The HP Printer is this ad is on clearance for $14.94 at Target. I purchase one last week and a Target coupon printed for $2 off ONY HP printer cartridge purchase. Maybe a better deal for some.

    • di

      so,so good week………………….

    • Diana

My Walgreens has flower and vegatable packets for .10 cents it makes a great filler item.

    • Anita

On a bogo can you use 2 coupons?

      • Kristy

Yes you can per their new coupon policy ( yeah) as long as the cost doesn't go below zero.

        • Anita

          Thanks

    • Jlynnb143

I'm trying to buy the Schick Hydro Razor, can I use the $4 off MQ and $3 RR?

      • Wendy R

make sure you a cheap filler item

        • Jlynnb143

Can I buy the EOS Lip Balm on the same day in different transactions? I'm not sure if Walgreens have limits on that?

          • macboy

Yes. Just ask if you can do two transactions. If there is someone behind you, I would go to the back of the line as a courtesy.

    • A note on filler items at Walgreens: It used to be that you could use a store coupon for a filler item (like that popcorn ball above–mmmmm!), but now the store coupons also count against your coupon total, and you can't have more coupons than number of items. I have had a lot of success with clearance items lately–most stores mark their stuff down to 75% off right away (it is at the manager's discretion to do 75% or 50%), and they have a lot of cool things to use as fillers. At the stores I shop at, the clearance section is always on an end cap in one of the back corners of the store.

I just used fillers that were Walgreens coupon items last night and it worked fine for me.

      • SFLS

My failsafe filler item is the single roll of Wags TP! Usually .50 and we always need TP.

    • Blessedlittlefox

Morning, Jenny. I see the instructions to make the print on the list larger, but I can't figure out how to make it shrink to make it smaller (like it used to be – and not take up so much paper. Thanks……… you are a blessing and are helping so many people. I appreciate what your doing, so much, in Cleveland, TN

      • ajpresto

It depends on your printer's settings, Fox. You can often tell it to shrink to 50% or less. Of course, based on the way that Jenny does her printing, you'll often waste blank paper at the bottom of your shopping list…

      • nancycrom

After you click on “print list”, at top of page click on file, then print preview. On the bar at the top, all the way on the right, where it says “shrink to fit”, you can make it any size you want before you hit print.

    • Becca

dove body wash printable….what zip code????

    • Lucy

$1 RR WYB Crest Toothpaste 6.4 oz or Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush $1.99

-$1 off Crest Reg or Pro Health for Me toothpaste, 4.2 oz +, PG 9/26

The $1.00 Crest coupon specifically excludes Crest Cavity, Baking Soda and Tarter varieties so the coupon won't work on the varieties on sale. The “$.50 off any one Crest Toothpaste” in the 9/26 PG insert is the only coupon that will work for the sale.

      • Karen

I didn't read the small print, and used the P&G $1 off on two different trips. It worked fine.

        • Bee

          But it is cheating.

      • Mandi

Wow! I missed that one too. I used the $1 off 3 times. Yikes! :-(

    • Jennscafeinated

Left this morning for my CVS/Wags run. I get to wags to get my papers. I find out the hard way, there are NO Schick or Nivea coupons in the Chattanooga Times papers :( Screwed up my entire plan at both stores. Did I miss something?

      • Kpatcamp

I didn't get mine in South Alabama either! :( Sad day…

          • Sigaduro

Glad to know i wasn’t the only one who got to Walgreens to find no Shick q’s. Raleigh News and Observer didn’t have them either :( Does anyone know if you can get them on smartsource.com and if so what zip code is it under?

          • TIM

look on thier web site every item u buy has A WEB SITE AND COUPON S ON THIER SITE

            LOOK

        • Cathyhilton28

I got them here in N.C.

      • Kristy

Its very disheartening…I wonder where these coupons are found? It appears that most of the Southern area doesnt have them

        • Jlynnb143

I didn't find it in the Florida Times Union either. :( What a bummer… There was no SS insert.

          • cmm

I didn't find it in the Florida Today (Space Coast) or Orlando Sentinal.

