Prilosec MIR expired on the 15th. I know that because I missed that part when I bought it at Rite Aid today. When I went to print the form I saw that it expired. There goes that $25. Ugh!
Just wanted you all to know so that you don't make the same mistake I did.

    • Fran

      Prilosec $25 rebate is over.

    • nancy

couldn't make the coupon download for 5 kleenex respond. Any tips?

    • Jameyh9479

just curious, what kind of filler item can you buy for $.05?

      • RebeccaFer

You'd be surprised. Check the discount area for pencils and such. :)

    • Cindersand1024

Hi. Do you know how long the spend $100 get $20 +UP is going to run till?

      • Yuliyaporter

It's not in Walgreens, that is a Ride aid deal :))

      • Bamasaver

That particular Rite Aid promo runs through Feb. 26th.

    • Jennifer

is there a limit to the RR like the ECB at CVS?

      • Apetterson

Yes and no… It will continue to print RR as often as you care to purchase the product IN SEPARATE TRANSACTIONS. They don't have limits like CVS has, nor do they keep track of how many RR's you get.

        • Jennifer

          thanks!

    • sarah

is the clorox fb coupon still available? I “liked” them, but then couldn't find it?!

    • Denise

I had an issue last week with the purchase of the Nyquil/Dayquil products (spend 20 get 10 RR). The first transaction went fine and I got my 10RR and then I did a second transaction but no RR printed. Is there a trick I need to know because I would like to do more than one transaction on the tampons and hair bands this week??

      • Jen

The only thing is you can't pay with a register reward that is the same as the one you want to get again. So, if you did the Nyquil/Dayquil once, and then tried to do it again paying with the $10RR you just received, a new RR would not print. Hope that helps!

        • Denise

          Thank you!!

      • Christilambert

I had an issue as well. The manager thought that it was because I should have bought the 20ct boxes listed as being on sale but since it was 10 back for spending 20, I think it was because I got the BABY vapor rub instead of regular? He was really nice, tried to ring it with the larger boxes, got the 10rr, and gave it to me :)

      • Dentbonnie

If you use the 10RR to go towards the same purchased items it will not give you the 10RR again.

      • jhoran

If you used the 10 RR for another vicks transaction, you would not get back another 10 RR …… you have to use RR's from a different manufacturer.

    • Hb

I don't understand how the Axe deal works. If the sale is for B1G one 50% off but I have a coupon for B1G1… uhhh, what??? Do I pay for one and get 2? Or pay for none and get 2? Or pay for one and get one free and one 50% off? I don't get how these combine…

      • CouponNERD

I believe that all you will pay is tax, and get two free…

        • Razlmz

No, you will only get 2 free if it is B1G1 plus a B1G1 coupon. But the sale is B1G1 50% off.

      • Jennydh

With the B1G05% off and a B1G1 Free coupon you would get 2 for the cost of 50% of one. You would be paying for 1 item & 1/2 half for second item without the coupon. The Coupon would take the full priced item cost away. Leaving you to pay for the half priced item.

        • Katie

be careful though, with the B1G1 coupons they have to manually enter the price of the item, since one rings up at full price and one at half price they will often take the lower price item free- depends on your cashier. this happened to me at RA last week with a B1G150% and a B1G1 coupon

    • The Pepsi products are 2 for $9, not 2 for $7

    • Clumsythestral

I am also confused on the Axe deal. I thought you would pay 50% for one item and the other would be free, right? The only way you'd get both free is if the sale was B1G1 and you used a B1G1 coupon. Anyone have experience with this?

      • Mandy

The way I understand it, is that it's Buy One, Get One 1/2 off. Therefore, you pay for 1 at full price, and get the other for a discount at 50% off.
If you use the B1G1 coupon, you will be getting the discounted Axe for free, only paying for 1. I would save the coupon for a true B1G1 deal…

    • Thesmithsofop

On the Pampers deal, one coupon is for $2 off and is a Walgreens coupon from the Infant CAre book so you should be able to stack the $2 off manufacturer coupon with it to get them at $2.99 after RR.

    • Bethanyischeap

My Walgreens will only let you use one coupon for each item, including in-ad coupons. Also, the Register Rewards count as a coupon at my stores. This makes it really hard to use them, because most of the things I buy already have their own coupon. Does anyone else have this problem?

      • jhoran

That's because you have to buy a cheap filler item in order to use the RR…….eg. the item could be knee-highs which is .25 and you have a RR for 5.00, so deduct the .25 from the reward and you will have 4.75 left which will go towards the balance of your purchase. hth

        • Luvspugs

Lol…I have been using all of my knee highs to tie up plants in my garden!!!

      • jhoran

the in-ad coupons don't count as coupons as long as you don't have a coupon for the item, so say the item in ad cost .50, and you have a 5 RR, deduct .50 and you will have 4.50 now to put towards your purchase. This is called “stacking”

      • Amy

You should be able to use a maanufacturer's coupon along with an in-ad coupon. Most people buy a small filler item, such as the 20 cent Royal Gelatin this week if they need to use a Register Reward in addition to coupons. I would talk to the manager about the manu and in-ad coupons. You should be able to use both. HTH

      • Nursehendren

I would print out their coupon policy and show it to the manager. It clearly states that you can use a store coupon and a manufacture coupon for one item. RR do count as a coupon so just use a small filler Item that are posted above.

      • Car3fan

definitely print out the coupon policy to take with you. on a recent $5 RR if you bought $30 of product promotion, the store manager tried to tell me that my total had to be a net of $30 after i used my coupons in order to receive the $5 rr. He even asked me if i knew what “net” meant. (???) . i politely asked him where that was written in the coupon policy that i had in my binder. of course, my RR printed out like clockwork.

    • Tlhfgirl

      Does anyone know…
If I buy an olay body wash and use the coupon [buy (1)olay wash get (1) olay complete moisturizer free] can I use a coupon on the olay moisturizer as well? I would think it would except it if I gave the single coupon before the bogo coupon but i just dont know?

