Having trouble getting to the poligrip link, any suggestions?

    • Sallytpyle

The Polident printable says “page can not be found”. Could you recheck that link?

      • Thanks for the heads up. I'll go digging for a new one!

        • Mama4rats

Someone on afullcup.com said that the coupon was pulled because someone tampered with it and it’s fake. You just get an error message on that link now.

    • Adacosta1

Can you give us some more ideas about the olay cleansers and wash or the gillette? The 1/30 P & G expires on 2/28 and I will get multiple copies of the P & G this sunday. Any help on deals ideas would be greatly appreciated.

      • here is my idea:
        Buy:
        2 Olay cleansers $5.49 + $2.75= $8.24
        2 Olay BW $4.99 + $2.50= $7.49
        2 Olay complete moisturizers. $12.00?
        Total Pre-tax: $27.73
        Use:
2 Free Olay Complete facial moisturizer WYB body wash, max $6, PG 1/30 (EXP 02/28)=$12.00?
2 Free Olay bar, body wash or in shower lotion WYB facial cleanser, PG 2/27= $7.49
        2 -$3 off Olay facial moisturizer or cleanser, SS 2/06 = $6.00

        so Total Potential OOP $2.24

I know that not every cashier will let all that go through, so I am going to try to time it just right and pass a few Qs to my cashier too!

        • 3bettins

the cheapest Olay Complete at my Wags was $8.99!

        • Lexann

Don’t know if prices are the same everywhere – but the lowest priced Olay Complete moisturizers at my store are around $8-9 That brings your OOP up about $4

        • Lori

I did this deal today with the Olay Regenerist wash. The Regenerist wash did not ring up properly, so I had to go back in and get reimbursed. (I had called ahead to the store, and they told me ALL facial washes were included, including specifically Regenerist and Pro-V, so I reminded them of that and they honored it.) The cheapist complete moisturizer was $8.99, so there was still quite a bit of OOP. But they did take all the coupons!

    • Oakesmother

can i use two MQ coupons on the naturemade vitamins? say if i have two of the 2$ off coupons, since im buying two items i can use both coupons even though the second one rings up free… right?

      • Yes. However, you might have to put up a fight at some stores.

      • Make sure you bring with their coupon policy!

    • Kristan

I got the same exact scenarios…cool! This is a fun week :-)

    • Mmleininger

Hi Jenny, thanks for all your hard work putting this together. I have a question about the $6/2 Qpn that you have listed for the Motrin IB. My $6/2 coupon does not show Motrin IB which is what Walgreens is giving RR on. It only lists/pictures Motrin PM. In my past experience Walgreens will not let meuse a coupon unless the exact item is either in the picture or in the fine print. So how did you know that this coupon will work on the Motrin IB?? What am I missing? Thanks so much.

    • Kay

Yes, please do recheck that link. I'm excited about this weeks deals even if I do have my own teeth! lol!

    • sealey5

Hey everyone! I got a question. I am not familiar with Wags as well as I am CVS. So my question is this… is there a limit to how many items you can get that have the RR's? For instance, I could get the baby magic baby wash for $3, get the $3 in RR's, then turn around and get the Motrin IB pain relief for $3, use the $3 RR's from the baby magic wash. But then, could I get another baby wash and keep flip flopping the RR's from each item around? Sorry if that's confusing. Thank you for any help possible :)

      • Meldez

I think it is usually one deal per visit – however you can do that, but I am sure they will not let you go back to back too many times. You also have to make sure that the coupons are not from the same company. I do not think those particular ones are, but sometimes two different items may both be the same company. Understand? If that is the case, you cannot use the rewards on that product and receive RRs back. And if you buy the Baby Magic – you can not use the same RR for that purchase again. Making sense?

        • sealey5

Well, I think I understand, lol. You're saying that if I bought a P&G item (such as Dawn dish detergent, and Pampers diapers) I couldn't get but 1 RR for however much the promotion is for at that time? Because they are both P&G items. As far as the Baby Magic goes, can I get multiple RR's from that as long as the Baby Magic purchases aren't back to back? Sorry, I know I already asked that but want to be completely sure.

          • Jamie

Unless the RR are “rolling”, you will only get one RR for each different item you purchase per transaction. For example, if you bought 2 baby magics, you would only get 1 – $3 RR. You can make as many transactions as you like, using a different RR for each purchase (the baby magic RR for the motrin, the motrin RR for the baby magic). Just know that not every cashier will have the patience to do this with you over and over and if there is any kind of line behind you, they won't be happy either. You could choose to make one transaction at the pharmacy, one at the photo, and one at the main register. Or simply visit your Walgreens a few times this week to maximize your savings.

            • sealey5

right, so I would purchase 1 baby magic, then roll the RR's onto another item that's not affiliated with baby magic, then roll it again. And yes, get out of the line and let the others check out, and get in the back of the line, lol. Ok thank you for helping this blonde out :) I do appreciate it and sorry if i've confused ya!

      • Jamie

You should be able to do that. Just be sure the RR you use to make your purchase is not from the item you are purchasing ($3 RR from Baby Magic for the Baby Magic purchase). Also, be aware of the others in line behind you. :)

        • sealey5

Oh yes, I definately take into consideration how many folks are behind me! I usually do a bunch of transactions at CVS and there have been times that I would do 1 transaction, get back in line and continue on. I want to be a courteous couponer! :)

        • momof3

I do this a good bit for things–I'm trying to help out my local homeless shelter–And, I always let folks in front of me, saying, “I take forever to check out!” They really appreciate it, and so does the darling little cashier at my Wags!

    • SHERRYN

I have a question about the diapers scenario, on the huggies it has a printable link listed and when I go to it, it is a target coupon for $2.50 off, does walgreens accept target coupons? Just making sure before I head that way with the wrong coupons, thanks ahead of time for any information you can give :)

      • andie98

my Wags will not take compeitior coupons. :(

      • Ladybugpam

If I remember correctly, that is a manufacturer's q, not a Target q. The Target coupons have both manu q's and store q's mixed together, you cannot tell what are what until printout…sux when you get super excited about a coupon matchup just to find it is a manu q! but then, on the other hand, it is nice to find a surprise manu q once in a while that you can use anywhere:) and also, no, wags will not take competitor's q's.

        • sherryn

thank you for clearing that uo, so i will just have to click on the printable link and see which ones they are, is that what you are saying, I have looked everywhere for huggies coupons and all I can find are target ones, so I did get excited when I saw it said printable and then to have target pop up, :(. But thanks that does clear up the fact they do not take competitors coupons, thanks again, have a great weekend!!!!!!!

          • The coupons on Target's site don't actually tell you whether they are store or manufacturer coupons until you print them. So I print all of them and if it's a store coupon you'll see (Target Coupon) before the “printable” link. You can always use the coupon database and see them all there to see what is store and what is manufacturer before printing.

          • mmay

The the coupon on target's website is for 2.50 of 48pk or more diapers. The packs on sale at wags are just the smaller packs. The coupon will not work for this deal unless you are going to get size nb or maybe 1. But it would be good when the boxes go on sale!!

          • Pennydealchick

for anyone looking for diaper coupons I was just at Publix and the coupon dispencer has $1.5 off Huggies. Not as good as what is in the Sunday paper but free. Hope this helps.

          • Tiffany

There will be huggies coupons in the SS on sunday

    • Sharon

      What are register reward deals?

      • Olisa56

RR are coupons that print out after you pay for your items. For example if the deal is pay 2.99 for toothpaste and you will recieve a 2.99 RR then you will pay 2.99 out of pocket and then you will get a coupon at the register for 2.99 that is good for almost anything in the store. I think the exclusions are tobacco, alchohol, and maybe prescriptions but I am not 100% on that. Otherwise you can use the RR to purchase other items that have RR on them or use them for something you need or want. Anything really! Hope this helped

oops where do I find walgreen's coupon policy

      • Wdra0632

Go to WAGS dot com and there is a copy there you can download and print. HTH

      • nancycrom

It's right at the top of this page, on the right.

    • Wdra0632

The Tylenol Precise is $4 off combine it with the $3 Motrin, use the $6off 2 should make for both free or very cheap. Will try this instead of using my q to purchase 2 motrins, because WAGs will only give one RR when purchasing 2 of the RR products. HTH

      • nancycrom

Yeah, you'll only get 1 RR for 2 bottles, but if you do the math it works out better than the other q! 2 bottles for 6.00-6.00/2q=0-3.00RR versus 3.00-1.00q=2.00-3.00RR

      • Bee

I think that sounds like a great idea.

