

Very true. I guess I have been doing this for awhile that I know that “rule”. Jenny has all the “rules” for WAGs on her “getting started guide” link at the very top. However, some stores change the rules, but I have an inkling that it’s not coming from coorporate. Thanks Sally for the clarification.

      • kim

You are not alone in this. My walgreens does the same thing. I can only get an RR if I pay cash for the item.

        • Susan

I had a cashier tell me that. (I was doing 3 deals) I asked her to please try and scan the RR’s, just to see, she did and they worked and I received my RR’s(paid with RR’s and received new RR’s). I do not think they train the cashiers as well as they should.

          • Sally

No, What I was trying to say is that I have had no problem paying with an RR, using a coupon or whatever and still getting my RR’s on the new purchase. Only sometimes this cashier will tell me don’t use a certain RR on this item because they are manufactured by the same company and the new RR will not print. She told me it’s not only using the RR for the same item but also if it is manufactured by the same company. She’s very helpful. Wish she would be there everytime I go. I have found Walgreens and Rite Aid helpful – a lot more so than CVS.

            • Tammy

You can use RRs from the same manuf to purchase a different item from the same company (and get your new RR) if the values are different.
ie: used the MVP razor RR to buy Vaseline and vice-versa b/c one RR was for $6 and the other for $7. Mileage may vary, but they generally print.

    • Carolin

I was so excited to get the Oral B toothbrushes for free. I’m glad that I checked this site before I went to Walgreens. Has anyone tried the Bandaid deal. I’m wondering how that is going to work since both coupons are Walgreen coupons.

      • Susan

It worked for me. When paying, I handed the RR’s first, the Coloring book Q for $2.00 second, my MQ’s, then the in ad Q, it was the last thing I gave her before paying. No problem.

      • Kristen

The bandaid deal worked for me too. AND the great news is the Activity book coupon worked once for all three boxes of bandaids!

Bought 3 boxes of character bandaids
        Used 1 $1.99 coupon from circular…deducted $6 from total.
Used 1 $2 off coupon from activity book….deducted $6 from total.

Made all three boxes free before tax. woo hoo!

      • Kristen

Just wanted to report that you do need to put a filler item with the bandaids if you’re planning on purcashing 3 and using one circular coupon and one activity book coupon. Normally, you’re okay as long as the number of items exceeds coupons, but not the case here.

I got 3 boxes of bandaids and a 15 cent filler for 13 cents oop.

Repeated this deal 4 times and now have lots of bandaids for my son and to donate.

        • Ann

Where are these activity books that everyone is referring to? Thanks.

    • AngelaDH

The Ooltewah Walgreens tried to tell me that there wouldn’t be a $1 RR on the Trident Gum. I tried it anyway and it did print! They were on sale for $2/2 and then after a $1 RR and (2) .75/1 coupons I made $.50! :) I’m not impressed with Walgreens lack of signs. :(

      • Jennifer

I tried to get the Trident RR in Cleveland, TN. It didn’t print out and the gum was “on sale” for $1.29. How disappointing!

    • Janey

Just a heads up. I spoke with the manager at the Lexington walgreens and he said that the RR deals are weekly not monthly many if not all of the monthly RR deals posted here are from previos weeks and will not be honored not sure about other locations it may just be this one.

      • Susan

I got the Halls for $1.00 and Chap Stick for $2.99, got back 1, 3 RR’s. They were on sale at my Wags.

      • Heather

Janey try the one in 3-fountains. I was able to get the razor, halls & lotion. All printed the RR’s for me w/ no hassle. I try not to go to the one in Lexington anymore b/c one of the cashiers is very rude. There is a manager there, female w/ strawberry blonde hair, that loves it when I come in there. She wants to ring me up so she knows what to look for later for herself!

    • Debra

I had a good day at Walgreens today, all of these items were on sale so that was extra savings as well.

      Here is what I purchased:

6 Jars of Ragu Spaghetti Sauce
      2 Jars of Skippy PeanutButter
      1 Bottle of Peroxide
1 Kids Halloween Temporary Tattoo Books

After using coupons and register rewards I ended up paying OOP $5.91 and I got back $8.00 RR for purchasing the deal of 8 Unilever products. Now I can share this blessing with my mom and dad.