      • Lil Bit2005

target has a clearance deal right now i bought a 23.6 oz olay body wash that came with a travel size sample shrink wrapped to it for 4.66. i was able to use both of my coupons on the single one ( buy one olay body wash get a free secret deodorant)(buy one olay body wash get a free moisturizer)

    • Heather M.

I don't know if anybody caught this on the Pampers, but the coupon in the Infant Care walgreens book is a store q…so you can use it ($2 off) plus the mafr.q and get $2RR makes it $2.99 each! YAY!

      • Nursehendren

Where do you get the infant care booklet? I was thinking the same thing…

        • Thesmithsofop

If they don't have it in the store they can put in the coupon code as long as you know what it is (5521).

          • Lzbacnik

Thank you, I am going to try this

    • Speedoflight

Can you use 2 coupons in a BOGO offer like you can in FL Publix?

      • Chajo53

my walgreen will not let you use a Q on the free on in a B1G1 deal…

        • Carra

Walgreen's has an official coupon policy. You can print it above or at the Walgreen's web site. The official coupon policy states that you CAN use 2 coupons on a BOGO deal. You need to print the coupon policy and show it to your Walgreen's.

    • Bethany

I'm really beginning to get fed up with Walgreens. I've been able to score some amazing deals but it just seems that they RR aren't printing like they should. This past Monday I went in and purchased the Skintimate & Reach Floss plus a few more insignificant items. The total came to $10.44. I used a $7 RR from the week before and tried to use a $3 but it wouldn't take the $3 so I paid cash. However, it didn't print either of my RR's that I should have received for the two items listed above. I checked to make sure that the RR's that I was using was not the same manufacturer as what I was purchasing but still no-go! I was not a happy camper. I guess from now on, I'll do separate transactions and only use my RR's on transactions that won't be producing anymore RR's. Any other suggestions?

      • Nursehendren

What was your total before tax? If it was under $10 I don't think they would let you use the coupon?

        • Bethany

Someone behind me did mention the fact that it could be tax, now that you mention it. I’m going again tomorrow, so we’ll see.

      • The Starr

Whenever yoiu go to Walgreens you have to buy as many products as you have coupons. So if you had two items you did buy more items with this transcations.
Sometimes you have to buy a filler to cover the taxes so that you can use the reward. I often buy an item more than 1.00, then use my RR and have her take off the 1.00 item. It works every time. Hope this helps

        • Bethany

I’m aware of the #’s of coupons vs. # of items. I’ve had to count and recount on several occasions to be sure that I had enough of everything so that everything went smoothly. On this trip, I believe I had five items and four coupons, one of which was the RR that it wouldn’t let me use. I now think this had to do with sales tax as was mentioned below, but I’m still at a loss as to why my other RR’s didn’t print.

      • Couponshandy

See my scenario listed above but I agree with you – something isn't right with Wags. I am sortof wondering if their computer is purposely not printing RR's when you earn them. They draw you in thinking you might get a good deal- and sometimes you do – but not always. The mgr I spoke to this AM was very nice and she was really trying to help me figure it out, but no one really knows. That's why I am wondering if there really is no explanation, if the mgr's can't figure it out either! I am cpnsidering signing off on wags because of the inconsistencies.

        • Shopohollic11

Personally I love Walgreens!!! But it's really their system(s) they are switching over from what I understand to make shopping easier and more efficient. But for me with my store and with the company I have experienced more consistencies than inconsistencies. Like I said in a post earlier they go above and beyond, and to allow us to do multiple transactions is an advantage, because it is at the discretion of the store manager, but the managers at the store I shop if the Register Reward doesn't print out you don't leave that store until you are satisfied.

      • Shopohollic11

I don't know how it is at your Walgreens, but my Walgreens is more than happy to rig it so it will print the register rewards that did not come out. It could a number of reasons why they didn't print their registers have to update themselves, and I know at my store they had to reset the all once because no Register Rewards were printing, and afterwards redid the transactions, and they came out. So just ask to speak to a manager I would say. But if your store allows you to do the transactions separately then go for it, but it is at the discretion of the store manager to allow multiple transactions many people don't know that. Hopefully this helps, but if your store is as awesome as mine they will go above and beyond to help you out. My store is very coupon friendly.

    • not sure but i think if you used an in- ad q w/ a filler item it might defeat the purpose of the filler item???

      • Nursehendren

in ad q's don't count in the coupon count.?

        • Gracie

Yes as far as I know they DO count!

          • Carra

No, In Ad Qs do not count toward the coupon count. My sister works at Wags so I'm 100% sure of this.

    • Nursehendren

Where do I find the infant care booklet?

      • Laurel

Same quiestion from me! I went last week to the store and asked the manager, and he had never heard of it.

        • Same thing here in Simpsonville, SC. I asked about the infant care books and they said they'd never heard or seen of them. WAGS needs to get their it shay together. ;)

          • Gracie

They had them at the cosmetics counter at my Wags. The cashier handed me a huge stack of them when I asked about them. I was telling her my friends here couldn't find them. She said HERE take them and give them away.. I 'm tired of them sitting here. So, if anyone wants any let me know. I listed on the Wag's post for last week the list of coupons inside the booklet.

      • Galveston 2000

I called wlg customer help line-they said had had many inquirys abt it but they didn't have a clue-said would have someone call me in 48 hrs!!!! havn't heard

      • Crain_99

In last weeks posting. Someone posted that if you did'nt have the infant coupon booklet, if you got the code from the coupon some managers may allow the cashier to enter the code.

        • Crain_99

I live in Michigan and my store had plenty of infant care books. And the coupons don't expire until the end of the year.

      • Thesmithsofop

My store called around and got the codes since they were unable to find the booklet.

    • Couponshandy

I went to walgreens today and bought the arnicare – it was posted a few weeks ago and continues. the deal is you pay 5.99 for it and get 5.99 back in RR's. I used a 1.50 off q (I found in the box of a previous arnicare purchase) – but it did NOT give me the RR's this time? Anyone know why? I am totally confused, this seems to always happen at Wags. The manager wasn't 100% sure why it happened but she thinks it is because the q brought the item price down but I use q's all the time….she also mentioned if you look in the Wags circular – they have “sale prices” and “our price” items with RR's. She thinks maybe the “sale price” items only give you RR's if you pay the actual sale price and don't use q's. Something just doesn't seem right. Anyone know how to explain it?

