    Get Back: $4 RR ($1, $3)
  • Total Value Purchased: $29.14
    Total Spent: $5.17
    RR Remaining: $4

This is a great example to explain why it is good to split orders into multiple transactions. If you were to put all of this on the counter you would have owed $11.17 out of pocket and gotten back $10 in RR to use on your next visit. Still the same in the end, but… when times are tight not spending 6 “real” dollars is very important.

    • Nicolesheffield07

does anyone know if the infant care coupon code is still 2488? my stores never have the coupons but they will take the code if i tell them to use the code. i think a few weeks ago it was 2488!

      • Laidbackladyoftwo

I just used the code for the pampers diapers in the same infant care booklet as the walgreens diapers and it worked so it should be the same. Depending on the person at the register my walgreens will let me use just the code to get the deal since none of my walgreens here in charleston, sc dont have a clue about the booklet.

        • Nicolesheffield07

yeah mine didnt have a clue either but i told them to use the 2488 (i think might have be 2422 now that i'm thinking about it) and they tried it and it worked so i got about 6 packs last time but i'd love to get more i'm sure oneone will know the code! i've the walgreens diapers!

      • Lisabluedevil

I was fortunate enough to get the book. The code is 2844 if they will let you use it.

        • Terri

Where did you get the book? Was it from a store? If so where was it located? I asked 2 different Walgreens and the employees didn't know about the booklet. Or did you receive the booklet after signing up for a Walgreens Baby Club…as one manager suggested.

          • Geff

There were down two different isles in 4 spots at the Wags close to here. They were in plastic holders clipped onto the shelves.

            • Terri

              Thank you

          • Terri

ps Please could you give the code for the pampers deal and any other codes for other diapers etc…
            Thank you from Clearwater, FL

            • Geff

              Pampers 5521, Huggies 5519, Walgreens Brand 2844

        • Nicolesheffield07

Code worked at one walgreens but not the other but then again it worked at the one that haf and infant care book was I telling them the wrong code 2844?

        • Nichols_again

Oh I know what q that is and if it's the one I think it is, it's for detergent not FS

      • Caitin

where is the coupon suppose to be located?

    • Heather

Re: B1G1 Right Guard deal: I have constant issues with my Walgreens stores when using coupons. I have no doubt I will have issues with this deal. I tried calling corporate twice tonight to get an answer on if in fact using the B1G1 coupoon on the B1G1 deal makes both items free. No one could give me an answer. I am no awaiting a phone call 'in the next 2 days' from a store manager that MAY be able to help me. Why does Walgreens have to be so difficult???

      • Laidbackladyoftwo

yes both of the items will be free after coupons. basically you buy two and then they ring up the coupon for the original price off one then there system takes the other one off b/c of there in store ad. I did it today with an in store sale b1g1 50% off. basically the same thing except not quite as good a deal. the cashier rang up both items they rang up regular price then she took my coupon and since it was for a free one she put in the price before the sale after she hit the total button the system then took off discount for the second item. I payed only 2.50 for two deoderants. keep in mind this was a b1g1 50 % off not b1g1 so with this deal u will only have too pay tax.

        • Heather

Thank you! I know how it is supposed to work, but my Walgreens always gives me trouble about the coupons. I tried a similar deal before and they told me I couldn't use the coupon because I was already getting one for free!

          • Miriam

Print Walgreens coupon policy to take with you. The B1G1 coupon during a B1G1 sale is a little section of the policy that couldn't possibly be any more clear!

    • Tjaubut

okay soi am a beginer. how many coupons am i allowed to use on one item? for example the Irish springs 3 for $3 and a $1 coupon…. do I print that 3 times? is that allowed? where can I read on how to start this? I'm a single mom and could reeeeally use the help

      • CCShad

At the top of this page, there is a Walgreen's Getting Started Guide tab that will help. In general, most stores allow one manufacturers and one store coupon per item. The Irish Springs is free b/c you buy two for $6, use two $1 off coupons (one for each), and then get back $4 in Register Rewards. Once you get the hang of couponing, you will not believe the savings!!

      • amber renee

if you click on the drug store links at the top of the page, you will see links for the respective stores. click on the one you want, and you will see links to posts where you can read how to do everything, but to answer your questions, you can only use 1 MF (manufacturer) and 1 store coupon on each item you purchase. the common print limit on coupons is 2 per computer, therefore you probably won't be able to print 3, unless you have access to other computers. hope this helps!

        • Peachy_Marietta

I grew up on Wags. However, couponing at Wags is so not worth it. Rite Aid rocks. CVS is awesome. Wags – not so much.

    • c.bailey

ok never again will i go to walgreens! i said it and said it and today i let my friend talk me into going for some free stuff and we were told after the rewards didnt print that if you use a coupon of any kind you will not get reward dollars! wtc?? so i told them if they didnt want to play the game, cvs and riteaid will and i left without anything AND got my man. cps back too!

      • sarahcas

Good for you for getting the coupons back. That is ridiculous, though. I've never heard that if you use any coupons you won't get any rewards. I usually avoid walgreens too unless they have a really good deal on something I really need.

      • Rikafordavid

I totally agree! I hate Walgreen! They often don't print my RR. Hate Walgreen

      • Tessa

that is what they told me too. this week i went in with my plan to use RR to purchase allegra, then use those RR to get pampers. the to get that RR to get more allegra. after the first transaction, nothing printed. she told me if i use a RR i dont get one. then i went ahead, and used a coupon for the next allegra. then bought diapers. a RR printed then. i am mad at WG too. CVS is better.

        • Thesmithsofop

If you read the RR they say that they are good on your next purchase OVER the amount of the RR. That is why you have to get the filler item instead of just rolling from one item of that amount to the next. I never have a problem when I do this.

      • KnoxvilleJenn

Yes, Walgreens is a pain and I think you need a Masters degree in Walgreen-ology to even begin to figure out their system. I have figured it out (at least the Walgreens 101 class) If you must go, here's the rules I've learned:
        a. If you use a Man. cpn, you will NOT get RR back. How to manipulate?
You MUST buy a filler item, even if it's only .20 cents (caramels at the register) and you will get your RR. Easy enough!

        b. You can't use the RR to buy products from the manufacturer that gave you those rewards. I.e. You buy J&J baby lotion & get your $2 in RR. You cannot go back and buy ANYTHING that is made by J&J. You have to spend those RR on a different manufacturer. Another glitch:

        c. If you purchase a product with RR and that product also has RR, you will NOT get those RR UNLESS you buy a filler item. I.e. you take your $2 RR from J&J and go get Irish Spring deoderant that also earns $2 RR when you buy it. No filler item & use J&J RR = No RR from Irish Spring. Filler item (.20 cent caramel), + use J&J RR = RR from Irish Spring & then don't forget you can't use those RR to buy anything made by the manufacturer of Irish Spring.

And that's all folks — Enjoy your 22 caramels by the time you leave the store, BUT you will have RR and as Jenny pointed out, you can now use those at Wal-Mart – so if nothing else, take the RR and go buy milk at Wal-Mart with them — Hope this helps….

        • Geff

Actually, you can't buy milk with the RR, but they spend just as well on other things at Walmart. I'm really liking the RR being accepted at Walmart.

        • biskit0323

I have only been couponing for a couple of months but I have used RR in a transaction with no filler item. Maybe I just got lucky??? I've never been iffy before I read your post. Now, I kinda wanna do a filler every time just to be on the safe side. LOL.

          • KnoxvilleJenn

You can pay with RR regardless of a filler item or not. The filler item is in order to receive the RR from the products you just purchased (assuming the products you bought have RR 'attached to them'), since you used RR to pay for those products. That's a whole lot of RR in 2-3 sentences — hope you followed it… Basically, if what you're buying has RR and you use RR to purchase it, you will NOT get the RR from whatever you just bought UNLESS you buy a filler item along with whatever you are wanting to receive RR from.

            • Bee

Not true, either. I used $3RR from Motrin to purchase $3 Baby Wash and received the $3RR from the Baby Wash.

            • KnoxvilleJenn

Maybe all stores are different — I’m starting to think that with everyone’s comments on here about Walgreens — at my store, they won’t let me get RR from the product I’m buying if I use RR to pay for it unless I have the filler item — I guess maybe to each his own and try it out b/c if your store will let you do it without a filler item, more power to ya! You go! Mine won’t and I’ve tried the 3 stores within a mile of my house — all the same answer…boo!

        • Guest

So you only have to use the 1 filler item right? Like, you don't have to use a filler item for every item you are using a coupon for in the transaction to get the RR? I don't even know if what I'm saying makes sense, haha.

          • KnoxvilleJenn

No, just one filler item (an item that doesn't have RR associated with it, nor are you using a coupon to buy it with – -caramel). You may have 6 products you're buying all with RR “attached to them”, 6 manufacturers coupons to go along with the items — if you DON'T have 1 caramel/filler item, you will get NO RR (b/c you used man. coupons to buy the items). If you just have your .20 cent caramel attached to the order, you will get all of your RR. Just to confuse you more, pay attention to what Rhende77 says above – I totally forgot about that rule – was overwhelmed enough in Walgreens 101 and must've slipped my mind…I.e. for your 6 items, you have 8 coupons (not sure how to accomplish that, yet), but for the sake of the example, you would then need to get 2 fillers (to equal the amount of coupons you're using) in order to get your RR. Hope this helps…

        • Rhende77

Another thing to remember is you can't have more coupons than you have items. That requires the filler items. I love walgreens I never have any trouble getting my RR from them. I have a great store with wonderful employees! (no I don't work for them! LOL)

        • Mt Cabingirl

Hahahahahahahaha loved your post! Very informative and true….I never have any problems with Walgreen but I do eat alot of caramels….now that I think about it!!