Thanks again Jenny for all your hard work.

    • Jana

Does anyone know of any coupons for the soft soap which is 99 cents with in ad coupon?

      • meg

Would like to know as well.

    • Scott

I had a great trip to Walgreens today! I used the last of my RRs so I never have to step foot in the place again! Only CVS and Rite Aid for me from now on!

      • Tammy

Just the opposite for me. Used up my ECBs and won’t even consider the ads for CVS. Hate that store! Glad it works for you :o)

    • Joni

I hate Walgreens and I don’t ever plan on going again. They NEVER have any of the good deals. I went to get the Ragu deal today during the afternoon and there were no more left. Why would Walgreens promote such a sale and not have the stock to back it up? It would be one thing to have a limit of one but the ad wants you to buy 8!! Now it doesn’t help if the store only has enough stock for one person to get the deal!!! None of the other deals where there either, lotion, chapstick, Halls, or the toothbrush. The only thing I was able to get was the razor with the $6 RR.

The revlon foundation was buy one get one 50% off. At my Walgreens it was 13.99 for the first one and the second one rang up at 8 something (which is not even 50% off) I ended up returning it! Not a very good deal. I was very disappointed!!!!

      • missy

I know what you mean, Joni! At our Wags there is a cashier who, on her day off, brings her whole family in and she buys everything off the shelf. So… when the rest of us come in to buy one of the item that is going to make us money or is a good deal we have NOTHING left to choose from. The other wags workers cannot stand her but they can’t say anything to her because what she does is legal! I live in Tifton and there is only one Wags to choose from. I guess I will be traveling-if it is even worth it!!!! I have tried Wags 5 times and each time was NOT a good experience. I am giving it one more chance today.

        • missy

Did my Wags shopping today and of course all the monthly deal items were gone. I did talk with the manager and he was very nice. He is very frustrated with the whole RR situation. I told him that if Wags was to do away with the RR then they would loose so much biz. He has now put a limit per family on the items and I think that this will help with the problem (I guess). FYI all the register rewards printed for me so I had no issue in that department.

        • Hi Missy,

What this woman is doing may be legal, but there’s a chance it may be prohibited under Walgreens’ terms of employment. I’m guessing the home office would frown on this if they were to be made aware of it.

      • Heidi

I get very frustrated at Walgreens! I stopped shopping there for a long time, but have recently started again and I am beginning to regret that decision! They are so inconsitient and rarely have the items in stock and their signage is always messed up!

        • TL

Walgreens does not have a stockroom so, once their shelves are empty they stay that way until their truck comes. Ask your store manager what day shipment comes in then, try to go that night for the items with a RR.

    • janice

I just realized that one of my register rewards expired today. Has anyone tried to use a expired RR ( only 1 day) and they except it? I hope so!!!!! Sometimes it is so hard to remember to use them all and rebates!! My brain can’t remember all this stuff!

      • Jody

I had some that expired yesterday as well and when I got to the checkout line this morning, I was very polite and asked the cashier if there was any way she could accept them. She said “We will try” and the system scanned them with no problem. I am glad because it was $9.50 worth of register rewards. I ended up with 6 jars of Ragu and 2 jars of Skippy….after RR and coupons, it was 81 cents out of pocket and I got another $8 RR back!

    • Margie

Today was one of those days that I had to weigh the value of my time and frustration with the value of my money. Walgreens on Devine – no razors, no gum, no Halls refreshers. Walgreens on Beltline – no Halls refreshers, no razors, chapstick.

I understand being out of things, but to be out of so many items on the day an advertisement is printed is beyond frustration. Plus, the RR system isn’t something that is worth the rainchecks.

I think I’m done with Walgreens unless it’s some easy breezy diaper deal. Bummer.