      • Aboveall

I didn't get them in my Mississippi paper either!!! IT'S SO WRONG :(

      • Debbie

    • Kristy

Im curious….who in the Columbia area is able to take advantage of these deals/scenarios when the majority of the coupons are not found in the Columbia paper, nor the surrounding area papers? Where are these nivea and schick coupons found?

      • Mcleodsc

I am in Sumter, no nivea or schick cpns, plus the ITEM purchased from WAGS was missing the Smart Source cpn insert. The ITEM purchased from CVS had all 3 cpn inserts. I have got to remember to check the newspaper for the inserts BEFORE I buy it.

    • Bckhara

The playtex gloves will be free, there is a 1.00 off coupon this week, and an in store coupon that makes them 0.99.

    • Jaybird114blue

I bought Schick Razor and 4 nivea lip gloss

      I had 1 $4.00 off coupon and 2 $2.00 off coupons

      total $5.10 I recieved $4.00 register reward so I paid $1.10

wag advertised savings $11.96 mfg savings $8.00

    • Couponj

I'm so afraid to go back to Walgreens after my last experience but I have two RRs to use before they expire… one for $1.50 and one for 3.50. Maybe you all can help me figure out what I did wrong last week so I don't repeat it again?

I was purchasing the following items:

      2 – Emergen C

      2 – Tilex Mold & Mildew

1 – Oral B Tooth Brush Replacement heads

1 – Collace Tabs (great $10 rebate on these and with the $4 in store coupon 7.99 makes it a money maker)

      Transaction 1:

      2 Tilex

      1 Emergen C

Gave 2 $1/1 manuf coupons for the Tilex and a $1.50 register reward I had from last week.

No RRs printed – manager came over and voided transaction

3 items & 3 coupons – what was wrong here?

      Transaction 2:

      2 Tilex

Gave 2 $1/1 manuf coupons for the Tilex

No RRs printed – manager said it must be the manuf coupons but she would check the system… no errors… transaction voided.

      2 items & 2 coupons – what's the problem here?

      Transaction 3:

      1 Emergen C

      1 Fast Break candy bar

      $1.50 RR from last week

No RRs printed – Manager said it was the RR and voided the transaction. She said my only other option was to mail in a claim for my missing RRs.

      2 items, 1 RR used – what's wrong here?

      Transaction 4:

      1 Emergen C

      No coupons

      RR printed – YAY

      Transaction 5:

      1 Collace

1 $1/1 coupon from inside package I had

Manager said I could not use the 1.50 off RR from last week or the $3.50 off from Emergen C since I used the other coupon.

      Transaction 6:

      1 Emergen C

No coupons – paid with RR from Transaction 4, manager said another RR would not print but it was now 12:45AM and I just wanted out of the store.

      RR printed – HU??????

I left without my Tilex and my Oral B replacement heads (which I really need) because she said the RRs wouldn't print when I use a manufacturers coupon. So, I am completely confused. What am I doing wrong? Thank goodness the store was dead and the few customers that came in were directed to another register while the manager tried to work with me. She was really nice but it was really frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I don't screw up again this week!

      • I have read through your scenarios twice and I'm sorry to say that I have no idea what happened. The Walgreens catalina machines can be quirky (to say the least.) In my experience I have found almost all of my issues have been caused by the following: 1.) more coupons than items in a transaction, 2.) RR is more than the pre-tax amount 3.) using a RR from a particular company (e.g. Proctor & Gamble) to pay for a product from that same company (in which case RR won't print.) 4.) using a RR that is the exact same amount as the one that is supposed to print. (sometimes RR won't print–don't know why!) 5. Catalina machine is a.) turned off, b.) offline, c.) out of paper (all 3 have happened to me!) In that case, if you are sure that a RR was supposed to print, sometimes the manager will give you cash back instead. Good luck & keep trying. The rewards are worth it!

        • Mcleodsc

If you make a purchase and the RR does not print, call the Catalina Co . Like the poster above I have encountered-machine not turned on, machine offline, and machine outof paper. The catalina co. will be able to tell you why the rr did not print and mail you out the rr you earned plus sometimes they send extra for your trouble.

          • I never thought of calling Catalina. The managers at the stores I go to regularly are usually pretty helpful and good about giving cash if there is a problem, but that is a great idea!