        • Rikafordavid

Yes, You always need a filler item at Walgreen. I don't think I want to go back to Walgreen… And Their Catalina print always have a problem too. ALways.

        • Bee

LOL in print it does look complicated. But I frequently now send my daughter who is 16 and she always figures it out without a hitch.

Perhaps, as my 7 year old tells me, we are over thinking it?

          • Bee

Oh, and our Wag’s has a whole row of .10 items by the register to throw in.

    • Katkoupon

Will the 2844 code work on training pants too? ($2 off Walgreens diapers jumbo, (Walgreens Coupon) Infant Care booklet)

    • Brooke

what's the deal with these codes? what is the $ off?
      Thanks!

    • biskit0323

Jenny, on Trans #3, you put coupon – B1G1 Herbal Essences Product SS 3/13 (possibly coming). I just wanted to let you know that I got an email this afternoon from them saying they working correcting the mistake from their newsletter. It is coming out on 3/13. YAY!!!!

    • Rhende77

Does anyone have the zip for the irish Spring Deodrant coupon?

      • Tashamlindsey

it worked under 30328 for me

    • Stacy19792

where do I get the Clearasil coupon??

      • You can get the $2 off when you print the coupon from the link or get $1 off from your Smart Source newspaper insert from January 23rd.

        • Stacy19792

I cant find it on the link… i am doing something wrong i think…

          • Stacy19792

ok I got it thank you so much… You have taught me so much and saved my family alot already and I have just been doing this like 3 weeks….:)

            • Megan

It isn't working for me either, what did you do to get it to work Stacy?

    • Mommyof2

I have a $2 off Advil PM that printed from the register. Can I use that with another $2 off coupon to make the Advil $0.99?

      • Geff

Not if they are both Manufacturers Coupons.

    • Amber

I am so excited they are running the Walgreens diaper deal again! If you get size 2 diaper, it's 6 cents a diaper and if you get size 3, it's 7 cents a diaper! You only need one coupon or one code to get the deal off every pack you buy. They just scan or enter it in after ringing up all the diapers and it comes off all of them, including the free ones!!!

      • Bjessa

Where did you get the coupon from?

        • Thesmithsofop

It's in the Walgreens baby care coupon book, available in the store.

      • Katkoupon

Do you know if this works for training pants too?

      • MelRae

Yes, and if they don't have exactly the size you want and the # of packages you want then GET A RAINCHECK!!! Get the RC in sets of 2 (bogo). Go to different stores on different days and get several (if you can). Then, when you truly are low on your diaper stockpile, you can go to Wags with your RC and your infantcare store coupon and score cheap diapers!!!

        • malou

Are the Walgreens diapers any good? Im a big fan of Huggies. And btw Publix brand wipes 320 count refills were ringing up 3 for $5 yesterday even though the sign on the rack said 5 dollar something per package. I happen to like their brand of wipes.

          • MelRae

I am a big fan of Huggies Supreme (Little Movers) myself. The Walgreens Premium diapers are similar to Snug & Dry, imo. Good enough for $2.50 a pack!

      • Beth

I'm going to get the coupon, but can you explain how the diaper deal works?

    • Frances

Are the store? diaper coupons from the infant care pamphlet reusable ( like the monthly booklet coupons? ) since they do not expire till December 31, 2011. The coupons read ” manufacturer coupons good only at Walgreens. But It's not really a mft q since the code does not start with a 5 or has an address to remit to for credit and extra 8 cents for handling etc….

      • Bjessa

Where did you get the coupon at?

        • Frances

After calling 3 locations and speaking to 2 managers, I found the pamphlets on the photo counter at Main St and Keene Rd in Dunedin, FL.
Then the pamphlets were put on the counter of the register closest to the entrance.

      • biskit0323

I have read that it is reusable. You can use just the code. So, they won't take the coupon from you.

      • Jennifer

Yes you can reuse the coupon until december. Have the cashier scan then give back to you, they can also type in last 4 digits to rgister

        • Frances

          THANK YOU !

    • Ctcjsbag5

No Clearasil coupon, even after signing up. This happens quite a bit when I am trying to use your scenarios. Thanks for all you do but alot of the times the coupons are either not there or have expired.

      • Bauercandace

I got mine just a minute ago with no problem… It's one of the HomeSource coupons. Maybe try one more time?

      • Lisa J

It could be that theprint limit for that coupon has been reached. It is frustrating but the best thing to do is print the coupon when we gets the ad up so you have a better chance of getting the ones you want. Maybe you can get a coupon off of facebook if Clearasil has a page. HTH

    • confused

quick question, out of the 3 drug stores, which one has the best deals usually? my head seems to swell up every sun when i try to get all the deals from every store, and i think i end up spending more money. also when an iteam is b1g1, can i use 2 same coupons for 1 product? thanks…

      • Nita Royal

Honestly, I think the answer changes from week to week. For a stretch, I thought CVS was best, but then there would be weeks with many more/better deals at WAGS. Then Rite Aid started UPs, and seems to have taken the lead lately.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, choose one for the week to focus on. Look for the deals that are most useful to you, and make that your coupon mission for Sunday. Then you can look at the other stores' deals later in the week. It might help keep this fun instead of stressful.

        • confused

i usually shopped at cvs also since its not as confusing but i did notice rite aide sometimes having better deals.. thanks for the advice!!

      • grace

yes, you can use two same coupons on a B1G1. I just did with the lysol this week. but I heard some stores give problems!

      • I personally like Rite Aid because it is less confusing to me. Wags has too many different rules and more often than not the RR don't print for whatever reason. At my local CVS the items that end up being the best deals are always cleared off the shelves before I can get there.

      • momof3

I'm a CVS fan, but I like the WAGS near me as well, so I'll go there when the deals are good…

    • Mommyof2

Yet again unable to find the $1 off Irish Spring D.O. on coupons.com, I googled it again and it brought me to this website. http://irishspring.promo.epriz… I registered and was able to print the coupon!

    • Cathy5kids

Anyone know where you get the infant care booklet?

      • Daisy

I got mine in the store. Right next to the regular ad. Easy to find. Hope it is for you too!

      • Jessicahurff

I found mine in the baby aisle

      • Amanda

Found mine in the vitamin aisle by the prenatal vitamins…

    • Katkoupon

Sorry to repeat my comments, but I can't find an answer anywhere…DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE INFANT CARE COUPON CODE FOR WAGS DIAPERS WILL WORK ON THE TRAINING PANTS??? Thanks so much!

      • Whitneysparks

I'm assuming that it only works on diapers. I have a booklet and I don' t think it says training pants. I was wondering the same thing:)

        • Renael

I tried it last time it the diapers were BOGO and it did not work. My little guy needs the pull ups as well.

    • SB

I haven't been to Walgreens in a long time because last time I went they told me that I couldn't use mfc and get RR. I asked for a manager and he told me this was the case. But I see that many of you are still doing this. Is it just my store? Can anyone tell me if this is still the case? The Walgreens near me is in Apex, NC on Highway 55.

      Thanks,

      • Jessicahurff

That is totally wrong. If you print out a copy of the coupon policy from the Walgreens website and just keep it with you, it eliminates a lot of issues. Sometimes the cashiers and the managers are mis-informed.

    • Lets not forget the Fruity Pebbles deal Cereal cups. Buy 5 use coupon in add and get back $8 in RRs

      • KT

I tried this today and my store didn't sell them! :( Sometimes I wonder if they take products off the shelves when there is a good deal…many times in the free after RR, products are put in the weirdest places at my store!

      • couponmominflorida

Can you explain the deal? I don't see it listed. New to WAGS but would really love to try it. Thanks for your help!

      • zhuzhu

I tried this 2day but they only had 1 cup. So I bought it and received the $1.50 catalina. What is the breakdown for the RR’s?

    • Mommyof2

I had trouble finding the $2 off clearasil product. I googled the coupon offer and found this website. Just register and your coupon will print instantly!!!

    • Kelc

Where is the awesome deal on the Swiffer pad refills Jenny was saying she got?

      • Nurseamie

It was in this week's ad. If you buy $10 worth of participating products (the wipes were one of them), you get $3 RR back. The pads were on sale in my store for $4.49, so I got to my 10 bucks by buying 4 and using 2 BOGO coupons I had. You'll end up getting 4 of them for about nine dollars, and get $3 RR back. :)

    • bev 37

look @ last weeks ad that ends on 3-12

    • Tangela

On the transacations Jenny has listed, what is the need for the 10 cent filler item?

      • Mary

at Walgreens you can not have more coupons than items, this is the reason for the filler item. You can have an equal ratio of coupons to items or have more items than coupons, but never more coupons than items.

    • Revex

How can i get a catalina – do i need to keep buying things at a walgreens? I want the Irish Spring Body Wash coupon.

    • Tangela

Thanks. I would have not been happy. I'm so new to this it doesn't take much to confuse me.

    • KT

In the B1G1 Wags brand jumbo diapers, can I just buy one and get it at 1/2 price? I tried using (2) store coupons for last wk's pampers deals on 2 jumbo packs and they said “1 per customer per deal” so I cancelled it altogether due to needing to packs to get the RR's. Basically if I can just buy (1) pack at half price and use (1) coupon to get the deal and not have more “coupon issues”? Hopefully that makes sense!