      • Amy

Last week, I told myself it was the last Walgreens trip because of too many frustrations. However, I was too tempted with this weeks deals. I went last night and spent a lot of time gathering my items. I got the checkout and they said the RR machine wasn’t working. They could give me a rebate form to mail in but it was only good on the weekly and not monthly items. I told her there should be a sign posted on the front door so I would see it before wasting my time shopping….not on the checkout counter. I left everything and went home…an hour wasted. I have the flu, too, so that just added to how bad the experience was.

    • Karen

Did anyone have trouble printing the Campbell’s soup coupon? I tried several times and it never would print, have never printed it before.

Also, I am confused………can you NOT use manufacturer’s coupons with the items that have RR?

      • Beth

Yes you can use manf. coupons with items that have RR.

    • Jennifer C.

I used a register reward that was a week old one time and it worked.

    • Cindi

I would like to get the Mucinex that is on sale at WAGS and use the $1.00 of mfg coup. I have $12.00 in RR. How can I purchase this and use my RR?

      • lynn

this is where Jenny tells everyone to get a small filler item so you have equel number of items as coupons rr are manf coupons so find something for real cheap i like to check the clearance section … but a candy bar a pencil will work

        • Cindi

I also seen where WAGS has a $3.00 off Mucinex and then there is a mfg coup in the paper this Sunday for $1.00. Mucinez is on sale for $18.99. Since this is on sale and i have the two coups, can I still use my RR? I can use the peroxide as a filler correct?

          • Tammy

My rule of thumb- one item for every ‘piece of paper’ (RRs first, manuf second) you are handing over at the register. Wags Qs don’t count towards the total, just give them last.

    • Alyssa

Has anyone had trouble using multiple coupons at Walgreens before? I went in on Saturday to purchase several items. I purchased the following using the coupons listed.

1 playtex sport tampons (1 manu. coupon)
1 Playtax glide tampons (1 manu. coupon)
2 Trident Gum packs (1 manu. coupon)
      1 Visine (1 manu. coupon & 1 store coupon)
      1 Chapstick
      1 notepad
      2 Lays stax
      1 zyrtec (1 manu. coupon & 1 store coupon)

Then, I had $19.5 worth of 6 RRs from the previous week. The register took all of my coupons except for 1 $2 RR. The cashier explained that I used too many coupons, that there was a limit on how many coupons you can use in a transaction. I didn’t argue and just said, that was fine, I’d use it another time. But then the register did not print my chapstick, tampons, or gum RR’s. It turns out that the printer for RR’s was not working properly and I was able to get that problem fixed, but when they redid my order it still would not take that last $2 off RR coupon. The manager told me that there is a limit, one coupon per # of items you purchase. But I only purchased 10 items and it took 12 coupons. Can anyone help me figure out Walgreens rules? Otherwise, I’ll probably just stop going there– that was so frustrating! I hate when I run into couponing snags!

      • Becky

Have you read Jenny’s “Getting started guide” link at the very top? She explains the Walgreens system. But yes, let’s say I have 5 items and 7 coupons (2 of the 7 being RRs), it will only take 5 coupons. That’s why Jenny mentions “fillers”. So, if I get two more filler items, I can now use all 7 coupons (the RRs count as a coupon). Obviously the other coupons have to match the item.

The other trick is if you use a RR that was from P&G and you are buying an item that is also P&G that gives you RRs, the RR will not print. In essence, they cancel each other out.

Does that make sense? Once you understand it all, it is easier and you get the hang of it. Although, I have to admit, CVS is better in this area. The only draw back is the limit amount on the CVS card. Oh well!

        • Alyssa

Yes, Becky, I did read Jenny’s Guide to Walgreens. But unless I’m totally missing something I did not read anything about the number of coupons you’re able to use being limited to the number of items you purchase. Thanks for the info about the store coupons, it makes sense now.

          • Hsv mom

Also keep in mind that if you have a manufacturer coupon that states “off two” like .60/2, it will attach to both items being purchased with it and count as 2 coupons.

      • Becky

Forgot to mention: Store coupons don’t count towards the total of coupons because they are not manf. coupons. So you can “stack” a store one with a manf. q.

    • JD

$14.97 for a ton of stuff at Walgreens = great week for me!