    • meme

I see comments below about rolling and rolling and rolling transactions on the same products (baby lotion for example). Please be considerate of those who have the babies and have made a trip to the store to get a few for the next few weeks. I know it is admirable to donate these items, but it is so disheartening to make a trip to the store only to find the shelves empty. Please, please, please consider whether it is an ego trip (which I know I experienced when I first started couponing) or a true need. Maybe toward the end of the sale some may purchase for donation purposes. Thank you all for your consideration.

      • I agree! More often than not I encounter cleared out shelves in my area. So disheartening! I really needed to get my hubby a razor and was going to get one of the Gillette Fusions the other day and they were totally wiped out. And he really needed a razor!

      • Bee

You have a great point about the ego trip. Or maybe a better term is a shopping/saving high. I think the reason there is so much “donation” going on is because people get home with all this stuff and realize they don't really have a need and don't want to store it. I mean, really, I have all my teeth and no one I know has put in a request for me to run down to Wag's for them and get their Poligrip (which I would gladly do). My husband would probably roll his eyes at the very least.

I don't need the baby wash/lotion, either. In fact, knowing I have to get out of bed early in the morning to pull it off at all makes me wonder if it's even worth it. Frankly, I save more money going to yard sales when I find an awesome pair of jeans for $1 that would have cost me a fortune and I don't have to fool with the crazy RR.

With that said, when I go in and don't find what I wanted, I don't assume that someone took it all in one fell swoop. Many stores only carry enough for 3 or 4
people to get anything. Even if there is some rumor that someone took it all, I don't pay much attention.

And last but not least, there is always another deal around the corner. Say you only get one baby wash. The good thing is that it should last you until the next good deal (or even longer).

        • lowcountry couponer

It absolutely is a shopiing high, I had the same thing. Luckily for me (and those getting to the store after me) it only lasted a few months! Plus when I looked at all of stuff that I bought that I DIDNT need and only got because it was free, I still paid tax on all of that, which is 7.5% in my town. So I can't say that I really “saved” any money, I just spent hours running around town and ended up with a ton of free stuff that I didn't use!

    • KJ

If you to Zyrtec, I would suggest going this week! There is a $5 off Wal-Green's coupon in their flyer, I had a $4 off coupon from a couple of weeks back (can't remember if it was Red Plum or Super Savers) and they have a $2 off tear-pad coupon in store! That meant I saved $11 on my allergy medication!

      • KJ

That should be “if you take Zyrtec”

      • nancycrom

How can you use 3 q's on 1 item???

    • I saw someone post about Walgreens giving them problems using a coupon where the item is not in the picture and it's not in the fine print either. Does anyone else have that problem? I wanted to do the deal below with the Vick's and Kleenex but the Vicks coupons all say “Any Vicks Item” and the VapoDrops are not what is in the picture. Can anyone tell me if this would cause problems?

Buy 5 Vicks VapoDrops $0.90 each
Buy 4 Puffs Kleenex $1.79 each
Use 4 $1.00/1 Vicks Product from PG 1/30 exp 2/28
Or USe 4 $1.00/1 Vicks product from PG 1/16 exp 2/28
And Use 4 Free Puffs (up to $1.99) wyb One Vicks product from PG 2/27
      Final Price: $0.05 each item

      • Holliejolly

They should honor it because the coupon says ANY vicks product. It doesn't say it in the fine print because ANY means you can use the coupon as along as it says vicks on the packaging.

      • Raynesmw

What still confuses me (and maybe somebody can explain) is in this particular scenerio it seems you are using 2 coupons for each of the Vicks products, you are using a $1 off and a free puff per Vick item.

        • jessica

It's not using 2 coupons per vicks, because the Free puffs wyb vicks are actually for the Puffs.

      • Mel0011

Where did you find the Vics VapoDrops? I looked all over my store today and couldnt find any?!?!?!

I consider myself lucky if I can do 2 transactions. Will your store really allow you to do all 5 transactions? Do you get in the back of the line after each transaction? It would be very time consuming to attempt this at my WAGS. I usually do one transaction each day and spread it over a week.

        • jessica

My Walgreens is usually good about me doing multiple transactions, but do be considerate. The stores tend to get busy on Sunday mornings so try to go early in order to avoid having a whole line forming behind you. If too many people get built up then just move to the back. Don't bother going several days.

        • momof1

Check out in Cosmetics, you have time to think about your transactions and they are always much friendlier anyway.

        • Susanizanurse

I've done upwards of 7 transactions at my store in the past during a single visit. If anyone is in line behind me, I do a single transaction & step back to the end of the line. I do single transactions like this until I am done unless there's no one behind me then I do one after another. With gas @ $3/gallon & the nearest Wags being 20 miles from my home, the option of multiple trips during the week just isn't an option. The employees at my store know me & are simply wonderful & have no problem whatsoever with however many transactions I want to do.

when will the March coupon book come out in stores?

      • Thatgirl

        Sunday 2/27

    • Queenofbritton

My Walgreens makes me purchase one item per RR that I use. So, the scenario ideas won't work for me. Is that the case with anyone else's local Walgreen store?

      • Denise

Yes, you must have an item for every coupon that also includes the RR, so if you have store, manufacture and RR you must have 3 items. That is why fillers are listed.

    • Couponreina

I am a newbie, so many of you may know this, but…Two things about Walgreen's FYI
      1) I had a store coupon for Degree at $1.99 and a Manu coupon for $1 off and tried to make that one purchase. The cashier informed me that she could not scan more coupons than she had items, so I had to buy a piece of candy for .35. Anyone else know that?

      2) I belong to AARP and just found out that if you take your card and get it scanned, you get coupons. I got a $3.00 of $10 purchase of Walgreen brand items that I plan to redeem. When redeeming you MUST have you card scanned first.

      • jessica

About your number one, Walgreens coupon policy states that you cannot use more coupons than items in any one transaction, they also count their Register Rewards as coupons. That is why Jenny includes the 'small items' in her transactions at walgreens.

    • Ella_sinder

My purex 3/1 coupon doesn't say “excludes trial size.” Sooo…. I tried it at my local dollar general where they have the samples (2 loads) for a dollar. And the coupon worked! So I got that free and 2 dollars off the rest of what I bought there! So for anyone else out there that bought toooo many of these coupons on ebay- and the walgreens/cvs deals end tomorrow- it's not for nought! Try dollar general!

    • Pennydealchick

I went shoppong at Publix today and found a coupon for $1.50 off of Huggies in a blinkie. For those of you needing diapers and maybe not wanting to buy a lot of sunday papers to get that coupon.

    • Maryjane37

Please help – I tried to use 4 Purex coupons at Wags today – their limit is 4 – that would make all 4 free with some change left over. The register would NOT ring 4 and take off all 4 coupons, even with mgr override. I don't want the overage just the free soap….I did get 2 free at anpother store (all they had)… what did I do wrong??

      • Pmortonfamily

how are they free, the coupon is for $3.00 off and they are $7.99 b.o.g.o. get at cvs($3.99) or take your add to walmart and they will match still $1.00 each

      • Mis64709

Anytime you have overage grab a little something to fill the gap, candy, etc. It shouldn't beep at you then.

    • Scass73

Hey. Can anyone tell me where I can get the “Infant Care booklet” mentioned in the Huggies diapers deal?? Thanks!

      • Tiff715

Usually at the make up counter

      • Pmortonfamily

I found mine at phamacy hanging on a rack

      • LylithC

I have looked several times, & today I asked the cashier. She looked at me like I was speaking another language! I can't find it either! Could someone mail me one…PLEASE?!

      • Firstbrownie

The stores in my area haven't heard of it, but a friend found it for me in a store an hour away. At that store, my friend had to ask for it, since he couldn't find it anywhere.

      • Mjerusha81

I found a whole bunch of them at my Walgreens today. They were in a rack right as you come in the door with the regular weekly ad.

      • El

It's at Walgreens. I found them on the photo and cosmetics counter.