      • Stephanie in Bham

At Wags, you must by 2 items on a B1G1 deal

      • grace

also KT, when you are using a wags coupon, you do not need two coupons when buying two items. The coupon multiplies itself depening on how many items you are buying, for example, pediasure this week, it was $5 off, if you bought 2, it took off 10 automatically!

    • Kay Witt

Does anyone know a zip code to get the Irish Spring deodarant coupon? I tried 30328 listed in one of the comments, but the coupon was not there. I will appreciate your help.

      • malou

90210 seems to always work like those living in Beverly Hills need coupons. Anyways, if that doesn't work try 35811.

        • couponmonster

I find that a funny anomaly too!! It cracks me up every time!

      • they are in the paper today as well

    • Mslonas

Ok, Im officially frustrated w/our Wags…..I went in to get the deals from THIS week, and the $1 RR that was supposed to print for the Always pads, didnt…I asked why, she just told me it was because I used a $1 coupon w/it (even though I had a filler item too), and that the RR wouldnt print because of that…Anyone ever heard of this??? I think its just my Wags, cuz they also wont do more than 2 transactions, you have to go to another cashier for 3 or 4…Ridiculous..

      • Faith_werks

I go straight to the Walgreens manager, You can do as many transactions as you need to, but if there's a long line sometimes I do 2 and then get back in line to be nice. But as far as the register rewards go, go straight to the manager they're normally good about it.

      • Cowdens5

I know! We have a wags in Montgomery that won't print rewards if you use rewards to pay! However, our other wags don't do this.

      • Jessicahurff

That is completely incorrect. Just print out a copy of their coupon policy from the corporate site and keep it with you. Sometimes the cashiers are just mis-informed. I have pulled it our a couple of times and been very nice in pointing out what part of the policy I was following, and the cashiers actually thanked me!

      • Leannmlewis

I get nothing but frustration every time I step into Walgreens…I NEVER get all the RR I am supposed to, have to stand there forever while they figure it out. And they will refund, and force out a rr, but Im not comfortable holding things up for other customers. They seem to have very little on the shelf, so I end up with rainchecks. (its a 30 mile trip) I keep seeing people loving them, and getting great deals so I keep trying. I have 9 RR that Im going to use this week on something that DOESNT print RRs and stick with CVS. I have never had a problem with them, nor do they look at my coupons as though they are some foreign currency they have never seen! The savings there just doesnt out weigh the frustration.

        • Malissa

Yes Leann I feel the same way. They make it so difficult with these filler items and half the time the cashiers have trouble figuring out your coupons. I just told someone this morning I COULD WALLPAPER MY HOUSE WITH ALL THE RAINCHECKS I HAVE FROM WALGREEN'S AND !!! CVS! They never seem to have enough on the shelves at all.

I am beggining to think that Publix or Korger's is the way to go and maybe if we all do that they'll get the hint!

They tell me they will re-stock on Thursdays and never do. I've been waiting for these toothbrushes that were on sale for 2 weeks now and they are still not on the shelves as of Sunday morning 3/13/11!

      • bfreeman

No, usually at my Walgreen's if the RR doesn't print, they give me the Catalina phone # or email. Email them and they will mail you QUICKLY a RR for what you should have received at the store. It's a Catalina error.

    • Frugal4eva

I still can't find that Irish Spring Q. Anyone else have any luck? Thanks!

      • Bamagirl43

        Try 35007

    • Tgriggs777

Where can you use Walgreen RR's besides at Walgreens?

      • JJ's Bowtique

        My Publix takes them!

        • Tgriggs777

We don't have Publix here…does WalMart or Harris Teeter or Food Lion? Thanks for the help!!!

      • Sokolsinga

my publix takes them also, b/c they are manufactur coupons

      • Lela

I confirmed today that my Wal-Mart will take them. I sent an email to Wal-Mart corporate, and they had the local store manager call me to say they would accept them.

    • Rikafordavid

Is anybody can explain to me about using B1G1 coupon against Walgreen B1GI?? How many total item do I have to get to make them “FREE”? Thanks…

      • Tdfrazer

That depends on how much you're paying and how much your coupons are. Let's say you are buying 2 windex this last week. They are B1G1. And one is $4.24. You can use 2 coupons $1 each, so you have 2 windex for $2.24. They aren't going to be free. But another item, say a body wash, is on sale B1G1 free and it's a $4.00 item. Well if you have 2 coupons for $2 each, then those will both be free. And of course if you're getting a RR for this item, it changed the scenario completely. Each items is different.

      • I know its confusing but it work At drug stores any B1G1 deal is true B1G1 one so when you use the B1G1 coupon they end up both being free. I just did it. Only paid $.27 tax for 2

      • When you buy two items that are BOGO, the first one rings up full price and the second one rings up 0. Then when you present your BOGO coupon, the cashier should deduct the full price of one, which will make them both free.

    • Bridget

what do you mean by 10 cent filler item?

      • Rikafordavid

I think thats mean, you need to get 1 more item so you can use the $2 RR. From what I know, Walgreens only allow you to use 1 coupon per item…. If you buy 2 Irish Spring Deodorant and You're gonna use your 2 Manufacture coupons plus 1 RR, so you need another extra item (filler item) , 3 item using 3 coupons. Not 2 items 3 coupons….

        • Malissa

I'm beginning to think this is too much work with these filler items.

          • Nanleigh10

Malissa, not too much work. If you get 2 items, you cannot use 3 coupons – pick up a .10 item, then you have 3 items, 3 coupons. Simple as that and worth the while :)

    • Mommy2004

I cannot find that $1 Irish Spring deodorant coupon! I've tried my zip code plus all the ones listed on here…anyone having any luck?

      • Clumsythestral

There are 2 other ways to get the 1/1 Irish Spring coupon as well. You can buy a 2-pack of Irish Spring soap for .99 and get a $1 Catalina for Irish Spring deodorant or you can get a coupon in tomorrow's SmartSource insert. The insert has 2 coupons— a $1 off the deodorant and a .50 off the body wash.

        • KnoxvilleJenn

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this info — I've been searching everywhere!

    • Annette Faber

I am REALLY wanting some whitestrips to whiten my teeth. I'm still trying to figure all this out, can anyone walk me thru the best deal and how to get these? Thanks!!

      • Tgriggs777

I've seen a Walgreen's coupon for $10 off (I think it was last week?) and there's a manufacturer coupon for $10 off that you could use together. That is one way to do it to get $20 off…You could also pay with some RRs (along with purchasing some filler items) and it could really be a great deal. Not sure where it's on sale this coming week though…I think I've seen that same scenario at CVS, too…

      • There is a decent sale at CVS this week. $10 in RRs and a $10 coupon in the paper. If you get a $4/$20 email from CVS, that’s even more savings.

    • Kdc7703

      Tried what?

    • jill

I'm not following how the B1G1 FREE deal on Right Guard deodarant works ? Don't you still have to pay for one? I see the store is running the same deal as the coupon…so confused!

      • I know its confusing but it work At drug stores any B1G1 deal is true B1G1 one so when you use the B1G1 coupon they end up both being free. I just did it. Only paid $.27 tax for 2

        • Sassyc

Mine wouldnt let me do that they said u had to buy one to get one free and the coupon was the same as their deal so i had to pay for it

          • I'm sorry your Walgreens didn't let you.. I do this everytime there is a B1G1 deal.. They are wrong and you can call corp..I always go real early and the cool Sup. is there and he even said “I don't know why other stores deni these We get ALL the money back plus some… ” You might try another Wags… But it should work I do this a CVS as well…

            • Sassyc

Thanks maybe ill try another one ! I was kinda flustered so maybe i can return them and try another walgreens!

            • Lominackkm

Didn't work at the Walgreens in Ballentine, SC either. I just wrote customer service. It just BURNS ME UP when the sale paper directs you right to the coupon!!!!!!!

          • Momma2micah

even their ad points out that there is a “coupon in most Sunday papers” ! I had no trouble. Used 2 coupons for 2 items and only paid tax.

            • Momma2micah

correction….2 coupons for 4 items of right guard

        • couponmonster

          me too!!

      • Nkair19

I know, I am confused too. Can someone explain more clearly:(

        • Bamasaver

See if this helps…you go into Walgreens & pick up two deodorants. Since Walgreens is offering them @ B1G1, Walgreens is essentially paying for one of them & you're paying for the other. If you have a B1G1 coupon, you're simply paying for the other one with a coupon rather than cash. Except for tax, you're basically getting both free because Walgreens “paid” for one & the manufacturer “paid” for the other. Hope that makes it more clear!

          • BMc

I just have to say you explained that so very well!!!

    • New2Q

      I need some help please!!!

I'm going today to do the diaper deal again. This time I have $5 RR, $5 RR and $2 RR. If I get 5 packs of diapers at 8.99 for B1G1 which makes it 4.49 each, then the $2 off Baby Care coupon which makes it 2.49 each. $2.49 x 5=12.45. Can I use my $12 RR and only pay $0.45 or will they give me a hard time with the RR????

      • Tiff715

You should not have a problem with doing that

      • Sheilaryanx1

Remember that a RR is considered a coupon, therefore you need to have 3 filler items like the jello for. 20 cents. Then you will have the correct coupon- item ratio.

        • Sheilaryanx1

Also, items do not ring up half price at wags.

        • Robin

That is incorrect. Walgreen's coupons do not count toward your coupon total so she does not need a filler since she is planning on buying 5-6 items and only using 3 RR.