      • BritEmmaInFlorida

Hi I have had a similar thing before with Walgreens, it appears that if you use a manufactureres coupon towards the item it cancels the rr, also happens if you use the rr you got for the first arnicare to then use towards buying another one it will cancel the second rr. Hope this helps – thing to do save the coupons for another time!!!

        • Couponshandy

I didn't use RR's from a previous arnicare purchase – I have made that mistake before :-) But I shop there with q's all the time so I just don't know why this time was different.

          • DoggieMama

The cashier at our Walgreens said that it's something relatively new, sometimes the RR won't print out if you use a coupon. Not everything, just somethings…but the cashiers don't know which deals will do this.

      • Wdra0632

The same thing happened with me this week when I bought a Reach tooth brush, used a $1 off q and no rr. They said that if you use a coupon no rr. So tired of WAGS and their ever changing rules, CVS and RA rock!!!!

      • shopoholic11

The system won't print a Register Reward if you use the Arnicare coupon in the box. I know someone who works there and for the life of us when we were in there we couldn't figure out why it didn't print it. I did do a transaction without using the coupon and got one so it's not anything the cashier is doing the system is just totally screwed up when it comes to that coupon.

        • Clumsythestral

I used the coupon in the box about 4 times (separate purchases) and the RR printed out every time.

      • Jmk4hrm

During this past month I purchased many tubes of arnicare, used a coupon each time (no arnicare RRs), and always received the $6 RR at check-out.

        • Jmk4hrm

Oh, and I used both the printable coupon and the coupon in the box. (not at the same time of course)

          • Jmk4hrm

Was it the only item you purchased and did you pay with RRs? You need to purchase the same number of items as MC (including RRs) for the deals to work.

            • Gracie

AND most importantly you CANNOT pay for it with Arnicare RR from previous purchases or it will NOT print the new ones. You always have to pay for things with different RR's or they will not print. Say you buy the Arnicare, you can use RR's from a DIFFERENT product and it should still print them even it that is the only item you buy. How many coupons u use does not make a difference when it comes to PRINTING the RR's. It makes a difference on how many RR's you can use to pay for the Arnicare. You must have one item for each and every coupon and each and every RR you use!

      • Tedhead0000

I bought some Arnicare today and used the 1.50 off coupon too that, and my 6 RR printed.
It must have been their catalina machine was messed up or you used the same RR to pay??

      • Jme9190

You need to make sure their system isn't resetting. I went and none of my RR printed. The cashier tried to tell me it was because I used Q's and RR (None of which were for what I was buying this time). I had her get the manager who explained I should have received them but their system goes down sometimes. Try waiting about 15 minutes, you should hear the machine resetting and then have the manager fix it for you.

    • BritEmmaInFlorida

Can I ask just went to print the RepHresh coupon for Sunday and it allowed me to print off as many as I wanted – if I use them on separate transcations is this ok?

      • Bamabobbie

Yes you can and need to do seperate trans to get your RR's back. Just don't use the RR on the next trans or you won't get another RR.

        • BritEmmaInFlorida

Thank you! Time to stock up!!!!

      • Clumsythestral

I used 5 of those coupons this morning (separate transactions, of course, to get my five RR's) and it worked perfectly. I'm stocked up for a while!

    • rachel

Great deal on motts apple juice 1.67 , free tampons, deodrant and cheap laundry soap. Maybe some hunts tomato sauce for me.

      • Carra

The Hunt's tomato sauce coupon won't work for this size. The coupon states 11 oz and up and these are 8 oz

    • rachel

      my plan
      tran 1 three dove deodrant
      1 rephresh tampon
      1 dawn soap
      total 5 plus tax
      tran 2
      2 purex 3 in 1
      1 goody elastics
      pay with 5 from tran1

      tran 3
two purex 3 in 1 and a jello
      20 cents plus tax

      could do a tran 4 of 1 apple juice 1 7up and 1 goody
could do tran 5 two purex or another tampon
this scenario's r for my mom since I have spent my budget for wags and don't use tampons.

    • JMM

This may seem like a silly question, but how do I print the manufacturer coupons???

      • Gracie

not all of the manufacturer coupons listed above are printable. If you see PRINTABLE beside the coupon listed then click on that link.. it's usually in blue. Depending on what coupon site it is it will take you to a coupon print page then you click on print. Sometimes the coupon site will have to download software if you don't have it to print the coupon. Once you download it then you can print the coupons. If you have any other questions I haven't answered just ask. :) It's easy once you the the hang of it and it's not a silly question! We all had to start somewhere!

    • Bamabobbie

If Jenny highlights in blue, printable, just click on that and it will take you where to print the coupon.

    • Chrystal_presley

does anyone know if you can use the purex 3 in 1 in an he washer

      • Srhine85

Yes, if I remember correctly, according to the back of the box, you just throw it in the tub.

      • Ashley

I have been using it in my washer. I throw it in there with my clothes and it just moves to the dryer with the clothes. I love them!

      • Carra

Yes. I have one and I've been using these for about 2 months now. They work perfectly!

    • Srhine85

The coupon she has listed under the Pamper's deal from the Walgreens Infant Care Book is actually a Walgreen's coupon. So that is a great deal for Pamper's diapers!

    • Stacielovescoupons

I thought that couldn't use 2 coupons on a B1G1 free deal at a drugstore- because they're actually B1G1 free, not just 50% off each?!?!? Ex. The Pyrex 3 n 1deal.

      • smash

Just click on the “official coupon policy” link top right & you'll have your answer:
–>When items are featured in a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net price does not go below zero for the items being purchased.<–

        • Stacielovescoupons

          Great! Thanks!!!!