    • Jo R

Ok- the $6/2 Motrin coupon shows Motrin PM – not Motrin IB – is this for all Motrin products or just PM? I don't want any issues so just asking. I do not normally shop at Walgreens.

      • lowcountry Q

I have one that I printed from smartsource for $6 off 2 that lists Motrin AND Motrin PM so I am going to try!

    • Ashleyann6543

I was looking at the Huggies wipes post you put up…..I'm confused(but am also new to this) please help…

      It states…….huggies wipes—–5.99
      2 off coupon
      plus 50 of coupon

      makes it 2.49

should it say 3.49 or am i missing something

      thank you

    • Sue Mckellar

Does anyone know what the “$15 in coupons” means when you buy $15 of participating Coca-Cola, Hershey's or Planters items means? It's in the Atlanta area circular that starts tomorrow. It doesn't say Register Rewards which is what is confusing me. It does say “Good on your NEXT in-store purchase. This appears to be an easy freebie.

      • zelda

        just got back from Wags..lucked up on $15 deal..They hadn't taken down signs on hersey pouches 2/$4.00…so I bought 4 deals..used my $2 off 2 coupons….bought 1 aging product ….and the reg printed out…$10 RR on aging product..then printed $1 q on (2) coke- 20oz, $2 any coke 8 pk, $2 planters mixed nuts, $2 q ritz, wheat thins or triscuit, $1 Planters peanuts, $2 coke zero 12 pk, $3q any (2) hersey's or reese”s candy, 19.75 oz and $2 Q any 3 hersey's drops, reeses pieces…sweet deal…$15.00's in coups back and $10 RR

    • Nocurtain

can you use a filler item as a filler item if it is an item that is ” $ with in ad coupon”? seems to me it wouldn't work as a filler if you were having to use a coupon to get that price. hope this makes sense. also…what are your favorite fillers at your local walgreens right now? i seem to spend forever looking for the cheapest things in the store whenever i go.

      • Niecy

yes, you should be able to because an “in ad coupon” is considered a store coupon and you can use one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item. RRs (register rewards) are considered manufacturer coupons.

    • Roxannegreenwood

Military families don't forget to do your shopping on Tuesday. My store told me last time I was in and has been advertising on the big sign that the first Tuesday of every month there is a ten percent military discount.

    • The $6/2 Motrin PM q's beeped for me this am. (Yes, it's only 4:30am, but I work 3rd now, and me no sleepy yet)

    • The $6/2 Motrin PM q's beeped for me this am. (Yes, it's only 4:30am, but I work 3rd now, and me no sleepy yet)

      • Mamabear0507

The beep should just be for them to input the coupon value. I had a cashier try to input it for $3 this morning and had to explain the coupon was off of 2 items, so I should get the full $6.

    • Mcleodsc

Just back from a 6AM WAG(24 hr. store) trip. I got the only Baby Magic lotion, there were 2 of the Baby Magic body wash left. I got one of 8 super poligrip. I got one of about 5 Applied Nutrition. I got 2 of the Motrin- there were about12 left. I got one Colgate-there was a ton of it. I got one Aquaphor lip repair-there was one left-they were hanging with the chapsticks on an endcap. I had to get the manager to help me find the NasoGel- he brought me one from the storage room-so I have no idea as to how many they have-BUT it did have a $1off peelie on it.
I always wait until after church and lunch to shop WAGS. Today I decided to go early. I am so glad I did. If I had waited until this afternoon, there would not have been any RR items to buy. I think the store is in for some angry shoppers this afternoon, when they do not have any RR items left.

      • Bee

I hope there is enough for everyone. I visited one 24 hour and two that open at 8am. The 24 hour one was nearly wiped out at 6:00am and the other two had at least 60 Motrin each.

The baby wash/lotion seemed to be the lowest stock at all stores and I'm assuming they just did not stock very much as opposed to people wiping it out. That's often the case with certain items. I think the managers got wise on the Motrin this time.

Nonetheless, they don't get trucks everyday so they will probably not last the week, even with a new truck.

        • Mcleodsc

I just went back to get the vitamins for 10 and get 10 RR by using the RRs I got this morning. They did not have any. I just glanced at the other RR items as I went down the aisle to the vitamins. They looked wiped out! They get another truck in on Thursday so I will go back and see if they get the vitamins so I can roll my RR into a $10 one for next week.

    • Steph

Does anyone know if Crest Pro-Health for Me is part of the sale? I have tons of coupons for it that expire today, and haven't found a single Crest sale in the last month that included it :(

      • Guest

CVS has it where you buy it then get your money back in ECBs. They do have a limit of 2 though…

        • Kristy

Does the cvs sale/ ECB deal include the crest for me or just the crest prohealth??

          • Amy

I checked at CVS yesterday. The 'For Me' is not part of the sale. :(

            • Steph

I checked too – not part of the CVS sale. So does that mean no for WG too I suppose?

    • atlanta coupon queen

Got 4 bottles of Motrin PM (20 ct) and 2 bottles of Baby Magic – just paid tax and got $6 RR – thanks!

    • Shoegal

I am so frustrated. I have a Mac computer, and when I try to print coupons through the Bricks Coupon printer on certain sites, it says that I need to change printer settings. When I go into my printer settings the option it's asking me to change isn't even there. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

      • Frugal4eva

I had to change browers. Had to download Safari….

      • Kenzbug

Yes, I have to change browsers too at times. Try firefox, works for me.

    • Kenzbug

Anybody know if the Motrin PM is part of the sale? It's the only coupons I have.

      • Mamabear0507

        Sure is…

        • Kenzbug

Good! I sure hope they left at least 2 boxes. Thank You!!

    • So apparently the Walgreens in my area have gotten together and you are now limited to how many items you can buy on one shopping trip. I wanted to get 6 bottles of mouthwash, but they said I could only get 4 even if I split up the purchase. Someone walked in at 1am and purchased every bottle of Motrin PM which caused the manager to implement a new policy. I will have to shop different Walgreens to get stocked up for my donations…sad:(

      • Jjbest165958

well when u have ignorant people that take everything we have that happens

        • Shanti Pena

I totally agree. When i go to my local store here in TN, they implemented the same policy on limits. We had people buyn coupons on ebay, etc and then coming into to store and clearing out all the shelfs of every sale item. I am all for donating and giving stuff to people in need. Heck, Im one of those folks! However i am very cautious and thankful, for gettn 1 or 2 items at a great price. Usually, i have to get a rain check that i will never use, cause the item comes in and everyone else with a rain check gets their product too..So, with all that in mind, just be thoughtful to the next person. Remember, not to clear the shelfs, leave some stuff to other who may need the item too and also live life pay check to pay check..

      • NewToTheQ

How about chill out with getting things to donate so that the people that NEED one or two of these items for themselves can get it. Im glad they put a limit, how long would it take you to use 6 bottles of mouth wash anyways??

        • There was plenty of mouthwash on the shelves. If there had only been a few left, I would have just gotten what I needed. It happens every week and I rarely buy the last stock of anything. I keep some and donate some. You don't know how many members are in my household and how quickly we go through things like this…

          • Cemberz2112

Umm, you are wasting your time donating mouthwash to shelters. Many people in shelters are homeless due to alcohol dependencies and mouthwash has alcohol in it, so most places can't even use it.

        • 3monkeysmom

People in shelters have just as much NEED for these items as the rest of us :)

          • Lori

I know there are a lot of good people who are in shelters right now. Homeless kids, beaten women, people down on their luck in this economy.

I also see a lot of alcoholics and drug addicts. So, forgive me, but it is hard to be sympathetic to someone who wants to clear the shelves because these people have “just as much NEED”.

      • mam

Don't get me wrong I think it's wonderful that you donate…but when you buy more of a product that you can use that's less on the shelf that the next person that comes along and wants that item to save money for their family. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted a good deal (because of sale/coupons) on an item for my family's use and the shelf is bare becasue someone has bought 6 or 10 of that item just to donate 1/2 of what they buy. Couldn't you limit your donations to 1 of each item instead of the whole stores supply? Please think of the next family that wants to come in and buy that item for use by their family.

        • guest

In Friday Finals on this site, someone posted a pic of their purchase of 28 boxes of Advil. Another showed 18 boxes of Gain Fabric softener. I agree that this is unfair to the rest of us.

    • Kenzbug

Are any of the mouthwash coupons mentioned working with this ad?

