LOVE the Bayer Meter Coupon!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Jenny!

    • Tina

Scenario #2 doesn,t need a filler item, does it? Thanks Jenny!!

      • Kim

I’m thinking the same thing….why would Scenario #2 need a filler item? Also, if you’re buying 2 of them, would you get $20 in RR back? I don’t know….

        • Tina

Kim, if you purchase 2 of the joint juices at the same time you can use the b1g1, but it will only print out 1 RR because it’s 1 per transaction.

      • Sue

Maybe the B1G1 Q applies to both of the Joint Juices so it would count as a total of 3 Q’s including the RR, making it necessary to have 3 items.

        • Chrystal

Is anyone else having trouble getting this coupon? I did the survey and was sent an email, but when I tried to print the coupon it said that there were none available.

          • Chrystal

Never mind :) I read a little further down and it appears that the promo is over.

            • Leslie

Sam thing happened to me yesterday, but today it has been reset, if you go back and print it outit should work

          • TTraynum

When I go to my email it just allows a online coupon. Can anybody please help me, I’m a newbie.

    • I wish I had a Bayer meter coupon to get me started. It looks like a great week at Wags otherwise. I usually don’t get excited about Wags, but this week I am. I guess I’ll have to spend a little money out of pocket this week to get me started. Thanks Jenny!

      • mandy

me too. No Bayer meter coupon :(

      • TONJA

Bayer Meter coupon for $20.00 off in todays RP 1/31.. gives u the same deal.. gets u started.. buy more than one paper and it pays for the paper cost too..

        • Chrystal

Thank you for pointing this out. I hadn’t checked the paper yet and was feeling disappointed at not being able to take advantage of this deal.

          • Jenny

I thoht the bayer cp was for the test strips when you buy a meter.

        • Erika

My RP does not have the Bayer coupon or the Blink coupon. What is up with that?? I am sooo dissapointed!!! I have been having this problem alot lately with this site. My RP has not been matching up with what is advertised. :(

          • Jenny

Sadly, coupons are very regional. I have to post everything that was released in the south but many areas barely get any coupons compared to the larger areas. You can use the weekly variation lists to get an idea of what you might be missing and then order those coupons online. I like http://www.thecouponclippers.com.

            • Erika

Thanks for the info. I have been purchasing the largest paper my town has. Usually the Tennessean and Knoxville News sentinal are the 2 I rely on. I guess Tennesseans get to miss out on this AWESOME DEAL!!!
:( Thanks so much for this site. It helps my family tremendously!! BLESSINGS!!!

          • Tina

To the people that are upset with their local newspapers not having good coupons, I use to buy my local small town’s paper and got crummy q’s so then I started buying the local “big” town paper, which in my case is Indianapolis. Most small towns carry the nearest big city paper – buy that paper instead of the local small town paper. Also if you have the choice between two cities – buy the paper that comes from the largest city!

I get most of what Jenny’s list of coupons are. Hope this helps some of you other people that live in small towns like me! jm2c

    • Missy S

this one does look great! i don’t have the bayer coupon either, and it is hard for me to start at wags, but i may try!!

    • Bev

The ad also says Starbucks ice cream is 2/$5, and there is a coupon for $1 11-15-09 RP. Also a coupon on Bricks printable. That’s a good price for Starbucks icecream!

    • Alicia

If we dont have the coupon for the bayer is there another way to work out a good deal?

      • sarah in nc

I’m wondering that too…. if you find out anything, let me know!

      • Joy

Yeah, do the Accu-Check Aviva Deal instead. It becomes a $5 money maker. Works like this: $14.99 – $10.00 coupon – $5.00 walgreens store coupon = $0 oop and get back $5RR. Make sure to give the manufacturer coupon first and you might need something to cover the .01 overage – I would just to be safe.

        • Christina

awesome thank you for this info!!

        • Heather

Can you still find the booklet with the store coupon?

        • kim

I did this deal today, but they gave me a hard time, saying the man.Q was not to be combined with any other offer. They did eventually give it to me though. The store Q expires today.

      • Rebecca

I am using my 10 rr from last weeks Pepsi deal. They have it this week too. If you buy 7 pepsi 12 packs you pay $21.00 out of pocket and get back $10 rr. This is more out of pocket that usual but you can’t beat 7/$11 on pepsi and if your family is like mine soda comes in more handy than a beyer meter. But that’s me. Anyways you could start your scenerio with that if you wanted and use that 10rr to get the ball rolling. Just an idea! I heart you Jenny for saving me hundreds of dollars!

        • I agree with you on the Pepsi deal. I have gotten this Pepsi deal for the 3rd week in row. You can’t beat $1.57 for a 12pk of Pepsi products.

          • joanne

How about .25 ea for 8 assorted bags of chips?

    • leila

Ok, I’m new to Walgreen’s. I read the RR info and am I right in thinking I can get as many of the RR deal items as long as I don’t use a RR to pay for them that was given for the same item? There are several products I use all the time on sale that I would love to get multiples of.

      • Marsha

Yes, but it is usually the manufacturer, not the item. So if you used a RR that you received from a P&G item to buy another P&G item that gave you a RR it usually will not print. On the RR it tells you “courtesy of XXXXX” so that is how you can keep up with who makes what.

      • Sloan

        Also, pay in cash.

    • tracy cook

i think it stinks that the pepsi product rebate does not work for sc

      • Erin

when I click the rebate, Tracey, it says offer good only in SC among the other states, so it should be included, not excluded. yeah. Thats under $5 for 7 cases of soda!