      • New2Q

This worked!!! The only thing is that I had to add another pack to make an even number for the B1G1 deal. DUH I should have realized that!!

      • msivory20

Yep! Just remember that the Wags store coupons don't count toward your Manu. Q tally so its just gravy on top of everything :)

    • Linda

Went to Walgreens this morning and the young coupon nazi manager, try to tell me I could not use a coupon B1G1 on a B1G1, I had to buy 3 Right Guards. I told her just to keep her stuff I would go to anther Walgreens, And I did and I didn't have any problem!! I wish they would train there Managers! I will call corporate tomorrow!!

      • Janie

I am calling also… had to demand they honor my BIGI coupon and only one store in our small town. To top that off I did not get my RR or the rebate at checkout. I give up on Walgreens totally not worth the fight. form

      • Mjwarrenfamily

Our Walgreens is so frustrating too! About 2 weeks ago with the Cottonelle fresh wipes in ad coupon, it was kicking back an unadvertised $1.50 RR. Originally I bought 2 wipes and got $1.50 back. I went back the next day to just buy one and see if I got $1.50 back and asked her to ring it up to see, she said she couldn't b/c they were told they were doing “too much to help the customers these days and if it didn't I still had to buy it b/c the manager was getting tired of coming up front to re-do items for people.” ???? I told her it is a shame you were told that, b/c in any business customers should be helped.

      • Hammonds4fam

My Walgreens in Sylacauga AL is really annoying with coupons, I always have a hard time. Got so frustrated I left and swore never to go back. Now I drive an extra 15 mins more to the Walgreen in Chelsea, AL and they are wonderful. Do all of my Wags business there now!

    • julie

I have a $2 RP coupon for Purex Crystals in todays paper. Does anyone know if I use it at Wags will I still get the $2RR. Seems like a similar situation I had in the past I didn't get the RR. Are the two related some how?

      • couponmonster

I did it just a few hours ago and got the $2RR!! Raleigh, NC

      • Joy

Worked for me too. Just do not try to get 2 on the same receipt or you will only get 2RR for both.

      • Tlhfgirl

        It worked for me! Athens,TN

      • Dana

It worked for me at my walgreens in Goose Creek

      • Hammonds4fam

Worked for me in Chelsea AL

    • ~Heather~

Renuzit Adjustables coupon beeped, gave them to cashier in right order but they could not figure out what price to put in, had to wait for a manager to come up and look at it and try to figure it out, had to cancel my transaction and re-ring it all and just adjust 3 of them to .78 and 3 to .01, caused a huge line but in the end it all worked out, phew!

      • Mcleodsc

My coupon beeped at CVS and the casheir kept saying she could only enter the price for 2 of them. After I told her to void all 6 of them and give me back my coupon, she got a more experienced cashier to fix the issue. Since you had a problem at WAGS with the same coupon, I am wondering if there is a problem with the coupon. Anyone else have a problem with the coupon?

    • I had a great first time shopping here(with coupons and deals). I usually just stick to CVS but Wags had better deals for me this week. Ended up with 6 of the free bodywashes. She questioned me on it but in the end it was great. :) Thanks Jenny for all the matchups!

    • Jmedina3577

have to share that the $3 off coupon for Purex RP 2/20 works with the $2.99 sale. Had to purchase a candybar to make it work. but, lovin the free laundry soap!!

    • Jen

Does anyone have a zip code for the Purex coupon listed above?

    • guest

I ALWAYS, ALWAYS get nothing, JUST FRUSTRATION every time I step into Walgreens…MOST OF THE TIME I DONT GET the RR that I am supposed to, i have to stand there forever while they figure it out. I have never had a problem with RITE AID OR CVS. Today, in my second walgreens store,( because the first one didn't let my use my bogo coupon on the right guard bogo sale) the assistant manager told that to buy my 4 right guard products I must pay half price of the coupon value. That means $2.24 for two products!! why, if the maximun of the coupon value is $4.49?..she looked so confused, even she didn't understand very well what to do!…at the end I left the products..I'm not willing to pay too much for something that others are getting for 30 cents.

WALGREENS YOU ARE SO COMPLICATED WITH COUPONS! BECAUSE YOU DON'T HONOR THEM HOW THEY REALLY WORK AND YOU ALSO DON'T HONOR YOU COUPON POLICY!

      • Robin

My Publix (in Florida) does that with BOGOs. They make you get 4 items in order to use one BOGO coupon. I don't understand why either.

      • Kingofcash101

you may have to try another store; had no problems buying 4 today; however in my area they rang up at 4.99 and coupon is 4.49 max, So I paid $1 plus tax for 4; not to bad i think.

      • Joy

I always carry the policy with me now as some of the managers do not know the policy with B1G1 sale items with the B1g1 coupons. It says on the policy they will be free~
I used to have trouble with this too. A copy of the policy is at the top right corner of this page.

      • sharonmarie54

Yesterday the clerk told me that a major revamp was under way because this coupon thing was getting way out of hand. The company did not intend for it to be like this….I guess she meant customers actually using them….anyone else heard of tis

      • Sdrgarrett

I know a lot of people get frustrated with Walgreens but I just wanted to say that the one in Goose Creek SC has an awesome manager who is extremely helpful. I have never had a problem there. She is incredible!

        • Dana

Why Thanks lady :P I appreciate my customers like you. I really look forward to you coming in each week for me to help you out. We are a very much a coupon friendly store. Especially with so many of us working there that use the couponing sites as well. And for all of you who don't know this already we do Military discounts on the 1st and 15th of every month. Just show your id cards to the cashiers and let them know you would like your discount. (Though I'm not sure if all stores do it)

        • CCShad

Agreed! I live in Mt. Pleasant but shop the Goose Creek Walgreens b/c they are the best!!

    • Trigerst

My cashier tried to enter my $2 MFG coupon for Clearasil that I printed & said that the register would not take it because it was printed from my computer… Anyone hear of this?
      Thanks!

      • AJ

YES!!!! I get it EVERY time! They say it’s fraudulant! That’s why I try to stick w/ CVS. But if i can save at WAG too I try but it’s the pits!

    • zhuzhu

Was the B1G1 Herbal Essence Product in todays SS?

      • bev 37

        yes it is

      • Alecia_gowers

        yes

    • guest

can you get a raincheck on RR

      • I asked about that the other day and the guy at the store said that the raincheck would only give you the sale price, not the RRs

    • Robin

That is incorrect. Walgreen's coupons do not count toward your coupon total so she does not need a filler since she is planning on buying 5-6 items and only using 3 RR.

    • bev 37

      yes it is

    • Tlhfgirl

Does anyone know the zip code for the Irish Spring deodorant?

    • Jmcgrawmt

Is there another combo that I can use for transaction #1? I cannot print the Clearsil coupon anywhere. I am trying to get the Rightgaurd bodywash/deodorant free. Do I need to use the example in transaction #1, or will the coupons just make it free? I have two coupons for Rightgaurd. Sorry, I am new at the drugstore thing.

      • Tlhfgirl

If you just want the Right Guard then all you need to get it free is the BOGO coupon. You will only be paying the taxes on the 4 that you buy. Not a bad deal huh!

        • Jmcgrawmt

          That's awesome! Thank you!

          • Tlhfgirl

No problem, got the same deal this morning! Happy couponing!

        • New2Q

Is that using 2 coupons for the Right Guard?? I just went in and purchased 2 using my BOGO coupon and the cashier didn't want to help me, but the manager stepped in and after explaining it to him, he gave me 2 for free. Should I have gotten 4??????

    • Jlaleonard

If you need a fast filler. They have silly bands for 25 cents usually by the registers.

    • achmomma

Can I just say that I am getting the hang of all of this FUN.. :) ad I am starting to like it. I went to Walgreens….that's three of them…and all of them cleaned out of stock on the shelves of the new purex crystals. Also, if I have a coupon from the paper and one from the internet, do I insist that they scan the one from the internet that I made from copons dot com and then the one that i clipped from the paper. They were giving me a hard time at Wal-mart about it and said that I couldn't use internet coupons….and I know better. :P Thanks so much… :)

      • Internet coupons and newspaper coupons are both manufacturer's coupons, in most cases. You can only use one manufacturer's coupon per item. At the bottom of all of my receipts from Wal Mart for the past few months, it has stated that they accept internet coupons.

        • achmomma

Yes, I noticed that at the bottom of the receipt yesterday too. That's what I thought but I bought two items and tried to use one on one and then the internet on the second…just wanted a second opinion. I guess I need to just find a more helpful and happy person to check me out next time…lol Thank you. ;)

      • gjf

If the barcodes are the cpns are the same. NO u can not use both, but I have found from my experience w/cpns. If the barcode is different you can use both:) Hope this helps.

    • Flyin71443

where do i get a baby care coupon at for the diapers this week??

      • Kdc7703

I found the infant care booklet with the coupons in it on the baby isle on a shelf.

        • FrugalMama

I'm very frustrated by this… I called three local WAGS and they have none “that they're aware of”. I'm awaiting a response from Corporate. I did look in two stores in the baby aisle and in the usual coupon places, but not a single employee knew what I was talking about when I asked about the infant care booklet. I'm in Tampa.

          • MissesMM

I have stopped by 3 local Walgreens in Georgia and no one knows what this Infant Care Booklet is. The Store Managers have also called around for me. They said that I am not the only one asking for the booklet. Why don't they know about it? Sooooooo frustrating! I have twins at home and any little bit that I can save on diapers, wipes, and formula helps.