    • mommyof3

I read that a lot of people complained about RR's not printing as they should. The same thing happened to me today. I got really upset, and was sure I used the right amount of q's etc. and asked the cashier to void the transaction. She called a manager who repeated the transaction at another register, and the RR's printed.Come to find out that the catalina machine at the previous register was out of paper.I felt bad for those customers who shopped there before me and got cheated on their RR's.

Where can I find the Get More From Your Pharmacy booklet? I've asked at several stores, but no one knows what I'm talking about. It has some great coupons!

      • Shanti Pena

Me too…No one here in TN where i live even heard about it..

    • Island85

My walgreen never lets me do the deal scenerios that you put out… because as they tell me part of the RR's are paying towards the tax on your purchases…Last week, I got so frustrated after spending more time trying to calculate tax i was off by 2 cents…in the end i walked out I was too steamed to try to figure it out any longer. Every time I think I got it right, I get stuck with RR's

      • Lindseywilder

Mine is the same way. If you get stuck the next time in the same situation, I think that's when you could add a really small filler item then your RR would be going towards that & not the tax.
It can be really confusing, don't give up though b/c you're saving so much $$$!

Take a filler item with you to the register. For example a packet of seeds – this week are 20 cents each (5/$1) with the IN AD Q. You can't use RR on the tax, so if you've gone over add the filler item, then use the RR. If you don't go over leave the filler item behind.
Basically like Jenny says start small, buy one item, get the RR, use that to buy another item – always making sure that you have same number of items as coupons + RR wo if 2nd item has a coupon use a filler.
If you follow these scenarios I'm not sure where you are having trouble as they don't take sales tax into account.

new to q'ing……learning quickly about Kroger. Now help with Walgreens, please

      • Marlene

    • Trdaniel07

okay how does a 3$ off make the 3 in 1 cost .99 cents, wouldnt that be just 4.99, for the purex

      • Marlene

Buy One Get One Free for 7.99 – use 2 coupons at $3 ea = 2 /$1.99 or 99cents each

        • tmg

$3 coupon not in my sunday paper, actually most of the coupons that say they are in the sunday paper from here are not in my sunday paper, its very frustrating, i even changed the zip code to 30305 and still not there….Any ideas on how I can get this coupon?? thanks

      • jhoran

You can save yourself the pain by going to cvs. They have it for 3.99 and using the 3.00 q will cost you .99 …this is a regular sale item, no ebc involved.

    • Pezcoolkat

I can't print the HPFree Tampon Coupon, is anyone else having problems with this?

      • Krisanne

yes i cant seem to be able to print it either. And i really want these :(

        • Gracie

I had trouble to first few times I tried a few days ago.. but then last night when I tried it it finally went through… I think it opened as an adobe file to print.

      • Stefluvs2sign

no problem printing it here…after you sign up you have to click on the link to print it them it will open in a PDF and you click on the printer. It is a very small coupon enlarge it.

    • Beth

Just encountered a clueless WAG manager. He scanned a printed internet coupon and it wouldn't take. He said it was because it was missing a “silvery print” that should be at the top of the coupon???? That must be some magical wand he was using – he scanned the code at the bottom of the coupon and the wand knew that something was missing at the top??? He couldn't seem to understand that what he was suggesting wasn't possible. I had another coupon, exactly the same kind of print, for another item and it scanned with no problem and no “silvery print”. I was speechless. I went to my car and brought in another coupon, cut from a magazine, and used it instead. So I got the deal and a leason in dealing politely with somebody who doesn't seem to know what they're talking about.

      • Carra

My sister works at Walgreen's and she said they have to fold the coupon to show only 1 of the bottom UPC codes before the register will scan it. If they don't fold it, the register beeps as it tries to scan both of the bottom UPCs. Next time, try that.

      • Ladybugpam

Hi Beth, I think he might be referring to the coupons you can get directly from the manufacturer(not the regular manu q's in the paper, online, etc.) I've gotten some by calling and requesting them. They must be specially printed b/c they come w/a silvery hologram-like strip at the top. They are actually pretty cool-looking!! I've never seen others like them, just the ones I've gotten direct from the manufacturers. Now we all know that manu q's come in all shapes, sizes, and styles. This manager was not familiar w/any but the rare “silvery” kind, which is definitely not cool cuz a manager should be familiar w/q's! anyways, HTH!

    • DoggieMama

Many of us have experienced some weird new problems that won't allow us to get our RR, such as using coupons on some products. Here's my scenario in question. If I use a $2 RR (from a Reach toothbrush) on the Goody Elastics, will it still print out the $2 RR? I've heard people having problems if they use a RR to pay that is the same dollar amount as the RR that is supposed to print at the end–anyone know?

      • Stefluvs2sign

My friend is a Wags manager and she said YES you are entitled to the RR's even if you use a Manufacturer coupon or if you use a RR (yes RR cannot be from same item). If the RR does not print get a manager they can either give you one from their bag of coupons they have taken from other customers for the same value or they will give you the cash. Also, the Wags coupons from their coupon booklets (not the ad) sometimes ring as manufacturer when they are in fact not manufacturer which will not allow you to stack it with a REAL manufacturer. If this happens the cashier needs to hand key the Wags coupon as a store coupon. I love my manager friend LOL

        • tlf

My Walgreens cashier said that if you use a manufacturer's coupon, even one clipped from a magazine or newspaper insert, the RR won't print. So I asked a manager if this was true, and he said, yes, the RR are not supposed to print, ever, if you use a coupon, and if they do print, it is due to “bugs” in the system that have yet to be ironed out. He also indicated that it wasn't fair to the store if someone tried to get something “free” or to make a “profit” by using a coupon and then receiving RR on top of that. I thought, Wow, I feel sorry for WAGS because their system can't compete with CVS's. There's a CVS across the street that WANTS customers to use coupons and still get the deals the store has advertised! I called Walgreens Corporate and a lady there said that she thought that this was true–she wasn't sure–specifically that if you use a manu. coupon clipped from a newspaper insert, the register rewards won't print. (She was going to check on it for me, but I had already used up too many telephone minutes on hold, so no thank you. I suspect that had I let her check for me, she would have come back and said the manager was incorrrect. But I don't know.)