      • It looks like the ones for SC are the ones that you have to buy the beer to get. Am I wrong?

      • TONJA

these rebates arent good in Florida either…

      • joanne

What’s so bad about 6 cases of pepsi for 5.00 at cvs?

    • Debbie

If I follow the scenario I will be getting some items that we don’t use. Any suggestions on what I could do with them?

      • Kim

You could either save them for holiday gifts, or you could donate them to a local charity.

      • Bev

I keep a box of freebies or almost-freebies that I save and take to my local Rescue Mission downtown (I’m in Charlotte). They can ALWAYS use toiletries, medicines, and other supplies for the homeless! I love being able to contribute in this way. :-)

      • I call a women’s and children’s shelter. They need everything and come to pick it all up!

    • Alicia

If you have a b1g1 coupon for the joint juice with you get dbl the amount of RR since you are getting 2?

      • anton

no alicia you wouldn’t because walgreens is always “limit one”, which really means one deal per transaction… if you wanted to do a second deal you could, but it in a separate transaction without using the RR from that manufacture

        • Alicia

          ok i understand. thanks

      • Rose

no prints left for the joint juice. :(

    • Tina

The 5.00 printable coupon is from Rite Aid . Will Walgreens accept it ?

      • Stacey

        No

        • Rm

Walgreen’s does not accept competitors coupons you can’t even get them to take a manufacturer coupon with the Target logo on it. They can’t wrap their head around the idea that it is in fact a manufacturer coupon even with all the fine print right there in front of them.

          • TONJA

mine will take the manu/target coupon sometimes depending on the cashier.. it all goes with their mood.. used the kmart .75 cents off the kleenix last week which were bogo and had no trouble.. just got lucky and hit the right cashier.. i have found in my stores.. to wait til evening when the high school kids are working.. most of them could care less one way or the other.. just doing there hrs.. the day time shifts have been there for years.. and take their job and loyalty to wags very serious….

          • TJ

Uh RM that depends on the Walgreens store you go to. The store I shop at accept coupons like that. If you have problems with the cashier try speaking with the manager. Then explain that it states on it Redeemable AT XXXX. It doesn’t say Redeemable ONLY AT XXXX.

    • Candace

is this $5 off $20 supposed to be for the RITEAID post and not Walgreens..am I missing something? Please forgive my ignorance…thanks

      • amanda

I was just gonna ask the same thing! If we can use it at wags I will be thrilled!!

      • Brandy W

Thanks for asking this question. I was wondering the same thing…. I’m pretty new to this stuff, but Southern Savers has already been a huge blessing to my family of 6 and some other people that I’ve been able to help out. Thanks to Jenny and all the others who have made this site possible!!

      • Megan A.

I think that it must be a mistake. Walgreens has never accepted competitors’ coupons, so there’s no way they’ll take a RiteAid 5/20. Perhaps it was meant for this week’s RiteAid post. As much as Jenny does, mistakes are bound to pop up now and again.

        • Megan A.

Plus, notice that she doesn’t use a 5/20 Q in the scenarios.

          • Tina

I did notice that she was not using it in the scenarios. Just wanted to make sure I was not missing a chance to use it at Walgreens as I hardly ever go to Rite-Aid.
WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO JENNY!!!!! THANKS FOR TEACHING US HOW TO SAVE
            MONEY!!!

            • DeeDee

is there anyplace that will take the 5 off of 20 coupon? I hate to think I just wasted 30 minutes of my life watching videos for a coupon I can’t use!

    • Foxfunds

Um – am I seeing the wording right? – the BOGO Joint Juice is for a single, four pack or six pack of bottles. The RR deal is for the 30 powder sticks to add to bottled water. If your Wags is a stickler for the details – this is not going to work. And the wording is very specific – not “any JJ product”. Still a great deal if you need it – and I do, it really does help me more than I thought it would.

      • Chrissy

My B1G1 Joint Juice coupon I just printed says “on any Joint Juice product”. Only the advertisement on the bottom of the page talks about types of Joint Juice. As long as the coupon is cut out, Walgreens will never see that to be able to question you about it. And the coupon does say “any Joint Joice product”

        • foxfunds

well boo – I print these everytime they reset – I drink them every day. I went to another computer to get this one and it gives me a code for bogo on their online store.

          Thanks for the info.

          • joanne

Tried to print the bogo but it says I already printed. Any ideas on zip codes to use. Thanks

            • TONJA

HEY. when I try to print the coupon it says the deal is no longer available.. is there a better zip code? mine is 32174 .. central Florida. this is a good deal. my husband uses it too..

    • I love shopping at my local Wags on Saturday afternoons to get that weeks deals before they change. I racked up today and there was at least 2 of everything in stock that I wanted. They had been out of the razors all week until today. I got 4 razors and used 2 B1G1 coupons, 2 Olay Quench Lotions and used 2 $2 off Olay Lotion coupons, 2 Olay In-Shower Lotions and used 2 $1 off Olay In-Shower Lotion coupons plus got them free, and 2 sure deodarants and used 1 $1.50 mens sure and $1 off any sure and the Wags coupon for 2/$3. I payed about $14 and hopefully I can still submit the mail in rebate for the 2 Olay Lotions. Woohoo!

      • Donna

That would have to be postmarked by the 31st of this month if you got it out today, you could still get it.