            • Sdrgarrett

The coupon code for the diapers should be 2844. I got that from a friend that works at Walgreens. I have not tried it yet but I will tomorrow.

            • Flyin71443

thank you all.. they had no clue what i was asking about when i asked for the infant care coupon booklet. so then i ask if they can put in the code that i got. and they said that they need the actually printed coupon. i not only went to one store i went to 2 walgreens store. both had no luck

            • Dana

It's a shame you can't just get them to punch in the 4 digit number. It's a walgreens coupon. I do it for my customers (like Sdrgarrett)

            • Dee111681

alot of the wags will let you use the diaper coupon with just the numbers off of it i have one it is 0 00000 02844 8 all they have to do is type it in. gl dee

            • New2Q

2844 is what they type in. Hope this helps someone!

            • Amanda P

THANK YOU!!!!! I've been looking for this code forever! I've used it in the past on the B1G1 Walgreens diapers. It works!! Takes $2 EACH diaper pack you buy. I couldn't remember the code so THANK YOU for posting it!!!

      • gjf

Try asking at the pharmacy. I work for walgreens and that is where we have ours:)

    • tinker

To get the BOGO Right Guard free + tax, do I need one coupon or two?

      • Lzbacnik

        one coupon

      • tinker

Thanks. So if I have 2 coupons and want to get 4 products, do I need to do 2 transactions?

    • Kenzbug

I did not get my RR's for the Clearasil Products. Is there anything I can do about it or am I just out of luck?

      • gjf

I would call the store and ask if they are having trouble w/ the RR printing for that particular item. It happens all the time. It doesn't hurt to ask.

    • Kdc7703

When I went to walgreens yesterday I tried to use 2 coupons one is the b1g1 free on herbel essences and also a dollar off because I had two items and the manager said I couldn't use the dollar off one because I was already getting the other one for free.Is this true?

      • achmomma

I don't think that is true, but you never know. I think you should print the coupon policy and bring it with you next time just in case they try to give you the run around. Unless there is something that SAYS that you can't on either coupon or not valid with any other coupon or offer or something. I mean most of the time you end up paying tax or something anyway, it's like they hate to see you leave paying nothing (it feels like that ..lol).

      • ttjjjjj2

I think he was right coz one item is free you do not to pay nothing. So u need 1 coupon. If one of the item was not free them u can use the 2 coupons. and just pay for taxes.

        • gjf

It doesn't matter if one is free. U still can use 2 cpns. I do it all the time. It will work. I have worked for Walgreens for a long long time and I am telling you 2 cpns. will work for B1G1 ofr B1G1 1/2.

          • In this case, I don't think the herbal essence were BOGO. She had a BOGO coupon and wanted to use a $1 off coupon on the one she was buying. Some people say that the BOGO coupon attaches to both items, so you can't use another coupon.

      • gjf

I work for walgreens and it is in there cpn policy that when an item is B1G1 you CAN use 2 mfr.cpns. One for each item. I make sure the cpn hasn't expired and then I scan it. Alot of times the cashier spends to much time reading it and just says no before trying to scan it. I always ask them to scan before they tell me no just by reading it. If it takes it they are getting there money back.

      • I had a problem with that situation a while back. Always have them scan the $ off coupon first. Some BOGO coupons are coded not to allow another coupon. However, some cashiers will push them through. I never have a problem with this at CVS and Rite Aid.

    • Mommyoffive

What do the acorns mean beside some of the items in the list?

      • New2Q

The acorns mean they are free or nearly free so you should stock up like a squirrel does with nuts! :)

        • Mommyoffive

          Well, that makes sense! Thanks.

    • New2Q

I'm a little confused with a transaction I just did.
I did B1G1 Herbal Essences successfully with $1 RR

I also had B1G1 Gillette Item which is already on sale for B1G1.
The manager came over and corrected the error the cashier did and I only paid tax.

(By the way the 10cent caramels are 35 cents in my store!!!)

      Now it gets interesting…
The Old Spice is B1G50%off and I had a coupon for B1G1. Maybe I'm confused but they gave me B1G1.

      Is that right??

The cashiers in my store are so helpful! I just get so nervous when I walk in there and feel like I get confused easily. I forgot to use my $1 RR!! LOL

      • New2Q

        Correction—–
I also had B1G1 ***RIGHT GUARD**** (not Gillette) Item which is already on sale for B1G1.
The manager came over and corrected the error the cashier did and I only paid tax.

    • howie

I did really well on the free Right Guard Deoderants and Body washes. Combined them with a dozen renuzits, 3 free with rhe purchase of 3(last weeks paper), and then at the end of the sale used the ad sale for 79cents each, took 8 dollars off the sale, bought some flip flops on sale and some advil pm, paid virtually nothing. I love Wags.

    • Crtrout

I plan on doing the three scenarios above but I also want to get the purex and olay that is on sale, I also have a $2 and $3 RR from previous trans I did. Do I need the purex/olay and sep trans and can I add them into the first three and still get the RR.

    • New2Q

I am having a Live Chat with Walgreens Customer Service and “she” is telling me that the Right Guard B1G1 Free deal does not work with the B1G1 Free Q. “She” said I could use one or the other… but if I wanted to use both, I had to pay for 2 and get 2 Free.

      This is so irritating!!

      • Misty

I used 2 coupons yesterday, they only beeped because she had to enter the price, I bought 2 body washes and 2 deodrants……

      • CCShad

I also bought 4 RG today, using 2 B1G1 coupons. All were free. It does beep for the price to be entered. They have to write the price on the coupon too. On my receipt, all four ring up as 3.99, then 3.99 is taken off twice for my 2 coupons, then at the very bottom before the subtotal is the 7.98 FREE taken off for the store sale..

It just doesn't make since what c/s told you. I can walk in and pay $4 cash for 2, but they will not accept a B1G1 coupon that they get $4 back? $4 is $4. I am very selective about which Walgreens I do business with. The one in Goose Creek, SC is awesome.

        • BoxerMom

          Which one in Goose Creek?

        • BoxerMom

          Which one in Goose Creek?

        • BoxerMom

          Which one in Goose Creek?

        • BoxerMom

          Which one in Goose Creek?

        • BoxerMom

          Which one in Goose Creek?

      • Andre

She was wrong – their policy clearly states you can do that. Print it out and bring it to them.

    • gjf

The cpn for the clearasil isn't available anymore:(

    • Exsquid22

Can anyone tell me where the irish spring coupon is? Is there a particular zip to use? I can't find it when I click the printable link. Thanks

    • Blingbeads1

Has anybody bought the Clearasil? The ad is very confusing. It says “Sale $2 off” and at the top it says “Get $2 in Register Rewards”. Is the $2 off the RR or is it $2 off and you get the 2 RR? Most of the other RR are listed in a red box but this one isn't. I have $1 Q but I want to know how much it will be first.

      • The sale is $2.00 off the shelf price. Then when you buy it you get a $2.00 RR back. So in essence it is $4.00 off.

      • Melissa

I did this yesterday- bought 1 clearasil for 3.49 used a 2 dollar q and got back 2RR which made it a mm.

    • I think I did fairly well at Walgreens. I had issues with using a RR b/c I bought the Aussie item and the RR was from P&G and she wouldn't push it through, even though I had more than the needed items.

OK So this is how my transaction(s) went
      Transaction #1
      Renuzit Crystals – $3.99 x 2 ($3.00 q x 2)
      Johnson & Johnson Red Cross Tape 3.99 x 3 (1.50 off q)
      Dial Lotion $4.99 ($1.00 q)
      Herbal Essence Shampoo $2.99 ($1.00 q)
      Clearasil Face Wash $2.99 ($1.00 q)
      ($3.00 RR)

      Total before coupons: 33.32
      OOP: $19.82

      Transaction # 2
      Clearasil face wash – $2.99 ($1.00 q)
      Dial Lotion – $4.99 ($3.00 RR)

      Total before coupons: $8.60
      OOP: $4.60

Also got $14.00 in RR – so all together $10.42 for my order!

    • amyt

Just got the B1G1 diapers! I asked for the Infant Care book at the cosmetics counter and they had it. I had a $4 RR and a $1 RR so I bought a Russel Stover chocolate egg for $.29. My total with tax was: $.54. I think I'm slowly catching on… plus the employees at my walgreens have been very helpful.

    • Daiziie

I can't find the Irish Spring coupon either. Can anyone help with the zip code? Thanks!

      • msivory20

I've tried all the ones that have been suggested and gotten nothing. Maybe the print limit was reached everywhere?

      • Jchastun

I got it in my paper in Houston. Try 77090

    • I had an ok Walgreens day, but my local store wouldn't use the B1G1 coupons that I had for Right Guard and Stayfree because they were on sale B1G1 at the store. I was under the impression that you could do that, but they would NOT. I had to buy 3, to get the deal…So I sorta bought 1 got 2 free :/ Still not a bad deal, but not as good as it could have been. Best experience today was Rite Aid. Might have to go there more often.

      • Heather

I just had this same experience from my Walgreens. YES, you CAN use the B1G1 coupon on the B1G1 sale. I had it confirmed through corporate 3 times and by the store manager. A different manager in store today and he refused to take them saying he was correct and everyone else was wrong. I tried to explain the policy and then he got rude. Told me he didn't care what everyone else said because they were wrong. Needless to say, I did not buy anything from that store. I went to the car and dialed corporate to file a complaint, again. I will not be shopping at Walgreens again. This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks this same store (different employees) has refused a B1G1 coupon.