          • Syndilew

Actually, what they do is tell you that a supervisor will call you and then they don't. CVS and RA customer service is better than Wags. I mean she doesn't know their own qpon policy?

          • jhoran

Looks like he forgot to mention that they get their money back from the coupons which you got from buying the paper and also that the RR comes from the manufacturer and not WAGs.

    • Stefluvs2sign

FYI no coupon on clorox on FB

    • Kelly C

Still kind of new to Walgreens, have had problems before but wanted to try again this week. If I did the Olay RR deal, and buy 3 body washes & 3 secret deodorants. Can I use 3 buy body wash, get secret free coupons and 3 $1 off coupons? Since it would be 6 coupons and 6 items?

      • jhoran

        Yes.

        • Kelly C

Thanks, I tried it earlier this morning. Got 3 body washes, 2 bottles of head & shoulders, 2 deodorants (only had 2 coupons afterall), 2 boxes of Emergen-c, and 2 lip glosses for $26. Saved almost $40. Finally a good week for me at Walgreens.

          • Stacy

Kelly – Did you use the $1 coupon listed above for the Emergen-c? Just curious if they carried those flavors, and if not, if the coupon worked ok? Second.. How much was the Emergen-c? Thanks!

    • workatwags

FYI, check your candy aisle for several different types of gum that are on clearance for .37 Would make great filler items also.

      • jhoran

        the trident was .37 and there is a 1.00 q on 3, so .11 for 3.

    • is anyone else having troubles printing the huggies printable coupons?
this is the second week in a row that i cant find them anywhere? i tried it on different computers and it still didnt work :/

      any advice?

    • tmg

I have trouble getting any coupons in the sunday paper that are stated to be in the paper. Like the 3 in 1 Purex $3 off, no where to be found….any ideas what I can do to look for these coupons that are not in the paper?? I know all areas are different but seems to be alot lately…

      • Nita Royal

I often have the same problem, especially if I buy the local paper. In order to get the “good” coupons, I have to buy the paper from the nearest larger city, which means going to the convenience store every Sunday morning.

        • Kcreviews

I do that too, but when I went at 8:15 this morning all the Raleigh papers were already gone! But yeah, they do have better q's than we do here in Wilmington. Our paper's inserts stink.

      • I saw the Purex coupon it was in the Red Plum this week. Good luck. It can be frustrating, but it should be in there. My coupon is not a “regional” one b/c I don't get those. :)

    • LT

I don't usually shop Walgreens..but I was going to today to get the free deodorant and gain…but reading through the comments it looks like Walgreens won't let you use coupons for more than the total-and both of my coupons are for .01 over the cost of the item…someone who shops at Walgreen regularly, please advise!! Thank you!!

      • Jenifer1999

It should work…. the $1.99 for deoderant & the $0.99 for the Gain is after using the in-ad coupon….. they will actually ring up for a higher price & then when you give the cashier the in-ad coupon it will subtract the difference. Give the cashier your manufacturers coupons first, then give them the in-ad coupons. You'll probably want a small filler item too, just in case you need it.

        • LT

          Thank you thank you!!

          • Sandy

I used the gain coupon today, no problem.

        • Tonya

I tried that today, and it didn't work. I gave her the manufacturer's coupon first, thinking the store coupon would adjust accordingly, but it wouldn't ring through. The cashier called the manager, and she said they will not accept a coupon for over the price if they have to do a manual entry of the coupon. I'm sorry, but that is not what the official Walgreens coupon policy says….So frustrating!

          • Rlynn103

I printed the Walgreens coupon policy and keep it with me. I CLEARLY states that the coupon will be adjusted down to the sale price of the item.

    • Connfam05

I went to Walgreens this morning to get the Purex Sheets wanting to use 2 $3 off coupon to be able to get them for 99 cents each. But the cashier said I could only use one coupon not 2.which makes it $2.49 each. I am considering returning them because I think I can get them cheaper at Walmart. Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Stacielovescoupons

Their coupon policy says you can use 2! Also, go to cvs they have them $3.99…so you're getting them for $.99 anyway!!

        • SKMsMom

I did this purchase today and was able to use 2 $3 off coupon. I am in Columbia, SC.

      • Hey! Just go to CVS to get them instead. They are $3.99 each so if you use the $3 off coupon it will be .99! Hope that helps.

      • jhoran

Return them. Cvs has them for 3.99 on sale, and after the 3.00 q they are.99 too…no limits.

      • Sarah M.

I'm glad I saw your comment – I'm new to this and was trying to figure out how I could get them for .99 when my math got me to $2.49 each. So, according to their rules, we are supposed to be able to use 2 coupons on a B1G1 deal? I guess judging from the other comments, it seems each store makes its own rules… I'm going tomorrow, and I hope I can get this deal! (If not, off to CVS)

      • Jenni P

You can get them cheaper at Rite Aid AND CVS this week! And yes, I have TONS of problems at Walgreens! The cashier was very helpful helping me figure out how to navigate the Wags system, but she warned me not to let the manager know she was being so helpful, as it could get her in trouble! Good. Grief.

      • Cherish_taylor

you can get them at cvs this week for .99 they are on sale for 3.99…also there was a $1 off coupon for liquid purex which is on sale for $1.99 at cvs this week also.

      • Mcleodsc

If you have a CVS, take your 2 $3 coupons over there. It is 3.99 minus your 3.00-so you end up owing .99 per package. I did not see a limit in the sales paper either!

    • angeljoy66

Walgreens makes it difficult to use coupons! First, I was informed that I can do separate transactions, but I couldn't use the register reward on the next item I purchased if I had just gotten a rr on that item in the previous transaction.
When I rang up two razors in one transaction, I rcvd only one rr. I had asked the cashier beforehand if I would get two rrs if I rang them together and he said yes. (I KNEW I should have gone with my gut) Then, when I asked the manager about my missing reward, he said it wouldn't have given me a reward anyway if I had done it separately, because the manufacter has it fixed so you don't get a reward if you use a coupon, because you didn't pay the full price, but I got the reward when I bought two together. The thing is, I used 2 coups on the razors! I did not get that line of reasoning.
I will go back and test this theory Wed, because I have one more coup for razors and they are out right now.
      What an ordeal!!!