        • MonaLisa

You have to BUY the product by 1/29/10, Rebate just has to be post marked by 2/12/10. (per rebate slip) You had me worried I had to go check again :)

          • Cynthia

Well, thank you for clarifying that, cuz my heart was beating kinda fast. lol I thought I’d messed up and was gonna kick myself!

      • heather

I think that the olay was to be purchased by the 29th .

        • Victoria

If you bought it today, it is the 30th and you cannot get the rebate.

          • Thanks for letting me know. I did buy 2 earlier in the week so I can use that reciept to get the rebate still. I just thought I got a good deal so I went back yesterday and did it again. Thanks again!

    • Christina

How many transactions can you do at one time? Do you have to keep coming back to do all this?

      • Debbie

I would love to know the answer to this one as well.

      • Brandy W

I’ve been telling the cashier that I have more than one order (I have all my stuff ready ahead of time) and if someone comes up behind me during a transaction, I’ll ask them if they want to go ahead before I do another one.

      • Debbie

I Am new to this and would love to know the answer to this!

        • mandy

I do the same thing. Just get your coupons in order, all of your stuff ready, & let the cashier know that you will be doing multiple transactions. If the line gets long, I try to be polite & go to the end of the line.

          • Also they recommend that you check out at the photo or cosmetics register if you have more than 1 transaction.

        • Amy

I always let them know I am doing multimple transactions. If there is anyone in line behind me, I ALWAYS jump to the end of the line. Even if someone says it is fine and to go ahead…..they are probably thinking that it really isn’t! :)

      • Susan

I have one Walgreens that is awesome and will let me do multiple transactions. I always step out of line if anyone comes behind me.

However, there is another Walgreens in town that will not only NOT let you do multiple transactions, they will not let you redeem a RR the same day, even if you leave the store and come back.

        • Ginger

That’s ridiculous. I would talk to the manager, get his/her name, and then write or email Wags corporate. If they can’t show you printing on the RR that says it can’t be redeemed the same day, the don’t have a leg to stand on. Corporate will contact the manager and set him/her straight.

    • Kim

If you get the Parade insert in your paper today, there was a $1.00 off for Keebler Club crackers. Use 2q with the Keebler deal and you get 2 boxes of Club crackers for $1.00.

      • Tina

The coupon in our Parade(Al) was 1.00 off any brand of CHILI when you buy the crackers.

        • Joy

My newspaper had 1.00 off Keebler Club crackers in it. No mention of chili. Must be 2 different coupons published?

          • Tina

The one in Alabama Parade shows a picture of the Club Crackers but the
little print says “off one chili any brand when you purchase 1 box of Club crackers.” I thought at first it was 1 off club crackers and was excited because we eay alot of them. But Chili not so much.

    • Susan

Does the Tostitos salsa qualify as a condiment for the Coors/Pepsi rebate?

      • DeeDee

        yes.

    • sarah in nc

Tried to print out the joint juice q, but it says I already printed it, which I DID NOT! Ugh! Any ideas?

      • Joanne

Me too — I even tried a different computer. Must be out….

      • Sharon

        I tried too. Ugh!!

        • Kim

          Me too, any suggestions?

          • Pamela

I tried all three of our computers because I couldn’t remember if I had really printed them on the one I use all the time and got the same on each….already printed. I know I hadn’t printed on two of the computers so…. I am wishing it would be corrected by morning….we’ll see.

        • DeeDee

I got the same message! NEver printed one before-ever.

          • Kay

I had the same problem. I tried with two different Email addresses. I have never printed this coupon before but it says I have.

    • Rob

Went to WAGs on Saturday night and the Bayer Meters were not printing $10 but rather $5 RR and $5 MFR coupon on test strips. Also the JJ catalinas were not printing even if it was a cash sale. The manager worked out a deal for me though.

      • Joy

These deals don’t start until tomorrow, that’s why neither worked for you. The meters have been $5RR all month but will be $10 starting 1/31. Glad the manager helped you though, how nice!

        • Tausha

Actually, WAGS downloads their next week sales on Saturday at noon. So, it should have been working. Unless for some reason their catalina didn’t roll over to the new sale? Often works to your advantage on sales though. For instance, got Revlon lipstick once when they had rebates. Happen to be that next ad had them BOGO, so I got the 2nd free and the rebate on the first too! I love this stuff :)

          • Courtney

i’ve never had trouble getting the sale prices the night before, but i’ve never rec’d a RR for the next week’s ad on a saturday. they just don’t print until sunday here.

wish me luck, i’m off to find 4 bayer meters! :)

            • Rob

I went back to the same WAGs and the manager showed me that the JJ catalinas are now printing. Must be that the sale prices hit the POS devices and the catalinas are programmed to not start til the sale date.

Now, what I do with the meters I bought last night and only gave me $5? Should I return them and ask for a redo?

    • Shon

Its very early & I’ve already visited my 24 hr Walgreens for the Aviva & Contour deal. Sad to say, it didn’t end on a very good note. The store manager told me that I could only purchase 2 meters (regardless of the brand) because I was using coupons. NOT: 2 Bayer & 2 Aviva; but 2 meter period!!!! When I asked her why she responded, “I can’t just give you all of those meters for free when other customers are actually PAYING for them”. At this point I’m actually livid, yet trying to make sure that I’m understanding her correctly. So I asked, “If I make my purchase with cash, who many may I get?”, to which she says, “As many as you’d like”. Are you kidding me??!!! This is absolutely ridiculous. Limiting me to 2 meters is fine, if that’s the limit set for ALL customers by the store; yet to limit me to 2 TOTAL meters because I’m using coupons is absolutely asinine. In addition, when I tried to assist her with the coupon (entering the SN on the Q) she says, “What are you talking about, I don’t need the SN”. So, I politely pointed it out to her while she tried to read the fine print to see if there was anyway to NOT use it. Needless to say, I immediately called the Wags CS line upon leaving the store and am looking very forward to speaking to someone from Corporate. ***Sorry the post is so long, I just needed to vent a little*****

      • Rm

I called corporate once and they were very rude and uneducated in couponing. The woman who answered the phone told me I could only use 1 coupon total per transaction. No arguing the point even when I was reading to her the Walgreen’s coupon policy. Then she let me know that she would have someone call me. IT never happened. Please let us know what happens.