        • gjf

Wow that is crazy. I work for walgreens and we have our cpn policy hanging by the time clock. I read it one day while waiting to clock in and it clearly states that if a product is B1G1 you may use 2 cpns. One for each item. That bites. I hate hearing that:( Sorry for your bad experience.

          • Heather

What's kinda funny too, is that their own ad tells us there is a coupon in the Sunday paper for savings! So they advertise the coupon then refuse to allow us to use it???

      • Kcwandu2

I went to Walgreens today and got the Right Guard deal so sorry that your store is not allowing it. Also, i luv rite aid, i do my best savings there.

      • c. duck

if you bought 3 you should have went ahead and bought the 4th because it would have rung up free. at the drug stores one item rings up full price and one rings up for 0. they just jipped you out of the other free one. it would have rung up zero anyway because of the sale. i would take it back and get the other one or have them rering it up with the coupons and have them call corp. or read their policy that states they accept b1g1 coupons on b1g1 sales.

    • Is there anywhere else to get the B1G1 Right Guard coupon? My RP did not have it!

      • Audgy

My RP didn't have it either. :-( I wonder why…

    • Jmcgrawmt

I got 4 bottles of Right Gaurd bodywash today 4 freeeee! Whoo hoooo! I love this!

    • Jeany37

going to go try the right guard at another walgreens..yesterday the one here wouldn't let me use them..but this time i have printed out their policy

      • Kellyhouse67

I had the same thing happen to me tonite!!

    • Kristy

i am not sure from which paper but I had $3 off one purex cpns. Scored free laundry detergent!!!!

    • Kathryn

Does anyone have the Infant Care Booklet that would be willing to mail me the coupon for the diapers please?!?! Thank you!!!! Also, can I use just 1 coupon for multiple packs of diapers??

      • Ahpeal

What diaper coupon do you need? The W brand for $2? I would be happy to mail it to you.

Also, when I used 1 coupon for the Pampers (from the same booklet) a couple days ago, it took the amount off for each pack of diapers, so you only need one coupon, no matter the number of packs of diapers purchased. Hope this helps!!

        • Mrstanner07

I know that the last time they did this deal all you had to do was give them the code to enter from the coupon.. Can't remember what it is.. Would you be willing to post it for us?

        • Kathryn

I asked at the cosmetics counter & they didn't know what I was talking about. I would love if you could mail it to me! My email is katieann84@hotmail.com. Put “walgreens diaper coupon” in the subject so I don't delete it! I will reply to your email with my address!

        • Ahpeal

The coupon code for the $2 off W diapers is…
          0 00000 05519 2. Hope this works.

Kathryn, do you want to see if this works before I mail you the coupon?

          • Ahpeal

Sorry…that was the Huggies barcode number.

            The W brand coupon number is 0 00000 02844 8.

      • Ahpeal

Ask at the Cosmetics counter. That's where I got mine.

    • Trisha8242

I was just wondering if the store is having a sale for but 1 get 1 50% off and I have a coupon for buy 1 get 1 50% off how does that work? thanks in advance…

      • Alborncarol

i was wondering the same thing

      • New2Q

I don't know for sure.. but it sounds like if it's like the B1G1 Free coupon
+ promo that the item would ring up B1G1 50% off automatically. Then they would scan the B1G1 50% off coupon and they would type in 50% off of the most expensive product. Does that make sense?? So in essence you would get 50% off of EACH product… Right??

        • Donna

          I think it works like this==buy 1 @ 5.00 second would be 1/2 off so 2.50–then
they use the buy 1 get 1 free coupons—so they take of the original 5.00 so both items will now be 2.50 or 1.25 ea.. great deal

    • New2Q

      HELP!!

I have a coupon question that I don't think has been answered yet.

Gillette is a store promo B1G1-50% off

What is the transaction if I have a B1G1-Free coupon?

Does the B1G1-Free coupon override the current store promo? OR Do I get one product at 50% off and then the second product free????

      • Joy

I have done this before. It should be first item 4.99 , plus second item 2.50 minus (-4.99 for your coupon). 4.99 + 2.50 -4.99 = so 2.50 for 2 items. I may be wrong as knowing Wags they may try to take off the 2.50 instead of the 4.99.

        • New2Q

This is what they did when I used my coupons. I'm so frustrated. I will call it a loss this time and try to know a little more next time. I feel like when the WAGs employees see me coming they run because they know I am TRYING to coupon but I'm still learning. The manager is great though ;)

      • Beth

You take two to the counter and you get them both free. I did it today. My Right Guard price was $4.49. WAGS offers one for free and they will be reimbursed for the other one by the manufacturer, so you pay nothing for two.

    • Joy

LOL After reading all these bad comments about Wags and the RR problems, Now I know why I love Rite Aid!! I don't waste my money on all these fillers! Wags needs to step up in the game.

      • Aocmand

        “Like” button :)

    • Crtrout

I went tonight and had a very nice experience! Had no problems w/ b1g1 free coupon, ended up paying $.99 for a deo and body wash but I'm not complaining. They were out of a few thing I wanted but I am going back tomorrow since they have a shipment coming in to try to get what I didn't get tonight. The workers there were super nice and very friendly and patient w/ all my coupons.

    • NC

I went to Walgreens yesterday, took 4 Right Guard deodorants (which are BOGO) and wanted to match that up with Buy One Get One-coupons from last Sunday's paper. The manager told me I had to buy 5 pieces because I had to pay for at least one of them, I could not get them for free! Is this true? What can I do?

      • No it's not.He just was trying to get you to pay more money. You should have said, “You are getting the money back , plus some , when you redeem the coupons.. “
Managers will tell you anything.. You can call Wags corp. office and they will call him…

      • Rlynn103

Had the EXACT same experience at my Walgreens. I didn't purchase the items, and told the manager I would just check with corporate myself. I called customer service, who stated that I was correct! They called the store manager for me, and told her that we CAN use a manf. B1G1 with a B1G1 promotion!!!

      • Kelleyharold

There must have been a corporate-wide issue reported because this morning as I was going to the checkout, the manager gave the cashier a printed e-mail he'd received and asked her to put it at the register for all cashiers. It referenced this exact deal. I got the body wash, which was $4.99 and buy-1-get-1 free. I used a B1G1F coupon. They could only take off $4.49 because the coupon stated $4.49 max, but I knew that going into the store because I try to read my coupon verbiage carefully. I paid 50 cents for 2 body washes so I still thought that was pretty good.

    • Dc251412

i don't see how you got 2 free a-z vitamins. the $5.00 cpn was off 400 ct and those were 24.99. I ended up paying 19.99 for 2.

    • Kdc7703

I just love love love this b1g1 diaper deal with the 2 dollar off coupons I wish I knew about this before now.

    • Crtrout

Can someone please explain to me how to make scenarios/ break orders up to get the most out of them?

      • Jchastun

I personally don't have time to break up my orders, but do shopping at my Walgreens every Sunday (if I don't go Sunday, the deals are sold out quick). I just take my RR on the next visit. I had to make a larger purchase on the first visit, but each visit after just got cheaper and cheaper with all my RRs from the previous trip

    • Kelleyharold

I had a coupon in my circulars this week for $1 off a Sinful Colors nail polish. I got 2 (had 2 coupons) but the register beeped at the 2nd coupon. The cashier noticed that it stated “one offer per customer” or something similar. I hadn't noticed that, so I just said I'd come back another day for the 2nd polish. When I looked at the receipt, it showed where she voided the nail polish. I then noticed than my first coupon had taken $1 off for each of the 2 polishes, for a total of $2, and when she voided the 2nd polish, it added back the $1 coupon savings from that item. If you have one of those coupons, it looks like you can buy more than 1 nail polish and it will apply the discount to each one.

      • Chellepooh

if it's a circular coupon it automatically takes the discount off each item with just one coupon, you are not required to use two coupons for two items. This applies to circular coupons only.

    • guest

the venus razor was on sale for $7.99 at our WG. I had a $5 off coupon & there was a RR of $4… I made a profit!! I was so excited!

    • Linds..:)

Ok…here are a couple of problems in incurred with some items on my list. The A to Z multivitamins that were supposed to be FREE with the coupon from the March booklet…the coupon is for a higher count than what is one sale. The same thing with the diapers that were supposed to be $2.49 a pack with the coupon from the same booklet. We need to double check after to avoid ourselves aggravation at the register…ugh

      • Kdc7703

The diapers are 2.49 a pack I got 6 packs you have to use the 2 dollar off coupon. The diaper coupon is in the infant care booklet.

      • andie98

yeah, I got the diaper deal too. I got one pack per each size to donate to our church to keep on hand for the nursey.

    • Amgtt_18

Ok I have a question, if I buy two Herbal essences products and use my B1G1 coupon with this will I get back 1RR or 2 RR back?

      • New2Q

You will get 1 RR back.

    • Save1moredollar

Is the Infant Care booklet with the $2 off jumbo pack W Diapers still available in stores? I was thinking of going to Walgreens just for this deal (since I need to buy diapers this week anyway) but don't want to go in and not be able to get the coupon. Anyone have a tip?

      • andie98

I think it depends on your store. Somedays mine has them, other days they are out.

      • Lee531

My store has then right in front of the cosmetic checkout.

      • New2Q

Give them coupon code #2844. They do not keep the coupon and it expires 12/2011. It will take $2 off of each package.