      • There was a PG coupon for $2 off Crest Pro-Health but it expires 2/28.

    • Liz

Can I used a p&g coupon and an in store circular coupon on an item! Ex: the crest whitestrips has a $10 off store coupon and $10 off p&g coup. Thanks!

      • Paige

You CAN use a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon.

    • For the Huggies. I got a Walgreens booklet in the mail a few weeks back. It contained $2 off Diapers or Wipes store coupon. It may just be because I have been getting prescriptions through them lately…

      • Scass73

        ok – thanks!!

    • Rae

The Dentyne Pure that was at my Walgreens was 9 pieces, not 12, so the second coupon listed didn't work. The fire & ice Dentyne worked fine.

    • jessica

i followed the 'home mailer' link jenny has on several of the offers above, and it takes you to a p&g website where you can request a bunch of really great coupons and samples! i've seen the link before but never went, didn't know what i was missing! also, i'm not a wags shopper but i stopped in yday to get the free photo collage and decided to browse. they had playtex and always products on clearance for between $1 and $2 dollars a box (pads were $1.09!). i had $2 off coupons for the $1.39 tampons. the cashier was a male manager and i guess since i had a basket full of feminine products he didnt want to argue with me about the coupon being more than the product so he just pushed the $2 coupons thru lol! $3.66 for 3 boxes of kleenex, 3 packges of always pads, and 3 boxes of playtex tampons! great deal!

      • momof3

I love it when you get an uncomfortable male cashier that won't even say “feminine product.”

    • Erinhudgins

Hello all, new to couponing here, I'm assuming that when you list several q's after each offer that all of those can be used in one transaction. Is that correct?

      • Bamabobbie

No only one mfg C can be used and if there is a store coupon you can use the two together. Just use the mfg coupon first before the store coupon.

        • DebTN

Jenny lists all the coupons available for that product and where those coupons came from. You will only use one manufacturer's coupon per item, and hopefully you have in your possession the highest value coupon she has listed.

    • Finkjamie

I have a question. If the item is B1 get 1 50% off and you have a B1get1free coupon, do you only pay for the 1/2 off item or do they take of the cheaper one?

      • Jennifer

My Wags takes off the full priced item when I use a b1g1 on a b1 get 1 50%.

    • momof3

Okay, all…I went to Wags after church to get some of the Motrin…The ad states “Motrin IB, but the photo is of PM…They said it wouldn't work for IB, even though it's what is written…Anyone else having trouble with that one????

      • Bamasaver

I couldn't find any 20-ct…smallest size on the shelves was 24-ct…looked everywhere. I would think that the RR would probably still print though.

      • The only kind I bought was PM and it worked.

    • Just a head’s up! I was able to do the following today:

      Motrin IB Pain Relief, $3 {buy 2}
(use) $6/2 Zyrtec, Pepcid, Motrin or Precise, exp. 4-30-11 (SS 01/09/11 #2)
(& use) $1/1 Motrin IB or Motrin PM Product, exp. 4-30-11 (SS 01/09/11 #2)
      + $1 or more filler {I bought a newspaper}
      Receive $3 RR

I attempted the second coupon just to see if it would work. The cashier was really helpful and said it beeped only because I’d already received the Motrin for FREE but mentioned that if I added a $1 item it would take it. She scanned the newspaper {$1.25} AND THEN the second Motrin coupon worked! I paid $.25 for (2) Motrin and a newspaper PLUS received the $3 RR… and then I kept on going.

      Hope that helps someone out!

      • carrie

How were you able to use two separate coupons since one of the coupons is $6 off of 2 products?

        • My thought was two products = two coupons. The cashier told me that I could use an additional coupon if I provided an additional item. I followed her lead. She scanned the two motrin, then the $6/2, then the newspaper, then the $1/1 coupon.

      • Bee

I'm sorry, but I feel this is taking advantage of the cashier (as well as the system) who only knew to match number of coupons with number of items. In order to use all those coupons, you would have to purchase three of those products, not an unrelated product. There's really no question about the validity because it's not even a B1G1 where it may be subject to interpretation.

I mean, it's a MM anyway, so why push the envelope?

        • I'm sorry you feel that way. The cashier told me what was permitted and I followed her lead. I'm very cautious about following the policy and not taking advantage. I really appreciate the drugstores and their coupon friendly employees that help me save money each week. :)

          • Bee

Ok, well I was just very pleased with the opportunity to get $3 when I had spent no money whatsoever.

I know some consider that we are not out to police the cashiers, but I have had to point out mistakes on occasion. If I am going to make sure they give me what I am due when they are wrong, then I think it works the reciprocal way as well. When/if she finds out what she did was wrong, she may get a little more wary of everyone, thus creating one of those cashiers we all love who mistrusts people without giving them the benefit of the doubt.

My cashier was so impressed with the Motrin deal that I left her with 2 of the $6 coupons which she thanked me again and again for.

    • Heather

Heads up! My store had $1 off peelies on the nasal spray! :)

    • Susan

Great day at Wags! I did 6 transactions, Connie was my cashier, and she was very very nice and I did let others in front of me between transactions. I started with zero RR's, left with 4 RR's.
      I bought:
      6) Motrin PM
      2) Colgate Total
      2) Baby Magic
      2) Poly Grip
      2) A&H Laundry Detergent
      1) Simply Orange Juice and 1) Huggies
      9) .10 fillers
Paid $1.09 plus $4.84 tax. Everything went so well :) I almost forgot where I was (LOL). Just kidding my Walgreens is pretty great!

      • Cluckie

Susan, I also had a great day @ Wags, but wanted to know what kind of .10 cent fillers you are able to find. Kinda new to this, but never seem to find anything for .10 cents. Any advice next time I'm in a pinch for a filler.

        • Susan

Today, I lucked into everything Val-Day was 10 cents. Look for clearence items, pencils, leftover Holiday items. Cruse your store and if all else fails I get food, newspaper, TP, things I can use. Hope that helps?

          • Cluckie

            Thanks for the advice!

    • Carebearandrea

I went today with my hubby. He was highly impressed and amazed!!!
FYI….. My NasoGel Drip-Free Gel Spray had a $1 peelie on it so it was a $1 money maker!!!

    • sarahsaver

Make sure to not use the RR you receive to buy another of the same item bc it wont print another RR. I wasnt thinking and used it in my next transaction and it wouldnt print another.

    • Ronda

I've got a question.I went to Walgreens today and bought the Aquafor lip treatment-RR 4.99,polygrip-RR 1.99,colgate-RR2.99 ,Thereaflu warming liquid -RR1.00.Ok that comes to 10.97 in RR. I only got back 10.00.When I questioned the manager he said because I had coupons for those items I did not get full RR reward. That makes no sense because I got full RR for the motrin and I had coupon. What does everyone think?

      • Jennifer

sounds like you did not get the $1 RR on the Theraflu. Check on the bottom of the RR and sometimes it lists the manufacturer that the RR came from to see which one is missing.

      • Ali

Aquafor is only a $4 RR.

      • Tammyohagan

It has been my experience that ANYTIME the RR don't come out as expected OR if the cashier and/or manager are clueless the standard reply is “because you used coupons”! I had this happen to me several weeks ago (again) but the manager was frustrated when his standard “because you used coupons” didnt work when the cashier told him I hadn't used ANY coupons! (this was at Krogers though, not Walgreens.) I have had this scenerio play out WAY too many times.. standard issued reply… “because you used coupons!”

    • Diidknight

I can't find the motrin or baby magic in my sales ad. I live by Chattanooga, tn. Does different areas have different ads? Or, maybe I'm over looking it. Can someone tell me what pages they are on, please. Thanks.

      • Jen

In South FL…the Baby Magic was on the back page of the little cover that comes on the actual ad (my store also had a big display at the front with these products). Hope this helps!

      • April

Jen is right Diidknight, there's a half page “wrap around ad” that gets easily separated from the full size ad … especially if you flip through fast. It's there for sure though (I'm in the Chattanooga area too)

    • Jen

I know that I should not complain and that I should be greatful for the amazing couponing deals….BUT….I just came back from my local Wags only to discover that they would no longer accept internet printed coupons. I tried to use the $1 off Arm & Hammer coupon and they said that they would no longer accept them! It is frustrating when some people that engage in fradulent behavior have to ruin it for the rest of the couponing world.