      • Kcreviews

It should definitely work if you do them in separate transactions. However, you can't use the RR you get from one razor to buy the other razor.

      • Msattitude70

We never have a problem using the coupons and RR at our walgreens. We did have to buy the razors separately to get the RR to print. Then turned around and used the RR on the next transaction.

      • TNMom

I just bought razors at my store tonight. You have to do the transactions separately or it will only print one. I used coupons and got the RR just fine. Make sure not to use the P&G RR you got for your next trans on Wednesday or it won't print a RR for sure.

      • Wendysurfmom

I would return one of them. Then buy it again andf see what happens, I think you will get your reward.

    • Frugal4eva

I signed up for the P&G to get the razor Q and the Head & Shoulders Q. Will I get those in my email or ??? Because the didn't print. Thanks!

      • jhoran

        In the mail.

        • Frugal4eva

Hope it comes before it goes off sale at Wags! Thank you!

    • Elizabeth

Did anyone try the kleenex deal? I went this morning and did not see signs for $2 RR and my instore coupon has a limit of 3 for 89 cents…I would have asked but the lady at the register is always so hateful to me….

      • Kris

Yes I did the deal, but I only bought 6 because I didn't have the Buy 3 get 1 free coupon. It did work.

      • Melissa Watson

I bought Kleenex @ Walgreens and did not get a RR

      • Momofthree

I tried to do it tonight and neither of the WAGs I went to had the Kleenex deal. They did have a different RR on Puffs.

    • Kcreviews

My RP insert didn't have the Purex q so I won't be buying this week! :(

      • Jenniferbrasher

You can order coupons from a clipping service. I use coupondede.com then you never have to be disappointed not getting certain coupons.

      • Queuepawn

same here :( Glad to know I'm not alone

    • DebTN

I'm done with Walgreens. Done! Cashiers who don't know Walgreen's coupon policy and hateful managers who act like couponers have cooties have pushed me too far. I will have to go back one more time to spend the RR rewards I got today (at great emotional expense!) but I will be spending them on things that do not produce more RR's because I am d-o-n-e DONE with them.

Thank you for letting me vent! :)

      • guest

I am sorry to hear that . I knew how you feel . Most of managers and cashiers work at WG extremely mean and rude to couponers .

      • Cfstylist

I keep saying the same thing! They are HORRIBLE to deal with. My manager actually told me she hated coupons!!! I have however found one young girl back at the cosmetics counter that is very helpful with the coupons because she likes to do them herself but the problem isnt so much her but that Walgreens system doesnt recognize the coupons. Maybe someday Walgreens will figure out they are running off a lot of good loyal costumers!

      • DebTN

Now that I've had time to reflect (and calm down) I think that most of the blame has to be put on corporate. Their manager's training program appears to be lacking. I'm going to do their survey (again) and tell them that's what I think. Part of the training should include: “don't paint all couponers with the same brush just because a few unscrupulous people come into your store and clear shelves.” I do believe the manager I encountered today was doing the best she knew how and I told her so after we both apologised to each other for losing our cool. Well, she never acknowledged that she lost her cool but she kept interrupting me and when I raised my voice she KNEW I was losing mine ….Okay, yeah, I'm still upset. :)

        • Holister

Not the Walgreen in Ooltewah is it? They are horrible there. But if you live in Hamilton County the one on East Brainerd is great. They will ring up your coupons in away to save you the most money. They have helped me out so many times.

      • Heather

I understand completely! I just said the exact same thing tonight! I went to 2 different WGs today and had terrible experiences at both! They wouldn't even allow me to use more than one RR on my purchase, said it wasn't allowed! This was a manager. One store took my $10 RR and didn't even scan it, I had to get a manager to give it back to me! I sent corporate an email tonight. I will go to CVS where I have zero problems.

      • MissG818

This has happened to me in Publix. However, I make them comply with the policy or I refuse all the merchandise on the counter and go to another store. I am there to save money for my family, not please them. Too bad, I use coupons to save money.

    • Emerald

I purchased the loreal youth code for 29.99 and used the 3.00 coupon, at rite aid and got (2) $5 RR: but when I went to walgreens and did the same thing I only got (1) $5 RR… Why is that??… After reading these comments I think I am getting to be done with walgreens.

      • Claralstubbs

At walgreens you can't use the the reward on the same item. you have to split up the transactions. you can get it just use the reward on something else that is getting a reward then use that. I love walgreens

    • Kellyhouse67

So far in KY I have had good experiences with wags. Just an FYI, I found gain softener sheets for $3.12 @ walmart and used the $3 off coupon….unexpected to get a deal @ walmart! Even the cashier was surprised (after she studied my coupons and almost left one off until I reminded her!).

      • jhoran

Thanks for the tip. Someone blogged in that it was 3.49 at kroger..went there today and they didn't even carry it.

        • Kristy

Walmart has the 80 count for $3.16
Right now Bi-Lo has the 80 count for $2.99

      • Barbara

My Walmart had the Gain dryer sheets for $1.89. I got 2 boxes and used 2 of the $3 off coupons, and was able to use the overage to cover a package of file folders I needed for organizing my coupons! One of the only times…ever…that couponing at Wal-Mart paid off!

    • Couponinggirl

Hey Ya'll! Check inside your RepHresh tampon box. There are coupons in there for your next purchase! Score!!

      • jhoran

        Thanks for the tip

    • Wdra0632

My WAGS would not take the Brilliant coupon, they looked at it called the manager, told her this coupon looks like a photo copy of a real coupon. The manager said this coupon does not contain the info. we need on a coupon, we have had problems with coupon fraud. OK so arrest me why don't ya, I felt like I had done something wrong. WAGS you are only hurting yourselves when you embarass and humiliate your customers. I LOVE RA AND CVS! What has Wags ever given me as a bonus besides a hard time?