    • Slgumm

I am a little aggravated at my Walgreens. Last night I got a right guard bodywash and a right guard deo on sale b1g1 free plus I used the b1g1 free coupon…no problem. Today I went in to get the same thing, and the manager told me that I could not use a b1g1 on an item that was already b1g1. He told me I would have to buy 3, so I just told him I didn't want them. How can 1 store have 2 different policies?

      • faith

Always take the store policy alone with customer care number.

      • gwhiz

Thank you for the heads up, I went to the Walgreens site and printed their coupon policy to bring just in case.Their policy clearly states that you can use a B1G1 as long as there is no overage.

    • Dslekhobbs

Can anyone please explain to me how to get the covergirl make up and lip luxe as mentioned above? I have several buy make up get lip luxe free PLUS pg coupons for save 1.00 on any product. LOVE the make up and the new natural lip luxe is AWESOME! But I dont understand how to get it at that deal?! Help!

    • mel6

well i just got burned on the right guard b1g1 deal bought 4 had 2 b1g1 q's and was told @ register after everything was rung up and in bags that i could not use my coupons so i ended up spending almost $10 more than i planned, cashier was nice about it said she was frustrated because everyday when she comes into work there is a different coupon rule and she was having a hard time dealing w/ the customers getting angry about the changes and it was hard keeping up w/ all the changes…..i would have said nevermind and walked out but she would've had to void it all out and start over + the people behind me were huffin and puffin bout the lady explaining the new coupon rule…..any advise should i just let this go or call main office?

      • faith

I would call customer service first thing in the am. Keep your receipt handy. I had no problem using my b1g1 coupon. Got 4 total. Planning on using them tomorrow with my policy in hand for back up.

        • mel6

Thank you I will def give that a try….don't know if you know anything about food lions coupon policies or not but I think they burned me 2….I had 2 coupons for buy 2 propel waters and get $2.50 off + had a catalina coup for $2.25 off 3 waters I had recieved from food lion earlier that week @ the end of that transaction, I bought 4 pks of water, tried using the two $2.50 off 2 and $2.25 off 3 foodlion catalina coupon they would not take the foodlion coup said I could only use the $2.50 off 2 coups….I have been trying to learn all the rules about coupons for a couple of months now and thought I had read on several sites that you could stack catalina coupons w/ manufacture ones…is that true or did i make a butt of myself?

          • Bamasaver

You can “stack” a store coupon & a manufacturer coupon together. The catalina coupons are usually a manufacturer coupon, so you wouldn't be able to use a manufacturer's coupon & a catalina together on the same items. Sometimes a catalina is a store coupon (but not often)–can stack those with a manuf. coupon.

            • mel6

              thanks…good 2 know :)

      • backwards

oh please what a bunch of bologne… its in there corp coupon pokicy and thats the bottom line go to there website and print for your self

    • Brenda Cortes

On Purex Crystals and Renuzit Crystals they didn't take manufacturer coupons twice….

    • mel6

printed out walgreens coupon policy that clearly states you can use a b1g1 coupon combined w/ store sale b1g1 called manager this morn and was rudely told that i have to purchase a product first before i can receive a free one she went on explainig how it would not be fair for customers to receive merchandise for free…told her how other walgreen stores were accepting the coupon and she just kept repeating you can't get items for free, i asked her to go look up coupon policy she then got even more aggravated and said i needed to speak to her manager who would not be in til later this week…i asked her again if she would take a little time out to go and read store policy so that she could understand where her customers were coming from and ofcoarse she was still rude…so i called main office, the lady i spoke w/ there was very kind said i should have been able to use big1 coupon and the manager should have looked up policy….suppose to get a call back but i wont hold my breath

    • Tgriggs777

I have had it with Walgreens, too. Why do they have to make it so difficult? CVS makes it so much easier. I'm decided I'm going to go in and spend my last RR's and just not go there any more. Yesterday, the receipt was actually calculated incorrectly! I got out my calculator when I got home and it was wrong. They only took off one of my three $2 RRs! They owed me $4. Such a pain. Nothing is easy, it seems! I called the store, and it took me about 45 minutes to speak to a person. After just waiting and waiting and waiting…I finally called the pharmacy to see if they would help me reach an actual person. The manager looked at my order and said she can also see that it comes up short, but she can't know for sure if they took my RRs from me without them actually being deducted from my order. Sounding as if I was trying to dupe them out of $4, she said that she would go ahead and refund me but I needed to drop by there during her work hours. I have trouble every single time…it is just requires too much work and mental energy to bother with that place any more!

      • AB64

Why go back to WG to use your RR”s? Take them to Walmart and use them there! Walmart's new coupon policy allows you to use them at Walmart!

        • Tgriggs777

Yes, I should do that. I had read that they take them…but I am so worried about someone not taking them b/c they say Walgreens, I am just too chicken to try it! I hate confrontation! I have to go there tomorrow…maybe I'll give it a try then. Thanks!!!

          • Frugal4eva

I used my RR at Harris Teeter. No problem!

            • Tgriggs777

I will have to try HT now, since I went to WalMart today and they wouldn't let me use the Walgreen RRs! I wish I had printed the coupon policy and took it with me. I just knew that would happen! Now will it work at the HT here?!?! I wish we could know that all things would work right at all places! That would be couponer heaven.

          • backwards

seriusly try it It works just fine : )

        • backwardsmom

i love that idea to use the rr at walmart and i never shopped jewel until they too started raking the rr

      • Donna

Hand cashiers your coupons and rewards 1 @ a time…..that way you won't get cheated.. I started donig this after being cheated @ Walmart….The store cashiers always want to grab them, but I say NO, that I have been cheated to many times.

    • Wendygdwn

I tried printing the 1 dollar coupon for the irish spring body wash and i couldn't find it. Is it under a certain zipcode?

      • Brenda Cortes

        I think they removed it

        • Wendygdwn

          Thank you!

    • Amanda

Wow, I am SO glad to hear I am not the only one with problems with Walgreen's coupon policy. ( well not really, sometimes they have good sales and I don't like everyone having headaches over coupons ) What I absolutely don't like is when the cashier tries to make it sound like you are stealing.( in regards the Right Guard deal ) As long as your product matches the manufacturer coupon the store is getting back the dollar value on the coupon. So we may be getting something for little oop or free, but the store gets it back. It has come to the point now I only go into one Walgreens in my town ( we have 4 ) I make sure the more 'coupon aware” cashier is working and do my transactions then. It is SO frustrating especially when I have 2 kids with me. I guess what I'm trying to voice is, when you can plainly show them with their own coupon policy that they should take a coupon corporate should be called, or items voided. If Walgreens can't come up to speed with their competitor ( CVS & Rite-Aid ) eventually people will stop trying. It seems like every time I read the comments here some has called corporate, you would think they would get the message. Happy Deal Hunting & DO NOT EVER feel like you are doing something wrong, we are all just saving money!!

      • nana

I agree. With the economy the way that it is we are all trying to save as much money at the stores as we can. God knows that they are getting us at the pumps with the gas. I have seen so many more people use coupons now days then I have in all the years past. I know that I am.

      • Donna

My response to any cashier about the right guard deal or one similar, is that the Walgreen advertsement —-even tells you there is a coupon in the Sunday paper—so they are telling you to steal their product, if that is what they think. Today, I had cashiers changing places @ the register when thy saw I had coupons and were whispering, which made me feel alittle uncomfortable. But who cares I walked out with about $110.00 products and it only cost me 28.48…..So don't let them intimidate you……

        • Donna

Ok, It happened to me today @ walgreens abt the rt guard coupon, Well did exactly what I told you…..the erk argued so I told her to call Corp…well instead she call her district mgr and she said I would have to pay for 1 and then get 2 free.. I argued the fact of FALSE ADVERTISING– so she called corp. and they then let me have it…after that I gave them a piece of my mind….abt making me feel like I was a crook……Then when I got home I call corp…and with in the hour I had the store mgr call me ….SHE SAID THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN….I told her I didn't want to get anyone in trouble but i DID WANT HER EMPLOYEES to know the policy, so others would not be treated the same way….and I wanted to be able to walk in the store without the employees talking abt me—she said this would be handled ..And explained the district mgr also need to be aware of the policies of the company…its pretty sad higher up mgrs don't know their own companies policies………………My point is made…….you just have to speak up……….

    • Jjrutt

Our walgreens has been fantastic. The cashier eve congratulated e on how much I was saving, saying more people should ome in and get the bargains. She told me that she is getting the same deals but gets 15% discount cuz she works there. She told me to always come to her if she is there and I will never have a problem. She was fantastic, so far I have had no bad experiences with walgreens!

I am so glad that the Walgreens where I live is AWESOME! I went in today to get the Right Guard Body Wash and they were sold out! The lady that is over that area actually told me should get some in tonight and that she would put me 4 under the counter and when I came in next time she would let me get them. I thought this was going above and beyond. All of the cashiers at Walgreens are super nice and have never given me a problem with my coupons. Rite Aid has been the exact same and the Manager there is wonderful. He actually goes out of the way to order items that are in the sales paper from other vendors if he can't get it through Rite Aid! Super Nice.
CVS on the other hand has not been all that great. I have stopped doing alot of my shopping there. I only go if they have something really good.