      • Kristen

That is truly unfortunate. Time to start visiting a new Wags. The coupon policy on the website clearly states: “Walgreens accepts valid internet/print at home coupons.”

    • rachel

I'm confused. I tried to do the scenarios exactly as listed, but when I did (2) Motrins and handed over my $6/2 coupon, the cashier said I couldn't use it because the RR were like manufacturer's coupons. Is this a regional thing? I never seem to do the Wags transactions right, and I end up spending much more than I want to.

      • Amelancon

Should have worked 2 motrins. One coupon and RR as a coupon. Should work. 2 items and 2 coupons. You just can't have more q than items.

        • rachel

Next time maybe I will have to be more assertive. This one cashier almost always messes me up.

      • Were you paying with an RR? If so, you would have needed one filler item. That is because your $6 coupon attaches to both Motrins. Since RR's count as manufacturer's coupons, you need an item for it to attach to. Otherwise, I believe your cashier was mistaken.

        • rachel

          Was not using RR.

      • Tracy

It won't work cause the $6/2 covers the 2 items so you would need a third item to use a RR with that purchase… plus the total was 0+tax so whatever RR you had wouldn't work cause your before total was already 0. Why waste the RR on $0.48 anyway? At least that is how it is at my Wags. They are very strict here for some reason… and that is what they told me when I tried to buy colgate, 2 dentyne ice with 1 colgate coupon and 1 dentyne ($1/2) coupon plus a RR. I had to have a filler despite having 3 products with 3 coupons. Some Wags are just picky like that.

    • Kli1984

Does your Wags not require 'filler' items to get these deals to work? ie. if I use any RR and only buy 1 item, it won't print. If I buy one item and use a coupon it doesn't work. I'd love it if this policy has changed b/c it makes me crazy. :)

      • Tracy

My Wags started doing that too. Last time I went (like 6 months ago) it would print one as long as the RR was from a different product… but now if the item cost $3 and I have a 3RR I won't get another RR unless I add a filler to the transaction no matter what the product is.

    • Jennifer

There is a $1.99Q for cottonelle fresh wipes in the Wags ad, I used that and a manufacturer's coupon off of 2, made them $1.49 each and I received an RR for $1.50 making them .75. I didn't not see anything in the ad or the store for this RR.

      • Andrea

I got that great suprise at my Wags also!

        • thebigredpot

this is a catalina out right now!

    • Exsquid22

Hello everyone, I have a quick question about stacking coupons with this B1G1 50% off on Gillette Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant 3x or Body Wash, 12 or 16 oz., B1G1 50% off at $4.49 sale. Could I technically purchase the following, AND use all of the following coupons for the transaction? Total is 4 items and 4 coupons.

      Buy 2 deodorants & 2 Body Washes
      —–> = 2 @ $4.49 & 2 @ $2.25

——-use (2) -$2 off Gillette body wash, excl trial size, PG 1/30 (EXP 02/28), PG 2/27 or Booklet in select PG products
——-use (2) Free Gillette body wash WYB deodorant, excl trial size, PG 2/27 or Booklet in select PG products

Really can't see why it would be a problem but I am new here :) Any support on this would be MUCH appreciated! Thankyou

      • You probably will not be able to use the $2 q's and the WYB q's because they are both for the same item. If you have any $off q's for the deo, you may be able to use them.

    • Redabecnoodle

Does the $6/2 Motrin Coupon work on regular Motrin or just P.M?

Great day at Walgreens despite how much I dislike the store. Bought 63.53 and paid only 9.29 for it all in 6 transactions. Started with 0 RR and ended with 0 RR.
Huggies Diapers, Schick Razor, Baby Magic lotion, Colgate Tpaste, 2 boxes of Lipton tea, 2 Motrin PM, 2 Dentyne Ice, and 6 Cloverhill doughnuts (40 cents each)… granted it took 30 minutes to check out cause my RR wouldn't print out and they had to refund the transaction and do it a different way… yada yada yada. Which is why I rarely shop there but this week was too good to pass up cause I needed all of it. I couldn't find a 10 cent filler. My Wags wont let me buy more than one item for the RR. Meaning if I bought 4 boxes of motrin in 2 transactions… they would throw the RR away and not give it to me or just refuse to ring it up all together.

      • Bauercandace

Call Corporate!!!! Mine did the exact same thing to me this evening, only to a whole new scale! Bought Baby Magic, got the $3 RR. No problem

Then bought Nasal Spray, Gillette Razor, and 2 Crest mouthwashes and a chocolate easter egg for filler. I used the coupon on the package of nasal spray, my $4 off on the razor, and two $2 off coupons for the bottles of mouthwash. Total was $13 and some change. I used my $3RR from the Baby Magic and $10+ in cash. I should have gotten three seperate RR- $5, $4, $2. The woman took them off of the machine and balled them up!!! She told me that I couldn't get them because I had paid with the $3 RR!!!!! I was furious and had her call the manager over, and he said the same thing! I called corporate right there in the store and told them what happened and they were appalled! Our local stores definately need some schooling from their corporate offices!

    • lowcountry couponer

went in this morning for just the baby magic, aquaphor, & motrin. Besides my RR for those I also recieved a Q for free poise pads (up to $6 value) and $1 off colgate total, which made this freebie a $1 MM! Went back and got my poise and toothpaste and machine printed out identical q's again!

    • Lzbacnik

The Anti Aging Total Body Defence is a money maker. I bought mine and received the $10.00 RR. When I opened the box there is a $ 1.00 coupon. So I plan on going back to Wags tomorrow to get another box and use the coupon.

      • SKMsMom

Where did you find you find the Anti Aging Total Body Defense. I looked at my store, but was in a hurry and didn't have time to ask.

    • Ladysavannga

Trying to print coupons from the Walgreens website but I keep getting a trojan virus warning. Is anyone else having this problem?

      • Bradleyj120

mine is doing the same thing!

    • JuneSummer96

The Nasolgel had a $1 off coupon on the box so I made $1 on it.
I used the $1 off Walgreen coupon in the Diabetes and You and the manu coupon
in it so I made $2 per tube of toothpaste. I used the $3 to buy Deerfield Farms Pistachios that are on sale for $3.

    • savingmom

I also had a good day at Walgreens , I went to two stores one in the am and there late in the evening
      6 packs of huggies pull-up
      1 pack of huggies diapers

    • Tiff715

I had my first good trip to Walgreens yesterday, BUT on the last transaction I had a problem and didnt realize it until I got to my car. I bought a pack of Huggies @ 8.99 and 3 fillers (candy for my son, $.32, .37 & .59. I used $2.00 man Q, and 3 $3 RR and my total was $2.91, which I knew shouldn't have been right, but I paid and went to my car, it was then I realized there was a 3.00- (2) then a 3.00 then another 3.00- (those are the RR comming off of the transaction, BUT one was a positive showing that one of the RR was voided) I went back in and the cashier said it was because the other items were to low in price for the Q to attach, so I told her that since it didnt take the RR then they needed to give it back. She got a massive attitude with me, and I was super nice the whole time.
Has anyone else ever had something like this happen?

      • Krisk

I'm not sure but maybe your total before coupons was less than your man q plus RR's? I would ask to speak to the manager next time, bc a lot of the time a cashier will say anything to make u go away! Sometimes I feel stupid making a big deal out of a couple dollars, but it takes a lot of time to plan these shopping trips, si it's worth it

    • SKMsMom

Can someone tell me where the Applied Nutrition Anti-Aging Total Body Defense and the NasoGel Drip-Free Gel Spray are located in the store? I looked in my store but couldn't find them and just thought they may have been out.

      • Exsquid22

I have only ever been to one walgreens before, so I am not sure if they are all set up the same, but I had to ask for the Nasogel spray. I was informed that it was a new product and it was not located with the other nasal sprays. It was on the top shelf (hard to see) above the motrin/pain pills. Sorry if this doesn't help, but I believe you may just have to ask :) Not sure about the Body defense

      • Heather

Mine was located on an end cap near the pharmacy

      • ireneY

The NasoGel was near the cold/flu meds. Look out for $1 pink round peelies right on the package! :)

I looooooove Nivea too! :) What BOGO nivea coupons are you using? I had some but think they expired a couple of weeks ago…

        • Mimi

I think I got them form 2/6 paper, there was a lot of Nivea coupons on one page.