      • One of the managers at a store I used to shop at regularly accused me of fraud when I used a manufacturer's Q from a Publix coupon booklet (for Command Adhesive hooks). The cashier accepted them because they scanned just fine (because the were valid Q's–Publix store Qs don't have barcodes!)

A few weeks later when I was shopping in the store, the manager told me that I had basically ripped them off, that he couldn't send in those Qs because they said “Publix” on them. I tried to explain that they were manufacturer's Qs and they didn't specify that they could ONLY be redeemed at Publix, and to please go back & check them because I was certain I was right, but he wouldn't even listen. It was awful.

I went back the following week because despite my embarrassment, the cashiers there had always been really friendly. Well, in that week they had clearly held some sort of meeting ABOUT ME….no one would look me in the eye or say hello like usual, and then when I went to check out the cashier, who had always been SUPER friendly, told me that the manager had told her to tell me that I would only be allowed to do 3 transactions from now on.

On my blog I teach people how to use coupons every day and the first thing I always say is be friendly and polite, and to always be willing to get back in line between transactions so that no one ever has to wait. For the first time since I have been couponing, I left the store completely humiliated.

But while I will no longer shop at that location, I'm not bitter about it. Every experience is another lesson learned and I still enjoy shopping at Walgreens. I found another store nearby that has a lovely management staff and I continue to score some great deals each week.

Sorry for writing such a long response. I've never written about this incident and I guess I just had to get it out. I just wanted you to know that you're not alone, but that it doesn't mean that every Walgreens is full of horrible people. I don't even think the manager that accused me was a horrible person. I think he just thought he was doing his job.

        • DebTN

I've come to the same conclusion – that the managers are trying to do their jobs the best they know how. I emailed corporate today and gave them my opinion about their manager training program. It's one thing to 'agree to disagree' but humiliating people – so totally unnecessary.

          • Ann Taylor

I've had a similar experience at my local Walgreens. I was trying to use a coupon that was over the price of the item and when I asked the cashier about adjusting the coupon down (Walgreens new coupon policy was already out) she told me that I was trying to commit coupon fraud! Walgreens needs a reality check. I left and went right next door to CVS.

        • laidbackracing

I cut off the part where it says publix so i don't make a problem even tho I haven't had a problem at the walgreens in North Charleston…the one on james island is a little harder to deal with…I feel very bad for you and you are looking at this in a very good way…he really was doing his job

    • Guest

I come on the this site every week to see what people have to say about Walgreens! I have been working for walgreens for over 5 years and i have to say that i love the company but i dont think they inform the managers about how the RR's work. Every week i read on here that some managers and cashiers say that you can't use manq coupon with RR items! This is not true! The managers dont work on the registers so they dont know what they are saying. I know from personal experience that they will print even if you use a coupon. Just make sure not to use the same RR for the same item. Ive even argued with my store manager what works and what doesnt and usually i am right. like i said they don't work the register so they dont know. just tell the cashier to try it and watch the amusement on their face when it works! I agree with everyone on here that corporate needs to communicate with their managers about RR's. Maybe the cashiers need to give the managers lessons lol.

    • 5peepfam

I got my Gain dish detergent for FREEEEEEE!!! I had a 1.00 off coupon that came out of my Gain Powder Laundry Detergent which doesnt expire until 12/11 …this combined w/ the 99 cents sale … there ya go!

    • Kristy

I really don't love Wags but I will shop there for the best deals. But I have recently heard that RR are not printing if you use cpns for that product. Is this new or not true?

      • I haven't had that problem & I shop Wags almost every week!

      • tina

no i have not had a problem with that, i think it is if you (for example) buy deodorant and get a RR from that purchase you can't use that RR to turn around and pay for the same deodorant, it has to be another item like toohtpaste. just stagger your transactions and you can use the toothpaste RR to buy another deod. and get another RR…..HTH!

    • Debra

Did anyone get the Pepsi deal? I seen in Walgreens flyer that it was (2) 12 packs for $9 with a $3 RR. Jenny has it posted as $3.50 each and that would make it $7 instead of $9, I think Jenny made a mistake.

    • Sheeba

I'm very disappointed. I was looking forward to getting the $3 off Purex 3-1 laundry sheets. It was no where to be found in my paper. Does anybody know where you can get one?

      • Jewel

Me too! RP coupons were extremely scant Sunday and no SS! I want the 3-n-1s too, but only if I can get that $3 off! :)

        • Sheeba

Yeah. We got cheated in the coupons this week. Not fair just because of where we live. If RP is going to print a $3 coupon for one, they should print it for all. Doesn't make sense to me.

        • Ddnebel

          I had @ $3 off Pyrex 3 in 1 in AJC paper

      • O2bhis1

        ebay

        • Sheeba

Yeah you can find coupons for anything on Ebay, but I shouldn't have to pay for coupons that everybody else got free. By the time I get them, the sale will be over. Bummer !!!

      • Aklcl48

Go to the website for Purex, I found $1.00 off coupons.

      • Bethany

Sometimes you can go to the SS or RP website and play with different ZIP codes to get different Q's. Every now and then someone will post that they got a great Q and will let you know what ZIP you can use to get it, too.

      • ALB

There was a $3 off coupon in the paper in zip code 29172

    • Steph at Wags

if i have a coupon for b1g1 deodarant or bodywash and the store has it on sale for b1g1 50% off how does that work i know it would be better to wait til it was b1g1 free so they both will be free but the coupons expire soon? any advice? anyone know where gillette deodarant or old spice is on sale at?

      • DeeDee_FL

Axe is B1G1 50% and I have a BOGO Q. The Q will pay for 1 and I will pay 50% for the other.

how do you know if you need a filler item or not? like in jennys senario transaction #2 why did she need a filler?

      • Julie

I think she needed another to make her total more than zero. I'm not sure but I think that's right. It won't let you use another coupon if they owe you. Somebody chime in if I didn't explain this right. :)

        • Jay

Generally you need a filler for one of 2 reasons: (1) If you have more coupons than items (usually just MQ's, since IVC's don't count); or (2) if you're using RR's and your oop price is less than the taxes for the transaction.