        • Couponj

Ruth, thanks for taking the time to read… i know it's lengthly… I was and still am completely baffled. I'm starting to wonder if the issue was with the Tilex RR. Earlier in the week this product was double printing rewards, maybe they overcorrected the issue???? Sigh

      • showard

I try to always have more items than coupons…..throw in a 10 cent piece of candy or if there is something else that I need, I go ahead and get it. This seems to help me get my RR rewards. And make sure you don't use the RR rewards on items made by the same company…..P&G makes a bunch of things!

      • Dianne

Just now reading your transactions. You said it was 12:45 AM. Was that Sunday morning? Could the deals have been over, since a new week had started?
Was the $1.50 RR from the same manufacturer as one of your items? That would make for a no RR print. Transaction 5 seems you were trying to use two coupons for one item, if I am reading it correctly.

I am baffled, too, as I did your second transaction myself, except with a different amount RR from the previous week.

Sorry for your experience! Walgreens is difficult to get right, but when you do, there are great deals to be had!

      • Jodie

When I was at Walgreen's Monday something similar happened to me… when I used a coupon, the RR did not print. They told me I couldn't do both.

    • Mechlingfamily

Well, today my friendly ;) Walgreens manager told me that starting today, October 3rd, Walgreen's policy is that you can no longer buy more than one each of the RR items. If you buy 2, they have been instructed to “rip up your 2nd RR.” Humm. This seems like a difficult policy to enforce, minus a card system that tracks purchases. Has anyone else been told this, or does this store manager really just not like me.

      • Mcleodsc

I would just have to call corporate to confirm this!! If the cashier rips up any RR then she has committed theft and I would report it to the manager, corporate, and the police if needed. No way that could be true!

There is no way to track how many of each RR items you buy. I usually buy one of each per day of the sale. If you were to do several back to back orders then they could limit you to one of each. He was just blowing smoke!!

        • JBU

It's not theft. If their policy is one RR item and people choose not to follow the policy, then it seems fair to me. Just do different transactions at different registers.

          • Nikki

actually, if the cashier keeps a register reward from a customer, it is considered theft. that is the customers register reward & should be given to them upon payment of their transaction.

        • Nikki

I agree… call corporate a.s.a.p.! i go in my local walgreens ALL the time & have no heard such a thing as of yet. the register rewards (some RR are manufacturer's coupons & some RR are not manu. coupons– such as the ones you receive when you get the flu shot) & walgreens is reimbursed for those manufacture's coupons. you need to get the name of the manager or cashier that told you that & call 1800walgreens soon!

        • Bee

I do that too. I usually go to Wag's three or four days in a row. I did get 5 Nivea yesterday morning and there were PLENTY left. When I went in today, there were NONE. I can easily go to about four different Wag's within a three to four mile radius, so no big deal. I am usually out doing something else anyway.

I also send my daughter sometimes to get extras. Today there was still tons of EOS.

I have been using my EOS RR along with the Schick $4.00 coupon to purchase the Schick Hydro and a .29 Russell Stover pumpkin. Then I take the $4 RR and purchase two Crest toothpastes (1 Pro-health and 1 regular) along with 4 pumpkins. I then use the resulting $3 in RR to purchase another EOS along with the last pumpkin. Great deal on the candy and the limit is 6. I spend about $2 OOP including tax and got some awesome coupons from the Crest toothpaste too.

        • Imajine

It only considered “theft” to Walgreens if the cashier physically keeps the RR for themselves, if we rip them up and throw them away then we are just being plain rude, which warrants talking to the manager on duty, but we won't get fired for theft and as long as the customer was legitimately right then the manager would just print out a new one.

      • JBU

I just make different transactions and so I get all of the register rewards I'm supposed to. It's a problem easily solved. Yesterday, I had a transaction at the cosmetics register, then I had another at the register up front. For the record, I save plenty of register reward items for other customers. I hate it when people are selfish and take all the items for themselves, not thinking of leaving any for others.

Walgreens just needs to come up with a card like CVS and Rite Aid. Problem would be solved. It would help us customers who are not trying to take advantage of the system AND prevent people from buying up all of the Register Reward items for themselves.