      • Kristen

You lucky duck! I saw that Nivea BOGO coupon and got excited, then realized it expired 2/20 :-(

    • Annieven

I can't find the huggies wipes coupon when I follow the link. Does anyone know if I need a certain zip code? Thanks!!!

    • whatshername

I know that you can't use an RR on the same item that you got the RR for in the first place (ie you buy shampoo, get an RR, then you can't turn around and use the same RR for another bottle of shampoo because a new RR won't print). but can you use RRs for products that come from the same manufacturer? If I buy Duracell and get $2 RR, on my next transaction can i use that $2 RR for the venus razors and get that RR to print? they are both P&G. I'm planning a trip to Walgreens today and want to be prepared. Thanks!

      • Dee Dee_FL

as general rule you can not.

    • Bmccarthy422

Our Walgreens add (Shreveport,LA) on page 4 was “buy $15 in Coca-Cola, Planters, or hersey's products and get a $15 coupon.
      Transaction:
Buy 3/$12 – 12 packs of Coke products
      Buy 1/$3 Planters can nuts
      Pay $15+tax

      Get $15 coupon
Return to store and get the same items for FREE!!

      • whatshername

did you do this? Was it a $15 coupon? or was it individual coupons for the different items you bought?

        • Tiff715

Its $15 in coupons, NOT a $15 coupon

        • JaimeMarie

Mine printed out 9 very spacific coupons. I will probably on,y end up using a few of them. So you totally cant return to the store and make the same purchase! :( Coupons that printed for me were:
          $1 off 2 20oz coke products
$2 off an 8 pack of nini cans of a coke product
          $2 off 1 coco-cola zero 12 pack
$3 off any 2 Hershey or Reese's candy 19.75 ozs
$2 off 3 Drops, Reeses Pieces or mini and pieces 8-10.5 ozs
$2 off 2 Planters Deluxe Mixes nuts, Deluxe Cashews or NUTrition 9.75 ozs

$1 off 2 Planters Flavor Grove Almonds 6 ozs or peanuts 16 ozs

      • Mcleodsc

Anyone do this deal in SC? I'm wondering if we will get the same coupons.

    • JaimeMarie

These's a $1 off coupon inside of the Applied Nutrition Anti Aging Box! Yay!

      • Mcleodsc

        Mine did not have one

    • TmeAde

I went to Walgreens yesterday and they were giving out the March 2011 Savings book with over $440 in store coupons!!! The offers are valid between 2/27 and 3/36.

    • momma

I'm new to this and wanted to make sure I understand before I go into the drug stores trying to get these free items…all u do is take the product 2 the front and use your rewards card and it comes up free?? I see where it has a (rr) beside things….that means register rewards right? Someone please help :) thanks

      • Jenifer1999

Walgreens doesn't have a Register Rewards card…. you buy the stuff & a coupon off of your next purchase prints out. For example, you buy the Baby Magic Lotion for $3…. you have to pay the $3 (plus tax, of course) but then a Walgreens coupon prints for $3 off your next purchase of any product in Walgreens. Check out Jenny's getting started guide at the top of the page… it will explain everything. :o)

        • Jullbugg

You can find out more about the Walgreens rewards card at walgreensrewards.com
          Here is some basci info.

          FAQ
          Eligibility, enrollment, and log-in
Is Walgreens Rewards available in my area?
          – Walgreens Rewards is currently available in the following areas:

          • Richmond, VA
          • Kansas City, MO
          • Portland, OR

When will Walgreens Rewards be available in my area?
-If you provide your contact information on our Visitor Registration page we will let you know when the program becomes available in your area.

How much do I need to spend to earn points?
          – You earn 100 points for every eligible prescription you fill. You earn 300 points for every 90-day eligible prescription you fill. For all other items you earn 10 points for every $1 you spend.
There are some exceptions. State and Federal laws exclude some items from earning points. See Terms and Conditions for a complete list of exclusions

Can I earn points on sale, promotional or clearance items?
          – Yes, points are earned for the amount tendered for the sale, promotional or clearance item.

Can I combine Walgreens Rewards Certificates and in store discounts?
          – Yes, you may use Walgreens Rewards Certificates along with other Walgreens or manufacturer discounts or promotions

Are there items that I cannot purchase with my Walgreens Rewards Certificates?
          – Yes, Walgreens Rewards Certificates cannot be used to purchase alcohol; dairy; tobacco; stamps; gift/phone/prepaid cards; transportation passes, lottery tickets, prescription items, or controlled substances purchased from Louisiana pharmacies.

      • MD

No, not exactly. You don't use a rewards card at Walgreens. Their system doesn't require the scanning of any kind of card. Basically, when you go to the register to checkout you will pay out-of-pocket whatever price the item is on sale for. When you get your receipt a “Register Reward” will also print out for you (for whatever amount it's listed as in the ad).

So if you buy something on sale for $3.00, for example, and the ad says you're supposed to get $3.00 Register Rewards… you'll pay $3.00 at checkout but also leave with $3.00 in Register Rewards that you can use towards your next purchase at Walgreens. You're paying $3.00 cash and getting back $3.00 Register Rewards, so ultimately it's like getting the item for free…

        • momma reply 2 MD

oh oh gotcha…thanks….I was thinkin that was way 2 easy…haha….the register reward is like a coupon to come back and get the same item or anything else $3.00?? Almost like a b1g1 free deal?? With the motrin IB profit deal…can u explain that real quick too :) I'm bought 2 go there shortly! :)

          • MD

Oh and as for the motrin deal, basically you'll purchase 2 boxes for $3.00 each at the register ($6.00 total). If you have two (2) $1 off manufacturer's coupons and use both, your subtotal will be $4.00. You'll get 3.00 register rewards which is like getting the motrin for 50 cents each. If you have one (1) $6/2 manufacturer's coupon, your subtotal will be $0.00. You'll still get 3.00 register rewards which is like getting a 3 dollar credit in the end.

      • Jullbugg

If you are in one of the test areas you do have a card. There are 3 test areas. You need to check your local add and see if you get a register reward or points for your sale items. Not all areas have the same ad or offers.

    • Artlady8

where do I get the infant care booklet?
Also, I found a walgreens calendar on clearance for 2.50 and every month has coupons in it for walgreens – I needed a calendar anyway!! Also, cottonelle wipe in flyer coupon 1.99 and a couple weeks ago 2.00 coupon off cottonelle wipes printed off there so i got them free today! – great for potty training

      • Cedarhillcabins

The Infant care booklets are normally in the pharmacy area. I have some extras if you are interested. You can email me at cedarhillcabins@yahoo.com and tell me where to send them.

      • I asked the cashier at my store. They had them in the back and brought one out to me.

      • msivory20

Ours were in the front on a table display…had to hunt though.

    • mayqueen79

does anyone know how much the old spice deo/body wash and gillette deo/body washes are? comparing prices with other stores, want to make sure im getting the best deal out there. thanks

      • Kenzbug

My Kroger has the gillette body wash on close out for $2.50. There is a $2 coupon out. Makes them only .50 each. If you have a Kroger in your area, check there. I've seen other comments on here of other people getting them at the close out price too. That's how I knew to look there. Kroger also has a $1 e coupon you can use. Use both and you can get 2 bottles for free.

    • nancycrom

I just wanted to let everyone know about the “Applied Nutrition Anti-Aging Total Body Defense” vitamin , 50 ct., that's free with RR. FIrst, there's a $1q inside the box you can use on it. So I bought one, and opened the bottle right in the store to see what the pills are like. THEY ARE HUUUUGE! (And I take some decent sized vitamins) I actually turned around and returned them right there, there's no way I will swallow those. Wanted to give everyone a heads up on this. :)

      • carrie

Thank you!!! This is always a concern of mine since I don't do well with large pills. I actually used to chew my pregnancy vitamins because of this (the nurse was amazed that I could actually do this because of the awful taste, but I'd rather have the bitter taste than the feeling of a pill stuck in my throat). You have just saved me time and tax $. Thank you!!

    • Artlady8

Also, in greenville newpaper we got a buy a pack of wipes refill get a small pack free, so that could be combined with the 2.00 off the big pack I think??