      • LD

        Guess she doesnt like the cash a coupon gets her store or the $ her store will bring in from doing the sales [contracted price from accu-check [J&J]} from sales during this promo . There is extra for them for each one they sell during this time . Not at full price though with no promo going . Just does not make Walgreens a good shopping experience. Even for free the knot in my stomach or the blood pressure rise isnt worth it . When another store sooner or later will have a deal too.;

    • Shannon

I just purchased the Accu-Chek monitor and the MIR inside says it’s only good on purchases made prior to Dec. 31, 2009. The Walgreens ad makes it appear that there is a valid MIR eligible for the monitor. The monitor was $14.99, I had a $5 coupon from today’s paper, got the $5 RR. after MIR I would have $10, but now I’m OOP $10 because the MIR is expired. So frustrating!!!! I don’t even think I can return the monitor because you had to open it to get the MIR form and find out it’s already expired!!! Suggestions?

      • frankiegee

        Hi Shannon:
Meter MIRs almost always require an OOP for the meter on your reciept. You would have mailed it in and gotten a reply that you didn’t qualify or a check for 0.00 – which may or may not use up your “one per household” rebate limit

I personally do my meter rebates in other stores that have a $5 off $20, etc.

      • LD

I would go to the manager and show them the add and the rebate and ask for your money back . This is not right . This is one of the things that makes me not like shoping Walgreens and loving CVS. False advertising.

like the B1G1 free razor deals last week unless u use a coupon . lol it is really 1/2 price per razor. Or the post above u r limited to meter quanity if you use coupons. Now how many people will buy a meter with cash and not use a coupon . I need meters but never pay full price . If I had to heck ,I would use a perscription and just use co-pay . that is a bunch of malarky .

      • TJ

If I am not mistaken you should be able to take that meter back and get a refund for it. Although, returning it means you have to give back the RR, but at least you will not be OOP. If and when you take it back explain to them that the Rebate has expired and see what they will do to help you out.

    • Nicole

I’m new to all of this… I see to take advantage of the scenerio Jenny layed out that you need the Bayer Meter coupon. So Basically, I need to start stocking up on coupons months in advance, because eventually I may be able to use them? Also, where do I find the Red Plum coupon inserts… just moved into town, and I will be getting a newspaper, will they be in there?

      • joanne

        Yes.

    • Suzanne

will WG allow you to stack coupons? Manuf and store coupon for like Aleve and All detergent?? does any one know? I know each ind. store may have policies about stacking but generally does WG allow a customer to stack? thanks

      • Shon

        Yes. 1 Wags Q, 1 Manu Q per item.

    • Deena

So I just bought the Accu-Chek meter and it has a thing to mail in the rebate but I was looking at the fine print and it states on mine that the “Offer valid on purchases made thru Dec 31,2009 and must be postmarked by Jan 31, 2010.” Has anyone else looked at that? Is it just mine?

      • Katrina Taylor

I just purchased the same meter today, but I don’t see the purchase by December 31, 2009 date. Where was that printed? If that is the case, I am definitely returning my meter.

    • Erica

I tried to use multiple RRs on one transaction (like Jenny did in her scenarios), and the RRs say in fine print on the bottom, “Limit 1 RR per transaction.” Is it just that some clerks overlook the fine print and mine didn’t?

      • Tina M

I think that is referring to only receiving one RR if you buy more than one of the same product in your transaction, not on spending the RR

    • Lucy

I went to Walgreens around 12:30 am and purchased the Accu-chek aviva. I handed them the $10.00 manufacturer coupon as well as the $5.00 store coupon found in the diabetes and you booklet. However, I did not receive a $5.00 register reward as stated on the weekly ad. One of the store managers told me that the register rewards have changed and that the system will not allow a register reward to print if I paid $0.00 for the item. I’m troubled by this since the ad doesn’t specify that you need to spend x amount to receive the register reward. Also, the ad states coupons are found in Sunday newspaper. Has anyone had this experience today? I’ve submitted an email to Catalina and I am awaiting their response.

      • Katrina

I tried to do the Bayer Deal earlier this month (or maybe last month) and the RR did not print. The manager presumed it was because I paid $0 for it. He said that since the RR is initiated by the manufacturer perhaps they had figured out how to prevent it printing if you paid no money. I don’t know if he was right, but I returned it and don’t intend to try that plan again. I think I’ll save my Bayer coupons for CVS.

        • Tina M

I purchased the Accucheck Aviva today using the 2 Q’s you used and I did receive the $5 RR. Catalina company should send you one in the mail, but in my experience it takes several weeks to get it.

      • Courtney

if that was true (and of course it isn’t) i would give up shopping at wags. i pay close to $0 for most things i buy. i have never had a problem getting a RR for a freebie. i would guess that the catalina machine hadn’t switched to sunday’s ad quite yet.