However… I am so sick of every person at every store telling me something different about coupons, RR, broken catalina machines, NEVER having the RR products, attitudes about multiple transactions ect. Suggestions anyone?

    • Amy

Went to wags today, they had a sign up for the trident gum. It said valid until 10/31/09 so I bought 2, used the 2 q’s and got the $1 RR back. woohoo. Hope yours is the same!

    • AJ

I had a good shopping trip at Walgreens.

This morning I went to buy the Ragu. So I bought 8 jars of Ragu, and the Halls, I used 4 Raqu Q, and 1 Halls Q. My total was just over $11. When I tried use my RR to pay, the register wouldn’t accept it.I didn’t realize at the time that the Ragu coupons probably counted as 2 since it was save 60 cents off two. Netiher did the cashier because he said ” well the comp won’t take it if your RR is more than your purchase.” I just looked at him with this blank stare I do (because I was trying to use a $2 RR and my total was $11…..) Anyway, I just sucked it up and paid it.
My @ RR was going to expire today, so I just went back to get the $2 Dentek Floss, which gave me back the $ 2 RR anyway (paid only 18 cents in tax)!
Point of the story, have patience, work around these tiny hurdles, and thank the Lord for giving me these blessings.

    • Tom

Tried something new today and I really worked to my benefit – I printed out the Walgreens shopping list from your site and took it into the store. Was cherry picking 5 RR deals only. They finally got the Oral B 123 toothbrush in stock (had a .75C off coupon) so the buy one for $3 and get a $3 RR back is a moneymaker. Chapstick $3 with $3 back is a freebee. Dental floss (had a $1 off coupon) so buy one @ $2 and get $2 back is a moneymaker. The Halls also a freebee. The Fusion power razer at $9 (had a $5 off coupon) so a $6 RR pays me $2. Picked up a prescription and paid for it all at the pharmacy counter.

Then the games began. Toothbrush came up at $3.89. Showed them the printed list and the $3 price. Got to meet the manager who did a price adjustment which failed to work so he just gave it to me at zero cost but no RR. That was Ok with me as I figured I saved the .21c tax. He left and the clerk finished ringing up the order. However none of the other 4 RRs printed – $12 worth. Got to see my new friend, the manager again. The machine wouldn’t print the RRs for him either – even after he rebooted the machine and tried it twice. I was nice and he was frustrated. But he used the print out to verify the correct prices – must have figured if came from walgreens. lol. Well, eventually the manager gave me a $12.84 credit on my purchase to cover the missing RR’s. So, I got all my stuff (regular retail about $25) for less than $4 out of pocket and still have my .75c toothbrush coupon. Somewhere along the line he printed out an extra $3 Walgteens Dollars coupon (good on a $15 purchase). So, net net my oop will actually be about $1.

      All the best –

    • Shelbi Goble

Smartsource has Trident coupons 2/$1 off. This is good if you are out of the $.75 coupons.

    • Jennifer G

This was my first time using the register rewards at Walgreens and I’ve got a question. I bought Citrucell, used a coupon this week and earned $3 RR. I went back the next day and bought it again and used my $3 that I earned the last sale, used my coupon and bought a filler item but did not earn $3RR for the 2nd transaction. They said if I use my RR to pay for an item I will not earn RR on that items. Is this correct? I talked to the manager and that’s what he said and he also said it’s written on the RR.

I’m so used to CVS and love it so I can’t say I like this system at all. Please help I feel like I just lost $3.

      • Jenny

They told me you can’t use a rr that you got from a product to buy the same product. That’s why it’s better to do a couple transactions and get a different rr in between to use on the product you actually want.

    • Randy Gibson

dont miss out on the accucheck aviva system even if you don’t need it you make 10.00!! Then give the meter away!