    • Mycobabe

I'm confused..no surprise there. In scenario transaction #1, it says to buy 2 Motrin and use $6/2Q and get $3RR. Since you are buying 2 Motrin shouldn't you get back $6RR? I checked the ad it does not say limit 1.

      • Bamabobbie

You can get only one RR per trans. If you bought them in seperate trans you would get 2 RR's but can't use the $6 coupon. Still your making $3. using the $6 off 2 q.

    • Just a heads up…that $6 coupon on the motrin shows a 40 count box. They wouldn't let me use it on the 20's in my store :(

      • Heather

My store let me use it, just says off of the following brands, not products, and says excludes trial sizes, should have let you use it

    • Leanne

Any ideas on what to use as a filler item?

      • Bamabobbie

I used the perxiode. Anything cheap will do. Also, I'm getting so tire of not getting my P&G insert and other valuable coupons in my Sunday paper. I've complained to everyone at the Birmingham News and it helped for a while. Also today I was at Wags and ask about the paper. The cashier said he was there to pick them up at 7AM, earlier than usual. What are they doing with these inserts selling them?

        • Jennwllms

I get my Birmingham News delivered and it didn't have the P&G insert either. I've torn the house apart looking for it. At least I know it's common and not just me.

          • Bamabobbie

Well, I've gone from the bottom to the top complaining or almost the top. Now I'm going to start with P&G and see how this thing works. Bham News said a machine does the ads with a 99% accuracy. Well I'm in the 1% that just happens to not get one. And I know lots of others that don't get it. I'm in the Forestdale area of Bham but I was at Wags yesterday in Gardendale that picked the papers up so early.

      • Jen

We have these angel mints by the register at our WAGS for 22 cents each. They are basically like after dinner mints.

    • Zjqtcj

I got my Tallahassee Democrat paper from Walgreen and did not have P&G insert. I'm in Tallahassee, Florida. I have had several times with the paper sold in Walgreen because there are always something missing.

    • Taacoupons

For filler items, check down the candy aisle. My store had fizz skittles marked down to $.22

    • blondie101

I tried to get the Gillette Fusion Razor with my $4 coupon and the cashier told me that if you use a man. coupon at Walgreens it will not print Register Rewards…..is this true? I told her to keep it……

      • Mcleodsc

        Not true at my WAGS

        • Ericahbrinson

That is not supposed to be true, I have been fed that line a few times, but you should ask to speak with a manager. You should absolutely get your RR even when using a coupon. How you pay for an item has nothing to do with what prints out. I was told this one time, since my RR did not print, and I asked why, she said that reason. I think the catalina machine was just out of paper or something. I called Cataline Marketing directly, and told them, gave them all the info on my reciept, and I got my RR in the mail yesterday ;0

      • Susan

blondie next time I would show her in the sales paper where beside almost every item that has a coupon available that walgreens advertises the use of a coupon plus the register reward.

      • Jen

If you are purchasing two like items the second RR will not print. Same goes for using a register reward for an identical item being purchased, RR will not print.

(Example – purchase a gillette fusion razor w/ man. coupon, get register rewards) Purchase a 2nd gillette fusion razor w/ coupon & redeem register rewards (seperate transaction) – no additional register reward will print).

The way to get around this is do seperate transactions for each like item so you can get all of your RR. Then use your register rewards for other items in the store (only limitation is the gillette razors since that is what the RR was for).

        • arc

I am confused on this one! I bought Fusion razor & nivea & .39 cent filler. I used 4 mfg Q Fusion, 4 RR from Auqafor (??). I only got the 2 RR for Nivea. I ended up returning everything. Lead Cashier was terrible – even employees rolling eyes – she claimed because I use a Mfg Q and a RR the new RR did not print. I am confused on this deal! I got home and noticed some of the RR have an actual “thank you from cotonelle” and others just say thank you and an amount for the RR. Are there two types of RR? I really want the razors at the lowest cost and and RR to print! Help!

          • Candie

If I'm reading this right, you bought 4 Fusion razors, nivea, and a filler item. You will only get 1 RR because there is a limit of one per offer. I learned this several months ago when I tried to get Electrosol, I had 4 of them with 4 coupons and only 1 RR printed. After talking to the manager he stated it was only one per transaction. I should have done 4 separate ones and I would have gotten all 4 RRs. I hope that helps!

          • Nita Royal

Just do them in separate transactions next time, and don't use the RR from the Fusion to buy another razor, or it won't print again. The fine print on the yellow tags at my store say that it's 1 RR per item, per transaction.

      • Bee

This is one of those answers they pull out when the RR glitches. You pretty much have to insist you know what you are doing. I just tell them I have been doing this for over a year and that's not the way it works.

    • Jen

When we go couponing at Walgreens, at times we get Rewards Bucks. The store claims that it is a manufacturers coupon and because of that it cannot be combined with other manufacturers coupons. Since then we have learned about filler items so we can combine. But, my question is, is that can you take your walgreens coupons to another store such as Publix and use them since these are manufacturers coupons?

      • Ericahbrinson

My Publix said no, but I hear there are Publix's out there that will, I think it is up to the store manager.

      • Bamabobbie

Ihave used more than one in the same transaction at Publix. They do say they are mfg coupons so I believe Publix will get their money back but have never ask.

      • nancycrom

Some Harris Teeters take them also.

      • firstbrownie

I have used them at CVS before (some that were about to expire). They are manufacture coupons (not just “claims”). The barcode starts with a 5 just like a manufacture coupon, too.

    • arley

the carefree printable coupon link also has a $3 off KY product

    • MCLEODSC

I popped into WAGS this AM just to see if there was any Colgate or Motrin left. NO Motrin but SURPRISE -everything had been restocked except the Baby Magic. Just yesterday they said they would not have any more RR items until the truck came in on Thursday. Someone, actually more than one employee, FIBBED BIG TIME!!!

      • Kourtenay

I had a couple of Walgreen employees fib to me today too…saying they have a truck coming in later today or on Thursday. When in actuality they get there trucks on Friday in our area .
One manager even said they would keep the Motrin and Baby Magic in the back to make people “Think” they were all out and only give them one if they asked him for them.

        • Katie

Hmmm…I think my Walgreens might have done this to me! When I went in to get Wag diapers when they were on sale, there were none left. I went to a cashier to ask when they would be getting more back. She called and asked her manager. The manager came walking out of his office with one bag of diapers in the size I needed and said that was all they had. Now why would he have had the diapers in his office? Very strange.

          • Mcleodsc

It is like they do not want to sell anything, which is crazy because that is how the store makes money and they keep their job. Some times when I really, really need something and they are supposedly out, I just go down one block to the Dollar General or CVS and spend my money there. They are losing sales with their stupid games.

          • guest

maybe they didn't want people cleaning them out. Thats what most couponers do. Gotta save some for other people! I think its a great idea!

    • Kourtenay

Okay..I'm so frustrated! I went to 4 different Walgreens and each time they were totally out of the Motrin and Baby Magic wash. Thanks to some who decided more was better and took them all in one clean sweep….UGH.I would have been happy with one and couldn't even get that! :(
A few cashiers told me they knew of a couple of people that she overheard say they would be going to ALL of the nearest stores and clean them out…which makes me wonder, if people do that, how much longer will companies give us these good deals?…Seems like there's always someone out there to ruin things for the next guy. If there were only ten left..I wouldn't grab them all up for myself…geesh!

      • msivory20

I totally agree. I was having this exact discussion with my Wags cashier this evening (very coupon friendly).
Seriously people? Do you need 10 boxes of Motrin right now???
        I just wanted 2…..such a pain :o(

      • Guest

I totally agree. I am an employee at walgreens and i see this all the time. I wish we could limit them but our manager won't let us. People who actually need the product never get them because of selfish people. I mean what the heck are they going to do with $90 in RR. You only have two weeks to use them. Maybe walgreens will change this soon. We are undergoing a lot of new stuff.

    • Ape2658

40 ct Tampax tampons were on clearance for $1.79. Used the $1.00 off coupon from this past Sunday. Got two boxes (80 tampons) for $1.83!!!

    • Thecouponexperience

personally I think Walgreens is not “couponer” friendly. CVS is much easier since they don't consider their ECB's coupons, but rather “cash” towards a purchase. I hate having to think about a filler item to make sure I can use coupons plus my RR's.