    • Sean

I don’t know how it relates, but when I purchased the Blink Tears, I recieved a coupon for a free box of Tampax Pearl. It was the only thing I purchased.

      • Tina M

I didn’t get a catalina when I purchase mine, but I did find a buy one get one free double pack of the Blink tears that gave me my RR, so be on the lookout for the twin pack!

      • I received a catalina for $1 off on any 2 count or larger Thermacare when I bought the Thermacare RR deal. Expires 4/25/10.

    • Maximus

The Joint Juice campaign appears to have ended – no more BOGO printables!

    • mandy

Has anyone had luck with the Bayer coupons? I’m wondering if I sld just save my for CVS, also.

      • San

I purchased the Bayer meters this morning and I got the $10RR for each one I purchased in Greer, SC. No problems at all. However, I did have problems with the Accu Chek Aviva coupons, but the manager in Taylors on Wade Hampton manually put the manufactor’s coupon in. So, I got $35RR today and paid .90 cents tax for each one.

    • Sloan

I know some folks have had trouble rolling RR at Walgreens. I don’t often do this, but I had a cashier ringing me last week and he told me something interesting…. If you use your debit card to pay for a purchase and get RR, the computer will “remember” and if you try to get the deal again during the week, even if not paying with the original RR you received, it will not give them to you again, if you pay with the same card. So, have cash in hand.

      • Ginger

Hey, that is fascinating information. If true, you just solved a lot of Wags problems for a lot of people. Makes me tempted to buy a bunch of stuff to test it out. Thanks! :)

      • I didn’t know this as well but my RR’s printed every time for me when I used my dedit card for the Electrasol deals awhile back.

      • joanne

It never seems to amaze me what people are told about the RR’s. I have always used my debit card in multiple transaction at the same time and have never had that problem. Today I did 4 and got all the rr’s back, using one to pay for the other. So I think I would blow that theory out of the water!

        • LD

I have used my debit card for the same item . Once one right after another 5 times lol. My bank called me to make sure Walgreens didnt do something wrong to have 1.67 come out of my acct 5 times in 3 minutes lol. I got an rr each and every time. I think it was on the Neosorin lip deal or the bandiad one a while back . Yes the RR thing is so confusing and all the manager at my closest store will say is you are using to many coupons. Even if I have 3 coupons [total wags and manf] and 5 items lol.. and no rr used .

    • Bethany

I did the Accucheck, used the $10 and $5 coupons and my RR DID print. Not sure why some have not.

    • Bob

The salsa and dips are ringing up 2.99 instead of 2.00 as stated. If you use 3 of the Buy two chips and get a dip for free your transaction will look like this and still print the $10 RR

      6 Tostitos – $12.00
      3 Dips – 8.97
      Total – 20.97
Use 3 buy 2 chips get free dip coupons
Use 3 $1 off when you buy one chip and dip
      pay $9 plus tax
      Get back $10 RR
Like having a $1 Money maker!

      • lynn

where are you finding the buy 2 chips, get a dip free coupon at?

        • Sue

I found these Q’s on a tearpad at Publix.

    • Courtney

had a great trip at wags this morning! paid just under $2 oop total for all 6 transactions!!!! i’m psyched about the profit i made! here’s what i got:

4 bayer meters – used up to $30 off q and got them free
      2 accucheck aviva meters – used $10 mfc q

      • Courtney

not sure what happened…here is the rest:

on the accucheck i used the wags $5 q also
        1 joint juice
        3 vitamin lip balms
2 scalpicin – i had the $1 q, but there were $1.50 peelies on the boxes!!!
        2 blink tears (actually 4) – used $1.50 IP b/c i didn’t have my papers yet
****note – there are blink tears 2-packs that say B1G1 free and work for the RR, got them today!****
        10 starbucks ice cream pints – used (10) $1 mfc q’s
4 sticker books (for fillers and b/c DD loves them!)
        4 sunday newspapers

i still have $50 in RR left and i went in with only (2) $5 Huggies RR.

this was fun and i am excited to go back and get some other sales later this week.

      • Shandrika

Did you use 4 coupons for the bayer & 2 for the accucheck? Did your RR print for each of these?

        • Courtney

yep! used (4) up to $30 off bayer meter q’s and used the $10 accu-check and the $5 wags accu-check each time. got all my RR’s! i was excited to spend $0 and get $50 in RR!

          • Courtney

unfortunately, my wags only had 2 accu-check meters. i have at least 12 more $10 accu-check q’s that i could use, but the wags q expires today.

    • leslie

I am having trouble printing the ThermaCare Heat Wrap coupons. I was able to register and it sent me to the page telling me to wait, the coupon would be at the printer, but it never printed. Any ideas? Thanks!

      • Could it be your firewall? I had the same issue when I was printing from my husbands computer. There was like an invisible window that popped up and after messing with it a few seconds it finally printed.

    • Rose

Bertolli is 5.99 at walgreens this week I tinhk some of our coupons will be expiring pretty soon. Should I use them here or wait?

      • joanne

I think you should wait unless you need them desperately. I’ve paid about 3.00/1 before, and its very likely that a sale will come up again in the future and also the coupons.

      • Tina M

They are on sale for $4.00 at BiLo if there is a store near you.