    • Jamie

I am new to Walgreens deal shopping, am I correct:

      Buy 2 @ $2.00 Trident gum get $1 RR
      Use (2) .75/1

      Total due: .50
Get back $1 RR (making me .50)

      Next:
B1G1 Campbells cooking soups @1.59 (with in store q -limit 4)
      Buy2 get 2 @ $3.18
      Use (2) $1/2
      Use $1 RR
      Total Due:.18

Will I need a filler for the 2nd transaction? I would look at it and say no and I am only using 2 q’s and 1 RR, but I thought I read a post that if the q is ex:$1 off 2, this would be concidered 2 q’s? I am trying to start out with smaller transactions to lesson my confusion (hahaha), but seriously, the amount of time I have spent on 2 packs of gum, and 4 soups…LOL!!!!

      • LD

Yes I would add a filler in that second purchase. Not sure if the campbells coupon attaches to 2 items or 1. I have been using the .09 pens on clearance have tons now lol.. and starting off that way is good. I spend tons of time for just a few things but then I think if that stuff would have cost me $10 then and I spent an hr on it then better pay than 0 [if I didnt spend the time] But you will get a bit better as you go along , me on the other hand age has caught up . lol

    • RM

Randy, whats the deal with the accucheck metor? Is there a rebate? Thanks

    • RM

Don’t forget to check out wags clearance items for your filler items they have some pretty neat useful things at a very low price.

    • Ashley

On the Publix List there is a coupon for $3 off of 5 Quaker products, it says Bi-Lo in the corner but across the top it says manufacturer’s coupon. Does this mean I can use it at Walgreens?

      Thanks for the help :)

    • I’m new to the couponing. I wanted to get in on the skippy peanut butter deal at walgreens but do not know where to get the Q for skippy?!

    • Jenna

Walgreen’s in our area say if you use any coupon on purchase you do not get the RR. Outside my area (Knoxville) the Walgreen’s said if you use a RR on your purchase you can not get a new RR. If this is Walgreen’s new policies then I for one will stop shopping at Walgreen’s as the only reason I have shopped at Walgreen’s for years is the coupon deals.

    • Gail

I went to Walgreens with full intent on getting RR back. But the items I wanted had sold out and the truck was coming in today. No Ragu, No Ban deodorant…. but I did get Maxwell House 4.89 B1G1 free. I got 4 coffees and had 2 $1.00 off coupons equalling $7.78. Also got a gallon of milk for $2.69 and the Halls Refresh for $.50. I had $6.00 in RR and paid $5.92 in cash for everything. The cashier had her mouth hanging open.. I just smiled and left.

    • Racheal

Tonight I bought Lady Speed stick for $1.00 with my $0.75 coupon. Had 8 coupons so $2.00 for 8 sticks with my $1.00 RR. It printed a coupon for 2 for 2 lady speed stick so I went and picked up 2 more for free! If you have the $4.00 Glade Frangrance coupons you can get the small candles for $0.29 each. YEAH!

    • Heather

I gave up long ago trying to roll RRs or even use them at all in Walgreens. Remember they are MQs and will scan on any register at any store. That being said, most stores will see the red “W” and not understand that they are MQs (even if they read on it that it is) and it won’t be worth the hassle. But if you shop at a grocery store that accepts competitor Qs, use them there to come off of your bottom line. I go to Wags, get what I want, pay cash, then take the RRs to Publix. My Publix takes Wags Qs because there is a Wags in the same parking lot- sometimes they try to enter them as competitor Qs, but I just tell them to scan them because they’re MQs and it works like a charm every time. I’m in metro ATL. Even if your Publix doesn’t take accept Wags as a competitor, I’m sure that if you showed a manager where it says “Manufacturer Coupon” across the top, only suggests you use it at Wagreens, and shows the address directing the retailer (not Wags, retailer) to send it in for reimbursement, they’ll see the light. And of course, once they try to scan it and it works, you’ll be good to go.

    • Lauren

Anyone know if the manufacturer will still give the 14.99 rebate on Accucheck Aviva if you use a $10 coupon when purchasing?

    • Skymmer

I tried all week to find the eye roller. And found it in the final hours of the sale. I read through all of the blogs and could not figure our HOW I get the $10 gift card. Also I read about but know NOTHING about the cookware deal???? Any help?

      • Skymmer

Hahaha Opps … I meant to attach this to a Rite Aid string … sigh … long day! Sorry!