        • Imajine

The only problem with a card is when someone tries to use a Proctor and Gamble RR on another Proctor and Gamble product and it won't work, it would be extremal hard for the cashier to explain it, the RR have the rules printed on them, no one ever reads them but they do none the less have them, and having those rules printed on them like that sure does help explaining it to customers who don't understand.

      • Imajine

Who ever told you that is lying, I work at Walgreens and have for a while now. WE WERE NEVER TOLD TO DO THIS. The only time there has ever been a problem is when a customer tries to buy two RR items in one transaction and the only problem with that is that it doesn't always print both RR. The way around that is to just do them in desperate transactions. They can't stop you from buying more than one product, that “manager” is probably just in a bad mood because the store has been losing money in that area and bonus season is upon us, less store profit=no bonus. Plus RR encourage customers to come back which is why we have them.

    • I know there is a lot of animosity on this site towards Walgreens, and I totally agree that some of their rules and “quirks” can be [very] frustrating. However, with that said, I gotta say that I have also had some wonderful experiences there & gotten some incredible deals. Today I ended up getting $74.29 worth of stuff for $3.54 and my cashier was unbelievably helpful and patient. Sure, it would've been nice to get the Schick coupon and score a free razor, but how can I complain?

    • Jj

Does anyone know where the “free” dinner is for when you purchase the Prevacid?

Free Dinner (up to $25 value) at participating restaurants WYB Prevacid 42 ct

    • Debbie

Does anyone know if Walgreens will accept a special type of toothpaste coupon for the regular line of toothpaste? In other words, this week Aquafresh is on sale, but the suggested coupons are all for special types of Aquafresh; i.e. whitening, extreme fresh, etc…, not just the regular tube. The ad says just the “regular” tube is on sale. I have had trouble with this in the past, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

      • Momcouponer

The manufacturer will only reimburse the store if the coupon is used as it is supposed to be. Ethically, if it states for a specialty toothpaste, and not the original or regular, and your cashier puts it through, the store takes the loss. That falls back on us as honest and trustworthy. Too many stores are cracking down on this and not allowing many coupons due to the lack of integrity. It's best not to try and push, because you may get away with it, but the rest of us will eventually suffer the consequences as I have at many locations.

    • dannysangel

The Excedrin PM is NOt included in the sale but you can go to the Benadryl website and get some good coupons and my Walgreens had Benadryl B1G1 @ 4.49.. I had a -4.00 coupon so that was an awesome deal as often as I buy it..

    • Just a heads up on a great deal I found at Walgreens today. (I went in for some more Starbucks DoubleShots (mmmmmmm…) but couldn't resist checking out the clearance section.) I found Scotch reusable hanging strips (perfect for hanging up my daughter's artwork on her door–so much better than the glue stick she uses!) on clearance for $0.74 (normally $2.99) with $1 off peelies on each one. The computer would only accept 2 of the peelies & the cashier wouldn't push the third one through (it all depends on the cashier!), but it was still a great deal. Click on my name to see the pictures on my blog!

    • GC

I've only been couponing for a month so I have a question about Walgreens and any other store for that matter. Is there something wrong with only purchasing one item that is a freebie when you use a coupon? Today I stopped in Wags to buy the Nivea lip care for $1 and had a $1off coupon. The cashier was extremely rude to me and said something was wrong and checked both my coupon and the receipt. She then rolled her eyes at me and grunted and did not even hand me my lip gloss, but left it on the counter and proceeded to check out the next customer. Good grief it wasn't like I was stealing. I just had a coupon. Didn't know if I was breaking a couponers ethical code or something, but there wasn't really anything else I was interested in getting this week besides the lip gloss.

      • Bangerang

You do not have to justify getting a free product. Good for you.

      • Vince5428

I really just started today and I was at Walgreens. I had a sweet little lady help me and she was great, she told me everyone needs to save money these days. I would try another store if that is how she wants to be!!

      • lucky38

I know how you feel some cashiers work @ walgreen extremely rude . I use to shop at walgreen every week , but now I only go there unless the deal really good . Walgreen corp need to train the cashiers how to treat customers politely . If the item is $ 1 and you have coupon for $ 1 off , you should get this item for free . Well all you have to pay is tax . Yesterday I got 3 Nivea lip care and pay 18 cents tax .