        • Tina M

          Sorry, typo, $4.99 at BiLo

    • April – Florida

I had a SUPER time at Wags this morning getting the Bayer and Accu-check meters, and all the other freebies. I bought a paper as a filler and was surprised to see the Blink q so that made me more happier. I was flying high until I said to the clerk that I missed the free deodorant and razors last week and that is when the clerk said “oh we don’t take internet printed q’s any more and if an item is bogo we no longer take a bogo q.” I could of fell over in shock. This was at my favorite wags and all employees know me by name. The clerk also told me that “district” sent out an email telling employees that they are not allowed to give the RR’s for items that totaled zero like the meters, but they would make an exception since I am ALWAYS in the store and then know me so well. She said it is because of people getting the rr’s and then returning the items. GGGRRRRRRR. I spend around 8.00 and I have $88.00 rr’s to use. Not a bad shopping day and I will have an even better shopping day when I use the $88.00 rr’s at Publix.

      • Smita

you can use Walgreens register rewards at Publix?

        • Angel in Charleston

Yes. Register Rewards are actually manufacturer coupons, as stated on the top of the RR. Publix accepts them no problem – sometimes entering as a competitor coupon (even though I tell them it is not a competitor, but a manufacturer Q), and sometimes just scanning it in. Depends on the cashier.

    • Elizabeth

Ok, so here is a scenario… There is a $4 wags Q in the ad this week, and I still have a $2 MQ for an 80 ct Aleve… Anyone know the retail value of the aleve? If it’s a reasonable price, I may go ahead and get this… $6 off seems like it would be a pretty good deal… any thoughts?

    • Just got back from my wags!!! I feel so bad for all the people with bad customer service!!! I live in a small town and have gotten to know a few of the cashiers. I bought 5 of the Accucheck meters. They had to adjust the manufact. coupon down to $9.99. But I paid $0.75 for 5 meters and got back $25 in RR. So I think that was pretty awesome :)

    • Ros

coupon problems at WAGS…. RR first, then manuf. coupons, then the WAGS coupons… works every time…
Where are you finding the blink coupons? Got 3 papers and no coupons, but got the double pack of blink and the 8 RR…

      • Delanna

Tried that today with the Blink items and they told me I couldn’t use 2 coupons for the same item even though the 1st was a RR and then the 2.00 coupon. Very frustrating

        • LD

If you had a filler item for the rr to attach to and the cashier still said this , you should not use that cashier any more .Find a new store or check out at a diffrent register or go in on a diffrent time of day .
If you did not have a filler item for the RR to attach to the cashier was right . It would have been nice if they said throw in a small item and it will work .
I have a store that wont refuses to take my wags coupons if I dont had then over fist . As we all know lots of deals and coupons wont work this way . uggg . Walgreens is frustrating . Wish they would not have weeks like this lol. Then I would not get suckered in again .

    • Stephani

I am a TOTAL newbie. I have never done the great big scenario’s before, but I would love to do this one. Can someone please email me
out of the goodness of your couponing heart :) and tell me what to do.
Do I purchase each deal separately? Use the RR on the next part of the deal? etc.. I would so truly appreciate it!!!! Beyond words.

      Thanks

      Stephanie

      janeausten1231@yahoo.com

      • LD

If you go to the top of the page under the getting started page you will see lots of great info. Including a Walgreens how to . BUt keep in mind that these may and may not work depending on the cashier and or manager in at the time or even the store .

      • Courtney

it really depends on what coupons you have already. what are you wanting to buy? which deals do you want to do?

    • Tiffany

Can you use the $1.00 off any Scotch tape manufacturer coupon that came in the Publix yellow advantage circular?

      • Kelley

I used it yesterday no problem. I found another one in my stack tonight and will be getting more tape tomorrow.

    • Leah

Fun times at my Wags Saturday – just had to share. The weather was kind of yucky – very cold and damp with freezing in the forecast. I only needed a b-day card for my neice and wanted to get the Pert shampoo deal, so headed out for a quick trip to Wags before the weather got worse (which it never really did). They were having some promotion where if you purchased one of the 2 new perfumes they were showcasing you got a little bag full of samples, coupons, and goodies. Since the weather was bad, they hadn’t had much store traffic, and no one was buying the overpriced perfume. The cashier from cosmetics saw me with my little coupon book and asked if I used coupons…of course I said yes. She proceeded to GIVE me one of the goodie bags and told me she’d have more waiting at the front when I checked out. I went to check out and she had 2 more in a bag for me. I was so excited to get home and see what was in them…in total I got 60 SAMPLES and 48 MANU Qs for items like Aveeno, Garnier, Revlon, Neutrogena, Sally Hansen, and tons others (I can’t even remember them all). It was AWESOME!!!!! =)

      • Wow, that was very nice of her. Which Wags store was this?

    • Sue

I found these on a tearpad at Publix.

    • Ren

I purchased the blink eyes for $7.99 -$1.50 coupon and it printed out a 8 Walgreens Reward. I then purchased $20 worth of Pepsi Products and the cashier said that I could NOT use the $8 Register Rewards from the Blink Eyes on the Pepsi because then the $10 Register Reward for the Pepsi would not print out because it would not be $20 anymore. Was she correct? I thought Walgreen’s policy was similar to CVS. Someone please help.

      • Tina

It is my understanding that unless the RR is from the same item or company then you would get your RR. Am I wrong?

        • denielle

you would have received the 10RR. i have done this many times! the cashiers are often wrong. if it doesn’t print i return the product!

Walgreens is one of my favorites!!