There's a slick online tool called Wags Calc (google it) that helps you plan around this and warns you if your planned transaction falls in to either category above.

      • Bethany

It could also be that she had more coupons to use than items to purchase. You have to make sure that you more items than coupons, so sometimes you can add an inexpensive filler item to do so.

What is this get more from your pharmacy booklet and where do you get it. I see it in the Walgreens and Wal Mart shopping lists in the coupon areas.

    • Jay

Wow – looking at some of the previous comments… it’s sad that so many people have problems with coupons at their Walgreens :( Since Walgreens.com now has the coupon policy on the site, I suggest printing it off and having it handy when you do coupon, IVC or RR transactions. If cashier, Mgr, etc. tell you one thing, pull out the print, tell them it’s on the Walgreens web site and stick to your guns because YES you can use 2 coupons on a B1G1 sale, and YES you can use both a MQ and and IVC (2, even) for the same single item, and YES you can use a coupon with face value of more than the product price (they have to adjust it down), and YES you do get RR for a product even if you use a coupon on it :) It’s all stated in the policy. And for folks that do any deal planning, take a look at Wags Calc (google “wags calc” b/c I don’t think I can post links here). It’s an online planner/calculator that will let you kno w how many coupons can be used, what your total oop will be, etc.

I went to Walgreens on 2-21-11. I bought two boxes of nature valley granola bars and tried to use 2 instore coupons for .50 each and they would only take one coupon. Also bought Tilex which was on sale 2 for $3 and receive a $2 reward bucks. I also had a $1 coupon. Assistant Manager stated that because I used the $1 coupon, they were no longer 2 for $3 so I couldn't get my reward bucks. I told them to refund all of my money and I went to CVS. They are great with coupons!!

    • Undercoverangel

I have went to RP and SS and cant find the coupons that are suppose to be there as stated on this site.

      • Mysterious_Mentalist

“went”? Did you mean you went to their website? Not all coupons in print/inserts (in newspapers) are available online, and vice versa

Going to try this tomorrow and not sure if someone already posted, but if not here it is! Found this on another site (could be here but haven’t had time to read through everything). Good luck!

      • Kristy

The $1 off in ad coupon will not work. it will beep.

      • Wdra0632

This deal doe not work, the in ad coupon beeps and the wipes are $7.99 so you will own $2.29 plus the tax on all the amount. I tried it today and that was how much I had to pay, still a good deal but as usual not a great one at WAGS. Beginning to grow tired of the guessing game with them, rather hit the CVS and RA at least you can really get a $.49 deal at them.

So I just left the Walgreens at five forks and I was told that register rewards were manufacture coupons and I couldn't combine them with my other coupons?? I've never really gone to walgreens, I'm more of a cvs person. Is this right because it makes no sense to me that something that can only be used at Walgreens is a mc.

      • unfortunately yes, plus since they are considered Q you have to have same number of items as all Q

      • tina

yes you CAN combine them with your other coupons you just have to have “filler items”. so if you have 5 items and have 5 coupons, one for each item then you have to have an item that does not have a coupon with it because the register reward is considered a coupon it has to have an item to attach. all you have to do is find something like a pencil or small piece of candy, anything cheap will do, even clearance. i grabbed a travel size shampoo from the clearance shelf for 25 cents to make out my order. good luck. i do not care for walgreens personally but every now and then i will grab a deal or two, i am really liking rite aid more and more myself.. hang in there!

I just went today and was told the same thing!! i am a CVS person also and have never had that issue with CVS. Also when if you 2 of an item that has RR then you have to buy them seperate to get both RR receipts…. is this not crazy??

        • Wdra0632

Had the same thing happen to me last week with the Reach toothbrush deal, I bought 2 had a coupon $2/2, so I purchased them together and only received one $2 rr, asked the cashier and she said that I had to purchase them separate to receive $4 rr. Does not make sense either way I would still be buying 2 of the same products. Where is the logic in this corporate? This is why I love CVS and RA no hidden rules and better deals.

      • firstbrownie

Look at the top of the RR….it says manufacture coupon. These are distributed by the manufacture through Wags. I have used my RR at CVS and other grocery stores, because they are manufacture qs. I have wonderful workers at my Wags. If I didn't, I probably would not shop there….not worth the time!

    • This deal ($3 RR WYB (2) Pepsi products,12 pk., at $3.50 ea) was not in my WG, it was 3 for $11 in mine

    • Frances

I really love my Walgreens, I haven't had problems witht the cashiers or managers. They are in fact very friendly and helpful. I'm in Orangeburg, SC. Sorry for all the bad experiences everyone else has had.

    • cyndi

I just left Wags and I can tell the couponers have been thru. There wasnt any of refresh tampons and no purex and a few other things. Does anyone know when they will restock or will they? just wondering

      • cyndi

sorry the name is cyndi on above comment on restocking.

      • Lzbacnik

The Wags in our town does not restock.

      • Wendysurfmom

Ours does on Thursdays, I am going in today to see what is left:) Sometimes I i know is sneaky, but I put a few items behind something else in hopes that I can get it during the sale. I go to church sunday mornings and by the afternoon, everything is gone. There are probably 15 people standing at the door when it opens. I have never been good at racing all the grannies to the RR items.

    • Kenzbug

You can go to Walgreens website today only and get a free 8×10 collage. I just ordered mine and will be ready for pick up within an hour.

    • adrienne

i got 7 boxes of kleenex and no RR printed. then the guy asked me to show it to him in the flyer and i couldn't find it :(

      • Mcleodsc

        Return them for a refund!

    • Mcleodsc

Thursday I noticed some small packages of Cream Of Wheat for one dollar each. So this AM I went back to get 2 with 2- $1off coupons. Well, they ALL dissappeared! Either someone came in and bought all of them OR management moved them back into the store room. Then I remembered that I also saw them at Dollar General (which is one block down). I got 2 from DG for free along with some free Gain fabric softener sheets. So if you have the $1 off any Cream of Wheat coupon(s) and the ones at WAGS dissapeared then go to Dollar General