    • SFLS

My failsafe filler item is the single roll of Wags TP! Usually .50 and we always need TP.

FREE medicine! no one has shared this so I thought I should. The nyquil deal is super sweet if you use the $4.00 off a sinex product that was in the same PG 9/26. I bought 1 box of Nyquil daytime cold and flu and one box of nyquil nightime sinex liquid gels. I used the 1.00 off coupon and the $4.00 off coupon got 5 in rr so the meds were free. Bring it on cold and flu season! My house is armed and protected.

    • Christina

Just thought I post this note, after reading some interesting comments, It seems that the honest system or honor system is hard to follow for some shoppers that is why stores, seem to be going to extreme sometimes to make it difficult for customers to use some coupons. If it says one per customer, it means one per customer. I also saw that coupons including P&G are starting to say on 4 per customer per transaction at one time. So the more the system is misused, the more difficult it will be to use coupons. What you think?

    • frugal mom

I am having trouble printing the Dove body wash printables that are underlined. They do not exist under the coupon website that it goes to. Help? What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much.

      • Shicks64

me too. did you figure it out?

    • Newsforsue

Don't forget…..if you are MILITARY make your Walgreens visit on Wed. when you can get additional discount . 15% i think.

    • Amo4503

I am new to the RR… If I buy the Schick Hydro Razor for $7.99, and use my $4 off coupon, will the RR of $4 be applied to that transation, or do I have to wait until the next transaction, to use those RR? Thanks! new to couponing, less then a week

      • Cmt261

you will need to use the 4. rr off a different transaction and cannot use it to purchase another razor or the next rr will not print. since you are new, i really recommend that you read the couponing at walgreens tutorial on southersavers…its great!

    • ams7043

Everytime I try to get a good deal at Walgreens in Fayetteville, Ga I tell myself that is my last time. But today I saw the great deal on Starbucks Frappuccino 4pk w/in ad cpn so I get 2-4pks and go up to the checkout and give her the $3.99 in/ad cpn, $1/2 Store cpn and 2 – $1 off 4 pk (printable). She rings up the $3.99 in/ad cpn and the $1/2 store cpn and tries one of the $1 off printable and it beeps and she says that I can only use the store cpn or the $1 off cpns. I get this everytime I go into that store. When will I ever learn. It takes me longer to learn than the average couponer – stay out of Walgreens. This happens everytime I try to get a good deal there and use cpns that everyone else says they use. I didn't buy them. That was my last time.

      • Cmt261

you had too many coupons for the 1 item purchased

      • Brooke

I've heard that the store q's are now considered regular q's. You probably needed a filler item.

      • biskit0323

I think you had too many coupons. My mom's store told her you have to have as many items as coupons. She was buying 3 items with 4 coupons. And she added a cheap piece of candy and no problem after that.

    • Shicks64

i cannot print any of the dove products help!!!

I went into a store that I have been shopping at for several weeks today in middle tn. and had a shopping nightmare. I have been trying to show my family and friends how to do this, so I took my mom and best friend with me today to show them the ropes. We all wanted the razor deal so that is what we went for first. There wasn't very many on the shelf so I asked an associate if they had anymore….she said yes and went to the back and came out with more. NEVER said a word regarding us getting several razors each. Had to ask for a couple more items due to this store not being stocked…and that is when it started. ATTITUDE…and from who????? The Manager!!! I guess we had to make her actually work for a minute or so and she had so much of an attitude it was unreal. Well, we get to the register and the cashier informs us that about 1 minute ago the “Manager” placed a limit on the razors! Seriously? So I asked the cashier since we had these items in our buggy for over an hour while we done the rest of the shopping if this would apply to us? She stated that she would ask? She did not return to us….the Manager did, with even more ATTITUDE and informed us that WE were the reason for the limit! I was very pleasant with her considering I wanted to crawl over the counter and lay her out, but I was even more embarrassed for myself considering I brought my family with me and had talked up the store so much about how great they all were there…and then this happened! We finished our transactions and left. I picked up my call IMMEDIATELY and called the corporate office and went off to them. I had never encountered this type of problem before. Is this common?

Jenny has listed Rimmel cosmetics to be 50% off. Does anyone know if this is correct……….or should it be B1G1 at 50% off?