    • Val

Mike was fiddling with the TV, so… i went shopping to CVS & Walgreens, I went to 2 CVS-I got some makeup last nite, so i went back today-75% off & I had L’oreal & Revlon Qs. Got quite a bit

then I went to Walgreens, did 2 transactions , this is what I got:

      3 Royal Gelatin with Q $5/1.00 (fillers)

1 Blink for dry eyes 7.99

      1 Zicam (cold sores) 10.00

      5 Lady Speed Stick Deodorant @ $1.00

used $3.00 Q Zicam (on package)

Wags Q for the Royal 1.40

5 @ .50 cents Q for the Lady Speed Stick

      2.00 Q printed for Blink

      10.00 RR

      6.00 RR

      paid .44 cents OOP!!

received $7.00 RR for Zicam & 8.00 RR for Blink

      2nd Transaction

      2 Royal Gelatin (fillers)

      Joint Juice $10.00

      2 Advil @ 4.49

Used Wags Q for Royal .98

      2 @ 2.00 Q for Advil

      8.00 RR

      7.00 RR

      Total paid .38 cents

received 10.00 RR for Joint Juice & 5.00 for Advil

I finally “get” Wags, I find that its easier if I write what the RR is from on the RR, so that I will not waste it.

    • Elizabeth

when i tried to print the $5 off of $20, it took me to a riteaid site instead. help?

    • Ros

About the cashier asking for the WAGS coupons first… That is the same thing that happened to me, but the last coupon I had did not work… So I explained to him about the order of the coupons. We returned it all with the manager, and re rang everything and it worked, just as I said it would, with the RR first, then the manuf. coupons, then the WAGS coupons… 10 items, 10 coupons, even if it is a .12 item… works every time.
(wish I had found the blink coupons sooner, did that deal twice w/o the coupons.. hate that..)

    • MAC

When I click on the Walgreens $5 off for $20 spent coupon, it takes me to the Rite Aid page. Am I doing something wrong? Does Walgreens take Rite Aid coupons?

Also, several of the coupon links don’t seem to be working today. (L’Oreal $1 Skincare, Nature Made Triple Flex)

    • Cathy

      50c Keebler Club Crackers!
Keebler Club crackers are as low as 50c a box at Walgreens this week.
      They are on sale 2/$5
There are coupoons for $1 off one box (in Sunday’s Parade magazine)
Use 2 of those to bring total to $3
Then, there is a $2 RR for buying them
This makes them $1 for 2 boxes (or 50c each) after coupons & RR.

      • meg

The $1 coupons in our Parade were for $1 off cans of Chili when you buy Club – did you get something different?

        • Cathy

I guess it was another regional coupon. I am in the central part of NC. My coupons were for $1 off Any size Keebler crackers. I used them at Walgreens last night for the deal I mentioned.

    • Amy Cole

Where is the Just My Size Q? Cannot find it anywhere!

    • michele

Wags is so confusing, and I am doing my best to navagate their system, I went in the other night to get a few things and use RR, I bought the zicam, and some chips etc, doing 2 transactions, completely forgetting that only 1 rr will print, I bought 3 of the vitamin schtick, and it only printed one rr, the casheir apologized and said she didn’t realize they were RR items, anyway, the manager just re rang them and handed me the other 2 rr’s and just mentioned next time to remember that only one will print per transaction, he was very nice about it.

    • James

I was just wondering how the OOP on Joint Juice was zero. Wouldnt it be 10 dollars? I understand you get 10 RR, which basically makes it free, but I wasn’t sure what was making it zero. I have several of the bogo coupons and was just trying to clarify this before I make my trip. Thanks.

    • tara

Anyone have a prob using the joint juice b1g1 coupon. I used the coupon and it didn’t print the $10 RR. The cashier said they did something to the computer system so the RR wouldn’t print with the b1g1 coupon. Anyone else have this happen????

    • SouthernSavers

We are implementing a new comment system and will have the old comments from before Wednesday night loaded soon… thanks for understanding.

    • Noella

Hi, I have a question I hope someone can answer. On the blink product can I buy 2 at the same time and get the rr of 16 dollars. Also if I can will it give me one 16 dollar one or 2 8 dollar ones? Thanks

      • Summer

You can only earn one register reward deal at Walgreens per transaction (of the same promotion.) You can earn multiple rewards per transaction, but not of the same kind. Make sense?? LOL. Anyway, CVS allows more than one similar reward per transaction, but not Wags :)

        • Noella

          Thanks so much.

        • jodisue1

Yep, I found that out on the Vitamin Schtick stuff. But hey, they just did seperate transactions for me!

          • Noella

Well good news and bad news. I am still new with this register reward deal and in doing so I think I made a big boo boo (actually hubbys fault) I hope that can be fixed. On the blink thing I seperated them as needed but because hubby distracted me while I was doing doing the second transaction I used the blink RR. It wasn't until after we left the store that I realized I didn't get the second RR and realized why Any way to fix this or am I eating a big dose of learning soup.On the good note I did great until then.

            • avenlee

              You can always return it.

            • Noella

Thanks for the idea. What would happen with the register rewards if I return it and get another one?

            • Anne

Just return the one you didn't get your rewards for and then buy another one with a new transaction. As long as you don't use your RR that you got back from the first one another one will print.

    • tammynelson

Does anyone know if the Pepsi promotion still includes Stacy's pita chips? It did last week, but they are not listed on the ad this week.

      • jhoran

No. Just what's in the flyer. I was going to do the deal again when I noticed the changes in the ad.