That being said, my Walgreens (Charleston, SC) is GREAT about customer service and stocking. If I can't find something, there is always an associate willing to look in the back for me and pull out what they have. Even got a raincheck (without asking) for Charmin a few weeks back.

    • Daphne

went to wags a few minute ago and bought the Motrin used the $6/2 mfc and no rr printed what happened r u sure this items is on sale not posted in the ad manager said it's not on the RR deal for $3 is there a certain Motrin I need to get

      • Kristie

It is Motrin PM that you have to purchase for RR's….

        • Paige

And it must be the right count of Motrin – 20 ct and not 24 ct.

    • Julie

Do all walgreens not offer the same deals? For instance, my add states Baby Magic $3 get 25x points…no register rewards. What does this mean? Thanks for the help!

      • Mcleodsc

You are in their “TEST AREA” I don't know much about it but have read some posts here and on a couple other couponing sites.

    • Jen

I was so excited to go to Walgreens this week! I got 2 bottles of Motrin for .56 cents! What a deal, the cashier even looked at me and said “Is that right?” and I said it sure is! I also got a bottle of vitiamins, 3 bottles of olay body wash(unadvertised 3 for $12 with $3 RR), Nivea lip gloss and my son a coloring book for $11.51 and I have $2 RR to use next week!

    • Wilto

Here's the deals I have this week. I love weeks like this where money is to be made. The cashiers are always suprised to see a young man like me couponing! Below are my transactions, I threw away the receipt but here is what I did. I bought poligrip this week only because it helps me get above certain amounts for the exsisting RR I already have.
I would like to donate it but not sure how I would do it, would it be strange to walk into a nursing home and say hey here is 2 tubes of poligrip!!

      Transaction 1
      2 Motrin at $3 each
      1 Poligrip at $1.99 each
      1 Hubba Bubba 32c
      = $8.31
Used (2) $1 off Motrin and $1 off Poligrip
      5RR from last week
Out of my pocket = 31c plus tax!! Got back $2 RR and $3RR

      Transaction 2
      Colgate Toothpaste at $2.99
      Poligrip (lol!! I'm 23) at $1.99
      Hubba Bubba at 32c

      Used 75c off Colgate
      Used $1 off Poligrip
Used $3 RR and total out of my pocket was 50c plus tax.
      I got back $3RR and $2RR

      Transaction 3
      4 Gillete Gel Deoderant
Used 2 BOGOF from PG which expired 2/28
They were Buy one get one half price in store also.
      I paid $5 plus tax.
I just took the hit on that one and saved my RR for other RR purchases

      • Theresa

Start a donation box. I have one. When it fills up, take it to an adult day center or a local church who has a soup kitchen or homeless mininstry program. I have a friend who works in an adult rehab/day center. She loves these kinds of items. Her consumers cannot afford basic necessities but she can give them something out of the box if they need it. She really likes women's personal hygeine items and deoderant.

      • Wsult3

Look for a place like “Senior Services” in your area. You can donate things like that and they will make sure they are distributed correctly…

    • Exsquid22

1 quick question for everyone. If I was to buy 1 product that cost 2.99 before tax, could I use 1 $3 RR for this item? Or MUST my pretax total exceed the RR? I am not worried about losing a cent or two just trying to refine my purchases. If you read the $RR literally, it says the total must exceed the RR. Anyone know for sure? And yes my store will accept 2 RR for 2 items, providing no other coupons are used :)

      Thankyou all

      • Mcleodsc

It depends on the cashier. I have had some tell me they cannot adjust the price or coupon but I have had some that knew how to do it.

        • Wisdomqpon

they aren't supposed to adjust price of of RR. I work there and many have lost they jobs over these things. You must spend all RR and must have a item for every coupon.

          • Mcleodsc

I think they actually adjusted the price of the coupon down to 2.99.

    • Usmcbc78

How do the RR's work? Do I get them right at the time of purchase or do I have to pay full price for the purchase and then use the RR for the next purchase? Thanks for the help in advance!

      • Bamasaver

You pay full price, minus any coupon(s) you might have, & get the RR after your receipt prints.

    • Soniac803

where are the all month deals for march at walgreens jenny

    • Mrs. Ellis

I am so frustrated with Walgreens. It is so confusing to use the register rewards. Every time I go I think I have it all planned out so that I can use as many as possible while still having the new ones print. But so far it hasn't ever worked. I swear it seems like the rules change every time I go! And having to add so many filler items is so annoying and half the time I feel like I mine as well not use the coupon, I am paying the same amount and getting little junk I don't really even want. I now have $10RR, I just want to use them and I am done with Walgreens, unless the sale doesn't involve their stupid RRs.
As for using the RRs, I have heard that some Harris Teeters accept them and some Bi-Lo. Is this just on a by store basis? It seems that they all should since they are “manufacturer coupons” at least supposedly.

      • Kenzbug

I know exactly how you feel. I have been in there 3 times thinking I have the whole thing panned out and end up spending much more out of pocket and each time, the cashier always tells me I have to ad another filler item. Last week, I bought 2 Crest @ $4 each. Had 2 $1 coupons making them $3 each total $6. I had one RR that was exactly $6, they told me I had to ad a filler item, I picked a candy bar there, she rang it up, then said I had to get another one. I ended up paying out of pocket $2, not bad, but that wasn't my plan. I got back $2 RR for my purchase. I was expecting to pay with the change in my purse, instead I had to dig out my debit card. It's been like this the all 3 times I've been. I like CVS much better. No problems there!

      • CCShad

I know how you feel, too. I usually avoid Walgreens at all costs but I have had fun there this week! If you need a filler item, grab one of the freebies – Colgate, Polygrip, NasoGel, Baby Magic, etc.
My biggest challenge this week was actually locating the sale items. Baby Magic appeared out, but was found on a separate display. NasoGel was way up on the top shelf above nasal sprays. Aquaphor on an end aisle display. Applied Nutrition in the middle of vitamins.
Once you “learn their rules” Walgreens is much easier to navigate. I think I will give them another chance!

      • DebTN

I don't know the answer to your question, but I feel the same frustration as you. A couple of weeks ago I emailed Walgreens corporate and plainly said I didn't want to complain about a particular store, I just offered my opinion about their manager's training program and the feeling I had that Walgreens as a corporation did not really want couponers in their stores. I included my name, email, and phone number. The next day I got a voicemail from the manager at my local store. Corporate had forwarded her my email. I guess they did a search on my phone number and found the nearest store. She wanted to know what problems I had been having in her store. I just don't think that's a very effective way to do business. I have $16 in RR that are expiring soon. I plan to use them on items that don't produce more RR's then I am taking a Walgreens break. I try to never say never…

      • SHERRYBERRY7570

IN WALMARTS NEW COUPON POLICY IT STATES THAT THEY WILL EXCEPT THEM!!! PRINT IT OUT AND TAKE YOUR RR TO WALMART!!

    • tinker

Can you redeem more than one RR per transaction?

      • Paige

Yes, just remember they are manufacturer's coupons so you must have as many items as manuf. coupons

        • tinker

          Thanks

    • Sherilturner

I thought Walgreens would give you a raincheck with RRs, but the manager at the Walgreens at 1232 W. Wade Hampton in Greer said he could give me a raincheck for the $3 Motrin, but not for the RRs. Is there a written policy for Walgreens about this?

      • Wsult3

I was told the same thing at my Walgreen's in NC…

      • Sherilturner

I just sent them an email telling them how glad I am that we have a new CVS in town! I am tired of 1. Not finding the RR sale items 2. Sale items not having signage 3. Rain checks do not include RRs. I will not be shopping there anymore!!!

      • Amber

I talked to a manager about the Motrin being unavailable — I checked two different Walgreens in Greenville, SC and both were sold out (went back to one of them after their shipment for the week had come in and still they didn't have it). The manager said that the Motrin was on recall and that I'd be lucky to find it anywhere (after I had already bought 5 of those $6/2 coupons off of eBay)… sad. :(

I hope this at least explains any difficulties in locating it!

    • Geff

Just a heads up… We saw a Butterfinger display in front of the checkout counter in one of our Walgreens stores. They have 2 Butterfingers for $1.59 and a coupons for $1/2 were on the display. $0.59 for 2 Butterfingers is pretty good if you like those.

    • Cokdseha

where can i find lipton tea coupons? i know i've seen them somewhere….help please!