    • Gina

      FYI.

I went to buy the Rimmel mascara today. It was 50% off, but Jenny lists a $3.00 coupon from Oct.All you magazine to use with this deal. This is incorrect, It CANNOT be used at Walgreens (I tried) because it says at the bottom of the coupon: Purchase at Walmart.

    • KathySC

I've heard so many horror stories about trips to Walgreens but today was my second trip there to find deals. I was at Lexington, SC Hope Ferry Rd. They were so nice. The lady who works in cosmetics helped me find the lip balm that was on sale and checked to see if I could get two w/RR. The manager (I think) said yes I could I just needed to ring them up separately. The lady at check out explained how it all worked (while people waited behind me) and help me ring things up separately to get the best deals. I was a great trip can't wait til next week!

      • Cmt261

so glad to hear a good trip! read the tutorial on SouthernSavers for a better understanding of how couponing works at Walgreens

      • Mcleodsc

Great- WAGS here in Sumter, SC on Lafayette/Calhoun is limiting shoppers to one of the lip balms. I am going to purchase a second one from the 24hr WAGS on Broad St this afternoon if they have any left.

    • Jodicoupon29

Wow…I have always read these 'comments' pages and heard many 'horror stories' about Walgreens…I have to say I have been truly blessed to not run into any problems at any store I shop at…CVS..Wags…RiteAid…etc…It must be the Lord, because, God knows I would turn red all over and want to hide somewhere if confronted!

Also…I always have every coupon mentioned in the ads….Awesome! But I am still new to all this…Wish me luck!

    • Teej

Does anyone know the zip code to get the slim fast coupon?

    • regina

I noticed on my rr 3.00 for my lip balm it did not see PG. does that make it a store coupon or is it still a manufacture's coupon.

    • rochell

Good Deal on a case of the Starbucks 4 pack Coffee… The 4 pack case will be $6.99 before you use the in-store coupon which will make it $3.99! You can then use the $1/2 Stacbucks two pack the coupon will take .50¢ off of one, then you can use the $1.00 off manufacturers coupon from (last weeks smart source I believe)… You could get a case for a little over $3.00 almost (.75¢ per coffee).

      • charlotte

Is the $1/2 that you are reffering to is this on the actual product? I am confused I know you can print the 1.00 coupon but not sure how to use both. thanks

    • Mlg Cmg

just bought 15 Nivea Lip balms (all free) and 8 of the Sinus med – no problems with doing multiple trans on the sinus meds (2 for 10 with $5 rr back) now I am ready for next weeks ad with $20 rr in pocket –

    • Lisa

First trip to Walgreens today didn't turn out like planned. The cashier was great but this is what happened. I bought 2 two Shick razors each on separate transactions with 2 $4 off coupons. I got back $4 for each transaction. The 2nd two transactions I used 2 more manufactures and then the two $4 RR. I didn't get back two $4 for those transactions. I wasn't happy about that and even the manager came to talk with me about that like I was stupid but R.A. and CVS both roll their bucks like that. They told me that the RR were “coupons” and that if I used two “coupons” ( one manufacturers and one Walgreens RR then I wasn't allowed to get any RR back on that transaction. So wasn't very happy with this sort of set up ( not being able to roll the paper bucks) even though I got a good deal on 4 razors.

ok called customer service and they say this is correct. So I got punished for using RR on this transaction with a manufacturers' coupon instead of my own money. She told me that even if I would have used those towards a totally different product that says I'm to get RR back that even those would be denied to me if I used any RR at all. I think they are full of bologna. lol This right?

I could be wrong, but I believe you had a different problem than what the manager told you. I honestly think some managers make up stories as to why your RR didn't work because they honestly don't know. I've heard some pretty crazy excuses!!

RR will not rollover if used on the same item. I learned that the hard way too. I'm pretty sure you could have used the razor RR on a different item and not had a problem. Just don't ever use them on the same item–even if it is another transaction. And sometimes a coupon that says “Walgreens” on it also says “manufacturer's coupon” and it cannot be stacked with another “m.” coupon.

I am unable to find the printable coupon for mabelline foundation. Is there a particular zip code to bring this coupon up? Anyone know? Thanks!