      • LaDora

The stand alone display with all the items at our store, lists Stacy's pita chips as a participating product. This was a month long deal (ending 2/6), and there were just certain weeks where some things went on sale. Just because it isn't in the flyer doesn't mean that they aren't included. They are, however, regular price, not on sale. The regular price at my store is 2/$6 or $3.29 each. I still have 20 coupons to use, so will probably be doing this deal sometime before saturday.

    • courtney_80

going to hit up Wags again tomorrow. i still have more $2 blink q's to use and $1 scalpicin also. then i noticed that the demet's turtles 7 oz were on sale 2/$5. i have a bunch of $1 mfc q's, so i'm going to work those in, too. after RR, everything will be free! plan to use the turtles for valentine's gifts.

    • Anna

I've been CVS'ing for a while, but today was my first try at the Walgreens RR deal and I made out like a bandit!! I got the Bayer Contour glucose meter, Axe shower gel, and 2 of the new Sensodyne toothpastes and only spent $3! I love it!

    • Mary

For example, if I did your scenario
      Buy:
      (1) Blink Tears $7.99
      (1) Scalpicin Wipes $5.99
      (1) Valentines Tumbler 17¢
      Use:
-$2 off Blink Tears RP 1/31
-$1 off Scalpicin printable (IE) or printable (FF)
      -$10 RR
      -in ad coupon for tumbler
      Total Due: $1.15
      Get Back: $14 RR ($8, $6)

I WOULD actually have to pay money and then get the RR right? What is the OOP on this deal. I have not done and RR yet? I'm so confused! LOL

      • Ginger

Okay, so if you have no register rewards to start with, you would pay quite a bit OOP on this deal, $11.15 plus tax. Of course, you don't really need the valentines tumbler, as it's just a filler item- Jenny was using it to allow her to use the RR, which counts as a coupon. You could just buy the first 2 items, pay 10.98 plus tax OOP, and get back the 14$ RR.
However, if you're like most of us, you want to limit your OOP expense, so maybe you want to start with just one RR deal. Ex:
        Trans 1:
        Buy 1 scalpicin at 5.99
        use 1 Q 1.00 off
        pay $4.99 plus tax– OOP
        Get back 6$ RR

        Trans 2:
Buy 1 Blink Tears at 7.99
Buy 1 Valentines Tumbler at .17 (This is your filler item, to let you use your RR)
Use $2.00 off Blink Tears Q
        Use in-ad coupon for tumbler
Use $6 RR from previous transaction
        Pay .16 plus tax OOP
        Get back 8$ RR

This way you pay only $5.15 plus tax OOP, and you have 8$ RR to start next week with.

        HTH

    • Amy

I'm having a hard time finding the Just My Size coupon. Can anyone help?
      Thanks,
      Amy

    • georgiapeach48

Did anyone else just get a code to use on online from Joint Juice for their own store? The did not send me a coupon.

    • georgiapeach48

Did anyone else have problems with the Joint Juice Coupon? I registered, did their survey, and then they sent me a code for 50% of to use at the online store. No coupon.

      • Stellerina

Mine did the same thing. =(

    • tammynelson

At my Walgreens the Tostitos dips are not listed in the ad, and they ring up full price.

      • LaDora

They are full price, however, they still count towards the spend $20, get $10 promotion, from what I have read, and from what's listed on the stand alone display at my store. If you have the “Buy 2 tostito's chips, get 1 salsa/dip free” tearpad, you can get 6 bags chips and 3 salsa's for $2.00 (assuming you have $10 in RR to use) and get back another $10 RR. Wags is where we are getting the chips/dips/pop for our Superbowl party. Can't beat these prices!!! :)

    • Brooke

Just wanted to say that I found the 8 pack Lever 2000 bar soap to be cheaper this week at Kroger ($4.49 at my store). I had a .75 off coupon, so I paid less than $4 for it!

      • lrose57

where did you find the tearpad for the buy 2 get 1 salsa free? I only have the .55 cents off the tostitoes and dip….

    • courtney_80

thought i'd give you guys a heads up!

2 of the 4 scalpicin wipes i purchased today had FREE 60 minute phone cards in them! i have already activated them both and they work. you just have to complete a short online survey or you can do it over the phone. i wish i would have know this prior to my purchase, i would have checked the boxes to find the ones with cards in them first. the box says nothing about a free phone card or anything. it is a small card (about 1 x 4) and has Scalpicin 60 minute phone card on one side and directions for use on the other.

thought some of you might still be headed to wags for the deals this weekend and may want to be on the lookout for the free phone cards. good luck!

    • Noella

Hi fellow couponers. I wanted to give everyone a heads up on the accucheck. I bought one and the refund card is expired. I had already filled all the info out and on the very bottom I saw the small print. It is the one advertised for 14.99,the refund card says it had to be purchased by the end of dec 09.I brought it back to walgreens with the card and they gave me a refund.

    • Angela

Walgreen stores that have a clinic will be doing free blood glucose screenings for diabetes on Friday Feb 5th 11am-7pm

    • Noella

My second dilemma today is for you RR and ECB pros. I hope I can run 2 deals I want to do and see if you can tell me if it will work. First hubby works for walgreens so ED means employee discount. Deal 1-joint juice-8.50-ED
      lip stick -1.69-ED
      eggs .84-ED
      total-11.03
can I use an 8RR and a3RR or would I need a filler of some sort.I also did this figuring a bottle of pepsi so the total would be 11.25. The second deal is also close with the total being 10.43 and I have an 8RR and a 2RR. Thanks

Depends on which paper you buy. The local paper for the 2 small towns on either side of me don't have the red plum inserts, but if I buy the Tennessean, it's in there