    • Momof2boys

Question (I am new at this) My Walgreens didn't do the right guard for free deal right so can I go back in and get my money back? The cashier actually told me it did work and she took my coupons(I had two) but when I got home and looked at the receipt I realized I had still been charged for two! Guess thats my fault for not double checking. Also a couple other things I noticed…The walgreens training paints b1g1 and use their coupon for $1 off deal the coupon didn't work because it says for diapers not for training paints, but still a great deal without getting the buck off :) Also I wasn't able to print the irish spring deodorant or body wash coupon because I think they got pulled but once again still good deal without coupon as well for the body wash.
The $2 RR WYB Purex Complete Fabric Softener 32 loads at $4.99 in my paper there was a $2 dollar off coupon so it actually makes it $0.99!!! I have gone a few times this week to get this deal :) They wont let me do more then one at a time a transaction/day.

Love, love, love how well walgreens handled me and my two kids and my first experience with couponing! Yay walgreens!!! Cvs on the other hand sucked :(

      • Kdc7703

On the diapers and training pants there is a 2 dollar off coupon in the infant care booklet and it makes them 2.49 a pack.

        • guest

We actually tried to use the $2 off coupon in the infant care book for the training pants and it would not work!! Does anyone know for sure if you can use the coupon for training pant??

          • Vickie

The coupon in the book is only for diapers, training pants are not included

            • Candi386

              What is the coupon number?

      • CCShad

You may want to check your receipt again on the RG. I bought 4 and used 2 B1G1 coupons. On my receipt, the items each ring up for $3.99, then way at the bottom, before subtotal, is the store sale deduction. Should say “7.98-FREE” Your two $3.99 coupon deductions should be somewhere above that. But I would return if it is not there.

      • TJ

I'm glad your RR printing out for the Purex mine didn't. The cashier told me that if I use a manufacturer coupon it will not print out my RR and it didn't.

    • Kenziesfunluvinfam

You can akways go back to Walgreens and talk to them. They may fix it for you! Every store is different. My suggestion is to check your items out seperately and know what it should cost or at least an approx. cost.
Ex. I went and bought several items yesterday, but I did my Right Guard seperately and so on that way I made sure They took everything off. I have found that when I do try to check everything out at once a coupon always ends up not being scanned. This is just what I do.
      Hope it helps!

      • Momof2boys

Thanks. I did just tell my husband yesterday that I am just gonna start taking cash and doing separate transactions so I can make sure that doesn't happen again and that way its not a ton of transactions on my debit card.

    • Becky

I'm wondering if I buy $20.00 worth of Excedrin to get $10.00 in RR, but I use 2 free up to $5.99 coupons and a $3.50 coupon, which would bring the total down to under $5.00, would I still get the register rewards? Does anybody know?

      • Bamasaver

You should still get the RR…they're supposed to be based on the selling price, before any coupons.

    • Diana

HELP – where do i find the infant care booklet? I asked at my Walgreens and the manager said he didn't know of one. I need this I am buying for two babies in need.

      • reynoldsja

        Diana-
I have any extra one I can send you. Email me at sreynolds@fcpsumter.com

      • Vickie

I work at Walgreens and we keep ours at the beauty counter, just ask the beauty advisor on duty if they have one.

      • biskit0323

I talked to my manager and asked if I had just the code would they accept it. He said that some of the coupon books are regional but he would try the code and if it worked, I could use it. He tried it and it worked. I called before this sale started. So, when I went for the sale and gave the casher the code, she didn't have a problem with it at all. She just typed it right in. At this moment, I do not remember the code. I got it from the comments on here though. HTH!

      • Corey G

If all else fails, you can always buy them on eBay.

    • guest

Has anyone had any success in using the $2 off coupon in the Infant Care Book on training pant instead of diapers?

      • Vickie

I think that The coupon in the books states diapers..i dont recall seeing training pants included..hope that helps.

Got 6 Right Guards (BOGO RP 3/13 and they were BOGO at Walgreen's this week) for $.93! A personal best…

      • gwhiz

Went to several Wags and each one told me I could not use BOGO with a BOGO deal with the Right Guard. I even asked for a manager – so annoyed

    • Kdc7703

Look in the freezer section in your walgreens there are alot of mark downs and i've been to a few so it's everywhere. They had dibs ice cream for 1.09 the bigger box. There's abunch of differnt stuff lean cuisines to so if you have coupons that would be good.

    • Czalinsky

Please Don't take this the wrong way but when Saying what deals you got, total the savings correctly for the New people. It can be confusing for them
For example the Purex softener for $4.99 with $2RR back. When you use the $2 off Coupon it doesn't really make it $.99. Now if you were able to use that $2RR on another then yes but when new people look at this and see”I got Purex Crys. for $.99″ they get confused and upset with Wags… Say what your OOP was instead. Or if you used RR in your deal….
Newbies: once you start getting RRs and rolling them into your future deals thats where the saving come in…
Again I'm not trying to upset anyone just trying to help!!!
      Thanks

      • kimana517

The RR are accounted for in the sample transactions. You must have just missed it.

        “Transaction #2
        Buy:
        (2) Irish Spring Deodorant $3
        (1) small filler item 10¢
        Use:
        (2) -$1 off Irish Spring deodorant PRINTABLE
        *****-$2 RR******
        Total Due: $2.10
        Get Back: $4 RR”

        • Czalisnky

Thats not the post I was referring to… but you post is very clear, some are not… I've some posts from new people that thought the RRs were automatically taken off at register and they would get the item for the cheaper price shown…

      • gwhiz

It is correct – once you use the system a little more, you will understand what she means.
I have NEVER had Register Rewards taken off automatically, you have to have had rewards from a previous transaction. There is a tab at the top that says “getting started” that will explain everything for someone just starting out.
$4.99 – $2 off is $2.99, you get back $2 RR making it “really” .99cents. You have to spend a little and gett RR before being able to “really” have bought an items for the low price, other wise you are truly paying $2.99, which is still a good deal with $2 in RR for your next trip. I hope that helps :)

    • Allena Hale

what filler item can you buy for 10 cents?

      • Ward

I always buy laffy taffy that is in a big tub by the register!!

    • Abmaddoxrn

I went to wags today to do the right guard deal got 10 DOs and had 5 of the BOGO right guard coupons, my cashier told me i could not do that, that then both would be free, and i told her that was my whole point, she called the manager and he also said i could not do that, so i left the store read the policy and called the manager back he said maybe i misundertood the cashier, you can come back and we can try asn see what happens. I didnt get to go back tonight because i was on my way to work, I think I will go back in am, any suggestion on how to handle the situation.????HELP!!

      • guest

I would bring print out the policy and bring it in there with you and show it to the cashier and manager. If they won't even try it or won't let you get the b1g1 deal, then just let them know you are going to call the corporate office and follow thru.

      • Donna

this happen yesterday, so I asked the clerk to call corp., but instead she called her District Mgr., who said I had to buy 1 and get 2 free, so I disputed the fact that is not what the add said…so she called corp. and they let me have it then, but stated corp. had made a mistake….(and after making me feel like a thief)…the add states buy 1 get 1 free and also states there is a coupon in Sunday's paper–they would be false advertising —was my point…..when I got home I called corp.–phone number on back of receipt……she said I was totally right—they would have a rep. call me and would let the store and the District mgr..know the correct policy…
but there maybe a limit of 2 coupons at a time…..so just go back—several more time to use your coupons…..bye the way…someone actually called me back within an hour of my call to corp. from the store to appologized and say this would never be a problem again….didn't want anyone to be in trouble….just to know the stores policies…its there job and pay check for us to shop in their stores……

        • gwhiz

Went to 2 diff. Wags stores today and was told the same thing. I had the cashier call the mgr. and was so irritated that some of my friends were able to get their body wash for free and I was not. It's so annoying!

      • Deb

Call corporate, the same thing happened to me. I sat out in the car and called them while they left me on hold, called the Asst. Manager haha and when I went back in she had tears in her eyes and apologized. Told her if she was going to work there she needs to know the policy and not argue with a customer. So unprofessional.

    • Jjs Strickland

Does anyone know if Walgreens offers rain checks?

      • backwardsmom

from what i understand its raincheck on sale item price only- they do not give it for a rr s price because it is considered a manufacter coupon imprinted on it — if that makes any sense

      • bootsiegirl

I went to Walgreens today and especially wanted the Dial lotion but they were out of it. I aked for a rain check and the cashier said “no because the RR would not print past Saturday”. She did not offer to give me a rain check for the sale price.

    • Reagan

Can everyone else get the Irish Spring coupon? I've been through 3 times and don't see it. Maybe I'm looking over it!

    • Bettyverburg

your coupon for neosporin or band-aid for $1.50 was not that when i registered and the coupon came up,it said neosporin and bandaid, that is not good,

    • TJ

I went to 3 different Walgreens today looking for the purex complete crystal softner. I finally found it at the 3rd Walgreens I went to. So, I had 4 coupons because its on sale this week for $4.99 with $2 manufacturer coupon and $2 RR. Needless to say the 1st 2 Walgreens I went to were sold out but the manager gave me a raincheck for the sales price of $2.99 minus my $2 coupon I will get it for .99.What I had a problem with is when I got to the last Walgreens were they actually had the product I got 4 then it was a big commotion about limit 1 because they have been selling quickly out if it. The the cashier informed me that the register may not print RR since I was using a manufacturer coupon and sure enough it didn't print out. The stores are not losing money from us using coupons. I just don't understand.

      • I bought RR products with coupons all the time. Don't know why that would have happened. I'm sure the stores have a right to set a quantity limit on items.

    • Jenn

I'm another newbie! Where can I find the Beauty booklets and Infant care booklets mentioned above??
